So glad we made the time to go!

By Missy G |

Very informative self guided tour. Allow for at leadt two hours. There was a sense of reverence in certain areas of the tour. Very beautifully devorated & staged for authenticity. would definately recommend as an outing for adults and teens. We really enjoyed hearing how the replica came to be & viewing the model. Our only disappointment was the pricing. We were told $39 per person and we were charged $50 per person, paying at the door. Make sure to ask for the audio equipment that describes what you're seeing. They didn't offer to everyone. You have to request.

Merry Christmas???

By Linda P |

I couldnt give this exhibit more than three stars due to the fact that it was decorated for Christmas. The Titantic sailed in April, not December. The decorations made me uncomfortable, as did the gift shop at the end. It should be about honoring the victims of this horrible tragedy, not embellishing it.

Spring break vacation

By Susan S |

Wonderful museum! The audio descriptions were very interesting and so helpful for my blind husband. It was so cool when we pulled up there was a real orchestra playing out front. They give each person information about an actual passenger on the ship and then we got to see at the end if they survived or not. Well forth every penny.

Not to be missed

By rita829 |

But what a beautiful experience. I thought it was the usual reconstructions like there are many around, but instead it was a nice surprise with the possibility of interacting.

There are many recordings of the original voices of the survivors as well as photos and other finds. At the entrance you are given the name of a passenger or crew member with a brief story of their life. You have the opportunity to experience the various inclinations of the sinking ship, as well as how much you can resist the cold by inserting your hand into one special tub with ice water. At the end of the tour you will be able to check whether your character survived the shipwreck or not.

Not to be missed

Reliving history

By Nina |

Being a great fan of the history of the Titanic, perhaps I am biased but I can only describe my visit positively
It is not the classic experience in which the facts that everyone is now aware of are narrated in 4 panels but it is a true immersion within that tragic transoceanic journey. Through photos, voices, memories and memorabilia of the time, the events of that night are relived.
The visit is very intense, full of details, reconstructions and testimonies that help to truly immerse yourself in history beyond all the narratives that have been made over the years
I really appreciated the accuracy and intensity with which this experience was recreated and I highly recommend it

A bit pricy, but large collection of artifacts to view

By WIatHeart |

Our family, 2 teens and 2 adults, toured on a rainy afternoon. It's not inexpensive, but we ended up spending several hours checking out the displays, so was a good option when the rain started and ruled out most of our outdoor options.

At your "boarding time" you are given a name and short profile of someone who was actually on the ship. At the end, you're able to find out if they survived or not.

Photos are not allowed to be taken on the ground floor, but you can on the second floor. (Though I saw plenty of people ignoring this on the first floor.)

You're able to take photos on the grand staircase on your way out. There isn't staff taking photos there, so make a friend to take your whole group picture. If busy, it is a bit tricky to get just your group and not catch someone coming down the stairs behind you. (Ended up with someone else from the party of the person taking our photo making a face in the background of every single one of our shots, so some photoshop work needed afterwards.)

If you need to get tickets in person, it's not well signed, but go to the ice cream shop counter for ticket purchase. If you have a Dollywood gold pass, there is a small discount better than you'll find in the coupon books around town, so remember to mention that when purchasing.

First class museum

By Michael P |

Titanic museum in Pigeon forge is definitely a first class museum with very detailed exhibits and artifacts from the wreck. You have a audio device on your your tour and can take as long as you like on your walkthrough. Although I got discounted tickets online I think the ticket prices are too high, it's very popular so I understand why they charge what they do but Imo it should be more affordable. With that said we did enjoy the museum its extremely well done and very interesting.

Fun and educational museum!

By Christine T |

This museum has so many original artifacts! The layout is a wonderful journey from beginning to end. Even my 10 year old, who has little attention span, was engaged the entire time. We spent about 2 1/2 hours inside, but could have spent more time.

A Must DO!

By James S |

We've seen this attraction at other locations but decided to roll the dice - We were not disappointed!!

You become part of the experience at the very beginning as you're handed a name of an actual passenger. You get to learn more about what drove them to be on the Titanic, how they may have spent their days on the ship and finally what their fate was.

This particular experience has a tribute to Autism awareness along with a special exhibit. I was impressed with the entire experience.

Well done!

By Kate C |

A wonderful experience! Very well done. Our young children liked the play/interactive area the best and were a little bored with the artifacts but still loved it overall. We were very impressed with the museum and highly recommend it!

Must See Attraction

By James H |

We drove from PA down to TN for the express purpose of seeing this museum and we were not disappointed. Whoever curated each exhibit did a fantastic job of explaining the story behind Titanic's design, passengers, crew, voyage, and sinking with the artifacts, exhibit panels, and hands on activities. It took us three hours to view everything. Amazing museum and highly recommend for anyone with an interest in Titanic and/or Edwardian era history.

A definite must see if a Titanic fan

By Keep Life Simple Allan |

The Titanic museum was a excellent place to visit. You start and get a boarding pass of one of the passengers and see if they lived or perished. The self guided tour was very educational. There is displays and artifacts that were floating on the water from the Titanic. Easiest way to get tickets is on the cell pone. You still have to wait in a line to use a computer anyway to get tickets.

By Axl |

Visited a while back ago but I love it, it looks really good the thing that looks like the real titanic is the grand hall!! 🤠

A great way to bring history to life!

By Kevin L |

We combined this with the Dolly Stampede, and everyone in our group (21-70+) enjoyed it. Actual artifacts from the ship are amazing, and the whole setup was impressive, the grand staircase is impressive, and we enjoyed the decks at various degrees (80 degrees, crazy), and the "view" of the iceberg with 29-degree water you can touch really brought home how cold it was for those going in. Like other museums (Holocaust,WWII, etc), you are given a card with a passenger or crew member's name, and you can find out if they survived or not. Crewmembers and third class passengers didn't have much hope...

Once inside it was impressive, but won’t be going back because of long lines, reservation didn’t matter,

By Marie S |

Even with a reservation, the long line & time to get in was ridiculous.
Won’t be going back because the reservation didn’t matter.

By Janely A |

The experience was a 1000/10 me and my family had so much fun it was nice to see the history behind titanic. I do wish it was a longer tour with more story’s. Other than that it was a blast. Checked off my bucket list✔️

An excellent display at the Titanic Museum!

By Marian S |

I think the Titanic museum is a fascinating piece of our history! Not because of the disaster that happened but because of what and whom was lost. Their backgrounds, their futures (and for most there is/was no future). The maiden voyage of the ship and it being considered unsinkable. So sad. I cannot forget the sinking of the Titanic.

Important Piece of History Not to Be Missed

By Melissa Tee in DC |

This was incredibly well done and incredibly sad. They really make this "fun" though by giving you a passenger card, and you can look for this passenger in the exhibits and then see at the end how things turned out for them. the stories from actual survivors was also very moving. The recreation of the inside of the ship and the grand staircase was also pretty awesome. When you turn one corner into the "first class hallway" you can really feel how extravagant and fancy it was.

Great Vow renewal!!!

By David P |

My wife and I went to the Titanic to renew our vows on the 40th anniversary. The staff was all wonderful, our officiant was Capt Campbell and Nathan coordinated our experience and took photos for us. Everything was 5 star. The only issue we had was the professional photographer who did not get good photographs. The staircase was in low light, and I don't think she was experienced in shooting. The pictures she took came out muddy and slightly out of focus. Fortunately Nathan took great photos, and many of them so if one picture didn't come out we had several more to pic from. Captain Campbell was a fantastic officiant, he had just celebrated 50 years. I really understood what it meant to us. All in all - a great experience for us!

By Brittany |

We’ve been to a titanic museum in Vegas but they were both completely different! This one had lots of cool displays, hands on things to for the kids to enjoy.

Very nice experience

By Ginger R |

Nice experience. An interesting journey through time, well thought out with lots of interesting artifacts. Learned a lot. Ice cream at the end was delicious.

By Vanessa M |

I really liked the touch of getting your boarding pass & finding out your fate at the end of the tour. The photos from Father Brown gave you a 1st account glimpse of the titanic. I also liked how there was a separate narrative for children. I would have liked more footage from the actual wreck, but I am sure James Cameron won't allow that. I appreciated the actual recreations of the first class room & of the 3rd class room. I'm glad they mentioned that the bunker fire may have contributed to the tragedy, but I wish they would have went into a little more detail. Being able to feel the cold water really drove home what the survivors had to endure, along with the tilted decks. Also, please move the movie about the autistic gentleman closer to the model, so it doesn't feel so disjointed. A few more artifacts from the wreck would have been a great bonus. Lastly, please change the designer for your adult apparel, everything was hideous! I had to settle for a t-shirt when I really wanted a hoodie or sweatshirt.

One of the best museums I’ve ever visited

By littlejet |

This turned out to be one of the most moving, comprehensive museums I’ve been to. The museum allows entry based on reserved time slots, but once you’re in you can take as much time as needed to see everything. The artifacts, pictures, placards, tell the story of the Titanic from multiple different perspectives…from the people who designed and built it, the crew, and the passenger experience for all 3 classes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).

There are still new artifacts being discovered. The Titanic did not go straight from Southampton England to the open ocean towards the U.S. It turns out the ship went from England to France, then to Ireland before heading into the open ocean. There was a priest who got on in England, then got off in Ireland. He took thousands of pictures of the ship, passengers, etc. Some of the pictures were published at the time but most of the negatives were stored in a trunk. When he died, the trunk was left undisturbed until its rediscovery in the 1980s, and thousands of never before seen photos were published.

There was a unique display of a massive replica of the Titanic made by a young person with autism. In addition, there is a video raising awareness of autism.

Another striking experience was a room recreating the deck at night, stars shining, then containers over the railing containing water at 28 degrees and you’re encouraged to put your hand in to feel how cold it was. It’s one thing to know in your mind it was cold, but another thing altogether to get the tactile experience of having a part of your body submerged in it.

There is so much more to tell but I’m running out of space! Just GO!

Titanic visit

Awesome place to learn more about the Titanic. The artifacts are just so breathtaking. Well worth it!!! You will enjoy it.

Titanic

By Cindy T |

Excellent experience 👏 easy entrance and boarding accessible, wonderful a must do experience . Very satisfied . We will do this again .

Educational but overpriced

By Greg M |

$130 for 3 people is outrageous. It should be about $25 a ticket. This isn't the MET in New York City. To me it's a tourist trap. Shame on them. It was educational and interesting but overpriced. It took about 45 minutes to an hour. After which it leads into a gift shop for more of your money LOL.

NOT for children

By M S |

A very interesting place that gives a touch of realism and gravitas to a fascinating historical event.
Our only complaint was groups with small children. The kids were very bored with nothing to do and were ignored by parents who were looking at displays. It's hard to focus on reading large plaques with running screaming kids.

By Amy028 |

This place is one of the only places in town that is worth the money. The staff take their job very seriously. They made the visit great. The piano gentlemen was great and very friendly. We spent three hours there and did not feel rushed at all. We would do it again.

By Darrell N |

Arrived early and got to experience the titanic gift wonderful gift shop. Upon entrance we were greeted by a crew member and given a boarding pass with a members information from the actual titanic! It was a great experience with wonderful exhibits, only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is that I wish we had received the voice guide for the tour, and wish there was someone to take photos for couples and families in the exhibit. Truly a wonderful experience though and made our whole trip to pigeon forge!

Fantastic Place

By Amanda T |

Wonderful experience! I have a goal of hitting all of the Titanic museums in the U.S. We've also been to Titanic Belfast! Love these museums, especially the Pigeon Forge & Branson ones which look like the Titanic on the outside. (Orlando does not, FYI).

Love that you can take pictures inside now, glad for that change. Also played on the Grand Piano, which was very cool!

Being able to walk on the angled floor boards really hits you hard when you think about being freezing, scared to death, and trying to cling to a railing as it goes up and up and up just to delay the inevitable.

Love those interactive sections.

Smaller Groups Request

By Ktrn415 |

It was a bit crowded. I’m a huge Titanic enthusiast and I really wanted to look at a lot of the things that I couldn’t because it was very crowded It would be nicer to have smaller groups. Overall, it was really incredible though, they’ve done a great job at giving you the full experience and the staff were very accommodating.

