I grew up going to JC and went back for the first time after many years. I remember the downtown area being nothing but the Hands On Museum (which was awesome, btw!). I absolutely love what they're doing to the downtown area and I love this brewery. The beer was fantastic, love that it's connected to easy access to a great restaurant. The outdoor area is great and even inside is cool Definitely a fun experience and so great to see JC thriving.

Popped in early evening and had some beers on the patio. Service was great, beers were tasty and flowing. My favorites were the Eighty and Dunkle but all beers I tried were solid. Equipped with Taco counter next door, the vibes were just right for a nice summer evening.

Coming back from Nashville I found place on line and I'm glad I did. You can eat inside or out very nice looking place and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also have a taco restaurant affiliated with them and the tacos were delicious. Highly recommend.

During a day trip from Banner Elk, NC to Johnson City, TN found this brewery! Nice place for a cold craft beer and some great tacos. Excellent service too! Will go again when in the area. Greast first time or anytime!

We love YeeHaw beer, so we decided to make the 2 hour drive to the Brewery. It's probably one of the nicest tap rooms I've EVER been too. The outside offers a huge firepit with comfy patio furniture that's also dog friendly...but the inside is amazing. They have a taco place that's connected that my family loved, I just went for the beer!!! Make it a MUST beer stop while driving to your destination if you can!!

Did a moon shining tasting with Shane and he ROCKED! Must go place in Nashville! 10 tastings for $10! He even hooked us up with a coupon

If you like tacos with a twist of fusion and flare you will enjoy this place. Great atmosphere and friendly service.

This brewery has excellent beers by even better is the outdoor patio space. Comfy chairs, couches, fire pits and more add to the ambiance and comfort.

Really a great place to hang out with friends and drink some good beer. If your hungry you can go to white duck taco and get some good food.

Great beer selection! Great service and atmosphere! Highly recommend the Dunlap, Eighty, Pilsner, winter porter, well...everything! We will return!

I stopped in to the brewery shortly after its grand opening and was pleasantly surprised. The interior and ambiance of the whole place are awesome - tons of room to sit and hang out with friends (including the cool outdoor firepit), and lots of activities (ski-ball, bubble hockey, etc.). The taco shop attached to it was also delicious - I suggest the Bangkok Shrimp Taco. Overall, this is a great place to grab a beer and some food on your lunch break, or to sit and chill for an evening with friends. I can't wait to go back!

Big fan of this brewery. They make some of the tastiest beer I've ever had. It's nice inside and comfortable. Staff has always been nice.

the deco is beautiful ,,, staff was very friendly the food was great.. and they even let me do a taste testing on their beer to see which 1 I liked...if you have not been here yet you really need to put it on your to do list

Should enjoy the atmosphere here, and beer is good!! Games to play. Popcorn to eat. Comfortable couches, and patio furniture and awesome bar chairs.

Great place for natural brewed bear. White Duck taco's leave something to be desired. Recommend liquid refreshments only.

Very good beer, and simple, but awesome food!! Don’t expect a huge menu ... they serve primarily tacos ... BUT, they have all kinds of different varieties of gourmet tacos!! Absolutely delicious. Loved the Pale Ale and the IPA!! Great place!!

Arrived at lunch time, the place was busy, the staff was courteous and efficient. The bartender enjoys his job and was attentive to the customers and when he wasn't pouring drinks he was entertaining customers or cleaning up. The beer was very good and included a wide variety of types and strengths, there is something for everyone. This place is roomy, the restrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was cheerful and friendly. I would definitely return if I ever pass through this way again.

Open, sprawling and inviting, this brewery is a great place to grab a cold one and chillax! Try the double IPA (Heavy Hopper) and the dunkel. Great place, great people and great Mexican food right on site. I’ll be back!

They opened about 4 weeks ago and are off to a great start. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our waiter Austin was fantastic. Plenty of suggestions and samples to help you decide. The manager was awesome too. She not only recommended a place to eat, she ran over and made us a reservation.

Loved the varieties of fresh beer brewed as premise. Old brick building with fun games and great atmosphere. You will love it!

We hung out here after eating some tacos. Great beer selection with knowledgeable employees - they were very helpful!
My only issue was the temperature. It was a cold January day and it felt no warmer indoors.
Enjoyed the skeeball!

