Quick Visit

By Cryptic_Tourist |

My husband and I came here for a quick visit and thought it was pretty neat! Some of the exhibits are just a bit too crowded to be enjoyed in my opinion, especially the Vault. But the tasting room makes up for all of that, RIP the old Club Cool at Epcot.

The gift shop is bomb tho!

Disappointed

By Melissa C |

My daughter and I had a lovely visit. We enjoyed sampling the different flavors from different countries. We also enjoyed the tour. Unfortunately, we were disappointed when we went to have a $8.95 can of Coke personalized, but were unable to do so. My daughter wanted a can to say Jesus Loves You or Jesus Loves Me. She was told NO, it was against religious views. We proceeded towards the checkout, and they had cans labeled Gay Pride. We do not understand why our request was denied. We do not judge people for their beliefs or lifestyles. She just wanted a souvenir from Atlanta personalized to her liking. My daughter has visited the Coca-Cola World in Atlanta several times and always wants to visit when we are there. She always has her Coca-Cola lip gloss in her purse. It always sparks a conversation, and she loves saying, "I got it in Atlanta at Coca-Cola World."

A visit full of charm

By Jessica L |

I live in Atlanta and for years I always said I wanted to go to the Cocoa Cola museum and every time I put it off. This February I made up my mind and went. I loved it, especially the interactive parts. Thinking that there is so much history behind a drink is fascinating.

World of Coca Cola ripoff

By Larue D |

Reasonably priced attraction if you like being ripped off. Do not waste your money. This so over rated and disappointing. Long long lines to get in and similar inside. Most of your time is spent standing in line and overall displays were disappointing. SAVE your money. Biggest tourist trap I've ever seen

Frustrating expectations

By RicardoMSoares |

The visit to The World of Coca-Cola was frustrating. Obsolete attractions, uninspired staff, poor maintenance, worn-out chairs, old decor, really very little for the price paid and the greatness and importance of the company that gives the place its name. Also a disappointment because it is located in Atlanta, which is the city where the company is based, and because it receives a huge number of tourists from all over the world who, certainly, have much higher expectations.

Coca-Cola with the family!

By Adam H |

This is a great place to take the family to learn about the history of Coca-Cola and taste the variety of products they offer around the world!

Fun and Fizzy Stop, But Heavy on the Branding

By Spencer I |

The World of Coca-Cola offers a lively and colorful experience, though it leans more into brand celebration than historical depth. There’s a touch of nostalgia and storytelling, but much of the attraction feels like a well-crafted advertisement — which is expected when visiting the home of one of the world’s most iconic beverages.
A standout feature is the interactive photo booth that transforms faces into vintage Coca-Cola ads. It’s clever, entertaining, and makes for a memorable keepsake. The soda tasting room, while a fun concept, was too crowded to fully enjoy. It’s difficult to savor the flavors when packed in shoulder-to-shoulder.
Despite the crowding, the attraction is worth a visit for those in Atlanta looking for a lighthearted, bubbly stop filled with photo ops and brand nostalgia. For budget-conscious visitors, consider purchasing tickets through a third-party vendor for a better deal.

A must-see for any Coke fan!

By AvidTravellerSP |

The tour was very well organized and segmented to regulate the number of visitors at a given time. The one guide (first stop) was energetic and knowledgeable.
It's only 6 areas to explore, but once you get past the short film, you can spend as long as you want in the vault, tasting room, 'smells' room, (and of course) gift shop.

Great time with kids

By mavi555 |

Great family outing to World of Coca Cola in Jan 2024! Kids loved the interactive exhibits and tasting different sodas. A bit crowded but a fun, fizzy adventure.

Very good

By MTMHampshire |

We really liked this. It had a good mix of some history, some film and some interactive items plus the opportunity to taste their products from around the world in a big tasting room.

By Mattie D |

Nice to see all kinds of things from Coca Cola together. Spacious with a few videos. Obviously touristy, but that was to be expected. You can also taste all kinds of Coca Cola drinks there.

It’s worth $8.50 and not a penny more

By Kenneth M |

BORING. Free soda - not a big thing, unless you want to be large and get diabetes. Really, it’s not the Guinness tour in Dublin.

Fun experience!

By Rachelle C |

This is a fun place to take families! We took our four children, ages 16-8, and all enjoyed learning about Coca-Colas history (and of course the free soda samples at the end!) Would recommend!

Great disappointment

By Mitoku |

Not that I had high expectations but honestly I expected something more particular and engaging. Unfortunately none of this, so many signs and historical images, an emotional film of no interest, and an area to try the different drinks. For the price I paid I would have expected more.

By Heath Wagner |

One might think this is going to be a really neat visitors experience. I finished up thinking this just just a Coke promotion exhibit with minimal information teaching you about the Coca Cola history or brand itself. Towards the end you do get to sample different Coke versions from around the world and just as with any visitors experience you are directed into a gift shop as a last minute cash grab for Coca Cola, BUT I will admit this was the best part of it. Definitely not worth the price of admission if you ask me, and you can enter the Coca Cola gift shop for free if you would like to purchase any brand labeled merchandise.

A must for coke fans. Just ok for others.

By specialspeed |

If you are not a fan of Coke products, you should probably skip this activity. It completely revolves around Coke and Coke products. It is basically one huge Coke ad. You will learn a little history of Coke. There is also some interesting information on how beverages are made by mixing different flavors. You also learn a little about how smell affects taste.

Coke was a major sponsor of the Olympics in Atlanta and a bunch of giant coke bottles were designed by each country and those are on display here. I found them interesting, you might not. There are also displays of old ads from around the world. I really liked those. You also see some ads from events Coke sponsored over the years.

They did a fun section in the "vault" about the secret formula. At the end of this section you get to see what they said was the actual vault with the formula, I am not sure that is really the vault, but it was fun to think it was.

At the start they gave you a cup to use to sample soda. You will get a lot of use out of it. Near the start you get to taste a new soda they are tasting. It is pink and tasted pretty meh to me. Just before you get dumped into the Coke store, you are in a large room with a bunch of tasting stations. I would guess there were about 50 different sodas from the USA and other places around the world that you could taste. It was interesting to see what people in other countries preferred. There are a lot of sodas to taste, so pace yourself. I did about 1/2 inch of each and that was plenty for me. As most are full sugar sodas, the floor was very sticky from people spilling drinks. There was someone mopping the floors, but it is not easy keeping up with so many people spilling stuff. The most interesting part to me was comparing "new coke" to "classic Coke".

The last part, as expected, is getting dumped into the Coke store with a bunch of overpriced stuff. Even a simple magnet is $7. But you do get to keep the cup they gave you at the start. I paid $22 for a ticket and I would say that is about the most I would be willing to pay.

Brilliant experience

By 342lorraine74 |

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Absolutely loved the tour at the beginning. Gave us lots of interesting facts about how Coca Cola started.
The best part of the tour was the tasting at the end. We could have spent hours in there. Brilliant experience.

Quench your thirst!

By Margaret M |

Coca Cola is an iconic beverage globally. Getting the ticket in advance helped avoided the lines. The introduction before getting directly into the building was fun and inviting. The various modules of checking out the taste and history of the product was very educational and fun. It can get a little overwhelming at times with the crowds and reading through all the displays. Coca Cola has done a great job of walking you through their process. I would go back again just to be able to absorb in all the various displays.

If you like drinking lots of Coke, this is for you. Otherwise pass…

By danielh5 |

We were stopping in Atlanta overnight and this was advertised as a main attraction. $20 tickets seems like a lot unless you like drinking soda (unlimited). Otherwise the attraction includes the origin story of Coke and lots of marketing. Should have been free admission.

Great Experience

By olivia |

Loved it . Great experienced with my family. Recommend buying the pictures. Taste the different drinks and enjoy the tour!

Neat history, no food

By Rylee B |

We had a great time learning about the history of coke. We wish there was a small food cart or stadium-style food like hotdogs, burgers, or popcorn somewhere in the world of coke. Drinking all the different sodas in the tasting area really got us hungry.

By Doris C |

Went with 3 girls teenagers. Ticketing was easy, they scanned it from my phone (bought from TA). We had a quick intro, then a short film. Later we went to the vault, smell, taste, history sections. They had the polar bear photos available (he looked a little scary) and then we watched the 3D film. We def enjoyed the tasting. They have a shop as well. Overall, we all enjoyed the visit a lot. Definitely something to do at least once.

Very good immersive experience in the world and the history of this great brand

By Max Paul B |

For amateurs and fans of the brand a must-see and mythical place. Hundreds of beautiful objects and advertisements. Flawless museography, only flat no text in French...

Don't waste your time or money!

By Tiffany K |

Someone went to Goodwill, bought all the Coke memorabilia and is now charging $21 to look at it. The "Tasteing Room" is a packed, sticky mess. 🤮

By Nerdpatch17 |

First time ever going to the world of coca-cola. Very informative and friendly staff. You receive a free coca-cola cup to use for the free cola stations. After the first two parts of the tour, you then have your own self guided tour. My boyfriend and I spent about and hour in the area looking at each area. The place is clean expect for the soda station area but that cause of people spilling soda all over the place. I loved the personalized soda can, it’s my favorite souvenir from the place. My favorite photo from the experience was with the coca-cola polar bear! I highly recommend this experience. Get the city pass! It worth the money and I honestly believe it saves you soo much money.

Convenient!

By Ester Y |

It was very easy no need to get in line and just went straight. I learned and enjoyed the trivia and the staffs are very friendly and courteous. Tasted all types of Coca Cola in the world.

Seems promising but QR code did not work

By Worlds_of_Wonder |

Very convenient because, well, you get to skip the line. However the QR code did not work and almost had the huge pain of getting in the ticket line to resolve the matter. Fortunately a supervisor was present and let us go in after looking at our tickets

By Halsey |

Many activists to do and we spent around 3 hours there. There were exhibitions on the history of Coca Cola and old many posters from the past all over the world. We got to build our own drink - but the machine was not available at that time. You can also try the beverages all over the world. A good place for local citizens to kill their time on weekends, but probably not that worth it if you are a tourist with limited time in Atlanta.

Top notch experience!!

By RoamArounds |

What a fun museum! Our favorite exhibit was the old fashioned soda fountain where you could look into the mirror and AI would transform your image into a vintage portrait. Also, enjoyed learning the history of Coke and sampling all of the different beverages in the tasting room.
P.S. - Bring back Tab!!

Worth the time and $$

By 1967foodie |

Our family of three went to the Coke museum on a Sunday morning 11/2/25. Our 10yo son enjoyed the experience- especially all the Coke memorabilia. My wife and I enjoyed the experience and especially the tasting room and the history of Coke. It’s a one-and-done experience but a definite must do once.

A one-and-done experience

By Sarah Merly |

World of Coca-Cola had a few clever exhibits, but the aroma exhibit and the tasting lab were pretty gimmicky. It's nice to say that I've been there, but I would guess only the Coke superfans would visit more than once.

Fun!

By Emily S |

Museum that makes you feel like you’re having fun instead of learning! Tasting section had me trying flavors from areas of the world I’d never experience otherwise. Only thing I’d like to see is less timed activities. Every part of the museum, you have to wait a certain amount of minutes to enter and it made me feel a bit rushed in some parts but waiting long for only a small section in others. It was great tho! Had fun and would love to take my parents someday!

Save your money - don't visit the World of Coca Cola

By lithlith |

I love Coke and I was hoping this was going to be awesome, but I left completely confused. I'm not sure what I paid for to visit this. This museum/experience is all over the place. First you get crammed into a little room with items of coke logos all over them. It would have been nice to look around, but it was just a staging area before we were forced into watching a short movie which had absolutely nothing to do with Coke. Then we were off to the actual museum/experience. There was some memorabilia scattered throughout, but everything felt disjointed, separated, and just odd in the whole place. There were a couple of experiences that had certain times and we lucked out with timing and were able to see the 3-D, which was also confusing and we were able to get a photo with someone dressed up as the coke bear. The best part was the tasting room where you could try beverages from around the world, but after all of that, we left with tummies that didn't feel so great. Honestly, I wish someone else had written a review like this so we could have saved our money for something else in Atlanta, because this was a worthless rip off.

Family at World of Coke

By Gregg G |

This was absolutely awesome! Thank you very much! Great memories made, and fantastic job with the pics.

By Steve E |

We’ve b en to Coke World 3 tim a before, but he last time was before COVID. We love the exhibits, the Coke Tasting Stations, and the reasonable admissions price, but we were disappointed with recent changes like doing away with the Coke movie where you got mist d and changing the Vault room/ exhibit.

By Jenny D |

Coca Cola, the legend, the history and for those who don't know, Coca Cola was born in Atlanta, inside you will find the oldest things and objects in the history of Coca Cola. The cost of entry is 21 dollars... at the end of the tour you can taste the various drinks made from Coca Cola...

High Expectations, Very Basic Experience

By G N |

I visited World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta with high expectations, but the experience was disappointing. For such an iconic brand, the tour feels very basic and not very technological. The exhibits are boring and not very interactive, lacking a clear or coherent narrative.

I visited during the holiday season expecting a special atmosphere, especially the polar bears world, but the Christmas decorations were very simple and had little visual impact. Everything felt generic and without a well-defined concept.

Overall, it does not reflect the innovation or creativity one would expect from Coca-Cola. It may work for a quick visit, but it was not a memorable experience nor worth the price.

Not our cop of cola

By Arla T |

If your time in the city is short give this a pass. You are paying to see Coca Cola advertising. Tasting products from around the world was interesting. Beware the giant gift shop. In 10 days of vacationing our least preferred visit.

What a boring waste of time and money

By Safari18706654727 |

Soooooo boring. How can they charge more than $20/person for this! The "museum" is disorganized and you don't learn anything. Now the 4D movie I had heard about and was looking forward to is gone. I want a refund. First off you are forced to watch a little film about family, happiness, joy, I don't even know what that was about. Why was I forced to watch it, it wasn't even about coke. Anyway, you go on to tour 6 exhibit rooms. They were all boring, except of course the tasting room. I did not learn anything. My kids were antsy and bored to death and so was I. After visiting the first 3 museum rooms downstairs I was excited to go upstairs and watch the 4D movie I had heard was the highlight of the museum. Nope! I was told it was being re-imagined or maybe it's just gone for good. $20 to see a bunch of boring relics, a little history of the manufacturing of Coca-Cola that I could have leaned on YouTube, and then all the coke you can drink. Please pass on this. They are not even trying. I told my kids I'd take them to Wendy's next time and they can use the freestyle machine and taste as many cokes as they want for $2. What a ripoff!

The Coca-Cola experience

By mokfmb |

This was a fun experience, the vault, 3d movie, pictures with the Bear and the tasting room were all cool attractions, nice memorabilia couldn't resist to buy some stuff there :) 2 hours is usually enough to most families, recommend the city pass,
that includes this the amazing Aquarium next to it, the Atlanta Zoo, Fernbank Museum, etc,

Absolutely not my cup of tea...

By Florence d |

Except tasting all strange drinks sold by the Coca-Cola company, I was very disappointed.
This site is a tribute to a worldwide marketing and commercial history. In the most interesting part "the vault", a guide makes a very fast summary, not leaving the time to read / educate ourselves...