Junior was great and showed us a 10/10 experience! I will be coming back! He was such a nice guy and answered all my questions.

Titanic was called the ship of dreams, and it was, it really was…

By jewelmyst |

This museum did not disappoint. Not only is the outside a beautiful replica of the actual ship, but on the inside in various areas as well. They do have the grand staircase, (meet me at the clock, make it count) which is a beautiful site. Throughout the museum, they have artifacts recovered from the titanic, as well as letters, written from some of the passengers and crew. There’s a lot of photographs from the day of the maiden voyage. Upon arrival you get a boarding pass with a name and a photograph of a true passenger. At the end of the museum you get to find out if your passenger was a survivor or not. There is a space where they have the water at 28° F which is what the water was the night the ship sank and they encourage you to stick your hand inside the water to see how long you can handle the frigid temperature. The entire experience takes you into the titanic to see and feel just a glimpse of what the passengers did. I’ve been obsessed with the titanic since I was an adolescent and my 13-year-old daughter is as well. She said it was one of the greatest experiences for spring break this year and she was very excited.

By sondag2010 |

The building was cool from the outside. The staff were dressed in period attire. The times group was a little large for us to all look at the titanic items and read the history without waiting for a turn to look at it. But I know the entire day was sold out. It was a nice attraction to do on a rainy day. My 10 and 12 year old girls enjoyed the museum.

Self-guided tour

By hcb |

This was most interesting, but I don't think we will be going back. Self-guide tour. Expensive and difficult to view some of the displays.

Education

By Brandon P |

Great educational experience for kids and family. Worth the time and money. I would recommend this.

By Chelsea |

We toured the museum with children and adults in our group. It was fairly crowded while we were there so you couldn’t stop and read everything. The kids liked the interactive area. Everyone enjoyed looking at the artifacts and I liked listening to the audio tour and hearing all of the survivors voices.

By Nicole C |

This place is a good time and a class act. I am a history person so I loved all the random facts that I learned about the Titanic. When we went it was also my birthday and I got the birthday package. It really made you feel so special even as an adult. As a woman you get a heavy duty crown which my inner princess loved and when you entered the room with the piano they placed happy birthday to you. It was the cutest!! A couple of weeks later when I got home they sent a lovely card. This place is fun and if celebrating a birthday I would totally recommend doing the package!!

By RyTy |

We really enjoyed our visit to The Titanic Museum. There was a lot of information and artifacts. They spaced out the crowd so it was not too busy in the museum.

By Liz N |

The tour was excellent. It took about two hours, but we could have been there longer. The information provided was very accurate. A couple of the staff told some Titanic stories. I wish there had been more of that. The audio tour was good, but the personal stories would have been better. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Titanic Tour

By Barry G |

Great information for anyone who has a passing interest in the Titanic but try not to miss any numbers for the audio tour.

Family trip to the Titanic

By F Seneca |

My wife is a huge Titanic fan and when she saw this museum we planned our family vacation specifically to visit—lived up to the expectations. Seeing many items that were recovered and some of the stories behind some of the collection gives a real sense of the history. Receiving a passenger card at the beginning and looking up your fate at the end put the tragedy in perspective. I was a young boy that didn't make it.

Very informative

By Shelley Jag |

This was so cool it’s a great look into the past and the see the actual people who were lost and who survived. We were given a persons name and bio and you got to see if you lived or died at the end.

Fun and interesting

By Debbie_Collier |

We had a guided tour which is worth the extra cost. The exhibits were interesting and the guide really helped by explaining things. I've been here 3 times, but enjoyed every visit.

Super amazing will be coming back

By Quest63004318230 |

Beyond what I expected it was amazing this is a must if you are in Tennessee
It actually felt like we were on the ship ive always been a big fan of the titanic

My bf and I loved it!

By Sarah N |

My bf and I loved this museum and we learned so much. Very well organized and moving experience. Even the staff dress in character from that time period. I will never forget what the freezing arctic waters felt like! Loved this.

By Tasmscott |

The Titanic Museum was interesting and had some good displays to give you the feel of what happened and actual items recovered. This is a self-guided tour. We thought it was an audio tour that would tell you everything with sound effects and real stories, but we were never offered a head set. Only took us 1 hour to complete. Could have been much better.

By Kathy R |

This was our 2nd trip to the Titanic Museum. It starts out as if you are one of the actual passengers of the Titanic. You are given a ticket from an actual passenger. The ticket will give a name and what class they were in. While touring the museum there are actual items from the Titanic and you learn about the passengers. At the end you find out if your person survived the tragedy. Wonderful for history buffs or anyone interested in the Titanic.

Loved the Titanic Museum

By Landi T |

We loved the Titanic Museum. Puts everything that happens into perspective. Such a. Great time.
Loved the informational and pictures of the people on the ship etc.

By Hammy708 |

This was pretty cool. If you enjoy history or really anything to do with the Titanic go visit this. Lots of artifacts to look at, tons of history. The staircase was beautiful, gift shop had the normal souvenirs you’d expect at not unreasonable prices.

For 2 adults and 1 child expect to pay just north of $90 and spend 2-2.5 hours.

Saw the inside of the Titanic and the history of some of the crew and guests aboard.

By Xavian J |

Would likely be a trip that I would only go on once. However, it was a great experience! Would highly recommend! Definitely worth the trip!

Overpriced Museum! Don't bring kids!

By Christi C |

It's a museum. There were a lot of kids running around bored. Don't torture your kids with this place. As an adult, it's somewhat interesting, but not worth the money. I don't get all the high ratings.

loved this bucket list item

By michelletapley78 |

amazing place! i am a super Titanic fan & loved every single thing about it! great gift shop. i was moved to tears several times.

Great Smoky Mountain vacation.

By Valerie B |

Great museum. Authentic dress for staff. Creates an atmosphere as though you are a passenger on the Titanic and shares historical information. Lots to see on this museum tour. Takes about an hour or more.

Interesting

By Melissa G |

We recently visited with a large family group. Ten from our group visited the museum. We all found that it was interesting. The first floor is quite a bit of reading, so most of our party skimmed over. A few of us took the time to read it, and it does take time. Upstairs is where you start to see what the kids thought was the cool stuff. We had reservations next door for the dinner theater, and made our reservation for the museum based on the recommended time it takes to move through. Our reservation at the museum was at 2:30, but it seemed to take quite a while to actually enter. This cut the time to explore the museum short. There are interactive listening devices geared for adults and children. I don't think small children would really enjoy it, though...well, depending on the child. I wish we would've had more time to explore and take photos because it was quite interesting. If you visit and plan to truly explore, allow at least 2 hours.

Parents, control your young.

By Jana R |

My husband & I were really excited for this experience. The outside of the museum was wonderful. Tickets need to be purchased inside the ice cream parlor & signage would be nice for that. Our experience was interrupted by children running through the exhibits & not being respectful, such as banging on the beautiful piano that is displayed. Having a crew member present to watch over these spaces would be nice. There is a lot of reading involved & the rooms were filled so it became tight with so many people. We have raised 7 children & have 9 grandchildren so I know kids but yet this does not seem to be of interest to today’s generation.

Tour and Lunch with Senior Center

By vjwallen |

I have always wanted to tour the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, and I finally got my chance. We had a guided tour. I don't remember the name of our tour guide; however, she was very informative and willingly answered our questions. Since I wanted to give her my full attention, I did not read the displays. I will do that, if I ever go back. I did answer a few of the trivia questions. This was fun. I learned so much about the Titanic that I did not know before. At the beginning of our tour, we were given the name of a passenger or crew member. After our tour, we found out what happened to our passenger. Mine survived. She was 33 years old, from a wealthy Jewish family in Cincinnati, never married, and was a fashion writer. It was fun pretending. From there we went on the third floor where our lunch was waiting on us. There were round tables with flowers in the middle and a small red tote bag in front of each seat. Our lunch was in our tote bags. My turkey sandwich (which was neatly wrapped in aluminum foil), Lays potato chips, and chocolate chip cookies tasted great. Before leaving I bought a souvenir at the gift shop. Everyone was so friendly. Some in our group went to each ice cream; however, since I was full, I did not get any. Touring the Titanic is worth the price, if you ever get the chance to go. What a blessing!

Very educational

By Timothy C |

Very informative, we learned a lot about the people who were on board. The only drawback is that we couldn’t take pictures of the grand staircase until we came out and at that point it was too crowded.

A fun and unique museum experience

By Adam W |

Very informative and respectful to those who died on the ship. I wish there was more models of what rooms looked like though.

The visit to the Titanic exhibit at Pigeon Forge was beyond awesome.

By John R |

This was a perfect venue for Titanic enthusiasts. The exhibits were fascinating as was the self-guided tour throughout. Especially effective was being able to experience the night air and the water temperature (28f) when the disaster occurred. The model of the great ship made constructed entirely of Legos was over-the-top impressive, especially in the way in which it was displayed. The full scale grand staircase was magnificent and certainly worthy of family photographs while posed thereon. Additionally awesome was the Titanic merchandise available in the gift shop. Especially nice was the fact that the items were all very reasonably priced and were of definite high quality. The Titanic at Pigeon Forge is for certain a must see.

Loved this!

By Ontheroadtogether2 |

I have been fascinated with the Titanic since I read a book about it when I was in the 5th grade...50 years ago...so I just had to do this and I am so glad I did. It fittingly pays tribute to the lost souls of the disaster. There are artifacts along with so many stories of the lost and their families. Especially loved the story of the Titanic Toddlers. Love how they give you a boarding pass with the name and story of an actual passenger. The 2nd floor up the grand staircase is amazing! If you are a Titanic history lover, like me, you must do this!! It will touch your soul.

Very Educational Tour

By Andrew H |

We really enjoyed visiting the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge. The staff was polite and courteous. The exhibit was well set up to tell the story of how the ship was built until its demise. However, the best part of the whole tour was toward the end when we met Ginger (Grandma) who was telling one of the stories of the only woman that survived that went into the water. We spent a lot of time listening to her tell of other stories of individuals that we never knew about. She was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about every passenger and what happened to them during and after the tragedy just by memory. She took pride in her job and that was the best part of our visit to the museum!!

Simply put, it’s outstanding!

By HJR1960 |

This was by far one of the highlights of our trip to Pigeon Forge. Allow yourself a couple of hours to walk through the maize of exhaustive exhibits and authentic artifacts about the Titanic journey.

Wonderful

By Claudia N |

Wonderful! Really enjoyed the history and the movie combined! Would definitely recommend without young children though. Self guided and lots of reading. Loved!

The titanic is always great

By Amanda W |

I’ve been to 3 titanic museums and I have to say this one isn’t the best but it was still great. I felt more rushed at this location vs the other 2 locations (Orlando and Las Vegas). This also was a self guided tour and Orlando offers a guided tour with more information. This museum still had a lot of interesting things to see and read and I’m glad we went.

Crowded

By Heather S |

While I absolutely love the whole museum, I wish they wouldnt have so many go in at a time. Makes it way too crowded to be able to enjoy each part of it. So much I wish I could have seen but couldnt bc it was just way too crowded.

Very Disappointing

By Kathy D |

For me there were way to many people. You really don't get to spend much time reading or looking at the displays. If you are behind a tour bus group, and we were behind 2, you really are limited.
The rooms are small and most groups, even ours, had about 30 people limiting space. You are given something to hang around your neck and when you see a specific number you put that number in the remote and you will hear information about that specific item. However, everyone in your group is listening to it and trying to push to see what is being talked about.
I found it very disconcerting and didn't enjoy myself at all. Espcially when you pay over $70 for 2 people it is a disappointment.

