Always Fun

By Leebell82 |

There must always be a shopping day included! We love visiting the premium outlets and on this visit with 2 kids we shopped up a storm. There are regular discounts and often additional discounts as well. on this occassion we had a hire car and drove ourselves, this was much easier than trying to fit our shopping bags on the bus as well. Eating options aren't great - be warned.

Excellent, definitely worth a visit.

By Bondies |

Having travelled from Australia, even with exchange rate differences the prices were amazing. We spent far too much money, as the bargains were fantastic. Excellent brands and prices, we booked the Waikele Xpress Shuttle online while we were in Waikiki for $10USD per person. Much better pricing for brands than shopping at Ala Moana.

Good for Kids

By Capta1nAwes0me |

Not the biggest outlet mall i've been to but ok. For adults there didn't seem to be much on special but for kids there were some great deals. The adidas store has some really good discounts (eg. 40% off there already discounted prices). I would go in the morning and come back about 3pm, so that you miss the work traffic. The best way to get there is on the Roberts bus, as its about $50USD for a taxi, where the shuttle is about $18/pp return. TIP: pack your shopping before you get on the bus as there's not much room. otherwise consider putting your shopping under the bus. btw. there are other shops (GAP) across the road.

For those who buy a lot or have time, maybe it's a better deal

By CHOPINATA_kagetora18 |

We took the shuttle bus to the airport.
Time was limited, so we rushed to the only shops we wanted to visit.
It was a Friday in mid-May, but it was relatively empty.

Furla purse is 40% off at $118.12 including tax,
Tommy Bahama also has 40% off clothes,
You could also buy Carters baby clothes and Armani Exchange clothes at great prices.

For lunch, we ate a Filipino dish called rumpia, a spring roll, and panshit, a fried noodles made with vermicelli, both delicious and totaling $12.41 with tax.

We got VIP coupons on the bus and registered members in advance, but it didn't help us much.
It may be a better deal for those who buy a lot or have time.

SALE SALE SALE

By Jayne Glezelle D |

If you want to buy expensive brands on sale this is the best place to go. From Michael Kors, Kate spade, coach, calvin klein and so much more!

BARGAINS FOR THOSE WHO SEARCH

By Adie K |

This outlet is more the upper range of items.
Not all stores have Sale prices, but those who do reduce prices by 70% then when we were there we got an extra 20% off.
So an item which was originally US $200
ended up $US 48.
An hint,go to the Information booth near COACH outlet, fill out the email request and you will get a discount booklet which entitles you even more discounts.

OK shopping

By Joky80 |

Not the best outlet I’ve been to but there were some stores which offered good products and prices. In general it felt like a high-end mall and there were a lot of the more expensive brands. They had a small food court were you could have something to eat and drink.

Bit hit and miss....

By Mark D |

Visited the Waikele Premium Outlets whilst in Hawaii with my 13 year old son. Whilst my Son thought he got a bargain on a couple of pairs of shoes, I found that after doing the conversion, adding tax, etc, that we were paying prices very comparable to that at home in Australia. I found the top name shops were all very expensive, still asking $70 US for a polo shirt. I didn’t buy anything for myself. Would I go again, No, however it depends on what you’re shopping for. I spoke to one Australian lady who said that she got some good bargains on some handbags and shoes..........

Some good bargins to be had

By Kiwigirl50_11 |

From a NZ point of view, there were good bargins to be found in "label" clothing and perfume.
Make sure you know the prices at home for comparison purposes.

At end of cruise stayed in Oahu before flying home

By jjones76b |

If you have time you must visit these outlets - shopping is so much cheaper than Australia and there are bargains to be had. Also plenty of food outlets as well. Best to get there early if possible. Taxis can be expensive so try buses that run regularly to city - price is about $10 US - a taxi could easily be over $60 but quicker.

Outlet

By Escape773516 |

Lots of factory outlets. Cheaper designer clothes Great day out for those who love to shop designer brands. Would do again

Great place to find bargains.

By Karen J |

We spent a good few hours here and found lots of bargains. Prices were dramatically reduced and some places like ASICS even had buy one get one free on their shoes. I picked up some great bargains at Guess, which had 30-50% off most stock. We also found bargains at Levis, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and my husband found a great computer bag at Coach. The only problem we had with clothes, there weren’t a lot of smaller sizes. Some places only had XL XXL etc. But overall this outlet centre has something for everyone. Even the food trucks were amazing. We had an awesome late Mexican lunch which was delicious.

Have been previously and always enjoy the day out there. We caught a bus out there $10 each. Take your time no need to rush. Lots of bargains to be had, take a large bag with you.

Best outlet in hawaii

By Angamuthu A |

Undoubtedly the best shopping outlet in Hawaii.
Will need all day to complete the mission.
Will need to visit the information centre to obtain coupons.
Invariably will shop till you drop.

Not worth the drive hit the banana republic here go for butterfish Miami at juniors and call it a day

By DingoLethbridge |

I have shopped this outlet a few times per year since about 2006. It used to be amazing u could snag unique quality items at a fair price. Over the years the shops have declined. There were at least 4 closed down stores when I was there. Everything is poor quality .
1. Kate spade- last time I got a deal 2021 . Anything that was nice yesterday not in my size. Despite it being spring season merchandise has not been updated
2. Ralph Lauren- nothing up to date. I got some nice Lauren stuff from Macys that was on sale cheaper than outlet!!! Skirts of poor quality were more expensive than Macys
3. Michael Kors gold sneakers- cheaper at Macys
4. Saks of 5 nothing to buy here. Few cute things but again last time anything really good was 2021. Shoes have been not good x years here
5. Imo the best shop is x street which( technically not part of outlets) is banana republic. Scored super cute/ unique dress that had just come in. Sadly the banana republic did have low stock and I wonder if it will be closing out. So sad yo c the outlet concept die ….

Great shoppinh

By Ann C |

Have been here before but years ago. Not a huge outlet centre but was enough for us to shop for what we wanted. We checked in to the Customer Service area for the discount booklet and managed to get quite a few bargains. We had managed to get here by bus, going out we got one bus then walked about 15 minutes. There was actually another bus we could have got. Coming home we got two buses with about a 20 minute wait in the middle. Total of bus fare was $11 both ways. The staff at the outlet were all very helpful. The Leonard’s Bakery truck was there so we had malasadas and then went to McDonalds for a drink.

Great Outlet Experience

By joharaje |

Something for everyone and at good prices. All the top brands with sale stock. Obviously the latest lines are not here, but unless you hate shopping, you will get a better price than in NZ or Aus.
There is also a good range of food outlets.
The only downside is getting to and from the centre. We used Roberts, Hawaii offering a full sized coach, with plenty of storage at the cost of around $20 pp and you need to book (pick ups from most areas in Waikeke) and confirm a time for the return trip (we left at 9.30am return 4.30pm).
You can howver use public buses, drive, taxi, uber etc, but for a tourist, using a service such as Roberts is easy.
Only advice (learnt this previously) - bring an empty suitcase or bag to the centre as you will be lugging a lot of bags around (also, there is a compuldory 15c charge and next year....bags will be banned - any sort as oart of a government program).

Worth a visit

By MichelleM50 |

We booked our return shuttle for $10 each to go to these outlets. Even though the Australian dollar isn't great at the moment there was some fantastic prices in coach, up to 70% off, Michael kors, Tommy Hilfiger for kids, and Adidas 40% off storewide.
There are food outlets such as kfc and mcdonalds across the road. There is also a number of food trucks serving food.
We could only see one set of toilets amongst the shops so they get busy and were not clean.
Once you arrive go to the information desk and you will receive extra discount book.

Great bargains and genuine discounted items

By David W |

This discount outlet of premium brands is worth a visit or two. Great discounted prices at all shops. We visited twice and bought quality clothing at about 60 to 70% off normal prices. Just off freeway and we found our way here with our rental car. Plenty of parking and not over crowded. Highly recommend

Outlets shopping

By Tourist824961 |

Worth seeing if you are hunting for a bargain on luxury brands.
A huge complex with great stores with varying discounts.

Average

By Emma21 |

Having already read reviews online we didnt expect much - and glad we set this expectation! The variety of stores were very poor and I found that the general stores in the Ala Moana were much better. We spent less than an hour here.

Disappointing

By mitchia |

We stopped by this outlet mall on our way back from the north shore. It is definitely not worth making a special trip to the outlet from Waikiki. It has limited stores selection and is probably the worst prime outlet I have ever visited. Additional stores would make a huge difference. apparently they are getting underarmour in 2020 but that's not enough

Mixed Bag at Waikele

By MissWellington |

My friend and I booked a shuttle with Roberts for a day trip to Waikele Premium Outlets

We both brought some Kate Spade bags which were a great price. However, we expected there to be more of a range in the other shops.

As we had read in other reviews it was actually cheaper to get some items at places like Macy’s- especially Levi’s

If your really keen on a designer bag or sneakers know what you want and head there. Otherwise I would give it a miss as if your from NZ it’s not as good as Dressmart in Auckland or Harbour Town in The Gold Coast of Australia

DEALS DEALS DEEALS

By Scott S |

To be frank the watch and handbags (according to the missus) were the best things here. Other stores such as Ross Dredd for less are cheaper.

Pretty good shopping

By Betty |

I’ve been coming here for years, never left empty handed. It’s about half hour drive from Waikiki. Always arranged my tour from hotel or through Roberts of Hawaii. $18p/p return trip. On this occasion, I have left a Coach bag behind and about to email Coach to see if they have found it and wether they can post it to me. Will update review once I know. Note: count all your stock to ensure you have taken everything from store.

Bargains galore

By Duncan P |

We must have timed it right. Even the outlet stores were on sale. Spent heaps and can home with 3 large bags of clothes and shoes for the whole family of 5.

Caught the bus from Illekai there- took 1 hour 15 but the were few stops and a car wouldn’t have shortened it much. Quite convenient and cheaper too. For a family of 5 including one student and one child we each got a day pass (but it in the bus as you get on but before you put money into the machine). $5.50 an adult, youth and child half price. This gives you all day use and we used it to go into town for dinner and back. Good value. Also get the Moovit app. Saves a lot of time trying to figure out bus routes / timetables / bus stops. Does it all for you and easy to use. Definitely a fan.

Limited number of food shops but the “...wok” was good value and tasty fast food. Fried rice, bourbon chicken, deep fried chicken, beef stir fry and more. Your choices.

Factory outlets were generally good and value able to be found if you look. All 5 of us got some good bargains. We left town at 900 am and got back just before 5.00.

Kate spade

By MsKaradel |

I was here on vacation and I was told by my friend who live here in Hawaii that I should check out this outlet. I was really surprised by the prices. Usually back home Kate spade is very pricey. I bought a nice sling for less than $100. I would definitely recommend to my friends!

Shopping galore

By Lindatravelista |

Went to Waikele while in Honolulu and shopping is ok however not as good as expected and a was a little disappointing. For outlet shopping you would expect cheaper prices than in Waikiki however found this not to be the case. Whole complex could do with a revamp. Not as good as once was.

Average experience

By Laroz |

We visited Hawaii recently. It took an hour trip to get to the outlet. Many shops, such as Polo Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch, now sell goods at prices that are close to full retail and no longer match typical outlet pricing. However, we found some bargains at Tommy and Banana republic.

Lost Some Stores, but Still a Good Place to Shop

By romadaro |

Not as good as it was before the pandemic due to the loss of a few stores, but still a good place to shop, although prices are competitive with many of the same brands full priced stores. Not a lot of bargains here, but a good option if you're staying closeby and don't feel like venturing into Waikiki.

Probably better places to shop

By AJLCA |

Disappointing after all the hype. Savings were ok but we didn't spend as much as we could have.
Probably better to shop at Ala Moana centre for a better variety.

Great outlet

By Elsa M |

Great outlet great for shopping. Only bad thing is the parking and long lines in certain stores. However, great deals.

Research the brands first

By Ronni68 |

If you are after bargain shopping this is maybe not for you.
If you are after brands at cheaper prices, then it’s worth a trip.
You would only need about 2-3 hours here, so don’t plan a big day.

shopping trip

By Paul E |

great place to pick up a bargain. everything from sports stuff to quality clothes and accessories. suggest you shop here first before shopping in Honolulu.

Not huge selection but bargain to be had

By TheBiebs |

This centre was about $18 return trip from our hotel.
There is a good selection of shops but not as big a selection of some of the USA mainland Premium Outlets.
That being said we still picked up some excellent bargains with the obligatory Kate Spade handbag stop.
Not a huge range of food options. Also not much undercover area if it rains or is super hot.

Certainly worth a half day trip to get some bargains.

5th visit to Waikiki and Waikele

By TravellingGs |

Waikele’s not the biggest outlet mall (Florida and Vegas are huge) but we shopped up a storm, as we have done in the past. It’s definitely worth the trip. We pay a lot more for everything in Australia, so brands like Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Michael Kors, Guess, True Religion etc are so cheap in the US it’s laughable. We did extremely well even with the terrible exchange rate.
You might think that a couple of hours are enough, but allow longer.. if you’re anything like me, allow much longer..

Not very big

By Kelly K |

This is not a typical outlet that would have two to three times more stores. 30 min drive from Waikiki. Probably not worth the effort to get there

Regular thefts

By AA D |

Car broken into and over $1k shopping stolen in carpark. The Police & Security Guard tell me 'smash and grabs' are a regular occurrence at the Waikele Premium Outlet. According to the guard, Simon Corporation (the owners) have known this has been happening for years but not installed surveillance cameras or done anything to prevent this - absolutely disgraceful !

Buyer beware!