By FamilyTraveller |

This place is worth visiting if you’re a big Coca Cola fan. It gives a run down of the history etc.

I don’t think you need more than hour or two here. The tasting area was chaos - very busy, with lots of spillages and a very sticky floor.

By Ciara J |

Alot of things have changed since i went. There was no 4d movie like last time. If i remember correctly we were supposed to take home a vintage coke free of charge but no.

Don't come here, there is nothing of value to see or do

By Adam S |

Real shit. Just marketing for Coca Cola and some taste tests and smell games. Don't go here, it's expensive and a waste of time

By Ann R |

Totally over rated. The experience started with what was supposed to be a history of the company. The attendant struggled with the script and then just gave up without finishing, leaving the audience to just stand there until the doors opened to the next room. The laboratory experience where everyone is supposed to smell different scenes is an invitation to catch a cold or COVID. You can taste many different sodas, but people seemed to think a lot of them were gross. Save your time and money and walk over to the aquarium for a truly memorable experience.

You are paying for a Coke advertisement

By Donald R |

I regret going to the World of Coca Cola. $25 is a high price ticket to see an advertisement for Coke. There is mainly showing off their products and only a little actual history of Coke or soft drinks in general. I was surprised to learn that Cola Cola had purchased a lot of other beverage companies around the world including my favorite soft drink which isn't available in the US. It was interesting to test the soft drinks from other countries. That, however, was not worth $25.

My advice - go to an actual museum and not an advertisement.

By LaurenEA91 |

Seeing the history of something as common as soda was pretty cool however the areas to walk through are not very spacious. Getting to taste all of the different products from around the world was very cool. The clear winner for me was the exotic Fanta from Uganda.

Watch out you will be overcharged for the little ones

By Maps14665460617 |

We took our two years old girl with us which it is supposed to be free of charge for the entrance. However, the ticketing booth lady charged her more than $20. I went back to ticketing booth and she lied that my husband told her our girl is three. Until I asked my husband to confront her about the conversation, she changed her excuse to that they are not allowed to ask customers’ age. Not only being rude, shady but also a such barbaric attitude. Even worse, she refused to refund the money back, asking me to suck it up! Had to get the manager involved to get the overcharged money back. This was not easy either. Why such a big Coca Cola company being so shady and try to exploit money from the customers?

By BirdBlu |

When we arrived the staff was not prepared for the VIP tour
They did not have the tour guide meet us until after the other main tour was already underway.
Which made for very crowded exhibits. For example, we were not led into the movie until it was halfway through. The exhibit room was overly crowded and only had 2 minutes to quickly look around.
I think that I would have enjoyed the experience if we would have gotten the experience that we paid for

Fun and informative visit to the home of Coca Cola

By Kevin S |

Great place, really enjoyed ourselves. Made you feel really welcome and kept you informed. Really interesting seeing / reading the history about Coca Cola with some interactive displays and photo opportunities. Especially liked the AI pictures.

Terrible experience with buy ahead tickets.

By Russell H |

We arrived late as you need to be there 2 hours prior to closing. The website says they were open until 7:00 and we arrived prior to that time. They wouldn’t let us in and refused to let us use our tickets the next day. Terrible experience. Don’t buy tickets in advance unless you’re 100% sure you can make it and be there 2 hours before closing.

Very nice trip

By Peters P |

Very nice guided tour with some interesting stories. Many tastes from all over the world can be tasted.

Worth a Visit!!

By A.Will00 |

World of Coca-Cola was such an amazing & fun visit. WOCC was so much better than anticipated, from the entrance following the show, to the tasting room, to the large selections of souvenirs and merchandise in the gift shop. Should be a "must-see" when visiting Atlanta!!

By naa a |

Had high expectations for this tour but was not too exciting. The tasting room was not opened the day I went so we were unable to sample the different types of coke.

Do not buy tickets beforehand

By Robyn U |

Absolutely don’t do this unless is in the middle of the week and no line. We paid for tickets before hand like everyone mentioned. Got to the area and couldn’t find parking, then finally find a spot. Got everyone out to see a line that was Extremely LONG. We would not have made it in time. Pay beforehand does nothing. Pay when you are there to judge if you’ll have time, I lost out on a lot of money. So disappointed because I had been looking forward to this.

By RacquelMS |

Small history, small movie, then you are released to explore the 3 rooms and the “brew lab” then shuffle over to the store which was likely the main reason you went there in the first place, right?

First visit to Atlanta

By Trail763818 |

This was our first visit to Atlanta. We were spending a few days. The museum was a neat treat. The history was interesting. Lots of ways to explore on own. Fun interactive games. Tasting room was a favorite. Gift shop was amazing.

For pop lovers

By Blake |

Had no expectations for this but ended up having a great time. I think that the entry fee is worth the experience. It’s not a big museum, it has few exhibits but this is all made up for in the tasting room. At the end of the tour you will have a chance to taste test every single product that Coke currently distributes and has distributed. This is great for soda lovers and kids.

By Southton |

This is my third time visiting the World of Coca Cola with my last being several years ago. They do a great job keeping exhibits and interactive experiences updated. The Coke product sampling now includes over 100 varieties from around the world. There are also dispensers that let you concoct your own drink based on your taste preferences. There is also an AI photo gallery that shows what you look like as various characters in the turn of the century. It was hugely popular. The lab experience lets you try a future formula release and the ill fated New Coke in case you forgot how it tasted when it debuted and failed-, … good on Coke for having a sense of humor. They even have the polar bear there and you can take a professional photo or your own selfie.

It’s okay!

By Myranda T |

I really enjoyed seeing the nostalgia with the history of Coke’s advertising and products. But I was disappointed in the lack of flow or instructions for exhibits. It was hard to taste things or smell things with some of the interactive parts because patrons are rude, inconsiderate and there’s not a lot of organization with it.

By Per H |

As a start before the short movie we encountered a totally worthless speech about the Coca Cola signs. We hardly understood one single word of what was said. Must be possible to find someone that speaks English. The short movie was boring and not worth the time.
We took us the time and tried to get the best out of it, but it was a vast of time and money.

Regular Outlook

By Javiera Baeza S |

I had high expectations of the place, I honestly expected much more. To take photos with the bear there are schedules, they allow you to use your cell phone only with selfie mode and they take a photo of you, which they sell at the end of the tour. The most entertaining room is the tasting room, you have access to all the drinks/soft drinks in the world and you can try them all. When you leave there you go to a large souvenir shop, where you will find many things about Coca Cola and its associated brands.

**I recommend NOT visiting during the weekend, because the place is very busy and there will be many lines.

Save your time and money and don’t visit

By Lori N |

Save your time and money and do not visit world of Coke. We got there at 4:35 PM and it closed at 6:00 PM. The movie introduction at the beginning of the museum was closed. We went upstairs to the brand new exhibit and they said it was closed early for the day. We paid $25 each to do a short walk-through of the history of Cole and sampled different Coke flavors. The area that has the Coke samples had an extremely sticky floor. The Coke store, which was free to enter was the best part. When we complained the movie and new exhibit was closed and they should have told us that when we bought our tickets, they said they would give us free tickets to come back the next day. We only were in Atlanta for one day so that didn’t help us.

By uniquegirl |

There were some very interesting exhibits and we enjoyed reading about the history of Coke but what we had been looking forward to was the tasting of Coke from all the different countries and that was utter chaos. There were so many people running in and out of the different stations, no order, just a big mess. The soda stations and the floor were sticky messes. But we did learn that American soda is the best and do not try the Beverly!🤢I would recommend this for people with children. They will love the soda tastings.

Culture, History, Entertainment and Photos!

By Trip Volunteer |

Wonderful place.
Lots of information, history and culture.
Funny because of the worldwide variety of coca consumption, the rumors of the formula, the differences in the advertisements according to the time and the country the possibility to taste different soft drinks and branded beverages. You can also feel the different tastes and aromas.
Unfortunately the lab was in retirement.
The official store is a paradise and does not actually need to pay the ticket to enter the souvenir store.
A tour of 2h/3h. I found it expensive because the lab wasn't working.
Anyway, you're gonna take good pictures. Both inside and outside, already in the square.

Save your money!!!!

By SingaporeGringo |

Save your money. Some Interesting things but certainly not worth the $25 admission. The entire thing is about making money. From the overpriced entry, to hocking $30 photo to pushing you out through you guessed it, overpriced coke souvenir shop. Save your money and visit the aquarium or have a nice meal!

If Wish's were fishes.

By My Info R |

Fun facts!
Wish I could have bought what I tasted and liked as well as Japanese Georgia coffee products. Gift shop amazing.

By amanda673 |

We decided to check out the World of Coca Cola over the holidays. We figured it might be crowded, but decided to give it a shot.
While things started out okay — a brief welcome led by a person, then an intro from another employee and a brief film to set the tone.
From there, it got chaotic. We started in the Lab with a taste of New Coke and a weird cotton candy tasting sample. Then got in line to create our own soda we could sample later in the visit. This took awhile because 2 of the 3 touchscreens weren’t working. While it seemed a little corny in the end — creating a soda is tapping a few buttons to learn your code is like “Spicy 2” or “Fruity 4.”
The museum and vault had some historical context but it was difficult to get a lot of context with the crowds. A guided tour like the first two segments would have gone a long way.
Finally we entered the tasting room, a lawless, chaotic room with a number of tasting kiosks, each with several sides of fountain spigots. Without instruction, some people hovered closely sampling each one at leisure, blocking others. Some took a squirt and stepped back. Some held a cup with their hand over the nozzle itself. We saw someone try one they didn’t like and spit-take sprayed back on the nozzles. Our tasting ended here.
Meanwhile, it turns out the Lab creations were broken, so you could not taste anything “created” in the Lab. And the AI solution suggested, to scan the QR code and make one by phone? I got an oops we’re out of ingredients error.

All told, this was disjointed, disorganized disappointment. I’d expected something more magical from Coke and instead it felt very commercial and a money grab.

Fun experience at a great price!

By Jennifer E |

We had visited in September this was our 4th or 5th time. Each time we go there is always something new to see along with your classic favorites! A fun experience for anyone with a great admission price! We loved the seeing the classic coke items throughout the years and of course taste it!

waste of money

By AlbertCav |

Unless you are a Coke memorabilia collector, I do not know why anyone would go here. The thing was a giant ad for Coke (not surprising) and they don't even try to hide from you. You are forced to sit through a film (ad), and then to a short talk about the brand history (ads thrown in) with really dusty (needs occasional cleaning, folks!) memorabilia before they let you loose in the features. Had a short 3d "movie" (ad). Seems like most people were there for the room with all the soda flavor dispensers, but was extremely crowded with tweens/teens hanging out in front of the self serve machines making difficult to approach. Dispenser areas should have some crowd control, maybe let x amount in at one time.

At over $20pp in 2024, I would really skip this unless you want to hear over and over how much Coke makes life grand.

By caseman1969 |

Good rainy day trip. A little pricey , but customer service was very good. You can't drink that much free coke products without a belly ache!

Unsanitary, Waste of Money

By John S |

I would it recommend this attraction to anyone. The tasting room was disgusting, you would be better off going to a convenience store or using a Coke freestyle machine at a Five Guys. The floor in the tasting room was sticky. My family (wife and 3 kids aged 13, 10 and 9) and I were all looking forward to this attraction and we were all very disappointed.

Fun VIP experience at World of Coke!!

By nicole b |

I absolutely LOVED the guided tour experience. So many fun facts and we were moved to the front for all photo ops! Highly recommend!!!

Poor Management at the Photo Processing Counter

By JBrownII |

The tour and tastings were good. However, the attitude of the staff was horrible. There was one manager, who wears braces, that was near the photo purchasing desk. He was so rude that I almost whipped him. This little guy was boasting about being a manager but wouldn’t open the register to check us out and keep the line moving. He actually came around the desk and started talking about how he gets paid to delegate. If it had not been for the fact that my son and wife were with me, he would’ve gotten an instant attitude adjustment. Thankfully, the cashier was courteous enough that we still purchased the pictures. We will not be going back. We will also advise our friends and family to avoid this place. There are many other places to visit in Atlanta.

Now we've been there

By HeleneA636 |

Feels like a must to go here if you are in Atlanta, but not much more. It gets a bit crowded, luckily we got there when they opened so it was still quite calm. You get to see a lot about the history of Coca-Cola and taste different varieties from different parts of the world.

By Thomas Z |

Unique exhibition with great explanations by the guides. A very clear recommendation. Great exhibits , large shop and of course the tasting stations with products from all over the world.

FASCINATING ATTRACTION NOT TO BE MISSED

By PeterandLindaD |

This is a must to see for any visitor to Atlanta. Yes, we all are familiar with Coke, but discovering the history and the road it took from the creation of the formula, from its humble beginnings in Atlanta to todays beverage giant present and recognizable anywhere in the world is simply fascinating. You don't need to be a Coke fan to thoroughly enjoy this attraction! There is a free sampling of Coca-Cola products at the end, an incredible number of samples from dozens of countries around the world. This is a fascinating attraction not to be missed!

Don’t waste your time or money

By Serviceprof |

Overrated! Had to wait in line over 20 minutes in order to view still shots of Coke artifacts. Then dumped into another theater to view 6 minute video of people enjoying Coke. Door then opens into large room with multiple fountains where you can taste Coke products from around the globe. Largest room in this exhibit is retail room where you a select from over 1000 overpriced trinkets and clothing.

Meh! Not worth the money

By Tracey M |

Get there early because it gets overcrowded, and it becomes a challenge to go through any of the areas inside. The scent room was fun, and the tasting room was interesting. The movie and the lab were not interesting at all. The tasting room was fun but was so crowded that it was a challenge to get to any of the soda fountains and your shoes will stick to the floor from the spilled soda. It was overpriced and not worth the time or money in our opinion.

Too much publicity, too young target audience.

By Eric |

The Attraction has over-targeted young audiences and over-emphasized advertising (when admission is $24 per person). The mystery around the formula and the story of the creation of Coke deserved more importance. Being able to taste all the drinks in the world was nice.

Maybe a factory tour is better than here.

By Navigator12659656252 |

I wasn't impressed for the price. The tasting is like an attraction at Epcot Center. The kiosk was interesting because there were various GOODS.

Tourist trap for Coke fanatics

By JohnnyK3871 |

My wife and I had some time to kill before another event. We decided to visit. If you are a Coke fanatic, you’ll probably love this attraction. If you aren’t, you probably won’t be all that impressed. Cool historical things and kind of fun to taste different variations, but I wasn’t overly impressed.

Interesting tour with lots of details

By Christian Schäfer |

Interesting VIP tour where you learn a lot of details.
I found it a bit confusing that the VIP tour includes a photo shoot with the white bear mascot, but the photo costs money afterwards... That was not clear from the description

Good times !!!!

By Review E |

I always loved to go to the Coca Cola factory. It’s great for kids and a having experience. Some days if your lucky you will find events and special deals that you and your family will always remember this day.