New brewery in JC. It's very spacious inside and out. Lots of out door seating with fire pits and heaters. The beers are great. The staff is super friendly and attentive.
Very cool atmosphere. Patrons are encouraged to mix and mingle due to the seating of large tables and couches, and a long bar. There are a few tvs but this is a social space. There is also a taco shop located in the same building.
Free popcorn.

Yee haw has some great beer, and the taproom is a great location to hang out. Comfy inside, great outdoor patio and love the bocce court. Plus the white duck tacos are pretty amazing as well.

My husband and I stopped here prior to a concert in town and had a great time sitting in the patio to have a few drinks. We're avid craft beer drinkers and my husband is a brewer himself and we were happy with the selection here. Although there weren't very many creative brews, the menu was stacked with solid, on style beers. Of all the styles we tasted, we were happy with all but one, which is impressive! This is a great place for people looking for a great atmosphere, and tasty beers!

A great variety of house crafted beers.
Beyond being great tasting, the Dunkel is award winning! Highly recommend!

I ate my tacos from the White Duck next door and enjoyed a flight of brews as well as another glass of the Munich Dunkel. I sat at the bar, watched some college football and talked off on and on with the very attentive bartenders. Unfortunately they were out of the seasonal Oktoberfest that night, which was a pretty popular request all evening. I tried a flight to start - 3 eight-ounce glasses - the Pilsner, the Koelsch and the Berliner Weisse flavored with blackberry. All were unique in taste with rather bitter finishes, too bitter for my liking. I ordered another Dunkel and watched some football.
The bar has plenty of seating both indoors and out, with large common tables as well as several couches and large TV's.
I would definitely return and try another three beers off their extensive selection of nine different beers.

Great place. Loved the blue berry mojito. Mollie was a great server vary fast and friendly. all Mollie's drink suggestions we're awesome.
thanks for the great time 😊😆😀

Always a good place to sit back and relax. Their service is friendly and the food is good. Of course there are the micro-brews. Some of the best micro brews around. Worth a stop and definitely worth the price.

I visited a friend that lives in Johnson City and she took me to Yee Haw. This is a great spot to hang out and drink some beers with your friends! Great outdoor patio with awesome fire pit. I tried the Dunkel, Pale Ale and Eighty. All of them were great, but the Dunkel was my favorite! Next time I visit I want to go on the tour! When are you all coming to Atlanta?!?

They have a decent selection of beer and the two I tried, the Oktoberfest and the Köolsch, were on point. We shall tried the bulgogi and lamb gyro tacos, both of which were delicious, as was the chips and queso, although I was bummed the "chips" mostly consisted of crumbs. Great ambiance and friendly staff.

This place was really bustling the night that I was here. It was a really nice, spring evening and so lots of people were taking advantage of the outdoor space and hanging out by the fire pit outside.
I love the communal style of the place and how alive it felt. The beer was really good, with a wide selection of styles. This was great, because I love to try different styles of beer. They had a food truck parked out front and White Duck Taco next door (or kind of inside, as there is no real wall separating the two spaces) offering food that they bring right over to you in the brewery.
I had a great evening at this brewery.

Stopped by the brewery in Pigeon Forge located at The Island. Very helpful and friendly staff. We’ve been all over the country chasing hoppy beers. Their IPA is ranked up there as one of the best we’ve had! A must stop if in the area.

If you are in the area, don't miss Yee Haw Brewing Company in downtown Johnson City. They always have a great selection of on site brewed beers, White Duck Taco next door, and a great outside dog friendly patio!

The fire pit outside goes well with any number of the brews; excellence in service, music diversity a plus and as homey as your living room; with multiple taps!

The staff is very nice and does a great job. The beers are just OK. Not bad, but not special in my opinion. They're targeting the masses and thus i think the beers are plain such that no one will dislike them. That said the 80 is the better of the four mainstays they have. If they start getting more creative with the seasonal brews i'll come back and give them a try.

They have a nice space, some games to play, fire pit outside. The beer is very good. The only issue is how many children dominate the place. If you are wanting an adult hang out you should go somewhere else unless it's super late.

Awesome place for beer. Always had great beer on tap and cool place to hang out. Glad to see more breweries coming to Johnson city

The building and the patio are a lovely setting for some delicious microbrews. While sitting around the Tennessee themed firepit, I honestly turned to my sister and said I felt like I was living in a dream because the setting was THAT perfect. The beers are good but the best by far is the blackberry berliner weiss. It's tart and refreshing. Soooooo good. Have a few on the patio and just enjoy life!

