Fun place to come and enjoy a nice dinner, or people watch, hang out or have ice cream. Several new and interesting places to eat. Love all the Dallas Cowboys stuff. Fun place

First visit to The Star wasn't for football, but for a highschool graduation ceremony. The cavernous football field made the 550 graduates look remote as they sat through the speeches and later received diplomas - but that was the only real drawback. There was lots of seating for family and friends, parking was a breeze. But the biggest benefit was the concourse outside the stadium (yes, it was a replica of as football field) where we could meet the recent graduate to get pictures. While the Dr. Pepper facility offered a cozier atmosphere for the ceremony, this venue was easy to negotiate and offered some other perks.

swonderful place to visit and to get your dallas cowboy t-shirts. Staff very helpful with finding what you want.

Amazing. For anyone that is a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan, like my family, you need to take a tour to experience how nice this is. We loved it and there was actually a player working out while we were there.

This is an incredible football venue, man first class all around, every one who works there loves their job!! I'm a Steelers fan yet I gotta admit first class people and they do it up Big Time!!

I bought my family tickets to tour The Star as a part of our Family Christmas. I new my husband would love it. He's a big Cowboys fan. It was the most disappointing tour I have ever paid for because it did not include the Ford Center or The War Room. We didn't get to see the indoor playing field. They did not even attempt to explain why we didn't get to see it. The $30 plus V.I.P. tour was a rip off from our point of view. Will not be taking any of my friends or future visitors to The Star. Spend your money elsewhere.

Our tour guide Tim gives enjoyable, informative and entertaining tours. I remember him from an ATT stadium tour taken a few years ago. He is knowledgeable about The Dallas Cowboy organization and seems to really have pride in representing the team as he guides his visitors through the facilities.

We attended the lighting of the Christmas tree on Black Friday and we had an absolute blast. Great place to visit and free to enjoy. I am a die hard Cowboys fan but this is fun for even those that are not Cowboys fans.

WOW! The Cowboys do everything in style! Their office building is stunning and the practice fields in the back were amazing to see. We didn't have time for the 1 1/2 hour tour, so we just walked around and enjoyed seeing everything--including all the shops around it. We will probably go back and take the tour next time we are in Frisco.

Really cool place to visit. Did not do the tour, but went into the huge gift shop, then walked around the grounds. Practice facility is huge, along with an outside field.

If you're a Cowboy fan or just a plain o football fan, you enjoy the tour. Timing is probably the most important thing to remember. We took the tour on a Tuesday at 6pm. Not only did we get to see the war room, go on to the practice field, we also got to see the lock room. If you take a tour earlier in the day some these areas will be off limits because the players and coaches are there.

Very nice facility. Being from a northern state, we don't have anything of this caliber. The design and finish is second to none.

The star in frisco, TX is amazing and worth the drive, Cowboy fans will love it has so many historical items to see

Awesome atmosphere. Lots of energy. Kids had a blast. Da Marco awesome Italian restaurant a d accommodated w 2 small kids

Awesome experience - love me some Cowboys!! Buy tickets ahead of time for the guided tour. Skip the expensive hotels nearby and try out an Airbnb on the Lake Lewisville side of Frisco away from the hustle and bustle while you enjoy fishing, water sports, hiking etc. There is an Airbnb listing with "1600 sq ft" in the title and it is right outside of Hidden Cove Park. Highly recommended!

If you love football you will LIKE this place but if you are a Dallas Cowboy fan, you will LOVE it. It is a new place so it seems to still evolving into something great!

If you have a warm spot in your heart for America’s football team, a visit to the World Headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys will swell your heart with pride. This is a class act team and their championship ways are on full display on this tour of the heartland of their operations and their training. Even if you aren’t a Cowboys fan, there is something for any NFL fan to think about, wish for or compare. There were children to seniors on our tour of two dozen and everyone seemed to enjoy the sights and factoids. The hour and a quarter flew by thanks to our personable super fan tour guide Ashley. Her enthusiasm for the team was infectious and her skillful discussion of the displays and team history made it an amazing tour. So glad I visited it!

The Omni Star is a beautiful property that mixes the luxury of Omni with the excitement of the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys fandom is subtly woven into the fabric (literally) of the rooms and wall art and you are steps away from a great fan merch shop. The rooms are well appointed and luxurious. The beds are super comfortable and the shower is divine. And it all comes with the Omni service you are used to. Just a short walk across the street yields some great restaurants and some shopping. It is definitely worth a stay.

I love watching my son play at The Star. I wish more of the players would visit the games. It feels professional. The facility is amazing.

So far the Cowboys have put on the Run the Star 5K twice in 3 years. We love this annual tradition with all of their additional festivities included.

I had high expectations considering the hype around this place however, I can honestly say I was disappointed. The number of establishments that would qualify as a "good" restaurant is very low considering the quantity present. It seems they concentrated more on making a "sports bar" concept which there are plenty in Dallas for them to compete with. You struggle to find a good sit down dinner place here. Da Mario appears to be the only one in this vast complex that can hold its own. This is sad. Service is friendly but it is also very slow in most of the establishments. Legacy is a much better experience in my opinion and Star should take notes from there.

As a birthday gift and Christmas gift I want to the cowboys game and stayed at the Star , I have a meet and greet with the cowboys cheerleaders and met with some of the cowboy players had an autograph session and luncheon it was an amazing time at the Star

If you are a football fan, this is the place for you. Such a cool experience and beautiful facility. Take the guided tour - you will not be disappointed. The restaurants and hotel are not ready yet. In the meantime, try out an Airbnb on the Lake Lewisville side of Frisco away from the hustle and bustle while you enjoy fishing, water sports, hiking etc. There is an Airbnb listing with "1600 sq ft" in the title and it is right outside of Hidden Cove Park. Highly recommended!

Great place for a quick glass of wine and for some American culture. Mini football field that the kids play on is the main attraction, grab a glass of wine at Concrete Cowboy and enjoy the warm weather.

Cowboys fans here it is this is amazing place, gift shops , unlimited picture oppertunities, and great food could spend hours here

Being a new facility, of course there are plenty of buildings with very limited parking, so everyone is driving around trying to snag a parking space. Yes, they have a mini football field and big screen, but that's the only thing. Anything else, you have to buy the $35 tour. Take a photo of the logo on the wall? Nope, you have to take the $35 tour for that. We've bought plenty of Cowboys merchandise over the years, but didn't have the time or money to pay for their $35 tour, so we were out of luck. Old Jerry just keeps looking for ways to make more money.

The Star in Frisco Texas is still under construction.
Tours will begin in January 2017.
Lots of construction going on so not much to see at this moment (December 2016).
However still worth to see if you have the time to visit the beautiful city of Frisco.

We attended a highschool game. The facility is amazing. Must have cost a bundle. This is where the Dallas Cowboys train.
Everyone in the family loved the experience.

This tour was not everything it really was hyped up to be for the price. The stadium was nice to see and the areas around the field. We were hauled around like cattle, going from one area to the next. It was seeing a lot of awards and history of Dallas. I would not go on the tour again.

Michael Irvin #88 and Troy Aikman #8 were both legendary Dallas Cowboys. The practice facility looked awesome! The Star was clean with nice restaurants and a nice Dallas Cowboy Store. There was a real outdoor practice field for the families and kids. Frisco is lucky to have the Dallas Cowboys there.

We attended our Son's football game last Friday night and had a blast. The area has grown since last year with multiple restaurants and pubs with within a pass away for early gatherings or semi tail-gating. The establishments are a bit pricy but worth a once a week visit with friends to watch good Texas High School Football. Parking was easy with ample accommodations and very easy to access the stadium. We really enjoy games at The Star.

Although I am not a football fan, I found the tour interesting and we got onto the field after watching Jerry Jones land in his helicopter. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting back stories. My son-in-law is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. We were a family group of 9 ranging in age from 9 to 76. Fortunately, the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony with the DC cheerleaders, music and fireworks started as our tour ended. The kids were thrilled.

