Old school style ball park

By L P |

Stadium was very clean. Staff pleasant. Very old-school traditional type ball park… not any diversionary side entertainment like some places have. No parking nearby so take the Red Line. Or walk a bit.

Always a pleasure coming!

By JustAAdventurer |

This is definitely a great place to come! Always a pleasure coming here to watch the Cubs. Food may be a little pricy, sometimes, too. Lines can be long. I’d say you usually park ahout a half mile away, if not more, but it’s great considering how many people are at those games.

Giant’s Cub’s game!

By Patty T |

Watched the Giant’s Cub’s game. Loved Wrigley Field, even though we lost! A great experience, non the less. Thank you Chicago!

Great tour even if you’re not a baseball fan

By Sally G |

Tour guide James & Elizabeth were great. Very passionate about stadium & it’s history. You get time by pitch , on bleachers, press box and dug out. Lots of time to take photos.
We took the train out to Addison to get there ( right by stadium).

Great for fans of baseball and those who are not.

By Joe M |

Staff is friendly. You may learn something even if you think you know it all. Fun, great views. Worth the trip to Chicago.

Always an enjoyable field.

By 77Topher |

Still the friendliest in the major leagues. Though it's been modernized quite a bit, it's character is much better than your average over-commercialized stadium. Early day games are generally better to take kids than evening games.

Watch Cubs play in Chicago, home of the game

By Kimitaka Sho |

Since I came all the way to Chicago, I watched the Cubs play at home. The ticket was purchased from a mobile app, and the initial download was a bit of a hassle, but I managed to secure a seat. Due to the weak yen, food and drink in the stadium was expensive, but he decided not to come every day. Unfortunately, the Cubs lost, but watching the game at the stadium was a good memory.

What a temple!

By Andrea Mason |

The temple! Now to drag my poor Cardinal fan of a husband here and watch him faint!! Much better than Busch in STL. Will be back.

History of baseball.

By Mark T |

This is an old stadium. But everything was clean. The restrooms and seats were new.The stadium was huge. When I was in Fenway, Boston, I thought Fenway was small. But Wrigley was big.It was a Tuesday night after Labor day.I could see a lot of people.Windy City really love Cubs.If you are a baseball fan, Wrigley is a must-visit.

Don't Miss Seeing the Cubs...Even if you don't care about baseball!

By Julie Ann C |

We were Bleacher Bums for a day and it was an incredible experience. I don't even like baseball and I had a fantastic time. The fans are extremely passionate and the bleacher experience is kind of like Animal House meets Bull Durham. The fans busied themselves by making beer cup snakes and yelling at other fans when the opposing team hit a ball into the stands..."Throw it back" or take the consequences. The best part was when the Cubs won and the whole stadium sang, "Go Cubs Go."

We also took the tour before the game. It was good to hear some Wrigley Field and Cubs facts. It was nice to go down to the field but there was no behind-the-scenes peaks, which was a little disappointing. Overall, the game is a must-see, the tour is fine if you have $30 to spare.

Awesome stadium!

By dcjones2016 |

Great atmosphere, not a bad seat in the house, and a great selection of beers just to name a few of things that make Wrigley such a memorable experience.

Don't go in stormy weather

By austin m |

It was okay, good food and ice cream, but I wouldn't recommend going during a stormy day, as my family got stuck in a tornado warning

Go, Cubs, Go!!

By Andrew W |

If you love baseball, if you love history, and if you've never been to a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field, you owe it to yourself! There's something to be said about the atmosphere, eating a Chicago Dog and box of Cracker Jacks, and cheering on the best baseball team in the MLB! I have nothing but great things to say about the security, food staff and everybody in between. Go, Cubs, Go!!

Fun Experience!

By joyce b |

First time at Wrigley stadium for a Cubs game! Great vibe and it was really cool to walk around Wrigleyville before the game. We took the train which was super convenient cause taking an Uber would have been uber-expensive! The train station is right next to the stadium.

So much fun for a non baseball fan!

By CassieBonderson |

My husband and I went to a Cubs game during our visit to Chicago. It was fantastic. The areas around the field were filled with fun and then once you enter the field it is beautiful and historic. It really brings you back to the early days of baseball! I am not a huge baseball fan, but I lived my experience here. I believe we will be back one day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chicago!

Another great visit to Wrigley Field!

By Brian M |

We have young kids and had a blast sitting in the bleachers in Right Field! I’ve been to 60%+ of the MLB ballparks and nothing comes close to the experience of Wrigley!

Baseball For Purists

By Henry’s Take |

Stadium Tour (Wrigley Field), Part 1
And this…is baseball, for baseball purists like myself. Wrigley Field is known by many as the “friendly confines” and each time that I visit I’m struck by just how small and almost intimate that it feels. While its dimensions are similar to other ballparks, it somehow just doesn’t feel that way. We had the good fortune of sitting fairly close to the action and found the height disparity amongst some of the players quite surprising. 🤯

With perhaps an unintended meaning, I was also surprised just how “friendly” these confines can be after observing Cubs and Reds fans actively mingling (scroll through the pics). 😉

A truly great place to watch a game no matter who you’re rooting for, the lights just seem brighter here. So much so that I can’t imagine what postseason baseball must be like here (sadly, most Cubs fans wonder the same thing). 😳

I was told by @1ehernandez that the best Chicago dog he’s ever had was at Wrigley and I’d have to agree with him!

A special thank you to the gentleman who gloriously photo bombed our Review Team after the game! 🤣

And that’s…Henry’s Take.

Beautiful Stadium

By inekesg |

We loved the tour and great experience to sit in the dugout, guest rooms. The history told was very interesting!

Very beautiful stadium

By Wayne S |

Very beautiful stadium, the atmosphere was not fantastic because the Cups would lose. Discover even if you don't know the rules of baseball

My experience with Mrs. Sutter

By Taylor B |

I've never visited the other acknowledged cathedrals of major league baseball, Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park. But I've been to Wrigley Field. Sometime during their lifetime, everybody should spend a day in Ernie Banks' beloved "Friendly Confines." Located at 1060 West Addison Street, at Clark at Addison, in what has become known as the Wrigleyville neighborhood, it has become one of Chicago's most popular tourist attractions--if you can get a ticket. It is known for its Ivy-covered brick outfield walls, iconic red marquee over the main entrance, hand-turned scoreboard, rooftop views from beyond the outfield, no parking lots, wind off Lake Michigan, no night games until 1988, the Bleacher Bums and devoted fans who waited for 71 years to celebrate a National League pennant and 108 years to win a World Series. It opened in 1914 as Weeghman Park for the Chicago Whales of the Federal League, which folded after the 1915 season. The Cubs played their first game at the park on April 20, 1916. Chewing gum magnate William Wrigley Jr. acquired the Cubs in 1921. It was Cubs Park from 1920 to 1926, then renamed Wrigley Field in 1927. It is the oldest park in the National League, the second oldest in major league baseball after Fenway Park in Boston. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2020. I have many fond memories of Wrigley Field, which is bordered on the north by Waveland, on the east by Sheffield, on the west by Clark and on the south by Addison. Best advice: To get there, take the Clark Street bus from the Loop. I've watched games from the left field bleachers, from the upper deck looking down the third base line, from front row seats behind the Cubs' dugout, from behind seats directly behind home plate and from the grandstand behind home plate. In the 1960s, when a reporter for the Champaign-Urbana Courier, I watched a game from the old pressbox along the third base line. And I interviewed one-time White Sox pitching star Billy Pierce, then a member of the San Francisco Giants, in the first base dugout. In 1961, a college friend and I watched a Cubs/Dodgers doubleheader at Wrigley in the afternoon, then drove to the South Side to old Comiskey Park to watch a White Sox/Indians doubleheader at night. While watching a game from a seat behind home plate in the late 1970s, I observed Cubs pitcher Bruce Sutter's wife changing her child's diaper on the seats in front of me. When working for the Chicago Daily News and Chicago Sun-Times from 1968 to 2001, I covered several Chicago Public League baseball championship games at Wrigley Field and witnessed Phillips' Larry Murray hitting a home run into the left field bleachers. I remember standing on the pitcher's mound that Sandy Koufax and Bob Gibson once stood on and sitting in the same dugout that Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig once sat in and standing in the batter's box that Rogers Hornsby and Stan Musial once stood in. So many memories. I wonder if Mrs. Sutter ever has revisited the site.

One of the best stadiums

By ehR9249GN |

2nd time going, it is a cathedral to baseball. Along with Fenway, it's like traveling back in time. The friendly confines lives up to its nickname.

Baseball

By Oak |

Very inconvenient prices. Views are not all that great. Brat prices are way above average. Bathrooms are way too far apart.

Wrigley Did Not Disappoint!

By Jomomma8 |

I've always wanted to visit Wrigley field and I finally got my wish! We have been to many different ballparks but I must say that Wrigley is definitely one of the friendliest around! It's a great feeling to walk around outside the ballpark before the game and you can feel the excitement! We loved our visit and hope to return someday!

Fun Tour

By Cindy R |

We were here in Dec. to see a Bears game and had sometime so we decided to go on a guided tour of Wrigley Field and it was excellent. I have been to several games there and knew some history but this was a real treat
We went all over the place and ended up in the dugout. I would suggest this if your a baseball fan or just a fan of history

Overrated

By Brent D |

This stadium is a DUMP. The stadium is deteorating and super overpriced. The only thing good there is the Ivey on the fence.

Great Field

By J Tusky |

Wrigleyville was great. FRIENDLY people everywhere. Field is legendary. However, needs way more room underneath(like Fenway). Humm? The seater was not nice to me. I can see Winckowski's point about it being "stock standard." The extreme security(I get that) with their secret service look lessened the atmosphere. No smiles or conversations. Boo. Maybe should have had bleacher seats. I wouldn't call it underwhelming, but I would say MLB has their cooperate systems that make Wrigley more like other parks. Well... it's a Major League baseball game. I enjoyed Camden, Fenway, Oracle(now) and Wrigley all about the same. Fenway a little more. ( ;

NO AUTOGRAPHS

By Climber55880961598 |

If you are trying to come to Wrigley Field and try to get a signature don’t try.I am a 11 year old with a 8 year old brother and got yelled at to leave because I tried to get signatures. Also adults can’t because if you are a kid you could get allowed on the field to get signatures and get kicked out in 5 minutes and can’t get any. Good stadium just can’t get signatures.

Historic Baseball Stadium

By TYPSUKR |

Attended a Tuesday night baseball game in August. We sat in the lower-left field seats. This stadium is one of oldest in the entire league, and dates back to a much earlier era of stadium design. As such, you are very close to the action, and it has a very intimate feel to it. We also enjoyed the fact that unlike most other stadiums, Wrigley Field is surrounded by neighborhoods. The environment inside the stadium was nice as well, as a good amount of Cubs fans turned out, even though the game wasn't terribly consequential for the standings. We had a good experience at one of the landmark sports fields in American.

Great ballpark

By Tracy F |

Great ballpark with amazing amenities. Love the energy even if you are not a local fan. Visit a local nearby pub/bar they the ambiance is great.

A must

By JN |

A must if you are in Chicago. Even better if they are playing. Glorious if they win. Food is adequate and place is comfortable.

Wonderful experience

By mattpgab |

The neighborhood was electric on a recent Sunday game day. The stadium is gorgeous, clean, easy to get to and to navigate. The park has good food and beverage options at reasonable prices (compared to Fenway). We sat in section 113 which offered great perspectives from between home plate and the home dugout. No fly balls came our way and the Brewers prevailed, but we had a blast. Go Cubs!

Fun and educational

By Maggie Moreno |

5/5
Highly recommend. We had a wonderful time during our tour and learned a lot on the field's history!
Keep up the great job!!

Bucket List Check Off

By Trip762209 |

What a fun place! The stadium was packed because it was the last of 5 bobblehead giveaway games. Everyone we talked so was so friendly, giving us things to do before we left town. These old stadiums are something special! This stadium was everything my Husband had expected it to be...great place! Took the train there from downtown to get a little more of the big city feel! Perfect day!

I always wanted to check out this iconic stadium!

By TennisStar602 |

My family and I saw the Washington Nationals play the Chicago Cubs on a Thursday night in September. It was great to see the historical marquee in front of Wrigley Field. This stadium was well-occupied, but it was not too packed. This neighborhood was very busy with many fans who visited a plethora of nearby bars, stores, and restaurants. We felt safe when we walked around this area, and there was a large police presence. It was difficult to park within this area, and these parking garages were very pricey. We had to buy our tickets from the “Ballpark” app, and when we had some technical difficulties, Alex was super helpful to us. Alex got us the cheapest seats with the best views, and he was extremely patient and informative. There were stairs and elevators within this stadium, and the staff was very friendly. I thought that the metal detector system was not the most thorough. Although we did not buy food, drinks, nor merchandise, all of these items were available for sale. There was a pole which was a small obstruction of our views of this ballpark, but we still got to see the game, and we admired the ivy walls, the adjacent apartment buildings with bleachers, and the Chicago Skyline. There were many interesting chants and displays. It was a great game with a lot of competition which left the fans with much suspense until the Cubs finally won the game!

Great ballpark to take in a game.

By BrenJ2012 |

Park is well maintained with plenty of pre and post game bars/restaurants situated around the stadium.

Amazing History

By Saronda B |

Wow. There is so much history in this stadium. I am currently traveling all the stadiums and this one just went to the top of my list as a favorite. Its beautiful and our tour guide was great.

