1 of 46 Best Attractions in Schaumburg

This was the largest JCP I have ever seen. Great weekend for shopping with 30% off coupon and in-store clearance. Trunk is full of Christmas presents for the family.

If you cannot find what you were looking for, it's simply made. This shopping center has every store imaginable. Be prepared to search for a parking spot. This is the only downside of the shopping center.

I travel constantly 26+years several Countries and most every town across half the United States. I found this 'Woodfield Mall' while passing thru Schaumburg, Illinois. It is a BIG mall with 3 floors and a nice food court. There are several major Department stores, restaurants, Comedy club, all in a contemporary/modern building. There are also many major restaurants surrounding the outer perimeter of Mall parking lot.

Traditionally, the huge Woodfield Mall defines Schaumburg to visitors. Nowadays, it is a prominent point of attraction as one of the largest shopping centers in the country.
Built in 1971, this residential mall is located about 25 miles NW of the Chicago Loop, and it is pretty close to I-290 and NW Tollway. The mall is often a place for the whole-day activities, if you will - it offers almost twelve thousand of parking spaces, it features over 200 stores (from mainstream to upscale), and there are also about a dozen restaurants - anything from sandwich shops and Food Court to a more refined dining (for instance, Cheesecake Factory on the premises of the mall, or a nice restaurant Maggiano's Little Italy, that is not far from the mall).
Knowing our goals, we managed to accomplish our shopping within several hours (took about half the day, actually).
Like many other big malls, Woodfield Mall has also become an attractive civic space for entertainment - they host artistic performances, various meetings and social events there.

This is your usual type shopping mall. It has the usual big department stores and some not so well known small businesses. It can take you hours to get from one end to the other. You don't have to worry about finding a place to eat as there are snack places for pretzels and ice cream and sit down eateries such as the Rainforest Cafe and Red Robin. The stores and the parking lot can become very conjested during the holiday season so my advice would be to get there early.

I visited this place and it had very great ambiance. More than that everything is under one place. Good

We had an hour or two to kill so we went to Woodfield. It is definitely a big mall with a lot of shops and restaurants. Typical mall stores plus others we don’t have in OHIO and a Garrett’s Popcorn!

There are more stores here than what I would normally like, but I don't like shopping. Seriously, if you can't find what you are looking for at Woodfield, it's probably not made anywhere. My best advice would be, take advantage of the shuttle busses. The parking gets full very fast. If you are shopping anywhere near Christmas, take public transportation or get dropped off.

Went there just yesterday with my daughter and granddaughter. I gave them both cash for them to use just for themselves to purchase special things. It's been many years since I've been there and I was concerned that I'd have hard time walking the whole mall. Happy to say it went just great. We also went and had a picture taken with Santa. He was really nice with taking time to be just a little jolly.

Over priced with all the same stores like any other mall. Many people not polite including store Employees. suburb snobbish individuals. Beautiful mall but very over priced.

I have went to Macy's here and threading parlors. Its a huge mall and has all the big brands for apparels, shoes and electronic goods.

Huge mall great for walking around if you got nothin else to do. A bunch of walkways to different levels if the mall (there’s 3 stories) and it has a playplace in the McDonald’s

A very interesting mall where you can shop to you drop lots of parking free wifi and comfortable place to walk around as they have published over 300 stores and restaurants the funkiest restaurant I saw was has a jungle theme restaurant.
The stores are from the big box stores Macy’s JC penny Nordstrom to smaller stores staff friendly and helpful.

This mall i huge with many levels. There is a wide variety of stores and restaurants. The mall is clean and has pleasant environment. We enjoyed walking around, shopping gan people watching. All the staff we talked to were very friendly. We would definitely return next time we are in the area.

This mall is gigantic! It’s 3 levels separated by stairs, ramps, escalators and elevators so that helps those who can’t get around as easily. The problem was there were so many stores spread out over such a large area it was difficult to see everything. Still our time was well spent and we found many buys. Good first experience.

Wood field mall is the most fun mall there is in American. I've been there many many times and it seems every time I go there's something new and interesting. I highly recommend visiting on the weekend the more the merrier.

Not overwhelmingly large so easy to get to most stores. Stores are mid to high range. There are are ramps but they are steep and too fast alone in wheelchair. If have someone holding navigable. Loud click clacking sound and ambience is just so-so. A go-to though if . you need to buy something.

Mall right by the two busy highways with plenty of parking. A good variety of stores and one of the few places around Chicago with the roof over your head. Plenty of choices to eat and specialty stores around the mall.

Very nice and updates, clean, and the usual brands. Avoid weekends if you want to avoid the crowds, plus now you can shop pre-sale events.

Came here with a friend after work. It’s a big mall with lots of variety. I felt very safe here and the lot was well lit. Lots of restaurant choices. Worth a trip if you’ve got shopping to do!

Over all Woodfield Mall has good stores and is nice. Unfortunately the layout is stressful. Stairs and walkways don't always end up where you think you're going and what would make sense. Sounds wierd, but if you visit you'll see what I mean. There are a lot of good restaurants in and around the mall.

Woodfield Mall is ridiculously huge & overwhelming. I'm not a big shopper by any means but I've had to come here a couple times for work-related "fun" events. Given, I went during the second half of the month of December, when all is complete chaos, which probably lead to me hating every minute of my existence there. However, I like to think positive & I'll say perhaps during another rare visit to this mall, I'll have an ever-so slightly more pleasant time.

Love this mall. Great selection of stores and restaurants. Vibrant feel. The only thing I don't like is the weird middle section. I feel like I am always missing something. Otherwise, 2 thumbs up! Shopped with a group of 150+ ladies. Security was there with a shopping bag for each of us which was helpful! Thanks Woodfield.

The main reason I go to this mall is the Macy’s and Penney’s and the surrounding area. Most of the stores in the mall are pricey but the two I mentioned I love. It’s always busy here but it’s a nice weekend get away and nice restaurants.

We enjoyed our visit and ran out of time (only a couple hours to shop) to explore everything. I first visited about 22 years ago and am pleased this mall is remaining a hot spot without tons of vacancies! Hoping to come back soon

This mega-mall has virtually any store you want, plus several restaurants, and even a movie complex. Close to freeways & major streets, whatever you're looking for, you'll find it here!!

awesome experience i had great food and just a fun time!! I spent alot of money, but it was fun and got great clothes!!

There is a nice balance of stores for all needs. It was recently updated with added seating. There is a play area for young children, has many eating choices, and it is clean. Early morning walkers are there before most stores open. Parking is all around the mall, and there is a free trolley run by the Village of Schaumburg that goes from the mall to other close shopping options. I think there is valet parking, but I haven't used it.

This mall is part of the Simon corporation and it is very big. Tons and tons of stores and restaurants and a shop for every interest in the family. Clean and COVID precaution friendly as well. Would recommend and will go back if in area.

The mall was very nice. Easy to find, easy to park. Great variety of stores. The mall was clean and people were friendly.

One of the largest mall sin the U.S. - - Huge selection from medium to high end - - Tourist attraction - - 2.7 million feet of retail space - - many restaurants - - hard to run in and out - - (we live nearby)

This mall is huge and has shops for just about everything you would need. There is plenty of parking and good location off the highway.

We had an opportunity to go to Woodfield Mall when we were invited to an event for the upcoming "Cars 3" movie. It was nicely laid out in the parking lot and there certainly was a lot of parking for guests. The event organizers/promoters had done a nice job in offering the event and the logistics worked out perfectly for us, and I would hope for other families that attended. There were numerous photo opportunities at this "Cars 3" promotion event.

We have been here several times on our visits to Schaumburg. It is just big enough and has a lot of good options for shopping and dining. The first time few times we did have to stop at the maps often to prevent getting too turned around, but not too confusing to navigate your way around. Overall, a good way to spend a few hours at lunchtime for us.

A nice looking mall with many stores including the Lego store which was our main reason to visit.
Clean, safe, Jamba Juice, Abercrombie, Auntie Annes Pretzels, A & W, Eddie Bauer, Levi's, etc.
It's a Simon mall and they do know malls.

Woodfield Mall is the largest shopping mall in Illinois, one of the largest in the nation. Located at 5 Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, at the intersection of Golf Road and I-290, south of I-90, it attracts more than 27 million visitors annually. Just the size of the mall takes your breath away...two levels, 234 stores and restaurants, over 2.15 million square feet of retail space. Opened in 1971, Woodfield has undergone several multi-million-dollar renovations, the last in 2018 being a new food court containing 820 seats. It's hard to imagine a shopper not being able to find what he or she is looking for when browsing through Woodfield. About 40 miles west of Chicago's Loop, it has become a tourist destination. Among the stores are Macy's, Nordstrom, JC Penney, Tommy Bahama, Michael Kors, Abercrombie & Fitch, White House Black Market, Apple, Armani, Hugo Boss, C.D. Peacock, Chico's, Coach, Disney, Eddie Bauer, Foot Locker, Forever 21, Gap, H&M, Kay Jewelers, Lacoste, Levi's, Verizon, Victoria's Secret, Sprint, T-Mobile and Under Armour. You can't go hungry at Woodfield. There is something for everyone's taste...McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, Red Robin, Chipotle, Charleys Philly Steaks, Baskin Robbins, Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, P.F. Chang, Panda Express, Molly's Cupcakes, Garrett Popcorn, Dunkin' Donuts, Stan's Donuts, Auntie Anne's, Cinnebon, Cold Stone Creamery, Godiva and Wetzel's Pretzels. And the there is a playground area for the kids. And plenty of free parking.