Yee Haw recently moved in to downtown Johnson City. While it is a big plus for the area to get some more of its own local beer, Yee Haw has a lot of room for improvement.
The atmosphere is okay. They opted for a newer style that emphasizes an industrial look. Unfortunately, this leads to two problems for a drinking house: noise and discomfort. The space emphasizes a preference on larger groups, with spaced out sofas and large tables. This is fine, unless you just want to go there with a friend or two. If that is the case, be prepared to sit at the bar, outside, or in the attached White Duck Taco Shop.
The beer is also a bit average. Yee Haw is off to a good start. To be my beer of choice, however, they need to focus less on bold initial flavor and more on building a more complex experience for the pallet. I am not a beer aficionado by any means, but I have had several more enjoyable beers from Johnson City Brewing than Yee Haw over the past several months.
I am excited to see where Yee Haw goes, and I hope I can revisit this review with some positive updates. For now, though, I will stick with Atlantic Ale House and Johnson City Brewing Company.

YeeHaw is a wonderful place to enjoy a craft beer and relax. Sit at the bar or on one of the comfortable couches. We didn't try the White Duck Taco restaurant next door.. but its on our to do list.

I was travelling from Indiana awhile back and I heard about Yee Haw Brewing Company from a friend. He knew I liked dunkel styles of beer, so he told me to stop and try the one they offer. I am glad I did. The place is fantastic. Great atmosphere, polite staff with excellent customer service. I was also able to try the Scottish Export 80 Shilling and the American Pale Ale. All 3 beers I had were top-notch. The staff know their beer, that gives me confidence in what they sell.
Dunkel- A nice, easy-drinking beer. Malty with hints of caramel and cocoa. Smooth finish.
American Pale Ale - Just the right amount of hoppiness, with a nice sweet finish. A very clean and refreshing beer.
Eighty - Semi-sweet with a touch of toffee and a hint of butterscotch. A nice dry finish with subtle hops that resonate perfectly with this style of beer.
I just saw they have a Berliner Weiss as a seasonal beer. Looks like I need to make my way back down this summer!

The outdoor space takes Yeehaw to another level. The front has great views of downtown and features various seating around a large fire pit. If you're up for some fun, the back has more great downtown views, with a bocce ball court by the train tracks. You can play a round or two, drink a Dunkel, and see people walking in Founders Park.

Could really enjoy spending a lazy afternoon drinking a beer or two and eating a taco or two! Good service, pretty decent beer, and a cool place.

Such a fun venue with games, moonshine tastings and local beer. Our group of friends had the best night and great service from Amber.

My family and I are big fans of Yee-Haw Brewing ever since they opened up and got connected with the big racetrack across town. We make a plan to stop every time we are in town for the races - twice a year. That never seems like enough, but thankfully we can purchase six packs to take back home.
They have their four standard brews and several rotating brews based on the season. The staff is very friendly and always willing to answer questions about the beer if you are having trouble making a decision. Then again, if your can't make a decision there is always the four beer flight option!
The building is very well done in a rustic style. Plenty of seating indoor and out, as well as lots of fire pit action for those cold visits.
Gotta love the complimentary popcorn to snack on while consuming the devil juice. They have also recently started a late night bar food appetizer menu.
Great beer, YEEHAW!!!!

Enjoy going to this place with family. Grab a couple of sampler FLIGHTS with wide choice of IPAs and Lagers. Taco shop - wide varieties of Taco munchies with the beer. Great ambience outside with huge fire pit, as well as lots of seating. Enjoy with my wife and two daughters- where we get caught up with lots of things!! Recommend visiting!

Dylan was great. The moonshine was delicious (apple pie was my favorite). The value of $10 for a tasting is so worth it. Don’t miss out!!!

Really enjoyed this spot with some local fam we have there. Great beer selection and relaxing seating. Was so chill, I totally forgot to play the bubble hockey they had there... Which is amazing in itself. Velvet charm and dunkle Bier was very good. Only had the chips and salsa with queso also. Very good. Relaxed.
Went midweek and a but early in evening.

We spent the night in Johnson City while traveling from Columbus, OH to Asheville, NC. We always like checking out local breweries.
Yee Haw was awesome. It was a warm night, and we sat outside by the fire pit. I had a flight; my friend a couple of pints. The beer selection was varied and tasty.
We ordered a few tacos and chips & salsa from next door. They were very good. There was also a food truck onsite.
We were impressed with our visit and hope to return someday.