By Tamieko B |

This was a very tasty educational experience. Who would’ve known Coke had 40 or more flavors and is water included in the flavors? Wow! This was an amazing experience. The experience is definitely worth cost. The store is amazing! So many options and so many deals. I highly recommend paying a little extra to skip the line. Go ahead.. live a little.. enjoy the coke experience with a smile.

By DoodyDestination |

I recently visited and was delighted by how beautifully the place was decorated for the holidays – everything looked festive and welcoming! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for the season. However, I do have a mint allergy, and I was disappointed that they don’t list all ingredients in their products. It made things a little tricky to navigate. Despite this, I would still highly recommend this spot to others! The overall experience was fantastic, and the decorations truly made it special.

The Bubbly World of Coca-Cola

By Victor W |

It has been a number of years since I visited the World of Coca-Cola but my wife has never been. Though it was a Saturday the lines were not that long. The venue gives an excellent history of the creation of Coca-Cola. A lot of exhibits with actual memorabilia. There are interactive exhibits as well. There is a very short 3-D movie which is shown every 30 minutes. To end the tour you are able to taste various Coke brands from around the world. Some are very good and some are just awful like Beverly. It was fun to watch the faces of those tasty the really nasty tasting brands. In the area there are a number of other attractions to take in like the Aquarium, Civil Rights Museum, Centennial Park and CNN Center. We enjoyed our visit to the World of Coca-Cola very much. And my wife was happy we took time to visit.

Vocal cola museum was disappointing.

By Karen M |

I thought the Coca Cola museum was only fair. I think they need to regroup and redo this museum maybe have different rooms for each decade with all the signs and ads and equipment and products for that decade. For many of the pictures and explanations you could only read them as you were walking to them once at them the writing disappeared. Very frustrating especially with crowds. Most of the time was spent listening to a speaker or watching a movie. The “smelling” area needs to be redone couldn’t smell much of anything.

Sensory overload

By Curious Cat |

Fun amd informative. Enjoyed identifying the smells. Gets crowded because they herd you all together for an introduction and video. Serious sensory overload. I think kids will enjoy it. But kids with ADHD will be a challenge and any who are sound or light sensitive.Difficult if you have an allergy because there are no ingredients lists in the tasting room.

We went crazy in the store

By Héctor Maida |

This is the second visit I have made, a place for lovers of marketing and coca cola of course, a visit that touches my lady and my heart, for the messages that reminded us of our family. A very nice and careful place when entering the store because one wants to buy everything.

Better than expected

By Alexander S |

Surprisingly interesting. Learned about colas, the history and marketing of coke, etc. Good interactive exhibits for kids and big kids. The drink we put together looked good on paper, but tasted horrible.

The cherry on top was trying all the different brands by country, and our on concoction.

Just OK unless you love Coke

By dg144 |

Not terribly exciting. Maybe if someone is a Coca-Cola fan it would be different. The section that is set up like an old town is kind of interesting where screens transpose your image on vignettes like a vintage pharmacy, bank etc. Lots of Coke stuff in the gift shop, most available for much less on Amazon.

Would have been five stars…..

By HarpreetsWanderlust |

Our visit would have received five stars had we not experienced the shocking behavior of being abandoned mid-tour by our host.

The tour started well enough, with a little behind the scenes info and a free drink, and though parts of it felt a little rushed, the host was pretty good until we got to the Vault. Here, while we were still taking photos, the host abandoned my husband and myself.

She, along with the other two people on the tour, left the Vault without so much as indicating to my husband and I that it was time to move on.

We had only been in the Vault area for a few minutes and were taking pictures, when we noticed that she and the other two guests had left and so we rushed behind them, expecting at least the host to be waiting outside the vault for us - I would expect this even out of courtesy given that she didn’t even so much as say come on guys, it’s time to move on!

To our shock, she was not waiting for us and she had moved on and we had to go into various spaces to look for her in order to continue our tour - we even spoke to another host who also tried to communicate with her to no avail. It took us more than 5 minutes and rushing through various spaces asking if our host with the other two guests had come through but we had no luck.

We finally tracked her down at the polar bear photo spot - and - once we got to her - she feigned no interest that we had found her and despite me telling her that she just left us in the Vault without saying it’s time to go, there was not so much as a word of apology from her for abandoning us but rather an attitude of - if you can’t keep up that’s not my problem.

To say that this kind of behavior is rude is an understatement- we paid for this guided tour and the least we expected is some courtesy from the host. A little heads up would have gone a long way.

Having visited over 80 countries, this guided tour was not our first rodeo - we do know that you have to keep up with the group however - this host did not even so much as beckon to us that time was up in the vault - she simply chose to move on with the other 2 people in the group, pretty much abandoning us.

For a world class organization like The Coca-Cola Company, I expected a lot better and more courtesy from their hosts who should be used to dealing with diverse groups of people. It would be understandable if we had been part of a large group - but there were only 4 of us. Myself, my husband, and another 2 guests- so our absence was very, very noticeable.

The Good: would be a free drink, the VIP photo opportunity with the Polar Bear and a free tasting cup in the tasting room, as well as some interesting factoids about the drinks in the tasting lab and the recipe in the Vault. Perhaps the only things that gave this experience a 3 star rating.

The Bad: the host we ended up with. Her behavior really left a sour taste and it is my sincere hope that she never treats another guest in that manner, because the experience is worthy of five stars which led us to leaving feeling disappointed and short changed.

Not worth the cost unless you love Coke stuff

By jandbwest |

The 6 minute video at the beginning of the visit is by far the best part of the experience. There are 3 activities on each of 2 floors. Each of them is pretty quick. The tasting room was interesting but the floor was so sticky we felt we might leave a shoe behind. If you are a big fan of coke and coke memorabilia, it’s probably interesting. Otherwise, I was not impressed based on the cost.

I expected more!

By Jaquelin |

The guides only spoke in English, nor did they make an effort to make themselves understood, I didn't learn anything about Coca Cola that I didn't already know. (I clarify that I understand the English language quite a bit)
I would not go back

By CharlieV2011 |

I visited during the middle of a weekday and had a good time. I purchased the tickets ahead of time, which allowed me to avoid the ticket line. The attraction was very busy and that made it difficult at times to enjoy some of the attractions. When you first enter, you are ushered into a theater, and I was hoping to see advertisements from years past, but instead we got to see a video of people doing random, uninteresting things. I did like to see various Coke products around the world and I did have a great time sampling Coke products from around the world, but the crowds made for lines while tasting the products. The gift shop at the end was nice and had the souvenirs I wanted.

Worse experience more a commercial

By Alie B |

I don't call this an experience but a big advertising hall. Movie is summarized advertising videos. The picture that is taken you have to pay 30 dollars for it. Too bad we put time in that, would have preferred to go to a neighbor over the aquarium afterwards.

Fun cheap experience

By Christopher C |

Been here multiple times. It's such a fun museum at a good price and the beverage room is not to miss. It is one grand advertisement for Coke but still a cool look into the company's history.

Fun and interactive museum

By Lisa H |

Neat museum and experience. Plan ahead and purchase your tickets online to avoid the long cues. Fun history of coca-cola and SAMPLES! very tasty! Took about 2 hours at most to see everything.

It was ok.

By CaylaElise |

This was not our family’s favorite experience. We waited in line for about 40 minutes before making it into the building where we waited for about 5 minutes to enter another waiting room before watching a Coke commercial, then finally entering the museum-esque area. The Vault area was interesting but crowded and designed in a way that made it difficult to read the information on the walls. We enjoyed the scent experience area and my husband liked the tasting room. (But holy moly our shoes were so sticky that I’m certain if we would have worn slip-ons they would have come right off!) Overall it was an underwhelming experience.

By 702jilly |

We were charged $25 to park. We then paid. $26 each to enjoy the Coca-Cola experience. I did not learn anything new about Coca-Cola. I could have learned more by reading the wiki page. The interactive displays were disappointing. It was basically a marketing tool. So I paid $77 to have Coke advertise to me.

NO REFUNDS under any circumstances

By Heather E |

I accidentally placed my order for 6 tickets at 8:30am for today’s date. The office opens at 9 and I spoke to a representative at 9:01 to try to switch to Saturday. I am 2.5 hours away so I couldn’t even make it in time if I tried.

I was told by a representative ANd then the manager that the tickets are nonrefundable nontransferable. I just lost $124 and my son just lost his 12th birthday gift for a simple mistake.

Shockingly fun.

By Haynesbball |

Been to Atlanta many x but never did the coke museum. We loved it. Kids were sugared up after trying over 200 coke products around the world. Very interactive and lots to do.

By gburg66 |

Lots of nostalgia-type exhibits such as old ads, premiums and signs. The history of Coke was very interesting, although I thought the story of the secret formula was overdone. Large gift shop.

Taste world pop but don’t throw out your cup

By CW |

It starts with a heart warming video and guided tour through a few exhibits. You will be pleasantly transported to the past with all the world Coca Cola memorabilia. I had purchased the city tour so this was one of 3 that I visited. You probably only need 2 hours tops. The tasting room was my favorite and I knew to keep my glass but didn’t realize there was an additional tasting room tucked in the back with the current pop machines found in some theaters. I had tossed my cup when I saw that but enjoyed the other world beverages which were more unique.

Not a must see in ATL

By Amber W |

Found it to be very underwhelming only neat part was when you get to go taste the sodas from around the world however it was so crowded that we only were in there for 20 min and left

World of Coca Cola

By Armand A |

The museum was very interesting. The exhibits were really good, and there were a few videos that we really enjoyed. It only took about 2 1/2 hours to see everything and we really took our time. For what it is, the cost seems a bit high.

Amazing tour of the vault and the World of Coca Cola

By lilmuc93 |

Robin our tour guide was absolutely amazing!! She gave us the VIP tour everywhere we went in the facility and made us feel so special. She was so knowledgeable and made the experience absolutely incredible! Highly recommend!

Memorabilia

By jehenson81 |

With only about an hour to kill before I had to go to a work thing, I opted to go to the World of Coca Cola over the Aquarium, based on the sizes of each and the price. I bought a ticket at the entrance and was ushered inside, though I wish they had a line to bypass the stupid photo op at the entrance. I also could have done without the first fifteen minutes where you are forced to listen to a spiel in the first room and to watch a pointless propaganda film after it. The secret vault was also a bore, but the other exhibits were cool, especially the one full of memorabilia and the tasting room where you can try Coke products from all over the world (they had Mezzo Mix, my fav). The scent area was interesting and Dayin and Brianna were very nice and helpful. The gift shop is quite the experience too, with every imaginable Coke souvenir and some I never would have thought of. Worth an hour and the price is reasonable.

A must have to see on Atlanta

By Ismael V |

It was a rainy day and the line outside was not under cover. Anyway, the experience, even without a tour guide was very nice.

Prepare to spend $$

By Lindsay |

This ended up being more $ than I expected.
First the entrance fee (extra if you want souvenir cup) parking ($25, not the $20 listed on the website) ~ $30 for souvenir picture my daughter begged me to buy, plus anything you buy in the gift shop (and they have some really cool things in there) it’s about impossible to not at least get a postcard or magnet.
Glad we stopped. Website said takes about 2 hours. It took us 90 minutes.

Drink it the history!

By David B |

I found this attraction really interesting. Everybody thinks they know the history but it’s only once you walk through the exhibits do you get a sense of the evolution of the drink and the brand over the years.

Meh

By Climber28315455494 |

Crowded - employees were very nice, but seemed to rush you through. Too many people in the tasting room to enjoy the experience.

A place where you can see the history and present of Coca-Cola

By Perception0 |

There are many good things to see. I recommend this to fans of the Coca-Cola Company. In particular, there is a place where you can drink carbonated drinks on the second floor, which was very interesting.
It's one of the most visited places in Atlanta's downtown location, along with the aquarium right next door.

Family outing.

By Hungria D |

The Coca-Cola factory was ok.. good experience , wouldn’t go it again..polar bear wasn’t around, but overall nice experience!!!

Nice Little Museum/Drinks

By themanofec |

We had a good time with the visit to the World of Coca-Cola. The beginning with waiting on the first show/watching ad video was a little awkward but once you get into the exhibits they are all neat to see and read. There were main rooms/themes on each floor and the smell one in particular was fun. The main part was trying the different flavors from around the world which was the best part of the experience. It was neat doing the flavor builder on the first floor and then trying its recommendation on the second.

Fun few hours in Atlanta

By Razzle D |

The taste testing experience is the highlight, but the history and general vibes was fun. Nice scenery around the building also. Good fun! Was not a large size group either.

Overpriced, made far worse by conditions and customer service!!

By SapphireNorthYorks |

I have just left this massive advertisement/money spinner for Coca - Cola and my advice is “don’t waste your money”
1. car park is flat daily fee of 20$ - Waze stated half day fee of 10$ which was bad enough in itself (but now they have decided that was not enough profit) but as only going in at 3.30pm this was extortion at its greatest!! $10 an hour on top of already overpriced tickets!
2. The air conditioning was not working properly but we were not told until stood waiting for 10 minutes + in ‘the loft’ and then only as an aside! This fact should have been made clear prior to entry and the option to refund tickets! The situation made far worse by continuing to squeeze people in!
3. The experiences based on taste and smell were unhygienic and frankly a recipe for infection- no covid lessons had clearly been learnt?
4. The toilets were dirty and bins etc overflowing. No hand towel (empty) or dryers.
5. The ‘experiences’ were uninspiring either loads of advertising/free samples or a photo with the polar bear who only appeared occasionally!
6. The staff were unhelpful and in the case of the polar bear assistant frankly rude. Most I saw were stood around chatting in groups or tasting the samples!

The issue of the oppressive conditions due to problems with the air conditioning was unacceptable and as a result made us feel quite poorly but even without this $80 for three people was not money well spent.

Great!!

By Kurt A F |

Great staff and guide. Learned the great history of the coca cola brands and also seeing all the advertising signs and stuff was pretty cool.

By Howard Spake |

So worth it .. awesome experience.. great hosts and got extra goodies too.. got to skip the lines and had a personal guide tell Us about everything.. highly recommend the tour

We wandered around on our own

By Becky M |

That’s an OK venue, but not worth the money.
When you enter you watch a video and a lady talks to you about some things but then you are just left on your own to wander. you just wander around on your own there was really no tour.

Great place to visit

By Traveler |

Great place to relax and visit. Neat exhibits and great opportunities for tasting Coke products. Three exhibits on each of two floors. Colorful, informative and interactive. I stayed downtown and walked to the museum.

A Worthwhile Tour

By Shouganai_22 |

Turned out to be a really fun tour. The history of Coca-Cola and Atlanta was fascinating. The facility was very modern and the displays were self explanatory. Having a tour guide saved us a lot of wandering around and drew attention to the significant historical facts that we for sure would have missed. When we had our picture taken with the Polar Bear the guide took duplicate pictures so we didn’t need to select them later on. The international tasting area allowed us to taste Coca-Cola products from around the world.

Discovery

By V-lerie V |

This museum is a life-size advertisement for Coca Cola. The films are purely commercial. The history is interesting and the old designs and derivative products are a discovery to be made.
Testing the different drinks is very fun, we had a lot of fun even if the results were sometimes disastrous in the mixtures.
The odor gardens are very nice too.