Bucket list

By John T |

A bucket list thing to do for myself was attend a cubs game at Wrigley Field. The energy here and the crowd made it alot of fun.

Best ballpark in the country!

By ua1flyer |

As an avid baseball fan who has been to over 20 cities to watch Major League Baseball, There is no better place to watch a baseball game than Wrigley Field and that includes Fenway! Wrigley like Fenway are the only 2 “ballparks” left, everything else are stadiums. Wrigleyville ,the area surrounding the park are loaded with fun bars and restaurants. It’s a Must to go early before the game and maybe afterwards to experience the area. Inside it’s a great intimate ballpark. Box seats are my preference and on most days, you can get tickets at a reduced price on StubHub hours before the game starts. Plenty of tasty food options, The bleachers especially on a hot day is a less expensive but most times a more fun experience. If you are driving ,parking is not only expensive, but sometimes hard to find, so go online and buy a guaranteed parking spot in advance. I recommend the Toyota lot. Many people staying downtown take the train, easy to get there ,cheap and drops you off 1 block from the park! Safe neighborhood and family friendly.

Great!

By Jessica |

I've always wanted to see Wrigley Field in all it's glory, I finally did and it was great! Only let downs were expensive pricing of seats, food, and any souvenirs.

Decent Entertainment

By ken k |

Came snd saw a Cubs game, we got tickets the night before game. The ticket prices were decent. The view was good. Easy in and out especially the ramps. Plenty of bathrooms. Block from train station. Good and drink prices ridiculous, $12 for a hot chocolate. You can bring in unopened drinks and food. We bought waters and nuts outside yo avoid the extremely over priced items inside.

Lovely, historical ball park

By LoveMyFoodGirl1 |

We went on a weeknight and it was packed!

Driving near the field - expect traffic.

We paid for parking, so it was not a bad experience.

Food was ballpark food and prices to match.

The field is lovely at night, no bad seats. Also, quite accessible, wherever you sit. The crowds were good, nice flow entering and exiting the ballpark.

Be sure to grab a photo of the sign.

What's new at Wrigley Field?

By Taylor B |

How many major league baseball teams conducted a promotional giveaway for 30,000 fans on opening day? Only the Chicago Cubs. It appears it will be another exciting season for fans who flock to the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field at Clark and Addison. In preparation, the Cubs have made some changes. Oh, the ivy and brick walls and iconic scoreboard and left-field bleachers are still in place. And vendors still are hawking old favorites such as Chicago-style hot dogs, Home Run Inn pizza, Garret's popcorn, Vienna beef, nachos and pretzels. No, they haven't built a parking garage. And the concessions don't compare to the Chicago White Sox's Rate Field. But Cubs fans aren't complaining. New items on the ballpark menu include short rib sliders, ranch bombs, puffy tacos, dill pickle tater tots, chili lime fries, roast beef jiberitos, smoked prime rib sandwich, Kimichi burger, baseball-shaped doughnuts, New England lobster roll, chicken and waffles and sticky pork bao buns. There are changes to the infrastructure, too. There is a new roof covering the upper deck, replacing a structure that date to the 1920s. Fans are welcome to visit the Yard, the new outdoor rental space located above the batter's eye in center field. At some point, the Cubs will be wearing a new Blues alternate uniform. And the Bleacher Suite, the largest private suite inside Wrigley Field, received a makeover during the offseason with upgraded seating and a new, refreshed look. That, along with new faces in the lineup, more runs and a lockdown bullpen, should make for a very enjoyable 2025 season for Cubs fans. Hey, the Cubs have won four games in a row. Is this going to be 2016 all over again?

evening baseball game

By Perry L G |

Good ball game for early evening for 2 couples. Lots of time to be social and have fun watching game. Also had great weather to be outdoors. Always good refreshments & food for the food cravings.

Finally! Baseball in Wrigley

By ArtPhemister |

As a life long St. Louis Cardinal fan, I have always admired Cub fans. Obviously seeing a game at Wrigley was on my bucket list. Finally my wife and I visited Wrigley right before the Cubs traded their bas away. The Cubs played the Cincinnati Reds. Mostly, I was there to see the historic Wrigley Field and it did not disappoint. If you in Chicago during the summer and the Cubs are at home, take the red lineto Addison, walk two blocks and see history.

The Best Ballpark!

By alexchicago1 |

Wrigley Field is an iconic must do while in Chicago! The bleachers are the most fun seats in my opinion! The best vibes, food and drinks in baseball. With bleacher tickets you are able to walk the main concourse as well to scope the food and shopping around the entire ball park.
If you’re lucky enough or want to spend the dough, the 1914 Club is also incredible! All inclusive tickets take you to an underground bar with loads of buffet foods, carving stations, pizza, dogs, peanuts, amazing cocktails and a dessert bar!
GO CUBS GO!

Fun & Friendly Ball Park

By JillClardy |

Several years ago we decided to start going to at least one SF Giants "away" game each year; then the pandemic happened. Now that vaccination rates are increasing, we decided at the last minute to fly to Chicago to see the Giants beat the Cubs. We took the El from a stop near our hotel and walked right into the stadium. The gate and seat attendants and food vendors were friendly and helpful. We had great seats in the 18th row behind home plate, and were very happy with the visibility of the field. I was a bit disappointed in the premium beer choices - Modelo is not a "premium" beer - and several other choices were sold out. There were plenty of food choices, and the restrooms were clean. Best of all, the Giants won!

I mean, it’s Wrigley Field!

By Jason |

Do I even need to write a review……. It’s Wrigley Field. If you have a chance to go, please, go. Such an iconic field. Almost get chills walking in as all the greats have played there at some time or another. The history alone is worth the trip. Do not do yourself a disservice by not going. Tickets are typically cheap, I paid $28 for pretty great seats. If you ever been a fan of baseball, this is the holy grail.

Marlins vs Cubs 08 / 06/22

By raybyerley |

We started our family vacation with a Cubs game at Wrigley. Two pictures outside the stadium are attached

Unfortunately it was a delayed start because of rain.
Pictures of the tarp with rain and tarp being removed , and at the game start are attached.

The sun came out in the 9th inning, but it was already too late for the cubs after giving up all 3 Marlin runs in the 5th inning and only having 2 hits of their own.

We did get all 9 innings!!

It was a must do baseball lover’s experience

A field so nice

By Nathan S |

I had to visit it twice, big Cubs fan here got to Wrigley for the first time to see a night game for my birthday and loved it. As a matter of fact I enjoyed it so much we also decided to hit a day game the next day. The stadium seemed clean, had nice shops to get your cubs gear and plenty of stores and bars around the outside in Wrigleyville as well. It truly is a destination ballpark that you should visit if you have the chance.

A classic in Chicago

By Leandro S |

Even if you are not a baseball fan, going to Chicago and enjoying the historic Baseball stadium where the cubs play is a must do. Get a Chicago dog, a couple beers and enjoying the game.

You can’t miss Wrigley Field….

By Woody16 |

A lovely 90 mins or so spent going all around the Field, dug outs, press boxes, bleechers , learning the history of the place. Lots of photo opportunities…even by the famous Ivy!! A definite must for any baseball fan or for anyone who enjoys going round stadiums.

Cubs fans tolerate visitors with class in a great venue.

By Buster J |

A wonderful place for an out of town visitor to experience baseball. Cubs fans are tolerant of visitor’s supporters in spite of the game outcome. And they are very enthusiastic supporters of the home team without being obnoxious.

A family friendly venue.

Great historical ball park

By Wayne J |

It is always a pleasure to relive my youth and go to Wrigley Field. The old style scoreboard and the vineson the walls just add to time past.

Wrigley Field Family Friendly, Fun and Neil in Section 216

By Moira F |

Have been a Cubs fan since the 80’s. moved from out east. While I can’t agree 100% with the Rickett’s changes; change is hard. And I understand that they are in it for a profitable enterprise. What I do like, and I have been to many venues, bravo bravo on the family friendly environment. Our son is older now, but I would be very comfortable bringing my son here given the culture in the park. The other part , I don’t know their title, but the aisle attendants, many of who are retired guys who love Wrigley. We have met MANY and today the ultimate kudos goes to behind home plate Neil in Section 216. Unbelievable. Nice guy! I will buy tickets again there because of him.

Very entertaining

By Di V |

Did a tour of the ground and it was both instructive and entertains. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thanks to the two gentlemen who took the tour for us

Great atmosphere

By Melissa |

I love watching Baseball here. The fans make the atmosphere and the game so much more exciting. Love it!

So fun!

By Jana T |

I’m not a sports fan and I still enjoyed going. This venue is beautiful and iconic. It’s a must see for anyone in Chicago.

Great to finally see a game in person

By EdRockster |

Great facility. Great team. As expected, expensive food and drinks. Maybe too many options. Popcorn surprisingly hard to find. Chicago hotdogs and Coke Zero, too.

Probably the best deal, at 23 bucks, the helmet of nachos. Surprisingly huge and surprisingly tasty. Four people shared them , and each ate their fill.

Ramps cut the need for most steps to sections. Aisles between sections, pretty steep for seniors and injured folks.

Would have been better if the Cubs had won. 😉

Cubs cliffhanger win @bottom of the 9th!

By Debra K |

Love this stadium--it was our first time visiting and we lucked out going to a game. What a team! Also, found really nice items in the team store.

Cubbies game

By Randall |

This is stadium number 7 for me. I love this ballpark from a design perspective. It’s kinda like an underground city where all the food is. Then you climb stairs to get to your seats. We sat in section 112 which was nice and shaded from the sun for a 120pm start time. Food was good, not as many options as some other games I’ve been to but taste of food was great unlike the twins ballpark food. This is a ballpark I highly recommend. Plus it’s historical. Cubs lost to the cardinals 3-0 but still a great day.

One of the great old ballparks!

By sharrongeg |

First time here - and was very impressed. Built in 1914, this ballpark was surprisingly well designed and been keep up nicely. Although stairs are steep, I felt comfortable going both up and down at 61 years of age.

Bathrooms and grounds very clean.

Suggestion……have your Uber/Lyft drop you off 8 blocks from the field then walk.

AMAZING experience!

By Alison D |

AMAZING experience! Easy to access, ushers were so fun and helpful, vendors were great too! Lots to see and do! Our seats were fantastic but not expensive. Concessions are expensive, but that's true everywhere! I still just can't believe how nice everyone was -class act!!

Part of History

We went to a game and it really is a nostalgic place, and just fun to go to. The area outside is fun to walk around, also.

Lifelong Cardinal Fan Enjoys Friendly Confines

By Jeramie |

As an Ultra Cardinal Fan, I’ve always had a deep “hatred” for the Cubs. However, I must say, Wrigley Field was an awesome experience! I found it to truly be the “Friendly Confines”.

Baseball heaven

By 709EAH |

Loves spending time and watching a game at this beautifully designed field right in the city. Loved the old time organ and the architecture and the game was great as well

Bleachers suck

By Denise |

Maybe it’s because we just opened things up after being locked away for a year of Covid closure. But fans are extra obnoxious, entitled, and annoying. If you actually want to be able to sit down and enjoy the game, forget about it in the bleachers. There are absolutely not enough seats to fit all the people. So you’re spending all this money to stand and hope you can even get a glimpse of the game from where you stand. The few seats that you find open are guarded by peoples feet claiming they are saving it for someone that is coming back but isn’t seen for a hot minute. Not to mention the amount of people that won’t move over because the small spaces next to them is there to hold their beer. When you ask the staff in blue they say to speak to the staff in red bu the seating area to help you find a seat but there’s no way in hell these people will move or do anything other than yell at people from their spot, to sit down when they stand up for a minute, and dismiss you to another area which will of course be full because they’ve just overbooked. Absolute worst stadium I’ve ever been to. Will take the Sox stadium over the Cubs stadium any day it’s just so much nicer.

Amazing!

By stellar20 |

A must do if you’re in Chicago! Very nice tour, you begin by lining up and checking in right in the front entrance. Tour group consisted of maybe 35 people. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny, I believe his name was Clay. He was young but knowledgeable.
Took us to all the hot spots at a stadium; I have been to a few baseball stadium tours and they’re all similar. There were actually 2 tour guides and they both had no problems and even offered to take pics of you with your phone.

When you take pics in front of the famous ivy, they make sure you DO NOT touch it haha! You can’t even take a piece of the ivy if it is on the ground. It’s the same ivy that was originally planted so it’s sacred. They take you to the press box, behind home plate in the seats, visitors dugout and visitors locker room. The locker room is very small, one of the smallest I have ever been in but they’ll tell you all about that.

There are a ton of restaurants near/around the stadium. An Uber from downtown Chicago to the stadium cost us maybe $9.

The best

By Don P |

Wrigley is the second oldest, but the best baseball stadium experience in the world! Add to the visual, the neighborhood and some (usually!) good major league baseball and you have a very good family outing. The walk from the Versey Days INN to the park is always interesting!