If you love the Cowboys or NFL, you will like this place. It is the headquarters for an NFL team that was built to embrace the public. Huge indoor and outdoor practice/playing fields. Mid size field for the public to 'play' on. Tours are pricey though ($30 per person)

We went there yesterday 5/3/2017 Wed. A friend of mine came to visit me from out of town. The #1 thing on the list of things to see was this new facility that everyone had been talking about. The cost was something like $65 or $66 for two people. WE paid on credit card. There was NOBODY in line. So we got there about 3pm. The guy said, "Oh the 3pm has started. Y'all can go at 4pm." So we said, "ok." We didn't check our tickets. We got to door at 330pm This guy with attitude told me. "You can't bring your purse. You're too early for tour." Then I had to go put my purse in car. NO problem the games are like that too but I wasn't thinking that it was too big. But they frown upon, purses, unless it's a wallet and clear bag. So ladies remember that. So We finally got to go in at 4pm then this guy said, 'These tickets are for 3pm. I can't let you go on tour." I was like "Then give us our money back. WE paid you. Either make these work or let us have refund." So he had to call someone and acted like we stole the tickets. It was really BS. So the woman came down and she said she was there when we bought. I said, "We paid with credit card check your records. We have receipt. Also there was only one guy there he said 4pm was avail. We just took the tickets he gave us. Anyway, The tour is not workth $65-$66 you cannot take any photos. The photos that you see here are mostly outside. YOu can do the outside stuff for free. Currently that whole area is under construction. So watch out for nails, debris, etc. The workers were all wearing hard hats. The gift shop had so many people in there working but NO customers. YOu do not feel welcome there. They hard pressure you to buy stuff in overpriced gift shop. NO restaurants to walk in. Also they had a SUPER old woman doing the tour which really made me upset because I didn't feel that she had FAN experience. She didn't seem like the type of person that should be doing a Sports Tour. Sure a MUSEUM at Dallas Art Center or something but not for DALLAS COWBOYS. Why was she there. It was terrible she also had a crappy attitude. One guy from CA asked about security and why they had the trophies just sitting there. He thought they were replicas and I think they are fakes also. She didn't answer his question she just said, "Our security is that guy over there in suit. He is trained to Shoot to Kill. Anyone grabs a trophy and walks out they will be shot and killed. I was like YOu skank that's not what you tell FANS. Plus these fake looking trophies and fake rings. Who cares? I thought she was too rude and too SERIOUS. She was pathetic. I also stated asked her, "What type of tour is this? We can't take photos of the AWESOME stuff. WE can't sit anywhere. We can't touch anything." This tour sucks. Where are your brochures, pamphlets? They treated us like trash and little kids. Reguarlar hard working people don't deserve this. It's not worth it. All we did was walk up hallways of closed doors, building was cold. parking was free though. My friend wanted to know more trivia and have more photos. But NOPE they wouldn' t allow photos. They shouldn't even be open for public. This tour sucks. The best money option is to just to go to ATT STADIUM it's better in my opinion. I've taken ATT STADIUM tour like 3 times with friends who come to visit me and family. IT's well worth it. THE STAR FRISCO FORD CENTER TOUR they don't treat fans good. They have a sorry tour. They need a younger guy who's knowledgeable about tours, etc. They need to stop being so RUDE and they act so snobby. ALL that equipment and they still can't win a superbowl.. who cares? For the average working person. Don't get played by their system. They have plenty of money they don't need our $65 and it's quite apparent. So let the others pay them. If you go there just walk around and take photos outside or on the turf outside the rest you can look at on the internet from other dummies like us who went there and were only allowed to take like 3 worthless photos. Seriously I was so disappointed. $65 can buy you movie, food, or something you want to invest in YOURSELF. I say they can keep their lowsy tour. The best tour is ATT STADIUM. I hope this helps . Don't take kids. It was not kid friendly. it was BORING. It was about 45 minutes, 37 stairs to walk up, They took us to cafeteria where players eat, the room next door where they watch game footage, We walked up and down halls with closed doors. SAW NOTHING. We saw the gym but couldn't photograph it nor go inside. We didn't see the pool or where they help them rehab. We were DUPED. This is the WORST tour I ever had as a FAN. They gave is a lanyard with a silly little badge to wear. IT was cheezy. This tour was lame it wasn't a good option. Since you can't take photos I feel a catalogue of fan book would have been in order included in tour. They do not care about fans so they can keep their tour. TOTAL FAIL. The area is under construction they are still working on the area near there and parts of The STAR. SKIP It!.. Do not bring kids. It is not Kid friendly. Do not take friends, family you care about they will be mistreated and disappointed. Go to places that treat you nicely and make you feel WELCOME. ATT STADIUM tour is far better.

There is not a bad seat in the Star. Love watching games there even if we do not know a single player. Being married to a retired high school coach means attending many, many games. We still have it in our blood and heart. Perfect place for us to enjoy our passion without fighting the outdoor elements. One can go enjoy dinner at the one of the many restaurants surrounding the Star then sit back in comfort and enjoy a game.

Really great if you like the 'Boys and good if you like pro football. It was worth the $32 for this 1 and 1/2 hour walking tour. The tour guide was not too easy to warm up to and nobody in our group left a tip I suppose thinking that the ticket cost was enough. The historical information was great. Seeing the eating facilities and workout and education/film rooms was fascinating. We did not get to go into many areas and it felt slightly like a hip. Overall, a good and worthwhile experience to see football on parade. I'd go again (if I could afford it). The complex itself is wowing.

A fantastic football history lesson focusing on one of the biggest brands in major sports. Worth over $1.5 billion this facility displays how the Cowboys have been among the league leaders in a number of categories. Tour takes just over an hour and gets one to the front lines of an impressive owner and professional sports franchise.

While visiting this facility for a non-sports reason (my son's HS graduation) I couldn't stop thinking about Jerry Jones and him taking a knee with the players. I lost interest in Football and the Cowboys. Go NFL!

We had a business meeting at The Star and the venue was great. The seating was good as you could not get a bad view. The restrooms were clean. The staff was awesome.

We have been to the Star 3 times:
James Taylor concert (7/31)--We were on the floor. Seats were a little uncomfortable and only restrooms on that level were port-o-lets. However the sound was great and parking was good in and out.
Dallas Cowboys Practice (August)- great event. good parking in and out.
Lone Star High
School playoff (11/16) - Great experience. 1st class and parking was great.

This is my first time visiting the Cowboys practice facility. The practice facility is first rate and offers tours that you can book in advance. In addition, there are great restaurants and the Omni Hotel patio that is great for people watching.

This is a state-of-the-art facility with a gigantic indoor training facility. They are so involved with helping the local schools and not-for-profits in the area

I read some negative reviews about this tour so when I bought my tickets I was a little apprehensive. I read the staff was dismissive, tour guides were rude, the toor was unimpressive, and the tour ended in the fan shop where you were pressured to purchase over priced items. I was very pleased to find everything above was false.
We arrived at the facility and immediately found a staff member that was very pleasant and directed us to the room where the tour was to start (we bought our tickets on line). You have to go through security and they use a metal detector. Just an FYI no bags, purses, or backpacks are allowed.
Our tour guide arrived about five minutes before the tour was to start and checked everybody’s tickets. There were two guides for the tour and 26 people. The guides were extremely pleasant and friendly.
The tour was very impressive. It went through some history along with information regarding the Cowboys current team. There were many very interesting displays including the first letter written to request to the Cowboys franchise with the NFL. There were also displays regarding the many MVPs and historical moments with the team.
The tour also showed you the current training facilities for the Dallas Cowboys. There were even some cowboy players walking around the facility working out and seeing the trainers.
The tour shows you the two outdoor fields one is grass and one is Astroturf. Then they take you to the indoor field. This is a full size football field that seats 12,000 people. Also very impressive.
The tour then showed us the actual Super Bowl trophies the Cowboys won along with the Super Bowl rings.
The tour ends in the media room where you see where they do their press conferences. It does not end in the fan shop. In fact the fan shop is not even in the same building.
I found the tour guides to be very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the Dallas Cowboys. I would highly recommend this to her for any NFL fan even non-cowboy fans. The facility is very impressed with and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
I recommend buying tickets ahead of time.

Not open yet. Still under construction but we had to stop. Husband is a huge Cowboys fan! Took pictures on the front field. This place is massively huge! Can't wait to come back!

Having taken the AT&T Stadium tour a couple of times we decided to check out the Dallas Cowboys facility The Star. We were a few minutes early so I did some shopping at the Fans United store which had everything Cowboys you could possibly want. Now on to the tour. We took the 11:00am tour which apparently is the time the team practices every day. Because the team was there we were told repeatedly not to take any pictures and several areas were off limits On the hour tour there were only 2-3 areas where you were allowed to take pics. The tour guide while knowledgeable was kind of rude at times because obviously we were more interested in watching the team on the practice field than anything she had to say. While it was great to see Dak Prescott throwing passes I would rather have come at a time when I could have seen the locker room and other areas that were off limits due to practice. They should let people know that before getting you to shell out nearly $40 a ticket. If you are a Cowboys fan do yourself a favor and go tour AT&T stadium. It's cheaper and you get more for your money.

This is a very fan friendly area with 2 parking garages, lots of restaurants, and great Dallas Cowboy nostalgia.

This is a must do if you are a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. My daughter and I took the tour and it was well worth the money. Our tour guide Julie took her time and explained about everything there was to our group. We took a late tour so there was only one player still there but we still had a fantastic time.

This is a very impressive and well thought out entertainment complex. Many restaurants and retail shopping for Cowboy gear.

Enjoy this shining example of why the Cowboys are Great/went to the first tours when opened fantastic and Im sure its even better//Cowboys were practicing so missed some of usual tour areas

This was a dream vacation from the stay visiting the Star, the game, the tour of the stadium... wow!!

We attended The Star last month for a Frisco high school function and wow! You can tell they put a lot of thought into this facility, easy parking, lots' of excitement for the kids. Fun stuff!

The Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters at The Star in Frisco is a very nice public private partnership facility with the city of Frisco. We went there for a high school game. Its a mini Jerry's world. The Tostitos Championship Plaza has a model turf and of course there is an outdoor pro shop to pick up cowboys gear.