By RosieMeerkat |

I am a savvy shopper and you need time and product knowledge to really assess if you are getting a worthwhile bargain here. I am Australian and when I converted the price to Aussie dollars the "bargain" was not so appealing any more. If you have the time, look up the product online - you may find it cheaper to buy from home.I came with the intention of giving my credit card a good work out and I bought nothing.

Check Prices

By J2259SFcruiser |

My wife and I like so many went to the outlets booking through our hotel. Although we spent 5 hours looking around and buying clothes and other items, make sure you know the price in your own currency before purchasing or go to Ross dress for less as we noted items we bought at the outlet at sometime better by 50%. Ross is great for all clothing and home wares and toys etc and is certainly worth a visit before the outlets, and if we had we would have bypassed the outlets.

Bargins Galour Cheap Cheap Cheap$$$$$

By CVMF1-Australia |

Our Family went here 3 times on our visit to Hawaii and we were there on the presidents sale lots of outlets with 70% off ...did we shop OMG we bought heap at amazing prices. The outlets have a lots of high end store at heavily reduced prices. We went by uber one day and then caught the $5 bus from Waikiki ...we booked that with the people with yellow sign in the main street
If you want bargains on you must go here

Surprisingly good

By Štěpánka Č |

We were surprised, we hadn't expected such good shopping. Of course we bought more than we even wanted and now we're worried about packing. More places to cool down and relax with a cup of coffee or a min, would be more than appreciated.

Small but very nice

By NorCal-traveler08 |

Needed a bathing suit for my granddaughter. They have both Carter's and Oshkosh. Great selection and they were having a sale! It was easy to find and park.

always worth a visit

By nzsarah2016 |

if youre staying in waikiki then a visit to waikele is a must for some great shopping bargains. make sure you go across the road to the food trucks and pick up a malasada from leonards!

Bargains Galore

By Gwen M |

I absolutely loved the discounts. Saks fifth was my highlight as they carry a lot of brands under 1 store. It was worth the 1hr drive there. We used the shuttle for $10 return and shopped for about 5 hrs before we were picked up by our return shuttle. Definitely worth the trip to the outlets. We bought too much stuff and we had to add extra luggage on the airfare. I will definitely be back.

Great for adults

By Emily |

Got some great bargains at GAP (next door), Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Joined up with Simon Premium Outlets and downloaded the app, which happened to give me an extra 20% off on that day (offers change all the time). Clothing is quite conservative though, so not much for teenagers. Lots of free parking. Open until late.

A must

By Lucinda J |

We shopped till we dropped five hours later heaps of bargains bring an extra suitcase from home to carry it all back

Wow!

By Leah W |

Amazing place and we easily spent 6 hours here! Know your prices and know your conversions! We went on a long weekend so the specials were even better and I saved a bucket load! Food shops could be better. Drinks accessible throughout!

Bargain shopping

By lesley h |

Went here for a bit of bargain shopping ; certainly got some in the guess shop and famous shoes ; actually got some sketchers in there cheaper than the sketchers shop that was also at the outlet ; some of the shops there still seemed expensive to me but it all depends on personal opinion , was told there was a very good sports shop there called sports authority but unfortunately it closed down 12 months ago

Best mall on island.

By Adam |

Best place to shop on island. Plenty of stores and not overpriced. Plenty of places to eat and parking is easy.

Shopping

By grannieannie65 |

We have been here a number of times and always end up spending more than we wanted to as there are bargains to be had. You can catch shuttles from Wakiki. There are some cheap shuttles but they are old buses and cramped . I would suggest paying a bit more and use Roberts of Hawaii as they have lovely coaches with great seats and air conditioning.

Shopping Tours

By KylieM2401 |

Good variety of stores; length of tour was perfect. Shopping centre across the road is also good. Some good bargains. Food trucks are available for lunch stop but also has a McDonalds, KFC and Chillis.

Great shopping experience.

By Sandra A |

This outlet was a great shopping outlet. We caught a bus which cost us USD5 each. The shops were very good
Especially the Skechers shop. We arrived early so managed to avoid the crowds. Later in the day, it became very crowded, probably due to it being on a weekend.

Don't bother - prices nothing special

By TravellingAussieMum |

Good points - plenty of parking, combine with Pearl Harbour if you have a hire car
Bad points: retail pricing at most "outlets". Feels like a tourist trap. Inadequate signage means you need to install an app to find where things are.

Typical Outlet Mall

By Mike P |

This is your typical outlet mall with the major name brands represented. In addition, there is a food court and food trucks on the side parking area.

Waste of a day

By thumbzee |

What a waste of a day! Most stores had not much stock at all! A lot of the stores were closed or empty. And prices were not cheap at all!

Found some very good bargains, but you do have to hunt for them

By Kittykaz |

I know that the locals say that the US mainland outlets have much better prices, but being from Australia I thought this outlet was superior to what we have in Australia in terms of product range and prices. We easily spent 5 hours there (1 hour or so for lunch) and stll missed some of the stores so I consider this a full-day experience if you want to cover most of the stores. I recommend looking up the store directory before your visit and plan ahead to avoid getting overwhelmed and wasting time. Not everything is a bargain either so you should research the RRP ahead of your visit.

The children apparels were very well priced and the range was very good. Coach was great too but the queue to pay was massive so allocate enough time to get through the queue. There were car ride-on trolleys available for hire and my 5yo happily sat in while we shopped.

We took an Uber from Waikiki to the outlet (which took around 35 minutes) and then we got tickets at the outlet for the Roberts shuttle for our return trip. Obviously a bit more expensive than pre-booking return tickets with Roberts but we wanted the flexibility of being able to get to the outlet at our own time. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and the shuttle trip to the outlet would have taken us over an hour because the HHV was the first stop and the shuttle then makes its way into Waikiki for all of the other hotels, which we thought would seriously test the patience of our 5yo before the shopping even began.

Food options are very limited at the Outlets itself - overpriced and unappealing. We walked over to the MacDonalds across the road (5 minute walk approx) and enjoyed our fast food treat there.

Average nothing to die for, better deals in the continental is states

By bryanmantezoni |

We just saw a lot of Australian and Japanese people buying like it was the last day on earth thinking that they got hose discounts but in reality if you are a good shopper like us , you see these are not discounted prices for us living in the US maybe things are way more expensive in Japan or Australia but for us it was not a wow factor, visit ONLY if you have spare time otherwise don’t waste your time in this beautiful island.

Well worth a visit

By Catherine C |

Spent 4 hours here and definitely found some bargains. You need to be patient and be prepared to look through racks to find good clothing. Best value for money was Coach, Adidas and Calvin Klein. Worth a visit.

OK

By OZS_ATW |

We just dropped in here 1 hour before closing. We had limited time so we visited only 3-4 shops. Parking was easy but keep in mind that it was in a big area.
Anyway, it was a nice strip mall.

Worth the visit

By Wijitha G |

Very good shopping outlet worth every cent visiting this place. You can get a shuttle from waikiki. Adidas and tommy hill finger outlets are very excellent prices.

Honolulu outlet centre

By mastermuzz |

Needs a few more toilets. One male toilet is a joke. Great shushi shop. Sax Fifth Ave smelled as if everything was wet and mouldy. Some good bargains. In all probably worth the journey but only just.

Some great bargains

By Phil M |

Travelling ex New Zealand. Took an uber XL from Waikiki ($71) and taxied home ($65 plus tip- agreed fare-Charleys)- we were a party of six so that seemed reasonable, and I think we saved enough to make our day worthwhile even considering transport costs. Children insisted on McDonalds for lunch so that was the food taken care of... Plenty of shopping variety for us and by NZ standards some of the prices were truly extraordinary, including a number of brands simply not available at home. Glad we went, and next time we are back in Hawaii will def visit again. Stayed 4.5 hours, could have stayed longer.

Kate Spade, Coach & Skechers worth going!

By Lynn Y |

My husband and I got extremely good bargains for bags and wallets in The Kate Spade and Coach outlets. The prices were way cheaper than if I were to buy the same items back in my country’s (Malaysia) premium outlets e.g. one of the bags we bought only cost us less than USD100 but costs USD225 in my country’s premium outlet! (Yes, we checked when we got back)The stocks were also not exactly off season so if you’re lucky you can find current season items on sale.

Bought 2 pairs of shoes from Skechers for just USD80, both were still selling in normal stores in my country for double the price. I was a very happy woman that day!

We only allocated half a day here hence could not cover more shops. Do spend more time here to give yourself more time to bargain hunt.

Something to take note would be that the lunch area does not have sufficient seating so you will need to wait by tables for a space. No issues for couples or individual travelers who can stand or sit in random spots, but for families with children, you might want to eat earlier before the crowd or later once the lunch crowd disperses.

Some bargains but you have to search for them

By Sinead C |

Was expecting massive sales in every store. The sales we got were good but not consistent in all shops. Be careful to read the signs clearly to make the most of the sales. Staff were pleasant and welcoming most of the time. Parking was minimal based on large numbers of people - we used valet for $10USD plus tip. Food choices also minimal - we went across the road to eat and get Starbucks.

A Half day bargain shopping

By Peter E |

We had a bad experience with Waikele Xpress Shuttle who billed us for a no-show even though we had advised by phone and email several times of the change of date. Then they thanked us for going with them !! So avoid them. So, we re-booked with Waikele Outlet Shuttle who only take a deposit so you don't lose the entire payment if your circumstances change. They went well until they failed to collect us at the Outlet at the appointed time. We then had to phone them only to receive a convoluted and aggressive response. They eventually delivered via a Lyft transfer.
So, transportation aside, it is worth a half day and there are some genuine bargains.

Outlet

By AussieCastaway |

We didn’t look or buy anything of what we could buy at a similar price in Australia. We have outlet shops on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, so a lot of it we’ve seen before.
I did however buy a Coach 100% leather backpack for $113 which was discounted from $473. Even with an appalling AUD (.50) which equates to about $170 it was a steal! I also bought a couple of leather coin purses with wristlets.
My hubby bought a T-shirt and some joggers but other than that we walked away fairly light handed as we found Ross’s (in Waikiki) was better value for brand name shoes when you take into consideration the cost of the bus, which in our case was USD $18 return each.

Amazing outlets!

By Laura C |

My partner and I headed to the outlets on Labor day because the sales are generally better on the holiday. This year I didn't find much for myself (the fashion just wasn't as good) but my partner did very well, especially at Adidas and Asics

Labor day is always busy and the outlet is open air (shops are air conditioned) so it can get pretty hot and crowded. We went back later in the week and it was much quieter and easier to shop but some of the extra sales had ended or weren't as good. We still found some great bargains though. I did find that generally the sales for men were much better than for women.

We originally booked our return shuttle for pick up at 10.00am from Waikiki and then return shuttle at 3.00pm but changed it to 4.30pm as we really did need the extra time. This was easy enough to swap so you can play it by ear.

There isn't much to eat here so head to the McDonalds across the road for a cold drink and something to eat

Ok if into designer gear

By Jacqueline F |

Sketchers store great the rest ok if you are into your top labels. Take the bus outside duty free store which will cost you 10 bucks faster

Shopping for Bargains

By Shaun T |

Had a good session here with the family. We picked up some great bargains for the family and friends. Some really good deals but def need to spend a full day there. Be nice to get a few more food and coffee options there.

Average compared to another mainland outlets

By andy07495 |

I was not impressed and not what I expected. There are not many shops and you can find better bargains at local shopping centers.

Great outlet shopping

By GCPurple |

Although exchange rate not great , we got some unexpected bargains as we shopped over Memorial Day long weekend. We caught shuttle out for around $9 each way which was perfect. We spent 3 hours and did about 1/2 of the shops, the ones we wanted basically. Great way to start our Hawaii trip. Make sure you know your prices and of course exchange rate.

Great discounts

By melmA6173CK |

I took a shuttle bus from Waikiki to the outlets, which was $10 return, and took about 30 minutes.
All of the stores had great discounts on there products and I recommend a visit here if your looking to buy designer brands.

Good but too many people. Maui better.

By Cherie Gemmell |

Was ok but a lot of people. Bit more choice than Maui Outlets but not as good an experience. Not as good as mainland outlets vs Vegas or NY.

Bloody great bargains

By Laura_DK |

I have never had a bad shopping experience here. The discounts are a plenty (travelling from Australia). I really like the bags shops ie Michael
Kors, Coach and Kate Spade. Also across the road is a Gap outlet which is also fab. We got the first shuttle in and the last shuttle back. Not enough time to visit every shop so prioritised

A good place to shop

By Jelena C |

Easy to get to with a $10 US shuttle fare for the return trip. Not as large as I expected, but definitely the cheapest place to purchase clothes, shoes, accessories in Honolulu. Easy to navigate U shape open air shopping module, so it's not confusing to remember where you have been. Allow a full day to really choose the best bargains and don't forget to go to the shops located at the bottom section around the food area. Friendly customer service, which is the norm for Hawaii.

This is a must to visit

By Boris L |

The bags, shoes, shirts...etc are very cheap compared to the shops in any shopping mall. Highly recommended.

Outlets in Hawaii

By ariesmac |

We went here on our last day to kill some time before our 8pm flight. It was a very hot day and I am glad we went! They had some great deals just like I find at the Outlets in Denver, for example 70-90% off Coach. They also had a line of Food Trucks on the West and East end of the parking lots- we went to a Mexican one and had wonderful food!! It was a great little stop on the way to the airport with air conditioning on a hot day!!