Seemed nice. Has variety of stores. The overall layout is confusing. Easy to get lost. Had hard time finding restrooms. Lots of unaccompanied teenagers thatwere unruly. Didn't see anyone monitoring that

Travelled from the UK to Illinois and wanted to check out some malls. This was a good experience, lots of verity with the stores and plenty of places to eat! I went had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, was a great experience and the cocktails, food and service was exceptional! Definitely worth visiting.

That was a really great mall with a lot of shops. We used to like having our free times there.. Middle stands are very cheap with good product. I definitely recommend it.

Anything and everything you need is in this mall! Such a wide variety!! Lots of food options! Only suggestions I would have is to add more seating. Really enjoyed our visit!

Great stores!!! Awesome time with the kids
Great choices for food..nice play area for the Littles to run off energy...

I enjoy my visit at Woodfield Mall. I also enjoy visiting other shopping centers as well.
The luxury shopping customer experience and shopping in general is an escape. I visit a variety of specialty stores as well as department stores.

Nice play area for kids but preferable Sunday Morning.
Too crowded Too Small
Parking Difficulty
close to Home

I love that woodfield has every store you would ever need, great food options and plenty of paking and for the same reasons it's so big and so many people. I like smaller, more intimate stores and malls but if you really want to knock a lot out you should go here. Big stores with lots of inventory. Hit a movie when your done or there are many great restaurants surrounding the mall.

I enjoyed walking through the mall visiting a variety of stores. It was very clean and modern. I enjoyed Macy's, Nestle Cookies and The Cheesecake Factory. They had most normal mall stores with at least 1 Chicago souvenir shop.

The mall has improved dramatically since Simon Management took it over pre-Covid. There are a lot more designer stores; Michael Kors, Psycho Bunny, Coach, Tumi, Timberland and Lacoste to name a few.
It’s great for walking. If you walk the entire 1st and 2nd floors you’ll get in 2.5 miles!
Plenty of places to eat and the food court has been renovated to offer over 15 different choices including Stan’s Donuts, Chipotle, Poke Bowl etc…
The mall is kept clean and they always have security walking the mall.

This rating isn’t against the Cheesecake Factory, I give them ***** 5 Stars!!!
This low rating is due to the high taxation in the town of Schaumburg.
I don’t go to Woodfield Mall very much, but I decided to go and stop at the Cheesecake Factory for a slice of cheesecake to go, but when I got home and looked at my receipt...I was shocked!!! I was charged 12% sales tax on my cheesecake. I thought Cook County was high already at 10%, but 12%????? Time to give up cheesecake or go to Oakbrook instead.
I looked up online regarding the tax and Schaumburg has A food & beverages tax of 2% in addition to sales tax of 10% (along with 25 other towns in 6 counties with varying taxes on Food & Beverages/Liquor/Places for eating-see list below). I never really paid attention before, but now that I do know I will be more conscious on what towns I decide to eat in. The towns feel it’s away to keep taxes low (per the Daily Hearld article-Which suburbs tax you more to eat out?) but I hate to say...there are no low taxes in Illinois.
The cheesecake was delicious and nothing against Cheesecake Factory, but I will choose to go to another location. Some people will feel it’s not a big deal, but it’s a choice everyone can make on their own and decide if you want to pay Schaumburg more taxes just to eat in their town.

This is really a very lovely mall! There are many upscale stores that you don't see outside of the bigger cities....Apple, Microsoft, Bare Mineral, Michael Kors. I'm sure the people who live in the area take it for granted, but it is so refreshing coming from a smaller area! There is plentiful parking along with parking ramps. There are many restaurants in the mall too....our destination restaurant was The Cheesecake Factory! I would certainly visit this mall again!

This mall has just about everything. I think we were on three different levels! It’s well kept, plenty of parking, shopping and food options.

Really huge and difficult to get around. Too many levels with no stairs and the "food court" is awful

First off, the selection of stores is as good as it gets in America. The restaurants are the best. The "hawkers" at the kiosks can be quite irritating. If you don't have a concrete rebuttal, you'll get sucked in to being sold a product that you don't want for a price three times more than you would want to pay. That being said, Woodfield is a great place for kids, teens and adults and is a great way to spend a day in the winter or summer.

This mall is super clean! The selection of stores is great here. Upscale selections, tech selections, and food. Stores were well kept and organized.

I visited the Woodfield Mall during free time while on business. What an excellent place to shop! The are many shops with a very diverse range as well as the old favourites such as Macy's and JCPenney. The place is pleasant, clean and I felt very safe walking around.
I didn't allow nearly enough time during my stay. I could have spent a full day there.

P F CHANGS is the best restaurant at Woodfield Mall..The Mall itself has different stores but not the ones I need

Has every store and also is very clean . I fully enjoyed my shopping experience at Woodfield Mail and I highly recommend it to anyone whom wants to go shopping and have a good lunch.

Great mall. Wide variety of stores and places to eat. Multilevel shopping center. Wear your walking shoes!

규모가 제법 큰 편이고 시 중심에 위치하여 교통이 편리하지만 가격은 싼 편이 아니다.
It is located in the city center n so convinient to go. There are many shops but sales price are not so cheap.
它在市中心交通很方便,规模也不小,可是卖价不算便宜。

This is the best mall in Illinois! They’ve added many designer stores like Kendra Scott, Timberland, Northern Face, Lacoste and Psycho Bunny! Great sales right now in every store too.
Selection is vast and has something for everyone! Super clean even when it’s busy. Food court has Stan’s Donuts, Popeyes, Chipotle, Philly Steaks, Chinese, Bobba you name it! Don’t forget to pick up a bag of Garrett’s popcorn too!
Walking the mall is easy and for walkers it opens early to get your 2.3 miles of steps in.

Honestly, this mall is bigger than Cherry Valle Mall I introduced the last my review. Also, it is near the Chicago city, you might be able to get there about 1hour by a car.

Woodfield Mall is working hard to lure customers away from their internet shopping and back into the mall.
Check out the women's lounge near the Cheesecake Factory. It is done in sophisticated black and white. It has some very nice we-care-about-our-customers touches. There are comfortable couches at the entrance You will find a large shelf against the back wall of every stall, where you can safely place your purse and packages. There are sit-down vanity tables with three-way mirrors.
I found a charging station for my phone and you can borrow a cable from customer service.
There's a bitcoin ATM, free wi-fi, and that giant mall centerpiece -- Garrett's popcorn.
The most exciting news is the food court opening this summer in the upper level Sears wing. The first tenants to be announced are Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Charleys Philly Steaks, Maoz Falafel and Grill, Suki Hana, and Wok A Holic.
There's no Garrett's Popcorn or Maoz falafel at my computer....so Woodfield, here I come.

In this mall you will find most of the famous department stores. The mall environment is encouraging to spend more time and enjoy the rest of attracting spots.

We actually came to the Streets of Woodfield which is located just south of Woodfield Mall. Between the two locations there are a lot of stores, things to do and a huge variety of restaurants. Besides an AMC Theatre with 20 auditoriums, there is a Whole Foods, a Dick Sporting Goods, a Crate & Barrell and an RH Outlet. Restaurants, include a Shaw's Crab House, Maggiano's, a Big Bowl and the Tokio Pub. There is also a Legoland Discovery Center and a Gameworks, among the many choices at this part of the mall. There is plenty of parking, including a multi-level parking lot along Higgins Rd., across from the AMC Theatre.

The recent updates are very nice! I was pleasantly surprised after my last visit, prior to some of the updates. Great shopping and dining choices!

Although food was pricey, we had fun! The mall is huge! Also, given that my dad gets around in a wheelchair, we found it very accessible!

From the outside you would not be able to imagine this mall being 3 levels. I had so much fun just walking around the mall. The different levels are not all even like most malls. They give you different paths and steps to walk down and climb.

It is one of the indoor bigger mall with lots of shops and that is good part but, they have ZERO free WIFI, hardly any working signal. The SIMON free wifi is a JOKE cos there is no connection so we couldn't use our phones to check the internet, do price check online or show online coupons. Because of this being a large indoor building, we had no mobile data signal. The restrooms are so tiny and with only 1 faucet to wash hand. I have never seen such small restrooms in any shopping malls for only 2 persons and one faucet sink. They are also dirty. Will NOT return due to non existent wifi and tiny restrooms. Not good with family. Will go to Hothorn mall in vernon hills or Gurnee mill malls

Woodfield has a diverse amount of goods to pick from when it comes to shopping especially for the holidays. Everything from restaurants to fine clothing to home accessories. You can pretty much find it at Woodfield.

Nice shopping mall ! Very good place for shopping ,I have been this mall many times for many years .And it is getting better and better every year!During 2020 to 2022 due to Covid , not many people went here .Now ,people coming back this year .I did my holiday shopping here .What a good place for shopping!