Don't take kids

By Amanda K |

It was interesting, some new fun stories that I didn't know about, and some of the exhibit was actually interactive and pretty neat. I do wish that they what time groups going through. Because that some points in the very beginning, it became very crowded to where you couldn't even read anything on the walls.... do not take your kids... just dont... they get bored you get annoyed and no one else wants to hear them

Worth A Go

By david m |

Well Worth a go, interesting with interesting little ride attraction , bit expensive I thought its only max of an hour to go round for £27

What a great, surreal experience.
We were just passing through, originally to the Hard Rock Cafe but how could we not just pop in the gift shop. Which lead to, well we wont see anything like this again, shall we go in? So we did.
Its not cheap. We paid $78US for two tickets. BUT not expensive either. And we were travelling and on a time limit so we didnt have much time to just walk around the museum at our leisure but we knew we had to do it while we were here.
You get given a listening device so you can listen to commentary as you go. Very interesting.
You are not allowed to take photos on the first floor of the museum which is silly as there is so much to see and all they need to say is please do not use flashes on your cameras and we would be able to have more memories of the Titanic. But it is still something worth seeing. There are photos in the museum, the only photos taken aboard. They were taken by a Father Brown who had been given a ticket as a gift from his dad of the portion from Southampton to Ireland, not the full journey. So he took photos and they are the only ones that survived. Its a great story. They have a replica of the grand staircase which you can walk up and down, very cool. If you are in the area of Pigeon Forge its a must see.

By Richard D |

Overpriced but go ahead and pay anyway. Interesting stuff. Actually listen to the recordings on the player the give you. The survivors input really adds to the experience. Has historical value and valid, correctly done research as well as genuine artifacts! The owner was actually the second expedition down there.

Great experience

By Brent H |

Some great photos here. We've been to several Titanic museums/exhibits. There were all different photos here, was fantastic.

By Dale B |

Very detailed and enjoyed the audio tour. Believe it if not I never saw the movie but definitely understand the timeline. I will go back and watch it!

By William A |

Amazing to see from the time the ship was built to the tragic ending. Great tribute and awesome how you can get a feel of what it was like on the ship. They did a great job with this attraction!! They have actual pieces found from the ship.

Informational and engaging, employees are top notch!

By Whitney W |

Great experience! Would visit again (in fact I’d like to go back- so much info to fit in one trip). We questioned taking our 8 and 10 year old here, they were dying to go, but would they truly enjoy it? The answer is yes! They loved it, there are audio devices for each person so you don’t have to read as you go through the museum. There’s some cool hands on things to experience and getting a ticket as a passenger and finding out your fate at the end was the kids favorite part. The best part was Rena at the end, she did an excellent job of bringing each passengers’ story to life and giving us even more details and insight.

By krystin A |

I will go back to visit. We all got cards that had a passenger and their story at the end you found out if you lived or died. Very interactive for the whole family. My kids loved the end where it was the same temperate as the night of the sinking and seeing the state rooms for the classes. Very educational but not boring at all

We were quite impressed by how well done this museum is. It was very touching to listen to the piano player. It was crowded however, along with children darting about, which made it hard to enjoy each station properly.

An adventure of a lifetime

By Rick R |

This was a great visit during our week stay in Pigeon Forge. I am handicapped and use a scooter to get around and this attraction was on my bucket list and worth every dime. I got around fairly good inside the exhibit and loved seeing artifacts from the Titanic. I would highly encourage you to visit. I enjoyed myself during the visit.

By Paula D |

This place is awesome. My son loves the titanic story and the museum is perfect for titanic lovers . The place is so much realistic and give you a lot of information.

Expensive!

By skydriver332 |

Mediocre museum, and WAAAY too expensive! Nothing really interesting to see, other than what you can look up with Google.

Fun memories

By Chantal G |

Not sure why we had to make a reservation? They made us wait out in the sun for almost an hour. Not that many people. Family memories worth the money if you like history.

A nice but sad museum

By MRBP |

It's good to see this history being shown in a museum. I felt sad and had a sense of wonder what really happened to the victims and survivors as well. Still a must see

Creative and complete

By sonya b |

Very imaginative experience. Displays of every aspect of the event in great detail and immersive. The costuming of the staff really added to the moment although more practice of the Irish accent would be helpful. Of course the building itself from the outside was awe inspiring. I was surprised at how many actually survived.

Great Family Museum

By Vivian F |

It was great! I loved the view of the grand staircase and it was inspiring to see how many people acted heroically during the sinking of the Titanic. Also, the museum has many interactive displays for young children. Definitely go if you haven't been yet!

Great trip on the big boat

By Marcia O |

This was a great experience..my daughter 30..grandson 13 and myself went on a family trip..I don't think it is for small children but definitely a great experience for older children..Everyone was so very nice and helpful. We would go back for sure !

By bigtee17 |

The Titanic exhibit was interesting. I’ve seen a couple of Titantic exhibits and this one didn’t disappoint ! I loved how they gave us a passenger card and you could see if they lived or perished. I loved how you could actually feel the cold water the night of the collision! You walk through at your own pace. Go and see this exhibit!

Titanic experience. White star premium.

By Seaside55676052559 |

Amazing experience and touching history. Demonstrated very well and delivered by the best tour guide, Peter. Very informative and made the tour interesting and entertaining. Will revisit. Up the rams.

Go at night for a quiet visit

By Janiski08 |

Had tickets for 7pm and they let us enter early. There was no one there and we had the museum all to ourselves. A great museum. I gave 4 out of 5 stars just because there was so much reading. As adults it was hard to enjoy each exhibit because the kids (6 and 9) were ready to move on. More kid friendly signage with lower readability levels that young elementary kids could read would be great. They did like the rolling questions throughout and the kid exhibits. A bonus was the ice cream shop at the end, ice cream and snacks/sandwiches were very reasonable, which is nice after spending a bit on the tickets. Rainy days they are extremely crowded and sell out so highly recommend a later night time.

By Parrfam |

It could have been good. We followed the instructions to enter. We waited in the line for quite a while and when WE entered the first room was empty. We had two minutes and then another group came in on top of us. There were sooo many people. Then we quickly noticed there were audio plaques but we were never offered or saw any info on getting the audio tour. I asked other people that were in the group that went in when we did. They said no, not offered and we all agreed we would have absolutely done audio. I don’t know why, maybe because it’s Saturday and crowded but that means this company is a selfish money grabbing org that was packing them in liked sardines. And people are way too selfish and self centered to do that. It became claustrophobic and frustrating to have people pushing and acting like they were the only people in the world.

Really bad too expensive

By Martha C |

nothing interesting for $50 it is very expensive we booked for 11 am and there were a lot of people and I just felt like I was in a discovery channel documentary there is nothing interesting for children we were a group of 6 people and no one liked it

Amazing history and architecture

By Axl |

I don’t remember exactly when we went here but I loved it and the movie it’s such a good place for history I would definitely go again

Educational Experience

By Dave L |

We made visit at 2:30pm on a Thursday in June. We bought our tickets earlier in the day. Some time slots were sold out. You should allow about 90 minutes to see the exhibit. It is setup very well. We shared a personal speaker - recommend each adult has their own if possible.

I was shocked by the temperature of the freezing water you can touch there. You understand why so many people froze to death.

By Juan O |

We are Ecuadorians Excellent enigmatic and mysterious museum is like if you were on the boat they have translators that makes the information and history of the famous titanic easier

So Much to learn at The Titanic Museum

By denisetheshopper |

My very favorite museum. Our group was 2 sets of grandparents, 2 parents and 2 kids. The interactive component, which starts when given a card that makes you a passenger on Titanic, sick you right in. The kids(11 and 6) were immersed in the adventure. Our visit was about 2 1/2 hours and we were all interested to find out if our "person" survived.

Interesting museum, too crowded to actually see the exhibits

By Courtney S |

Unfortunately, the museum staff really committed all of my pet peeves, really lowering my opinion of this place. I think with proper expectations and preparations, it would be better.

My family showed up exactly at opening to find out that the tickets were already sold out for that time period. So, definitely order ahead of time! The staff told us that they had openings for the 10 am spot, just an hour away. By the time the three family groups ordered our tickets - for each one the museum staffer telling us that the tickets were for 10 am - it was 9:20 and we decided that 40 minutes didn't leave time to do anything so we loitered around the parking area with a 1 year old baby. Not the best of times.

Turns out, museum staff can't tell time and when we went there at 10, were told our tickets were for 1030. We were told four times they were 10 which was very frustrating since we would have had time to go elsewhere.

Even when you can finally "enter", you can't. They hold you as though you are boarding the boat. It is cool but that creates a blockade as everyone enters at one time. The museum was then so crowded that there were periods of time where no one could move at all and when it did start moving, you were forced forward without being able to see the exhibits.

You are given a boarding pass of a real life passenger and find out at the end if you survived (everyone in my family did). You also have a handheld device that allows you to hear information about some exhibits throughout the museum.

At the end of the day, I find this museum poorly run in terms of them telling multiple people, multiple times the wrong time for their ticket and their artificial traffic jam was annoying (although perhaps not better than a free for all).

All that being said, I am not a fan of the history of the Titanic but my family is which is why I was there. I would absolutely go again as the exhibits and information was fascinating. Honestly, I feel you probably need to go more than once to actually be able to see everything in the museum.

Great museum

By Caroline S |

The building is really stunning and perfect for pictures. The museum is very informative and you can get a lot of information about the Titanic. We absolutely recommend the museum.

Save your money

By Vica10 |

Way overpriced for what it’s offered. Not worth the money. The only highlight was the staff member that knew details about the people from the board.

Great 2-hour tour

By pnwtoc |

I really, REALLY enjoyed this museum. Getting a ticket in the name of a real passenger and going thru the anticipation of wondering if you would survive or not is really fun and adds to the experience. Comparing whether you were 1st, 2nd, or 3rd class or crew with other family members is fun. Then when you get to the end and see the wall of names to see if you are a survivor is a climax -- especially as you notice that which class you were in greatly impacted your chances or survival. I enjoyed stepping out onto the cold "outside" deck and sticking my hand in the 28 degree water, getting on the slanted decks and holding onto the rails (they tell you how sloped it would be at different times as it was sinking), seeing the size of the 3rd class cabin and the millionaires cabins. Just a lot of fun. They do have some real artifacts recovered from the ship. The grand staircase wasn't quite as cool as I would have thought (no pics allowed almost anywhere). You don't have to be an avid Titanic fan to enjoy this.

I found it to be a bit awkward to try to listen to the audio tour while reading all the signed descriptions at the same time.

Great for a long time movie fan since 2007

By Xiaohan J |

Good stuff. Spent about 5 hours there. I am a huge Titanic movie fan. I am so glad to see the handwritten signature from DiCaprio, Kate Winslet's costumes from the movie.

Awesome

By Tracy B |

Mind blowing it was amazing to see the actual photos and artifacts from the Titanic. It's sad seeing the pictures of people who didn't make it. But definitely a must see

Rip off and a little repetative

By helstravels |

We were recommended to go here as we were told it was a worthwhile thing to spendvyou time on. It was not . Extortionate prices for what is essentially an exhibition which toured some years ago. Much of yhe information has been discussed in many films and documentaries. In a town with a lot on offer please do not waste your money here.

Save your money

By Rusty F |

Over priced under whelming, gimmicky. Save your money go to a good restaurant. Maybe good for kids but not an adult. Very mediocre.

By Deborah M |

The movie is one of my favorites, it was great to see all the beautiful clothes the women wore and the tea table was beautiful.
It reminds me of being a child and having tea with my Grandmother.
The lights and the hearing device help to make you feel like you were with the people

So fun!!!!!

By Kennedy S |

SO fun!!!! Oh my gosh this was the best! The atmosphere was so real like. There’s so much detail put into this place, it is something I would love to do again!

Very Educational

By Kathi S |

Visiting TN for anniversary and decided to check out the Titanic museum after passing by. I was worried it would be more like the movie than real life, but I was pleasantly surprised by how educational it was. Using the recorder helps you move at your own pace so you aren't rushed. I loved this stop!!

By nappster187 |

My 4 young kids all had fun following along with the audio tour and getting to the end to discover if their passenger survived.

Not what I expected in a great way.

By Matthew K |

This was a great museum experience. Very informative and accurate. The photographs and letters of passengers made for a memorable tour. I enjoyed the go at your own pace structure. I know I missed some things but would happily take the time to go again on a return trip.