Food Review
Best place to buy water is outside the Park from any street vendor for $2…
Hot dogs are excellent…$5.75…And by Hot Dog…I mean a Chicago Dog…Also, never ever ask for Ketchup…Beers are outrageously priced…Have a beer at Murphy Bleachers …Italian Beef at Wrigley..don’t do it..better places to buy…Portillo Al’s Mr.Beef…10 other places in the Burbs…Pizza..Lou Malnatis or it’s a hard pass…Burgers…ordering tip…never ask for well done…the burger will be heavily charred…T shirts…best place is Sportsworld..Also, you can get a cool T-shirt at the Fire Station across the street…Kids love the place…Have Fun at the best baseball stadium in the country

Great ballpark

By Kevin B |

My wife and I are Yankees fans, but we're also baseball fans in general and we've been making our way to all of the MLB ballparks (this was 14/30). Wrigley has always been our most anticipated ballpark given its history and we were not disappointed. The ballpark is amazing and they've been able to renovate and keep it modernized while keeping all the classic elements of the ballpark. Our seats were comfortable and our view was great and the food and drink selection was very good as well. It's in a great part of town and it was just a pleasure to see a ballgame here. We'd 100% come back for a Cubs game whenever we're in town!

Amazing atmosphere, cheap seats, food is decent but be aware of expensive drinks! Seating is amazing!

By DANIELANICOLE87 |

Amazing atmosphere! Best game I’ve been too. Arrive three hours early to eat and drink at the near by restaurants. Drinks are super expensive though and hot dogs r small so try to eat not at the Field. Super clean stadium as well.

Wrigley Field - July 4th, 2024 - Cubbies hosting the Phillies.

By fredyt3 |

Wrigley Field is a great ballpark. It is over 100 years old and located on the north side of Chicago. I attended the game on July 4th between the Cubs and the Phillies. The Cubs snapped a two game losing streak and won the last game of the series.

The venue is very easy to access. I took the red line from downtown and my day pass was $5. Because the stadium is small, with regards to capacity, you are faced with a supply/demand proposition. They do have SRO (standing room only) but I wanted to sit so my seat was $85, which is pretty steep for a team in last place of their division.

Concessions are good. But..........most of the concession stands are located on the field level so at best you might find some beverage stands as you go further up. I was in section 226.

There is a log going on outside the stadium as there are tons of restaurants/bars and things to do while waiting for the game to start or after the game.

Wrigley offers a good experience and they do a good job in maintaining the tradition of one of the oldest parks in the USA.

On a side note, even though the Phillies are not in their division, I guess there is a rivalry of sorts???? Of the attendance I saw, I would say at least 20-30% were Phillie's fan based on the jerseys/shirts/caps, etc.

You're Missing Out

By Maya D |

This is a bucket-list item that if not already on yours, needs to be there! The community of this neighborhood really spreads throughout the city! The HIGHLIGHT of our trip was right here in Wrigleyville! Chicago comes together from ages 0-106 to celebrate wins and spend the best couple hours of their lives together! The food is great and the vibe is amazing! GO CUBS

Baseball fans delight

By ktkadish |

Ruben and John guided us on through the friendly confines. Stories were shared on the park's history, team's trials and successes, and memories of players and games over the years. Stops included the Cubs dugout, but we missed the chance to get close to the outfield ivy due to a private event on the field. Our group had nearly 50 people, making it hard to hear the full story if we weren't near the front of the group. Despite that, it was one of the better ballpark tours I've been on over the years.

Iconic baseball park.

By berniek1949 |

We were lucky enough to be in Chicago when the Cubs were playing. One of the oldest baseball parks in the USA.Got to view a great game and enjoy a hot dog and beer.

Family fun, small seats

By Ricky M |

Great old stadium. Some restricted views, so plan & study accordingly. Seats are very small. If you’re a bigger person, is not comfortable

AMAZING!

By Melissa |

We took in the first game of opening season! Such an amazing experience. I've always seen the field on TV but seeing the field in person was AMAZING! We had great seats and they did a wonderful job social distancing. Definitely enjoyed a Chicago Dog while there!

More entertainment than baseball

By Jean S |

The facelift that continues at Wrigley Field and throughout the neighborhood continues. Plenty to do, but very pricey. Most likely out of the range for families with children now. Sad, because they would enjoy it.

Incredible stadium!

By Joy B |

After having visited Fenway Park several years ago, we thought it’d be fun to see Wrigley Field! It did not disappoint! The food, the fans, the atmosphere...everything was awesome! This is truly one of the most magical and memorable moments we’ve ever had at a baseball park! Getting around the stadium was a bit confusing but we finally figured it out! Be sure to get a Chicago style hotdog and Garret’s mix popcorn! Both were amazing! And do the Ivy Tour!! Even if you aren’t a Cubs’ fan, you will love the tour! Truly a special place!!! I hope they never tear it down so that generations to come can enjoy this amazing stadium!

Mecca Of Baseball

You can not beat Wrigley Field. It is amazing for all baseball fans! The atmosphere makes you feel like you are living in the 1930’s. I love it. Please go!

Mad day out -Go the CUBS!

By The Baggage Handler |

Even if you’re not a sports fan or a baseball fan in particular don’t let this stop you visiting Wrigley Field. Home address of Jake and Elwood Blues and the Chicago Cubs. The day game is the big go. Arrive early and have a walk around the surrounding cool suburbs, grab some breakfast (you’ll need it) then hit one of the multiple bars with the masses-all locals. It was a Friday leading into the Labour Day weekend and there wasn’t a single f$&@er working that day. They were all on the piss having a wonderful time. My wife and I found a fantastic beer garden outside the entrance to our seats in the bleachers. The vibe was one of excitement and friendliness- even to “blow ins” like us Australians. Half hour before the first pitch we made our way to our seats in the bleachers. These are the “do your best” seats in the outfield where it’s first in , best dressed. The plebs section. Then for the next four hours you drink, eat, chat, mingle, sing, cheer, boo and maybe watch a bit of baseball. It probably helped that the Cubs won, which included 3 home runs, but either way the crowd was pumped and the party was on. After the final pitch we were invited back to one of the nearby bars by Cubs fans sitting next to us. There we met more happy Cubs fans and continued well into the night hitting the drink.
I’ve been to sports events and concerts all over the world but this rates as one of the most friendly and enjoyable experiences in my 55years.
Warning:you probably have to like a drink to get the most out of the day. Nothing wrong with that though- wooooo!

Bucket list item checked off

By Todd M |

Wrigley is a nice place to watch a game. The iconic ballpark doesn't feel old until you try to go to the concession stands. The food was beyond terrible though. The ballpark was nice but unfortunately I had gone to Fenway Park just a year earlier and I like Fenway much better.

Any fan of baseball MUST visit this ballpark!

By LMicheleS |

At first we were not even going to do the tour, but the weather on July 2nd made me think the game we had tickets too might be cancelled - so I scheduled a tour for the next morning. It was a non game day on the 3rd so we were able to do the full tour.

First I have to review the game day on the 2nd. I was impressed with the vendors/employees. All were polite and helpful. Even the ladies in the restroom were friendly and kept the place nice. We tried a Chicago dog for the first time that evening and loved it! The relish in Chicago looks exceptionally green .... like uranium green, but still tasted good.

The entire vibe of the park was refreshing. We didn't see many ushers, but there didn't seem to be a need for them. Even the fans were nice and awesome. We arrived via the Redline and left that way too. Its super close to the stadium and perfect for getting to and from Wrigley.

The next morning we came back for our scheduled tour. It didn't disappoint! They took us along the entire seating areas, down into a small area in right field by the ivy, up into the visiting ballclub locker room, into the press box and finally down to the home dugout. Really cool tour and our guide was fun and knew lots of trivia and history. Well worth the $ for the tour.

I love this stadium and wish all ballparks were like it! Truly a treasure.

So much fun!

By StefJax |

You don’t have to be a huge baseball fan to enjoy a game here! It’s such a cool park with a unique look and well worth a visit. We saw a game here and it was so fun - even though it was cold and raining! Lots of options for ticket prices - especially for weekday games.

Wonderful spot to watch baseball

By aebmccullick |

We purchased tickets for one of the first full games since March 2020, and the audience was on fire! It was an amazing experience to watch baseball in this historic spot, and I would love to take the behind the scenes tour next time we are in Chicago to learn even more about Wrigley Field.

Lets Go Cubs!

By Angela C |

Such an amazing stadium! The fans are really hardcore into their team. So many people in the bleachers! The crazy thing is that this stadium is cashless! You can go to a counter and pay by card or you can just sit in your seat and have them bring it to you. Amazing! One of the oldest stadiums and its the most in the future! Make sure you get your "My First Game" photo.
Getting there by train was so convenient. Make sure you bring your credit card with the chip so you can just TAP onto the train.
Food options are not amazing like many other stadiums but I'm sure given more time, they can add. Walk around the whole stadium. Fans are everywhere! We ran into a guy who shaved his chest hair with a W for the win...so - let this be your guide!

Bucket List - MUST SEE

By Grover R |

We did a lot in Chicago but the first thing I made sure of when we planned our trip was going to Wrigley for a Cubs game. It is holy place for baseball fans, especially those of us who grew up with day games on WGN. I will say it has changed and modernized much in the last 5 years with the new scoreboards and video screen and outfield bull pens. However, it still has the ivy coved brick wall, the hand operated centerfield scoreboard and all the features of a 100+ year old stadium.

I splurged for tickets on the first row, one section back from the 3rd base dugout. Despite all the concessionaires walking by, the seats were great. The Cubs won big and we got to see a Grand Slam as well as a couple of more home runs. Finally, we sang the 7th inning stretch with a recording of Harry Caray the way it should be a 1, a 2, a 3. Great experience that is truly MUST SEE for Baseball fans.

Sporting icon

By Jim Hearson |

I’ve got zero interest in baseball, but Wrigley Field is an iconic stadium, so I had to visit. Very glad I did too – I managed to get a decent seat for not very much, the food options were good and the baseball was surprisingly entertaining. Oh, and you can claim a free certificate to commemorate your first visit to the ballpark, which is a lovely touch – it’s probably intended for kids, but adults can appreciate it too.

Outdoor Baseball at its finest

By DTBinFWD |

Anyone with any interest in seeing what a classic baseball has been, or could be, should make a trip to a day game here. We were there on a beautiful
May afternoon and saw a game that featured 12 home runs. The stadium is a delight. The fans are awesome.

Love it

By LostInTime |

I went to a night game. 6:40 start. The weather was cool. The park looked great. The sight lines are great. It’s a great way to spend an evening with your son. And the Cubs won.

Fun Park

By julez48 |

We went on literally the hottest day of the year, but we still enjoyed our visit. Be sure if it's hot that you sit in the shaded areas. There are spots in the lower right field that is brutally in the sun.

Grandfather-Granddaughter Trip

By Michael J |

Great time at Wrigley. Iconic stadium. Spent a nice day in Chicago. Spent the day at the aquarium and then the ballgame. Easy to park but a bit pricey.

Baseball fans favorite!

By james h |

Wrigley Field is by far one of the iconic ballparks in the major leagues. It is a "ballpark", not a stadium. Built in 1914, it has been recently renovated to better serve the needs of the public. One downside of this ballpark is the time it takes to get to the park and the difficulty and cost of parking. Research parking on a site call ParkWhiz before visiting. There are many more restaurants around the park to eat at before entering, so try to eat before the game. The best place to buy tickets if you have not done so early is Stub Hub. Good Luck and have fun at the game!

Disappointing that field was covered in Winterfest - bad timing

By Jackie H |

So I think in the spring or fall this would be an awesome tour. Just know that over Dec/Christmas they do Winterfest, the field and perimeter of the field was covered with amusement rides and vendor tents. Honestly if I'd known I wouldn't have booked. The guide told the history of the park in an engaging and funny way. We got to see the Press Box and the Visitors Club House and the Dugout. But having the field covered with a Christmas Fair was a major disappointment. This should be on the website so you are aware before you purchase your tickets. If you are not a local you'd have no idea it was occurring. Also I would have loved to see the Cubs locker room, don't know if that was just normally off limits or part of the ongoing construction you could see going on around the park.

The Essence of Baseball

By tink8009 |

After watching "Baseball" by Ken Burns, coming to Wrigley Field feels like what baseball should be. It's great that the modernized stadiums have worked to keep the ever shortening attention spans of fans (adults and children alike). But Wrigley Field feels pure. Minimal lighted advertisements and screens and charm everywhere you look. Plus, the guided tours give so many insights to its rich history. t's not Iowa or heaven but it's pretty close for a baseball fan.

What a beautiful field!

By inekesg |

One of the most historic en iCal baseball fields of the US, a very special tour and beautiful visit. We enjoyed our stay here so much and will recommend Wrigley Field for a visit, very special

Great afternoon out

By Catherine W |

I was not expecting this to be as much fun as it was. I’m not a baseball fan and don’t know the rules, but the atmosphere of the cubs v Washington on 5th September was just fantastic. A beautiful day with a packed atmospheric stadium was so much fun. The tickets were inexpensive and well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Great Historic Park

By LandSMom |

We very much enjoyed our tour of Wrigley Field. Our tour guide was very informative and interesting. We would recommend the tour.

A Baseball Fan's Must!

By Shackleton87 |

An unforgettable baseball experience. This was my son's big request on our trip to Chicago. Crowd was involved, people were friendly, and the environment is a truly unique experience. I've attended games it many major league stadiums, and this is definitely the most unique experience. The "game presentation" isn't quite as involved as some that I have seen, but it doesn't need to be. My only criticism is the same as most ballparks - ridiculous concession prices. $7.99 for a bottle of soda? Also, be patient about exiting - it took us awhile to get out, but that's part of the experience!

Must DO!!

By Dawn C |

Even if your not a baseball lover this is a MUST. We are baseball people not Cub fans but still an awesome time

Don't Eat or Drink At The Game

By CaroStev |

Every baseball fan -- or any sports fan -- should take in a game at Wrigley Field (and Fenway Park in Boston.) Wrigley has a great old-time atmosphere from the ivy-covered outfield walls to the organ music and the hand-operated scoreboard in center field. It's an historic park, but kept updated and clean throughout. What isn't as enjoyable, though, are the concessions. Paid $15US for a beer, $10US for a cold hot dog. That detracts from an otherwise terrific experience.