My wife and I just moved to Frisco, Texas and have been checking out all the sites. Today we had an hour and decided to use it to visit The Star to see what all the hype was about. We purposely chose a quieter day so we could see everything with little hassle. The Star, we found, is a beautiful development with not only plenty of space for the Cowboys, but a gorgeous Omni Hotel with a stunning open lobby, several nice fast food restaurants, as well as a corridor of inviting, well healed, and creative restaurants. You can also take a tour of the Ford Center, shop for exclusive sports wear, and play a bit of football on the field just in front of the Ford Center. I must admit that we’re not football fans, but The Star is a venue that will attract us to return, especially to try out some of the alluring restaurants and perhaps a staycation in the truly lovely Omni.

Waiting for my plane, I was excited to visit the Star. The ticket office agent let me know the time of the nexr tour - which would work, but I could not bring my backpack or small purse in for the tour. My option, after walking next door to the Omni Hotel, was to pay $10 to store my bags for a few hours. I went to lunch and decided to come back another trip better prepared.

WOW! What a facility! The Cowboys have spared no expense in creating there offices & training facility. If you are really lucky, like we were, you possibly will see some players.

You can't go hungry! There are so many food choices, hamburgers, incredible pizza, mexican, southern comfort, high end steaks, ice cream... multiple bars.
Neat atmosphere with the Cowboys training facility at the center of the Star.

...even if you are not Cowboys fans. We are Seahawks fans coming to visit relatives in the Dallas metroplex and they took us here. After leaving, I was like Damm, why don't the Seahawks have something like this for their fans. Very nice practice facility and the grounds were decorated for Christmas which made it even nicer.

I was invited over to the Star as guest on the Dallas Cowboys podcast last month, while I was there I took the tour of the facility and its unbelievable how amazing this is and what the capacity it holds and the catering not just for the Cowboys, but for local high school football teams and other events as well.
The indoor training arena! 12,000 seats! That is more than a lot of Football (Soccer) teams in Europe! the training facility, seeing the weight room through the glass looked all any professional athlete needs to be the best.
Again theres the pro shop and also the taking a tour of the Gym facility that is used by the public is even just... lol words cannot describe how much I would move to Dallas from Scotland! My holiday to the lone star state just made me fall in love of the place.
Cause my friend works for the Cowboys, I got to see the offices and see friends I have seen since London (when Dallas played Jacksonville). Even got Dak Prescott saying hello to me and having a laugh with Alfred Morris about my country.

My wife and I went to the Bonnie Raitt/James Taylor concert last night at this facility. First off - Bonnie and James were awesome, an absolutely fantastic concert. However, the Ford Center/Star facility is just not setup for a music concert. But let's start at the beginning. Granted this is a new complex that is not fully built out. So the area is missing some of the basics like adequate parking and eateries. Fortunately we got there way early and got a good place to park. One good thing about parking is it is free - not sure how long that will last. You are very restricted to what you can bring into the stadium. Women cannot bring purses into the stadium that are larger than 5 inches by 8 inches. We sat on the floor around the 50 yard line and had trouble seeing the stage - it was too low. They had 2 small video screens to the side showing the artists but they were not nearly big enough. The venue is mainly to watch football, which means there are not nearly as many fans in the stadium like there is for a concert with most of the field filled with people. However, the facility seemed to handle the crowd except for exiting the floor after the concert; you had to walk up through the crowd sitting in the stands. I would imagine this is a great stadium for watching football and the Frisco high schools will certainly enjoy it this year; however for music concerts the place needs some serious work to fix the acoustics - if that can be done. Bottom line we won't go to another concert there until they address the acoustics.

In the wise words of Admiral Ackbar: It's a TRAP! A true tourist trap in every sense of the word. Everything there is expensive and fake. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying the price if it's worth it, but service sucks and food is meh, so they expect us to pay for the Instagram background. Their's bars look the part, but they have speed bar tenders making (horrible) $20 cocktails, instead of having a proper mixologist for that price.
In addition to that, I witnessed a blind AUTISTIC man getting systematically kicked out of stores for trying to have a conversation. I spoke to him extensively. No excuse to ostracize another human as I witnessed at The Star. This star won't shine for long like this.

We visited the Star in Frisco to have lunch.
The faculty/area is mixed use, including the Cowboy practice field and the admin office.
The overall area has many restaurants, of various genre. There are also many shops.
Overall, a great area created in Frisco.

The Dallas Cowboy’s Headquarters , Star is an amazing place. A football field for kids to play on and for parents to watch on a BIG screen one of the football games currently being played. A number of bowl game were shown during the bowl, Christmas season. There was a huge beautifully decorated Christmas tree that changed vivid colors. The Star is near many great bars and restaurants as well as shops. Entrance to the Omni Hotel is right there. We took the tour of the facilities and were very impressed. I highly recommend this tour. If you are in the Dallas area, a trip to Frisco and the Star will create some great memories whether you are a Cowboy’s fan or not.

This is a great great place to tour even if you don't like/love the Cowboys. ATT stadium is a must do and this would be a close second. Lots of interesting tidbits. We learned a bit more than when we toured the Valley Ranch location. For sure this newer location and practice facility is pimped out in Jerry fashion! Wished we could have seen all the art in these buildings.....but the tour is very specific to history and live practices meetings and media/press conferences. We were lucky as workouts/practice had just ended....and since Cowboys are done w/ season (ho hum), we saw Dak, Sean Lee, Cole Beasley and Coach Garrett walking the halls, grabbing lunch etc. State of the art workout facility. We had two great tour guides in Hal and Rosie. They love their job and can speak on so much history. SB Trophies and rings on display. Parking is relatively easy and lots of places to eat/drink close by to make a long half day or night.

I did the tour of The Star on the day of the Cowboys-Eagles game. This place is huge, be ready to do some walking. You get to see all sorts of cool stuff. You see Super Bowl trophies, rings, and the operating areas of the Dallas Cowboys. You sit in their big meeting room. You see the weight room and the fields. Way cool for a football junkie.

This is a must see for Dallas Cowboys fans! Tours are $32.50/adult but so worth it. They take you into the areas that you are so wanting to see. Straight into the War Room to sit in the chairs and all around the inner sanctum. You get to see the Superbowl Trophies close up and the Championship rings behind glass. Our tour guide was amazing with lots of tidbits and trivia. Visit and you won't be sorry!!!

Cowboys fan or not, worth the visit (we did not take the tour, only visited the grounds), there is enough history to spend a couple hours reviewing Dallas Cowboy lore. Places for photos, Cowboys hall of fame player monuments, and like everything else with the Cowboys, its Big.

We walked in and Columbo was walking out! Already Star struck... the Darren Woodson is walking out and stops and takes pics with people and even shakes hands with my husband... the tour hadn't even started and I was already having a blast.
Our tour guides, Coach and Carlito were fantastic. We walked in start hearing our Boys history. The walls the "museum" feel of it all. You're told if you want to take photos you can but no videos and no photos of any people. I can respect that. I dont want people coming into my workplace and asking me for photos but also... I'm not famous. Kitna walks down the hallway. Oooh I wanna take a pic but I don't. Shy Jones-Anderson and Stephen Jones were in the war room so we were not allowed to go in. But Shy walked past us to get to the war room.
We move from display to display and hear all the stories. Soaking it all in. Then Calvin Hill walks out of the locker room to head to the gym. Once a Cowboy always a Cowboy... they tell us any past or present player may use the facility at anytime. And then we spot the unmistakable hair of Zeke and I almost lose my ability to not take a picture. I squeal and Carlito says "be cool". I did but it was hard! Then Kris Richard walks right past us. He waved to and said hi guys to our group. We sat in the stadium style seats they review tape in and where the cheerleaders come for their show. We continue our tour and see where the tv station and radio shows are taped. A radio show was airing as we walked thru. Got to play around and get pics on the practice field. Saw the 5 Lombardi trophies and 5 Super Bowl rings. And the tour does not end in a gift shop... it end in the media room. If there is no press conference you can stand at and take pics at the real podium. Jason Garrett was standing where my husband was standing 30 minutes after we left! It was just perfect! A must for any Cowboys fan.
DO NOT SHOW UP THE DAY YOU WANT TO TOUR!! GET YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE ONLINE.

Impressive looking place but not a good place for music concerts. We were there for the James Taylor show. Seats on the floor were cheap folding chairs. Acoustics were poor, an echo chamber. People were talking throughout the show, employees standing in the aisles throughout the show. They even allowed people to sit in the aisles. Traffic is terrible, the city is not prepared for large crowds. And the tickets were expensive. Pass on this place for music.

This place is beautiful and very well planned. The Italian marble is beautiful!!! They explained why the rooms are where they are. The guide was funny and entertaining and we had a great time!

A must visit for any Cowboy fan. Plenty of great places to shop, grab a bite to eat and drink. Lots of on-site parking. The mini football field and HUGE TV screen will keep the kids entertained.

Wow! Enjoying the new Mi Cocinos at The Star .... it's brand-new and Alfredo, the bartender, and Chris, the manager, are the best! Wonderful staff .... awesome food as usual and unbelievable Mambos. I'm so glad they at at The Star now!