Well worth your time if interested in the Titanic tragedy

By Romas2101 |

Others have thoroughly covered the museum insofar as content displayed. We enjoyed our tour and would recommend to anyone interested in this historic event. The timeline of the ship was well done with information and photos on its design and construction which aren't widely known. Explaining the passenger classes and accommodations was helpful as was the presentation of those that survived or perished. The focused explanation on the children aboard and those who survived was also a helpful, interesting feature. If you're going to be on a sinking ship, hopefully you will be among the wealthy with the best accommodations. A very high percentage of the crew did go down with the ship. Put this on your tour itinerary.

Family Travel Gem!! Titanic Museum! Pigeon Forge

By gormanw2017 |

This Family Attraction is Incredible! The attention to detail is exceptional. Real artifacts… moving accounts of the fateful voyage. Many elements are interactive. Climb and experience how steep the deck was at certain times during the sinking. Place your hand in the frigid waters the passengers faced. Smell the intoxicating sea air aroma. Listen to survivor accounts. Extremely interesting and informative.

Worth a visit

By gingermags181267 |

Pre booked tickets so no queuing
Well thought out n planned well with areas over different floors
Telling you not just about the ship but the area, workers and Norther Ireland
Staff friendly
Shop and coffee areas on ground floor
3 hours aprox needed

Very well done

By Mark B |

I thought it might be cheesy like tge Ripleys Museum, but it was very well done. It was a tribute to those in this ill fated ship. Phones at each booth telling you a story. You get a card with a passenger that was onboard and where they stayed in the ship. Very informative. At the end you find out if your passenger survived or not. I would highly recommend it. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

By Kellee K |

Wonderful experience! Great information. Informative & interactive. Lots of overwhelming information. Best tour.

Family trip

By dana |

I’ve been waiting a long time to visit this museum and it was worth the wait! The grand staircase is breathtaking! My Titanic loving children enjoyed all of the interactive exhibits, and the gift shop had a really great selection of things. The ice cream was a nice delicious treat as well. The only downside is when entering the museum it gets a bit congested and slow moving, but seems to thin out as you move along.

Amazing!

By Jessica M |

Quoted from our 12 and 9 year old “this was better than Disney!” The crew was above and beyond any expectations we might have had. “Grandma” Ginger was one of the most knowledgeable members and she spend so much time answering questions and telling stories. She loves her job and you can tell! Second shoutout has to go to a young man named Josh. Such a gifted piano player and just wonderful person. Really made our son’s day. We will definitely be returning as this place has made a lasting impression on all of us.

Don't miss this!

By 1960Chevy |

I had always wanted to see this museum and we were so glad that we went. My husband and I both loved it. Very educational and informative. One hand, it was sad to realize how many people didn't survivor. This museum is very well done.

Very informative, interesting and a great museum with learning experience's

By Carl H |

My girlfriend and I visited this Titanic Museum during our recent trip from the UK to Pigeon Forge in Tennessee and found this to be an amazing experience.

Not only is it very well presented and set out, but you get to wander through at your own pace, learn a lot about not only the Titanic itself but all the passengers of each class on board and also get to feel the cold water they were exposed too (28 Fahrenheit which equates to -2.22 Celsius) and also get to see and climb the angle of degrees from the Titanic as it sank.

One really cool thing we liked about this experience was that when starting out you are given a ticket and form relating to one of the actual passengers whom at the end you get to see their story which is very very interesting.

Not only is this a museum with genuine official artefacts from the Titanic, but it's a very very good source of information to learn from and we found this very interesting having known the basics but nothing as detailed as we can learn here.

Highly recommended to anyone who wants a day out.

By karina |

It was an unforgettable experience. I recommend the visit as a family. The people were very kind and polite. There was a lot of organization for the tourist guide.

By Elizabeth T |

Started out the tour by receiving a passenger information card so as you went thru the exhibit you could look for photos or mention of your person. At the end of the exhibit you find out if your person lived or died. Fascinating historical details, tons of actual period artifacts. One room was set up like a first class sitting room, complete with period outfits on display. You are given an audio guide to follow along for more information in each room. Each room also has a kid-level trivia exhibit, and there are several hands-on exhibits like trying to send your own SOS telegraph, and learning how to tie maritime knots.

Relaxing

By Beverly C |

Very informative. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Great artifacts and movie memorabilia and actual stories. Enjoyed it.

It was very nice

By Scenic10095712401 |

It was amazing that the stuff they recovered from the wreckage. The inside was so beautiful and the lady playing the piano was a great addition

By Beckylyn76 |

We loved it! The individual devices were a really cool touch. My husband listened to some here and there along the way, and then played them all after seeing everything. I would have liked the character thing to be played up a little more. Overall, it was tastefully and respectfully done while also being engaging for visitors. We were a little worried it might be cheesy, but it wasn’t at all.

Specifically the gift shop and ice cream shop

By Jet820105 |

The kiosk system for ordering and paying for ice cream and items. Is an absolute nightmare!!! Everyone in there was complaining about it. Just put someone on a register. Seen people walk away. Because they couldn't figure out how to order.

By Tishara |

The kids really enjoyed going on the tour. The audio device was easy for my twin 9 years to operate no problem. We also enjoyed finding out if we survived at the end.

Amazing Experience

By Julie T |

This was a very well done museum. You really got to enter into the stories, the way things looked and felt, the building of the ship, etc. It's a little emotional at times. They've created a place to remember and honor those who perished, those who survived, the heroes, the innocents, even the pets. I actually wasn't interested in going, but went because my sister wanted to. I am SO glad we went. It was a very informative and moving experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

By James |

My wife and I came to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge for our 26th wedding anniversary. After having seen and heard about the Titanic museum from previous visits to the area ,we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Staff was friendly, museum was entertaining and informative, without being disrespectful to the memories of those that lost their lives in this terrible tragedy. Yes its a little pricey...but remember you ARE in a resort area, so most things are. Buy your tickets in advance...and go see a piece of history.

Great for those history buffs

By Tim Adams |

This is definitely a one hit wonder. More of an adult adventure, they need a few more areas for pre teens. History buffs will love this.

Not impressed

By Dawn S |

After reading reviews and some saying 'you need to see this'..... we finally went and not impressed. There are quite a few replicas of items lost, detailed sections of the ship and lots of photos of survivors with their stories. The replica of the iconic stair case was nice but the only thing that moved me was near the end when I saw 'the wall' with the survivors on top but the larger portion was below with the many more that lost their lives; very moving to actually see all those names in one spot. p.s. It is located in the midst of 'tourist ville' and can be quite crowded inside depending on when you go; we went first thing when they opened and still had some crowding.

By Randy G |

Not bad. Dobt go with kids probably under ten. Theyll be bored, and as a lot of the attractions involve reading lots of text you wont get the full history. Also, not a large recreation as the outside depicts, however the few spots that are recreated are cool to see

By brenda l |

Was not disappointed in this attraction despite the higher price to enter. We purchased tickets in advance and that is highly recommended for you to do. We walked right in after receiving instructions and given our headset to listen to various areas of interest. You are also given a card of a passenger on the Titanic to follow at the end of the tour.
The museum itself is beautifully done. The information provided is informative and the end of the tour was unbelievable. We were amazed at the reality appearance of the bridge. Icing on the cake was the information of the replica done. Nice gift shop with reasonable prices as well
The only thing I would comment on is the beginning of the tour. We were sent immediately in to the first area but we were distracted by the employee who told us to enter She was giving an overview of everything to the other people entering around the same time as we were but we were not given that overview. Not sure why she didn’t hold us back and include us in the presentation as it was quite loud and hard to hear our headsets

Lots to look at

By nana |

Very interesting lots to look at and displays was great. Learned things I didn't realize . The pictures of the people was on board. Names displayed of all passengers.

By Kathleen M |

What a great experience. Anyone who loves facts about the titanic while enjoy this museum. Loved learning about the people who were on the ship.

All things Titanic

By Sherpa32544135056 |

This was an awesome exhibit for the Titanic lover, whether it’s historical or the movies. Lots of information to be had. Really cool being able to walk up the Grand Staircase. I was also very moved by the story behind the Lego model and it was great.

By roxanne h |

It was the attraction I was most looking forward to on our vacation and exceeded my expectations. We loved everything from the museum, shop, and even the Titanic banana split at the creamery.

By grammyK2763 |

This is a well done tour and museum of Titanic memorabilia. You get a audio player and they have replica parts of the ship-staterooms, bridge and grad staircase

By jjaviles |

Interesting to know more about TiTANIC
The comfortable entrance, give you a spoken guide in your language
For yourself to be your guide, it is impressive especially when they recreate the moment of impact and especially when they make you touch the water at the temperature that was in the
Dreadful moment, there the cabins and especially the recreation of the staircase

By tmpnqn |

This is an extremely interesting and well done museum. We mostly went because it was raining but we were so glad we went. When you go in you get a card that describes a passenger. As you leave you find out if your passenger survived or not. They have the only photographs that were taken by a priest who got off the ship in Ireland. They have a replica of the grand staircase as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great Titanic experience and insight

By Trail50159259734 |

If you’re interested in the history and the details of the titanic they did a wonderful job on this museum. There’s adult self-directed tour. And they also had kids tour and activities for them. Give yourself about an hour and a half half.

recommendable

By Zan H |

A lot of history, very organized, they have translators for many languages and that is a plus! I went with my mom and she loved it.
The journey is around an hour and a half.
I recommend the visit for teenagers and adults

Fantastic

By Joseph Y |

Fantastic and very well thought out museum. Learned a lot. Especially like recreations of titanic rooms and hallways on second floor

This is a great attraction for the whole family

By Susan |

Loved this! I was prepared for this to be a so-so exhibit, but it was so much more. We all know the main story, but this was interactive and so very personal. Everyone gets a card at entrance with a passenger/crew name and little bio-then at the end you find out their fate. There's quite a bit about the children who were on board and exhibits specific for children visiting. I think everyone would enjoy this. VERY MOVING!

By Christopher A |

A great review of a historical disaster. You will enjoy it even if you are not a history buff. Walking through that night and how it touched everyone's life.

By Casey B |

My seven year old was very excited to visit and it did not disappoint her. The museum was very educational yet fun. They have the phone type things you listen to as you walk thru but they have a kids version of the recordings too so she loved that.

soooo. cold.

This will make you think of the actual people that this happened to. This is a great historical place and this country needs more of these. Not everything is Hollywood.

Very moving history and an excellent 26 foot replica of the Titanic made out of Legos.
A must see while in Pigeon Forge.

Loved it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to this very well done museum- It was very informational and interesting- the layout flowed very well- you get a name card upon admission and a brief history r that person- then at the end you get to find your persons name to see if you survived. There was lots of things for small children to experience hands on as well. Loved it!

Worth Going

By Sarah R |

Worth the time and money! My family and I loved it! Recommend going! Gift shop is a little over priced and ice cream shop is good

By Megan M |

Great museum! With so many things to do in Pigeon Forge, I’m so glad my teenage daughter and I chose to do this one! Such a great presentation of history, artifacts, and stories of the passengers. The self-guided tour audio made it easy to walk through the museum at your own pace. The docents in costume made it even more authentic. Best deal in Pigeon Forge!

By tpinnell62 |

Adult admission is not cheap so be sure to go a couple hours before closing so you can take your time and really read and review all the museum has to offer as some of the artifacts are actually from the titanic. The music they pipe out in the parking lot is beautiful we wanted to hang out just for the music.

The Experience, Yes. The Staff, No—Except Ginger :)

By GodlyMommy |

Visiting for the history is the goal (with a few decent photo ops, only allowed on the second floor, which they were pretty adamant about). With historical artifacts and information, this is a great stop to learn a little more about the tragic event. I wanted to give it three stars, because most of the employees were NOT friendly AT ALL. One in particular, upon entrance, was quite hateful. They were all matter-of-fact, brash, and cold. The ONLY employee that was super friendly and helpful was Ginger on the second floor in the "fate" room. She is a wealth of knowledge about the passengers' lives, and she conveyed the information in an ecstatically amiable manner. Thank you, Ginger, you made this trip much more enjoyable and informative!! Something we learned from her - while the movie emphasizes the good vs. bad for Hollywood entertainment (violence/fighting), the event itself involved none of that. In fact, people helped one another and sacrificed for one another (despite their social status/class). Several families sacrificed themselves in order to stay together until the end. There were also no gates that locked anyone in; any gates that were on board were only waste high, so there was ample means of escape (as much as possible, anyway) for everyone. So, don't let Hollywood's fake melodrama deter from historical fact.