Wrigley is Chicago

By Shieldsnan |

We were lucky to have a gorgeous day to catch the Cubbies at Wrigley Field. Hard to have a bad seat there and one of the lines took us directly there from the City. We went early so we could have lunch in and explore Wrigleyville. Great day!

Baseball vs. Braves

By Mark C |

Do not take a bag with you, or be prepared to empty it. Use parkwhiz if you are paying to park and get a spot close to the Field for a great rate.

Very good tour

By Nancy A |

We enjoyed our tour of Wrigley Field. The docents were excellent, enthusiastic, and informative. I didn't know much about the field or the Cubs, but the field is rich with history. It was raining, so we didn't go on the field long, but the docents adapted their presentation for us to be inside where we could hear and stay dry. There are bathrooms and elevators inside. If you go outside to the gift shop, you go around the corner to the restrooms. The gift shop is expensive, as you would expect, $30 for a cotton t-shirt.

Don't miss!

By krhbilly |

Don't miss Wrigleyville and all it has to offer. Lots of places to grab a drink or nightcap, a wide variety of food options, and coffee shops. A great place to visit with friends and family.

Love Wrigley Field

By WhereintheUSisMikey |

We went to the Cubs game and even though the Cubs lost we still had a blast. We sat in the bleachers where my dad took me as a kid. It was very hot so if you sit in the bleachers bring sunscreen and wear a hat. The people around us were great and we had a great time talking with the people behind us. You can sit wherever you want so getting there early is must if you’re sitting in the bleachers. They didn’t have any ushers so you will have to go get food and drinks. If you visit Chicago catching a game at Wrigley Field is a must.

Park and Ride the L for Cubs Games

By Tim W |

As an out-of-town Cubs fan from about a three hours away, I've been hesitant to take the trains inside Chicago and instead would find parking near the ballpark. My daughter met me for this game and we took the L from downtown. This was so convenient with reduced weekend parking rates as well. As always, the stadium was great and the fans were wonderful. The Cubs came up short, but we still had a great time!

The Cathedral of Baseball!

By Traveler |

Watching the Cubs in this iconic stadium is always a treat! We enjoyed the game and noted the usher in our section even had a water spray bottle to "mist" fans who were seeking relief from the heat. Our only regret is that we missed an entire inning waiting in the line at the food concessions stand!

Great visit to the “friendly confines” of Wrigley Field

By Razorfish |

My wife and I attended a game at Wrigley Field this past July while attending a business conference in Chicago. It was great finally being able to attend a game at Wrigley. It was interesting to see the surrounding neighborhood and the “friendly confines” of the ballpark. My only complaint was not being able to see the entire scoreboard from our seats near the top of section 210. Otherwise, it was great to be able to mark off one of the places on my bucket list of MLB ballparks.

Wrigley Field!

By jzizz |

We have wanted to get a Wrigley Field MLB experience for a long time! We finally got here in 2022. If you are a baseball fan, this is a must visit park! I was captivated by the history, surprised by its quaint charm, and thrilled the friendly and engaging staff. Loved every minute of it!

2nd oldest ballpark

By Travel_by_S |

I love touring fields and stadiums when no one else is there. It's a very cool experience, and you get to really enjoy the field itself. The tour was very good. Guide was friendly and had a lot of interesting facts about the field.

Baseball as it should be done,

By Michael S |

Classic Chicago experience. Nice staff—vendors, ushers, security seemed happy and competent. We sat in 202—reasonably priced. Loved to hear an organ again!

Best ballpark in America?

By Northern_Traveler00 |

Maybe. Definitely the best old one, of course the competition is Fenway and Dodger Stadium. Great views from every seat (unlike Fenway) and in a super neighborhood (unlike Dodger). Could use more food options and more space so lines don't get too long. Fenway figured it out by closing nearby streets during games.

Old inside, upscale outside

By val m |

If not for the opportunity to watch the game outside on lovely grounds on large screens, my rate would be Average due to age and seating with large pole/beams blocking a view! My $65 seat had a large pole totally blocking second base from my view! No breaks on food and beer prices, no food or drinks allowed in.

Great Tour!

By Kaley S |

Brian and Tom gave us our tour of the field, and it was super neat! Got to see a lot of different areas and views - 100% worth the money! So cool!

Highly recommend this tour

By jhuebel |

Great venue. Love the history and the tour guide did a great job with the story telling. Highly recommend this tour

Made it to the Friendly Confines

By hockeyaw19 |

The friendly confines of Wrigley Field are a must for any baseball fans. Being from Boston, it felt quite like Fenway - old school, with narrow walk ways that take you back in time. The outside wrigley area is full of shops and vendors hocking goods and food. There was a nice little 'party park' called Gallegher's Way adjacent to the stadium that had activities for kids and statues of former greats. The game itself started around 130pm and we were in section 321 first row. The climb up was a bit taxing on my older father and the steps down to the row were steep. The view was great and you're certainly in foul ball territory as several dotted around us. The only challenge was a mid-May game and the sun being behind us meant we were engulfed in shade. The shade along with a constant wind made for a pretty chilly event. The concession stands were a directly behind our section and we would go out there and warm up a bit when needed. Wrigley, like Fenway, is not cheap - from ticket to food. Bring your wallet.

Iconic Field

By jlomein513 |

Amazing time at a Cubs Vs Brewers game. The park is family friendly with corn hole, Connect Four and Jenga games for people to play while you wait to enter the park. You can take photos of all the statues and visit the team trophy. It was our first time there so you can go to the "first timers booth" to get a certificate and free photo op. Can't leave the stadium with a hot dog with all the fixings and ice cream in the ball cap. It was Hello Kitty Bobblehead day so we got one!

Fun!

By 291chrissy19 |

Our tour guide John was very informative and knew everything about the stadium! We got to experience the dug out and the press box

Bucket list

By 646jenniferu |

So excited we got to go to Wrigley Field for a game even though the Cubs lost. The stadium was great, the food and drinks were good (wish they had ranch for the chicken strips) but overall we had a blast!

Incredible birthday celebration!

By joe-chicago-23 |

I can't possibly top Taylor B's review, but I can add to it. Growing up in Chicago and taking the 'L to dozens of games, this was the perfect place for me to have a celebration for a major birthday. Thanks to the help of the Cubs ticket office, I was able to create a group and get a block of seats together for my local and out of town friends and family that were eager to go to Wrigley Field with me.
I enjoyed seeing the renovations to the concourse and restrooms. Lots more information and entertainment on the new video boards. And just like when I was young, the Cubs almost blew the game but hung on to win. The real throwback was drinking an Old Style beer again. The traditional ballpark food is still served but many other ballparks have more and better choices.

Touring is a must

By Kimmvel |

Get ready to go back in time! This ballpark is so special. The tour is a great way to learn the history of the park, team, and owners.

Sorry cubbies

By smlake4me |

We enjoyed the field and fun around a ball game in late September. Unfortunately the Cubs did not win and later lost out on a wildcard game(although we were thrilled for our Nats). A beautiful ball park even in the rain.

An Iconic Ballpark

By Jonathan R |

My wife and I visited Wrigley for the first time last month. Even though our seats were in the top deck far down the third-base line, the sight lines to all portions of Wrigley were very good. We thought the dining options were heavy on hot dogs, sausages, and brats and short of healthier dining options, but I really enjoyed the Italian beef - hot dog combo I had. My wife was also taken with how positive and enthusiastic the Cubs fans were. Baseball fans, regardless of their team loyalties, can’t help but enjoy a game at Wrigley.

Historic ball park

By Simon G |

Great to take in a Cubs-Cards game while we were in town, even if Cubs playoff hopes were fizzling out (in the rain!) If you know little about baseball but enjoy watching other sports, you'll probably enjoy this. If you don't, you might still enjoy the whole experience, 100% American as it feels.

Wrigley Field Tour at its Finest!

By Happytraveller |

Whether you are a Cubs fan or not this tour beats none other for baseball fans. The stories told surrounding this iconic palace are second to none. Tour guide Larry and his assistant Haley were remarkable in sharing these stories with us. A tour of the whole ball park minus the sacred new confines of the home team locker room including standing beside the famous outfield wall covered with ivy.

The only thing missing was the opportunity to see a ball game as the Cubs were on a road trip.

RumChata stand and a classic ballpark

By psudino |

I must preface that I really dislike baseball, so for me, wandering around the stadium how I experienced this classic ballpark. I really enjoy how it is in the middle of everything so the city the bars, restaurants and the city is right there. I'm not a fan how so many modern sports venues are being built in the suburbs.

My title mentions RumChata. That is because there is a RumChata stand in the park with many different RumChata drinks. My Chicago native friends introduced to many concoctions, but none are better than the Cinnamon Toast Crunch which is RumChata with Fireball. Yum!

A great classic ballpark.

Bucket List

By Kim P |

The Cubs didn't win and the weather was lousy but the day was very enjoyable. The Cubs owner was passing through the stadium and stopped to take a pic with us.

Excellent Ballpark Experience

By Mike S |

Always a bucket list ballpark for baseball enthusiasts. Nice park set in a neighborhood. The facility is clean and concession staff is efficient. My first visit to Chicago but will not be the last. We all enjoyed our day in and around the park.

Fathers Day Game

By Ash |

Best part about our trip was Wrigley Field. From taking the train in, to being among all the Cubs fans, to eating a Chicago Dog, to the seats, to the fans...it was AMAZING and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

The best place to spend and afternoon during a pandemic!

By Bobbie B |

Wrigley NEVER disappoints. We had so much fun even though the Cubs lost. The camaraderie, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious dogs make it a day you will never forget.

Must go!

By Nikii |

It was super cool to see Wrigley up close but due to COVID we couldn’t take a tour inside ;(. It’s still a “must go to” even if you just walk around the outside.

Full of History

By TJtravelerX |

If you like Baseball, you have to visit the stadium. Fans are very engaged with the Cubs and much tradition to enjoy. The park is old but well mantained.

Highly Recommend a Tour of Wrigley Field

By Toodles4now |

Let me start by stating that I am not a big baseball fan. I mention that because being a fan of baseball was not my motivation to go on this tour. That being said, this was probably one of my favourite things to do in Chicago. Our guide was so engaging and informative. Wrigley Field is historic and iconic. I loved everything about this tour - from watching the grounds keepers, to sitting in various seats, learning about the culture of the bleachers, to sitting in the press box, to going to the dugout and team room. I feel highly motivated to return to Chicago to attend a Cubs game to see it all in action. Plus, I would really like to return when we have more time to explore the area around Wrigley Field.

Still the Best Baseball stadium in the US

By BRITOPSPIN |

I have not lived in Chicago for over 20 years, but still feel that there is no better MLB baseball experience anywhere else. There is so much history and nostalgia as you enter the stadium even though there has been many changes and upgrades over the years. Driving by in January I saw that they even offer ice skating outside, and can't wait to take my family to a game this summer.

Iconic

By Wayne M |

Wrigley Field is a must visit if you are a baseball fan. It’s an iconic and historic venue with a great atmosphere. I saw the Cubs play there on a perfect Saturday night and loved every minute.

A classic Must See ballpark

By strongarm18 |

Wrigley field is an icon in the baseball world and a must-see if in town and enjoy the game of baseball. Classic exterior with an updated inside, this is how baseball should be. Plenty of seats in shade or in the sun…or general admission bleachers in the outside if you wish. Clean & affordable concessions (they’ll delivered to your seat via the Ballpark app) and clean restrooms make this a must go.

First visit to Wrigley Field

By Sydney |

First time ever watching a Baseball game and the atmosphere was so good. Although where we were at it was so cold that we left after the 4th inning but overall it was a good day out.

I would definitely recommend attending a Baseball game if you are a tourist and would love to experience the atmosphere of a different sport.

Very good.

By luishcp |

Even for those who are not fans of baseball - the case of the vast majority of Brazilians - it is worth watching a game here. Century stadium, usually crowded, hot dog to eat at intervals and around goes.

I recommend a visit to Wrigley!

By joaniemaria |

Even though the Cubs lost, we enjoyed our visit to Wrigley Field. Our tickets were less that $15 each and we had decent seats. We each had a Vienna beef hot dog which was very good. Wrigley has gone cashless, so be sure to bring a credit card or debit. I recommend a visit!

What a bucket list trip we had. The field was awesome. The game was fun to watch. Loved the organ. The train ride to the park was scary tho

A trip down memory lane

By Sarah C |

Although we didn't have tickets, it was incredible to relive our youth and travel back on the El to Wrigley Field, it was as if time had stopped. The buzz around the stadium was just as we remember, what a fabulous Chicago icon this is. Next time we hope to secure match tickets

Tour Wrigley you wont regret it

By Stacey O |

Second time doing the Wrigley tour and I learn something new each time our tour guide Clay was awesome. Funny and knowledgeable it was a great tour. only downside this is my 2nd tour and have yet to see the visitor clubhouse this time because pitbull was performing a concert that night so that was a bummer. Oh and if you go DONT TOUCH THE IVY they tell you don't touch it but there are always people that do and when the tour guide is telling them not to it ruins the experience and limits the stories. You are grown adults just follow the rules!