By fourbeesplus3 |

Waste of time and money! The web site does not tell you all the details that you need to know:
- they do not have dedicated parking. You have to use Hilton or Hyatt’s parking. Apparently early in the day it is $20 and sometime after noon it is $30
-tickets could only be purchased on line. If you had not done that, which the web site doesn’t make clear that it must be done, then you scan a QR code to purchase them. Even that site was not easy to negotiate.
- they do not allow for or encourage social distancing. They want everyone to crowd together. Didn’t appreciate that.
- signage was not clear on how to negotiate the building. It is not clear hat the only exit our is at the back of the Tasting Room.
- the Tasting Room does not have any Coke that is made for other countries.. it has all non cola flavors. There is not an organized way to do it besides push and shove your way to each station along sticky flops
-restrooms are not easy to find or some are not easy to get to due to lines for an attraction.

So if you thought you would be tasting the Coca Cola that is made in and for other countries you will not be able to.

By Didier D |

Visit retracing the history of Coca Cola while revealing the recipe for the famous Coca 😛

Otherwise there is no point in avoiding anything other than being able to taste different sodas from the Coca Cola company around the world at the end.

Nice Tour

By jdguzman2023 |

I enjoyed learning about the history of the company & how the product became to be what we all been enjoying since its creation

Good Activity if Bringing Kids or for Coke Lovers

By craig1086 |

A good rainy day activity that won't take too long, especially if you love Coke. Staff was nice to deal with such repetitiveness. Make sure to hit the Vault of the secret recipe, as well as Beverage Lab to create a combination. Then go to the tasting room, to taste Coke products from all over the world. You'll go to the gift shop before you exit.

Coca- Cola Museum

By Michelle C |

The visit to the Coca-Cola museum was an unforgettable adventure. Both the history and the sampling of more than one hundred different flavors were fantastic.

By PeiT231 |

It's a great place to learn about the history of coke cola. You also get to try different flavors of the coke and many other formulas that might be released in the future.

Fun for all

By LadyYaya555 |

More fun than expected. Great to learn the history and sample the world flavors. Interesting exhibits and short movies.

Nice but Coca-Cola should level-up the experience!

By Maritza López de Haza |

I am a Coca-Cola true fan and visiting the Coca-Cola World was in my bucket list! I found the museum very nice and enjoyed the history, timeline, and Coke memorabilia but I believe there's room for improvement in terms of enhancing the overall experience with technology, AI and more modern resources. Coca-Cola is a brand with such a strong equity that it should level up this kind of experience.

Worth a Visit

By cherylpd1 |

A tour of World of Coke is a great way to spend a couple of hours while in Atlanta, and certainly, something for everyone. While I am no longer a soda drinker, it was still fascinating to stop at the many interactive exhibits as well as to learn about its history. I enjoyed the new I think, "cobblestone street" full of entertaining info. Once finished, everyone got to taste as much or as little of round the world coke flavors and other company products as they pleased. Also a fascinating shop at the end, with some really cool souvenirs, although everything has the company name, well obviously I guess, so I didn't purchase anything. We visited on a weekday morning, so the place was full of school groups. Totally understandable, but a large crowd of others, and I thought for sure it wouldn't be so crowded with the timed tickets. It was still a pleasant experience.

Yawn

By Laura M |

I went in with low expectations and they were met. Lacks any substance aside from the scent area which was fun and the tasting room. But not worth it. Memorabilia is only interesting for so long, it doesn’t make an entire museum. It’s like someone had an idea, built a building and then thought “oh no, what do we actually put in here?” The kids like the free soda. There are so many more interesting things they could do that they just don’t. You could discuss chemistry, explore how the color of the soda affects your perception of taste, show how the inside of a soda machine works, whatever. Instead there is just lots of silly gimmicks. Unless you have a citypass, I would skip.

OK but smaller than expected

By Sc0ttRxxx |

It was OK but not fantastic, for the age and heritage of coca cola I thought there may be more exhibits and history of the company.
The best part was the taste room were you can try over 100 different drinks made by coca cola throughout the world. (there's some interesting flavours)
If your only interested in the gift shop you can enter this free of charge without needing to do the museum part. But as expected it's not the cheapest of gifts shops.

Rude And unprofessional

By Joanne |

Do not go this place unless you want to waste money on unseen advertisement. The employee are very rude and impolite. This place forced you to watch ads and the all the staffs acting crazy. They will pushing you and loudly talking to you. I will not recommend you come here

By Grace Fu |

This museum is very interesting, showing how does the Coca-Cola was created and how it was developed in the history and now.

Interesting but expensive

By Kelly C |

We visited after seeing it on TripAdvisor and being from the UK had little idea of the history of coca-cola. We found it interesting and loved seeing all the different drinks and tasting them. It wasn't busy when we visited which probably made the experience better for us.

We enjoyed ourselves but did feel it was expensive when you factor in the $20 for parking (which would have been more reasonable if we'd had time to do the aquarium too).

Overall we enjoyed it but it would be expensive to take the whole family.

By Luis P |

Excellent place to know history of CocaCola company, you take about 2 hours to tour includes tasting various flavors

The Best Museum in Atlanta

By Mark T |

World Coca-Cola is the best museum in Atlanta. The entrance fee was cheaper than the aquarium, though the Coca-Cola museum was smaller than the aquarium.

I was so thirsty. But I had to listen to a presentation by the museum staff. His spin was interesting. I thought I could drink a lot of coke. But I had to watch one more short film. It was okay. Then the museum staff opened the door. I could go to the exhibitions.

I was looking for "Taste it. Try our Coca-Cola Beverages". I found the exhibition on the second floor. I got all kinds of drinks around the world!

The other exhibits were very informative. I learned history. I was supposed to learn the formula of Coke. Of course, the formula was the top secret of Coca-Cola. It was located in the Vault.

Overall, I enjoyed the world of Coca-Cola. If you have to choose one museum in the area, I recommend here!

Not enough to do…

By kimmysue42 |

We went to the museum since we’ve grown up on Coca-Cola products all of our lives. First you walk thru a museum and see lots of old logos, machines, memorabilia, etc. they show the group a video which was a bit odd and had us do a ‘Find Waldo’ type search as a group. This room needs a good dusting as all of the large items above us were really dirty- pretty gross actually. Once you walk thru the museum you can go off to different rooms. The problem with this is 3 out of 4 of these rooms are set to a specific entrance time since it’s either a movie, a show or a video to watch. All with long lines. We skipped them all because of the waits- very annoying. The only part I enjoyed of this tour was the beverage sampling. You get to sample drinks from all over the world. Some were very unique tasting.
Overall not the greatest time. It needs some tweaking to make it a more enjoyable experience.

Rushed - Do the self-guided tour instead

By Sergio M |

My tour guide did her best. But I felt rather rushed. There was plenty of rooms where it was stated "go there after you finish this tour." We basically did the same thing anyone with self-guided admission will do. I stress to do that instead, nothing VIP about this.

Taste beverages from around the world

By Andrew N |

A lot of interesting history and memorabilia. The tasting area where you taste beverages from around the world was the best part. We were there around Christmas time and it was beautifully decorated.

By Jenny C |

We had a super fun time exploring the history of Coca-cola! Our tour guide was helpful and fun! Best part was trying all the different types of sodas around the world!

By zetaspeechlady |

We had a great time visiting the World of Coca Cola. Military personnel and veterans get in free. The price isn’t bad for children and adults, especially since it’s an air conditioned facility. The movie was fun to watch. We enjoyed the guess the smell game and looking at the different displays. The best part of it all was the taste room where we got a chance to sample coke products from around the country. Some of them made our tastebuds go into shock mode so the reactions were hilarious! The souvenir shop had a large selection of items at reasonable prices. We definitely recommend this attraction.

By amy w |

This was fun and interesting to see the things that go into making coke. I didn’t realize how many types of brands they own. Interactive stuff was fun for drinks and smells

Cool because it’s Coca Cola

By Daniele Pimentel |

They have everything that you can imagine if you would like to know cokes history. Going to Atlanta, this place is a must since coca was created there. But I don’t think you would want to go twice since the best part is the tasting and it is still not worth everything else in there.

Got to taste the "Fizz"

By alpha t |

When i got there i was mugged and got put into a gauntlet then tested by some man, killed him with a water gun and helped some people who called themselves "Raiders". Helped a few of them out, 6/10 tasted the cola. [Why is the place rundown]

NOT WORTH IT AT ALL

By ezodeiko |

Hello,
This is one big advertisement for Coca-cola with a giftshop at the end, with little substance, educational information, or real information.

If you'd like to pay money to sample different flavors of Coke, see some old Coke plaques, and watch a six-minute (no exaggeration) commercial for Coke, then go ahead.

If you want to learn anything, watch the History Channel's show, "The Foods that Built America", season 1, episode 1.

I would not recommend this, even if you have the time.

world of coca cola tour

By Aaliyah t |

super interactive and fun, over 100 different soda's, learned new facts, amazing views and also enthusiastic tour guide

Don't waste your time!

By Kevie |

What a waste of time. Just a coke advertisement that you pay to watch. The "tastings" of all the Coke products at the end are just kiosks of fountain drinks with people crowded around them.
Imagine the arrogance of putting something like this together and believing that there's some kind of value to the public

Enjoyable visit!

By mistymadisonjo |

Very interesting and fun tour. The tasting room was neat, but really hated the sticky floors. Great family place to visit. Teens liked it.

Horrible Experience with Staff: ADA Concerns

By Amy S |

I am deeply disappointed by my experience at World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta on January 1, 2025. My family and I traveled from another state with high hopes of enjoying the attraction, only to be met with hostility and disrespect from an employee.

During a movie presentation, my service dog, who was sitting quietly and still, was wrongly accused of barking. A tall male employee approached us aggressively, threatening to remove us if my dog barked again. I attempted to explain that the barking came from another dog across the room, but the employee interrupted me repeatedly, stating, “Ma’am, I am not talking to you.” His tone and demeanor were hostile, and at one point, he physically pushed my shoulder to silence me, leaving me shaken and in tears.

Another employee confirmed that the barking came from another dog, yet the aggressive behavior continued. When I spoke with two managers to report the situation, they apologized and refunded our tickets but then told us it would “probably be better” if we left, given how uncomfortable I was. We were then escorted out the back way, despite having done nothing wrong. This ruined our trip, which included the cost of hotel stays and parking.

As a service dog handler, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, not targeted and berated. The lack of proper training in ADA compliance and customer service is unacceptable for a venue of this stature.

I hope World of Coca-Cola takes immediate action to train its staff and ensure no one else endures this kind of mistreatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this attraction.

Great Tastes Great Customer Service

By Dwight O |

The 90 minute to 2 hour tour was amazing. We enjoyed the history and the flavors. We had great customer service from manager Dashawn. We enjoyed designing our own flavors. The location around the other tourist attractions was great we were able to get into multiple attractions. Overall it was a great value,

Experiencing Coke the drink not the drug....

By Bob J |

If anyone has seen my other reviews. I travel to Atlanta for DrogonCon every Labor Day Weekend. This year was no different. I decided I was going to do the World of Coca-Cola. I had done it before, along time ago. It was probably 12 or 13 years ago. I had forgotten something. Which I wanted to revisit.

Online reservation looked pretty easy for the most part. I didn't use it. You had to pick a time. I didn't have one. My plan was to get a ticket for the Wednesday before the Con. The day I travel in. I didn't know what time other than the afternoon. I figured I could order a ticket. Then show up anytime during that day. So I waited until I arrived. Got checked into the hotel. Got into my room. Once that was finished. I left the hotel and walked down. Maybe 10 minutes away if that. When I arrived luckily there was no line. I was able to buy my ticket very easily.

Entering is also easy. The person scanned my pass. I walked right in. While walking, Coke has an area to take your photo(this will come up again). Once all the way inside. You are directed into a 'staging area'. Which is a 2 or 3 level(don't remember) room. It's filled with everything pertaining to Coke. It also has things hanging from the ceiling. I will post a few photos. Once the room is 'full'. You enter a small movie theater. You see a short movie about Coke and the world. Get it... The World of Coca-Cola. It's a nice, sometimes moving little movie. It shows how Coke brings people together.

The movie ends, you exit into this 2 story area. There are multiple areas to see on each floor. You have The Vault. It's the first one after the movie. The Vault is really cool. It's like you're walking into a 'vault' where the secret formula is hidden. There's an area you find out about the history of Coke especially in Atlanta. It also talks about other places too. In other areas you find out about the brand, a smelling area, a pick your flavored drink(it's an interactive wall) and of course the tasting area. This, I believe, is most everyone's favorite area. It's where you get to taste multiple Coke products from around the world. Everyone is going to find some flavors they really like. And others they don't. There is 1 area I walked though that I did not mention. There is an area to do photo ops with the Polar Bear. There is also a few exhibits on the walls.

Exit is located right after the tasting area. Of course with every exit. There will be a Gift Shop.... It's like most gift shops. I mentioned at the beginning about 'your' photo. When it was taken. You are given a receipt, a ticket. You can now purchase your photo with any Coca Cola background. I looked but said no, I'm good. I spent about a half hour walking around the store. Nothing really said, buy me. Also I have something from when I went before. Back then I was also given a small filled Coke bottle as a keepsake. I have those. I didn't need anything else.

It's a nice place to visit. Also if you are interested the Aquarium is right next door. To me, it's a little expensive. So, if you're decide to do it. I would recommend getting the CityPass. It gives you Coca-Cola, the Aquarium and a few other attractions including the Zoo. If you plan on doing multiple attractions. It's cheaper in the long run.

After reading other TA reviews we got our tickets online for first thing on a Tuesday morning. We walked across the street from our hotel a bit before it opened and were first in the doors.

We had a teen, an 8yo and a 14mo with us and planned to take our time; we did everything available minus the polar bear photo in about 2.5 hours. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My kids liked the surprise at the end of the 6min video when the whole wall lifted up to reveal the entrance to the rest of the building:)

Once inside the rotunda/main area, the staff outside the vault door said that was the best time to do the vault tour before they got busy so we did. Our boys actually had fun learning about the history, trying to write the logo on a touchscreen, playing the “farthest away” coke bottom game, and then at the end when you supposedly see the actual vault, a lady had our family and one other person step into the middle and closed the doors behind us and the room moved into a 360 theater! It was really neat for our baby who could finally crawl around safely as we watched the “video” all around us.

After the vault we weren’t quite sure the most efficient way to go as it isn’t really marked, and another friendly staff person gave us their recommendations which were spot on. So we walked to the other side of the rotunda (would’ve missed it if she didn’t suggest it) where we used digital screens to mix our own beverage. This isn’t the tasting part, but we each ended up making something different and took pics as suggested so later upstairs we could try our mixes. Weird but cool!

After that we did the scent room, our least favorite actually. It can be overwhelming for sensory-sensitive folks; our 8yo said it made him feel woozy and “off” for a while. Lots of people were there at that time so it was also getting more crowded.