Great Shopping

By Karen O |

We took a bus from the hotel, it was $16US. It was well worth it, the extra discounts alone from a booklet the driver gave us paid for the fare. We had 3 hours there and I could have had longer, but it was more than enough for my husband. I can’t wait to go back.😀

Typical outlet mall

By copperiw |

Factory outlet mall, the ladies love them, seats available for the men to sit and wait, just make sure you take your wallet.

Such a let down

This place was highly recommended by a few people so maybe we went were there at the wrong time. The shops where mostly high end shops, only 2 of the shops had a really good sale but sadly it was all last seasons left overs. If you are heading out there I wouldn’t recommend going on a group tour, we finished all the shops in just over an hour and then had to wait 2 hours until the bus left and then an additional hour on the bus to get back to Waikiki.

Aussies in retail heaven

By belgaicas |

Spent a great three hours here stocking up on Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Bahama and more. Great value for us and who cares if it is last season stuff!

It was such a successful shopping trip we had to buy an extra suitcase to carry it all home.

We got a shuttle out with IES $54 for three of us return - we got a discount booklet because of that which gave us extra 10% off a few things which paid for the shuttle!

Nice space, interesting deals but the lady at the information point of the center unfriendly or even unpleasant. Free Wifi.

Hand cuff your wife

By Steven V |

The guess shop alone will make any woman lose her mind. My wife got 7 bags for tge price of 1 in australia. The calvin klein store is great value. It is a fair drive to get to it but you can get busses or taxis. There are food outlets there so no prob finding a coffee.

Aussie shopping destination

By shannonbrehony |

SO MANY GREAT DEALS! Make sure you get one of the destination passports or download the simon.com VIP pass app and you will get extra discounts. We saved quite a bit of money this way! Everything still cheaper than Australia.

Great shopping

By Claire S |

I didn't buy as much as I wanted because there was no way to store it and no trolleys to carry it. Huge business opportunity there

Very nice small complex with designer stores

By mariedesjardins |

You could easily spend a couple hours at Waikele although only 50 stores. Food trucks are in the shopping complex across the street and in the outlet complex too. Leonard's bakery for malasadas in located in complex across the street at the back. Depending on store inventory and season, time spent can be more or less than a couple of hours. Roberts Hawaii offers a shuttle to the outlets and upon arrival, you can choose departure times. If you need more time, you can always go back to their stand and see if a later time is available. Last visited in June 2018. Usually coach and Kate spade have very good sales on.

Expensive but a couple of gems

By Jennie C |

Firstly. Don’t pay $18 for a shuttle from your hotel. There are stands around Waikiki that will give you a pamphlet for a shuttle that will take you for $10 (return). They will even collect you and drop off at your hotel. We got a pamphlet on Ala Moana Blvd near Hobron.

We found the outlets to be mostly the same price as the shops in Ala Moana Centre and Waikiki Beach. There were some exceptions Tommy Hifleger, sketchers, and a couple of bag places. But overall we got better bargains at the Macy’s sale

Ridiculously good!!

By AT124 |

Visited the outlets today and wishing I came with an empty suitcase. Everyone was raving about it and you won’t understand until you get there. It is amazing and you will need the full day so don’t bother coming home early. Up to 90% off at Coach and Kate Spade. Many people go back for a second day it is that good!

Good deals to be had

By nz_travels_a_lot_08 |

Some great end of season deals were available throughout. Banana republic had some amazing prices. Some shops were the same as (or close to) high street prices, so best to check out the prices in Ala Moana first before heading here.

Not enough benches/ resting places

By Kenrover82 |

A good range of shops available. Just take note that there are very few places for resting, so if you have kids you should bring a stroller. The food options are also not great unless you plan to walk a little further, so bring some snacks for the little ones. You may see a long queue for the toilet in the middle of all the shops, but there are actually more toilets right at the end of the shops, so go look for that instead of queuing in the sun.

Bargains but know your prices

By Tina16flight |

We took the Roberts bus to Waikele from downtown Waikiki . Easy service and were given return option times when arriving there so you could choose how long you wanted to shop for . Do think it is easy to drive there if you have a hire car and the car parks were patrolled by lots of police and security on bikes so it felt very safe. Also lots of car park spaces. Outlets were great we particularly liked Ralph Lauren, Coach, Kate Spade & Tommy Hilfiger. Australian shoe prices were similar to their outlet prices so not really many bargains there. Bargains like a $230 handbag for $70, purse $85 for $18.Not many good food options out there though. Not the biggest outlets I've been too so are easy to walk around.

Bargains to be had

By Rodney J |

We took the Roberts bus to and back but there is plenty of parking if you are prepared to drive. We were given coupon booklet which give us additional discount off the instore discounts. All the big name brands are there. Worth a visit for all you shopping needs.

Awesome deals

By Sakamotofamvaca |

Great outdoor mall, lots of shops to choose from and great sales. Kate spade, coach, Banana Republic and Tory Burch had the best deals. Adidas had good deal but not so good selection same as Sunglass Hut.

Good retail therapy

By Stephen C |

For those who enjoy brands but are looking for value buys, this is the place for you.

Most of the big brands can be found here, including Armani, Calvin Klein, Coach, Furla, Kate Spade, Tory Birch, Tumi, etc.

Shops carry both outlet only models as well as offer some of those that are available in retail shops elsewhere.

This is a very popular mall so be prepared to wait for a parking lot. There are also sufficient food options, albeit they are fast food and food court style.

Retail Therapy at its Best!

By Sonny Ali'ifa'alogo |

Huge outlet stores with previous seasoned items marked down. Parking can be a hassle but the road into Waikele is backed up about 100 Meters. Overall 8.8/10 experience :)

Tips I used;

-Book with Waikele Xpress Shuttle (Book online, $20US Return, pick up from most Hotels)
-Download Simon App (Got all the discounts on there)
-Wear comfy walking shoes
-Take backpack for smaller items and remember water bottle
-Toilets are not up to par, best to go before and after
-Try minimize the bags you carry, opt for no bag/box for shoes
-Plan a loop form one side to another
-Don't forget across the road has more shops and some eateries

Great shopping

About 50 shops, Levis, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Converse, Skechers, Gap, Polo Ralph Lauren, Vans, Swarovski, Plus a lot more

1st time shopper

By AJ Pato |

A little disappointed. The centre is about an hour from our hotel in Waikiki. We found a cheap transfer company near T Galleria in Waikiki. $10 return trip per person. Yellow signs outside the shops. Cheaper the Taxi and Roberts. The centre has very little tables or chairs to rest or eat at. The food was great. We’re from Australia and I loved the Levi’s outlet. 4 pairs of jeans later. Much cheaper than Australia. Our son had a ball spending his saving. I’m told the gear he brought would have costs hundreds more in Australia. Whilst it’s not the cheapest outlet centre I’ve been to we did find plenty of bargains. Worth the trip.

We expected to stay a couple of hours, but spent most of the day

By Jim L |

There are not that many stores, but the bargains are fantastic in many of them.
5 hours was not enough to buy everything everyone wanted so we'll need to go back.
We took a Roberts shuttle ($18 return trip) which was comfortable and a good option. Trip there from Honolulu central pick ups is about an hour (return trip was 90 mins in heavy traffic). We were on the last bus back, and it's pleasing to know they will wait a little while for stragglers.
Remember to get a "passport" on arrival from the info desk as this has extra deals for each store. In addition, be on the lookout for additional promotions when in-store on top of the heavy discounts - eg, at RL Polo we got an extra 25% off the 40% advertised discount.
You can also grab a bite to eat & drink, and there are restrooms.
I hate shopping, but loved this place.

Some really good bargains, but not a lot of range in women's fashion

By RacquiC |

Got some great deals at Coach and the sports brands. Not a lot of range in women's fashion so I didn't buy as much as I had planned to.

Definitely take the air conditioned shuttle to and from. We Ubered there and it cost just about $60, then we did the $10pp shuttle back to Waikiki. Wish we'd done that both ways!

Deals at Ala Moana and in Waikiki were also pretty good if you looked for them, so I'm not sure this was worth it except for Coach.

Shopaholics Dream!

Incredible absolutely loved it here got some great bargains and loved every minute of shopping here. Everyone was friendly and met you with a smile. Spent way too much here but loved it please visit the outlets here it worth it!

Shopping

By GS2013_13 |

We were just killing time before our evening flight to Vegas and a friend offered to take us there. The hotels do a shuttle from Waikiki for $18 round trip. As somebody mentioned the shops are not under cover so rather hot to wander around. I didn't see any food outlets but there are the usual shops so plenty of chiose.

Worth it!!

By Justin M |

We bought so many things from here that we had to buy another suitcase! The price was just incredible from Coach to Tommy Hilfiger to GAP, the sale is just amazing!! We’ll definitely go here again next time we’re in Hawaii!

Best shopping experience of my life

By Sindi D |

I went to Waikele Premium outlets not knowing what to expect, found the most amazing items on sale and bought so much to the point where we only left because we couldn't carry anymore bags. We ended up booking the shuttle through Roberts Hawaii (great service) to come back the next day and spent the whole next day shopping again. Love this place and I'm heading back there in November to do it all again. I can not wait!

Over Rated

By J P |

Took the street shuttle riding in an old banger of a bus, no air con, stifling! Waikele is a tourist trap and not convinced that the brands sell the real McCoy, much of the stuff appears to be especially manufactured for some of these stores and the price therefore artificially set then discounted. Regardless, a lot of people shopped with a vengance and seemed satisfied. Friends suggested we visit Waikele outlets but there's no way I'd pass on that endorsement to anyone. A tip, don't take the streetside shuttle bus. The quality of transportation and service is reflected in the price and its cheap, so go figure.

Bargain shopping

By sarah y |

Booked Roberts Hawaii $18 return and spent day out here.

You can search the retailers online but it includes CK, Tommy Hilfiger, Kate spade, michael kors, Adidas at 50-60% off

We were given a booklet that also gave us additional 10% off or free gift as well

Food trucks were good lunch options especially the Korean one was nice

Good shopping

By allblacksrock |

Heard this place was a hit and miss. We hit big when we went. My partner spent around $1000AUD at both ralph Lauren and tommy hilfigure. I myself spent around the same but I went to Calvin Klein, and gap and old navy. I can defintley see where it could be a miss though. You kind of have to hunt for things you want. Prices were insanely good, Ralph Lauren polo shirt for $16.50 USD, can't beat that price even with the exchange rate. Got myself a Kate spade wallet for $50, and guess sunglasses for $30... list goes on. I would go back, but as I mentioned don't go expecting it to be fantastic because there may not be anything but there may be lots. And if all else fails Ala Moana can fill in the gaps!

Good shopping

Well worth while but have deep pockets as you will be tempered to purchase items at unbelievable prices

Cheap prices

I rented a car to come here, costing more than 100 dollars. But it’s very comfortable drive and all highways were free of charge. I couldn’t many items with affordable prices. I recommend you to come here in the morning to evacuate from severe crowd.

Best outlet store

Soo love this outlet
Must visit and shop if youre in oahu

great bargains

By Michelle M |

We went for Black Friday and they were offering extra discounts to their usual sales. Get the discount booklets, free if you go by the shuttle or join online and check out what each outlet offers. If you shop at Clavin Klein on your receipt you will get an additional voucher for Tommy Hilfinger and vice versa. If you get the early shuttle to the outlets you get first choice of return time. If you are on the later shuttle you need to take whatever times are left. We got the early shuttle and the last one back and found we just had enough time, about half hour to spare.

Outlet store

By Snowy Hawaii |

Waikele shopping center is an outlet complex that has many stores which includes starbucks, jamba juice, genki, old navy, gap, petco lowes etc. on the lower side and other stores such as motherhood, skechers, Levi's, crocs, godiva, Kate spade's, etc on the upper side. Better deals than the mall, but not enough stores overall.

Nice to walk around, but parking in the upper area is horrendous on weekends, so best to park on the lower side since kmart left, and catch the trolley (free) to the upperside

Outlet Shopping

By Zenda J |

Definitely take a shuttle to get there. Designer shops were very good but Saks was just a whole lot of clothes that were jammed on racks that they probably couldn't sell in their main stores. Some good bargains to be had for sure but you do need to look around and this applies to all the shops.

Great deals

By Ray D |

very good buys, You must buy the shopping passport cost $10.00 us but worth it. Adidas store was amazing. Jewellery shop oppersite fantastic for watches and braclets. Need atleast 3 hours plus.

Get out there!

By John M |

There is some really good bargains here. We picked up some awesome deals at coach, CK and Tommy Hilfiger to mention a few these clothes are of quality. Some of the sales here are massive. I picked up deals up to 90% off on Presidents’ Day. Try to get there on public holiday sales to pick up extra savings !! You can take a public bus trip from Waikiki but you will need to transfer twice, the bus fare is only 5.50 return. The bus trip to the outlets will take about 50 minutes to get there. You can get an E Express bus back which is direct and gets you back in about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can pay 10.00 each way with a private company. They depart from the duty free outlets on the main road in waking.

Great for teens !

By Bex I |

Spent several hours shopping, it is an outside mall and spread out so you get your steps in. All ships are air conditioned to give a break from the heat. There are some bargains to be had you just need to spend the time to find them. Teenage daughter was super happy with her huge haul.
There are food trucks outside however if you want food inside your options are KFC, McDonalds, Chillis etc.

Lots of expensive labels

By debcol25 |

We used Waikele Xpress shuttle as they had an online deal of $10pp return from Waikiki to Waikele and they pick up and drop off from your hotel.
It was our 3rd time visiting Waikele over the years. We didn't buy as much this time as we were only shopping for ourselves, not our kids.
My partner got some sports gear, we both got runners and I bought Swarovski earings. They were all great prices.
We are not into expensive labels such as Coach but if you are this place would be great.