Nice large mall. A variety of stores for anyone. Enjoyed walking around . Any interaction I had with mall employees was pleasant.

After a delicious dinner, we headed to Woodfield Mall instead of going back to the hotel to watch TV or sleep. We were told that this was one of the largest malls in Illinois and that it was be easy for us to find souvenirs at the mall. As it turns out, the mall is still just a mall. While the mall is comprised of a handful of different stores than we have at home, the majority of the stores were the same. What is different is the layout of the mall. It’s not a traditional two or three story mall. There are stairs and ramps and if you are not familiar with the layout, it is easy to get lost and miss stores that you are interested in. Two stores that we were interested in were Uniqlo and Superdry and they did not disappoint. We found souvenirs and much more.
This is not a dead mall by any means. The mall was very busy for a Wednesday night. There is plenty of parking, even covered parking. The food court has a variety of places to eat. You can easily shop for hours here, get a good workout just by walking around the mall, or just people watch.

Simon Malls are always great, this is no exception. All necessary stores, massive, clean, not crowded. Always sales.
Good food court.
No negatives, spend a day or more!

Lots and lots of shops. Very well maintained.
Foodcourt is ok.. just that. Thats the only thing that could be improvef

Woodfield is definitely one of the best malls we’ve been to in the Chicago area. It has tons of stores of all types, and lots of variety in restaurants. The mall is overall mostly located indoors.

Whether the weather is sunny and warm or cold and snowy, you will enjoy visiting this mall. You will find ample complementary outside parking. There is complementary garage parking next door to the Nordstrom store. Between the restaurants, small shops as well as the large stores, such as Nordstrom, you are able to find everything you may need. Given the number of stores, shops and restaurants, plan to spend the day, if you have the time. You will not be bored!

This review is not for Woodfield Mall, but for the Forever 21 Store in the Woodfield Mall.
My young granddaughters and I were checking out at the Forever 21 Store in Woodfield Mall on Sunday, September 25th, 2022, at 2:02pm. The reason I know the exact time is because the first words out of the girl who was checking us out was to ask me the time. For the remainder of the time that we were being checked out, every other word out of this girl and the girl at the register next to her was the "F" word. My first thought was to ask for a manager and report this immediately, but we had waited in line to check out for a very long time as both of the girls were extremely slow, and I just wanted to get my granddaughters out of the store. I tried to report this on the Forever 21 website, but there's no place to do that. I'm hoping someone from the company sees this and cares enough to take the appropriate action. That being said, I will not shop at a Forever 21 ever again.

Very clean and workable mall. Many standard stores, but also unique stores that fit just Chicago. Like to visit when we are in the area.

Visits to Woodfield Mall are always fun and productive with over 100 stores, restuarants and other attractions

Some malls have gone downhill. Junky stores, disruptive gangs or groups but Woodfield is still chock full of topnotch retail establishments, and is a safe environment for walking in.

This mall has been a staple in my young adult and older adult life. As time goes by, Woodfield has always kept up with the current time - fashion and food. This is a must see.

I like the variety of stores, the eating ventures, and its very relaxing for a get away weekend with family or girlfriends The hotel prices are very reasonable. I visit at least 4 times a year. Good trip if you like to shop

We visited the mall to kill time while we are waiting for our flight going back to Charlotte. The mall has lots of shops and restaurants to try and explore. Some of the shops have great finds and lots of discounts too.

Open and airy. Seems like your in sunlight everywhere. Painted and tiled in very light shades. Makes you smile.

Woodfield is a beautiful mall, recently updated and remodeled and filled with a large variety of shopping opportunities. There are also many great restaurants to choose from fast food to upscale dining experiences. It is in a wonderful neighborhood with plenty of outdoor and indoor parking.

The wife and I have been here many times and stopped here once again. There are so many shops and you can get most anything you are looking for. Unfortunately it just does not seem to be as busy as it used to be. I guess it is a sign of the times. Competition from Walmart and Amazon and online ordering has made an impact to retail shopping. Still a neat mall. Been here before, will certainly be back.

I'm at the age where malls are not my thing but this one is still good. It's pretty much a one stop mall, it has everything and a large play area for toddlers and kids.

I hit this spot when I got into town on a Friday night....after a 5 hour drive, it was nice to walk around (on a rainy night). It has a huge selection of stores, but it is a mall. I found a few stores I don't have in my hometown, so it was neat to look at them. I was able to visit a Fabletics to see if they were worth the price that they charge (They are certainly nice athletic apparel, but not sure if I would be willing to pay $70 for more than one pair!). I think if you are looking for an indoor shopping experience it would be a good place to kill a few hours.

Very nice mall with an abundance of stores and places to eat. We were please how new it appeared. Visited Basking-Robbins which is always a hit with me. Wish I would have had time for The Rainforest Cafe or Cheesecake Factory.

Huge Mall with everything upscale stores Sears and Pennys lots of restaurants also safe and easy parking.

I've been going here on and off for about 30 years now. I love the Christmas decorations and the layout is fun with the different levels. Nice shops and overall experience.

No good deals. But you can spend a lot of time there and shop for your items. Also it has lot of good restaurants around it. Has a well organized play area too. come and spend your time here. Worth the visit

Woodfield has always been a mall to visit once or twice a year as it is pretty far from my home. Besides the mall, there are a lot of good stores in the area as well as great restaurants so you can wander after the mall. As to going to the mall during this time, I felt all the cleaning precautions are being met, everyone in masks and plenty of stuff to buy. JC Penny, Macy's and Nordstrom are the main anchors and Lord and Taylor still there with going out of business sale signs everywhere. Most stores seem to go out of their way to keep customers safe by limiting the number of people in the stores. Sorry to see the Garret's closed but many other sweet bakery shops available as well as several coffee shops. This is a very big mall so if you are looking for a specific store would suggest you check on line to find out where the store is so you don't waste time looking for it. A couple of stores closed, but not many. Would shop again, if I was in the area.

Be sure to get some Garrett's popcorn while there! Request a sample of the "mix". Fresh and delicious

Huge shopping mall with lots of shops of all kinds. Elegant overall and several different kinds of restaurants.

This gigantic mall has about anything you are looking for. It has all the normal 'end' stores. It also has several unique shops. Look at the mall directory - that will help to find what you are looking for

Anything and everything you could want!! My kid LOVED the McDonald's inside!! Bring your walking shoes it's huge!!

With ramps and levels everywhere it is a little easy to get lost but the shops and dining options are great. Spend a whole day here

You brought my girls up to shop from central IL. We shopped for almost 5 1/2 hours. The girls had a great time and are already talking about coming again. It was pretty hot today in the mall but we still had a good time.

Was here for several hours, several days on a row and I'm pretty sure I didn't see even half of the stores. Its huge!

Not so quick shopping trip but got what I needed. They have a great Lush store that is large and offers more product than most.

We love to travel and enjoy eating at different restaurants all the time. On this trip we decided to add shopping. This mall is GREAT. One of the best we have ever been in. It is nice and clean for 2 single women we always felt safe. Had all kinds of clothing shops, shoes, and body shops. If there is something you are looking for that should be found in a "mall" you should stop here.

This is a beautiful mall with lots of outdoor light coming into the interior of the mall. Do many, many excellent stores. I spent 5 hours perusing in and out of my favorite stores: Nordstrom, Lululemon, The Walking Store, Altr’d State, Sephora, etc. such a great place to be on a hot and humid day.

Very large mall, had a wide variety of stores and shops. Even though it was very, very busy, it didn't feel too crowded due to how large it really is. Lots of food options also.

I found so many sales inside this mall. I was overjoyed at all the stores that is inside this mall. I can say what really blowed me away is when I seen a Garrett's Popcorn stand, I was like a child in a candy store.

This is a fantastic mall.....but the hidden gym is Molly's Cupcakes!!! Unfortunately I live in Ohio....but thankfully maybe I do as I would be at the mall getting cupcakes everyday and would weigh 500 pounds!

Great place, you can find everything you need: accesible prices ; very easy access. The parking is a little hard but they have ballet parking: Now with the new food court is better place to enjoy all day long .

This mall has a lot of stores. However shopping here is stressful and hectic. Parking is a mess and often you have to park far away. On the weekends there is no place to take a breather and the 2015 renovation took away the character or uniqueness this mall had. Now it looks white and bland. Also. the stores here don't offer anything unique making it worth a half hour trip here to face rampant crowds. Overall we stick with the stores along Randall Road, which has a lot of the same stores represented here but they are significantly less crazy and hectic.

This is not an overwhelmingly large mall and is thereford easy to get to the shops you want. The stores cater to all age levels. There is a wide variety of mid to high-range stores. There are ramps, but I found when I was in a wheelchair they were too steep and rolled me too fast. However, with someone pushing the chair it was navigable. It is loud and does not have carpeting or noise baffling features,

Mall was huge. A lot of stores. I felt it was a bit confusing getting to certain areas, but we enjoyed it.

This is by far one of the largest indoor shopping malls I’ve been to. I have not seen one vacant storefront, which is nice. A wide variety of shopping options. It’s close to the Chicago O’Hare airport.