There was a random little room with ads and things we walked through but wasn’t interesting lol, so we kept going to the elevator with our stroller upstairs. I think the tasting room is the only thing upstairs, if there was something else it wasn’t memorable! The floor wasn’t too sticky yet. We did discover that even though we were literally the first ones inside that day, not all the machines were 100% ready to go-
Like the first manzana I went to was pure syrup, and the other side of that same station was pure carbonation! Good grief. Some other reviews said the flavors were not from around the world, that’s not true- they ARE all labeled with their country of origin BUT they do not have COKE from other countries- I think maybe that’s what those reviewers expected? But wouldn’t that mean different recipes, when clearly the whole museum boasts just one secret recipe that they’re known for worldwide? The unique flavors from around the world that Coke sells or makes are beyond the original Coke flavor, that’s what you’re sampling. We were quite happy with the tasting room and enjoyed sharing reactions and opinions with other guests.

The gift shop does not have a penny press machine sadly, but they do sell a couple Coke medallions. Hubs and I collect pins and magnets on all our travels so we got those. The 8yo found a cool fake Coke can you can store secret small things in but was super excited to find it had a collectible polar bear stuffed inside! The teen wanted a glass bottle with a special Atlanta wrapper (he doesn’t want to drink the Coke).

Go early, ask for help often, and plan to take your time and rub elbows with fellow travelers. It was a fun time, just not sure it’s worth the price, hence the 4/5. Oh- we also planned to go back to the hotel to rest and have lunch before heading to the aquarium at 5, highly recommend building in a rest!! (:

Fun and super cool to go visit. Parking sucks and is expensive in the area--no parking near the location. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves so much at the sampling.

A well staged insight into the Coca Cola world, a journey through time in a global company. Entertaining and entertaining

one loud and chaotic advertisement

By Pilar P |

The experience was loud, chaotic, and seemed like 15 second sound bites one after another. The 6 minute movie could have been so many things - a history of coke, the inventor, iconic bottles, or the famous "I'd like to teach" ad.. instead it was a "pretend" hand held camera (translate the screen was shaky and out of focus on purpose) of people drinking coke...with an awful sound track and scenes that were 3-4 seconds long. Frankly I was nauseous from it. Not a good start. Follow that up with people pressing their (100's) of faces on plates hung on poles to "smell" coke...and then you get a cup to to sample different flavors. Really not worth my time. This could have been SO MUCH better! There was so much to work with this iconic brand...but I just felt like I was subjected to a loud and noisy advertisement that I paid for.

An advert disguised as a museum

By helstravels |

We felt we should go here. Atlanta being the home of Coca-Cola. The line for tickets was a bit silly and not sure why they did not have more booths open. It was very full which spoilt it for us. Some folk seemed to stand and stare at empty cans.! Not really that much to see. Expensive photo opportunities. You are given a cup and access to the tasting rooms. Not sure why some people hogged the taps instead of moving back.
A fascinating example of how be a savvy market strategy works. This was keenly apparent in the merch store. Again long queues and it was not cheap.
The whole museum was a very clever market for itself.
Very popular not sure why.

It could be better

By Jorge N |

Museum dedicated to Coca Cola. They explain how the drink was created and its entire history, getting to see the "vault" where the secret formula is kept...nice to hang out and learn about its history but it could be a little more interactive.

Fat experience, clearly worth a visit

By ParisNakitaKejser |

It is a super place that you should see when you are still nearby, the only negative thing to say is that the entry price is maybe to the high end $25+ but when it is said, it is an experience to walk around there inside and look at old coca cola machines and marketing metrale so it is clearly worth a visit despite the high entry price.

Rich History!

By Phatcat29 |

Visited over Christmas period.

Spent about 2 hours at the WOC.

The entire experience was phenomenal. The company has such a great history. We enjoyed visiting each section, the best section was the tasting, there were some great tastes whilst not so great tastes.

Do yourself a favour and do the visit,

A complete waste of time

By Roving32523069871 |

Complete waste of time. This is very expensive ($20) and there is nothing interesting. They show a 10min video which is basically a long advertisement for Coca Cola. The lab is dirty, the floor is sticky will all the drinks spilled on the floor... very disappointed.

Progress has come to a standstill.

By Jimi N |

Really disappointing to visit. Was here in 2013, and absolutely nothing new has happened since then. We know Americans can organize fantastic experiences, so one can only be disappointed—just a money-making machine. We won't be coming back and recommend everyone to spend their money elsewhere.

Good in Parts

By The_Coach55 |

The World of Coca Cola is situated in the Downtown area of Atlanta, close to the aquarium and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.

After the banal and excruciating introduction by the hyped up host and the appalling accompanying video, you could explore the exhibits at your will.

The history of the product from its invention in the late 18th century by John Pemberton was well presented and its advertising campaigns over many years were much in evidence.

The move to production in the unique bottles was interesting and there was a wide range of worldwide Coca Cola products to sample in the tasting room.

Whilst I found it to be a place more suited to the younger visitor, there was enough of interest despite the awful introduction.

Cost was $24 for regular admission.

Should I go or not?

By Junie |

World of Coca-Cola was a nice experience. The museum was very intricate and well structured, you can see that they have thought through everything and not careless with the work. The person who guided us during the first half spoke very fast and slurred as they also spoke through a microphone. There is a lot of text to read so if you have difficulty reading I don't recommend it, you should also have a developed vocabulary in English (for those who don't have English as their first language.) They had an extremely large shop, and the attractions varied.

Not worth it

By Lexi |

This was just stupid and gimmicky. The staff was nice but the experience isn’t worth it. Maybe if you have kids it could be fun but I would save your money and do one of the many better things in the city.

By The5MRanch |

It’s interesting to visit the place, but there are better activities if you have limited time in Atlanta. Getting a picture with the polar bear was the highlight of my.

Deeply disappointed

By LG R |

Disappointed. Had heard there was a tasting room with all the flavours ever made… not any more. Also just not very well done. Am sure there’s more to know about the history of the brand and even CSR. But v little evident. The six minute saccharine fest of advertisements past was just vapid. Congrats Coca Cola, you managed to move me from neutral / positive to anti your brand! Impressively awful! Best highlight - the brewpub around the corner

Disappointed

By Hopsing-NH |

I was really looking forward to this and I left so quickly and disappointed. There were so many people in the tasting room and my shoes were sticking to the floor. I did try a couple of flavors but I grew impatient with so many people in there.

By Jojoancy |

Very disappointing the price is high the parking is exorbitant 25$ and the exhibitions are small not all interesting even some unfinished or useless (there is a quest to open a safe that will anyway remain closed.

Coke

By jangel307621 |

It was great to see and learn about the beginning of the most famous drink in the world, also you have the chance to taste more than 100 different soda tastes from all around the world

By sdgibsonlp62 |

If in Atlanta this is a must at least once. Wonderful self guided tour. Tasting area was fun. Didn't take long to get thru. The history was very interesting. Glad we went.

Overall disappointing

By wxgirl858 |

It was crowded. This is not an easy “museum” to navigate when it’s crowded. We were packed in an entry room for a speech with at least 120 other people and then moved into the theater. I have vertigo and struggled through the video but it was cute and well intentioned.

The line for the vault was long so we never made it in there. We waited at the other exhibits to look around but again, it was crowded and we were stepping all over each other. When we finally made it to the tasting room, it was packed and just not fun. My daughter was upset that they had Coke products from other countries but not actual Coca Cola from other countries (she likes Mexican coke with real sugar). We bought her a souvenir cup and made our way back to the American Coca Cola machines in the back and they were all completely out of Coca Cola. They had taps in the middle of the room, but they were running out and watered down.

My teen was completely disappointed and said there is no reason to go back.

Coca cola

By MRBP |

Enjoy the history of this famous carbonated drink, the whole experience must be done at least 2 hours to visit and try everything. What I love the most is the free taste of different soda from around the world- Visited October 2022

By Cassie H |

Honestly this was a pretty well done museum. The line wasn’t very long so it wasn’t much of a wait. I enjoyed the amount of coke I got to drink. The exhibits are very interesting. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into the museum.

By aasteve802 |

Lines were long and on-line ticket options were sold out by 3:00. Eventually got in with 90 minutes to go, which was the way to do it since it would have been packed earlier. Only one ticket taker who could not apply a AAA discount (really?) which was not working on-line. Exhibits were short on content. Artifacts were decent, but the 3D movie was stupid, the “lab” was a bunch of iPads with ideas for new flavors, and charging an extra $5 for a souvenir cup to try Freestyle machine like you can get anywhere was ridiculous. And no bottling demo. Way over-hyped: skip this attraction.

By phillymike25 |

Not worth the $26 price of admission. This is a big coke advertisement and they shouldn’t charge. Total waste of money. Not worth your family going to this and the line in was longer than the museum.

Okay; somewhat interesting, yet somewhat disappointing.

By dfb260 |

This is a unique type of place: an attraction based on the history of a product (not a person, historic place or event); therefore, it is difficult to compare it to other attractions. I am not sure what I expected; however, I left feeling somewhat “ let down.” The staff people ( greeters) at the beginning of the tour were a big turn-off with their ridiculous “over the top” enthusiasm, which they are apparently required to project. I felt rushed through some of the early parts of the tour where you are required to “stay with the group” rather than having time to look at the displays. Overall, I found it somewhat interesting, but not as enjoyable as I had expected. Call me a disappointed Coca-Cola drinker…

New Years trip to WCC

By DFWKen15 |

Family trip to the World of Coca Cola was enjoyable. The tour was merged history with fun activities.

The tasting stations at the end was the highlight, due to the global representation of drinks and flavors. We spent around 3.25 hrs at the facility- including the store :-)

By Eli K |

This is an iconic place to see when in Atlanta. Although it’s a big advertisement for Coca-Cola, it’s fun to go and enjoy the museum. You can spend a load of time in the tasting room.

What to visit if you're in Atlanta

By Alain490 |

If you're in Atlanta, you have to visit this kind of place to the sole glory of Coca Cola, all over the world. And, you can taste fullness. Personally, I was very quickly sickened!
On the other hand, do not take too great a detour to get there. We'll be disappointed.

Don't bother

By DJANDYHARDING |

There really isn't much else to do in Atlanta, apart from trying to dodge being attacked or mugged, so I thought I'd check out World of Coca-Cola to fill a couple of hours after finishing at a conference. For one of the richest companies on the planet, I found the exhibition very tired and out of date, and quite a depressing advert for the brand. After enduring a cult-like introduction talk, I had expected to see some interesting artefacts related to their history, of which there were some, but it was largely endless cramped corridors with various things behind glass and not much curation to talk of. The tour culminates in the tasting room, which far from being the utopia it is billed as, was rather unpleasant. It was dark, there were screaming kids running around everywhere, the floor was sticky, and the range of drinks was not as large as they make out. I was happy to get out of there. One saving grace is that the gift shop is quite good.

By Jorge Deoclecia... P |

Some old propaganda and coca cola history, we were able to experience some of the flavors of coca in the world. Good to pass the time.

Fun and informative -- as well as tasty!

By Christina A |

The first room we entered was full of memorabilia. The employee that gave the overview and history was amazing, funny and informative. The movie was short and heartwarming. The other exhibits were interesting and fun to look at. We did get our picture with the bear (the photographer took a horrible picture as he was busy playing on his phone, so I'm glad we took one of our own). The tasting level was the best! So much fun trying all the different flavors from around the world. Purchasing pictures at the end was a pain - as the cashier was very distracted (another person scrolling through their phone) and ignored me even though I was standing in front of him. All in all it was a great time.

By maddie1204 |

It was really fun. It takes you through the history of the Coca Cola company and of is a lot of fun. You can try different flavors from all around the world highly highly recommend

By Cassandra F |

This was an adult museum. Nothing of interest for children. It was lots of memorabilia and crowded areas. It should have been a free museum and not have charged the public.

By Breax |

Skip it. It’s just a waste of time. The exhibitions were quite boring and over crowded to be honest. The tasting area was the highlight of the museum, but it was too small and for a company large as Coca Cola I’d expect even more samples.

Get the Fanta from Uganda

By Kevin B |

A tad lame for me. I had the city pass but if not, I would skip it. It is basically just a history of their advertising. The show a pointless 6 minute video at the beginning that ends we people sharing a coke. I would have like a history presentation in the theatre. 2 different tasting labs. The one was them trying new recipes or you mixing your own flavor. The other was cokes around the world. The last pet was fun but otherwise kind of boring. Fanta from Uganda was amazing. A mix of passion fruit, peach and orange if I recall correctly.

By dctravel |

I hadn’t been to the World of Coca Cola in decades. Very glad my son (14) requested to go when we were in Atlanta. Loved the exhibits, especially the tasting room. Glad we got the chance to visit.

By kfibbio |

Honestly was showed how much my fiancé and I enjoyed this place! There’s lots of interesting tidbits and plenty of cool memorabilia to see. Our favorite was the smelling and tasting area. For what we paid we felt it was a good value!

A place to visit just for the annecdote.

By Trek13698207244 |

We attend during long weekend, Sunday.
I bought my tickets here at TripAdvisor, no problem at all and my saved $3 per ticket.
After reading so many reviews I decided that the best time to visit the museum was in the afternoon (we enter at 5pm) BEST DECISION EVER! It was busy… yeah, but we enjoyed every room without a crowd or we didn’t have to wait to touch every interactive screen lol
Lots of memorabilia and information. At some point it was very repetitive, nothing new to learn. I truly believe this is not a museum for kids. The “taste it” room was the busiest, sticky floors, yes. But I saw cleaning staff always doing their best to maintain it clean. I was expecting the WOW factor at Coca-Cola World, knowing this is a multibillion company.! It never happened, a little bit disappointed. Other museums do better.

If you are a fan, go for it.
PS. The Polar Bear was anywhere around

It's a great museum.

By Arthur |

The museum's showcase was spectacular. The kids loved the rooms where they tasted the various kinds of additional flavourings and experienced the aroma room.

Amazing exhibits

By joe-chicago-23 |

Buying tickets in advance online and getting an Uber ride here makes for an easy entrance at the scheduled time. The introduction by a staff member about all the memorabilia was a great way to begin. The short movie that followed was a feel good story.
Once entering the exhibits we found that it really doesn't matter in what order you see them. They were all outstanding. There is much history presented about different beverages and the company itself.
The tasting area provided a chance to sample drinks from around the world that we had never heard of.

By Randall H |

We went on a Sunday afternoon, when the ticket lines can be particularly long, especially if the weather is perfect! Some may think saving 5 to 10 minutes isn't that big off a deal, and sometimes it isn't, but saving 5 to 10 minutes in line can be the difference in 1 or 2 groups and by the end it can can save 30 to 45 minutes by the end of your visit!

Great trip! Horrible staff and ticket process

By andrewthero |

This trip was worth it, my wife oo’d and ah’d at every turn. I will definitely come back with our kids. The only downsides were the staff, they all seemed like they hated their lives and they made it known everytime I had the audacity to ask a question about where something was located. Also, PLEASE do not buy tickets in advance. My wife and I bought in advance and then couldn’t get into anywhere to park and the tickets were nonrefundable.