A very emotional experiance. What a wonderful tribute to those lost.

By David |

This is a must-do event. I didn't know what to expect when we arrived. The employees are a big part of this and did a wonderful job. It takes about two hours. Near the end I noticed my wife was in tears, overwhelmed by emotion. If you want to feel what it must have been like inside the ship, this might be as close as you will get. I learned so much about the Titanic and I thought I knew everything about it. Do yourself a favor and check out the Museum.

Family experience was awesome

By Andrea T |

It was so well done so professional just awesome I would have loved to have music playing all the way through, but other than that, it was awesome

By Brooke R |

5 of us ages 14-65 and we all enjoyed this museum. They gave us each a card of a person on the ship and their story. At the end we got to discover if they lived or died. Very knowledgeable guides throughout the tour. Excellent information. Our favorite was the area where you got to experience the temperatures of the air and water the night it sank.

Needs Improvement

By Lee K |

Could be better. The actual displays and set up is fine, quite enjoyable, but the thing I would change if I could would be the atmosphere with guests.

This is a memorial of those lost as much as history etc and it would be nice if they had museum people placed through the route asking people to be quiet and respect the subject or something to respect the solemness of the sinking and loss of life. When I went there was screaming kids, loud talking people, laughing and joking around and just took away from the experience.

I know it is hard to control people and kids but an announcement at the beginning and the couple of museum workers on the route of the museum along with some signs saying shhhhh would help cut that down. Iven been to the traveling exhibit and went to it in Vegas too and it was quiet and respectful.

Best tour ever!

By Karen G |

Our experience to the Titanic Museum was awesome! It was much more than we expected and spent many more hours inside than we expected.
Loved the idea of our passport with a real-life passenger person to learn about. Would love to do the tour again one day with more family and friends.

Not really worth it

By Princess8489 |

Its kinda expensive, its about basic, what you would expect from a museum. But they take a picture of you and the price for a picture is outrageous. Especially since theyve already printed them out and theyre just trashing them if you dont buy them. Its fine to do it once but its not something id ever do again. Its too expensive. Ended up being almost 100$ for two tickets. And then they want you to buy a 40$+ set of pics of yourself.

Family fun

By NorthStar46191373177 |

Titanic Museum Pigeon Forge Admission Ticket

By Angkor Silver Travel |

Experience the majesty and tragedy of the Titanic at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge. Step aboard a faithful replica of the iconic ship and explore its history through immersive exhibits and interactive displays. With your admission ticket, embark on a journey through time and uncover the stories of those who sailed on the legendary vessel.

By feenix21 |

I’ve been a few times before and it’s always a little different.
I would have liked to see the continuation of the rooms flooding to give the higher impact in the end.
I do appreciate that they have the audio tour for adults and children alike, the new memorials for certain groups of people (Jewish, children, pets), and the space for a staff member to play the piano to share what it would have been like in first class. It was wonderful to experience again.
If you’re interested in the sinking of the titanic at all, check it out.
If you’re a movie fan, check it out (and shop too!)
You will have to get tickets based on an entry time window so keep that in mind, but also be sure to check for different discounts on the kiosk. Military discounts are available!

Grossly insensitive

By Zachary K |

Yes, it has fascinating memorabilia, pulled from the wreckage and from survivors or recovery teams, as well as a few iconic movie memorabilia. The educational aspect is the only reason to consider going. It gives you a look at the Titanic in a way that you maybe won’t get much elsewhere. That being said, the insensitive nature of the entire tourist-trap, for-profit, family-friendly-fun-styled business operation here made me feel so uncomfortable contributing a cent to it. To put things into perspective… weeks ago, I went to the 9/11 memorial exhibit. I was moved to tears and felt a strong connection to the history and weight of its significance. There were many times in this exhibit when I felt that same feeling of tragedy and loss from the stories. So what if the 9/11 memorial was the same experience as this place (which, why shouldn’t it be?)? I would arrive to the memorial and there would be a giant replica of the twin towers outside the building with an airplane half flown through it with smoke coming out of it. It would have twin tower themed ice cream sandwiches. Maybe a Boeing 747 banana split. I would have smiled with my family for a fake photo taken in front of the twin towers to be sold at the gift shop. There would have been tragic stories and objects on display, followed by a room where a child plays a game where he tries to shoot down the hijacked airplanes or to try and escape the fires (there was a game for kids to avoid hitting the iceberg), and people would be posing for fun pictures of simulations of the tragedy. There would be an awkward and random 10 minute pre-museum birthday celebration of a “little princess” in the group by a very unenthusiastic team member reading a birthday kid celebration script dressed in 90s business attire. Next to mangled tower fragments or a missing person’s shoes, you see the extremely high auctioned value of the item. This place was made to fill someone’s pockets and to flex their wealthy status, not to honor those lost, no matter how they try and paint that picture. The titanic’s sinking was a tragedy with so many lives lost. Fascination with the event is one thing, but it’s just gross to turn that into some side of the road for-profit entertainment.

A must for titanic fanatics!

By Kami W |

Titanic Museum is a must! Employees are nice and very informative. My kids absolutely loved it. I have a 8 year old that is obsessed with everyrhing titanic. I do suggest taking your time and not rushing through or you may miss something. For those needing a wheelchair they do provide those. Also Has a elevator for easy access between floors.

Titanic

By Mama Bear |

We enjoyed every moment of the museum tour.
The tour and its personalized speakers that you may select and listen to made the journey on the titanic come to life.
Feeling the water and cool breeze aboard the ship made us feel the power of the ocean.
We could truly feel the sadness of the wreckage. We learned so much. Each of us got a ticket aboard the ship and got to find out at the end if we survived. It was a learning experience for all of us!

A TRIP IN THE BACK IN HISTORY BROUGHT ALIVE.

By Daniel M |

This was a museum like no other. I was not ready for what I saw. I could have spent a day or two there. It puts you on the ship and in the lifeboats. You get a peek at what life was like back in 1912. It took 14000 men working every day for three years to build this ship. It was built in Ireland. The personal stories before and after the trip of those involved and the survivors will move you to tears. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville are one strip of eating and things to do. Don't go on the weekend or a holiday. Traffic is epic. Check out Parrot Mountain.

Lots of things to look at

By Marissa C |

This was a nice place to wander. Lots of actual artifacts from the titanic as well as plenty of historical facts and pictures. It’s neat to get a passenger and then find out if they survived or not at the end. All the employees were very knowledgeable about the passengers and were happy to talk about things that were not on the cards as well. Overall a great place to visit.

Humbling and informative

By WVExplorer |

Like many, I am pretty familiar with the Titanic but I did have some questions about why and how this happened that were better explained at the exhibit. Wonderful artifacts and interactive features about the lives and people aboard the ship. It’s a difficult subject but really puts it in perspective. Kids were really enamored by the angle of the deck at sinking and playing the interactive steering wheel. Great and informative stop while having fun in Pigeon Forge.

True artifacts!

By Tammi L |

Very much worth the ticket price. It was exciting to see all the artifacts from the ship. I loved the price comparison that was given. The huge Lego Titantic was quite fantastic! Best 2 hours spent in a museum for me.

By B27BSrobertj |

This is a beautiful venue, and the effort put into the museum is evident.

Each room is filled with photos, signs, and artifacts from the Titanic.

Upon arrival we each received a card describing a person that was on the Titanic. We also received audio devices that would allow you to hear more about several of the exhibits.

There's a spot where you can put your hand into 28 degree water and imagine what it'd be like to be submerged into it.

Another spot has portions of decking tilted at various angles so can you envision trying to walk as the ship was sinking.

Near the end, there's a wall filled with names of all onboard, and you can look to see if the person you were assigned to had survived. Later, there was a board showing all survivors' pictures and a writeup about them.

It was good that they have varying start times, because the rooms get crowded.

I had somehow thought it was more interactive rather than a self guided tour. I prefer the opportunity to ask questions as I go.

LOVED IT! STOP THE PIANO FROM BEING BANGED ON!

By Suzanne H |

Great experience! We loved it! A world of information!
The movie display is not necessary and takes away from the tragedy of the Titanic. Also, the piano room, people banging on an out of tune piano is very distracting for the visitors. You have a large piano in a small space which is very loud. We left the room before we finished looking at everything.

Highly recommend!!!

By Pamela M |

Our experience at the titanic was just wonderful! And in some ways, it was quite sobering, but it was enlightening also. We especially enjoyed hearing back stories of folks who had been on the Titanic and survived, and told their family members some special stories ~~ touched our hearts very deeply.
We loved that you had your own personal experience, because everyone was given a device that taught us along the way, and everyone could go at their own pace.
There were a couple of added features that I don’t want to tell you about, but they were very special! You will not be disappointed if you choose to visit the Titanic!!!

By Klarissa L |

The museum was great! It was a great experience & such an amazing review of the history of the Titanic.
The only issue was we never got our tickets from Trip Advisor like we were suppose to. They were never sent to my email, so I had to call the titanic place and they were able to give me a verbal confirmation number so we could get in.

Just amazing experience to the past

By Mike R |

We went to this Museum, and i have to say, it was VERY worth the price. From the way the staff dress, and treat you, to the amazing displays, interactions, and overall immersion into the Titanic experience, its just mind blowing.
We will totally do it again and again if we get chance. Touching that 23degree water was such a experience, to learning about all the children lost on the ship.
Thank you for such a place, and I truly hope it remains a amazing spot to visit for years to come.
WELL DONE!

Titanic museum

By Brandon P |

Nice exhibition. Let's you understand the times and opulence of the trip. Especially like the original artifacts.

Big Boat

By Ashley F |

We Survived! The employees like to talk. There was a feller behind us who was speaking a foreign language. There was cold water there. I don't understand why we can take picture on one side of the steps but not the other?? The owners should be happy the captain wasn't smart enough to steer around a giant iceberg. He made them lots of money.

Great museum!

By CLH79 |

This museum was great! My teenage daughter and I enjoyed it so much! We took our time going through it and really loved it. We were there almost 2 hours and could have taken longer. So interesting and enjoyable!

By PAJeremy |

This was the first thing we did with a group of 7. We had a 9and 10 year old with us so we had talked a bit about it ahead of time in hopes they wouldn’t be bored. (They really don’t like tours and boring museums). They LOVED it.
Check in: at the time you are registered you and a group of 50ish. They do a registration and review of rules and entered about 20-30 minutes after the time we registered. They did a great job of managing crowds to keep the experience enjoyable.
Once inside you use your personal electronic tour guide to listen to stories and history as you progress through. What was great!!! There was a separate channel for kids. I don’t know what it said but our kids, who cannot focus that long, were on their own. My son even shushed me so he could hear his device.
Overall very neat and informative. Not something I would otherwise deal out but glad we did it.

Was a fun place to visit

By Patricia B |

So the ticket for entrance gives you a person's name what class and at the end you find out whether they survived or not. Lots of interesting information about the Titanic including a Lego model of the Titanic. Was good but not as exciting as I thought it would be. Still very interesting if you are interested in history of the Titanic

Fun and Educational

By Amanda |

We loved our visit to the Titanic museum. It was a little slow getting in because of how they do the timed entry but it also helped limit the crowds in each room. Before you enter you get assigned to be a person that was actually on the Titanic and then at the end you find out if your person survived or not. They have alot of artifacts that were on the Titanic.

My kids are 8 and 11. They enjoyed the interactive exhibits the most. They liked trying to walk to ship deck and the different angles as the ship was sinking and trying to steer the ship to avoid the iceberg the best. Other things we enjoyed was pretending to shovel coal and feeling how cold the water was where the Titanic sunk.

One of the employees was doing a virtual field trip for a school class while we were there and my kids helped do some demonstrations, this is one of their favorite memories from the museum.

A must-see for Titanic lovers

By Elisabethcm2013 |

The exhibition was amazing and you got a good idea of the Mood on the ship and the events on that fatal day. Pay attention because the attempt to pay by card was seen by the bank as fraudulent and blocked. Not desirable when you're so far from home.