We not only shop but also eat there...you can almost always find what you are looking for...great merchants as weep as good dining

Lot of stores and good dining options. Garrett's popcorn, PFChang's, Auntie Anne's, Red robin etc. Exclusive Lego store had a good collection for all age groups.

This mall is in a good area. Many resturants and hotels nearby. The mall also has easy public transportation to get to the mall by (CTA BUS) if you are coming from the CTA station in the Village of Rosemont,or other suburbs (Bus 606) about 40min bus ride. The bus will drop you off at door 1 by the mall.
Inside the mall there are many retail stores, everything you can think of. Prices on clothes are decent of course depends on what you buy. The only down side is the sale tax which is high at 12 percent. The mall is pretty big with three floors of retail stores. There are many good resturants inside the mall as well like Cheesecake Factory, Don Julios, PFchangs and many more. I say it is a GO have a coke and a smile with your shopping bags.

It is so huge that you either reserve entire dish for it or you check on like where exactly you want to go so you are not lost or so you can move between shoppes efficiently . There is a lot of restaurants within and around. Great for a rainy , vety cold or very hot day.

Had to stop at Sears and since Woodfield Mall was closer than other locations I came over here. This mall is pretty much the same as it has been for a long time. A few new stores and that is about it. Have been coming here for about 40 years.

Something for everyone here lots to do and see as well as good food available easy parking all around

When I come to Schaumburg I need to go to Woodfield mall. I love to do shopping here. Is very constable and they have very good stores. If you like shopping come here.

Woodfield has an amazing amount of stores, restaurants and decorations to get you I to the holiday season!!

This mall is huge and has shops for just about everything you would need. There is plenty of parking and good location off the highway.

It is very clean and great mall.It takes at least 3 hours to walk between the huge brands (Jc Penney,Sears ,Macy's,lord Taylor).Wi fi is available. You can find any brands when you are there.Parking lot is also available.

Woodfield Mall isn't a shopping mall, it's an event, a happening, an all-day experience. Located at the intersection of Golf Road and I-290 in Schaumburg, Illinois, a northwest Chicago suburb, it is the largest shopping mall in the state of Illinois and the fifth largest in the United States. In fact, when it was opened in 1971, it was the largest shopping mall in the country. With nearly 300 stores and restaurants, it attracts more than 27 million visitors annually. It is anchored by five stores--JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Nordstrom and the country's largest Sears store at 416,000 square feet. With 2,172,434 square feet of retail space spread over three floors, Woodfield Mall is a major tourist attraction in Illinois. In 2000, Chicago visitors voted Woodfield Mall as their favorite suburban attraction. The facility continues to find ways to improve. For example, earlier this year, a large food court, known as the "Dining Pavilion," opened on the second floor in the east wing opposite the main mall entrance.

Spent a few hours here and loved it. Since i was staying close by visited the mall again the next day to grab last minute stuff.
Variety of shops and since 5 of them were "closing shorty" got amazing deals too. The food court had good options and there are a few nice restaurants as well. Ample parking available. I would avoid the weekends although unless you really have to go.
Enjoy your shopping hope you get some amazing deals as well.

Large, clean, bright and spacious place for shopping. Mostly American brands, good real discounts and ice customer service at the of the stores.

Looks like alot of new restaurants... looked around Sears for tools. UNCLE Juilos and Knife and Fork look really good ....

I did not visit Woodfield for many years, and then I had to go to the Apple Store. I was suprised that the mall looked the same, and had the pleasing addition of Garrett's popcorn, which, albeit pricey, is worth it.

Woodfield Mall is the largest mall in the state of Illinois and one of the largest in the country, it opened in 1971, since then it's been renovated and now has about 300 stores, specialty shops, restaurants, fast/quick food places, cafes, kiosks, stands, play area for children, Grand Court, etc. Not only Woodfield Mall is large, it is quite beautiful.
The digital directory in the mall lists all the stores and their location in the mall, although at first, it's not very easy to orient yourself in this huge shopping center, since there are various ways of walking and getting to the right store in the mall, using overpasses, escalators, or stairs. Elevators are also available.
I visited this mega mall twice in November, and now have a pretty good idea, how to explore and shop in it. The fantastic Grand Court and Ice Palace in the center of the mall and the main anchor stores -- Macy's, Nordstrom, JC Penny and Primark -- are the reference points for guests. All the high-end stores -- and actually all the stores -- are well marked, restrooms are available, and there are also many rest areas around -- with chairs and tables -- for guests to relax. But with crowds of shoppers in the mall, all these areas were packed with thousands of people.
My favorite store in the Woodfield Mall is Nordstrom -- a very spacious, well-lighted, well-appointed, ultra modern upscale store, with the top-quality merchandise and excellent customer service. You feel rested after shopping there. All other stores I visited -- and even some modern art galleries in the mall -- are also quite attractive. Service in all these stores was very polite and friendly.
During this holiday season, there are massive sales going on in the mall, and it is a perfect place for gift shopping. Practically, all the stores have been offering 40%--50% discounts during the Black Friday weekend.
Both visits were very productive and quite enjoyable, Woodfield Mall has a vast parking space, and public transportation to some other parts of the area is also available.
The mall is located in Schaumburg -- about 27 miles west of The Chicago Loop, and I-290 is just a pleasure to drive. It is estimated, that each year about 30 million people visit Woodfield Mall. No wonder, it is a great place, with excellent shops and restaurants. Plan to be back!
Happy Holidays & Happy New Year to Woodfield Mall!

This place is like a playhouse for junior high/teenagers and preteens. Also, a good place to go with the family, there is a ton of things that you can buy.

An enjoyable experience, with the hotels and the shopping experience, Plan to attend again next year

My sister and I decided to do some shopping here while her husband was here on business, as we flew in we are a bit restricted on purchases, the mall is huge with multi levels we found everything we were looking for, love Macy's and some really good Christmas shopping deals, we do recommend this mall for all your shopping.

Nice massive mall. But it can use some tlc at some places. You can see that some department store are at their end. Nobody there and looking so 90’s. But the rest of the mall is nice. Parking can be hard but I was their early so was ok.

I was fun one day. This mall is too big! I could the shopping and eat.
非常に大きなモールでした。ショッピングをして御飯をたべて一日中楽しめました。

Comfort Suites Schaumburg is convenient to the Woodfield Mall and Ikea as well a large choice of restaurants

This mall has something for everyone. It seemed like the mall just went on and on and on. Easy to get around and lots of choices!

Both the parking lot & mall itself are so huge, just getting from the car to the mall itself feels like a major hike making me feel like I was there for a work-out instead of shopping--same deal when getting from the entrance to the stores. It also seemed like the majority of stores were clothing stores--how many of those do we really need in one place? Before anyone thinks I'm a chronic complainer, there are a few positive points: nice open, well-lit lay-out to the mall (no need to worry about claustrophobia) and a reasonable selection of restaurants both inside the mall itself as well as the outlots.

Seems while all the local malls are closing stores down and finding stores anditems are getting more difficult, Woodfield continues thriving with customers. You can find almost any store and item you need at Woodfield. After all, it's the 5th largest mall.Items are too costly for me and handicapped parking is ridiculously under ADA minimal code and extremely under monitored. I almost never go there during the holiday season as crazy as regular days are, I pity the person that has to! Avoid Friday through Sunday's, too!

Nice mall, clean, lots of stores and restaurants. Would be a great rainy day activity. There's a gift shop with things like t-shirts, magnets, etc. if you're looking for Chicago souvenirs.

This mall is fantastic. It has pretty much anything you could want to buy and great food. I can get in and out pretty quickly as long as I park on the right side for where my store is located. I often buy presents for my wife at Lulu Lemon and can park at a main entrance around the corner from the Sears.

I would recommend people not to shop here it’s not a trusted location we got scammed 1,500 not once but several time multiple days. they thought we would not notice them charging our account and when we brought the issue to the store no one knew anything and apparently everyone there is the manager. I escalated to me calling the cops just to get our money back
I would not trust these people and keep any eye on ur banco account

This is a pretty big shopping center, so there’s always something new to explore!! Woodfield Mall has a lot of unusual stores that aren’t in many malls, such as a Build-A-Bear, a Lush, and a MAC store to name a few.
Its a very clean and specious mall, with the only complaint being its easy to get lost. They have a lot of stores that are on their own floor; Its not on any of the main floors, it might be on a floor between level one and level two, which could get confusing, but there are directories and even maps you can take along with you!

You have so many stores to chose from you never get bored and the choice is unlimited and the restaurants have excellent food and you can take a rest and get some good food for your tired body.

You brought my girls up to shop from central IL. We shopped for almost 5 hours. The girls had a great time and are already talking about coming again.

We started at Rainforest Cafe with reservations. Then shopped all day. Lots of stores to check out and shop.

We went specifically to this mall because they have one of those Asian massage spas inside, and we wanted a massage. We strolled around all of the wings of the mall to find it and see what else they had. They had all of the great stores that we liked. I like Lush and New York & Co. It was very empty on a Friday evening around 5 pm. By the time we finished with the massage and dinner and walked around it seemed pretty crowded. We did have a hard time finding parking. It is a big place. I would love to go back there.

Fun to shop of just to walk around. They keep the mall updated and add new things including the new and much needed food court.