Fun Experience

By Stephanie |

We had fun exploring and learning about the World of Coke. Obviously the taste room is a massive attraction and why people love to go, but I found the history of Coke to be very interesting.

Cafe closed - Great museum

By Anne K |

The museum was great - lots of info and interactive exhibits.
Beware that the cafe shown on the website is not open .. they've moved it outside, but there's no way to exit the World of Coke that allows you to come back in .....wish they'd told us that when we entered, since we went at lunchtime planning to eat there before visiting exhibits.

By Lina M Caceres |

Great place to understand the culture of one of the best companies in the world. You learn, connect, enjoy, its really nice place to have a great experience doesn’t matter what age do you have.

Stay away from this unless you have money to throw away

By Inspiration815768 |

Do not go here unless you want to spend the money on seeing an advertisement, try different tastes of coke, and go shopping. It was nothing but a big adversiment. A total waste of time and money.

Great gift shop but very bad drink taste

By Geetanjali J |

The coke museum was cool and the gift shop had many good items to buy but at the tasting station the drinks tasted salty and not sweet like coke products and it tasted like the filter was broken

History of an iconic brand

I thought it was a well put together history of an iconic brand. It was presented well but wasn't too long of a presentation.

By Nick P |

3 / 5

Unless you have a fascination for Coca Cola the experience is ok.

The 3D movie is decent.

The rest of the medium is based on historical information on how the company started.

In the end of the day I felt it was all about selling , you buying more coke.

By StorkRN1 |

First of all, show up at the beginning of the “window of time” they give you! Mine said 9:45-10 and when I got there at 9:52, I had to be taken by a worker up to meet my group! Our guide, Robin, was great and knowledgeable. A little difficult to understand with the mask, but I got more used to it as the tour went on. Loved the history. Learned that our Santa Claus’s red and white outfit is due to an artist at Coca-Cola that painted him that way back in 1931! Who knew? Fun tour and loved the private photo time w the bear and all the tastings at the end!

A Giant Commercial, but Still Worth It

By Jason G |

The experience is basically one giant commercial, so you feel like you've been sold a bit by the end of the experience, but they at least make it fun in the process, so kudos to Coke for pulling it off. Understandably, since this is a family place, they gloss over the less savory parts of the history of the product, so if you care about the true history of Coke, do yourself a favor and Google it. Tasting room is amazing, so be sure to save plenty of time for that.

Not "museum" I thought it would be.

By R2161TUjosephs |

I was not a fan . Did not feel there was much offered here to justify the price. The section actually devoted to history was somewhat interesting as was the drink sampling area at the end. It to me came off as a oversized walk through commercial which I suppose I should have expected. I was looking for something more in the vain of a museum this to me was not that.

By SouthernRoots |

If you are a die hard Coke enthusiast, you will love this place. Pretty cool to see vintage coke memorabilia and learn some history about the brand. There is a lot of reading that kids will skip past. There is a scent room/smell lab that was a turn off to us because of germs. It gave us the ick to put our nose right up against something and smell it after tons of other people had done the same. Honestly they need to get rid of that whole part and do something else. Still not sure what it had to do with Coke. Something about smells and memories. The tasting room was fun to get to taste different drinks from around the world. Epcot had the same thing when we went there...not sure if they still do. The gift shop was cute. We went early on a week day when it was not crowded. Staff did not seem interested in telling us anything about the exhibits. They were standing in groups talking to one another, with the exception of the first room we went into, which was a mandatory speech then a mandatory 6 minute Coke film. We were there around 1 hour. If you aren't a die hard Coke enthusiast....its just ok.

By KatieD06 |

Luckily we didn’t have to wait in long lines since we went late on a Friday afternoon. Lines on Saturday were out the door. I would NEVER wait to get into this place. Highlight was getting to try the different beverages from all over the world. Outside of that, there wasn’t a lot of substance or educational information. There was a vault exhibit that we think was supposed to be teaching about Coke’s secret formula, but the message was definitely lost. I didn’t leave knowing anything more about Coke. Super expensive for a family.

By momlili |

What a fun place! Lots of history about Coke, you can make your own flavor, and there are many different flavors from all over the world that you can taste. The gift shop is super fun and pretty reasonably priced . If you buy over a certain amount (I think it was $75) they’ll ship it for free !!

No interest

By valreg |

Unnecessary visit, keep your money. We are shown an advertising film for 10 minutes, well we have the same thing on the TV during the commercials. Then we pass into rooms which are not designed to receive dozens of visitors at the same time. Large walls with photos explaining who discovered the formula for Coke. Drawers to open to see information so if everyone opens the drawers and then reads the visit never ends. Everything is in English, no audio guide. The tasting at the end, in a large room, with distributors with products from around the world, you really have to be a soda fan to appreciate it. Then the store with many products more or less expensive. For the photo with the bear you have to fall at the right times. Not counting the $20 parking. No information on bottling.

Fun and quick experience!

By Miranda |

We had a few hours in between other tours so we decided to stop at the world of Coca-Cola! You get s free postcard when entering which is nice. Then you enter a room with a bunch of nostalgia pieces and get a brief history of the creation of Coca-Cola. We saw the vault where they keep the secret formula, got to play a smell/senses game which was fun, and saw more pieces of memorabilia. The best part is the last room where you could try different coke products from all over the world! We tried sprite with cucumbers, a plum drink, Beverly, and a bunch of other things. Overall the experience was interesting and fun. You don't need a lot of time to go through it either.

So Much to See about Coca-Cola

By Bob C |

I have visited the World of Coca-Cola each time I have been in Atlanta (4 times in the last 15 years) and it never disappoints. A lot of exhibits are still mostly the same, especially the artifacts of Coke advertising and such, but there are other newer exhibits that keep it interesting, including the new Beverage Lab. The tasting room where you can sample Coca-Cola beverages from around the world is always a treat. The World of Coca-Cola is a fun way to spend a good part of a day in Atlanta. Would definitely return and recommend.

A must do in Atlanta

By L1226KMjohnw |

This was our second visit, this time with our grandson and 20 years after our first. Not only has it moved but they have added many updates. Our goal was to show him some history of Coke and also have fun. Both were accomplished. Our favorite tasting besides the original Classic Coke had to be cucumber watermelon.

I would recommend the guided tour. They gave us special treatment. It was totally worth it.

By Lynn N |

We really enjoyed our time at the World of Coke. So glad that we went on the guided tour as there was so much to see. The tour was very informative and interesting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable . She made us feel special.

No disabled parking

By WeAreTheRoswells |

I called to find out where someone who is mobility impaired could park a high top van with a disabled parking placard. I was told they had a parking garage where everyone parks. I asked if there was disabled parking and was told no park in the garage. I said my van does not fit in the garage and I would like to know where parking is for the mobility impaired. I eventually asked to speak to a supervisor I was told there was no supervisor. So I didn’t I spent my money elsewhere. I also will never buy another Coca-Cola product as long as I live.

Great Family Time

By Glen L |

We had a great time, and the kids enjoyed seeing the history here. We went not long after opening and didn't have to wait in line so that was great!!

Like a stampede.

By Cindy S |

The crowds of people, all walking and shoving together to get thru the displays was awful. We were not able to learn about or experience the displays without being shoved. Not a good learning experience of the product.

I do not drink Coca Cola very often. Still, it has been on my bucket list to visit the World of Coca Cola. I can now check it off my bucket list after visiting this past Easter Sunday. Spent over 2 fantastic hours here, and I enjoyed every minute of it. From the time we walked inside to the time we exited the retail shop, it was great!

It was fun learning about the history of how Coca Cola came to be. Terrific seeing all the Coca Cola memorabilia. My absolute favorite part of visiting the World of Coca Cola was the tasting area. Tasted several dozen Coca Cola products from all over the world. I was thinking that all the drinks would be Coca Cola from different countries. I believed that they made Coca Cola differently in each country. To my delight, this was not the case.

Coca Cola makes all kinds of products including Sprite, Fanta, Minute Maid, and many other brand names. In the tasting area, there are several fountain drink stations where you can sample beverages from all over the world. My favorites were the Sprite from Romania, the Fanta Sour Plum flavor from China, and the Beverly flavor from Italy.

Have to warn you that most folks were not fond of the Sour Plum flavor from China. It smelled and tasted like bbq sauce. Strangely refreshing to me. Wifey and I really liked the Beverly flavor. From what we observed, we were the only ones who liked it. It was funny to watch everyone's negative reaction who tried the drink. Wifey and I liked the bitter grapefruit taste.

Overall, it was an AWESOME time at the World of Coca!! Well worth the price of admission!!

Cola history

By We Like to Travel |

We visited Coca-Cola as we were able to get some tickets at the end of the day. We had about 2hrs to see what we could as there were summer crowds. It could be worth a visit during the off season but glad we were able to visit. If you are a Coca-Cola enthusiast, then this place is for you. The coke tasting at the end was interesting. From there we entered their gift shop that has many good finds.

Wonderful.

By Samuel Ortiz |

It is a place to learn about the history of the Coca Cola brand and see the different stages of the process. There is an area to taste the different brands according to the region.

By Amanda K |

We were in town for 48 hours and decided to go hit up this place. It was pretty cool other than the Swarms of people and they didn't space out each bunch of people so you were constantly waiting in a line to go to another experience. The other really dumb thing was the video that they made you watch had very little to nothing to do with Coca-Cola would have been way cooler if it was like the history of Coke but instead it was 7 Minutes of nothing but following different people on their happiness so it really seemed out of place like they were purposely trying to kill time but the screen rising at the end was very cool and then getting to make quote unquote your own concoction was interesting. I do not recommend going on a weekend, I do recommend purchasing your tickets online ahead of time and bringing all the patients you have to be able to look through everything in the crowds of people

It’s a gift shop on coke

By L V |

Pay attention: the name museum is not in the name. And that’s for a reason. It’s a gift shop on coke. If you want to learn about the company and history, it offers very little information.

Visit to Coca-Cola-World

By Oliver FW |

Great atmosphere and beautiful experience of Coca-Cola history.
At different beverage dispensers you can taste the full spectrum of different Coca-Cola varieties and visit the safe with the secret Coca-Cola formula.

By JULIAN I |

This museum sucks. It was boring, uninformative and just one long advertisement. Total waste of time and money. They only reason they get 2 stars is because they let you taste coke products from around the world. Which was mildly interesting but made me nauseous from all the sugar. Do yourself a favor and skip this.

Awful - avoid

By Slade |

Lacks any real substance - Gimmicky and poorly designed. No structure or any comprehensive history of Coca Cola.
We were excited before visiting but were really disappointed. Avoid.

By ilGiangy |

It is a museum set as an amusement park little history more artifact, the only thing really interesting is the final tasting of the 400 drinks produced by coca cola around the world, that is the only experience worth the cost of the ticket. The staff is very nice and friendly and have fun with the guests

By Amber D |

We booked our tickets thru the aquarium and saved like $50, the Coca-Cola museum was really cool. The best part is obviously all the different cokes to try it’s a small tour but worth it. We had a great time

World of Coke: A Taste-filled Journey with Minor Theater and Fountain Issues

By S L |

Our visit to the World of Coke was delightful overall. The museum offers an extensive array of Coca-Cola memorabilia and history, which was fascinating to explore. We especially enjoyed the Taste It! exhibit, where we could sample various Coke products from around the world—a highlight for any Coke enthusiast. However, our experience in the movie theater was slightly marred by a broken chair, which detracted from our enjoyment. Additionally, there was a minor issue at the soda fountain where sparkling water was inadvertently dispensed instead of regular water. Despite these small hiccups, the World of Coke provided an enriching and enjoyable experience that we highly recommend.

Rude Salesperson 😮

By mike e |

I am currently on vacation from the UK and had an overall positive experience with The World of Coca-Cola until I reached the checkout. I spent a total of $186 on Coca-Cola merchandise, and when I sought clarification on the high UK tax included in my purchases, the employee her name is Tamiya responded rudely, stating, "Because it is a tax." I found this dismissive and unprofessional.

This behaviour is completely unacceptable for someone representing the Coca-Cola brand. I am very disappointed and will be drafting a formal email to a senior manager regarding this incident. Also, she needs to be retrained on customers' service when serving visitors to Coca-Cola Cola.

I await your response.

Meh

By jd142380 |

It’s a paid advertisement for coke, and you are the one paying. The tasting room is fun, the rest is pretty boring. The kids were ready to go shortly after we got there. It’s clean and the people are nice, but… definitely won’t be going back. If you are someone that loves everything coke, it’s probably cool, but for everyone else: meh.

Poorly coordinated

By Andria W |

This was probably my least favorite museum tour ever. Tickets are timed, however when you first enter the building you have to wait several minutes in a large group of people. Then you're let into a smaller room, to again wait for a several minutes (in even tighter quarters), to watch a marketing video for another several minutes that had no value whatsoever. It would have been great if the video was at least informative and went through the history of Coca-Cola. "The Vault" was a terrible experience, again have to wait and then you're in a very small room with lots of people where you are roped off again for several minutes between 3 very small rooms. The tasting room was neat to taste the other flavors but the floor was incredibly sticky, I think my shoes are still recovering from it. The 3D movie, again gimmicky and not information whatsoever. Liked meeting the polar bear. Overall terrible experience, would not recommend.

Nice way to spend a few hours.

By Chase man! |

It's a nice location and has easy access. The only thing is that it is a little on the pricey side, but compared to the average price for entertainment in Atlanta it's a deal worth taking.

By Bea |

Visited with my children. It is an interesting place offering interactive experience. You can create your own drink and try various coca-cola drinks from all over the world. You can also learn quite a lot about history of coca-cola. There is also a nice shop.

Glad I went bit not impressed.

By CoachK2525 |

Not bad but was definitely expecting more for cost and "publicity". Highlight is the tasting room as far as all the "worldly" flavors. Was visiting area and had to try and no regrets overall.

So cool

By LindsayNjoe429 |

This was such a neat experience! Lots of history of Coca Cola and they had the polar bear for the kiddies to take photos with. There was a great tasting station where you can taste from around the world and of course multiple fountain stations of the original Coke. If you’re a Coca Cola fan, this is a great place for you. It’s worth the money and a great thing to do on a rainy day! Gift shop has tons of memorabilia.

Coca-Cola memorabilia

By Ross |

If you like memorabilia related to Coca-Cola, then this is the spot for you. There was one interactive spot where you try to make the logo. We were there when the Coca-Cola polar bear came out. We could wait in line to have our picture taken with the bear if we wanted. This is a very well done mascot. The best part was getting to sample the different sodas made by Coca-Cola, especially by different countries. There is quite a bit of variety on things to purchase in the gift store as well.

By Oluwatosin Ajibade |

This was a great experience for me as I had a tour within the world of coca-cola museum in Atlanta. There was a lot to learn about the origin of coca-cola, the family, business and the world of coca-cola around the world. I had few hours to spend and I had to catch up with everything.

The best part for me was the tasting section. I could not believe my eyes to the wonders of coca-cola and different flavors from around the world.

The gift store is another tour on its own. You need to swipe and get some goodies while you exit the building.

Will I do this again? Yes!!!! And count me in for more adventures like this.