Well worth it - kids loved it

By AmandaJP1970 |

Had a great day here - lots of bargains - we all shopped shopped shopped - teenaged daughters loved it - laden down with shopping bags - we got the shuttle there and back / lots of bargains - staff very friendly

Waivering Waikele

By Nathalie E |

Have reviewed the Outlets multiple times.
I always go here when in Hawaii as I think it’s one of the best outlets across America and Canada. I had every intention of not going this time as last year’s visit was disappointing. But other family members wanted to go and so I tagged along.
The Sheraton Hotel shuttle now costs $18US per person return. There are cheaper shuttles but usually not air conditioned and old. This is a luxury coach. Reliable and prompt. Need to take this cost into consideration especially the current exchange rate. It was .76cents to the Aussie dollar.
Again, this year, it was a bit hit n miss. However, I still managed to snare some bargains.
Coach bag - $US350 + sandals $US150: both 70% off.
Clarins skin care - $US25: $US9
Karl Lagerfeld dress from Saks - $US325: $US75
Furla cosmetics bags - $US98: $US45
Nothing from Nine West, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Swarovski, which was disappointing.
Didn’t bother going into any of the other many stores.
I think Ross Dress for Less in Seaside Avenue, Waikiki is just as good if not better. Can get some real bargains there without the cost of the shuttle. You do have to look hard as everything is jumbled together. But worth it.
Daughter bought a Nine West bag at Outlets. It was a good price but found similar NW bags at Ross for half the price.
Discount passport not worth it. Got to spend lots of money in each individual store to get a further discount. Didn't use in one shop.
Next time I am in Hawaii I will think long and hard about returning to the outlets.
For a first time traveller to Hawaii its worth going. After your visit, you can then decide if it was wise or not.

Shopping at the Premier Outlets

By Kerryn B |

I have shopped in other outlets in the USA and this one is not as big when I compare this to others in California. Unfortunately for Australians with the dollar so bad, any bargains you may find are essentially the same cost as at home so unless there is something you specifically cannot get in Australia, then maybe it is not worth travelling to the centre.

Like any outlets, the goods available are "hit and miss", and this should be expected. Some stores I don't think were actually outlets, just normal stores. The crowds were big so be aware you may need to line up to get served. Also be aware that the options for eating are minimal, one a couple of choices and food pretty average.

The Outlets are quite a way from Waikiki - we caught a bus for $5 - operating from outside the DFS (duty free shopping centre). This bus service was interesting, so do not expect a good, air conditioned bus. I am pretty sure the bus we had did not have the winder wipers working, it was raining all the way back and the driver did not use the wipers at all! I suspect they did not work.

It you have a hire car, that is possibly the best option, but I would not go out of your way to go there if it is all too hard to get there.

Worth the Trip? You Be the Judge....

By romadaro |

We're in Honolulu every year for the holidays and always visit, although I have to admit it's not the greatest outlet center I've ever been to in terms of number of stores. Yet, it does have about a dozen designer outlets that offer good prices and real bargains. Oddly enough, many of the clothing stores have a great selection of cold weather gear (go figure!) and we always seem to find quality items that we never seem to find in the same outlets back home. They also have a large selection of designer handbag and luggage stores (Tumi, Tory Burch, Kate Spade) with one of a kind sample handbags and luggage items. We've gotten lucky a couple times and people always ask where we got it!

Outlets in hawaii

By travelocityknome |

These are great outlets if you are looking for shoes, sporys wear, sunnies, handbags and levi jeans. As a Melbournian I was expecting a DFO experience and was left feeling a little let down. However there are bargains to be had even with the exchange rate depending on what you are looking for. Food wise i would recommend the Mexican food van's shrimp taco and horchatta and the dippin dots icecream (oreo).

Great bargains at CK and Adidas

By Damo35 |

Calvin Klein was the pick of all the shops we went to. Genuine bargains to be had. Adidas was good too. A long way from the city if you don’t have a car but lots of tours available to there.

Great shopping experience especially if your from downunder

By Donna T |

If you are from New Zealand or Australia, then this is a must shop at destination.

We first looked at Ala Moana, to get an indication of prices in Hawaii, then we headed here a few days later in our rental car. But, I understand shuttles can take you here and back for around $20pp, and the bus is apparently approx. $6 each way (not sure where it leaves from though). So, might be worth looking into how to get here - we are a family of 5, so it was worth us using our rental car time for a shopping spree,

There’s a lot which is not available back home. We shopped just about every store, and we sure did get some bargains. My boys got Levis Tshirts for US$19. We got Tommy Hilfiger jumpers for around US$55. Some things at Adidas where cheap others items not so much. Vans shoes where cheaper at Ala Moana than here at Waikele. It's just a case of looking around.

My bargain of the day had to be a small Guess handbag - perfect night out bag, had an extra 30% off scored it for US$14.

My tip, when you shop at Calvin Klein, they give discount coupon for Tommy Hilfiger & vice versa. So ensure you look at your dockets - we missed out on this deal, due to not looking, and it was at least another 15% off.

Happy shopping people :)

Great prices

By Pula2405 |

Save your money and start shopping. Cheap for Aussies. So many shops but cheaper then in Melbourne for brand items. Tommy Hill were cheapest, but Calvin Klein was good too. This time Adidas wasn't very good.....Plenty of choice for everyone. Need few hours to go around.
We went there with Express shuttle for US$10 return.

Not as good as previous visits but ideal if you are a HUGE person!

By Neil M |

The Waikele outlets were the place to go in the past if you wanted a bargain for shoes, clothes, accessories or perfume.
We were underwhelmed this time around. The prices weren't much different than downtown Waikiki and the whole place seemed to be missing something ... oomph or mojo ...it's hard to define.
The most annoying aspect was that there was never anything available for men in medium or large sizes in what we wanted to purchase. There was some small, or extra large or extra-extra large x 3 but very little in the more common, average sizes.
We still bought a bit but only half as much as previous visits.

Good sales

By CNWgtnNZ |

We arrived at 12pm and despite the rain ( partially covered walkways) we managed to shop till the shuttle picked us up at 5pm. Excellent sales with 70 pc off in some stores. The food court was unfortunately not good in the rain so we moved to the other area which has more covered restaurants. We always come here for bargains when in Honolulu.

Not as good value as hoped

By OhMissbehave |

Not as discounted as hoped, this may be due to the horrible aud to usd rate. While found some bargains at clearance racks, mostly was a waste of time and similar pricing to aust. we found way more bargains though last season items at Ross dress for less especially hand bags and shoes. But if you looking for something specific or specific brand or this season the premium outlet Is for you but for us bargain shoppers stick to Ross. Their are two at Ala Moana shopping Center this is much better place to hit. All the designers brands are also at this Center and most had clearance section equal to the premium outlet.

If you love shopping .. you need to go here

By Yan669902 |

We have been here many times before but this was our first visit to the Black Friday Sales. We arrived around 7.30am (it was already busy and all the shops were open - I think from the night before). We parked in the lower car park (outside GAP) as the top car park was already full. Although most of the stores had ropes up to limit the number of shoppers in each store at this time we did not have to line up to enter any shops. As the day went on some stores had long queues (Coach) but most you could just walk in to.

With any overseas shopping (especially USA) you need to know your prices to compare if you are getting a good deal. We found anything on sale was generally a bargain but full priced items not necessarily. The Black Friday Sales offered bigger discounts in the morning (ie from 7-9am they offered a further 30% off for example). We found great bargains in Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Guess and Swarovski.

This is a great place to shop even without the Black Friday Sales, just know the price of things back home.

Shop frenzy

By Susan S |

This is a great place to shop the outlets and get some great deals. I like so many stores here Michael Kors, Vans, Famous Footwear, the perfume shop, Killinger, Crocs, Coach. Every store seem to have some kind of deal. There is literally everything for my entire family. And they have awesome food trucks in the parking lot for a quick and reasonable price and the have an outside sitting area.

Decent Deals for Hawaii

By Scott L |

We booked a shuttle, Waikele Xpress Shuttle, for $10. It was decent. It took about an hour from Honolulu. When we arrived, we were a little surprised inasmuch that it is much smaller than most Outlet Malls. A lot less shops. But, I think that was a good thing. Most of the stories are located in a horse shoe shape. But, behind the Information Services kiosk there is another suites of shops. It was quaint and enjoyable. People are super friendly. Prices quite reasonable. Some decent deals and definitely worth the trip. Depending on your shopping needs, 4 hours is more than enough. Plus, the drive out and back is scenic. Helpful Hint: If you do not want to eat from the food truck, across the road from the entrance of the mall is a WalMart, Subway, Sushi place, KFC, Starbucks. So, some nice and cheaper eats, away from hustle and bustle in nice air conditioned establishments. Would recommend this mall. We have been in many throughout the United States, and this was more boutique style. Quite nice, actually.

Still looking for all the bargains

By djbjt |

Often touted as the reason to come over from Australia so you can get a good deal.
WHY? The majority of the outlet shops are high priced international labels and the discounts don't really justify the trek. There is the occasional good deal but not many and then it's still expensive. The discounts vouchers offered are not of any real value as you have to spend big first to get any benefit. I got a good shoe offer 2nd pair at $10 from Clark's and some trousers in the clear-out section at Saks. Other than that, with the exchange rate I'm sure you'd do just as well at Australian outlets and you'd be supporting our economy.

Not worth it

By Anna E |

We found some things for the kiddos but in general I felt that most shops were dirty and messy and the deals are not that amazing really. Not recommended!

A great shopping alternative away from alamoana

By RTF |

A nice way to spend a day out for shopping. Have been a couple of times but did not have time to check out the other side of the road until this time round. It's a great outlet which would b even better if Macys woman were there also along with a few more shops for plus size..con we like shopping too..but apart from that we had a gr8t day shopping

What a Waste of Time

By Vicki S |

I had such high hopes for these outlets, but after paying $55 for an Uber there from Waikiki, I was bitterly disappointed. It was a very hot day and this outlet comprises individual shops outside...not undercover in a mall. Most of the stuff was upmarket brands I had little interest in. Stores like Adidas hadmsime bargains but were a fraction of the size of the Las Vegas outlets. Tried to get a coffee but there was just one non-airconditioned shop staffed by one person. We lasted about 40 minutes before leaving empty handed. We went to the Ala Moana shopping centre on the way home where Macy’s had a huge range of discounted stuff; there was Ross Dress for Less, Marshall’s and a whole range of individual shops. It was miles better in every way.

Barely average

By monmouthprof |

Limited stores limited variety of goods. The most unimpressive Simon outlet that I have been too. Too many people with limited stores, plus the restrooms were small and reeked of homeless people who were sink showering while I was there at 2 pm on a Tuesday. Forgettable.

Clothes etc shopping for everyone

By David C |

The best way is by shuttle from Waikiki as you can see the sites from the Air conditioned bus on your 50 minute trip. You will find all sorts of clothing, shoe and other fashion outlets and some food places for a snack if needed.

Great outlet but out of town

By TheNayzer |

Waikele outlet is out of town, but worth to go shopping. There are many brands offered and the prices are definitely cheaper than where I am from. Salespersons were pretty friendly in any shops but extremely helpful at Coach.

Too bad, it closed early on Sunday (the day we went).

You will need a couple of hours

By Bob B |

We spent a few hours at the outlets. There are plenty of shops with all major brands and in most cases heavily reduced prices.

Small but good

By Craig C |

As outlet shopping goes it’s quite a small Centre. Good range of stores and (coming from Australia) large discounts on prices. Small number of dining choices if spending a long time there. Probably 2-3 hours is enough to see everything.

Shopping day trip

By LFC24CHCH |

Paid to get a shuttle bus out to these outlets as I wanted to do some shopping and my wife and I were not disappointed
The shuttle was $20 per person return and took about 30mins
The outlets themselves were very good and although we were a few days early for Black Friday there was still plenty of bargains to be had
Also quick mention there is a chilli’s restaurant there as well as mc Donald’s but the chilli’s was really good so would recommend going there
Would visit again when in Hawaii

great shopping

By jolo |

Worth a trip to Waikele Outlets, shopping great we got many good bargains from handbag, clothing & shoes.

Not bad

By Christine D |

If you’re looking for bargains you’ll need to look hard. Value is not bad but number of outlets was disappointing compared to mainlan USA.there are a few more across the road that no one mentions including GAP and Old Navy. Found some great bargains there. Still worth a visit. Kids clothes at Carters and Oshkosh were very good value also

Well worth it

By Stewart P |

Loved the shopping there although was brief will go back before we leave
Great name shops with awesomely low prices and specials

Great Selection of shops

By Kylie G |

Enjoyed quite a few hours shopping here. Great selection of stores and despite Aussie dollar not being that good still managed a few great bargains,

Worth a visit

By Karla D |

I had read lots of reviews about this place and really wasn’t sure if it was going to be my thing. Turns out... it was! We shopped at Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Guess, Vans, the Last Footwear Company. It was great! The prices weren’t too bad but there was plenty of choice and for us New Zealanders, lots we can’t buy at home! I would recommend a look.

Not all Bargains

By EvaL299 |

As the AUD$ exchange rate is not as good as previous years the bargains can be hard to find, therefore being mindful of this and the Tax when I was making my purchases.

The outlet normally sells out of season stock, discontinued or specifically made for the outlet. I found if they did sell the current styles it was the same prices as the mall. Make sure you collect your discount book/voucher from the information booth.

There were some stores offering really good deals like Guess, Coach, Michael Kors, Ralf Lauren, Kate Spade had 70% off full price, Tommy Hilfiger had a section 70% off sale items. This outlet is the only place to find a bargain compared to the Mall.