Very cool place many many levels lots of different types of stores parking is different you park in a 2 level parking garage. Bathrooms were a little dated and run down but very cool mall

I recently went to the mall with my sister in law and my niece!! We were very excited to check out the whole mall..... but after only 2 hours and seeing maybe a 10th of the mall we were pretty tired!! We found some great things and really loved every store... we will be back soon to explore even more!! Nordstroms here we come!!!! The parking lot is huge but does fill up quickly !!!! We make sure we are there when they open and never have a hard time finding a close spot!!

Went to lunch at Texas de Brazil then shopping went to lush, bath and body works those are my 2 favorite stores

Shop at this mall all the time and is fabulous...Bring your walking shoes since it is very large and has just about every store.

We grew up when this mall was being built and now many years later it has just gotten better and better.
Lots of parking a great mall with something for everyone

My kids love visiting this mall. It is very big and has something for everyone. My teenage daughter loves shopping at places like Rue 21 and Hot Topic, while my younger two boys enjoy the Lego store and looking at the scenery in Rainforest Cafe. My only complaint is that there isn't really a food court. There are various places to eat throughout the mall, but they are scattered around. It would be nice to see a food court to make it easier for everyone to get something they want to eat.

We live about 2 hours from Schaumburg but we try to come up to the mall a couple times a year. It's a great mall with plenty of different stores to browse, good atmosphere and great food options. We are never disappointed when we visit here.

This is not the first time and sure will not be the last time I visit this Mall. They have a great variety of shops in various price ranges. They have a good amount of food selections and they have a Garrett's Popcorn which is AWESOME. That prevented me from driving to downtown Chicago on my way home. It's a very comfortable Mall, nice and very clean and kid friendly. The parking is nice and they have a lot of hotels to stay at in the area.
Check it out for yourself!!! :-)

I like that it is an in-door mall and very walkable to exercise. The stores offer a wide variety of shopping and it is very clean and inviting.

I always try to get back to Woodfield when I visit Chicago for any length of time. The stores are many and varied. Good selection of stores for all ages. The mall is clean. I would love it if they would push their smoking section back away from the entry doors just a bit. Restaurants are also good with good selections.

Have been shopping here since it opened in 1971.
It has a kinda goofy -- but clever -- layout that basically propels you through the entire three-tier mall in your desire not to miss anything that might be up that ramp or around that corner.
It is, of course, famously -- the largest mall in the state and in the top ten list of huge malls of the country.
Best features:
1. restaurants and snack shops scattered throughout -- so you are never FFF -- far from food.
2. free wi-fi supplied by the Simon management
3. plenty of garage and lot parking
4. a huge GARRETT'S popcorn in the center
Wear comfortable walking shoes.

There is a huge activity area on the lower level for kids to run and play. It’s conveniently located near Starbucks so parents can grab a quick coffee as children play and also a seating area to watch the kids.

Woodfield Mall is know throughout the midwest. Regardless what you are shopping for it will be in this mall somewhere. There is huge parking areas and is very well lighted at night. I like the atmosphere and find the mall a safe place to shop. But having said that we all still must be aware of our surroundings in todays America.

We went to Woodfield Mall today and it was very crowded with half the people not wearing masks. I was with my daughter's family. All 3 of us adults are fully vaccinated, but our 3 little ones are not, as they are all under 12. I felt increasingly uncomfortable and told my daughter we are leaving. Since Covid, I have NEVER EVER BEEN TO AN INDOOR PLACE with so many unmasked people. The Delta Variant is extremely contagious, and I do NOT see any sign suggesting anyone wear a mask! I will not go back to this mall as I think the management is extremely irresponsible.
We decided to go to Mitsuwa the Japanese grocery store and food court instead. There is a sign outside prominently stating " No mask No entry". I went through the store and the food court and did not see one non compliant customer. People took off the mask to eat, of course, but their masks were on when they were waiting for their food. That is as it should be. I felt free to spend my money there. I live in Naperville, where most of the businesses at least tell the unvaccinated to wear a mask. Some require all customers to wear a mask. I feel so much more comfortable at those businesses. All this not wearing masks is just prolonging this pandemic.

The Woodfield Mall is: huge!
On several levels you’ll find numerous small national and international shops, as well as the big chain warehouses like Macy’s, Nordstrom, JC Penney’s and Sears.
Recently a dining pavilion with various restaurants was added.

Whether you want to shop, eat, dine, grab a snack, walk, let your kids play, or sit and watch people this is the place to go. I doubt that most people can see the entire mall in one day, but it might be possible if you are there to walk. In addition, there are people of all ages that enjoy the experience. The updates to the interior makes it feel open, well-lit and pleasant.

It had been about 7-8 years since I had been to Woodfield Mall. The place is still one of the best malls I've been to. The whole mall is alive and always busy. My local mall didn't fare well through Covid, so it was almost weird to see one so busy. All the usual suspects are here, with a dose of high end stores (Armani Exchange, Rolex). The restaurant options are good, the mall extras are good. The layout is excellent. This mall is still in it's prime.

We went from Cedar Rapids, IA for men's n women's fragrance shopping at Macy's. Very satisfied. Got 20%off by applying a Macy's card. Good fragrance collection. Very crowded as expected.
Good collection of men's clothing.

Woodfield Mall has something for everyone!
We prefer the early hours as crowds pack out this popular shopping spot.
I get a little Peopleophobic when I can't have a little space to call my own.

All I had time to visit was the Pottery Barn. It was like taking a kid to a candy store with $1! The Pottery Barn was very well stocked, and their sales staff was very friendly and helpful.

It's a nice mall. It's really big. It has a lot of options for shopping and dinning. It's easy to navigate as well.

This mall really has something for everyone. A great mix of high end and "average" stores, plus tons of food choices. It's a great way to spend the day if you're around Schaumburg.

This is by far the largest mall I have personally ever been to. There were three floors and hundreds of stores. The place was clean and in good condition and the people were pretty pleasant. There were unique stores, your traditional mall stores and even some good big and small restaurants. What was nice was there were not a lot of locals just hanging out making trouble like our malls back home in Michigan.

I grew up around Woodfield Mall so it was a regular place my friends and sisters went to. They continue to make updates in the mall. Great stores, so much to do, great quick food as well as very nice restaurants.

Woodfield has evolved into a trendy shopping mall. Always changing style and decor combine with many options including major chains and trendy stylish boutiques make this a destination worthy of a days outing. There are many food options as well so you can easily spend hours exploring.
Conveniently located off highway I90 Woodfield is surrounded by many other shopping venues.

A place to be bumped, where prices are inflated to account for the outrageous rent shopkeepers have to pay to mall owners. But occasionally there's no alternative, and I'm forced to go to this massive shopping mall where people who smell bad and have tattoos and piercings all over mix with normal suburbanites from the northwest part of the Chicago Metro area. It could be worse. At least it's all indoors.

While Malls are losing popularity, this is one of the best and largest in Illinois. Tour Buses regularly are visible in the parking lot. Fun to walk through especially on in-climate days. Plenty of Top Notch Restaurants either in the Mall or within 5 minutes of Woodfield. Worlds Largest Red Lobster 5 minutes away. Secondary Mall located across the street is also a great experience in conjunction.

Woodfield is as good an indoor mall as any other. There is nothing exceptional. Unlike the Mall of America, it has no gizmos to attack shoppers other that the obvious stores. It is too large to navigate from one end of the mall to the other which means you have to continually go back to your car to drop off packages if you bought a lot. Plus you would then have to move your car to the next section if you did not want to walk all the way back again. I prefer outside mall shopping even though parking can be a challenge there as well. Woodfield is way overrated. However, there are plenty who like it.

I have gone here often for dining and shopping as it is one of the largest shopping mega Malls in America
They feature a large range of dinning opportunity's along with at least a day's worth of shopping experiences.
Seasonal decorations and entertainment for children can be expected

Woodfield Mall has the largest selection of stores under one roof in the Chicago area. They run from more expensive stores like Nordstrom and Lord and Taylor to medium priced locations like Penney's and Sears. Also a large selection of specialized stores

Never understood the fascination with Woodfield Mall that brings 'em in by the busload. If you must go, try to go during the week in the middle of the day not during any major holiday season. Otherwise, enjoy the crowds.

We had an afternoon where we had absolutely nothing planned, so I was roped in to driving to Woodfield Shopping Center to partake in an afternoon of shopping. To be fair, I'm not a shopping person, but if you have to be at a mall, you may as well be at a really good mall. Woodfield has a great range of stores for everyone and an assortment of restaurants, as well. Woodfield Mall is a safe and secure environment. There is plenty of parking, so much so, that sometimes you will forget where you parked. We started with a particular store and worked our way around the mall.

One of the best malls I've been so far in the U.S, very impressed. Love the vibe. Was in there for a business meeting, but went to check out a couple of places there. ended up leaving with a small laptop.

The is a huge mall. I found all the stores I was looking for and more. The guest services desk was very friendly and helpful to me. I used a shuttle service from our hotel to be dropped off at the mall. I found lots of sales that day and had many packages. The guest services will hold your packages for you free of charge. That was a lifesaver for me. This mall has three levels but I found it easy to navigate. I used a public bathroom at the mall and it was clean. The stalls even have a built in shelf for packages so you don’t have to put anything on the floor. I had a great time and will return the next time I visit this area.