Tacky, tacky, tacky.

By Safari00152498345 |

This is the tackiest attraction I have ever been to. From being told to act like we were freezing in a entry photo, to the "try to not hit the iceberg" game for children, this "museum" lacked any gravitas or dignity around what was a monumental tragedy.

great time!

By Smoking Chickin |

I visited the Titanic Museum with my family and we had a great time. The museum is shaped like a giant ship and has many interactive exhibits and artifacts from the actual Titanic. We learned a lot about the history and the people who were on board the ship. We also got to touch an iceberg, walk on a sloping deck, and see the Grand Staircase. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and they gave us boarding passes with the names of real passengers. At the end of the tour, we found out if our passengers survived or not. It was a very emotional and educational experience. I highly recommend this museum to anyone who is interested in the Titanic or history in general. It is worth every penny and more.

Awesome experience

By Siouxanne M |

It was both awesome and humbling to see the human lives that actually lived and died that day so long ago! The displays were great! I especially love the Lego titanic and the story behind it

Awesome find!!

By andrew d |

The lady that played the nun done such an amazing job of telling the different heart touching stories of the people on board, some of enduring faith till the very end and some that even sacrificed their lives while screaming heartcries of faith till their final moments. Amazing job mam!! Thank you for making our experience so much more enjoyable!!

By Nancy R |

My sister and I took our grandchildren, age 5 and they enjoyed it so much. My grandson said his favorite part was seeing the titanic Lego ship and he really enjoyed the movie about how the young boy built it. We will definitely be returning!

Brought the Titanic tragedy to life and not just a page in history.

By Julia C |

The museum was amazing! The items that were on the Titanic really helped to bring the tragedy into perspective. The cold water was heartbreaking knowing that’s what they faced. The tour was very informative.

Overall great experience

By Big D |

Overall, a great experience. I liked how I was given a passenger’s name and info and able to check if they survived. The exhibits were interesting.
The only downfall was that the Number of people that were let in in our group was too large. We were all crowded into the first room, trying to see everything. I think it would’ve been easier to navigate if our group was smaller

By Kathleen S |

The information and artifacts were fascinating. Unfortunately they alliwed too many people in at one time so it was difficult to see everything and move around.

An emotive and incredible exprience

By Paul L |

An amazing experience. Very emotive. Thankfully, the museum wasn't only about the sinking of the Titanic, it was the entire story from design to finishing in the dockyard - then the sinking. Provided details of the sinking I'd never heard of. A real eye opener whilst being emotional. Stunning graphics and layout.

Great fun and informative way to spend an hour

By MelBell45 |

Great hour long walk through this. Nice artifacts and staff. Price is a tad steep for this in my opinion. All in all I’d ho but wouldn’t be entertaining for young kids under 10.

By TruthTeller_11 |

It was quite nice. I would go again, but without kids. My kids are Titanic fanatics, and hyperactive. You do not want to go to this museum with hyperactive kids who love Titanic or other shipwrecks. The kids will have the time of their lives, but you will not be able to enjoy the museum at your own pace. There are a lot of people, and it's very easy to lose your kid in the crowd.

You can stay all day no matter what your "boarding time", but once you go through the turnstile into the gift shop, you do not get to go back. Also, the pictures they take of you at "boarding" - you have to pay for them later if you want them, and they are quite expensive. You will not be told about this when the pictures are taken, or when you (as instructed) bring your QR code to the photography desk and they print your pictures for you. They print them up, put them in front of you, and _then_ tell you that you have to pay for them. Save the awkwardness, take your own pictures, and avoid the photography desk.

There are some actual artifacts there, but I personally found the quantity of them to be underwhelming. For it being the big Titanic museum, I expected more, but perhaps they rotate in and out. Anyone who is even somewhat into Titanic will love this museum. The recreation of the Grand Staircase is full scale and functional. The gift shop has a nifty selection of gifts. Go early in the day and take it at your own pace.

Captures the Event perfectly

By DAVID G |

If you are interested in the Titanic you will love this. It's expensive but worth the visit. Need advance tickets. It's imaginatively done.

By traveltalk505 |

We booked online in advance which was good since they sold out the day we were there. The exterior of the museum, a replica of the Titanic scaled down, is neat to see. We were able to line up 15 minutes before our ticket time. A photographer takes a group shot that you can buy online later for $22. You are given a passenger card in a certain class and can find out later if you survived or not. Alas my 3 year old Swedish 3rd class little girl was not on the 3rd class board at all. We planned to buy the audio recorder but never were offered it. We saw people inside using it which was upsetting since we felt it would have enhanced the experience. It was too crowded to really enjoy the exhibits as we would have liked. We expected more replica rooms. There was only a 3rd class bedroom. The Grand Staircase was nice but you had to line up for a long time for a chance to take a picture since some people took a million. There should be a monitor to keep things moving. We gave up and took the elevator down so couldn’t get the shot. A map guide with rooms labelled would have been helpful. Overall it was disappointing and not what we hoped for. We wanted to feel like we were on the Titanic. Very static displays would not make this very interesting for younger folks.

Learned a lot about the Titanic that is rarely talked about.

By William W |

The exhibit was amazing. The history and artifacts on display point to the luxury of first class and to the comfort level of third class. Learned a lot about the ship that is rarely talked about. Highly recommend a visit. We went during the off season to avoid crowds.

Very well done museum

By Nancy C |

I was expecting something hokey, given all the craziness in Pigeon Forge and nearby Gatlinburg. Instead, this was a true museum, respectful of all the lives lost in the tragedy and very informative. We love history and enjoyed it immensely.

Awesome visit

By DB20 |

My friend and I loved the Titanic museum. It was so much fun. I loved the artifacts. The grand staircase and recreated 1st class areas were amazing.

to much reading involved

By Breann T |

It was nice and had a lot of info if you were down for READING the entire time. Kids will be VERY bored with this, we ran thru in about 20 minutes

Such and memorable and amazing experience!

By Shelby Isbell |

We enjoyed walking through and taking so many photos of this beautiful and unique museum. I loved titanic since I was a littler girl and being able to go through and enjoy this beautiful exhibit and immersive experience. The grand stair case took my breath away and I’m so grateful how much they honor and tell the story’s of those who tragically lost their lives . I cried a few areas of the exhibit and loved each and every moment of it . I can not wait to go back to titanic and get to enjoy it all over again . Bring your kids and family to this exhibit so they can be immersed in history and so they can remember and honor those who lost their lives so many years ago so that their story’s live on.

Magnificent Museum!

By Lisa W |

This is the best museum I have ever visited! It is well planned out, interactive and kept our attention until the very end. There is something for everyone- engagement for all ages!

Wonderful step back into history

By Corinne C |

A VISIT TO THE MUSEUM WAS INCLUDED IN OUR DREAM VACATION BUS TOUR TO PIGEON FORGE.
IT WAS AMAZING, AND CERTAINLY ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR TRIP!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATTENDING THIS FASCINATING EXPERIENCE. OUR GUIDE WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE AND SHE BROUGHT THE ACTUAL PASSENGERS ON THE TITANIC COME ALIVE TO US. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO AGAIN.

Good stop

By Jen |

This wasn’t a planned stop in our trip, but a rainy morning caused us to look for some inside options.

This turned out to be a good choice. It may have been a little over the heads of our youngest (4), but there were interactive exhibits even for little ones and the older kids (8-11) stayed engaged for the most part. Upon entry you get assigned a real individual who sailed on the titanic, adding to the ability for a more personal connection.

Lots to see and learn and think about

We breezed thru in about 1 hr less with the kids but could have gone slower to read more.

By desiree t |

Beautiful exhibit but be prepared to be on your feet for some time!

I loved seeing the real artifacts from the ship, an experience I’ll never forget.

By penguin_P |

I was in AWE! Beautiful depiction of the Titanic and a beautiful memorial/tribute to the passengers/crew. Book tickets in advance! They will only allow admission at booked times. Take a sweater- the ice room is unreal!

By Conwa30 |

We went as a recommendation from a friend. We knew about the movie, but this is far and beyond. What a wonderful and magical experience. We learned so much about the ship and the people that served and those who were served. So many little tidbits of knowledge. Thank you

Titanic museum

By Angela T |

Very interesting experience for adults and children over 10 years old. Since it's a museum, young children will not be interested. We spent about 2 hours in the museum. There are very valuable artifacts from the actual Titanic on display. They share artifacts with the museum in Branson, MO

Great rainy day activity

By kmbsfc |

Cool family experience. The museum was a great thing to do on a rainy day. The tour is self guided and will take you about an hour to complete. You can find discounted tickets if you search online. Upon arrival you will receive a card with a name on it and you can read about the persons journey during the tour. There are several interactive areas for kids to participate in.

Very immersive.

By Matthew Caudill |

This museum amazing if you are a Titanic history fan. They relics from the ship are amazing. When you enter the que to get inside they will give you a card that has a name and information of a real occupant of the titanic. This is who you are following as a boarding pass. At the end it tells you if you survived or not and what the odds were based on gender and class. Its a self guided tour and you can take all the time you want to get through the different rooms. The workers inside are all in character and it makes the whole experience really immersive. There is an area that allows you to put your hand into the sub freezing salt water that is set at the same temperature as the ocean water was during the sinking. Just a taste of how terrible of an ordeal it was to go into that water. We loved every minute of time spent here.

By James H |

Took my fiancé here for his birthday. Upgraded his tickets to VIP only cost three dollars more but was well worth the extra money. We recommend this location for family and couples it was so nice singing happy birthday to him on the grand piano and all the cool memories telling him happy birthday to definitely be going back again soon.

By Scott W |

I have to say that the museum itself is very nice and very interesting. However, there was a problem at the time I had booked for my self guided tour. It seemed that at the same time the museum had booked a very large party for an employee guided tour. This tour consisted of elderly people many in wheelchairs or walkers. I don’t begrudge them the ability to go on a tour, but there were so many of them, and with their mobility issues, they should have been given a exclusively for their group. Since they booked an employee guided tour, their large group took up so much room and with the mobility issues, the rest of us could not get around or even get close to the exhibits. I finally had to simply squeeze by them and skip a whole section of the museum to be able to enjoy what was left of it. The Museum should have booked their huge group exclusively for that timeslot so that they were done by the time the next time slot opened.

Great place to visit, Loved it!

By Joseph C |

Awesome place! Loved the artifacts and exhibits they have, and the water room was great, the guy playing the piano to the gift shop was perfect! Love this place and hope to return!

Don’t waste your money.

By Jennifer S |

It is crowded and it is just walking around and looking at blown up pictures and reading captions. Extremely boring especially for kids. It was a complete waste of time and money. Do not go. There are minimal actual artifacts.

Amazing Experience

By Elizabeth W |

I thought everything was amazing! I'm a huge Titanic buff. There was a room that had a pool of water that was the temperature of the water that night and the room itself was freezing, the temperature in the air that night. The also had exhibits you could climb at increasing levels of slope to show you how it felt when it was sinking. The 45° slope was difficult to climb! There were stories from a great deal of passengers and lots of artifacts from the actual Titanic. There's also a replica of the Grand Staircase. If you like the history of the Titanic and want to see something truly amazing, visit! You won't regret it!

By Melissa O |

Having to buy tickets ahead of time, we thought this meant only so many could go at a time. We'll we were wrong it was so crowded you could not enjoy looking or reading . On top of that, we had kids running around playing no parents or staff in sight.
It was interesting but for the price we expecting something more.

By Pamela W |

This place was great. Staff was supper nice the museum was very informative I would definitely recommend this place especially if the Titanic was something that always interest you .