The facility is gorgeous and very clean. Added bonus if you are a Cowboys fan! Attended many high school football games and security is smooth (clear bags, no purses!) but it is VERY loud with two competing high school bands during a football game. It can be deafening.
The cost of concessions is $$$ so be prepared to spend if you plan to eat at the game/event.
Many dining options in the plaza area outside; family friendly outdoor field and jumbo-tron at entrance adds to the overall experience.

This was a great palce to see a concert. Not a bad seat in the house. (maybe the back of the floor seats). Parking was a breeze and tip the golf cart drivers they deserve it.

Had to see the new training facility. There is still a lot of construction going on but this promises to be a top attraction for Cowboy fans. Walked the outdoor field. Took it all in. Some High school games are played here. Can't wait for completion.

Venue is still under considerable construction. Parking is ample it’s just the idiots running late and drive like morons. Amazing how our public loves their horns. We were trying to leave and these morons are not taking turns alternating one out one in. Same as the adults when our game was over those standing up top bum rushed the stairs to get our seats before we ever got out of them.
Great compliments to Jerry and his group for their handicapped seating it is spectacular. EXCEPT WHEN those morons driving decide they are entitled to handicapped seating since they were late. Those morons were rude to the staff and should have been evicted. Jerry give that staff some help. Please!
We enjoyed your new place it is fantastic.

I just took my 4th tour of The Star and I am writing a follow up review. I wrote a previous review when the Star first opened. I am overall disappointed with the tours in regards to what you get to see for the amount of money you pay for a ticket. I took my 2nd tour in July and had a great tour because the players were at training camp in Oxnard. So we were able to see the War Room, Cowboys Locker Room, The Training Table (where the players eat), and the Media Room. When I took my mom in December - we didn’t see any of this. I understand why we couldn’t see the Locker Room because it is still football season and this is their private space. I get it. What I don’t I understand is that they don’t tell you that you aren’t able to see certain things and the reason for it. It is simply omitted. My son told my mom about his tour and what he saw. So naturally my mom was excited and looking forward to her tour at Christmas. When she didn’t get to see a lot of the same thing, she was really disappointed. Secondly, the tour guide was EXTREMELY rude because some players were on the practice field practicing and we had strict instructions not sure to take photos. I understand that. However we stood inside watching the practice in awe (most of the tour group was fascinated) and the tour guide flipped out - yelling that we needed to move and we couldn’t stand (inside the building looking through the glass window ) and watch practice. We bypassed the media room, the film room, the war room and the inside practice field. No reason or explanation for this. I called the Cowboys office the told them how disappointed I was. Their answer was that they don’t operate the tours another company does by the name of Legends. Well if this is the case, it seems to me the Cowboys would care about the tour company representing them. I am fairly certain that Jerry Jones and is profiting from them. Regardless l, I am done promoting the DC Star facility. After paying for 4 tours - it is not worth your money since you have no idea of what you are going to get to see on your tour. There is no consistency to this tour whatsoever. My recommendations to the Cowboys is to find another tour company to represent you as they are a disgrace to the Cowboys organization! My recommendation is for fans to tour the stadium or go see a game. Much better use of your hard earned money!

Terrific venue for an intimate high school football playoff game. Decent park8ng, excellent concessions, and all seats very close to the field for a view of everything you need to see.

Loads of restaurants in the area. My girls love the interactive virtual football games on the outdoor screen, and it is always nice to see lots of families with kids all playing together as folks gather to watch the games that are broadcast on the giant outdoor screen.
A great way to spend a bit of a weekend when it is warm and you want to be outdoors

Although there is construction still going on, it still was a fun quick stop for photos. The gift shop has Cowboys and Longhorn apparel. And if you want to play on a field they have one before going into the Statium.

We came here with a Dallas fan and had to do the practice facility tour, and I have to admit, even for a Bronco's fan it was pretty cool. As you can imagine the facility is a working office and training center so be prepared to be told to stay against the wall or put your camera away when staff or players come by. They pack in a lot of great facts and information into the 1 hour tour. You have plenty of chances for selfies and photos, but do expect to keep moving, you won't linger in any area too long. They have some great history throughout the tour and you get a chance to see the Superbowl Trophies and rings. Our guide was delightful and made it a fun experience. You'll see everything you saw on Hardknocks if your a fan of the show. Worth the price of the ticket.

Wow, and I thought experiencing high football in the Star Center was great! This was a world class venue for a high school track meet and it did not disappoint. Talk about athletes and patrons getting used to playing in and watching high school events, respectively, in a venue that is work class and second to none, this is it. Frisco ISD and City leaders were wise in their bringing the Dallas Cowboys Headquarters to the community. The Star is a multi use venue with good concessions and for most any type of sporting event, meeting, conference, and I am sure at some point PBR.
As a parent of two high school athletes playing in the Frisco ISD, I am in awe of the venues our kids have the opportunity to experience. We could only dream of playing in these types of venues in my day... I have to pinch myself when I am in the venue. So kids run like the wind, oh my apologies, run like the A/C...

Seriously $33 to get in $28 for kids...come on it's a practice facility. Also you will get harassed by staff if you aren't interested in the tour and you come near the Building..what do they think they are housing the crown jewels? Come on man..

We LOVED our tour guide - she was upbeat, knowledgeable, and very friendly. She showed us around the building and the different artifacts they had.
Reasons why I rated it a 3:
- It's $32 to tour the place. I think $10 would have been too much for this tour.
- We didn't get to see the locker rooms because it was the players' day off and one or two decided to come in.
- We didn't get to see the indoor stadium because they were holding a private event
- We didn't get to go on the outdoor field because a few players decided to come in on their day off.
- Lastly, we are not crazed fanatics, by any means. We went on this tour as part of a small team with work. They asked us to ensure we didn't take any photos of people walking around (players, workers, etc.) and we were incredibly respectful of this ask. Though there were several moments where the tour security guide got strange about us looking at the artifacts on the wall. His behavior to our calm demeanor was really bizarre.
I'm glad I got to see what parts of the facility we did see... but I would be severely disappointed if I'd spent my money on it.

We walked around the star after having dinner at Tupelo Honey. Lots going on here with families and young kids running on the miniature football field. There is still a lot of construction going on but the grounds are nice and it is very family friendly. You can even watch college football on their huge jumbotron.

Love it, fun environment for the whole family! Lots of places to eat and shop kids loved it!
Cant wait to go again! go cowboys!

Very interesting place. Lots to see and check out. Various places to eat. The football field was fun. Many people were playing, running and relaxing on it.

Was a bit overwhelmed at first of the Ford center and The Star and walking up the steps to the football field infront. Shops and a hotel decided to take the tour of Cowboys headquarters and practice facility that cost me $33. Very friendly people and host, with lots of knowledge of current and past history of the team. Amazing that all Frisco high school games are held here. Picture taking is ok but no videos and only place pics weren't allowed was the locker room. Great place to take a day trip with the family.

Very fun area for Cowboy’s fans and anyone looking for a cool area to eat and hang out. Tons of restaurants to choose from, parking garages, fans shops and football turf field to play on. Also a gym open to public to join and tours of the star available.

This was an unplanned stay as we had an issue at the house that required us to vacate for a few days.
The hotel is what you would expect from an Omni property, and it still smells new.
We stayed in a JR. Suite overlooking the rooftop bar and pool, on the North side by the mini Dallas practice field and common area. Great place to meet others, and we had our Corgis with us as well, and they ran all over the field, until near collapse.
There are very small subtleties, throughout, that unless you’re paying attention, you’ll miss. From the lights representing football goal posts, to football light fixtures in the ballroom hallways, nice touches. I was fortunate enough to run into a cheerleader practice very early one morning with the dogs. WOW!
Staff was very attentive, plenty of little eateries around there. A very solid hotel and great staff. Quiet, beds are firm to very firm. VERY CLEAN! Large bathroom in our Suite, with a common area, living room, full kitchen and hookups on the TVs for your own devices.
As you know my reviews to be brutally honest, after the first visit to the kitchen, we found used food ridden silverware in the sink, that the cleaning staff missed. There was a metal grate in the sink, so it’s possible housekeeping simply looked in the sink and didn’t see the silverware, which tells me the sink wasn’t cleaned properly, and I brought to the head housekeeper and avoided management, as it was very minor but still yucky!

This may be a great football arena, but it has horrible sound. I was on the floor, row 21 for James Taylor. It was echoing, and disproportionate. James sounded ok by himself, just with his guitar. I have been to his shows before and this venue was the worst.
The seating was cramped folding chairs zip tided together. We were all over the neighbors because there was NO room. The floor bathrooms were port-o-potties.
We were going to see Bob Seger here in October, but have decided to sell our tickets.

Visited on april with family. it was a good place to spend some time and get the NFL cowboys vibes. good restaurants and bards nearby to walk, eat and drink.

Did a group tour by reservation this worked out as best option.
I liked all the historical Cowboy items on display, it is a beautiful facility.