They have a variety of food options and food trucks on the other side like Leonards Malasadas, Laverne’s Hawaiian Food, Shave Ice etc

I recommend taking a Shuttle bus from your hotel, normally $10 return. There are public buses but are not direct and some walking would be required as I did this on a previous trip.

Overall you can still find bargains at this outlet and still worth the trip there.

Worth the Drive? You Be the Judge!

By romadaro |

I’m not terribly impressed with this outlet center since it’s out in the middle of nowhere and it has a limited number of stores. But the ones that are here are pretty good with Tommy Bahama, Calvin Klein, Coach, Tumi, Polo, Armani , Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs and Saks Off 5th. The rest (and there aren’t many more) aren’t even worth mentioning. So if you’re looking for a designer handbag, which has the most stores, this outlet center is a good option. Otherwise, I wouldn’t waste my beach time!

Alot of the same type of shops

By Andie2010 |

Well we have these outlet style shopping stops in Australia and well this one didn't to me come up to par on style or price reductions other than Skechers and Osh Kosh.
Iguess I had higher expectations to find bigger bargjns at a retail outlet but can say I've been and conquered. I actually got better prices at Macy's department store in Ala Moana Shopping Centre than here for Guess handbags and better selection also.

Calvin Klein great!

By JMW2014 |

We took the $5 each way transport option from Waikiki - watch out for more expensive options. Look out for the guys in floral shirts with the placards and then go with them to the $5 bus. I loved the shopping - but my husband and kids didn't as they felt there were issues with size availability etc. But its like any outlet mall, if you find stuff in your size and in the brand you want its so cheap and so good, if not then maybe places like Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx are better for you. Make sure you also get the discount book from the information centre with your bus pass.

Not much of bargain

By akm193k |

I used to love going to Waikele for good bargains, but I didn’t find any good bargains this time. I found Ross Dress for Less stores have many bargains and are a lot cheaper. I don’t think I would make a special trip to Waikele any more.

Great deals and value for money

By Angelism |

Shopped here from 11-7. There was plenty of parking.
The deals in Coach, CK, and Tommy were fantastic. Polo RL, Clarks, TUMI and Fragrance store were disappointing.
Cole Haan also had a good collection of flats and shoes.
MK also didn't have many discounts on the bags. Their jackets and trench coats were nice.
Food: disappointing. There were food trucks and some restaurants with average food.
There was no facility to show your passport and get an additional discount but you can show the deals on the app and sign up (first-time shoppers) for additional discounts. Some stores were located 5 mins away from the main clusters. We didnt have the time to shop there
This is a must-visit place when you go to Oahu. We didnt take the shuttle and went ona weekday.

It’s an outlet

By Isaslbc |

We went with nothing we wanted in mind. They had okay sales but nothing that we MUST have. We crossed the street and went to old navy outlet instead! I was happy!

Don't Bother

By LivDaley |

It’s $16 round trip or $10 one way from Waikiki. I feel bad for the Asian and Australian tourists who flock there. They must not have outlets in their counties. I went because it’s hard to find Barney’s fare discounted. But the shop was 2/3 men’s and largely Barney’s own brand. I picked up a $489 pair of Philosophy heels for $164. So it wasn’t a total wash. But I was done inside of two hours. The other highlights were Kate Spade and Tory Burch. But they didn’t have the range of stores nor the range of goods in the stores as outlets on the mainland.

A Must Do

By Trisha C |

Had been here in 2013 and it is exactly the same. In saying that it is a great place to spend a day if you are looking to shop and great cheap bargins are to be found there. The places to have a meal needs to be improved but otherwise a must for the shoppers

Shopping heaven!

By LcChia |

Best place for shoppers, great deal for usa brand, big sales in DEC, me n wife bought alot, went twice in 7days trip.

Worth the visit for the Levi's store

By DINKZ |

Considering this is an Outlet shopping centre it really didn't impress overall with the discounts. The only store that I actually purchased anything in was the Levi's store so a little disappointing overall.

For the ladies

By Peter S |

Went by bus a round trip about $18 USD return with discount vouchers if you want to spend a few hours here you need to get your return voucher quickly on arrival as most late departures go quickly. You probably need 3 hours to look around & eat. There was a few bargains to be had mostly clothes , shoes & homewares for the ladies. Being Aussies the exchange rate did not make most items cost effective

Great day shopping

By elly w |

Shops were very good. All areas were clean and plenty of seating whilst waiting for friends shopping. Plenty of areas to eat and enjoy family and friends time together.

Meh...

By Sydneyboy8944 |

Some things are ok priced but dont be lured into inflated tags. This place is not the bargain like many mainland centres. Its pricey but still cheaper than same stores in Australia.

Discounted overpriced brands...Levis still over 100usd. Sketchers are cheaper back home....etc.

Pleasant but so-so

By honeymooners160110 |

Went here with great intentions of buying lots due to people's past experiences. It was probably busier than usual due to the outlet being closed the last three days due to Hurricane Lane so had three days worth of shoppers there! The line ups to purchase things in some shops were wound around, down the back of the store, back up the side etc, that put us off buying a few items.
No good places to eat there and lack of toilets. There was a good variety of shops and there would be something for everyone. We hired a red car/prom/stroller for $6 for our kids and were happy with that value.
The Coach shop was excellent but a lot of the clothes shop didn’t have the types of clothes I like.

the shops were not what I was interested in. Sketchers would have have the best shop there but not enough staff

By Susan B |

these shops are good but not alot of variety sketchers was the stand out for me but once you got in to the shop their was hardly any sales people to help you abit of a let down

Unbeatable shopping

By Mik0120 |

Possibly the best outlet shopping anywhere. Great brands and great reductions. The merchandise is first quality, not lesser quality brought in to the outlet and the prices are terrific. The facilities are great and the staff in all of the shops we visited were so friendly and helpful.

Power shopping -3rd year in a row

By CNWgtnNZ |

We were picked up at Embassy suites at 9am and arrived at the outlet at 935am by a shuttle service organised by our awesome bell desk.$16 round trip pp. We chose the 12pm return this time having been here 2 previous years we knew which shops we were targeting. Great timing. Great sales. My favourite store Tommy Hilfiger had up to 70pc off!! Because I reached the $100 I got another 15pc off in the pocket destination vouchers you get when you arrive and show your shuttle ticket. That’s 6 tops And a pair of shorts for$108- what a bargain! My daughters got shoes for $5 and$10 at Nine West. There are all the good popular names here -Other great purchases to be made! Worth the trip. Our first trip 2 years ago ,I think we got there on the 11am shuttle and just made it for the 5pm back!! Today we were efficient and power shopped!

The store has changed a bit too.

By おとうたん |

With the weak yen and high prices, I thought I couldn't expect anything amazing, but I went there to buy a TUMI bag.
It depends on the reason for shopping, but if it's a brand that's also sold in Japanese outlets, I didn't feel like I was getting much of a bargain.
Also, at the Waikele Center across the street, Brooks Brothers had closed down and been replaced by Sephora.
It was a shame that Brooks no longer had any stores in Hawaii, including the outlet, probably due to bankruptcy.

Great shopping

By Kelly G |

We visited twice : 8 hrs then another visit of 4 hrs . Great variety, HUGE savings off Coach bags , Calvin Klein , Kate spade , Michael Korrs. Gap is across the road and is fabulous! McDonald’s & chili’s across road if you need lunch . Oh & Lenards donuts too ! Grab a shopping bus ($7-10 )cabs are expensive ( $60) one way

Great Bargains but need at least 3 hours

By chriss552016 |

We spent approx. 3.5 hrs at the outlets & had a look at all the shops we were interested in. We purchased from Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Saks Fifth Ave, Adidas, Perfumania, Vans off the Wall, Levis, Honolulu Cookie Company & Godiva. We could have spent a lot more time looking through Saks as they have a lot of brand names & we got some bargains.
If you like chocolate coated strawberries, Godiva had Strawberry Cones for $15 & were very fresh. We ate lunch at the Aloha Coffee & Juice place & the chips very nice but expect a long wait even if not many customers as their chips are made from scratch.
We used Go808 for our transport which were great as can book only for your group & they are always on time, stylish & clean van, great price & friendliest driver.
We have been to the outlets previously years before but didn't buy as much this time but was only due to not having the particular things or styles we were after.
Definitely worth the time going to have a look

Wow. Wow. Great shopping

By Jo A |

What a place. I didn’t take any pics. But I bought heaps. Lots of designer stores. Having said that all we’re having sales. Shoes clothes jewellery handbags and way more all at your fingertips. Do not miss this place

OMG!

By Cher P |

We had spent the day at Ala Moana and wish we had been here first. There were huge discounts in the Levi's store, bought 2 pairs of jeans for $25 US each and walked into Coach that was having a 60% off sale on already heavily discounted stuff. I was in heaven. A lot of the other places were pretty expensive once converting to AUD$. I would suggest going there with a plan, my plan was to find discounted sneakers for my kids in not just their current size but in larger sizes they could grow into. Both kids are good for the next 3 years at least! I did the same at Ralph Lauren, t-shirts and jumpers were 60% off. If you have small children, shopping with them will drain your soul because there is nothing stimulating for them at all, e.g no toy stores so try and leave them behind. Also catching the public transport bus each way was aweful. Try other people's recommendations for a tour bus. Remember if from Oz work out how much uou are really paying!

Shoppers paradise

By MegsM |

There are certainly some good bargains to be had here, and in the other few outlets across the street (GAP, Old Navy and Banana Republic). It could do with some more food choices as it really is a full day out.

Shopping

By tissie63 |

Great place to shop, make sure u go to information desk and sign up for even more great savings.
Check the currency before you go. Sometimes can get caught up in the deal but it’s not really a savings

Good bargains to be had if you look carefully

By Sue G |

I consider myself a careful shopper when it comes to bargains and I found some great ones here. Look carefully and Aussies dont forget to convert to Aussie dollars. My shoes went from 70 US to 100 aussie, still good price but it did make me curb some other purchases. Have fun wear comfy shoes and dont forget to hydrate :)

If you're after a day of shopping where discounts are to be had head here!

By Laura S |

We found the outlets to have some great deals, especially if you brought for example two pairs of vans and then you were able to receive 50% off the cheaper pair. This is not an outlet where prices are dirt cheap, but they are heavily discounted compared to Australian prices and or what I did see in Waikiki for good brands. We came out happy that's for sure!

Money saving tip: Catch 'The Bus' (E route, express) it's $5.50 round trip per person (cheapest option). It does take about an hour to get there and then you can walk the 10 minute walk to the outlets or take another bus for a small 2 minute drive. We found this option completely do able and saved a lot of money considering Roberts Hawaii is $18 per person.

Not sure you get a deal...

By GinaS |

We come to the outlets when we visit the island because we don’t have many of these stores at home. That said, I’m not convinced that you pay any less here. I occasionally find what I consider a good deal. Either way, we always leave with many bags full of merchandise!

So so

By dissin |

Good size. Just enough name brands to whet your appetite

However prices in general sucked. DFO in Australia is cheaper. Decent discounts like 70% were available in about 2 stores, so those were ok. Most of the other places were high. Even after the discount, or buy 1 get one free/discounted %

At least Leonard's Malasadamobile Wagon (donuts) made up for everything !!!!!

Good fun and lots to choose from

By Tasmanfever |

If you are from NZ/OZ, it’s a fun way to spend a day as there’s a lot which is not available back home. We shopped at literally every store and a later trip to stores in Ala Moana Centre confirmed that there were good savings at Waikele.....and that little kiosk selling Thai food in the middle had more flavoursome food than most restaurants on Kalakaua Ave. One tip, when you shop at CK, they give discount coupon for Tommy Hilfiger & vice versa so make sure you don’t purchase everything in one go.

A must in Waikiki

By Chris C |

Been here many times and it is always a worthwhile trip. Heaps of major brands and major discounts over retail. Lots of transport options and food choices

Waikele xpress shuttle is cheap to get here.

By kiwiflyer10 |

We booked the Waikele xpress shuttle for $10pp return it was cheaper than a few others. The picked us up and dropped us back to our hotel. The outlets are good. It’s deceiving when you arrive there as it doesn’t seem very big but we were there for 3 1/2 hours and that felt a bit rushed. We would recommend you organise your bus times so you are there 4 hours or more.

Good Price

By Byron L |

We visited this outlet twice during our recent trip. Very good price for some brands. Each member of the family bought something. My only complaint is the lack of parking spaces. You may need to drive around for some time to wait for someone to leave to get a parking space. And food choice is pretty limited.

Samsonite Outlet Store

By Ronald Y |

I was looking to buy another suitcase. Went to Samsonite outlet store in Waikele Shopping mall.
They have a great and friendly staff there. They'll explain the new features of the Samsonite. Great discount, 20-40% off.

Good Deals - mostly

By Deepak H |

It maybe after Xmas sales but got some very good deals particularly RalphL and TommyH. Levi’s was still expensive. Worth doing for 1/2 day at least

Fantastic shopping

By Christine F |

We went to Waikele Premium Outlets twice to do some shopping it was that good. Expect to spend a good 3-4 hours at least on your first visit. There is a good variety of shops with so seriously good discounts and some very good labels. Coach, Guess, Ralph Lauren, Polo, Saks, Adidas. You will not be disappointed in the variety and the prices.

Shopping was good

By emily s |

This is a nice spot to shop for items you may not see in your own country but I wouldn’t necessarily say it was cheap (but can also depend on where you are from for conversion rates). Being from Australia I found things weren’t cheaper but different to what I see at Home. We did enjoy ourselves here looking at all the shops. I was pretty happy to purchase a leather jacket from gap, sneakers from adidas and a handbag from Saks off 5th. I know the rest of the group really liked coach, Tommy Hilfiger and adidas.