By Brett S |

Ok to answer everyone’s first question - NO! You cannot go on top of the ship, lean against the rail with your arms spread out and scream “I’M ON TOP OF THE WORLD”! The iconic image that you see of the front half of the ship is just for show, but it is amazing! If you have any interest in the Titanic disaster this is an absolute must! I feel this museum was tastefully, and respectfully put together without making a mockery of the victims. There are original artifacts, displays, and interactive experiences. One of the most profound experiences for my wife and I was the 28 degree water room. They have a room that that you can submerge your hand in 28 degree water (yes it is sanitary you can smell disinfectant). At first the water didn’t seem terrible but keeping one hand in for one minute was very uncomfortable and to imagine your entire body being submerged is horrifying. I would also like to mention that it’s apparent this company is always adding and updating this museum. This is evidenced by a fairly new exhibit that has the largest scale Lego model with a fascinating story of a young man with autism attached to it. There is also a plaque commemorating the victims of the Titan submersible disaster. Again just pointing those two things out to show that they’re always adding to, improving, and updating this awesome museum. This experience is fun, and informative, for all ages, and a “must do” while visiting this area!

Very informative.

Tour the Titanic right in Pigeon Forge

By Jet05780561859 |

There is a replica of the Titanic in the middle of downtown Pigeon Forge! For anyone interested, it provides a lot of historical information about the passengers and crew (even the dogs) on the doomed ship. There are replicas of the accommodations, the famous staircase with the domed ceiling above, and also an exhibit about the sinking which includes an explanation of the angle of the deck as it sank. Upon entry, each person receives a card which gives details about a passenger, and at the end, you find out if the passenger survived the sinking or died. Additionally, there is a room which celebrates the Titanic movie and it has the door upon which Jack and Rose were lying in the ocean at the end, as well as costumes used in the movie. I would recommend it for anyone who is interested in the subject and would like to learn more.

Our experience was wonderful

Emotional, educational, memorable, and interactive. A must see with family members of all ages during the holidays or on a rainy day.

By Wayne K |

My wife and I loved it. If you like anything about history you will love it. All of the staff were great, the Lego ship is amazing. The audios are very informational, I suggest you prepare the learn more about this event in history, and take your time going through. You will actually be one of the original passengers aboard, I hope you survive, my wife and I both did.

Fascinating

By Pilar S |

This is like everything.
I have followed the story of the Titanic and yesterday the exhibition I loved I was almost three hours inside.
Now you do go without reading and without seeing the story you still take half an hour

Immersive and Fun Experience

Titanic Museum: SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE

By Joy M |

The presentation, artifacts, replicas, and staff were all excellent! Our total experience was superb!

By Catherine H |

Just as expected, we learned a lot about the history of the ship and it’s passengers. Upon arrival you receive a card with the name of one of the passengers and some of their story. At the end of the tour you find out if your passenger survived or not. There is one room where you experience the night temp and water temp the night the ship sank.

By 1Macaw |

I have been to this museum many times over the years and it is awesome everytime. I always find something that I did not know with each visit, plus on this visit they had a special addition to the museum - some of the things from the actual movie Titanic - amazing!! This museum never disappoints.

Unexpectedly awesome

Was an amazing visit. Really enjoyed talking with the lady by the survivors and non-survivors wall named grandma. So much information she provided and had a wonderful conversation with her. Thank you for such a great chat and experience.

By shay_peck |

Very interesting. We enjoyed many of the artifacts, especially the photos graphs taken by the father who was able to disembark early.

Titanic Museum Review

By Amber T |

This your did not take as long as I thought it would. We were there less than two hours. The tour was pretty informative. It was not as detailed as I imagined it would be.

By AParker |

Very disappointing. There were only a few artifacts from the ship and some of those are going to auction soon. It was almost $100 for the two of us and it was just underwhelming.

Overcrowded and not recommended for younger children

By Pioneer66647875107 |

They recommend to buy tickets since time slots sells out. We bought tickets ahead, and had the (wrong) assumption that because they manage number of tickets by the half hour that crowd control would be managed. No. Our painful time spent at this attraction was mostly waiting in line to view an artifact or picture before slowly shuffling to the next item. Every room was packed with people and it created a very claustrophobic experience. We thankfully did not have our kids, else everyone would have likely enjoyed some crying and/or meltdowns as there is less to do for kids here than a clothing store.

All of this aside, if this attraction is meant to honor/remember those that perished, it misses the boat by the over commercialism with it.

Great exhibit! Could do better with the organization.

By Cheri V |

My husband and I visited the Titanic museum in January. I love everything about the Titanic I’m a fan. It was well organized until we gave the tickets and went to the first part. There were too many people at once allowed in at a time. Several people actually want to read everything but can’t. People let there kids run everywhere, pushing people out the way, yelling, etc. The overall Titanic Museum is great but we think they definitely could do better with the organization. My husband wanted to leave but I was not after paying $70 for tickets I was gonna get my moneys worth.

Enjoyed it very much

By Curiosity812940 |

It was an awesome experience even though I did shed some tears in certain areas. Very touching experience. Very well laid out and the mobile voice phone was also a plus so you could hear every words instead of listening over speakers while people was talking and kids making g noise those phones made it easier to listen to.

Tourist stop right ahead!

By Steelcityguy |

If you have an interest in the Titanic due to the movie or have never seen a Titanic exhibit then you will definitely enjoy this attraction in Pigeon Forge.

However, if you are like me and have seen several different artifact displays over the years then you maybe disappointed. There is no recovered jewelry, the ships whistles, the BIG piece, unopened bottles of champagne etc. in the exhibit. I did enjoy seeing the replica of the grand staircase. But to be honest from my viewpoint it wasn't worth the price of admission.

But with the exhibit location it pulls in the tourist trade and for what is shown most people will enjoy it, especially with several props they purchased from the movie.

If you have never seen the Titanic artifacts before then what they do have you will probably enjoy it.

By CARLA |

If you like history, this is the place to go!!! Takes a while to get through, and very crowded, hard to get close to photos because people pushing you along. Guide speaker they give you helps, though the one that they gave me, battery died half way through🫤 Artifacts were AMAZING ! Definitely NOT a place for young children! Freezing water exhibit was really neat, and really put things in perspective!👍 Pricey, but worth it! Cute gift shop, decent prices for merchandise...

Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge Tenn. Don't miss it!!

If you know nothing, absolutely nothing about Titanic and have over-romanticised the movie, then go. If you have knowledge of the events, this is not going to increase that knowledge too much. You can glean most from a simple internet search. I am fortunate to have had an expert in the family. So I picked up on certain things that were not in play. I'm not convinced that handing out 'boarding passes' with the names of people on board is respectful. All that seemed to do was turn people into 'did I survive?' gamers, missing the point of the whole tradegy. And the children running about, back and forth, the teenagers who insist on proving their worth on the ever increasing sloping decks do not enhance things. As an example of an inconsistency, I think I heard the tour phone say Titanic went down in 2 hours 5 mins. A wall plastered with a newspaper report says 4 hours. It is generally agreed it took 2 hours and 40 mins. The Grand Staircase is impressive, but it's scale is lost as it is in a tight space without context. I don't think this museum knows whether it wants to be an appropriate memorial, a money making exercise (the gift shop is so commercial) or a place of education. I found it all a tad ghoulish. For 39 dollars, to be round in 35 mins, of which ten were spent observing the staircase, was unsatisfying. As I was leaving, I heard someone say, 'ha, I survived!' Not sure I did.

Thinking this was some type of amusement for kids….uh….nope. What it is though is a grand replica of the original. There are enough exhibits on the self guided audio tour to last for several hours. This is a look, listen and learn the story of the doomed maiden voyage and the tribute it pays to those who were there. Definitely not for small children.

Very nice! A lot of information about the titanic! Authentic experience, and the best ice cream in town! Better then the yard, or any of the creameries in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg trust me 🤘🏻

Go at slow times/days

By Kayla M |

I love the Titanic and history, but I was a little disappointed with the trip. I wasn't as much disappointed with the actual attraction itself as much as how crowded it was. I didn't get to look at all I would have liked and didn't spend as much time I would have liked due to the crowd. This would be a great experience on a slow day.

Titanic experience

By David C |

It’s much bigger than it looks on the outside. We got in free because we went on Veterans Day but I think it is worth the admission price. It was pretty cool. Getting to actually feel how cold it was and how cold the water was that night was cool.

Nice experience

By Javiera Baeza S |

Arriving and buying your ticket is already quite an experience, your ticket is accompanied by the real passenger's name and indicates which room corresponds to you, and before the beginning of the tour they give you a small speaker so you can listen to the stories in the language that best suits you. . You will be able to see what the ship's rooms were like, touch the water at the temperature of the day it sank, try to climb the ship's tilt simulators and enjoy piano music in one of its rooms.
All the people working in the museum are dressed in the ship's theme, which makes you feel like a real passenger.

Decided this was a must do for my husband and I. Brought 13 and 15 year old kids with us. Boy were we surprised when it ended up being a great time for all four of us. We always drag the kids with us and it’s always a 50/50 chance one or both kids will complain. Not this time! The tickets were bought in advance in the morning and good thing, because there was a line and a 20 min wait to get in. Once inside you’re on your own to explore. Many many rooms full of things to look at, read about, and interact with.

By Chrissy S |

There was definitely some cool things to do but, I have been to better titanic exhibitions.

I think the part I appreciated the most was the interactive section where you could try to walk up the deck at the different angles. I also am a lego fan and the giant lego titanic was pretty awesome.

Limited artifacts thought it seemed mostly a photo exhibition

Sobering and deeply moving.

By Phil U |

This is a must see for titanic nuts. Walk the corridors of the ship. Climb the famous staircase by the clock. Take in the history, what happened and how. Feel the icy chill that night and soak up this immensely tragic story.
Brits, take a pinch of salt with you! It’s really worth the visit. It’s really immersive. Educational and deeply moving.

Top place to visit.

By scubamex |

Having been to Belfast, Northern Ireland and visiting the Titanic attraction there built on the slip where the Titanic was built; we weren't expecting what we experienced here at Pigeon Forge. A fabulous job. Well thought out and well worth a visit. This is truly an attraction that you do not want to miss if you are in the area. Highly recommended.

A must

By Droopydrawrs52 |

This is one of the best museums I’ve been to in ages

One of my great grandads brothers died on the boat and it was so moving to see the exhibition

Each floor was just amazing but very moving

Great city.

By Telerebok |

Structured city, several restaurants and attractions. It is on the edge of a beautiful stream. There is snow in winter. Very close to Gatlinburg, which is also fantastic.

Very good

Very good museum. Lots of fun and very interesting. Loved finding out all the details of the different people aboard and the articles that were found in the water. Beautiful replica.

Titanic Museum is Extraordinary!

By Amy P |

What an Incredible self guided museum experience!
I highly recommend this historical museum to all history, maritime and archaeology enthusiasts! I spent 4 hours and I could have stayed longer. The years of work and time the owner and staff have put into this museum in preserving, displaying and respectfully presenting the artifacts is touching! It was heart warming to learn about the personal stories of those who were on the Titanic. The admission price of my ticket was well worth it! I can’t wait to go back. Put this on the top of your list as a must see!
The staff were knowledgeable, professional and courteous and made our experience exciting and entertaining.
We enjoyed shopping for unique one-of-a-kind gifts at the gift shop emporium and topped it off with a sweet treats and homemade sandwiches at the new custard shoppe.

Wonderful experience.

By Mary K |

The self guided audio was great. It was interesting to hear survivors speak. So much information. So well done. Loved the focus on the children who were on board the Titanic.

Titanic

Very interesting artifacts & pictures. It’s a bit crowded at first but it thins out as people move at their own pace. The staircase was very cool. When you enter you get a ticket of an actual passenger. At the end you find out their fate. Well worth the price of admission. We went home & watched the movie!

Definitively we will not recommend

By Bruno |

Did not meet expectations at all.
We cannot understand why that is almost 5 stars on Trip Advisor !!!!
Nothing entertaining !

Enjoyable experience

We all enjoyed the museum , well worth the price. Traveled with 3 children 10 and under, they loved it. Several hands on displays for children.

Titanic comes to life in Pigeon Forge

By Natalie A |

My partner and I decided to check out the Titanic Museum while we were in Pigeon Forge since we’ve both always been fascinated by the story of the Titanic and we wanted to do one of the attractions whilst in Pigeon Forge and it did not disappoint! The whole place is so well done. From the moment you walk up to the huge ship outside, you can tell a lot of care went into creating it.
We thought it was a nice touch how they give you a boarding pass with the name of an actual passenger.