This is a great venue - state of the art - and it is also a great area just to hang out. There are shops, restaurants and you can even pay to take a tour of the Cowboys practice area. It is definitely worth the money to take the guided tour. You get to see the locker room, workout rooms, cafeteria for players, meeting rooms for Jerry Jones & the staff and a lot of memorabilia from the Cowboys over the years (uniforms, super bowl rings, Art, even Tom Landry's fedora). I would highly recommend this tour!!!! If you don't want to do the tour , you can walk around outside, and your kids can play on the astroturf field in the front of the building.

I had a great time visiting The Star in Frisco for the first time. It's a good looking facility just like AT&T Stadium is in Arlington. I can't wait to go back when the hotel, restaurants and retailers are finished at the end of the year. The City of Frisco is steadily growing and it's located at a popular part of town close to the mall.

I LOVE going to the Star. This is my second trip and would highly recommend it. The customer service is top notch!!!

What a disappointment! You can't go inside without buying an exuberant priced tour. The jumbo tron is nice but we wanted to see the superbowl trophies.

Jerry Jones is a master of putting things together. The Star is great fun. Wonderful practice field. Grandkids LOVE to go there and run around and do gymnastics. Tons of great restaurants. Lots of variety and quality!

We had a wonderful tour of the facilities and found from our tour guides to the staff working there, were helpful, nice and very accommodating. The history even though mostly about the Dallas Cowboys the tour also talked about others, like coaches, players and teams in the entire football league that made the Dallas Cowboys who they are today.

Jerry Jones has not always done things right, but this is awesome. My family took me to the Star one weekend because they knew my love for the Cowboys. It was a great experience. There is plenty of space and parking in the garages. The restaurants all look fantastic and the area was full of Cowboys monuments. The large light up numbers on the path, the painted murals, the ring of honor are all done wonderfully. I happened to be there the night of a playoff game (not the Cowboys unfortunately) and was able to find a spot on the field and watch the last quarter of the game on the giant T.V. screen. I could have spent a fortune in t he pro shop but did not. The Nike store was cool too especially with the local high schools being represented. We did not stay and eat or do anything else, but I will be back this season to experience a game at the Frisco home of the Cowboys.

A multi purpose venue that is the heart of Frisco.. well kept and a great place to watch events .. highly recommended

We did a tour of STAR Headquarters and practice facility as a bucket-list trip to Dallas for my husband. What an amazing and inspiring place!! I enjoyed the tour just as much as my husband did. The rich history and back stories regarding the Cowboys' team was way beyond just a tour. It provided in-sight and a view that not everyone has seen or heard. It was fabulous and I would do it all over again!! There isn't a reason for anyone to pass up the opportunity to tour The STAR!! Just so you know, this is a review coming from someone who toured the AT&T stadium 2 days after the STAR and I would still give The STAR 5-stars!!!

This venue is absolutely NOT a concert venue. It's a football field. Period. James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt are wonderful performers, but their art was lost here. Having seen Bonnie Raitt at the Myerson years ago, I can say that the money spent to see her here was in vain. The concept behind this venue is nice, but the execution is horrible. Walkways behind the seating emit too much noise and light pollution into the arena area and vendor lighting on the floor is distracting. The acoustics are horrible even with curtains hung to help. There are many wonderful places to see a concert in DFW. This is not one of them.

We did the tour of the training facility, hung out in the press room and played outside in the mini field. The weather was poor but the experience was first class!

How can you pass up an opportunity to see America's favorite team in this amazing practice facility? It is high-tech, every seat a good view, a beautiful field, and the concession stands smelled so good! A comfortable atmosphere, two big screens, great food you can purchase, and spirit wear as well. Outside the Star venue, there's a football field with a star you can take a picture on as you walk in too. Every detail was thought out when designing this amazing facility. Well done!

Attended a 3 day conference! Facility was clean, staff were kind, the food offered was great! We were training for a health & wellness company and they offered thoughtful choices for food options vs. greasy fried foods! We are excited to be back with you next February!

The Star is an outstanding visit for Cowboy fans. You might get to see a lot of the Cowboy players doing what they do, practicing, eating, talking, etc. The only down side is that you are not supposed to bother or talk to the players, or take their picture. But it is a wonderful experience. Get to see so much, the actual Super Bowl Rings and Trophies, the scouting reports on players, etc. Well worth the money. The only problem right now is with all of the construction, parking is a pain and directions to areas are not well displayed. Can't wait to visit when all the construction is complete

Interesting tour of the building and memorabilia. I went on a tour with neighborhood friends just out of curiosity because I don’t care about football at all. I ended up enjoying seeing the expansive building and some of the history of our local Cowboys. It didn’t end up making me a fan but I‘m glad I saw what’s in our community.

Great place to bring the little ones tweens teens young adults adults middle age older and elderly....you can eat, dine, watch, observe, participate, read....bring a soft seat cushion for the elderly all seats are concrete unless u wanna sit on the ground and that is okay to. Every ball is played here except base ball and basket ball. At least no one attempted but even that would be fine...

We saw James Taylor and the place was a mess. Parked a mile away, roads unable to handle the influx of cars. Took an hour to get less than 2 miles from the Tollway to parking. They had plenty of ushers, unfortunately the had to huddle with each other to figure out the seating. The odd floor plan left everyone confused and wandering around. It was pretty much a mess. Loved Loved Loved James Taylor, just wish the venue was up to the task.

Love visiting The Star. Disclosure- I'm a lifelong Cowboy fan. Our tour guide Tim was very knowledgeable, able to talk history, players, and games with him. Explained all the exhibits and provided insight to the Cowboys reasoning/ logic behind it being included. The Star well represents the greatness of the organization. Went with my sister, two teenage daughters, and 10 year old son. All enjoyed it.

We were in town for a college basketball tournament in the area early March. It was my Sister who located this site. We did not take the tour of the Star as it was closed but walked the grounds. Wonderful place for all the Cowboys fans. Large jumbo screen and miniature football field with nearby shopping and food courts. It's a nice treat taking pictures of the legendary player's football jersey numbers. The visit is worth your time.

When you walk into the building, by the elevators the Cowboys Super Bowl Trophys are on display. really gets you if you know what I mean.

The Star is even nicer than the beautiful AT&T stadium. It was created with a complete standard of excellence. It is beautifully constructed and decorated. Seems like every possible detail was considered.
A dream visit for Cowboys fans! See the Super Bowl trophies, multiple displays and tons of action pictures.

Poor sound quality at the Star. Vocals were very muddy. We were not on the floor (50 yard line 2 sections up) should have been excellent but overall sound quality was awful. Traffic was crazy and folks who work there seemed to stand around more than anything. They are trying to make this venue do too much.

It was very cool to tour the facility, as a huge cowboys fan they show you cool memorabilia such as the actual Lombardi trophies.

I recently attended a business dinner and entertainment event at the Star on Ford Field. The venue is first class. The setup included pub tables, tents with chairs, sofas with chairs and plenty of places to throw and kick footballs
The food was excellent whether you eat the fish tacos, mini burgers or beef brisket.
I enjoyed the evening at the Star

Wow, what a building. 1.3B to build, like the 1.2 B stadium. Wasn't sure I would be able to take a tour, but it worked out and I was the only one on the tour, so that was cool.
Many fun things to see if you're a Cowboys fan or have an appreciation for football history. I saw some players, a couple of the coaches and a few of the DallasCowboys.com writers.
They have two fields outside with tiny goal posts, so that the kickers have to make the harder kicks, so that hopefully the regular kicks will be easier. An indoor field, workout rooms, TV and radio and podcast booths, and a really nice restaurant for the players that is open 24 hrs a day.
There's all kinds of motivational hoopla around, like the offense and defense awards for games, sayings on the walls, pictures of past players that did amazing things, like Witten running with his helmet off as a 20 ft size wall pic.
Plenty of memorabilia in cases and other places, like a version of all of the jerseys over the years, shoes, etc. One nugget that stood out to me was how the Cowboys owner bought the rights to the Redskins "fight" song when the writer sold it to him. He traded those rights for the Cowboys to join some exclusive circle which the Redskins owner had previously been denying them.
The team review stadium is amazing, with imported leather high back seats, stadium seating, and other luxuries that are better than most of our living rooms.
Similarly to the stadium, I have to ask, do we really need such lavish training facilities in the world, or, our society? I mean couldn't there have been a better way to spend all of that money?
It has brought a lot to the Frisco area, other shopping, restaurants, etc. BTW, the Cowboys gear shop is amazing, but you better be prepared to spend some money.
Definitely an incredible pace. All to worship the game of football.

Visited the Star the other evening after having dinner at one of the adjacent restaurants. I was blown away by the building, the amenities, the restaurants, and the overall vibe.
On the outside of the building is a huge screen where Cowboys highlights play and during football season they show various games live. In front of that is a full size turf football field where some people were playing a pickup game, kids were running around, and it was hugely family friendly.
All within walking distance of numerous restaurants located on the grounds as well as multiple parking garages and limited street parking. Local high schools use the indoor field for games and there are events held frequently. You can also tour the facility and avail yourself of Cowboys history.
If you're wanting a family-friendly outing with access to restaurants (even an ice cream shop), walkable, and chic, I recommend a visit. We enjoyed dinner at a restaurant and then a walk around the property. It will be on our list again soon!