Great place to visit in Atlanta

By Andrea C |

Fun place to visit for the entire family, very informative and some very interesting cola products to sample at the end. Nice gift store

It's funny.

By Cristina |

Going to Atlanta and not seeing the Coke Museum you can't! The experience is nice and interesting. The funniest part for us was at the end of the tour when, in a huge room with many taps like fast food, we tasted the drinks marketed all over the world. Recommended! N.B. you do not need to buy any tour, just buy the museum ticket at the ticket office before entry.

By MadisonAinsley |

I’ve done my fair share of beverage tours before - Guinness, Jack Daniels, Jameson, Johnny Walker, Heineken etc. they all somewhat feel the same so was expecting the same from Coca-Cola but it really missed.

Understood that we bought the general admission ticket, but they still attempt to batch the group into the theaters and into the museum of relics and it was overly crowded which means loud and no space to see anything.

They showed us a 6 minute advertisement which told you absolutely nothing about the product. It was like a long TVC.

I left the museum not knowing a single thing more about coca-Cola than when I entered.

World of coke tour

By Mark A |

Visited this place as part of the Atlanta pass ticket. Did expect a little bit more but there is loads of memorabilia to look at and it does explain the history of the secret recipe that is still not known and the reason it was invented. The tasting floor is massive and it reminds me of when Charlie bucket rose up in the original Willy wonka film. Also you would never believe how many flavours there are around the world!

By Shannon H |

Overall we had a fun time, it was exciting, and interactive throughout the exhibit. You can take as much time as you'd like, we spent just over an hour wandering around.

By RJRS121 |

I was a little concerned as all descriptions of this seemed a little boring. Ignore them. This was fun, interactive and informative and my teen loved it. Granted, free samples of Coke drinks from around the world was one of the highlights sending sugar levels through the roof!! But actually, this was fun for all of us.

Stay away!

By Marc P |

No regard for customer experience, excessively greedy operation. Complete and total money grab! Even though tickets are assigned a time when busy you have to wait in line for an hour to get in. Exhibit rooms are crammed with people so you can barely move. And in the tasting room so much spillage on the floors it’s hard not to step in puddles so be prepared to leave with sticky shoes. And to top it all off when you send them customer feedback with suggestions on what they can do to improve their museum they send you an automated form letter response within an hour without even reading your feedback. They just don’t care! Save your money and time, so many better ways to spend it in Atlanta!

Growth of a Business by 1,000,000% in 30 Years

By Sara G. |

Let’s be a tourist in Atlanta over lunch. World of Coca Cola it is. I didn’t know Coca-Cola owned literally everything lol.

The exhibit is a spot that allows you to interact with the brand via a lab, the vault, scent evaluation, history impact and taste testing.

Some fun facts:
1. 1886 pharmacists John Lemberton created and sold Coca Cola at Jacobs Pharmacy. Sold at 5 cents.
2. Asa Candler bought the recipe from Pemberton in 1889 for $2,300 and sold it for $25 million 1919.
3. In 2011, the secret formula was placed at the centre of a permanent exhibit called The Vault. You can visit the Vault today.

So much memorabilia. Unbelievable.

By Renee B |

Very, very, nice place to visit. Lots of things to see and learn. There us a soda place to try different sodas from different countries. We loved it!

Could be alot better

By anderson213 |

There are interesting aspects of the "museum." However, it's in a relatively small area, with school groups and others always in the way--especially in the tasting of the world sodas area. So, it's LOUD and STICKY. If done differently, it may be a cool exhibit area or at least, on a slower day. But, on the day that we visited, it was pact with too many unsupervised children making scenes and messes.--Other than that area, the museum has a lot of nostaglic merchandise displayed and a corny, short 3 -D film. There's a limited option room where you "create" your own soda--but not really--making a beverage is far more complicated than pushing a couple of buttons that gives one a rating of "fruity" 1-5. The only good part of the museum is where less people convert to and that's because it requires READING. This area actually gives a person the history of Coke and you can learn some intersting facts about the company (with few kids around--yeah).--As a whole, this place is meant for the 5-15 age group and as a person gets older, he/she will think that the place is just a money grab and a waste of time.

Family Getaway

By DianaL6232012 |

My husband and I have been here before, but this time we took our kids. Not a whole lot has changed since the last time we were there, so if you've been there, I don't know if I would recommend going again. The highlights though were trying (and really liking)
"New Coke" (from the 80s) and obviously trying the drinks from around the world.

Magic Place

By Ginalda Caripa |

It was an excellent visit. Throughout the visit, there was always entertainment, interactive games, and lots of interesting facts. It was very exciting to learn the whole history of Coca-Cola and how it has impacted the lives of many people. Beautiful. Ahh, lots of Coca-Cola to drink. Go with an empty stomach.

Ehhhh

By Sarah V |

It’s was my kid’s first time to Atlanta and they wanted to try the Coca Cola museum. It was ok. You get herded around like sheep from room to room where you spend several minutes hearing basic facts about Coke. Then herded to the next room. The had a vault room, where the secret recipe is hidden(supposedly), and some other exhibits.

The tasting room was by far the best thing about the place. Even that was kinda ruined by everyone pushing their way through to sample something.

If you don’t have a CityPASS, please don’t waste your money

Great Holiday Season Visit

By C B |

The flat rate parking is convenient. The campus is beautiful and tranquil. I fully enjoyed the self guided experience.

Several staff members are fully engaged. For example, Caleb in the Scent Room and Will C in the Icons (Polar Bear) Room are amazing. Thank you!! However, others need customer service training. Yikes!

Overall, I highly recommend a visit if you wish to learn about scents, flavors, your favorite soft drinks, capitalism and marketing at its best. Great visit!

Totally Fell Flat: Awful and Not Worth Cost or Time

By Angela R |

We had a miserable time at World of Coca Cola. We had 3 PM timed tickets and still needed to wait both outside (in the rain) and then under a canopy for literally an hour to get in. Signs were unclear. Staff really tried (I felt for them) but the crowd control was awful. After waiting an hour we were herded like cattle into a ridiculous promotional film (that had little to do with Coke) before we were finally ushered into the “exhibits,” which were mediocre at best. There were a few cool things (two original Santa paintings) but mostly it was just replicas and Coke memorabilia. The tasting room was a crowded disaster with sticky floors and people acting like this was their last chance on Earth to get soda. I admit - we went at a busy time (holiday week) and perhaps if we went first thing in the morning and spent a quick hour it would have been fun. I can see that - it was cute. But it wasn’t worth an hour wait to get in BY FAR, and even if there was no line I would never go back. Very disappointing and, may I add, very expensive. The best part was the gift shop with some cool Coke stuff. The only thing keeping me from giving zero stars is the staff - they were nice and tried really hard to be helpful.

If your time is limited in Atlanta you may want to skip this one...not a "must see!"

By Lucysfriend |

Possibly young families would find the World of Coca Cola fun or interesting but as mature adults my husband and I thought our time could be better spent elsewhere. The experience is mainly an extended advertisement for the product. I thought there would be more information about the production of coke, even through film, but it is mostly a collection of old advertisements and gimicks. In the "Vault" they covered who discovered the formula for coke and how much it sold for to different investors over the years. That history was new to me and interesting. In this same area, the most interesting display to me was seeing your hand and body "bubblized." I agree with what others have said. Coke is making a killing for what you are experiencing, charging high fees to enter and then parking is a $20 flat fee. We were lucky that crowds were small when we went through. Much of the experience is maze like and narrows down to tight pathways through the displays.

Coca-Cola fan’s paradise. Great information on the history of coke. Don’t listen ti the haters.

By Steven L |

If you like Coca-Cola memorabilia this is the place for you. Awesome experience their one way method keeps things flowing nice. Be mindful of the number of people moving slowly through the exhibits.

Tons of information-the perfect amount of historical information on the coke brand/brands.

I recommend doing the flavor lab to “create your own flavor.” After you’d be able to taste what it would taste like later through the exhibit.

In the tasting room there are a lot of people who are not self aware and will have their entire family take up the soda fountains. You have to be quick. But the tasting is remarkable. There are drinks that I never heard of and opened my eyes to what other cultures find appealing. I hope in the future there might be a few team members that could help nudge some of these soda hogs along the rest of the room.

By Jen L. |

I visited about 10 years ago and I thought it was such a neat place and fun. I was pretty excited to visit again with my husband. Sadly, this has changed and not for the better. Hearded cattle to a quick overview and then shuffled to watch a 6 minutes video on something? Maybe Coca-Cola? Maybe not? I am just not sure. At that point I knew we were doomed. Complete money grab and waste of time. Finally got upstairs to the tasting area. Could not even get close to a sip of anything. Went back downstairs and wanted to leave.Told we had to go back upstairs and through the tasting area and gift shop-of course. Thanks Coca-Cola….I think I will drink Pepsi from now on.

Underwhelming

By Katie K |

2.5. This was a little underwhelming. I didn't love having to sit through a video to even get into a museum, and the exhibits were interesting, but probably could've been skipped. The tasting room was fun, but I was hoping for a different vibe than Club Cool, and didn't really get that. This is definitely better if you have kids, but probably skippable otherwise.

By Simpaty73 |

Very beautiful experience, 4D cinema, memorabilia and history of the creation of Coca Cola... all strictly in the native language only. (Sin).
Tasting all the drinks in the world you want (from the Coca Cola brand) is a fun opportunity to try to build and invent your own drink starting from scratch.
The gadgets at the final shop were a little overpriced in my opinion, but overall a nice experience.

Tasting room needs work

By Theresa j |

Loved every thing even the sticky floor non carbonated flavors in the tasting area so perhaps monitor the machines more often

Be careful when you go…

By Meaghan L |

We went to the aquarium during our week stay and decided to head to the World of Coca-Cola right after. After seeing the enormous line to get in we decided to just hit the gift shop, which was huge and had some great stuff. We looked for a bit before realizing the line to check out was just as long as the line to get into the regular entry! Unfortunately it was moving kind of slow so we wouldn’t have had enough time to look for what we wanted - around all the people standing in line - before having to leave and ended up empty handed.

By Parag Gulwani |

Nice to see once if you are a real fan of Coke.
They give brief history of Coke, coke related marketing items since day one are put for display.
You can meet the mascot polar bear ( fun for kids). The best part of it is you can taste 100’s of coke flavors around the world!!!
They could have added a model tour of the coke making and bottling ( I know they don’t want to share the recipe), but it is good to see a model of the factory ( similar to Hershey’s)

A NICE EXPERIENCE

By hasanberkay |

We went a long time ago, in February 2019. This place is beautiful. Inside, he explains the history and development process of Coca Cola. A nice tour. Additionally, after the tour is over, you can taste all the drinks marketed by Coca Cola around the world. I strongly recommend it.

Tasty views

By Ramika E |

Was excited for this visit. I heard about the tasting room and it did not disappoint. Your staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The only disappointment was the vault you cant have a person telling a story at the same time as the recording playing louder it was hard to hear either and i wanted to hear at least one of them. They should do that tour with no recording just the tour guide and a mic for him so the entire group will hear him clearly.

Fun time, a little smaller than I thought it would be.

By Kevin |

This place had some interesting exhibits. Being that Coca-Cola was invented in Atlanta, it's cool to see some history and memorabilia and how it's associated with the city. You get to read about the history of how Coke was invented and see a bunch of different products on display from Coca-Cola (including all the other beverages the company owns). The tasting room was cool as you could sample many different Coca-Cola products from around the world.

Even though we went on a Thursday morning, it was a little busy because we were there at the same time as a school field trip was happening, but the staff did a good job of organizing to make sure the regular guests didn't get mixed up with the school groups. Overall, I had a fun 2 hours exploring, but I thought the building was smaller than I thought it was going to be.

Good fun

By Birgitta-Kenneth |

Mind you I havent had a Coke since 2019 but I really enjoyed our visit here. Well organised and very well presented so we really recommend it

By Johnhunt2008 |

We got our tickets with CityPass. Our main goal was to hit the aquarium and we got the deal to see the aquarium, Coca Cola and 3 other places. I actually had high hopes for Coke, as it’s an American Icon.

The reality, had I not gotten the tickets thru city pass and got a pretty good deal on the aquarium, I would have been bent paying our full price to go in Coca Cola world.

First they herd you into the first “presentation,” where you line up (or group up) before being admitted into the next presentation. In that main (first room), they talk about some art work and some giant coke bottles having been painted by some of the Olympians during the Olympics in 96. Pretty boring.

Part 2- move to the next presentation where they have quite a bit of coke memorabilia, a dude talks for 12-15 minutes and points a few things out. He said there were over 100,000 pieces of memorabilia in the room, but I found that sort of hard to believe.

After 15 minutes of that, they then move you into another room where you watch a 6 minute video which really didn’t make a lot of sense. I still can’t quite figure it out. But… well, whatever.

You’re then moved onto the awe inspiring view of the “vault,” where allegedly, the secret recipe for CC is hidden and is under high observation and security. You get a view of the vault door, you can’t get closer than 3 feet, or allegedly, an alarm will sound and the coke police will show up.

After that, you’re set free to wander about 3 different rooms. One of which is “smells” where you can stick your nose in front of a panel and open up the little keyhole and somehow smell something. The smell is supposed to bring you back to some point in your life like, supposed one of the smells might be the smell of a boiled cinnamon stick and it might bring you back to thinking of Christmas.
There were probably maybe 20 to 30 of these different panels, of which 20 to 30 of them were covered in grimy Fingerprints and hand marks and really, most of them smelled like bad breath or dirty hands. I was unable to pick up any scents at all.

I forgot to mention that downstairs hidden behind the bathrooms there is a “lab“ where you can walk through a room and see some of the gold, prescription type bottles and cans and different things that would be may be found in a lab and probably what would amount to being a lot of Very old Coca-Cola memorabilia, but not necessarily with the notable, common day and historical “Coca-Cola“ look to it. You probably could spend a fair amount of time opening up drawers and looking at different things and reading a bunch of stuff but overall it was just kind of crowded and not really super organized.

Back upstairs again, you move from the sense room to another sensory room, which was so underwhelming that I can’t even remember what it was about.

From then they move you to the tasting room where if you can manage to get from point a two point BCND, And make it through the crowds and somehow make it across the sticky floor without getting stuck in place, you can visit three different stations and taste test the cola flavors and cola brands that are available throughout the world. There are probably 10 different flavors ranging from probably at least a dozen which if you are from North America, you might be familiar, and then another at least maybe 20 to 30 different flavors from the around the world (I realize the math doesn’t add up here, I did not actually count the number of flavors at each station, but there was a good number of them).

Once you manage to get through the sticky floor and battle the crowd and managed to somehow get to the flavors because people will stand there with their group of five or six people, and try the flavors over and over again, causing a fair amount of time for you to wait while they take their time retesting and re-tasting different flavors.

From the tasting floor, they move you onto what you would not recognize in modern days as the “cook machine“ that you would find at your local movie theater or restaurant that is the big machine where you touch the different flavors and there are who knows, 60 or 70 different flavor options that pop out of that machine?