It was closing time and the mall was still packed with people trying to shop. It closes at 9pm on a weekend. I think 10pm would make more sense.

everytime me and my kids come to town we have to stop at the mall. mall has everything we need, even Garrett's popcorn.love it...

Everything I could ever want in a mall. Although I definitely needed more than two hours to see it all. Very clean. Plenty of great restaurants and shops. I definitely had to use the map to find my way out.

As a local, I frequent this mall with my family. There is a plethora of stores - we especially like Disney, Claire's, Sears, JCPenney, Apple, and Macy's. We sometimes go to walk and frequently our trips there are to eat at the restaurants. Rain Forest Cafe, Red Robin, and Cheesecake Factory are great, and Olive Garden and Longhorn are just outside of the mall. One piece of advice - weekends are really busy all year, and even more so at Christmas. We tend to go on weeknights or weekdays throughout the year, or if we have to go on a weekend we go early in the day.

Wow this mall is really big! Great store assortment and very clean. We visited when they had trick-or-treating for kids and it was amazing even at my age! This mall went all out and so did the retailers! Highly recommend you visit if you are in the area. Valerie

If you are a shopper this is the place for you. Hundreds of stores spread across miles of mall. If you need it you can find it here.

12 of our Travelers enjoyed the mall shopping getting massages, shopping, eating at food court & PF Changs it was all good experiences.

Great and huge mall with three levels. They have any store that you need, and anything that you would like to eat.

In a time where shopping malls arr becoming ghost towns, this mall is thriving! It is "the" place to be on a Saturday. They have your large anchor stores (Sears and Macy's), the specialty stores (Disney is still here), the kiosks are staffed, and a Garrett's Popcorn and an Auntie Anne's so you can snack before dinner - and they have choices for dining also!

The mall has some good stores but also didn’t have several that was listed on website. I felt like it was a maze as it has weird levels and steps at different points. The weekend we were there was extremely crowded as a celebrity of sorts was visiting a store for launch of product. It was like being in an
Amusement park during high peak time. This was the third time I’d been there and was disappointed.

Woodfield Mall opened on September 9, 1971. The mall features 6 anchors which are Macy's (Marshall Fields), JCPenney, Sears, Lord + Taylor, and Nordstrom. The mall is 3 floors. There used to be a Indoor Ice Rink where the New Located McDonalds is at now it's just a Service Corridor. Macy's is one of the first stores that opened to the public and features this Modern Style Atrium with Escalators. JCPenney was the second store that opened to the public which is now downgraded since 2009. Sears was the third store to open to the public featuring a wide selection of hardware and clothing. Lord + Taylor was the fourth store to open to the public but it was renovated in 1996 - 1997. The Nordstrom wing was built in 1995 and opened in 1996. In the 70's there was no elevators in the center court, the main elevators at the time were the Macy's Elevators. Lord + Taylor will be the first store to close it's doors in the mall on December 1, 2020.

This is huge mall with the major stores. The layout of the mall is amazing. Play area for the kids to run around and play

Mall was great
Great selection of stores
Great food variety
We walked through it but didn’t even make it through the whole mall but still great place not to crowded close to hotels and restaurants

walked around and window shopped before having lunch. free parking in the mall only a few blocks fry my hotel. a theater in the mall offered several movie options.

We have lived in the area for many years and have been here hundreds of times. Many shops to get pretty much anything you want. They seem to have most everything you would need. So many shops! Always been a good mall to shop!

We were having dinner at the Rain Forest and walked around the mall a bit before dinner. Very nice clean and "full" mall which is unusual these days. Great selection of stores and places to eat. We will be back for a weekend of Christmas shopping for sure.

This mall!! So many stores. Very large and slightly confusing to navigate. They have every store you could ask for under one roof. It's a mad house at Christmas and on black Friday so be forewarned. The parking can get dicey as well. There is also a Rainforest Cafe here and it's kinda nice for a break from shopping

Fantastic Mall
wide large one
located in nice area
with lovely restaurants and cafes
nice for shopping

I've been to Disney world and dealt with less rude, oblivious people... stores at Woodfield were so packed people were bumping into displays. Even my 15 year old daughter bailed on the outing.

We just love the Woodfield Mall. It has everything your looking for and you could spend a full day shopping. It's Definitley worth the stop for some great shopping.

We went to see the Land's End store only to find it had closed. We went into the mall and shopped at several stores, but didn't buy much. We found the Garrett's Popcorn stale. This mall was not the same as we remembered it.

My family and I visited this mall while out-of-town and I must say that its pretty large sized mall with great stores and awesome food choices. I can't say that I haven't shopped at comparable malls in other states including my home state. I guess every state has there own variations of this mall concept. Overall I enjoyed my visit and I may return wonder to shop.

This is still a very good mall. Most malls in my home area are shutting down or half empty. This mall still looks to have a pretty high occupancy and with good stores. Had a good time walking around and shopping.

Location, choice, cleanliness, you get it all. From fashion to food to electronics, all top players under one roof

Teens/tweens love the lush store with all the lush bombs and smellies. They enjoyed themselves; however the hotel shuttle left them waiting in the cold for > 30 min when said to be right around the corner.

We walked a little in this mall. We didn't see anything new or different. I did however buy a pair of shoes at the Clark's store!!

Much more selection of stores than near my home. No crazy good sales, lots of lines for food & drink vendors the later in the day it got. Plethera of choices at Macy's & JCP so nice to see. Just congested & lines which tries my patience a little.

We spent more than 8 hours in this mall. Nice selection of shops, hardly any vacancies, very quiet on a Monday in September. It only became a bit busier around 5 p.m. Plenty of benches to take a rest. Recommended !

We stopped at Woodfield Mall for a late lunch. The Christmas decorations were up, but it wasn't really too crowded at the time that we were there. After eating, we went on the Woodfield Choo Choo Express. It was located in the center concourse between Entrance 5 and Rainforest Cafe. It consisted of three cars pulled by a locomotive. The engineer was friendly and good with kids. The price at $5.00 per ride was reasonable, especially because it seemed like a longer ride. There was also a special to buy 3 tickets and get the 4th for free.

This mall is large and full of the best stores. They have very high end shopping available. The environment was very pleasant.

This mall has a ton of stores and plenty of good eating. The variety of store means there is something for everyone. It can get crowded but there is more than enough parking within reason. Definitely a must see while visiting Schaumburg.

This mall has a large variety of stores to ship at. Some are unique and you might only find them in a mall of this size. Plenty of restaurants and snack locations inside. Parking can be difficult, but that is to be expected. Great for families with pre-teens and teenagers!

Four seniors traveling Route 66 stayed in Elk Groove village, to visit Woodfield mall. It was still fun to see. Being in our mid-70’s, the walk around was more like an Australian walk about. We didn’t remember how big the mall was. We all had a great time.

The place is quite large, but it's an enclosed mall, which is a huge negative to me -- stale air, echoing noise, too hot in the winter and too cold in the summer. What's here is what's at virtually every other large mall in the United States. I'd much prefer Oak Brook or Old Orchard malls, both outdoor and nicely landscaped with enough stores to find what you need without all the pop-up shops. Typical mall food places should be skipped. Visit during the week and skip the weekends, which are full of teen groups and overtired, overstimulated children.

This place is completely self-contained. Tons of shopping, places to eat and lots of good exercise! Certainly a day trip experience!!

Nice mall 3 floors but no under amour store or vineyard vines! Wired that Disney Store no longer has free bags and wraps collectibles in paper towels! This did not exceed my expectations! Nor did the fact that the mall apparently rents out rows & rows of upfront parking. Then a private company charges you to park in those rows. Really?

While visiting the area, we couldn’t get anyone to agree on where they wanted to eat. Everyone wanted something different. I searched for a mall in the area and this mall popped up. It was only a mile from where we were. So we headed on over to see what their food court looked like. We were not disappointed!! Everyone was able to pick their own dinner and a different restaurant. Something for everyone! We enjoyed the McDonald’s, Charley’s, Sbarro, And Dunkin Donuts. Then we window shopped until the kids were tired. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely come back. The mall was huge, plenty of variety. The bathrooms were huge as well and clean. Food was more expensive than back home but then again, most everything in the area was. Be prepared to walk a lot. There’s so much to see!

One of the greater Malls in the area. In addition to the shops in the mall there are 5 large department stores to furnish you with the things you need.

I was not expecting such a large and beautiful mall. We spent about 5 hours there and it didn't seem that long at all. Loved all the different stores that you don't see in typical malls. My best experience was getting a peanut butter rolled ice cream with bananas. If you have never tried rolled ice cream, you have to get it. It was so good! If you like shopping, this is the mall for you.

Wood field Mall is the place to be when it’s hot out. Large mall with everything you need. We went specifically for Stan’s glutenless donuts. They are the best. Will drive the 45 minutes each way just to get these.

We went there for dinner to go to the Rainforest Cafe. They had a cute little train ride right outside the cafe which our grandson loved. Then they had a play area with climb on things for kids. There were a ton of kids. And our grand child spent over an hour playing there. What a great time we had just going to the local mall.