Inside, the exhibits were beautifully done. The attention to detail was incredible from the grand staircase to the recreated cabins and the chilling feel of the iceberg water!

Definitely a recommended attraction to do while in Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend it, especially if you love history or just want to do something a little different!

A+++++

I’m a major titanic history junkie and this was amazing. I’ve been to exhibits in Vegas, Boston, and NY and this was the best I’ve been to. Ver interactive, stuff for kids, and most of all the best artifacts I’ve seen. The pianist on site was incredible. My kids were moderately entertained overall- probably would not have chosen this as their first pick, but kept well behaved by the promise of ice cream at the titanic ice cream place on site which was also amazing. The banana split titanic was really neat and the kids loved it.

Staff was very kind, answered any questions and helped me deal with my blunder of purchasing for the wrong day- oops!! Could have cost me a small fortune but were able to fix it with no additional cost which was amazing.

Cool experience

By Mr. Eats out too much |

Very cool experience, learned a lot about the titanic and it’s history. Was interesting to see the limited pictures and hear from some of the survivors that made it through the horrible tragedy. All the theming is very well done. And true to what it would really have looked like( as far as we know) . You get to place your hand in the cold water to feel what some of the survivors and the perished people might have felt before their cold death. At the end you get to find out if the name they gave you in the beginning was a survivor or not. My only confusion was I thought his was more of a guided tour, it was not. All self guided , and you just listen to little audio messages along the way.

Very informative and Fun

By dustyn d |

This was very fun. Beautiful and informative self guided tour. Audio tour guide via hand held device. The kids were excited and engaged. Well worth the money. Buy tickets on "Tripster" for resell discount.

By Ben King |

Let me walk you through it - first, this is a BUSY attraction. Even if you’re early, be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes to get into the museum. When you do get in, it is a really interesting experience, and interesting is the best word for it, I believe. You get a phone-like device to listen to as you walk through the museum. A big thing I did like was that you could pick and choose what information you listened to, and how long for. The museum gives detailed stories about the creation of the boat, its crew, and its ultimate demise. You also get to hear stories from some survivors of the fatal crash, which is really heart warming and heart breaking at the same time. I was AMAZED at some of the original memorabilia that the museum has in there. From letters to life jackets, the museum astonished me with how many real-life titanic possessions it held, as well as how well-kept they were. The museum also does a really good job at recreating various parts of the boat, such as the first class rooms and the helm, to really make you feel like you were there. Overall it was a really enjoyable experience, though the price is a tad steep. I’ve never spent $40 on a museum before and you get through it in about an hour, though you could spend longer.

Excellent

Excellent area to explore ourself

Feels like original Titanic voyage. Friendly staff. Online booking especially through TripAdvisor is recommended.

Good overall value. Neat historical items . Tells a story well. Interactive educational and enjoyable . For sure worth a stop.

Family getaway

What a great time we had with our family. we have been to several Titanic Museums (including Belfast Ireland) and it was a great learning experience as well as a good time with the family. Highly recommended

By Amy W |

Top notch pictures, artifacts, history
Excellent life size Grand Staircase
Audio for adults & different audio for kids
Kids trivia activities in each room

By sunshine0024 |

Enjoyed the Titanic museum. Self guided with microphone. Make sure you get tickets online before visit to get the scheduled time you prefer.

Disappointed.

By Gerry B |

Disappointed that the audio tour was discontinued. It was much more engaging. Although the exhibits were beautiful, there were fewer actors and lack of audio was a huge disappointment. Won’t be back.

A day in the life of a passenger aboard the titanic

By Lori G |

The crew was very knowledgeable with the history of the titanic and I liked having the radio to listen to the events from actual passengers instead of just reading what was on the walls. Living the life of an actual passenger aboard made the experience more dramatic and surreal.

Excellent Family Destination

By A T |

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this museum is. I really was not sure what to expect given its location in the middle of all the tourist attractions in Pigeon Forge. However, this museum is packed with information and excellent recreations of parts of the ship. My entire family really enjoyed this experience.

Misleading prices

By Mary C |

We the visited Titanic museum yesterday and wanted to purchase a ticket but was informed I wasn't able to buy senior discount because it was a weekend, I purposely visited at weekend because of the advertised rate.

We declined and left without a proper visit, we think this is false advertising as it clearly showed on the board the senior rate.

Not impressed with the company policy.

Regards Terence & Mary Cahill

Excellent museum.

By cjfog92 |

Excellent museum. This museum is laid out nicely and we learned so much by reading all the information. The actual artifacts that are in it are really interesting. We loved that you get given a card that says you are a passenger and at the end you see if you lived or died. It’s sad to see the wall with all the names of those who perished. The grand staircase is stunning. The size of the outside is unbelievable, it’s hard to even imagine a ship that large way back then. It took us 2 hours to see everything.

A Sobering Museum of Significant History

By Brittany P |

This was a great museum and experience. It was interesting to see all the work that went into the designing, engineering, and building of the Titanic. It was also cool to see the many faces of the real people who set sail for various reasons and dreams. It was sobering to see how many perished and the selflessness of some that sacrificed their own lives for the lives of others. The memorial wall was very moving. That being said, this is a museum. If you are expecting something highly entertaining in the form of dramatic productions and high energy, this is not it. If you enjoy history and want to experience a piece of it in a moving and informative way, then this is for you. It could be a little cheaper, but it is still great!

Ok

They should have explained the audio communicators better. Never had been there before and didn't realize their function. Was disappointed

Great experience

Great place to visit, we can see everything from construction to after the accident, it was really good. We love it.

Our First Titanic Experience

Loved all the information and the inside replica of the ship was really pretty. We enjoyed the walk thru so very much. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Awesome tour...worth every penny!

By Cynthia M |

My husband and I are history buffs and are life-long learners, so this attraction was right up our alley! When we finished, my husband said to me, "I'm really glad you MADE us do this!" I wasn't aware I had made him...he's the history major! Anyway, you will love this attraction, regardless of your age. Like anywhere you go, you can learn as much as you want! I love that you have a card in your hand throughout the journey of a real passenger. You find out if you survived at the end. Very cool! The kids have their our audio tour separate from the adults, but right alongside the adults. The museum is well done and tasteful, not sensationalized. Lots of special features like the 28 degree room with water you can touch, so you don't have to imagine how cold it was. The Lego feature was also awesome. Just go, it's worth, says the lady who KNOWS the value of a dime!

The rose

By Sonny_circumvehor |

Misleading a bit, abs gore can you bit have " the bow " shot ?but suite clean and the artifacts were cool. Parking was good, gift so had the rose necklace

By mattpgab |

We booked tickets using the Viator app (a Tripadvisor company) for a 10:30 tour. The museum is easy to get to and parking is plentiful. A staff member scanned out e-tickets and directed us to the queue where we received a brief orientation and our audio tour technology. From there we were free to go at our own pace to explore the rare and interesting artifacts and stories and photos. We spent about 45 minutes but you could easily spend a few hours there if you want to read and see everything. There’s of course an obligatory gift shop at the end of the tour.

A visit to remember!

By Dov N |

Everyone knows that the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank. Many people saw the movie with Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio. But most people are unaware of the intensely personal side of this great tragedy. The Titanic Museum puts a human face to all that were lost. Its many stories tell the tale of individuals and families with great hopes and dreams, and how those dreams were tragically cut short. Especially touching are the stories of all the children who perished. The exhibits of personal effects, letters, as well as items donated by survivors all contribute to a very moving experience.

Interesting and interactive for history lovers

By MelissaClaire93 |

I’ve always been super interested in the titanic and consider myself somewhat of an expert. I’ve visited this museum before years ago but even so when the girls in our bachelorette group suggested visiting I was excited to check it out again. The experience is very interactive. You get a boarding pass of a passenger and get to see at the end whether you survived or not. The design is meant to make some of it feel like you’re actually on the ship vs. just in a regular museum. It is a bit crowded and you’ll have to be willing to wait to read some of the info but it’s worth it. They had some information that I didn’t know so I loved being able to learn some new details of ship life. There are also other interactive aspects where you can try out the tilting of the ship and also feel the water temperature. We loved it. They also have a new Titanic ice cream shop next door with cute themed treats. It’s really cute inside and we enjoyed visiting that as well. If you’re a titanic fan or history lover this is definitely a can’t miss stop.

This is a must-see activity if you are any kind of Titanic enthusiast. The room where you go outside on the deck and experience the temperature of the air and water is very cool
(literally and figuratively). The recreation of the grand staircase is very impressive as well.

By Katrina S |

Fun and educational activities to do with your family or by yourself. We went on a rainy morning, but it was a great, friendly place to stay dry.

A Must See If You Are In The Area

By Loreen S |

Really enjoyed the museum. Lot's of great information and SO glad they had the audio to help since that would have been a lot of reading!!

A must-see

By David Hoffman |

Very informative and immersive exhibit! I felt like I was on the RMS Titanic during several parts of the tour. Well worth it! The handheld radio portion wasn't very fun and slowed the tour down though. We booked tickets online in advance.

Positive experience at the Titanic Museum

By Susan H |

We were really impressed with the Museum. Enjoyed reading about the people and all the artifacts. Enjoyed the movie about the boy with autism at the end and seeing his Lego model. We didn't have to wait that long in to get in because of the timed entry.
It was recommended to us by relatives, and I am glad we went.
Susan

By Renee H |

Very nice. The staff was wonderful. The audio was fantastic. The Lego ship at the end with the young man's story was my highlight. Fantastic job.

Worth the Visit

By Jennifer J |

The only reason the museum is getting 4 stars is the lack of timing for guest admissions. Why have entry times but then pack the place like sardines. It made it difficult to enjoy the exhibits.
The exhibits are interesting and the gift store kept with the titanic theme
Worth the visit can kill 2-3 hours of you read all the info

By Michelle B |

This was very nice. I wouldn't recommend for young kids the 1st level is all information and my daughter didn't want to sit and listen to the talking (they give you a personal speaker). So therefore I missed most of it also. The 2nd level has more for kids, with activities but again it is hard for them to focus on the information part of things. Otherwise it was very interesting and well done. I love that they give you a character card and you can follow it throughout the exhibits. I would go back by myself next time or when my daughter is older and can read.

Beautiful and emotional museum

By Evelyn D |

The museum was amazing. It was beautiful learning stories of those on the ship. Learning if your passenger survived the titanic and what they did after with their lives.

By Jenskiwenski |

Great family fun
Right from the start with a lovely greeting and given a passenger identity the visit was fun and interactive. Well worth the money - informative and interesting. The guided tour recordings were helpful and made the trip more immersive. My 15 year old lived it. Great photo opportunities. I want to watch the movie again now!

immersive, moving and best musuem ive been to.Def recommend.

By Sezza_sAR |

Best Musuem ive visited in a long time. From the very start you are given a boarding pass from one of the actual passengers that was onboard The Titanic. You follow the musuem round on that persons journey and at the end you see if you survive or not.
The musuem was brillant from the artifacts that have been preserved all theses years to the interactive parts where you can go onto the bridge and steer the boat with the iceburg in site,to walking up and down the grand staircase,to going out on the deck at the room temp it was when sunk and dipping your hand in the freezing cold water. The whole musuem is well set out and brillant for everyone.
You also get to see and feel how the ship felt at different timings of the sinking by climbing the boat at different heights and angles.
Def recommend, well worth the money. We were there for 3 and half hours.

By AJC110756 |

We didn’t know what to expect with this museum, but we were astounded as to how well this museum pays tribute to the disaster.
From the mementos retrieved from the Titanic to the recreation of the grand staircase and first class staterooms, it was all incredible.
We’re so glad that we decided to buy the tickets to this museum, it’s absolutely amazing.

It was so fun!

By Tracie H |

We had a great time and the staff was amazing! My husband and I have been before so we took my mom and brother. They had a fun time.

By corrinecunningham265 |

The place was great everyone was so friendly we will definitely go back. We went to the custard place next door had a nice time there even though the lady at the counter seemed confused but overall the whole experience was great.

By Polly S |

I expected it to be more like a replica of the Titanic, but it was a museum that had a few replica parts. I’m not into museums.