So you get your fair share of soda on this trip. There were a number of kids that Moore complaining about upset stomach, feeling buzzed from having too much caffeine, or having stomach aches or feeling like had it. There were other kids buzzing around, clearly on a caffeine or a sugar high and it seems like there were a number of people that sort of had green faces from ingesting too many different types of soda.

At that point the tour is over and they move you to the gift shop, which is quite large and quite crowded and everything from what you would call “vintage” (about replica) collector memorabilia, that kind of stuff you would have wanted to start collecting in the 40s or 50s or 60s and would love to have that collection, but clearly it was all very modern and there really was nothing vintage.

Things were sold from keychains to magnets to stress balls to jackets and shirts and pants and hats and squishy stress, balls, and bottle openers and pretty much anything you could possibly think of was in that gift shop. This was clearly the pinnacle of the “tour“ and the place where hundreds and hundreds of dollars could be spent on starting a collection or buying maybe half a dozen cool Coca-Cola glasses or picking up a retro 1950s high school type letterman‘s jacket that had Coca-Cola written I love it, this is the place that you would go to find anything and everything Coca-Cola.

Myself, I would probably have rather inherited a collection or have purchased a collection of Coke memorabilia versus buying things there.

You can also get a can of Coke for seven dollars is customized with your name and a little background on it, but then you have to decide if you’re going to check your bag and get the thing home or if you want to open it up and drink it before you take it on the plane or, I imagine some people might poke a hole in the bottom of it and drain it out but not in our case we are going to check a bag and we have the can rolled up nicely and we are banking on the pressurization of the airplane to keep the cat from exploding.

That’s pretty much a wrap. Hands down the largest place in the “tour“ is the gift shop and clearly that’s where they wanted you to be. It was crowded, mostly clean, I wouldn’t say it was disorganized, there were probably some nice pieces of clothing in there that maybe folks would purchase and wear, but more really kind of tchotchke type things to buy.

And once you spent your couple of hundred bucks there, it’s all over. So here like the question, what I do it again?. One and done, no need to return. I can’t really think of anything that you might not be able to purchase at coca-cola.com or maybe on eBay or maybe on Amazon, and maybe some higher quality stuff. I’m not saying that it was junk. It was all probably decent quality stuff but again a lot of stuff and clearly where they wanted you to be.

The “auto expect“ section says that you can spend 3 to 4 hours there. I think you would be catatonic if you spent 3 to 4 hours there, whether in trying to read All of the stuff that’s there or trying to taste all of the different flavors, at some point, you would end up in a comma if you were to spend four hours there.

Myself, I was happy to get out. It was just me and my daughter, a shirt, a couple of keychains, a signature Coca-Cola can, and a fridge magnet were purchased and I believe that came to total of $136.

But overall I give it a two out of five stars. I think I was kind of disappointed in knowing that we’re talking about a $300 billion company that has been a staple of our nation, it’s an iconic brand and has a ton of variety and history with our country here in the United States, and also of course, with the rest of the world. I guess my expectations were high, and the overall presentation and experience was kind of low.

Again, would I do it again? No. No way. Is it one of those things you have to do while in Atlanta? Yeah, I would say so, but use something like city pass or another tour company so you’re paying full price. Again, as I paid full price for that experience, I think I would’ve been sadly disappointed where I am only really moderately disappointed.

Overall, it’s a taste test, a little bit of history, and a gift shop. I did ask the lady who was standing in front of the vault if she believed that the special secret sauce recipe was indeed in the vault there at the store and she was rather flipping with me telling me that they don’t have “fake news“ there at the Coca-Cola or world of Coca-Cola Experience, but absolutely the secret recipe is indeed in the vault.

Anyway, I’ve said too much. I think it was underwhelming. Where I recommend it? Only if you can get a discount on it. As I mentioned before we were able to get the zoo and the aquarium and the cook Experience and a couple of other things, I think one of them was the natural history Museum. the other one was the college football, Hall of Fame, which we did not enter. But if that’s your thing, and you get a Coca-Cola experience along with it, then it’s worth it.

Definitely not the highlight of our visit at again, I guess that’s something you need to do. but make sure you don’t pay full price and that somehow you get involved with something like city pass or something else where you get additional venues and events so you don’t feel like you got host on the situation.

Anyway, I would welcome feedback, be interested in hearing your experiences. And my apologies for the super long review, but might as well get it all out there, right? If you completely disagree with me, please don’t hate. I’m open to listening to what you experienced and perhaps it can shed some light on my experience but overall, I believe there was one goal in mind, and that was to get you to the gift shop as soon as possible it’s rather large and clearly the coordinate of the venue. So good luck, enjoy, and I would love to hear back from you. Thank you!

This experience was so disappointing. I went years ago with my parents and remember it being so much better. Even going in the evening the place was packed and went from one holding area to the next. Once we were finally inside, it was so packed and unorganized we couldn’t wait to just leave. The tasting area was disgusting and people pushing to get to the dispensers so we just left. I know it’s all about the money, but they would do much better by limiting the amount of people and tickets per day so people could have a better experience.

Greenwashing

The history of Coca Coca is interesting and so is the tasting. On the other hand, no mention of the environment, we even have the right to a photo with a polar bear! Coming from the largest plastic polluter in the world, this is an aberration and a disappointment.

Short and sweet

It's a rather quick tour, some nice highlights on history and tastings but probably best left for children and real superfans

Cheesy but Fun

World of Coca Cola is meant to make you feel like you are in a Coca Cola commercial. They are aiming for happy and bubbly. Tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly. There are several exhibitions to be visited at your own pace.
The highlight for many is the tasting room at the end; I rarely drink soda, so it was a real experience for me. Loved the Inca Cola from Peru!
The gift shop is amazing!

Wish you could just do the tasting room (for less)

I had visited several times when the museum was in its old location. The new spot is across from the aquarium and the Center for Civil and Human Rights. I believe you can get a discount if you purchase tickets to multiple attractions. It also makes sense to make a day of it because parking is $20 a pop no matter how long you stay. The Coca Cola Museum isn’t cheap either. Like many similar attractions, you get your picture taken at the beginning of the tour and at several other points throughout the visit and can then purchase (at super high prices) the resulting photos. You start by entering a gallery with lots of memorabilia where a staff member briefly points out a few highlights. Next is a short film which is just a promo for Coke. I would have been more interested in something that went over the history of the company. After that, you can explore the rest of the museum at your own pace. There is a “lab” where you learn about the different components of a drink, and you can create your own formula by choosing different ingredients (but you don’t actually make the product). This is a clever way for Coke to do product testing by getting a sense of what people are interested in. You can get close to the vault where the Coke formula is kept. There is a game where you try to guess different items that are often used in Coke products by scent, alone. Everyone enjoys the tasting room where you can try a huge range of Coke products from around the world. Some are great and others, like the sour cherry drink from China, wouldn’t make it in the US market. You end up having a stomachache from trying too many products. You get spit out into the Coke gift shop which sells every product known to man so that you can be a walking Coke advertisement.

Spend your time and money elsewhere

There is really not much to see or do for the price you pay to enter this place. Yes, the staff tells you some history about Coca Cola but that’s it. The tasting room is really nothing to taste, all so artificially flavored and taste all bad. Save your self the time and money on something else.

Lot's of fun, but falls just short of a must

By Valleyblue |

It almost seems like a requirement to visit the World of Coca-Cola if you're visiting Atlanta and it is a fun and worthwhile stop. It's well organized and gives a very good history of the product and the people who got this iconic beverage going. There's plenty to do, lots of interactive exhibits and of course the tasting room. While you learn a lot about the history, I would have liked to have seen more about its production.

While it seems like a requirement, and I do recommend it, I actually can't put it in the "must see" category. It's fun, it's worth the price of admission, but there are better things to do and if you're short on time, this is something that can wait until the next trip.

A fun museum for the whole family! We were there on Mother’s Day & it was extremely busy but it didn’t hinder the experience at all. Be sure to try all the drinks in the tasting room!

Worth a visit!

By GS |

Even though it was crowded, the lines moved fast and the variety of attractions was great. Movies, labs, tastings...very engaging and entertaining. Well worth the Coke belly ache!

Such a great showcase of the world of coke

By Linda |

Since I bought my ticket in advance I had it loaded on my phone wallet. We walked right in and had a great first impression with a gentleman that did the world if coke intro.
History of coke was great and loved tasting coke from all over the world.

This is a MUST in Atlanta

By Lia H |

We debated whether to go in or not, and after a few minutes we got our tickets and went in. Remember this is the happiest place on earth, and you come out feeling so wonderful. It is so perfect, and fun, and cool, and awesome!!! dont miss it!!!

Recommend despite some faults.

By Shelly A |

Positive: Adults & children seemed to be equally engaged & entertained. There were tons of memorabilia & old signs. The history of/in Atlanta exhibit was excellent. Seeing the vault was an unexpected surprise. The smelling quiz game was fun. The best was the tasting room, I tasted everything that was non-US. There were many, but only three that I really liked. It was very interesting. The gift store was extensive & looked to be accessible without having to go through the tour.

Negative: The intro film was only mildly relevant. The historical exhibition needs revamping: the hallways were too narrow & the audio narration volume was too low to even notice. Even if nobody were talking, you could barely hear it. The Lab exhibition was kind of lame & a little confusing.

All in all, I recommend it.

Don’t waste your money!!!

By Jamie Cane |

$54 for two adults which is extortionate given the experience. Lots of queuing, a 6 minute ‘people’s true stories with coke’ presentation which fake, cringeworthy and essentially an advert all followed by a quick and mediocre museum and gift shop. Save your money on this attraction and spend it on the amazing Georgia aquarium which is opposite.

The tastings made it worthwhile

By Cyndy B |

This is my 3rd visit to the World of Coca Cola, but first time to the current location. Lots of cool memorabilia to see, but some of the exhibits were horribly packed and hard to get through and one or two exhibits were not running. However, being able to have New Coke and Tab again made it worthwhile. The tasting room is the best. Stay away from the Chinese and Italian sodas. Those are gross! My son enjoyed all of the Fanta flavors.

By KPNuts |

Staff at the Coca Cola experience were enthusiastic & interesting

It was a good tour hearing about how coca cola was created & how the company started. Good to hear of the companies success & of the other companies it bought & how they research & create new drinks

It was fun playing the sniffing games & tasting the different Coca Cola sodas etc

The shop was brilliant but the prices are exorbitant

The restroom outside the Coca Cola area & the aquarium area are stinking
only 2/3 had locks there was no toilet roll No hooks to hang bags

It’s got Electrolytes

By Mark0001 |

Have you ever seen Idiocracy? I walked in one room where the floors were sticky and parents were paying for bigger cups for their kids to guzzle the free soda….and it reminded me of Brawndo conquering the world in that movie. There isn’t much to learn here. You don’t see them bottling anything. It isn’t a museum. As I watched people take turns pouring glucose into their bodies, I felt a little shame and eventually resignation that I live in a slowly forming Idiocracy. At the moment, 88 percent of Americans have some form of insulin resistance. Check your fasting insulin level, not your glucose level. The pancreas adjusts until it can’t anymore. There is sugar in bread now. We are being poisoned.

Fun and educational, the 8 year old loved meeting the polar bear and trying sodas from all over the world. I loved the vintage ads and history. Beautiful across from Centennial Park!

Only if you want to taste 200 flavors of coke

By VikasBhansail |

If you are a coke lover, this is THE place for you. Not only you can try over 200 flavors of coke, but you can also make your own flavor. As I visited on a Sunday, it was bit crowded and getting your own flavor was a tough job. They also have gallery where almost all type of coke bottles and caps are kept. To be honest for me tasing those 200 flavors was the highlight rest all felt bit of marketing. Some of those flavors were so unique that I would never want to taste them again :). Merchandise shop was great, and you can almost get everything with a coke branding.

Lot’s of artifacts and bit dated.

By Travelprof |

Check in was kind of exciting but after that all was looking bit tired and dated. It felt as if the employees were also not enjoying themselves. The movie areas were really dated as well as the quality of the films itself. The Polar bear photo area was especially disappointing due to very moody staff. The entire set up is large and specious but not exciting. I still like to drink Coca Cola by the way😉😎

By K R |

Booking was extremely easy! The Word of Coke Cola is AWSOME!! Very interactive. Best if you can do the self tour. The information indicates you need about two hours to see everything, bu you could easily spend 3-4 hours. Great gift shop😊😊 . Another suggestion is go early, the earlier the better. Good chance of avoiding super crowds.
You will absolutely love this attraction. 😊😊😊

Enjoyed a nice break from Las Vegas

By Jay |

Nice store. Friendly people, Caffeine Free Diet Coke!
Lots of Coke merchandise, including about 5000 (lol) bottle openers money needs!

Overrated

By Martin R |

Overrated - The best part is to taste some of the drinks around the world, but long lines to see mostly merchandise of the company.

Coca Coka tour

By neliatiti54 |

It was nice 😊 to see the story of coca cola a long time soda that still favorite among many Verity interesting place

Not that great

By Nicole L |

Personally didn’t think it was worth the 25.00 person. You first go to a short history lecture. Then have to sit thru a 6 min video to even get into it. It was part of CityPASS so we did it after the aquarium but we were done in like 20 min with it.

If you drink the same amount of Coca-Cola as the price.

By Hyeyeon Ok |

Right on the way out of the second floor, the Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola group drinks are free, so the staff are very friendly and nice.

By Mandy L |

This was a fun place to go with the City Pass ticket. We spent a few hours here and enjoyed sampling flavors of soda from around the world. The kids had a great time!

By Misty |

My family loves to visit world of Coke. My 4 year old really enjoys the taste station and smell stations. You can usually cover this place within an hour or 2. But plan for crowds it is usually crowded. You can pay online and skip the ticket line which is best.

By DRL615 |

Guided tour made this much more meaningful and more efficient, the entire experience went so smoothly and helped us make the most of our time there. It’s Coke so they’ve don’t a great job with it all. Worth a visit.

Fun time and must stop!

By PH |

Buy your ticket online and it'll save you tons of time! There are 7 exhibits, some are new and some been there for years. It's fun either way, you navigate around at your own pace. But if you want a pic w/ the Polar Bear, it's upstairs by the 4D theatre.

By Louis F |

Cool experience albeit touristy but definitely worth checking out. The highlight is the hundred or so flavors you can try and all the free samples.

Coke the Spark from your trip.

By RICARDO H |

A cozy place with all the history of the fantastic drink. How introduction move the fiber with a short footage that tears you out. From there all kinds of experiences emerge. Amazing how many flavors there are around the world, some will surprise you for being unpleasant to your particular palate... but finally between tastes... there are no dislikes...
We recommend doing in one day Aquarius, Coca Cola and the Museum of Civil Rights, in that order.

Great experience!

By Teenage taster (Almost) |

It was a great experience for everyone - Three adults, A six year old, A nine year old and me. There was a lot to do including the intro - a video - the vault with the secret formula for Coca Cola - you can't see it of course. There was also a smelling area with a fun game that we all enjoyed and an area where you meet the Coke Polar Bear. The only issues were that there were a lot of people and queues meaning it was very hot and took a long time to get everyone around the museum. Also the floors in the tasting rooms were very sticky but that's my only complaints. Overall a great experience!