I am from Costa Rica, and viviste Woodfield Mall just to know the place... I ended buying several stuff because they had offers and discounts in many stores...

This is a huge busy mall with great stores and dining. I was able to rent a stroller for my grandson and there were ramps to accommodate the stroller as well as elevators.

If you're going to base yourself in Schaumburg, this mall is all you need. You can eat, wear, shop, and do anything you want, all in one place.

My daughter's was in shopping heaven. They have every store in the world for teens. My husband even was in the mood for shopping and since it's ok selection for lunch or dinner we ate there. Live for this mall.

I have been shopping at Woodfield Mall since 1978 and it has always been great, It now has a food court which for a BIG mall is only had restaurants. Its has a beautiful Christmas setup and have the best Santa around and very festive. Wide selection of stores.

Big mall, lots of stores to see that you don't always see in smaller towns such as Lush, Altard state, H&M, Zara, and more. Very good food selections. Really recommend two days to see the mall. Parking situations were not bad at all!

Great place. Have quite a few known shops with good collection. Everything at one place. One of the key visits if in Chicago

Love the wide variety of stores to choose from. Always clean and neat. Lots of parking. Many different great choices for food. Lots of close free parking. One of the better shopping malls in the USA.

This mall has almost all of the major store chains all in one place. It even has a store I have never been to - 100% Pure (love it!). The design is a little confusing so you might miss some of the stores if you are not careful. I enjoyed spending a half-day exploring this mall and hope I get a chance to visit again if in the area.

We enjoyed being out with the after Christmas crowds. The mall seemed to be making a strong effort to stay relevant during the COVID pandemic.

As a resident of Schaumburg, The Mall is our shopping center, downtown, and local center all wrapped up into one. It really is the center for THREE Shopping Centers located side by side, but separated by a street -The Village Green on the north, The Woodfield Mall in the middle, and The Streets of Woodfield on the south.
Together they offer everything that you may need or could want from: Large Major Stores, to Small Unique Stores; From High End Shopping to all the Discount Stores; From High End Resturants to Fast Food Eating, From Movie Theaters to Live Theater,
and From High End Hotels to National Chain Motels.
The Woodfield Mall, which is the major player of the three, is itself always changing, and the management just announced a major new food court concept to be opened within the Mall itself in the next year.
My only advice is that from Thanksgiving to the first of each Year, be prepared for an average of 50 busses per day from all over the surrounding States to be parked at the Mall with shoppers from everywhere, so be prepared to walk a ways for parking and be patient while shopping!
This is the best place to buy anything and everything and have a good time while doing it. Also, in the three shopping centers you will find all of the stores under one roof at The Woodfield Mall; but in an outside shopping setting with individual stores connected, but in individual locations, at the Village Green and at The Streets of Woodfield.

Very big mall in Schaumburg Chicago.....
Many brands.....
Many choices.....
Lots of spaces but weekends still not enough,so crowded
Better to make shopping weekdays.....

Aside from parking being a challenge the mall is very nice. There's something for all ages and it is clean. Plan to do lots of walking when visiting.

Good assortment of typical mall stores plus some different stores. Most shoppers were carrying bags.

Lots of shops BUT NO BARNES AND NOBLES! I never saw a kids play area? The stores started closing down at 8:30 although the mall didn't close until 9 pm. Would be good to have at each major entrance a paper index-card size listing the shoppes in alphabetical order and in location order. Rue 21 had a nice sale and they were helpful and friendly- didn't force us out although we were still in there past 9 pm. It felt safe and janitors were helpful for directing us back to where we parked although the anchor store we came through had already closed. I would visit again. Needs a book store!

The mall is good situated near highway.
There are a lot of shopsYou can spend there a whole day.
It is very overcrowded at the weekdays

A great place to meet friends, shop, have lunch or dinner, spend time with family. Woodfield mall has it all and more. A must see when you are in the Chicago area.

Not body wise but work and living. A great hang out for almost everybody. For more than 10 years this was a place of choice for me, my friends and family. Love Woodfield mall.

Very nice mall with 3 levels that includes big anchor stores such a Macy’s. Cheesecake Factory is located at this mall. Garrett’s Popcorn is located inside the mall outside of Macy’s.

A multi-faceted and large shopping mall. Big main stores. Clean rooms. Many different parking facities (indoor and out).

I stopped here while in town for a sporting event. It is a very large mall and had plenty of parking. In addition to the usual national brands, this mall had some other unique stores. There are several things to do for fun, several places to shop, and lots of places to eat in and outside the mall. I know it is “just a mall”, but it is bigger than what I am use to, and I enjoyed the time I spent there.

We just strolled around the mall. We were just looking to walk off our dinner. This was my first time at this mall and would love to go back during the holidays. Many stores, several I had never heard of before. A must stop is the Garrett's Popcorn location in the mall.

This mall is massive. Bringing your spouse or your Significant Other needs considerable thought before bringing them with you. :) My husband begged to go with me. Mistake! after 20 minute, it was... "too crowded, too hot, no place to sit and no place to hang his coat" I on the otherhand LOVED IT! Everything you ever wanted. A smidge pricey but then I'm from Wisconsin and everything is expensive to this Midwestern gal. This mall would be fun to go with a group of girlfriends. Parking was easy, and plenty of places to get a refreshment. I do concurr with the person that said she was hounded by "Time Share"sales people. That was a bit annoying, but they are just doing their job. Recommend stopping here, but give yourself a solid 5 hours to experience it all. Happy Shopping!

I would highly recommend to visit the Woodfield Mall. During my visit in August we went there after a friend recommended it to us. Perfectly reachable and a huge variation of stores!

Malls are dying all over the country, but Woodfield is still kicking. It was a nice way to spend a couple hours. There is a really nice variety of stores, clothes, games, electronics, music, etc. Some malls you go to are only clothing stores and that's boring.

This is one of the best mall I have ever been too. So many option to choose from. I reccomend if you in the area please stop by it will be worth it.

Sometimes we take it for granted but Woodfield is one of the nation's best. Always safe and clean with a great selection of stores. Reasonable prices, good variety of places to eat. What more could a shopper want!!!!

very nice place ,the stores were reasonably priced, very nice things. good food, it was only 1 or 2 blocks from the hotel

The place has it's own zip code for Pete's sake!
Whatever your hobby, whatever your interests, whatever your material needs are laid before you!
Always crowded & always in demand, this structure has it all.
Crazy, traffic snarling, stupid, stupid, stupid delays around the Holidays and special occasions. But that is to be expected.
Major, and I mean Major, contributor to the economic engine that fuels the Chicago Metro Area.
Even if you don't spend a dime, Woodfield Mall is something to see!
Might I add...People Watch.
Amazing, simply amazing!
Great place! Go!

Schedule some time and bring some money because this is a shopping extravaganza.. From food to fun to all kinds of unique and interesting shops await you.. If you cannot find it at Woodfield, then it is most likely not being sold at the time.. also theaters await when you are done and want some evenings entertainment.

Was in the area and decided to stop at one of the stores in the mall looking for some items. This place certainly is not what it used to be 20 years ago! One advantage is you can always get parking close to the doors!

Woodfield Mall is located off of major expressways, 90/53. If you live in Illinois or are visiting , this is a mall to check out. Great stores and places to eat. Plenty of parking. One of the largest malls in Illinois.
Plenty of shopping also in Schaumburg, where the mall is located.

Wonderful mall! Something for everyone! Loved the fact there were a mixture of high end stores and stores for you everyday average consumer.

This place is so big it has it's own zip code! What does that tell ya? Anything your heart desires is here. It's a crazy place, especially around the Holiday shopping time. What more can ya say? If you are willing to fight the crowd, and really want to get what you desire...this is the place for you! Go!

No working women's bathroom in the entire mall. Dont risk the mens room, its the most disgusting thing I've ever had to experience. No working AC in the entire mall. It is juat as hot and humid inside the mall, as it is outside. If you are heat intolerant i highly recommend you avoid this mall until the winter months. My chikd was throwing a fit at one point, so i went on a hunt for pacifiers, because we forgot hers in the car... i was yelled at and followed around macys like i was some type of theif. This was an all around terrible experience for my family. We will stick with gurnee mills mall from here on out

We decided to drive up for the day. The mall is very big and nice. It has all the good stores that we like plus a lot of different shop which we love to go in and see what they have.

This place is huge! Many stores and restaurants, multiple levels. Doesn’t seem over crowded even when busy.

So many choices of shops as well as places to eat. Plan to spend a day to stroll through the mall and enjoy a lunch along with a wide selection of dinner places . .
PS - Don't forget where you parked your car !

Second largest Mall in America is so well laid out and convenient to shop! Beautiful inside and super clean!
Every store to choose from along with some specialty shops! PF CHangs and Cheesecake Factory are two anchor
Restaurants then another food court. We went twice during an extended stay in Shaumburg, IL only a mile from hotel

My family and I shop here often. They just finished a recent remodel and the place looks great. It's difficult to not find what your looking for with all of their premier shopping options. However, my girls favorite store is Alter'ed State.