Incredibly cool venue

By Whitney M |

Lady Gaga sold out to 45,000 fans and it was incredible!!! I heard a rumor that people play baseball there too?

Win or lose, Wrigley’s always a fun time!

By MeganHernando_MS |

A must visit for any Cubs fan; a must visit for any baseball fan! There is just something about Wrigley - the history, the nostalgia, the scoreboard, the ivy - that just makes it a wonderful, special place to watch a baseball game. No matter where you sit, there is always fun, friendly people around you. We visited during the last series before the trade deadline and were able to see Javier Baez in the on deck circle one last time, one last home run from Kris Bryant, and one last home run from Anthony Rizzo! Although we weren’t fortunate enough to get to sign Go Cubs Go at the end of the game - that W flag flying atop the scoreboard is always a pretty sight - we still had a fun time!

A must do experience

By Sandy C |

Being baseball fans, we wanted to go to Wrigley field for a Cubs game. It was jam packed with fans and the stadium felt very old school. The icing on the cake was the Cubs victory of 11-3 over the Orioles and hearing the fans sing their victory song.

One of the historic stadiums of baseball, great to experience a game there. If a baseball fan have to see it. Our family of 4 loved it.

Fun Way to Watch Baseball

By Rachel N |

My husband and I had a great time watching the Cubs vs Pirates. It is a nice intimate ballpark and easy to get to (if you don't count the traffic!)

The Old Ballpark

By Josue C |

The highlight of my Chicago visit, was my time at Wrigley Field. The second oldest ball park in the Major Leagues, is a most do to all baseball fans. The home of the Chicago Cubs is chock full of baseball history. From the years when the Cubs barely made it out of the cellar of the standings, to the heart break moments moments where the Cubs lost in style, to the 2016 season where they finally were able to win the World Series, Wrigley has witness it all. Known affectionately as the "Friendly Confines" Wrigley Field is one the most beautiful ball parks I've visited. Watching a game here is like stepping back in time. The atmosphere in the neighborhood is electric, the place surrounding the ballpark is full of pubs, bars, and shops. The concession stands have a decent selection food and beers. Overall, Wrigley Field is a must visit to all baseball fans, so get a ticket, get a cap, get some brews, and a play off the outfield ivy, at one baseball's true cathedrals.

Wrigley was nothing more than expected

By Bobby D |

Very nostalgic. Great scene around ballpark. For a 100+ yr stadium is in good shape. Not a lot to say. It was more a bucket list check of than a great time

Loved the Reds won.

By Jym F |

Great ballpark. We had really good views of the field. I was surprised ballpark looked as new for being older. Lots of things to do around the stadium as well.

Iconic … What Baseball Stadiums Should Be

By CharlieinTexas |

Rented bikes and road all around the stadium. Loved the players names on the pavers outside. Nice statues. Houses nearby are fun to view. Near the subway. Lots of pubs in the area.

Beautiful stadium, great tour

By tfalduto |

Took a guided tour of Wrigley field and stadium, October 2022. We saw everything! The field, the ivy wall, the home dug out, visitor locker room, press box, bleachers! Our guide was entertaining and engaging. Told many stories of the park’s origin, players and guests! Highly recommend!

A great way to spend an afternoon in Chicago!

By emmagrace2809 |

This is a very cool ballpark! It is a very nice park with lots of character! It’s a great way to spend an afternoon in Chicago!

Bleachers!!

By Prego51 |

I’ve been to a bunch of games but finally made it to the bleachers!! Now I know what everyone’s been talking about. We had a blast this past Sunday and I don’t drink. Just hanging out with friends enjoying the sun, Cubs and great vibe!! I’m going back!!

a Must do

By Marvin v |

Great stories, history and simply weird things. as a fan a must do, as a non-fan... you'll still really enjoy it!

AWESOME BALLPARK

By AmyBrennanKallner |

Great venue! Cubs fans are so fun (we are from Ohio) and welcoming. Every where you sit is a good seat. thank you!

A great experience

By A Midlife Adventure |

We didn’t do the tour of the stadium but went to watch the Cubs play the Pirates.
This was on my husbands bucket list being a massive sports fan. He really wanted to see baseball being played in an original stadium and this dates back to 1914.

I’m not a sports fan but came along for the ride so to speak and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were super friendly and my husband came away with a certificate for his first Wrigley visit which I thought was a great touch. We managed to get tickets the day before in a good position to the right of the plate.
The atmosphere was one of great enthusiasm and despite the cold wind for which we weren’t properly prepared clothes wise we had a good night.

Game day!

By Amanda |

We went to watch the cubs, if a game is on and we’re in America then we always go. A great atmosphere despite the really rubbish weather. We were cold and wet but still had a good time.

Nice ballpark for a concert!!!

By Vacation_Commander |

As a White Sox fan (I know), I have never been to Wrigley Field for a baseball game, but have now been here for a concert several times. With the stage in the outfield, this is actually a pretty decent stadium for a concert... almost all the seats are good seats.

Great historical stadium

By Jason S |

We have been watching baseball games at different stadiums since our son was 5. It was time we watched one at Wrigley. We had great seats to watch baseball. Finding those seats were a challenge, but once we did, they were fantastic. The food options seemed to be limited from what we have seen at other stadiums. It seemed that every food stand had the same things. It was cool that they have a few of these setups with a grab n go that also had self-checkout. I will also say that all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is the score board, jumbotron, and finding stats are all over the place. Just to find simple information for the game, you have to look all over the place. It just is not laid out in a way that provides information in a logical place, it is all over the place.

Overall, this is an incredible stadium with lots of history. It was a great place to take in a game and making it even better the team I was routing for won.

Cool to see

By Bz55 |

Was in Chicago and had a day to kill so we went site seeing. Unfortunately it was January and out of baseball season so we did not get to catch a game or go inside. We did drive around the property and got out to grab a quick souvenir. Will be back one day soon to catch a game and experience inside. The famous sign outside though made for a beautiful picture and visual memory

What a ballpark!

By DB1989Raiders |

Enjoyable day watching the Cubs beat the Red Sox at this picturesque ballpark. Great views from seats and quick, accessible food and drink stands.

Go Cubs Go!

By Derek C |

I have been in the regular seats, 1917 club, and the rooftops. Every time I have gone it has been a fantastic time. The area around is great and fun. Definitely stick around after the game!

Most unfriendly park in the entire MLB

By Thomas K |

I've been to dozens of ball parks across the country. Wrigley field is a historic old park and buy itself is a beautiful part of baseball history. That is the only thing worthwhile to go there! The local fans were the rudest, most unfriendly people I have ever experienced in all the ballparks I've visited (over 30). It is also the least accessible I've ever been to. Plan an hour or more to find parking on the many one-way streets surrounding the park, and well over an hour to get out of the area after the game. i got lucky to park fairly close to the ballpark, but it was it was like parking in a sardine can, inches between cars, all passengers had to get out before parking. But it was at a local Hotdog shop that we got some dogs from after the game. feed the car carload for what would have been one or two inside the park. It is by far one of the more expensive parks to visit for a game for concessions. I meet up with several other out of town baseball fans after the game that shared the same experience with me, so this was not a one-off event.

In Town For Conference

Every other year, our national environmental conference is in Chicago. Every time we make time for a game. Yankees fan that loves the stadium, Wrigleyville and the fans.

NICE DAY AT THE BALLPARK

By Steven C |

My wife and I caught a Cubs game during our recent visit to Chicago. I have been to Wrigley Field before in years past and have always enjoyed the experience. The employees we encountered were all very friendly and quick to provide any assistance they could. While the prices for many food/drink items were rather high, they were in the range you expected to pay at an MLB ballpark and they were all very good. Our hotel recommended we take the train to the ballpark instead of a cab due to the traffic in the area and we did so. The best advice I can give is to go early as the trains get very packed with fans going to the game. The gates on weekends open either 90 minutes or two hours before the game depending on whether it is a weekend or weekday game. There are also places surrounding the ballpark to get a bite to eat/drink if you get there before the gates open. They now only use mobile tickets for entry so be sure you or someone with you has access to a smart phone and has the MLB app downloaded. I'm not a big baseball fan however, I have always enjoyed my visits to this ballpark and I highly recommend it for a nice afternoon.

Lovely Field.

By Miguel Gómez |

The Wrigley Field is a historic and lovely baseball field, is very well preserved and with a very nice arquitecture. The outside is beautiful just like the inside, we watched a Chicago Cubs game against the St Louis Cardinals, and it was pretty good, just the fact that we were seated in the sun at 2 pm, but its part of the experience. If you have the opportunity go to a game at the Wrigley Field, and don't forget a cap!

Wrigley Field is amazing!

By Y2607RCsheilac |

We had a great first and second visit to Wrigley Field. We went on a tour in the afternoon and watched the Mets come from behind to beat the Cubs that night. We were back the next night and the Cubs beat the Mets. Everyone who worked at Wrigley Field was very gracious to us. The focus was on the love of the game of baseball and not on the different teams we were cheering for. We definitely want to come back!

Iconic Baseball Ground

By wombledavid |

Thanks to the film director John Hughes; the Chicago Cubs are the most famous baseball team for anyone( like me) who grew up in the UK, in the 80s.

This was my second visit and I love coming here. From the famous sign and the Harry Caray statue, this is a truly iconic place to visit.

Chicago May 2025

By Bob S |

What a great city, clean lots to do and see & very easy to navigate transit. A trip to Wrigley Field is a must, we were at a Cubs/White Sox game the atmosphere in that old ballpark is amazing! Highly recommend a trip to The Windy City the people were so nice & very helpful everywhere we went.

Very good! Definitely would go back!

By BielatB1220 |

It was definitely worth seeing. If you are from out of town it is better to go on the tour than going to game! Was very educational and learn a lot about the field and all what it about!

Historical Venue

By Mattkur |

We ride the fan bus over from Rockwell. This is the way to go for parking. Get to ballpark 1 hour early and walk around the park.

One of the Great Ballparks

By FOILsurfboards |

Truly amazing experience at Wrigley Field. We came from Tampa to watch the Cubs and visit Wrigley Field. The game was great, all the staff were amazing. The usher took pics of us with Wrigley in the background. Food was good, obviously had to get a Chicago Dog which was delicious. Prices were about what you’d expect in a ballpark. Easy to navigate through the ballpark too, only trouble spot in around main entrance leaving when a bunch of people are trying to leave at once but wasn’t too bad. Chicago PD did a good job directing people after the game and kept them moving on the streets.

The following day we did the tour of the ballpark. Awesome, the guide had plenty on info and we visited multiple areas. Including the lower section and bleachers, then field along the ivy wall. We visited the press box and the visitor clubhouse. Finished off with back on the field by the Cubs dugout. Highly recommend the tour.

Historical Ballpark - A Must See

By Greg F |

One of the most historical ballparks in America. If you are in Chicago make sure to catch a game. Bleacher seats are the best. There are no escalators just walking ramps so if you seat in the upper deck be prepared to walk. There are great views of the city from the food decks, like the Jack Daniels Deck.

Best early 1900s park in the US

By GatashMA |

I am a Red Sox fan and been going to Fenway Park for 40 years. Fenway is a mediocre park compared to Wrigley, a gem of a park. At Wrigley, all staff want you to enjoy your visit and they are very friendly, welcoming and cheerful. Chicagoans are naturally welcoming and friendly so the crowd is great and Cubs fans are there to watch the game, not to get drunk and foolish. I loved watching baseball with them ! It just so happened the Cubs were playing the Red Sox when I attended and the Cub fans were appropriately engaged in cheering for their team. There were bathroom attendants in all the women's rooms, which made for clean bathrooms.

Like Fenway, there are obstructed view seats. And seats are expensive! I recommend the 300 section seats. Those are located in front of any poles and there is no overhang from the above section so your view of the field is clear. Unlike Fenway, the seats are actually directed toward home plate so you are not craning your neck to turn right or left too watch each pitch. Also, there are plenty of concession stands in the upper sections so you don't have the crowds on the main level.

Good experience for a discovery of baseball

By Lil00_10 |

Friendly experience during our stay in Chicago: the show is as much on the field as in the stadium aisles. Award of seats is affordable at the top of the stadium and the view remains correct. The center is connected by a metro line, the stop is at the foot of the stadium.

Great Ballpark

By Davanrn |

Well kept ballfield with plenty of good seats. Surrounding area has been cleaned up nicely. Nice facilities including restrooms. Good eateries. Not cheap.

Atmosphere has changed and not for the better.

By Brian D |

We went to the game on May 28th. We sat in the bleachers because in Wrigley the bleachers have always been a lot of fun. I have been going to games for many years. Wanted my 14 year old daughter who is a huge Cubs fan to enjoy the experience. I have never experience so much foul language in any other sporting event. The F word was used at least 100 times. Asked an usher if he could ask them to see if they could stop some of it . He said no. If there not yelling it at the players he can't do anything. I disagree with that. I have always told people that Wrigley in the bleachers is great. Can't say that anymore.

A great place to visit

By Steve B |

An amazing place! We first went to a night game and were blown away by the friendly atmosphere among fans and the staff. I am from the NY area where stadium staff are passive at best. At Wrigley they go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. The fans were also courteous and welcoming.

The next day we went back for a tour of the stadium. Our guide, Steve, gave a fascinating presentation about the history of the stadium and insights on its present day aspects.