We took the tour yesterday and the facility is awesome but the guy at the back of our line that works there...Justin, was very rude! Didn't get to go to the War Room as the website states. Felt very rushed!!!! They say pictures are ok but they don't give you time to take many at all...guy at the back, Justin stating "keep moving". Felt like cattle!

What an incredible practice facility for the Cowboys. Nothing but first class for the players, Cowboys fans and the North Dallas community. What is even more incredible is how The Star has kicked off more than $5 billion worth of real estate development around it. Another thing that Jerry Jones has touched and turned it into gold.

Whether you are a Cowboys fan or football fan or not this is worth a visit. Fun atmosphere and tours are available.

I highly recommend taking the tour if you’re in town for a game. Always check ahead that tours are happening that day because it could change. This facility is amazing for football fans and the tour guide does a great job explaining the history of the Dallas Cowboys. I’ve done the tour twice now and both times were a different experience. The first time we went we were there on a day where a few players Dez Bryant and Cole Beasley were in the weight room working out. They didn’t allow us to take pictures of them, but they did explain that sometimes the players will stop and talk to the groups. The second time I went, we did the same tour however there was this gorgeous woman in our group. I assumed she was a nurse or something because she was with a mom and kid with special needs. Well later in the tour she left the group to show them something in the cheerleader section. Later the guide explained that we had a cheerleader in our group. I was sad I didn’t even get a hug! Lol it’s really cool go check this place out! Oh and bring a football because there’s a field in front you can play around on.

We did not take a tour of the facility but still a great area to look around. I look forward to visiting again after restaurants and shops open around The Star.

We did not tour the star but visited the area and walked around. This atmosphere is a "Can't miss" if you are in the Dallas area. Free Parking and such a nice environment to just hang out. Great little sandwich shop in the area for a quick bite and of course shopping.

Wow, this stadium is on steroids. Easy to park your car and enter the park. Come see your favor teams play. I would like to see the food choice improve.

Toured before a game the next day. Got tickets early for the time we wanted , free parking. Can only take pictures in certain places. Many other tour groups in the building at the same time. Very interesting to hear and see what goes on behind the scene.

Awesome place for Cowboy fans. Not everything was open, but you could walk around and be able to see come of the cool Cowboy stuff.
Plenty of bar/restaurants in the area. A few shops to visit. Has the big field where the kiddos can run around on the field. We tried to go inside of the Ford center, but a game was going on an you needed a ticket to be able to enter. Got in the door and could see it a little bit, but had to leave.
So much fun, we went back at night to see the nightlife.

Really - this is the epitome of marketing hype which probably appeals to a lot of people because it is a busy place.....

It was awesome to play on the field with family and friends during this trip. Perfect view to the jumbotron.

Awesome place to watch a high school football game. Large screen and great seats. If you can't go inside, the outdoor football field with the outdoor screen and multiple screens on the side. The Cowboy logo shop will open soon. Great place to take pictures and the kids to run around. Check the lights at night at the Cowboy Headquarters, they are beautiful.

The Star is absolutely amazing. The facility itself is awesome. As a Cowboys fan, the tour was more than I ever expected. Your guides immerse you in the organization from start to finish. You are literally part of the organization. Player sightings are common and Jerry does a nice job of making it fan friendly.

Took our 4 kids on a Friday morning and had a small group. We saw players, coaches, the War Room....everything! More pricey than the stadium but we really enjoyed it.

It is Christmas time and all the restaurants are very busy except for the Club. With reservations we waited and the restaurant was empty. They are short staffed so waitresses have too many tables to wait. We order an appetizers and we’re all most finished when the manger came by and took our plates. He did not ask if we were finished. If fact we never talked to him. It was very weird.
Wake up this is the reason as a members we do not eat at the club.

A must tour for any Die Hard Cowboy fan. Loved the facility, tour guide was very knowledgeable. Great facility, loved to see where the team hang out, practice, weight room, etc. Again I would recommend this tour.

The Star in Frisco is a great night out to go and have dinner and take in all the sites. If you're looking for a wide array of restaurant options, the Star has it.

Great tour of the Dallas Cowboy’s practice facility. The guides were informative and entertaining. Highly recommend if you are a football fan.

Really? A practice field worthy to be a stadium. Get it Jerry.
I stopped by at night because the bright lights of the outside screen kept grabbing my attention

3 of us booked through Star Sports Tours to watch the cowboys play the Redskins on Thanksgiving. It was a fantastic trip. Stayed 2 nights at the Omni Hotel at The Star. Rooms were immaculate with great views. On the eve of the game, the Cowboys players stay in the same hotel and in the morning, we rode the elevator down with some of the players. Very cool. There is a very good selection of restaurants, and a great Cowboys store is you need any team memorabilia.

I would definitely visit The Star again and its amenities, especially if you're a Dallas Cowboys fan. I would highly encourage a tour of the home of Americas team.

Impressive combo of Cowboy's practice facility with a team museum and pricey shops and places to eat.

Took the star tour Saturday January 14 th at 6:45. Our whole group was blown away by
impressive this facility was . The tour was very thorough , all of the cowboy memorabilia is there and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and cowboys history. Only thing was you not allowed to take pictures of allot of things.

Had such a great time. Great experience with many restaurant options and beautiful Christmas decorations.

I was in town for the FCS National Championship football game and stayed at the Omni next door. While planning the weekend of football with a friend I booked a tour to the Star for us.
Neither of us are Cowboys fans, but we both were impressed with the tour, and the history / stories you hear while on it.
I would highly suggest taking the tour if your a football fan... A great way to see the behind the scenes of a football operation.
One last note to ad.... I read some reviews that said you couldn't take pictures of may things.... I am not sure if their policy changed, however we were allowed to take pictures of anything we wanted except for the locker rooms because it is an NFL policy and the players or workers.

This is a great place to just visit and check out the shops and then enjoy lunch or dinner at the many great restaurants!!!

The Star is a great place to eat, shop and have fun outdoors, with several good restaurants, including Liberty Burger and East Hampton Sandwich Co, both of which are excellent! Bring the family and a football to throw and you'll have a great time!

This place was way over priced, the acoustics were awful, and most importantly over sold. Too much light pollution, awful echoing. And not a single person who works there can direct you where you need to go. The staff is rude, very limited food and drink options in the venue. I don’t care who plays here, I’ll never return.

I am not a Cowboys fan but this place was amazing! The tour guides were very informative very interactive and we went during a time where there was actually players walking through out. Of course you can’t yell or ask for autographs unless they engage you But some of the players were kind and waved and smiled. When my team isn’t playing - I’ll cheer for the Cowboys!!

We went on opening day to see Frisco's Lone Star High School play. The place is fantastic! Lots of options for concessions was really nice!

An absolute must if you are a Dallas Cowboys fan! Get all of your gear and Dallas Cowboys' favorite items here! The highlight is that we always catch the players leaving practice and they will sometimes stop and sign autographs or wave at you! We saw Lucky Whitehead today and was lucky enough to get Romo's autograph when we visited back in December!!! Love my boys!!! #DC4L

I was very excited to check out the new Dallas Cowboys headquarters. This place is state of the art and high-end all the way. It must be the nicest and most luxurious campus in the NFL. The tour is very interesting and we did see several players while we were there. We even saw some Draft -prep happening in the war room. If you are a Cowboys fan and in the area, I would skip the ATT Stadium tour and hit the Star instead.

I attended the Major League Lacrosse championship game at the Ford Center at the Star. This venue is a very pleasant place to watch such an event. It is the Dallas Cowboys' practice facility and has a 100 yard indoor field. While it was 90+ outside, it was very pleasant in the air conditioned facility. The seating is along both sidelines and it is large enough to hold a pretty good crowd but you are not very far from the action in any seat. It is not difficult to get to and parking availability is good.

The STAR is a neat place t visit. Home of the Dallas Cowboys HQ. Great tour of the facility and neat restaurants all around the facility. If you like the Cowboys and you like to eat good food, this is the place!

Doesn’t say much about Frisco to have this as second highest attraction.
It’s literally just halls of pictures and some of their rings as stuff.
Other cities this would literally be just at the team’s stadiums for free not $25 it’s own museum

Went here to see James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt concert (first music act). Was new and full of things to see. Don't take a purse, you won't be allowed to enter. No bags were allowed inside and a woman in front of us in line was sobbing (literally) at the thought of walking all the way back to her car. The photos of the past and present Cowboy Players near the ceiling was neat to see as we entered the front doors. The food was less expensive than I anticipated-and very good (large combination nachos for $12) and was more than my husband and I could eat. The price of beer was expectedly expensive ($8 a beer). All was perfect until we were seated. The seats on the floor level are cheap, thin, super small plastic backed and metal frame fold out chairs that resemble chairs from WalMart. They are placed so close together that no average size adult can be comfortable. The floor seating could have been planned better-especially since the seats on this level were most expensive. I will definitely go back for a concert, but will sit in an upper level. Also, be prepared to walk (I wore comfortable shoes by accident) to your car. We had to park about a mile away from the facility.