I like to shop and look. I don’t want to be bothered by sales people following me around trying to sell and up sell. My 12 year old son accidentally touched a many well into his 30s-40s and the man screamed at him and PUSHED him. I was appalled at how rude ppl are. We left and won’t go back.

One of the best place in Schaumburg for shopping and killing time. Nice layout in-houses almost all desirable brands and ample parking. Nice restaurants and food outlets too. Loved it.

I've been coming here for so long now and all I can say is Woodfield has a store for everything! Woodfield even has fun stalls set up and they have a great restaurant selection too! Woodfield always has the coolest and wackiest new merchandise in the stores and they have lots of dessert places and an absolutely incredible and unique ice cream place called Aha Rolled Ice Cream, I've never had a treat as neat and unique as rolled ice cream, and you can chose toppings too! You can never get bored here.

This is maybe the largest mall I have ever been to. Several large department stores anchor all ends with multiple levels staggered throughout the mall. A clever mix of escalators, ramps, steps, and elevators, allow you to navigate the levels easily. There is no food court, but several places to eat including some fast food like McDonald's and sit down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory. This turned out to be a great place to take our basketball team to burn some time without expending too much energy.

We went to enjoy this beatifull mall, and to buy Poké one of our favorites food in Ahy Poké, it was delicius!

You can find a store for any need. It's extremely well kept up and clean. No matter what I was shopping for, one of their stores seemed to have it. Be prepared for a long walk from parking lot to mall entrances.

I live in the area and shop here often. There is a great variety of stores in the mall. The anchor stores are Macy's, Sears, JC Penney, Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor. This mall is so much better than Mall of America in MN. Woodfield has more stores than Mall of America.

We just wanted to walk around and waste some time before dinner. So many people. We ended up not eating at the mall because it was way too expensive.

I've been coming here for years, and the excitement and shopping aura of Woodfield has never faded away, there's always something fun to do everytime. At Woodfield, they have a store for everyone and every interest and hobby and they have some spectacular restaurants too. They also have some fun little stalls and shops, a play area for kids, and some great coffee and dessert places too! There is also a huge selection of clothing stores with all types of clothing to choose from. Woodfield is a destination you don't want to miss!

I visit this Mall everytime I'm in the area.
It is huge, slightly odd layout but everything is there.
Just remember where you parked the car !!!

I have stopped and shopped at Woodfield for over 30 years. The mall was much busier years ago and certainly nothing like it was in the past. Still they seem to keep the stores pretty much filled not like a number of other malls in the Chicagoland area. It would be nice if it could return to what it was before although I highly doubt that will be happening.

I love going to this mall. It does get busy on a weekend butbit is managable w small children in a stroller. They do have a play area (but it does get packed).
A very goos variety of stores and restaurants. No food court but a few fast food places inside.

If your looking for something different for yourself or a gift, you are most likely to find it here. Lot of unique stores, and some stores you know you gonna find what you want. After you shop til you drop, your going to be hungry. Lots of different restaurants inside and outside the mall. If you just want to have a nice dinner or stop for drink, you might want to go to a show or a comedy club afterwards.

I love this mall! I live in Schaumburg so it's a staple destination for all my shopping needs. It has all the major brands, you name it and you'll find it here. Their latest addition is Garrett's Popcorn. Ah! Love! I even go here for my Mac support needs because there is a highly efficient Apple center here too! Everything we suburban people would need to go to Downtown for, we have it all right here. The play area is very cool for people who have kids. Plenty of dining options. It's always clean and I never realize where the day passes once you are inside. Plenty of parking spaces too. If I had to give a tip, I would say wear comfortable shoes, there's a lot of walking to do!

If possible avoid busy weekend hours because parking looked busy on Saturday in comparison to Friday afternoon.

We went to the Mall on Friday night. The place was very busy. If you don't mind people it's a nice mall to go to. Huge place just a nice place for you to go just to walk, shop and eat. Lots of stores and lots of restaurants. It's something in there for EVERYONE.

This is an excellent mall. However, the dining situation here is unacceptable. Because of "COVID", the mall has removed all chairs and installed barricades on tables that can't be removed. This has forced mall patrons to eat on top of barricades or eat food while sitting on the floor. This mall should accommodate to the needs of mall patrons and allow those shopping in the mall the ability to eat food at a table. It makes no sense that I can eat food at a table at restaurants outside of the Woodfield Mall, but I cannot do this in the dining pavilion. Management at the Woodfield Mall needs to be less incompetent.

Nice place to shop. Mall is on the larger side and is three floors in some spots. Mall itself and restrooms are very clean. I like that this mall appears to be thriving. Not many empty stores like the malls have where we live. Lots of choices for food and it even has play areas for the kids to run off some energy. Glad we stopped for a few hours.

Great mall to visit. Plenty of shops with reasonable prices. It is not a small mall. The sales people are welcoming and ready to help. Shops carry nice clothes.

The architecture alone is worth seeing in this mall. It’s a very interesting building and there are so many shops. You can find everything you need there, from JCP to Lush and MK. There’s a Garrett’s popcorn, chocolate shops, Sephora... I could go on and on. It’s a great place to go and take the family!

Woodfield Mall is a very intriguing place to go. It has something for everyone and easy to get to from all directions.

Good number of shops & restaurant. Used to be the premier mall but now feel like it's lost that premium look since Simon mall has taken over the property. If you are near the Schaumburg area it's
Great to go but not a destination like it used to be

Mall that had alot of people in it and alot of energy. Had a great selection of shops and places to eat. The best part was it had a Garrett's popcorn in it and tasted great.

100% Recommended. The is one of the best malls in Chicago land with branded shops. There is always a sale there on everything. You can buy branded stuff for cheap. Also, alot more activitives for kids. You live in chicago or visiting you gotta go to woodfield mall.

Not my favorite place to go. Hard to navigate the parking lot and crazy busy inside. But, if you can't find what you are looking for at Woodfield, it doesn't exist.

Large mall with great selection of stores. Activities for kids while parents shop. Overall a nice place

nice to shop and can find what I want They have so many good names of stores
Its nearby my house about a mile to drive

It's not really 3 levels, just a cluster f in the middle. And don't depend on the mall wifi to use a map to stores: it was never able to complete: "this page no longer exists"

they have a great Chicago Tourist store to shop for items to bring home. Lots of places weren't open due to it was March and cold. One of the locals told us about here and it was a little trip but fun.

It is a nice clean mall that is pretty much full which is nice to be at. The Garrett's popcorn here is great and great variety of stores.

I used to work near by and went pretty often to Woodfield Mall. It's really huge and has all kind of stores you can think about. The place is clean, looks very nice, great service and has good food court. Prices may be high in some stores. You can come to the mall just to walk around and kill some time if you have nothing else to do.

Woodfield has the finest collection of department stores, including; specialty shops, dining and entertainment.
It's located in one of Chicago's best Western Suburbs, with nearly 300 stores and restaurants.
They are open Monday-Saturday from 10am to 9pm. The hours on Sunday and Holidays are different, hence check before heading to it.
Get your walking shoes and enjoy it.

My friend pick me up and we best on a shopping trip together with Imperial Travel out of Lafayette Indiana. we left Lafayette Indiana at 8:00 a.m. and arrived at the mall about 10:30 am their time. The bus let us off at a certain place and this is where he picked us up at 5:00 to travel back to Lafayette Indiana. the mall was hughe with over 300 stores in it. We ate at Red Robin, and of course, we are familiar with that chain of eating places, because Indiana has several around the state. We did not visit all of the stores, we just shopped in the ones we were interested in. We did find out that if you ever shop Charming Charlie['s the biggest one in the country is at Woodfield Mall. We had a lot of fun, but during the holidays it is one busy place. Yes I would recommend it to anyone who likes to shop. Just take plenty of money and have plenty of time also, because it is one big mall.

It may be the largest mall in Chicago-land, it's all covered and that makes it a great spot to visit on a hot or a cold or a rainy day. Lots of shopping, lots of food options.

Woodfield may be large, but it is very comfortable to walk around. Don't let its size scare you. Park near Sears on east side or JCPenneys on the west side to avoid fighting for a parking spot. Once inside you can go walk wherever you want. They have done a great job updating the interior. It feels fresh and modern. Store mix is wide ranging from the middle to high end. One unique feature is that there isn't a food court, but there's no shortage of good sit down restaurants and quicker food options too.

Woodfield Field Mall is a multi-level huge Mall every store you can imagine great shopping won't disappoint you!!!!

Very nice mall. Great Restaurants. Long wait times on Friday and Saturday nights. Good variety of stores.

Lots of shops - biggest mall I have ever been in. People were friendly in the shops. Was a lot of different shops than the usual anchor stores in usual malls. A good way to get your steps in if you are looking for exercise.

We love this mall. It has awesome stores like Lunch Box, Bath and Body works, sketchers, Disney store, and Vera Bradley.

Nice place to visit and shop.
Had amazing time , lots of selection of stores, food and activities for kids .

This is very near to our place at Hoffman Estates. Best and favorite hangout place. Lot of dining and shopping place.
A Great Shopping Experience
Woodfield Mall is one of the best malls with many high-end, quality stores. It is worth the trip if you are in the area.