Chicago's can't-miss attraction

By Taylor B |

Wrigley Field has come a long way since the 1950s, when the Cubs were bottom feeders, the seats were empty and the stadium badly needed a renovation. I've seen it all--and from nearly every vantage point. I still remember Bruce Sutter's wife changing her baby daughter's diaper in the row in front of us, behind home plate. As a sportswriter for the Champaign-Urbana Courier, I sat in the press box and interviewed former Chicago White Sox pitcher and then San Francisco Giants pitcher Billy Pierce in the first base dugout. As a high school sports reporter for the Chicago Daily News and Chicago Sun-Times, I covered city championship games at Wrigley Field. Afterward, I stood on the pitching mound, sat in the dugout and gazed out to the center field scoreboard from the batter's box. As a fan, I sat in the left field bleachers, behind the plate, in the first row behind the Cubs' dugout and the upper deck along the first base line. Nowadays, I live in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, a 15-minute ride on the Clark Street bus to Wrigley Field at Clark and Addison. If you are a tourist, visiting Chicago for the first time, Wrigley Field has to be on your to-go list. With the Art Institute, the Museum Campus, Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park and the Chicago River. Sit in the left field bleachers, with hot dog and beer in hand, absorb the atmosphere. You'll feel like Ferris Bueller. The food is better, the restrooms are cleaner and the concourses are wider than they used to be. Sing along with the late Harry Caray during the seventh inning stretch. If the Cubs win, wave a "W" banner and sing the Cubs anthem, "Hey Chicago, what do you say, the Cubs are gonna win today," with the fans. Afterward, continue your Wrigley Field experience by strolling through adjacent Gallagher Way and kibitz with fans at Murphy's Bleachers, the fan-friendly bar at Sheffield and Waveland, across from center field. Then take the El or the Clark Street bus home. On occasion, I've walked the whole way, 15 city blocks. It always feels better when the Cubs win.

Great Stadium

By KK78 |

We came here to see a concert. It was packed. Although there were lines, facilities (bathrooms) were kept clean and the vendors hustled to get everyone served. Having the CTA (train) right outside the park is extremely convenient.

A Baseball Cathedral

By JeffBreedlove |

There are four Baseball Cathedral's - Dodger Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, and Wrigley Field - I have now visited each. Wrigley does not disappoint - if you are ready for an old stadium.

There are obstructed views - be clear on this as you purchase tickets. There is a nice first time visitor free gift - get in line early it gets long - prices inside are what you would expect at a stadium.

This is a must for all baseball fans.

There are a few parking decks right by the stadium. A fair price and safe. The private souvenir shops are nice but expensive.

There are a lot of restaurants across the way in Wrigleyville - we ate at the BBQ one - they are all expensive.

Magic in the Ivy

There’s no place like the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field! This is the best place in the world to watch a baseball game, and is truly a historic stadium and amazing neighborhood. GO CUBS GO!

A "Bucket List" Place for Baseball Fans

By beerwriter |

If, to quote the movie Bull Durham, there is a "church of baseball", then Wrigley Field is one of the game's cathedrals. Renovations have kept this 110-year-old ballpark a comfortable place for fans despite its age while the relatively small size make even the "nosebleed seats" a close to the field experience. The surrounding Wrigleyville neighborhood of cafes and pubs is, in itself, a reason to visit the area.

Always a Thrill - Win or Lose

By jjtr6 |

Wrigley Field is the place to Take You Out to a Ball Game. Get a hot dog and enjoy the crowd and a baseball game. Win or Lose ...it’s memorable and enjoyable from the grandstand or the bleachers!

Day Game

By Davin D |

What are the most iconic places in history to watch a baseball game. Do you have a chance to go take the tour watch a game or do whatever you can just get it at the stadium it’s worth it.

Had to Experience

By Catherine J |

Stayed in Chicago for a week and I had to go to a game. Getting there was super easy and the people at the gate helped this solo traveler get her ticket. Gone are the days of the old cash/ticket in hand exchange! Grabbed a dog, chatted with the locals, and have a wonderful Chicago memory I will never forget!

Every where you sit is a good seat

By Sheila J |

Food is adequate and place is comfortable, such an amazing experience, it was a nice visit to see a historic stadium.

A Unique Chicago Experience

By WalkaboutJose2018 |

Wrigley Field is a truly unique experience in that you are walking in to the ball park and taking a step back in time. The stands, the layout, the feel of the park is straight out of the 1920’s. Although the park has gone through many many renovations, upgrades and amenities they manage to leave in tact the old ballpark vantage point. The old score board was still there, the hotdogs are still there, and the beer is still ice cold. Bring your friends, bring your family or just come alone and you’ll have an amazing experience. The crowd is friendly and ruckus all at once.

Bleacher Bums

By Susan K |

Excellent tour, Steve is a great tour guide. Fun way to learn the extensive and colorful history of this ballpark. Thanks!

For Baseball fans only

By Johnny Trekkie |

GUIDED TOUR REVIEW ONLY...Me and the guys were on our annual wifeless weekend getaway. My 3 buddies wanted to do this tour since the season was over and couldn't see a game. I didn't but went along anyway. And full disclosure, I'm not a baseball fan...I don't mind going to a live game once or twice a season, and I'll never watch a game on TV cause its so boring! The $30 90 minute tour takes you through the Seating Bowl, Bleachers, Outfield Ivy, Press Box, Visiting Clubhouse, Dugout Field...all somewhat interesting. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and energetic...I just wasn't interested in the topic or the many side stories he told. I wasn't alone...I could easily tell most of the wives and girlfriends got dragged into this by their baseball loving men. Like myself.

I'm not the right person for this, but if you're a big baseball fan you'll love it...for me its just ZZZzzzZZZzzz...at least its not golf, which is absolutely the worst and most boring "sport" ever.

From the outside

By TTTW_traveller |

We only saw the field from the outside. But the statues and building were great. It definitely didn’t have a traditional feel to a stadium. Wonderful building.

A must do on your baseball bucket list.

By Patrick L |

Booked tour directly through MLB/Cubs. Great trip through its history. Must do for any baseball fan. Learned about the rooftop bleachers and visitors clubhouse. Tour guide did not have amplification so it was hard to hear him at times. Had a snack at neat local spot called Wrigleyville dogs (on N Clark) before the tour then had a larger meal at Murphys Bleachers tavern (right behind centerfield) on corner of Waveland/Sheffield. Great place with lots of memorabilia.

1914 Club

By djones118 |

Wow! The Cubs organization did a fantastic job on this venue. Very large area Beautiful decor with several different food stations. Great variety of items. They also have a "grab & go" area. Fantistic job can't wait to go back!

Fun for everybody

By rod_ch-mx |

This place is awesome. For those who love baseball it holds up to that legendary history it holds. And for those that are not too interested in the sport itself, it is a fun and welcoming place. Sorrounded by bars and restaurants, you can have a full day experience in this place.

You Can't Beat Fun at the Old Ballpark

By Robert E F |

The "Friendly Confines". Taken seriously here. The staff is great! Easy to get into and out of lines for food, beverages, and souvenirs. Visit the Wall of Fame behind Left Field. Beautiful summer day and the result was a Cubs "W".

A dream

By lucasashby |

I am so glad to have finally gone here! I recommend making sure to check your view prior to getting tickets because we made a mistake and got ones with columns blocking some of the view.

This is something you must do when here. It feels different than any other ballpark I’ve been in. They also do an incredible job with concessions lines, I never had to wait long at all!

Highlight of our trip

By Kristie L |

This was definitely our favorite stop. There was so much history to learn about the park, about the sport, and the city. Our guide was great. We got to see all areas of Wrigley. My BF is huge baseball fan. And after this tour I was one too. We’re just not going to be cubs fans

Beautiful ballpark!

By Joe M |

We saw a wonderful ball game in historic Wrigley Field. Seating, food service and shops were all wonderful. My only gripe is that from Section 218, Row 19, the Scoreboard was blocked by speakers!! We could not see the count on the batter, the score of the game, etc. Ugh! Please recess the speakers up out of view.

Stadium concert experience.

By CuriousGoddess |

A great Chicago experience. I attended baseball game here many years ago, and this time went to a stadium concert. Concert was juggled a bit due to weather predictions but that cannot be helped. You cannot get more "Chicago" than Wrigley Field. Had drinks and snacks at a nearby bar (Vines?) prior to concert.

Wrigley Field tirp

By Theresa N |

Wrigley Field has had some upgrades, some of the women's bathrooms are very nice. Need more ramps/elevators and hand rails for older guests trying to walk up to their seats. Not very handicap accessible. Long lines for food. Food choices are not very diverse. Much more expensive than the White Sox park. Make sure you stand in the correct food lines as some only take cash, no credit.

Take the tour on a no game day !

By Cayla P |

We had an amazing tour on a no game day! We got to see media room, lockers, and step on the field. We saw batters practicing and even got a baseball. It was super cool and informative. Would definitely recommend

Pick Seats Wisely

By Brandon |

If the Cubs are in town, I would definitely recommend coming to a game at this iconic venue. Make sure to do research on your seats as there are many obstructed views. From our seats, you could barely see the hitter, 2nd base, pop flies, or the scoreboard.

Trip to Chicago

By Elisabeth D |

Absolutely loved the tour! Guide was informative, engaging and entertaining. So glad we made time for this, despite being diehard Phillies fans. Learned the history and back stories of the stadium. Too bad there aren’t many of these old stadiums left.

Historic Ball Park

By Dave F |

I visited here about a year ago or so, and it was a nice time at the historic venue. I know there are downsides to the historic venue like this but overall, it was a nice visit to see a historic stadium with the Cubs.

The baseball experience

First baseball game ever. Not the most exciting but fun to watch. Loved my hot dog. And atmosphere was good

Saw much of this ballpark on the guided tour

By bobx77 |

This ballpark has got a long history and they tell you on this tour with pride.
The guided tour takes you to many places in Wrigley Field and I could recommend this tour.

Adult admission is $ 30 each.
The tour takes about 90 minutes.

A Must Do in Chicago, Baseball Fan or Not

By Just Get in the Car |

Wrigley Field might be the best ballpark experience in baseball. The energy of the place is hard to capture in a review like this. But even my wife, who hates all sporting events, loved it here.

We had come here before with just the two of us. The experience is a little different with little kids, but it is still a great one. Here are some of our pointers:

Getting there and getting home: The subway will be packed. My little guy spent most of the ride staring at various strangers' cracks. If you can endure that for a bit, it is much easier to take the subway than to try and find parking.

Don't rush to get inside the stadium. Some stadiums have a bunch of activity areas for kids. Wrigley does not. Take some time and explore the area around Wrigley before rushing into the stadium. Also, you can't circle the entire stadium. The bleacher section is blocked off from everywhere else.

Be prepared for obstructed views! As you can see from our photo, homeplate was pretty much blocked for me. Go online and see the view from your seat before purchasing them.

Enjoy the baseball! The fans in Chicago are great and the stadium has a classic feel to it. Get into the game and see what makes this place so magical

Cubs Game

By TravelMode |

Weather was perfect, the won the game, and Wrigley is legend. Always a good time when we are up there.

Great visit

By Joyce S |

Came to see a Chicago Cubs v Philadelphia Phillies game and although the score wasn't the best that time, the experience was great (apart from the 4 young girls who sat behind us and talked all the way through , they managed to throw drink in the air which hit me on the back - not even a sorry) ... aside from that everything else was great. Food maybe not the best choices or prices, but hey that's not why you come here.

A Historic Baseball Experience

By PJA070413 |

I'm not from Chicago, but on a recent visit wanted to see a game at one of the last great historic ballparks in America. I was super-impressed with the experience. It was an easy trip on the L train to get there, and the Cubs have done a great job maintaining and updating this venue. The place definitely has an old-time vibe, but is hip and modern as well. 39,000 fans (!) showed up for a Friday afternoon game. The place was rocking with every Cubs homer that day (4 of them). And after a 9th inning walk-off win, most of the fans fans stayed to sing "Go Cubs Go!" while high-fiving strangers. Just a really fun day. Contrary to one negative review below, I thought the in-seat vendors selling hot dogs were not a problem at all but very convenient for the fans -- something that many ballparks have mistakenly moved away from. I've seen games at the original Yankee Stadium and many at Fenway Park. The Cubs and their terrific fans have really captured the old-time spirt of This Great Game and have kept it fun.

Game Day

By JFWhite |

Last ball game of the season 2024. Fun time here. Lots to see. Lots to see here with lots of history! Highly recommended to come here watch a game

Sacred Ground

By Jason C |

Apart from the sheer history of Wrigley Field (the called shot, Let's Play Two, A one, a two, ad nauseam), Wrigley is a great place to watch a game. The whole stadium feels like something out of another era, because it is. The ornate decoration and aesthetic of the park feels like a century ago. The rituals and traditions of Wrigley Field are part of baseball lore, and every baseball fan needs to come here at some point in their lives.

Best place in town!

By Rodrigo V |

Watching a cubbies game at Wrigley Field really is a must! (even if you don't like baseball). Try to steer away from seats at the upper terraces, everywhere else is fantastic.

Great stadium

By Paul H |

Went the the Cubs cardinal game. Wow what a game cards won 2-1. Sat in bleachers . Great view and a lot of excitement. The stadium tour was fun and very informative. Now I can take it off the bucket list.

Classic baseball

By Becswa |

This was my second visit to Wrigley. My first visit was in 1986- and I fell in love with baseball at that visit. My return visit couldn't have been better- Cubs won, weather was perfect, seats were great, easy to get there via the L. It won't be 36 years before I return again!