Really depends on what you like to buy and if shopping is something you can/want to fit in to your trip to hawaii. I know some members of the group thought we could have spent less time shopping and others went back the next day.

Some Great Deals

By Vladimiramirela |

Keeping in mind that Hawaii is not a cheap state, this Outlet Mall offers some excellent deals. The main trick is to know roughly what you are looking for and go to the stores most likely to offer those items, otherwise, one may find that time is running out and the big, fat, satisfying bargain you came for it still hidden from you.

Average range of stores

By Shell C |

i was expecting there to be more shops to chose from. There was still some good things there though. It was hard on a wet and cold day not to get wet though

Make time to stop

By NewZealandKiwifamily |

I wasn’t particularly keen on stopping at this outlet mall but ended up thoroughly enjoying our experience. The teenagers managed to find some good ‘buys’ and 2.5 hours later we left! The people in the stores were all very welcoming and polite (even though we were dressed very casually after a day at the beach). The stores were all beautifully presented and complex was very clean and tidy. We even found some lovely casual dinner in the dining caravans tucked around one side. The Hawaiian music playing in the background as you strolled around was very relaxing. I realise that ‘Labels’ aren’t for everyone, but if they are for you - it’s worth a stop here.

Interesting

By Carolyn Burcham |

We caught 2 buses out to the Outlet as we thought we could pick up some bargains. We went to Starbucks & enjoyed a cappachino. We then realised that a section of the outlets where being renovated & walked over to the other side. In the end I found some lovely clothes for my grandson & somehow I picked up a beautiful handbag for myself. The main problem was lack of toilets & seats to sit down on to have food! But we enjoyed what we saw & brought.

Bargains galore

By Shopaholic021 |

You can either drive yourself or there are certain buses that you can take for $10 round trip. If you take the tour bus your ticket will get you a Destination Passport which gives you even more discounts on already discounted items....Got to love that!
If you love shopping then definitely worth the visit.

By ultraviolet |

I’m not sure this is worth a long trip, especially if you have outlets where you live. But I don’t have any in my current city so this was a treat. Bargains are mostly in the handbag places like Kate spade and Tory Burch where there is a significant discount of 40 to 70% off. Very Bradley had a huge selection also. Nice snack places too. This is a great way to spend a couple of hours if you have spare time.

Nice place to shop

By Isra |

Great brands and options. If you need casual or Hawaiian attire... this is the place to go! The mall is sky open so be ready to feel the sun.
Do not forget to eat behind the mall, several food trucks with great options

Okay but I would take a trip from town to go here

By Ruth G |

This outlet center is on the small side and lacks many of the shops I usually see at similar locations, but I was able to find something I wanted to buy. There's a nice Vera Bradley store that was having a fifty percent off sale and seventy percent on older merchandise. I bought a large cross-body bag, and now I'm sorry I didn't buy two. I walked around the mall, stopping at other stores like Nike, Avanti, Off Saks Fifth Avenue, and Coach, but didn't make any other purchases. There's good parking. If I had to describe the center, I'd call it a little run down.

Good offers

By ioram |

It's okay the ride.
I think you need several shops and food alternatives, but across the street there are several options to choose from.
There are very tempting prices on several brands we found.

Waikele Outlets

By Dee |

We did not rent the car, instead we were riding the bus but finally got there after 2 transfers from Waikiki. Nice stores with brand name, we got Hawaiian shirts and leather bag, happy to go back to Waikiki using bus pass 5 bucks for the whole day!

Shop till you drop!

By Karen M |

We went on a Tuesday, lots of places had 70% off. Got some bargains. $18 there and back on bus is value for money. About 36km (20 ml) from Waikiki. Took 10am bus, there nust after 11am.. Not being one for all day shopping, had basically done 90% of shops in 2 hrs, and ready to leave. Therefore, decided to catch taxi back at $65.

Great selection

By Paul Walsh |

Great range of brand stores with some fantastic prices - I went with family during the after Xmas sales and got some great bargains. It was a really nice way to spend a rainy afternoon. Enjoyed being outside rather than in an indoor mall like Ala Moana. Will definitely return!

Great shopping for an Aussie

By traveller-janie |

We weren’t sure we would get any bargains coming from Australia and the current exchange rate. Even so, we shopped til we dropped and my husband - who hates shopping - wanted to return the following day! We bought a lot of kids clothing - great brands - and shows. My husband decked himself out in new Tommy and Ralph Lauren things while I bought some Calvin Klein and a beautiful Kate Spade handbag at a fraction of the cost it would be in Australia.
My tip would be to use a shuttle service from your hotel - they cost about $20 return.

Waikele discount shopping centre

By suzanne m |

If you take the bus allow couple of hours to get there.
Best option is to take shuttle from hotel.
Shops - not that cheap.
Very spread out so be prepared for lots of walking.

Okay... not the most fantastic though!

By busymumsydney |

We visited for a few hours and was about USD30 in an Uber from the Waikiki beach area. Plenty of shop choices but offerings weren't much different from what we could pick up at home in Australia from a DFO (Direct Factory Outlet). While my sister picked up plenty of cheap kids clothes, we didn't find much else which fitted or was on trend.

For things like handbags, I ended up buying at in the Waikiki area in the regular outlets. Probably next time would stick with Ala Moana where it is an easy walk, great shopping and nicer environment to shop (plus well priced).

Some bargains to be had

By Valerie M |

Would recommend booking your $18 return coach with Roberts at the front desk of your hotel. Best discount was at Michael Kors with70% off and then another 10% when you spent over $200.

Really wanted to buy from Coach but store was chaotic.

Bring your own shopping bags to save a little bit of money as they are $0.15 each.

Join the VIP club online for further discounts.

Good Variety of stores

By Diamond Kendall |

We came here for some fantastic deals, but some of the stores I went to are higher priced then the department store version.. My daughter was lucky to find a few items that she really liked. I on the other hand wasn't so lucky, but I did enjoy going to nearly every store in the outlet. Across the street there is a starbucks and Old Navy outlet as well as Chillies and McDonalds, They also have more traditional food trucks right beside Old Navy. We ended up taking a city bus from our hotel, it was quite a long ride there and back, next time I will definitely do the shuttle bus. After shopping we were hungry and thirsty and went across the street to Chillies, and shared our views on this out door outlet!! Great way to spend the day!! Grab a starbucks coffee across the street and venture back to the outlet!! I will return for another shopping day on my next trip. They also have a nice little food court , has some good variety in the centre part of the outlet. Food trucks are also just off to the right of the food court, cant miss it.. lots of variety there too, but we opted for an air conditioned sit down restaurant and we chose Chillies across the street!! I just don't recommend taking a city bus like we did,, it took over 2 hrs to get back to our hotel..

Great if you want Adidas or ASICS but....

By Kylie O |

We were very disappointed as the range of stores did not live up to the hype at all. No surf brands etc. we nearly turned around and got an Uber straight back. However, we then found one great isle of shops and got some incredible bargains at Adidas, ASICS and True Religion Jeans. We’d recommend this to other kiwis for bargains and items you won’t find in NZ at these stores, but if that’s not your scene don’t waste your time going.

Same Old, Same Old

By romadaro |

We made our annual trek to Waikele during our recent visit to Oahu and nothing’s changed here. No new stores, but Coach, DKNY, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Swarovski, Saks Off 5th, Tommy Bahama, Tumi and Armani, among others, are here, although the prices are beginning to rival their full line stores. Nevertheless, it’s worth a visit, although a lot of the merchandise appear to be made exclusively for the outlet store as I’ve seen very few of the items in their full price stores or online.

Waikele Premium Outlets by Public Bus.

By Agro_Sydney |

Over the years we have gone to Waikele Premium Outlets by Roberts Hawaii or by car. This time we purchased a one day bus pass for $5.50 each and decided to try TheBus public bus route E (Express) from Waikiki and change at Paiwa St and Hiapo St for bus 433 to the Waikele Premium Outlets. We asked the driver to let us know where to get off the bus and change. We caught the bus about 9.10am from Hobron Hobron Lane across the road from the Ilikai Hotel and it took under 1 hour and 15 minutes. The bus trip was great, airconditioned and comfortable.

If you are from Australia and show your NRMA, RACQ, RACV or AAA etc card at the Waikele Premium Outlets Information Booth you can obtain a Discount Passport with discounts for most of the stores. We received $25 off at the Adidas store when we spent over $125. My partner always gets a bargain on wallets and handbags at the Guess outlet. There is a Levi outlet but I suggest you check the prices at Macy's in Waikiki first before you go to the Outlets.

Another tip is to join the Waikele Outlets VIP Club for free online before you go there for another way to get a discount passport.

It was well worth the trip by the public bus. Make sure you check bus schedules online for the return bus times.

Shopping spree

By Emmeline M |

We have been here 2 times now and found the first time 3 years ago much better. They don’t have the big sports clothing store across the road anymore or K Mart which I was excited to go too but my bubble got burst! Lol
In saying that we still spent a lot and would go back again! People are friendly enough to help the experience be a fun one! Would recommend being there the whole day to get it all in!

Stop In For A Quick Shop

By Rory_Ali |

If you have a car handy it is worth a stop at Waikele Premium Outlets. There was an average selection of shops however our personal store needs being Coach and Michael Kors delivered the goods with a great products and awesome discounts.

There is plenty of parking and a range of dining options as well. We timed our visit just before noon, shopped for an hour or so and then had lunch. This left plenty of time to continue to drive around the island with our new purchases in hand.

GREAT DAY SHOPPING

By NthShoreTraveller |

Allan Hashem from Allan Trans & Tours Mobile: (808) 383-2776 picked us up from our Waikiki hotel at 8.30 and was so funny & entertaining on the 45 minute trip to the outlet shopping @ $16 return. We could return back to our hotel at 12, 2.30 or 5pm. Chose to return at 2.30 which was enough time to look at the shops which included Coach, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Calvin Klein. Small food court type area with very limited seating. Had a nice Thai meal. Shop there did good smoothies. Also good sushi shop.

Quite small, But good

By Amber Y |

My friend and I took a really cheap shuttle we found advertised in the street ($7 each way from memory). I guess you get what you pay for (Big of a shambles to get there...... but we did eventually and safely, so all good). The Waikele Premium Outlets is MUCH smaller than the outlet mall in LA, but I found the prices to be better here. There were good specials on at the stores and can very easily get around the mall in 5 or so hours (or less). Stand out stores were Kate Spade and Coach which both had 60% off+ additional 20% off on the day. I bought 2 x handbags and matching purses @ incredibly cheap prices. Ralph Lauren Polo had lovely clothes at great prices as did Tommy Hilfiger. Loved the banana republic store but the discounts weren’t much off. Was disappointed the Nine West store had closed down. Was a bit surprised there wasn’t a food court there at the mall, but there are some food trucks out in the back carpark. These were actually much better. Much tastier food. Delicious. Really enjoyed our dishes.
In summary some good bargains at some good key brand stores. And you don’t have to allocate a whole day to check it all out.

Worth the trip

By KylieJ |

We were looking for something to pass a few hours and decided to head out on the memorial long weekend. We arrived around 11am and visited the stores we wanted which was about 1/2. We got some great bargains due to some big discounts for the long weekend. Make sure you know your prices and exchange rate. We got some amazing deals in Banana Republic, Sketches and Calvin Klein. Recommend shuttle bus out and back which is around $9 each way.

savings galore

By Belle410 |

As an aussie traveler the sales here are unbelievable!
Coach was my favorite shop - with 70% off all stock I came back with tonnes of goodies.
We also purchased from sketchers and guess. The chocolate shop Godiva was a great end to a good shop.

Nothing special

By Tommo |

Whilst I am not much of a shopper I visited this outlet for my wife.

We used their shuttle service (Waikele Xpress Shuttle ) who charged us a reasonable $10 return per person and collected us and dropped us off direct to our hotel.

I had a quick look around the outlets and because of the poor value of the Australian dollar I didnt really find any bargains. My wife did purchase a few items.

I had many hours to kill so had a coffee at Aloha Coffee then walked across the road to Chilis Mexican and had a great 2 course $12 lunch and a few beers.

The alternative to Ala Moana, the huge choice less

By Fabien M |

A nice outlet, quite large, with shops next to each other, outside. Food trucks to fill you up. This is a much cheaper alternative than Ala Moana! Levi's for $16... hard to do better, right?
Enjoy.

Awesome prices on an amazing range

By Adam W |

This outlet centre is just awesome. Top brands and many with prices that will blow your mind. As with many outlet-type places it pays to know your product on check pricing as you shop to make sure you are getting a genuinely good deal as it is easy to get carried away. Things such as Levies for US$39 or Converse limited edition sneakers for US$35 are the sort of offers you can expect.
We drove and parking was a hassle so I’d recommend taking a shuttle from one of the tourist centres.

Like premium outlets

By eva |

Small but enough outlet with the most brands at the market.
Not so cheap compare to USA but still good prices if you are shopping during discount/sale promotions.
Some sizes may be sold out and sometimes crowdy at Christmas but still very good!

Average

By Sven2rock |

We expected a few more stores. Great place to buy a handbag if you need one.
Not as good as mainland USA outlets

Fantastic bargains.

By Jackie1510 |

Caught a shuttle from our hotel - USD$16 each. Well worth it - the public bus does go there but it takes much longer and it is not direct. All of the premium brands are at special prices. I bought Levi, Vans, Sketchers, and my all-time favorite, Vera Bradley. All much cheaper than in Australia. My husband was very patient! Tip - take a big bag or buy one there to put all your purchases in.