If you're a football fan or a Cowboys fan, this is a nice place to visit. Nice area, with many activities to do as well. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

The Stadium is very nicely done. All modern amentities and very comfortable. All the viewing is good and the tour is very well done as well. Have been here for high school football, cowboy team practice and a concert. It is one of the cleanest stadiums I've been to and the grounds inside and our are well kept.

what a great area for all - family or friends or dinner as a couple. Plenty of food options and other things to do - and watching a game whether it’s HS Football or college b-ball - it’s an amazing gift from Jerry Jones and Frisco for a venue that has only just begun to create its importance.
This place is and will become even more of a destination.

One thing I wish I would have known---BOOK THE TOUR AHEAD OF TIME. If you do not book the tour there's not much to see however; the shop at The Star has better prices and a lot more options than the shop at the stadium itself. Some friends of ours ran into Amari Cooper while there and he gladly took pictures with them so keep your eyes open! There is also a nice mall in Frisco that is worth stopping by while there.

Whether you are indoors or outdoors, this 12,000 seat stadium has all the extras that a fan would love. The entire entertainment area is a must see on your travels to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, especially if you are a Cowboys fan. Love the large video boards that are constantly playing, the Omni Hotel in the nearby restaurants. I even saw the helicopter take off which probably has Jerry in it! Guided tours are a little expensive at around $32. You may want to just stay outside and enjoy the facilities.

Great new place, restaurants and events. The area is much smaller so you get great seats and have fun watching them practice.

We took a tour of The Star - the official World Headquarters for the Dallas Cowboys. Tickets cost 36.00/person and this had to be one of the most disappointing sport tours I have ever been on. First of all we were told to check in at Fan United (Sports store at the Ford Center). We did and they told us to wait at the front which we did. Our tour was for 6:30 pm and about 6:35 we went back in the store only to be told we had to go to the Ford Center. We we're obviously late which impacted our tour. Our guide was a woman who was HORRIBLE! She was on such an ego trip about policing people rather than engaging people in enjoying the tour. We were told at least 10 times we could not take photos anywhere in the facility except at the entrance and on the indoor practice field. She said it was due to NFL regulations. I found that hard to be true since I took a tour of ATT stadium in Arlington and we could take pictures all over the place. Secondly, she spoke so softly most of our tour group could not hear her. She rushed through the first part as she wanted us to catch up with another group which left us on the field a total of less than 10 minutes so many people were not able to get pictures. The Cowboys have a tremendous amount of neat history (uniforms from the beginning of the team history .... but no photos allowed due to NFL regulations... yeah right! You are allowed to take photos of the 5 Super Bowl rings and Lombardi trophies. So for a whopping

Price for tour is admittedly a little high, but being that I’m not sure we’ll ever come again it was worth the price. Cowboys history is everywhere, from old phots ans items, to thoughtful displays of former moments. We even just so happened to run into a certain qb who wears number 4, he was obviously busy so we didn’t bother him but it was still a great experience to see one of the cowboys in person. I believe on some of the tours, the locker rooms are on display, but on this particular day they weren’t due to players in the building which is completely understandable. Would definitely recommend

Whole family enjoyed the tour at the Cowboy's facility in Frisco. We had a great tour guide, lots of historical info and some good humored ribbing. The place is fantastic and beautiful, as expected from Jerry Jones. Lots of things going on, so the tour is different based on what's available your day.
Definitely add 1* to the rating if you're a big Cowboys fan.
Lots of places to eat in the area.

This Cowboy's facility is amazing and what an opportunity for the local schools for football games and other events. Every detail was planned for not only the fans but the players as well. It is comfortable, there are plenty of food options and restrooms. Once they work out all the parking and traffic, it will be even better.

We enjoyed visitIng Th Star. The facility and grounds are amazing. We are not Dallas fans but loved visiting the facility and the surrounding restaurants. I would highly recommend doing the tour of the training facility. We stayed 5 minutes away so it was perfect. By your tickets in advance they do sell out especially the last tour which is at 5pm.

We were attending a concert that was to begin at 8:00 PM. We arrived early with reservations for dinner at a restaurant in the same plaza as the Star. It seems the Star was only allowing entrance through the doors on the plaza. The lines backed up across Gaylord. These were all people, including us, with pre-purchased tickets. At 8:30 PM, we were still in line waiting to get in. The lines were formed based on what section your seats were in. People with floor seats had the entire middle section of the plaza. Everyone else was either in line on the left or the right. At 8:45, a Frisco police officer was trying to help move things along and shifted some people in the line to a different line where previously the people with floor seats had gone through. We got through security (they wanded every person), but now there was noone to scan our electronic tickets. They were apparently assigned sections to scan. So those employees scanning floor seat tickets wouldn't or couldn't scan any other section. We then tried to find someone to scan our tickets, but were told to go through the doors. After going through the doors we were welcomed into what can only be called a narrow hallway that looked like a basement. Everyone was backed up in here, no one could move. It seemed that there were vendors selling beer & t-shirts and they were actually blocking the path of those trying to get to their seats. We eventually rounded a corner and were able to move at a somewhat good pace and eventually made it to our seats at 9:05. I was so thankful the concert had not begun at the scheduled time of 8.
I can honestly say, while the concert itself was fantastic, I will never attend an event at the Star again.
Oh, let's not forget, to exit the building at the end of the show, it was everything noted above, just in reverse. We did see a couple of other exit doors but security would not let anyone use them. It took us almost 30 minutes just to get out of the building. They should be embarrassed, totally not a good experience and not a safe environment.

The tour was great. Highly recommend! I would do the $40 vs the $70. I “memorabilia” doesn’t seem worth it to me and it is the same tour.
The security protocol is weird. I bought items in the team store, which comes in a clear bag. They made me take it out of the team store clear bag (which said Dallas Cowboys on it) and put into another clear bag. I said. So you want me to take it out of this clear bag and put the items in this clear bag?” Also I had a Fanny pack , which they fully inspected , but I could not wear it around my waist …I had to wear it over my shoulder. 🤷🏼♂️

OK....we go to see the reputed first concert (James Taylor) and everything is very nice at Jerry World Jr. in terms of the facilities design and comfort. There isn't a bad seat in the house, acoustics were very good and the organizers kept people moving - zero delays and enough space. That said our new Hall of Fame owner of the Cowboys isn't making any friends by charging $9.00 for water and $16.00 for a margarita. The good part is we got to save a lot of money and keep our sobriety. I don't get where these people complain about sound quality - everything was fine. Clearly they have very little experience at outdoor events...should have been at Willie Nelson's picnic in Gonzalez forty some odd years ago...there was a reason everyone was stoned.

Decided to check out The Star as I follow my Minnesota Vikings to Dallas. The Star shines very bright.. With neon and led lighting that is. Feels like an electric oasis in the middle of suburbia.
Cool mini field for photos, a few restaurants. No real shopping, but I guess that's ok. Glad I came!

I took the 90 minute tour of the Dallas Cowboys new HQ, practice fields and indoor field used by High Schools in Frisco. There is NO OTHER NFL or Professional team who has a HQ like Jerry's. Good restaurants there with plenty of parking for FREE. Check it out.

Visited The Star at Frisco Friday Night! Was great to see the kids playing on the turf outside during the HS game.

Would definitely come back again a ton of information was provided by the tour guides. Simply and amazing facility.

The star have so much do from ford central, cowboys fit , Nike store , cowboys store, Headquartered and restaurant and so much more .

If you are a Cowboy Fan this is an area to come see. Some days there are practices you can get into, others not. The buildings are larger than life. But you know Jerry Jones. Worth a visit if you can get by.

As Cowboys fans, we were hoping this would be really cool and we'd get to see these awesome things. I was hoping for history of the team, and a knowledgeable tour guide. Really we got to see some cool stuff, like the draft room and the practice field. We also got to see the trophies and the old uniforms, but mostly it was boring. Our tour guide didn't seem knowledgeable and it was more expensive than the stadium tour and not as cool.

Beautiful, clean, great food, music, and stores. Spent the entire day there. Family friendly experience.

The STAR is becoming a great place to go see concerts, local football and I believe soon arena football. THe complex is not fully developed but there will be a lot of restaurant to hit up. Parking was a nightmare for my first concert but not all the lots have been built and logistics figured out. Jerry has done it again with another great area to visit.

As a Dallas Cowboys fan - we absolutely loved it! To see the history, combined with the new and up and coming was awesome. It was a bit sad you couldn't take pictures of the players on the practice field (we were lucky enough to go when they were practicing) but I get it. We got to see them all so that was a treat itself. And they said we couldn't talk to anyone if they passed us in the hall - but hey if they talk to you? LOL - Charles Hailey stopped and talked to our whole group and took pictures with us. And Joe Looney stopped and chatted too. We did see some of the coaching staff too but we abided by the rules and just smiled as they walked passed us on the steps. I saw some people reviewed that they were disappointed with the tour - but I can say we were not. We loved it!!!