Too many guys pushing food and beer and drinks during game - blocking views

By 192ala410 |

Horrible seats in section 106. Constant hot dog and beer guides blocking views 6 lathe men walking around hollering beer and hot dogs standing in front of you all throughout the game in and off. Suppose to be good seats bleachers would have been better. Also limited vendors and food choices in stadium

Very fun time!

By Melinda G |

Super fun experience to be able to visit the second oldest ball field in the US. Everything was super organized, very clean and all staff were friendly. We sat in section 307 L row 8 seat 23/24. So no obstruction for the game. Watch if you sit on level 2 as this is common (obstructions). Expensive as any ball field is. You can get concessions from the counter or there are folks that come through during the game to sell concessions. NO CASH taken. All cards. They have a “reverse” cash machine that will turn your cash into a card!

Great history!

By JRsNeighbor |

Such a great experience for any baseball lover! Be sure to stay for the 7th inning street and hope the Cubs win to lift the W flag. Grab a hotdog while you are here!

Excellent Tour of Wrigley Field! Do it!

Do the tour of Wrigley Field! We weren’t able to see a Cubs game while we were here, but knew we had to see Wrigley Field and the tour did not disappoint! I still think we would have done a game too to experience the stadium full of cheering fans, but you get to see so many amazing things on the tour and you learn so many fun facts about the second oldest stadium in the U.S.

Our Tour Guide, Larry, was awesome! He was energetic, funny, and entertaining! He had answers to everyone’s questions, took our pictures at some iconic parts of the park, and was just really friendly and lovely!! He also gave us some recommendations on where to get a true Chicago hot dog.

Can’t recommend this tour enough! Totally worth it! Plus they give you 10% off some Cubs merchandise when you take the tour. What a deal!!

Iconic ball park

By Susan M |

Great tour. Able to go to the bleachers, upper deck, Cub’s dug out, onto the field by the Ivy wall. Very interesting to hear the history of the park. Very clean ball park. Second oldest in country.

Great game

By TranzorZ1985 |

Great to see a Cardinals Cubs game at Wrigley on a nice day. There are very few bad seats in the house. I recommend for any baseball fan seeing a game at Wrigley at least once. Cardinals won!

Wrigley Field

By Joan V |

Wrigley Field is pure nostalgia! The ivy-covered walls, the electric crowd, and the history make it one of the best ballparks in the country. Even if you're not a Cubs fan, the atmosphere is unbeatable!

Take me out to the ball game

By BlarghBlargh |

It's hard to review seeing as I found baseball incredibly boring! I feel if you're in Chicago or the US in general, going to a ball game should maybe be on your list of things to do to get the full cultural experience. Buying the ticket and getting into the stadium was organised and well managed. There was plenty of food stalls too, but it was incredibly expensive for the quality and what you got. I found the game slow with lots of stops and starts, so found it a bit underwhelming. The singing of "Take me out to the ball game" was a highlight though!

Wrigley Tour

By 2BEis2SKI |

I've been to several games over the years at Wrigley but never done the tour which we did back in Feb. Only $30, we saw the stands, press box, dugout, visitors locker room and several members only clubs under the stands. Lasted about 90 minutes with a pretty good tour guide.

I'm not a Cubs fan (not a hater either) but as a baseball fan, this is one of the last iconic ball parks remaining and definitely worth spending time in any way possible.

Gotta go to Wrigley even if not huge BB fan

By Mark L |

Currently only a minor baseball fan but could not resist going to Cubs game at Wrigley
Great energy and history. Not a great game (Cleveland 4 Cubs 0) but great experience

Go Cubs Go

By Kevin M |

Always great to go to Wrigley just can't do it too often because it is expensive. I was surprised they ran out of simple things like plates/boat treys.

Quick stop

By NatSteveC |

We would have loved to have seen a game here but only had time for a quick stop for some pictures of the famous sign outside. It is a very clean area and looks like a very old, but very well maintained baseball ground. The gift shop was open so we had a quick look but the prices are ridiculous!

Iconic park

By Twinsmom99 |

Iconic ball park to visit when in Chicago! Use public transportation - parking is incredibly difficult and expensive. The bars around the park are so fun for before the game!

Better than Fenway.

By mrjobs2016 |

The Cubs lost to the Cardinals in a Saturday Afternoon game. My wife and I enjoyed it, we both thought it was nicer than Fenway Park. The ivy adds a lot. Enjoyed a beer, not surprisingly it was pricey.

Good time!

By ande67 |

Wonderful time at my first Cubs game!
The gate attendants, concessions, and ushers were all very helpful! I can’t wait to go again!

Baseball Bucket List Item Checked

By Mitch S |

Wrigley is baseball history....The cubs lost but being there was an experience. Right on the red line easy to get to. Just keep in mind as this is an old stadium there will be obstructed seats due to the big metal poles

What are you waiting for? Go see a Cubs game!

By hecubus23 |

First time here after being a life long Cubs fan. Absolutely awesome! Very friendly and helpful staff. Its a great place to watch a ball game!

World Series

By Raul D |

ONLY a few Left like this, pass this area on 22 Bus. There used to be a nice Book Shop close by gone now After the World Series the area has gentrified. Still a little bit left.

Enjoy a day at wrigley field, If the cubbies win, it’s even more fun.

By Jane M |

Love going to wrigley field to see the cubs. Tickets have gotten so expensive that we go once a year now as a family. We do all the traditional things: dress up in our cubby gear, take a photo in front of the iconic sign, have a chicago hotdog and a beer, sing the song at the 7th inning stretch, watch them change the score by hand on the big board. And watch the game and the crowd, of course. Had to fight to get our “first 5000 through the bleacher gate” promo hat this year. There was no mention when you bought the tickets that you had to have bleacher seats to get the promo. So why change the rules when it comes time to pick up the hats? Why put such unpleasantness in what is supposed to be a fun day? I expect better of you.

Awesome seats, awesome time...go see a game.

By deanoisok |

If you don't get to a game a year you are missing out if you like baseball at a historic venue. Get there early and spend some time eating, seeing the history and enjoying the ccx ambiance that is Wrigley Field.

Love Wrigley!

By saturdaydiner |

I've been to a lot of MLB stadiums in my 65 years, and Wrigley is my all time favorite! My wife and I just finished a wuick three night trip to Chicago and a trip to Erigley ( my third) had to be included. The feel, the history, the Chicago style hot dogs, the fans and then a visit to one of the Wrigleyville bars post game. It's the best!

A part of baseball history

By Ryan M |

Not really a Cubs fan (go Dodgers!) but you cannot miss Wrigley Field when you are in town! Fortunately they were playing when we visited, so we got to see them play.
Parking is expensive, but everything else was great!
Tickets weren't too expensive, and the stadium is just amazing! You can definitely see its age in some parts, but they have preserved it well. Good views of the lake from the upper levels.
If you're a baseball fan, you NEED to visit at least once.
Oh yeah, the Wrigley Dogs are delicious!!

One in a Lifetime Experience

By JessaOlson |

This was my first time to Wrigley. I am not a Cubs fan but it was such a good experience. We sat behind home plate in the shade which was amazing because it was super hot. The food was good, and lots of drink variety.

Wrigley Field for football

By Gary D |

Finally visited Wrigley Field, although for a football game, not the Cubbies. Iconic venue that has been well taken care of that leaves a lasting impression.

If you like baseball back of house tour is well worth it

By Sharkey711 |

Back of house tour of baseball ground. Group size of approx 35 people. Even if you’re not a big fan of baseball this is worth seeing but if you are a fan you will appreciate its history even more. Very knowledgeable guide who clearly loved his job. Quite a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes

Cool place

By Lauren Butterfield |

I love going to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. It's one of the best sports venues out there. Tickets can be pretty expensive here but it's quite an experience and the fans are incredible. The food is delious too and such a fun place for any sports lovers.

You can take the train here as well so that's really convienient so you don't have to worry about parking.

Old School Baseball

By UChiAlumni |

Let's Go Cubs! Wrigley is one of my favorite fields in the United States, and part is because of the history of the field (including the goat). Just want to warn visitors and fans this is an old school park so don't expect the same experience as you would at Yankee Stadium.

Beware of ordering from Mobile Service.

By Louise B |

Ordered 3 hot dogs from the mobile site. Received verification the order was received and notice to not leave the seat they were to be delivered to. Sat there for 9 innings and never received the hot dogs. Charge is pending on credit card.

Love Baseball

By Eileen T |

Wrigley is an extremely interesting ballpark to visit. If you love baseball you have to go on the tour & take in a game!

Ballgames are better at Wrigley

By Susan M |

Each visit to Wrigley is a great experience even after lighting was installed. Tradition continues to live at this ballpark.

Great Ballpark

By ASGLondon |

I loved visiting this ballpark!

The atmosphere around the ball park was great. Lots of dining options, shopping, and was easy to get to from the train.

The staff I interacted with were all friendly, there were a lot of options for food in the ballpark, and the facilities were clean. Since the Jays were in town they stocked up on Canadian beer, which the Jays fans appreciated!

The washrooms were clean and modern, which took me for a surprise as I kind of expected century old fixtures.

My seats had a great view and were covered, so I didn't get drenched in the downpour.

Every baseball fan needs to see at least one game here.

A Summer Must!

By AMarie525 |

Awesome experience in a historic stadium! I was in Chicago recently on a work trip and got to go to a Monday night game and the place was packed with locals and tourist as well. This is a must do if you are in town during baseball season just to experience the fun and excitement for the love of baseball. Lots of food stops along the way to and from the stadium and make sure you stop in the Cubbies store to shop.

Best Baseball Experience

By empressellen |

I had been waiting my whole life to visit Wrigley. We went to a Sunday night game. The stadium was packed. The fans are outstanding. The Cubs won, which means the crowd got to sing "Go Cubs Go". No one leaves the stadium until the song has been sung! I sang louder than anyone else! Best baseball experience EVER!

Wrigley Field is Amazing

By TahoegpSA |

In town on vacation and had to go to Wrigley for the first time in over 35 years. Love the old time “feel” of a ballpark in the middle of the neighborhood. Food selection in the park was limited; but, hot dogs, peanuts, and beer were abundantly available. Wrigley / Gallagher’s Plaza was amazing! Got to see Ryne’s Memorial and Statue. Be aware the Rideshares have to drop off a few blocks away.

Dissapointed.

By Alan O |

I wanted to go see the Yanks playing rounders (what ever) anyway tried to book it on the web & they wanted $20 for me to book it. I then tried to go to the park, no joy there, being a tight wadd I gave up. I just think they would make it easy to spend my money, I guess I should have gone, but it's not cheap & I should have just paid up & shut up.

Best!!

By Robyncakes |

I did the tour here recently, such an amazing experience! Does involve a fair amount of stairs. Very worthwhile experience to see the locker room used by Michael Jordan and Babe Ruth, learn about the history of the cubs and the ground. Absolute highlight

A Must if in Chicago

By cherylpd1 |

We had tickets for a game and scheduled a tour for earlier in the morning. Since the team was home, we didn't get to see some areas, but the tour and guide that we had was fun, informative, and interesting. It was great to have a go at the field while being the only outsiders around. We toured the bleacher area, lower and upper decks, a little behind the scenes, and the concourse levels. The game itself is a must, especially if you're a baseball fan as we are. What history! Make sure to check out some of the special ballpark food too. The Italian beef sandwich that I had was delicious.

It could be, it might be... It is! A great tour of America's iconic ballpark

By Disneybus |

My wife and I did the tour one morning while the Cubs were on the road. The tour was wonderful, our hosts were excellent, and the history rekindled nostalgia from another era. The park has gone under major renovations and substantial upgrades from yesterday. Its beautiful! We progressed slowly around the park taking our photos and sitting or stopping several times to learn about the park in its current pristine condition as well as of course its history. Stops included the bleachers where we learned about the bleacher bumbs, the basket, and of course the ivy. We saw and learned about the famous Waveland Avenue and its rooftop bleachers, and walked on the field where we got an ivy leaf souvenir. The tour progressed to the press box, then ended up in the visitor's dugout. Our age and legs couldn't take some of the ramps so Larry was kind to take us up in an elevator; surprising there were no escalators in the park. Not being a baseball fan, my wife was skeptical of taking the tour but really enjoyed the day. We toured Dodger stadium last year, now still need to visit Fenway! Who knew both Al Capone and John Dillinger were Cubs fans!

Beautiful old stadium

By John K |

For a stadium over 100 years old it is well maintained
So much history and great fans

Recently attended a game against the White Sox, their cross town rival, I noticed they were welcome
May cities with two teams can have a fan base that can be disconcerting to the othe fans

Chicago was very welcoming

Surrounded by Wrigleyville we found great food, and fan fair

I am now crossing out stadium number 21 off my list as I will continue to review

great atmosphere and food

By Brad M |

we finally got Wrigley off our bucket list, beautiful field and stadium, its was a nice warm day, it was an exciting game which came down to the last at bat unfortunatly the cubs lost 2-1 to the cardinals, what more could you ask for? Great food baby!! The loaded foot long hotdog is the best i've ever had and trust me i've had hundreds of em, after you get your dog they have trays of goodies if you want even more stuff like fresh tomato's, chopped onions and my favorite spears of delicious dill pickles, most stadiums just have the usual mustard, ketchup and relish, the prices their were also pretty good too compared to most...get ready for this Chicago the next day we went to your fabled Superdogs and it was good but Wrigley's dogs are insanely good

LOVE THE CHICAGO CUBS

By Terri S |

HIstory, History!! We loved the tour of Wrigley Field. The tour Guide Larry was very accommodating, helping with the wheel chair. You can ask as many questions you can and he will know the answer.