The Premium Outlets are just like any other outlet shopping center but if you want a high quality souvenir then there is one place that you can go here: Reyn Spooner. Everything in the store looks so nice and they have something for the whole family. The staff was very friendly! I made my husband go there, and before going in he said he would look but he wasn't going to buy, but when he came out he was bringing a bag.

Waste of time

By Maureen C |

Outlet in name only. No great bargains & no areas to relax with a drink. V disappointing. I got better bargains in the shopping centre stores than at the outlets. Don’t waste your time

Shopping in one hit

By David D |

Very good selection, shopping in a great comfortable setting.
Good brands great discounts, something for everyone I am sure.
Food and beverage selection is poor and pricey, take water at least!
Transport there is a mixed bag, the deal offered by the hotel was good except they don’t explain the wait time. Do you tip the bus driver,? I dunno!

Worth the visit

By John M |

plenty of bargains, Levis especially, easy to get around, certainly worth the visit, all the top stores with great sales

Could have been better

By Jo M |

After doing the outlets in Vegas last American trip I was excited! I was quickly disappointed. Expensive and really just a few shops not really an ‘outlet center’

Shopping

By tracinal |

Not very exciting. Very small for an outlet. Not many stores and not much price difference than regular prime stores.

OMG... I love this place !

By cyndy66 |

These outlets are well worth a day trip, I spent ages in the Guess and the Swarovski outlets and the crocs one as well .. the Guess watch I bought for A$90 I saw for around A$300 upon my return ... and similar discounts in Swarovski as well as heaps more choice
Lots of extra discounting going on around thanksgiving /October if you can plan your visit for then
Will be back !

Family outing

By Danika C |

We really like all the food truck options the outlets have now. It is on both the upper and lower areas.

Know your prices

By Kerrie L |

We were here in 2015 & then again in April this year. The Aussie dollar is terrible against the US$ at the moment whereas last time we got amazing dollar for dollar exchange rate. The main thing at the outlets I think is know what you would be paying at home before you buy. If it’s something you cannot buy back home then do a rough check on your dollar so you know if you’re getting good value. There are still some great bargains to be had & we certainly did some good shopping! Levi’s & Tommy Hilfiger to name just two. Happy shopping!!

Shop here first

By tuataraTaupo_NZ |

Well worth a day's shopping, go there before shopping in Waikiki. We had a bus trip included in our holiday package but there are plenty of shuttles that go out there. We shopped at Adidas, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein and Guess. Everything was on sale and then there was extra discount on top, plus you get a discount book for extra discount again, so really good shopping.

Definitely worth a visit

By Stay67605212668 |

There were some good deals here - particularly in Coach, Armani, Armani Express, Levi and Clarins. Famous Footware is a great shop, although it depends on your footsize as to whether you'll find something. If you are a US Size 10 and upwards, you're fine. But if you're 7 to 8 - you'll struggle. Definitely worth a visit - you'd be unlikely to find no deals that suit you.

Know your prices

By WENDY L |

you need to know what really is on sale and a good buy. Consider material, is it past seasons?

Somethings did not seem on sale at all. Inflated prices and then a sale on the inflated price.

OverRated

By 49philt |

We found interesting merchandise at really good prices at just one outlet. We spent the rest of the day in a frustrating search for value and found nothing. Many (maybe most) outlets sell the same stuff at the same prices in their Waikiki or Ala Moana outlets - so save yourself the US$36 per couple round trip cost of the coach trip.

A really annoying model adopted by several big name brands is “buy 1 and get x off your second purchase” or variations thereof.

And lastly, we were frustrated several times with items and or sizes not in stock.

International traveler to Hawaii (Melbourne, Australia)

By Manny T |

Love the shopping experience all the name brands. If timed properly super bargains are available during the sale periods. Always a must when holidaying in Hawaii.

Some good discounts

By 930waynel5 |

Fairly easy to get to my The Bus for $5.50 all day pass.

All the top brand outlets are there but I didn't they were all that many deals. We some good deals at Sketches and Vans.

There is also more outlets (Gap, Brothers) in the lower car park plus McDonald's, KFC, Subway and other food outlets.

NOT SURE OF BARGAINS

By LANDY31 |

Still a lot of bargains although the number of shops have declined since COVID. Not sure if you cant get just as good deals in downtown Honolulu but worth the trip.

Great shopping for the whole family

By Nigel H |

We decided to go to Hawaii (versus mainland USA) as we hoped that we could get a mix of island life as well as great shopping.

The Waikele Premium Outlets are a great place to do some serious shopping.

I got Levis 501's for $39 a pair (versus NZD$169 at home), Levis tops for $29 (versus NZD$99).

Then got Adidas track pants, Calvin Klein gear and more - all at significantly reduced prices.

If you're only after 1 or 2 specific items, then it might not be worth it. But if you're after quality products at prices much lower than you'll get in Australia or New Zealand, then the outlets are well worth the trip.

For those without a car (which included us), then the Waikele Outlets Express shuttle @ $10 return per person = absolutely the best value.

Worth a visit

By Chris K |

These premium outlets had a great selection and variety of stores to browse and shop from with some great discounts. Would definitely recommend

Not that big

By 33Glenn76 |

We drove up to the outlets and were a bit surprised how small it was. Only took us 30 minutes to go trough everything. There were a few bargins to be had, and it was good to get out of the busier shopping ares.

you just have to do it each visit

By SydneyBigRed |

Great place to bag a bargain, make sure to get a passport discount voucher book as there are some great deals in it.
Suggest to travel with Roberts Hawaii ,its about a 40 min drive and well worth it.
also sugest to take your airline carry on trolley bag to wheel all your bargains around rather than carry them.
works for me every time.

Love these outlets, lots of my favourite brands at cheap prices!

By MissRAust |

I love going to Waikele. A lot of people compare to Aussie DFO but i find them much better. I always get great bargains in Saks Off 5th, Michael Kors, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger. You just have to have the time to look around.
My fave purchase was a new bag/wallet combo from Michael Kors for $134 USD. Bargain!
I used a shuttle service direct from Ilikai where i was staying and it took approx 30 minutes and the return trip was great too!

OKAY FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS

By LANDY31 |

Caught the $10 shuttle from Waikiki and would never do that again. Absoluellty terrible service. Once there there were some bargains but not that great. Limited tiolets and not a wide range of shops. Only need a couple of hours, limited shade and food options. Went to MacDonalds over the road instead

Best bargains for designer brands

By Zelja J |

I shopped at the malls and at Waikiki and found the pricing expensive, especially when the A$ is so weak. Reviews on the outlet stores was mixed but I found them to have the best prices. The bus driver will give you a booklet with discounts so make sure you use those as well. My favourite stores and best value were: Adidas, Coach, Calvin Klein, Swarovski, Tommy Bahama and Tory Burch. The first time I only had 2 1/2 hours so had to return for another 2 1/2 hours. I'm sure there were more great bargains if I had spent longer there. Best place for designer brands.

Manageable designer outlet

By Christina R |

The Waikele Premium Outlet is located approx. 30 minutes by car from Honolulu. Since we were traveling with a rental car anyway, we stopped there. With around 50 stores, some of which were closed at the time of our visit, the number of designer shops is rather manageable compared to the outlet malls on the mainland USA. The mall offers some big designer brands where you can get some bargains but it depends on what you are looking for. There are also a few restaurants and food stalls with outdoor seating. Lots of parking spaces are available.
However, I wouldn't plan a whole day there and, if you're staying in Hawaii in combination with the mainland of the USA, I would prefer the larger selection of shops in outlet malls on the mainland, especially since the prices there are cheaper than in Hawaii.

Great place to stock up on your wardrobe and accessories

By dt3012 |

It is such a nice place that we visited twice as there were so much to buy. Compare to other outlets on the mainland, it is not large but large enough

Not worth the drive

By Denise S |

Not a lot of shops. This is a very small outlet and the drive is almost as long as the shopping time. Better shopping at Ala Mona. Save on the uber fare or shuttle fare and just don't bother. I have been to outlets at New Jersey, Los Angeles and Las Vegas which have all been worth the visit but this place is just too small.

Mega Shopping

By Justin S |

There’s a lot here and some great discounts IF you’re looking for something specific.
There’s a lot of “high end” representation and whilst my wife and daughter had a great time, my son and I spent a lot of time waiting outside stores.
Do try the food trucks in the side car parks however as there’s some great options.

Not as good value and range from previous trips

By guntongeoff |

This was our 4Th trip to Hawaii. We have been to the outlets on multiple time each trip.

This visit the range of products weren’t most current.
Prices/ discounts were lean.

Having said this we did find good deals that were still cheaper than back in Australia.
Do your research before you go. As in general I found better deals at Ross dress for less stores across there various locations in Honolulu. For clothes, footwear, sporting goods, cosmetics products for my wife and daughter.

Shopping outlet okay experience

By Chrissy.e.Jones85 |

The Waikele outlet shopping was okay. Not too many fashion options but good for shoes and handbags. 1 to 2 hrs is enough at this centre. Food options were limited.

Small and not that good

By Olivia L |

I’d only been to one other premium outlet in mainland USA so this one pales in comparison in size. It’s small and not much to buy. I did come away with a few bags of things for the kids, and a handbag from Coach.

Exceptional Outlet Shopping

By romadaro |

My wife and I go to Waikele every time we're in Honolulu and always find some great bargains. It has a wonderful mix of stores with designer labels and upscale merchandise that you don't generally find in most outlet centers. The only thing that I don't like is that is seems to cater to foreign tourists more than Americans with coupon books and credit card deals that aren't available to US citizens. I have no problem with foreigners coming into the country and boosting our economy as long as the deals that they get are also available to our own citizens.

3rd visit

By smudgy66 |

Best time shopping everyone is so helpful and they make sure you get your discounts and bonuses when applicable. I just love the Guess shop and been there 3 times and they still remember me and are always so helpful, friendly . I left with items from Guess , Coach,Tommy Hilfiger,DKNY,Calvin Klein, oshKosh B’Gosh , Perfumania etc . Great day of shopping

Shopping at Outlets

By jjones76b |

If you know what you want and it is available you will get a discount. However many shops offer US veterans discounts ranging from 10 to 15% - I presented my Australian veteran card and got the same discounts. I got a watch for son valued t $450US for $99 less 10% vet discount. A lot of shops and I recommend starting at one and going around in a circle otherwise you will miss some - staff is all shops were super friendly and helpful - not many food outlets but food OK.

Great day out

By SuziiQ |

We took a shuttle out to the outlets at 11 and returned at 5. We had so much fun there, there are heaps of shops catering to everyone such as Adidas, Tommy H, Sketchers, a great Clark’s outlet, Kipling and Guess. We got things for everyone in our families as well as ourselves. The Aussie dollar is very low at present but we were still able to get some bargains as most of Waikiki is full of high end designer ships which are well out of our budget. It was a great day out.

Let's shop..

By Chris |

Great place to shop but some of the prices are not that cheap, still some bargains here, sorry found Ala Moana better on some item's. But still a great place to shop.

allan hashem

By herbie m |

allan hashem from allan trans and tours is a a killer we didnt stop laughing from the hotel outrigger to waikele outlets and back , he even picked us up and took us to the airport when we left to come back to australia

not as good as expected

By aundrea b b |

Whilst I did obtain a couple of good bargains I found that the outlets were actually no cheaper than the retail stores at Ala Moana.
I also did not think there are a large variety of stores here.

Long Wait..to get to the Outlets

By Joanne_Saunders87 |

We organised the bus transfer to the Outlets from a man we booked a tour with earlier in the week and he made a phone call...

How it went ....we waited at the Grand Hyatt hotel pick up...we were picked up by a lady in a dodgy looking van.

The lady then dropped us to where a guy was selling the $10 return bus tickets to the premium outlets. The line was so long...However he assured us when we were halfway coming out of the van... that because we were picked up, that we would be next on the bus....we waited over an hour...still nothing.

Finally a bus arrived, felt a bit unsafe it looked like it was falling apart.

When we did get to the outlets we found the sales were not that great...we probably only saved $10 AUD on some items due to the currency conversion of the Australian Dollar...we left the outlets a bit underwhelmed with the sales at adidas.

The staff were nice and the food trucks are to be recommended. Especially the Korean food truck.

You could probably get a better deal at Macy's.
We left there feeling like the effort to get to the Outlets wasn't worth it but that was due to the dramas of us catching the $10 bus.

Shopping day

By Jane R |

This isn't a bad trip for the day prices are fairly good in most stores you do have to make sure you remember to convert the $ back to your own country so you know how much you are actually paying.. The best store for us were Guess, Tommy hill, coach.. Make sure when your there you go out the back to the food trucks to get some great Korean bbq food.. To get there if you don't have a car see your concerge at the hotel and have them book the bus. The cost is 18$ pp for a round trip.. You leave about 9 ish from Wakiki and can return from about 2 I suggest you get the latest bus back so your not rushed if you really enjoy shopping..

Definitely worth the visit!

By Angeliki P |

We went on a rainy day from Ko’olina with Uber for $25. Planning to spend just 2-3 hours there but we stayed 6!!!! Just to be clear, as others mention below, if you are from other states of America this place probably is not for you. We traveled from Europe so those prices on brands like Tommy, Nine West, Calvin Klein, Polo, Guess etc are just a dream for us! We found discounts 60-70%!!! Especially on Tommy Hilfinger’s kids collection we found trousers for our little one for $5 and a winter jacket for $20!!! I brought 3 pairs of shoes from Nine West ($15-20) and Polo T-shirt for $17!!!! My husband found Calvin Klein trousers for $19! Such a bargain!!!