We were beyond excited to experience The Star during our trip for Sunday Night football. After researching the internet, we were blown away upon arrival. Literally everything you could possibly want is here. Kudos for supplying such an amazing experience!

The Star is a great local and tourist destination! Done very well! Great dining choices and the mini turf field and jumbotron complete the experience for Dallas Cowboy lovers!

Ok to be fair to the reader of this review, just know me and my family are life long Dallas Cowboys fans. So, we "oooh and awed" over almost everything. We recently watched the Amazon special about the Dallas Cowboys and almost all of the show was filmed at the Star, so it made it extra special. We knew exactly where and what things were.
I did feel like they were reaching at times to fill the hour of the tour. I didn't really care about Charlotte Jones's marble floors contribution to The Star and the color of the carpet and how it changed from blue to beige as you moved along the tour. They actually pointed that out several times through out the tour. I guess Charlotte Jones wanted to make sure the carpet and marble was mentioned??
But the locker room was cool to see and the gym etc. We didn't see players, we had just missed them. But that's ok. Had they have been there, we would not hae been able to see the locker room. It wasn't the most exciting tour we've been on, but as a fan it was fun to have our picture taken on the star.
It was a little pricey.
I can say I did it, I probably wouldn't do it again. Still a fan though! :)

Dallas Cowboys Practice Field with all the trimmings. Large indoor field and an outdoor turf field for the kids to play on. Start your own game! Also used for sitting to watch games on the big screen. Gift shop with everything Cowboys next door. Then across the street are all kinds of shops and restaurants. You can surely find something you like. Also down the street are the Hall of Fame members on display. Lot's of parking. A must see.

If your a cowboys fan or not this is just a great visit from the astroturf and jumbo screen playing past games and seeing the cheerleaders to the football field inside or out. A great history of America's team...
Also, it is still growing, a number of very good restaurants and shops. An yes, the Frisco ISD gets to play on this field.
A number of hotels on the property.....

Stopped by today to check out the new facilities! Very impressed! Our tour guide was awesome and it was just the three of us on the tour! Photo taking is restricted but we could take pics in certain areas! Since it's super bowl today we got to go in every area since few were on site! Awesome venue for the cowboys and athletes in High school in Frisco

Bob Seeger concert was 1st time there. Concert was fabulous, but I think it had to be there 1st concert. the layout (entry & departature) was terrible. 2nd time was Texas tech Spring game - that was what the place was made for!

The new home of the Dallas Cowboys.....wow! This is a must see and a fitting tribute to the history and current Dallas Cowboy organization. If you are a fan, go, if you are not a fan, go anyway! It's worth the time!

Good ole Jerry Jones knows how to take care of his fans. Huge TV screens everywhere, showing the team playing resent games and best plays 24/7. Beautiful events going on all the time. Practice field always has sometihing goin on. We were there Sat. Evening March 19th and the Dallas Opera company was there on the practice field. Sound was Amazing, PS. take a lawn chair and money to get in. The Complex isn't near finished, but Wow! It is going to be awesome! Even apartments will be built. Yes J. Jones knows how to smooz Dallas even though Jones doesn't keep his team going with everyone leaving the team. Good business man, no bueno team owner. Dallas does love them some cowboys.and the complex is extravagant and every detail attended too! Wished JJ was with his team!

This is the most beautiful indoor football facility, except Cowboy Stadium, of course, that a high school player can ever hope to play. Instant replays on the big screen and live action on the outdoor jumbotron make this an amazing place to visit. It's first class all the way.

Had to check it out, paid for the tour which is 110% worth it! Better than the stadium tour as hard as that is to believe. Go through the practice facility lots of historical artifacts, the meeting rooms, locker rooms, simply incredible. I was awestruck.

Let me say from the beginning that I am not a Dallas Cowboys fan. However, this place was awesome! Tons of memorabilia and history. It was truly worth the money to take a tour. What a fascinating opportunity to see behind the scenes of an NFL teams practice facility

Purchased a tour of this facility and had a great time. The tour lasted a little over an hour and we went through much of the facility seeing all kinds of pictures, rings, trophy's, workout facility, and history as this is the World Headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. I especially liked seeing all the uniforms of the past and the history of how the Cowboys got their name and place in the NFL. You are able to see out to the various practice fields as well as the indoor field and can take pictures on the star in the indoor field. Around the area many new buildings are in the works and once completed there will be a number of retail shops as well. At the present time there is a pro shop that has not only Dallas Cowboys items but all the various professional sports and college teams in or around the metroplex as well as high school items from the different Frisco schools.

We visited with a group on a crazy rainy day! The young lady who greater us was awesome and shared her outstanding resume! Our individual guide was okay! The practice field inside was nice as were the locker rooms and a beautiful chandelier in one of the office building! Another impressive area is the Frisco City Park outside The Star! The price of tickets for our group was $25.00 per person! I really like the area at night just to grab dinner and walk around!

A New York Cowboys fan here- I was very impressed with the facility and tour. Our guides were fantastic. Shout out to Amy and Tim for their enthusiasm, fun anecdotes, and impressive knowledge of all things Cowboys! I recommend taking advantage of the portions of The Star you can take pictures of. No, you can't take pictures of everything but that shouldn't hinder your desire to tour the facility. The artwork is beautiful and the fields are breathtaking. Took us about 2 hours total to tour. Worth the trip for sure!

A great venue for high school football - in the heat of August or the chill of the UIL Playoffs. Individual seats close to field in two stacked seating tiers. No truly bad seats. Acoustics are ok - noisy/cavernous but not overly distracting. Parking is free - multiple dining options are within short drive. Worth a visit/tour in its own right.

First time at The Star of Frisco. Was there to see the Dallas Rattlers Lacrosse Playoff Game, and the night was excellent. Parking was good, loads to be before the game, the stadium was very good, I not think there is a bad seat in the house. The sound system was good, I was a little surprised by the size of the "Big Screen" behind the goal. It was a good size, don't get me wrong, but with Jerry's World 2, I expected it to be HUGE, it was a decent size.
I had 2 minor areas for improvement.
1) The numbering for the seating, the cement column said "106", so we expect that the whole area there was 106. So, we go to the next one, 107, and we're at seat 20 of 20 (we had seat 1 and 2), so we actually had to enter at the 106. I also heard many others in my area if we they knew what section this was, so I guess I was not the only that had to second guess it. Simple solution. Sign for 106 points to the right, Sign for 107 point to the same, on the same cement column.
2) The concession stand is very confusion as to what register is open or closed. There was probably 10+ people behind the counter, however, most were helpers, to get stuff, So, you see someone standing by a register, and, sorry, that register is not open. Please make it clear what is open and closed. Very simple to do.
So, excellent venue, will definitely go back, and an enjoyable night had by my son and I.

Went with tween boys. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the impressive facilities. My only criticism is that the experience felt rushed.

Went to see Bob Seger concert. The floor seats were to darn tight. Lines for shirts way to long. We moved to a closed off area on the second floor. Place was a zoo leaving

I was stunned at the details in this facility! Any diehard Cowboy fan will love the tour that is a trip down memory lane and a glimpse at the future all in one. Hal, our tour guide, was excellent and really took his time. We were lucky to be there when the team was away because we were given greater access for photos (phone pics only…no DSLRs) including a rare photo-free trip inside the opulent locker room.

We were able to get into the Club upstairs. The food is excellent and the ability to watch the cowboys practice from the restaurant is so memorable.

Nice tour even if a bit pricey Toured following the FCS championship game. Easy access knowledge guides.

This is an incredible venue. Cowboys practice facility (indoor and outdoor), great bar, great restaurant, great service. I visited here recently with a colleague who has a membership at the club. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. Jerry Jones did it up right!

Had the opportunity to attend a Reedy High school football game at the Ford Center/ The Star, the new Dallas Cowboys practice and Frisco ISD playing facilities. Wow! I was impressed with the design, the entry alone was enough to keep my attention for several minutes and move me to memories of playoffs and state championship games. Now, please understand that was years ago and I had come to watch my son play and for a fleeting moment felt like I could don on a uniform and then my youngest son brought me back to reality! Dad you're not moving what happen? Nothing just day dreaming!
The Star is an amazing multi-functional facility with great amenities, such as sufficient parking, comfortable seating, an extremely large video screen to watch replays, and concessions everywhere you turn. Plans show several retail and restaurants coming soon and other family attractions to enjoy.
I am looking forward to attending several more high school football games and other events. Great place, comfortable climate, and easy to get in and out to Hwy 121 and or North Tow-way.

If any of your conferences are here, it's a great place to hold them! Very accessible and a great venue for an event! Food was expensive, but always is in this type of place!

Our family went to the Star and enjoyed every moment. We attended a Frisco High School event and also had dinner at a restaurant. The atmosphere described fun and excitement. So many adults and kids were playing on the "mock" football field while scores of people were looking on. There is plenty of parking with a wide selection of great restaurants all around. Treat yourself and go there when you have an off evening.
Took the full tour for an hour and a half. Very impressive facility. Interesting to hear the stories and history surrounding this very recognized team. A must for any Cowboy's fans.