Terrible isn’t a strong enough word

By Madison B |

Where do I even start. I am from Ontario and bought tickets to see a concert at Wrigley Field. I was so so excited and thought it would be awesome to come and then spend a few extra days in Chicago. Well then Covid happened and I first post-poned to the date the following year hoping the border would be open, but unfortunately it still isn’t. I reached out to get a refund as I would obviously not be able to attend the concert. I got a response saying that a refund would be issued to the original payment card - however, I quickly responded and informed them that this bank account had been compromised a few months prior so I had to close all accounts and ended up switching banks. I waited weeks, no response. Emailed again, no response. Called and left a message, no response. Called again and left another message, no response. This is completely embarrassing and unacceptable. I am now out $400 because they don’t have the balls to even call or email me back. Embarrassing. 👏🏻Do👏🏻Better👏🏻.

an experience!

By TECinSD |

If you happen to be in town when there is a game, I highly recommend it for the experience. We had the Uber drop us off a few blocks away from Wrigley field so we could walk up with all the locals and take in the atmosphere.

A baseball must

By Scott O |

Got to visit with my Dad & Sons for a day game. Enjoyed the ball park very much. Easy to get to by train and the staff is the most friendly I've meet at any stadium. Got there early and walked all the way around which is easy to do then went in and explored the inside. Had a great time hope to get back again.

Great Tour

By M M |

What fun we had on the Wrigley Stadium Tour! It was informative as well as entertaining. We all had great time! (A fair number of steps, but worth it!!)

Wonderful Game with the Cubs

By barkonbutts |

A great experience, clean, nice staff, cold beverages and at your fingertip. take the train for easy on and off!

What more do you need to know.

By WIll D |

I mean, it's Wrigley. IF you can catch a game when you're int own, you will not be disappointed. We bought cheap seats ($62) and never went to them. We walked into the main entrance behind home plate and walked along the 100 level concourse along the 3rd base line towards the Hornito's Tequila balcony. It' standing room right on the 3rd base line and is a great spot to enjoy some drinks, watch the game and maybe catch a fly. Keep those eyes open!

Watching football from the bleachers in Wrigley

By Taylor B |

Football in Wrigley Field? In the 1950s, my father and I watched the Cleveland Browns beat the Chicago Bears in an NFL game in the hallowed Friendly Confines. We were sitting in the right field upper deck. In those days, where the Bears played before moving to Soldier Field, the football field was laid out from north to south, from the left field bleachers to the first base dugout. On this occasion, for a Northwestern/Minnesota game, the field was laid out from east to west, from the third base dugout to the right field bleachers. No matter. It is a surreal feeling to watch a football game in Wrigley Field. From the bleachers, where I once observed a Dodgers/Cubs doubleheader. The temperature was in the 80s on that occasion. Today, it was 47. But Northwestern won 38-35. So all is right with the world.

Fan Friendly and close to the action..........

By Charles S |

I recently spent a fabulous weekend in Chicago and stayed at the Loews Hotel. Upon our arrival, we decided at the last minute to go to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs vs. Pirates. We asked the Hotel Concierge to see if she could find 4 excellent seats for the game on such late notice. Within minutes, she went on the Cubs website and secured 4 tickets to the game. We took an Uber to Wrigley Field and arrived in time for the 1st inning. So cool to say the least. The fans were friendly and the Cubs announcer was extremely engaged with the fans. Fun times for all. My only complaint is that there are wide columns in Wrigley that hinder your views of the game if you are sitting near any of them. Our tickets were behind home plate one section up and some 4-5 rows behind one of the columns and several of us kept moving our heads to the left and right just to see the field. No where on the tickets did it say "partially obstructed view". I was extremely upset that the obstructed view was NOT on their website. So, if you plan on attending a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, make sure you don't have an obstructed view of the playing field. Enjoy!!! Great time was had by all.

Just a great ballpark

By Matthew M |

Ridiculously charming. I had been to Fenway several times and thought it had the most character of any ballpark and now realize it was a pretty far second. Wrigley Field is old and distinctive and integrated directly with the city. Very clean and yet not sterile. Wonderful environment to watch a game. If anything too charming/perfect, if that's a thing. Parking seems tricky- we splurged and paid a lot for parkign right up close but I might research parking a little before you go.

Step into these hallowed halls and you won’t be disappointed.

By stonecoldmark0316 |

Iconic Wrigley Field, a must do while in Chicago.

We decided to do a tour of this iconic Ballpark on a non-game day. You get to see more of the park on those days including the visitors locker room and the Press Box.

The All-Star Break just started. They had a game the day before we did the tour.

John (whom we estimated was around 80) hosted a fabulous tour loaded with history, antidotes and facts that are just astounding, but never boring.

While not a huge baseball fan, I love visiting iconic places. Places that appear in movies or whatever.

This tour was 90 minutes of amazing, even for a non baseball fan. You star off in the stands, visit the famous ivy wall (don’t touch it) visit the bleachers, visitors locker room, the field and press box.

When standing in the visitor locker room and hearing the names of some of the greatest ball players that ever played stood in this very room is emotional even if you are not a fan, the names have transcended the sport and are history.

We had a great time, it’s totally worth it. There is free parking (at least it was the day we were there) about a block or two away from the stadium.

The team store had the most incredible selection of merchandise, including the use of older logos on shirts, hats and stickers.

Step into these hallowed halls and you won’t be disappointed.

If you want to see a Baseball game in America, You need to go to Wrigley. Period.

By amy099 |

There is NO stadium that compares with Wrigley. It is an icon for baseball and sports. Catch a day game. Come early and hang out a one of MANY bars outside the stadium. Then grab and dog or brat or italian beef in the stadium.

The Legend Stadium

By Frederic B |

As part of a visit to Chicago in the summer, this is the typical experience of US sports culture
The atmosphere during evening games is special
Of course, knowing at least the rules is a plus.
And above all, do not miss the 7th inning stretch; everyone stands up (40,000 people) and sings in heart:
Take me out to the ball game

Pretty Cool

By Terri P |

I love the way this iconic stadium is integrated into the surrounding neighborhood. It is an upbeat and vibrant vibe. Both historic and modern.

A great tour

By partonj |

Very informative tour, knowledgeable tour guide, forgotten her name sorry. Lovely stadium, lots of history and you get to visit lots of areas of the stadium apart from the home changing rooms. We had a fun time and took loads of photos.

Dead and Company!

By TravelDoc356 |

Wrigley is always one of our favorite places to go see a concert. Although it is an old facility, the staff always seem to make it easy for us to enter and get around. The lines are intimidating at first, but I have always moved very efficiently! The acoustics are above average for a baseball type stadium concert setting. I will certainly come back for more concerts in the future.

Wrigley Field stadium visit

Family visit to the stadium
A very interesting visit
Shorter than most stadium tours I have encountered but nevertheless worthwhile
Not the cheapest tour
Tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable

A classic

By TAMAN1951 |

A great ball park in every sense. Great his and I love the way it is intertwined into the local community.

Great bars and restaurants and the roof top viewing areas make this a special park.

The way it was and the way it is

By Taylor B |

The last time I attended a major league baseball game at Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs, there was no jumbotron in left field, no video scoreboard in right field, Harry Caray was singing the seventh inning stretch, there were no statues of Hall of Fame players outside the stadium and the Cubs were still in quest of their first World Series championship since 1908. How times have changed. Yes, there still is ivy draped on the outfield walls. But there is a new face on the old lady. Since the Ricketts family purchased the Cubs and Wrigley Field in 2009, the new ownership has pursued an extensive renovation of the stadium and surrounding venue. At the outset, the 1060 Project was projected to cost $575 million and was to be completed in four phases during consecutive off-seasons. The proposal included improvements to the stadium's facade, infrastructure, restrooms, concourses, suites, press box, bullpens and clubhouses. Also the addition of restaurants, patio area, batting tunnels, a 5,700-square-foot jumbotron and adjacent hotel, plaza and office/retail complex. The project began after the 2014 season and the Ricketts family has kept its promise. A Cubs fan who recalls the days of Dee Fondy, Wayne Terwilliger, Harry Chiti, Roy Smalley, Hank Sauer, Paul Minner, Dutch Leonard, Bob Rush and Johnny Klippstein doesn't recognize the place. Even the hot dogs taste better. The improvements include a 2,400-square-foot video scoreboard in right field, a 3,990-square-foot jumbotron in left field, new locker rooms and lounges, expansion of the left field and right field bleachers, a 30,000-square-foot Cubs clubhouse and areas for strength, conditioning, training and hydrotherapy sections, media center and team offices, statues of broadcaster Harry Caray and Hall of Famers Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ferguson Jenkins and Ron Santo were installed outside the stadium (the statue of Ryne Sandberg was added on June 23), luxury suites, Hotel Zachary, premier luxury clubs, padded seats behind home plate, replacement of the outfield turf, repainting of the old center field scoreboard, expansion and renovation of the visiting team clubhouse and installation of five display cases containing Cubs and Wrigley Field history and plaques honoring the 15 Cubs who have been elected to major league baseball's Hall of Fame. For a stadium that was built in 1914 -- the second oldest stadium in major league baseball, after Boston's Fenway Park -- Wrigley Field is no longer showing its age.

First time here...

By Ed O |

50 of us came from out of town to watch our out of state home team play a few games. At first glance inside I felt like I was back in a 1956 Seattle Rainer baseball stadium. Enjoyed the game and glad to be here for the first time. We were seated below the scoreboard and it was a real trip going to the bathroom... taking a elevator, going down 2 stars of steps, walking past the from entrance than up a ramp. Buying a Chicago dog was a real adventure because not knowing that when one gets a hot dog you must crown in another area to put your items on it. Enjoyed the visit. Leaving after the game took over 1 hour to take a regulat 15 minute drive.

Take me out to Wrigley!

By Allan |

The only place that even comes close to the quintessential baseball experience is Fenway in Boston. Can you say iconic landmark? I knew you could.

Great tour

By cbalraj |

This ballpark is filled with such history. We got to see everything except the Cubs locker room. The tour guide was amazing and had many wonderful stories.

CUBS GAME

By lindamD5059ZB |

Go early, they shut down the streets before and after the game. Need to walk a few blocks to catch a Uber.

Back Again

By Jim T |

Anytime I can squeeze in a game at Wrigley when I am in Chicago, I'll do it. And if that game is against the Brewers I am there! This was maybe my tenth game there over the years and it is always an experience. The second oldest stadium still in use (Fenway Park in Boston is older), it shows its age, but like the grande old dame she is, always is a fun time. Just plan ahead on how to get there as parking can be expensive.

wonderful time

By Daniela D |

It is a beautiful experience, all employees are nice and helpful , I really like see the game and all players , many of them are really nice .

Cubs v Washington Nationals - Wrigley Field is the best place!!

By Shed1965 |

Fantastic stadium and game. We sat infield and the atmosphere was super. You really need to give this a try. The people of Chicago are so friendly and the sport itself is really entertaining if us Brits actually give it a chance. Take me out to the ballgame at the bottom on of the 7th and Go Cubs Go if there is a W are such great adrenaline rushes. Yes it’s a long game but the ballpark food is super and the entertainment keeps going between innings on the screens etc.

My sons first time at Wrigley

By TyH |

What can I say ... Hands downs the best atmosphere to enjoy a Baseball game, Bonus the Cubs won, A must see when you visit the Windy city

A Great Night

By abroadwithashley |

Only one of us is a lover of baseball, but it was still a great evening. It probably helped that the Cubbies won that night! But the stadium is amazing - no such thing as a bad seat. The only downsides - limited menu (we've been spoiled with vegan food and alcohol-free beer at other stadiums) and the traffic when you're leaving.

Stray Kids Dominate Concert

By Amber S |

Wrigley Field Staff were all so energetic and pleasant! From the workers collecting trash, to the gate workers, and security, everyone was so nice and helpful. The bathroom even had a worker making sure everyone was feeling okay, able to cool down, and complimented people on their outfits! The venue was prepared, organized, and allowed the fans to enjoy Stray Kids to the fullest! The sound, cameras, screens, visual effects, and fireworks were all top notch! I'm so glad Wrigley Field was my venue on this tour!

A classic park to visit

By NCSoccerDad |

We have been going to games in baseball stadiums around the country. It was great to catch a Cubs game at Wrigley. Although it does not have all of the amenities and features of the new parks it is nice to see a game in such a historic stadium. The weather was fantastic and the game was good despite a loss by the Cubs. This is a must visit for any true baseball fan.

Welcoming to fans from out of state

By joyceTL4 |

There is free parking in a lot where a shuttle will pick you up and drop you off right in front of the stadium. Google it for how to get there. The stadium is so iconic. Smaller and not new-ish like other stadiums but shouts with history. We went as far down as we could go to get a nice photo with the field and screen in the rear. While there the usher found out it was our anniversary and gave us a sticker to wear that proclaimed that which was so nice of her! As we walked around, with our Phillies shirts on, other Cubs workers wished us happy anniversary too. We were also told about going to get our first visit certificate. You get in line and they print out your name and date on a photo of the Stadium for free. What a wonderful momento. Our seats were up the top tier and we were able to see the plays fine and enjoyed seeing the sky scrapers in the background distance. The gift shop was 2 levels and had all sorts of cool merchandise. We bought the hotdogs and added all the fixings for our Chicago dogs which were very good. All in all we had a wonderful time at this beautiful ball park and the fans were very classy.