Not so many things to eat there but who cares :-) … Some shops had huge queues, like Kate Spade shop, so we didn’t go in at all.

Definitely worth the visit!

Worth a visit but know your prices

By Mandy687 |

There are plenty of stores and lots of labels. Make sure you hunt around for bargains tho as not all prices are a good deal. Some prices are the exact same as normal stores. There are good deals to be found. A bit lacking in places to eat. There is a normal shopping mall across the road that says it has a food court. We didn’t go but could be worth checking out for more variety. We got a shuttle from our hotel in Waikiki $16 round trip and it was worth it to be hassle free.

Great place to shop

By Michelle T |

This is by far one of the highlights of Hawaii, especially if you love shopping, for an Australian the prices are phenomenal. 3 pairs of Calvin Klein trunks for $25 US, approx $35 AUD. Vans T-shirts 3 for $30, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger t-shirts $20. Lots of ladies bag shopping as well

Long way for very little

By Julie L |

Quite a hike on the bus from Waikiki, not a lot in the stores and what was there wasn’t at a huge discount. Better shopping at Ala Moana

Nooooo

By califcasl |

You go to paradise and you spend your time in an outlet mall shopping for discounted "designer" merchandise available at any decent mail and outlet mall? There's a special kind of stupid running rampant in the land.

Some bargains

By mgthomlinson |

Spent four hours here and wished that we went back to ala moana center, found that the levis outlet to have the best deals,505 $39.99 each when you buy 3.
Asics similar price to Sydney.
Apparently different days different specials, japanese chinese seem to love this place and have separate deals to the rest of us.
We found Ross dress for less had heaps of bargains, samsonite case's $59 were 220,men & womens clothing very cheap.
Macys had specials on that were very good.
Ala moana is our tip.

As always a good shopping day

By Dave A |

We always head here early in our holiday and as usual the shops were good with plenty of great deals. As for all outlet shops the variety was good. With the adidas shop now open again since our last trip there it offered two sports outlet shops. The rest was up to the usual good standard. Recommend going there first before shopping in town.

Not a great range but some good prices

By JTWWeller |

Have been here several times. Sometimes the bargains are good and sometimes not. With prices in Australia so reasonable, the exchange rate makes "bargains" in the US hard to find. Nike used to be a expensive at home and a bargain in the US but nowadays I can buy Nike cheaper at home.

However, some of the luxury brand prices are great. I visited Coach - a brand I would only window-shop at home - and on the day they were offering 70% off plus another 25% off. You'd never see that here. I got some good bargains at Gap. Even though I could buy online at the same price, the overseas shipping is what stops these types of purchases from being good deals, so I was happy to grab some great sale items.

Nice Brand Outlets

By Michael M |

This place is well out of Honolulu, about $40 in an Uber, but it’s worth the trip. There are 60 or so stores representing most of the big brands, and there are some great deals to be had.

Worth coming to

By Phil-Joel |

My wife is a shopper so this was always on her list of things to do on our first visit to Waikiki.

I’m not a shopper but you know what, I “enjoyed” accompanying my wife here because:

* I bought plenty of stuff.
* The size of the centre is not daunting & is easily walkable.
* It wasn’t crowded.
* Getting food & refreshments was easy with no long lines.
* Getting to & from here was easy.

My only disappointment was finding Levi jeans were no cheaper than back home in Sydney.

Worth the trip from Waikiki

By Wolst |

Despite an hour’s shuttle bus each way this was still worth it. Best shops are Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic and Kate Spade, many of the others are a waste of time. Zoe good bargains were had.

Better than I thought

By Colourfulaussietraveller |

This is a small outlet but bargains are there if you look hard enough and have an idea of what you need. Kate Spade was great (although there was a line to get in and other shoppers were literally grabbing multiples of bags and products off the shelves so if you see something, grab it and don’t let go!), as was Vans, ASICS and Calvin Klein. In 3 hours I got around to about 70% of the stores, so would recommend a good 5 - 6 hours to see it all. The food options are very limited and expensive (eat a big meal before you go) as are restrooms. Plenty of free parking though!
I’d come back again if I had the time.

Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!!!

By Damon S |

Took the bus from Waikiki a nice I think 30min ride out expecting to be packed with shoppers on New Years Day but not to be, 4 hours is plenty! and had a nice lunch. Have been here twice both times has been a great experience, big sales everywhere.

Good shopping.

By Chi N |

If you are in brand names then it is a good place to shop. Centre has small size food court , locker for hire and limited shaded sitting areas. There is no play ground for kids. Recommend to visit Coach store.

🙌🙌🙌

By Andrea |

BIG brands, LOW prices.
Everything here is discounted and a must to shop. I bought bags and bags of branded items for under $300!

Coach sales are great during Annual Sale

By Dayle75 |

Overall, this Outlet Mall is like most one can visit anywhere in the United States. It should be noted that the stores are clean and the staff in all of the outlet stores are courteous, knowledgeable about their product, and extremely helpful to those visiting the island of Oahu.

Also, when This Coach outlet has a sale, the prices are quite good.

Outlet with lots of markdowns

By Rossana H |

I always find bargains for the family, also purchase gifts to take home. Xmas birthdays.
Great set up.

Fantastic Outlet of Shops

By Geoff G |

Love Waikele - this is a great outlet centre with good brand name shops - there is something for everyone.

Definitely cheaper than the shops in Waikiki or Ala Moana - I think the Adidas shop hooked a big bit of cash from us.

Well worth a trip for those bargain hunters.

We Ubered there and back from our hotel in Waikiki - because there were 5 of us - around $70 each way.

Food options are a little limited but you can always wander across the road or be adventurous and try one of the food trucks at the back of the centre - is excellent offerings.

Great sales!!

By Family_Holidayyy |

It was Lunar New Year so there were extra promotions which was a bonus at the register. Adidas and Tommy Hilfiger had awesome sales, so too did Tory Burch and Kate Spade. Make sure you register online with Premier Outlets to be a VIP member and get even more promotions. You will definitely need a full day so get there as early as possible. We were there 9am to 5pm and didnt finish shopping. If there is a group going check out cab/taxi flat rates as it could be cheaper than a shuttle that charges per person. We paid $55 flat rate each way from Hilton Hawaiian Village and there was 7 people. Shuttles charge $18-28 pp.

Great for specific things

By cobezeke |

We got an Uber from Waikiki $37US. It’s best to see what you want before you go. For example I knew I wanted to go to Vans, Zumiez and A few others. I found some really good bargains in these stores. If you want to browse loads of stores go to Ala Moana.

Great Shopping

By Sue N |

Great place to shop for some ins excellent bargains, easy to navigate around as well, as it is an open air shopping centre. Found it very easy to get to via public transport,

Awesome prices!

By holystandard |

Went to grab a few things and ended up with many things! Too many sales to pass up. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Mahalo to everyone.

Great choice, but bargains are a matter of luck

By Holger C |

It seems to depend on the actual outlet store and on the time whether one can really find a great bargain in one of the shops. I made some good ones at Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein while I had the impression that some products are as cheap/expensive as at Macy’s. So it’s worth to think twice whether one really needs to go to Waikele Center.
If you have to rely on public transport, do think about taking the Roberts coach from Waikiki for $10 each way. It takes around 35-45mins while the local bus no. 42 takes over 90mins to/from Waikiki including one interchange.

GREAT BARGAINS, BIG BRANDS

By Jenn N |

The best place to find the best savings for big brands from coach, kate spade to adidas. The customer service is amazing, the best I've seen, they were all very helpful and made my shopping experience very pleasant. I loved Adidas, the prices were exceptional low and marked down like crazy, it's like they want you to spend because its so cheap. Big brands were 60%. Drive 30mins from Waikiki beach, free parking and free wi fi.

Designer shopping on a budget

By veronicae877 |

We spent a day at the outlets. With 2 children that was ample. Only got to see a handful of shops. I'd suggest setting yourself a shopping budget. But if you're after designer then this is the place to go!

Great for browsing

By swampykevin |

Value here depends where you come from. We found the value mixed but the Levi shop would be our pick for great value. Three Jean's for $39.95 each represented very good value to us as we pay about US$100 each where we come from. Other brand shops seemed good but much were of no interest to us. We drove and arrived early before the buses so had a great run but got out as soon as the crowds started to get too much.
An absolute must for the bargain hunter.

Not many good stores

By Catbar57 |

Some of these stores are no cheaper than the retail stores.
Coach, Tommy Hilfiger were very good and Clarks was reasonable but some of the others really weren’t very good. The Skechers outlet had very little choice and it was cheaper at the Ala Moana store. We have been previously and it was good but it’s not as good as it used to be

Great Shopping and Smoothies

By AM_of_Oz |

A great range of shops and eateries, we enjoyed some smoothies and some shopping here on vacation.

Smoothies at Aloha Tea and Coffee were great!

Love the Christmas store there, lovely customer service people!

Also enjoyed the two shoe stores, Famous Footwear and Crocs Outlet who also were super friendly and helpful.

Great Prices and friendly staff

By Thomas V |

Purchased Tommy Bahama shirts (50% off plus military discount), Cole Haan Shoes 70% off plus 20% military discount....very happy with experience, worth the transit.

What a great place to shop!

By Len Lehmann |

What a great place to shop!!, You can certainly sop till you drop here. I have dropped some serious coin here a couple of time. Its best to go as a couple, sans little ones if you can. It can quite a long day dragging them in and out of all the retail outlets here. One small negative is it needs baggage drop place to store your purchases as you move around the shops. A few more seated or break out areas would be good as well. There are lots of brand name stores here and all are quite cheap by Australian standards.

The place to do business

By Fred D |

Great price, nice sellers. Same promotion as in Los Angeles (Simon Outlets). Don't hesitate, the 40 minutes of time are worth it

Worst Outlet Centre I have been to!

By Oztravels7 |

This outlet centre is very small. It lacks many of the brand names such as Hugo Boss and then has other brands with two stores such as Calvin Klein. Admittedly all the staff in the stores I entered were friendly and helpful but it is not worth the long drive from Waikiki!

Great bargains to be had

By Carlene C |

Recently spent a day at the outlets - we booked shuttle with Roberts online while we were at the hotel and picked up at 9.15 outside Ross Dress for less in Seaside Avenue. Cost for shuttle was $18 return which was a lot cheaper than $29 return by other shuttle company selling on the streets. Great brand name shops and good bargains - EG Michael Kors had 60% off already discounted items and a further 20% on top of that - same type of discount in Coach. Tommy Bahama had 50% off everything in store. There are a couple of places to eat. We got the 3pm shuttle but could have stayed longer. Recommend for a day out if you like to bargain shop.

Coach!!!!

By melb3056 |

So worth it! Coach is running 60% sales at the moment and have been for weeks. Then added an extra 30% off so paid $100 for a handbag and $20 for purses, awesome deals, I have at least 2 years worth of xmas gifts for sisters and friends:-)
Not many shops but big savings. Kate Spade was disappointing as pricy.
Def worth the visit.

For the shopping junkies

By AllanJGJ |

Not the biggest outlet mall although well designed and it's always nice when these malls are open air. Lots of parking - although not the widest parks I've ever seen! A reasonable array of stores and some had genuine bargains; it was certainly very popular the day we visited. The food court is very disappointing, although there are some interesting food trucks as you drive in. Obviously the whole experience is for shopping junkies only.

Great prices for selected products

By Kerri B |

Bought some sunnies, handbags and shoes at great prices.

I was expecting a lot more, but I guess it would be a dream for those who are big fans of Tommy and Polo. Not really my brands, but seemed to have some pretty good deals. Skechers had a good sale. Calvin Klein didn’t have any major deals when we went.

Coach had excellent deals and were very busy! Make sure you leave yourself enough time to stand in line at the checkout, particularly if you have a scheduled shuttle bus pick up time.

Such a great place for bargains

By Ron G |

We enjoy shopping here every time we visit Oahu. We have found something for
each of us from the great selection of stores. And they now have Hawaiian Cookie Co!

Always a must to visit

By paulwendyL |

For me fantastic, lots of brand shops and sales. I was focused on children shopping so was not disappointed with variety. Thankyou

Some Good Bargains

By Tom B |

We caught the shuttle service and the shopping was very good. We all got some very good bargains. Well worth the trip.

Some bargains but disappointing

By Anthony O |

Two morning Roberts shuttles run at 9:05am and 10:05am from the ilikai Hotel. About a 30-40 trip to the outlets. Dining/refreshment options in the centre are very limited unless you venture off-piste across the road. After visiting the branded shops in Ala Moana and the discounts they offered on the high street prices, the stock holdings in these outlets is very disappointing albeit cannot deny that there are some bargains to be found

Great shops, even better prices

By MmmmmmChocolate |

One word of advice for this place - join for free as a member online. They will give a member coupon pamphlet at the info desk when you arrive and that has some specials but they do not compare to the amazing coupon codes you can find online (often 20% off the total price after all other markdowns)! There's free WiFi so you can even sign up when you arrive. Only negative for this place was the "food court". Not very diverse, lousy quality food offerings.

Highlight: Honolulu Cookie Company cookie tastings. We tasted quite a few and then bought boxes and boxes to take home!

The sales were amazing

By Amelia H |

I went into this shopping experience with low expectations, I wasn’t really expecting everything to be that much cheaper than prices at home in Australia. But was pleasantly surprised to find many really good sales on brands such as Michael Kors, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Kate Spade and more. Although there wasn’t a large variety of shops, what they did have on offer was extremely well priced.

Wasn’t what I expected

By MissKirstsTravels |