Love visiting craft breweries. Most have pretty basic customer areas, but Yee Haw has one of the most inviting customer areas I have ever enjoyed. Great beer, comfortable seating areas, interesting lighting, free popcorn, bocci outside. Loved the samplers, the atmosphere and the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely going back... again and again and again.

Great environment with plenty of outdoor seating and fire pits. Open bar area with a lot of TVs and several games that can be played inside and out. The draft beer selection is great with several choices and types. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Went to hear some bands and the location does well to fit large (6 members) in it and still have a good sound. The food was delicious. The tacos are some of the best I've ever had. Staff was very nice and helpful. Décor very nice. Will go again.

Yee Haw Brewery is the hottest place in Johnson City. The beers are so different, it might take you a couple of samples to figure out which one is for you. No worries. They will give you samples until you find the one you like. Once you do, you'll be hooked.

I love going to Yee Haw every time I'm in Johnson City. The service is friendly and prompt, and the beer is even better....I'm a fan of the Eighty! Tacos next door are very good, and really not that expensive. A really nice outdoor patio, and games indoors with boccia court make this fun for almost all ages. You should definitely try it when you are in downtown JC.

Stopped in after a day of exploring Johnson City. Fantastic atmosphere, great music. Beer was very good. The outdoor patio was also a nice touch. Has a very modern industrial vibe. Will definitely be back with friends again.

Man, this place is wonderful. The beer is great. You can sit inside at couches or tables, or outside where there's a big fire pit. You can drive and park, or even bike. While the staple beers are great, the seasonal beers have been fantastic and worth a try! They have popcorn and ski ball; you may find kids there in afternoons and evenings. White Duck Taco is connected too, if you have a craving. Overall, a must stop in Johnson City.

Really loved everything about it! The atmosphere, decor, beer: all amazing!! Saw Kaitlyn Baker there, great facility for live music.

Only reason for 3 is I didn't eat (tacos looked great) and only had 4 beers on tap.
The 3 I tried where good, just not enough selection.
Will edit after next visit for fish tacos and a beer
Stop in and enjoy the place, staff seemed happy dealing with customers
Defiantly try it out...

This place is connected to White Duck Taco and is so good! They have so many beers and the actual space is so great and well done!

We were in town for an event and heard about Yee Haw. For what we were looking for this place fit the bill perfectly. Cool atmosphere. Neat building and bar setup. Good place to just chill. Beer is good too.
I really only have 2 complaints:
1. They close at 10 on weekends.
2. $5 for a pint (seemed smaller than a pint). Just a touch steep, but wouldn't stop me from going back.

Love this brewery. Great beers, friendly staff! I tried Easy and Eighty and both were delicious... I always enjoy Yee Haw when in the area!

Been wanting to check this place out and I was not disappointed! Great place to gather! You can order food next door and bring it over to the brewery to enjoy with your favorite beverage! If you don't know what your favorite is....you can sample and trust me, you will find a favorite!

Our family visited Yee Haw Brewing Company while staying the night in Johnson City. The parking lot for the building is not very large but there are plenty of other parking options in the surrounding area. We stopped and ordered food at the White Duck Taco Shop within the complex. There are some tables inside and quite a few outside on a large patio area. They had large tv’s playing college football games and some arcade games. The brewery has a long bar with plenty of bartenders to assist. Also in the parking lot was an ice cream truck that had some incredible cookie sandwiches and ice cream combinations. Afterwards we walked around at Founders Park just behind the building. We left absolutely stuffed but extremely happy with our visit.

The brewery is spotless. The taproom is amazing and unlike any I have been to in the area. They play awesome 90s music over Pandora and the beer is some of the best that I have had. Do yourself a favor and pay these guys a visit. It's one of those cool places that you can go with friends, go to on a date, or take the kids for the afternoon.

Old depot spot in between tracks, outstanding beers (recommend starting with a flight of three)...patio shaded in late afternoon...perfect weather on 1st day of Sept.

We are the typical Saturday afternoon, chill at the bar type people. This is a good place to drink great beer, meet other people who love beer and chillax.
We did all ten selections via the flite. There were other people doing the same and we all chatted about the beers.
I am not an IPA person but their Double was amazingly good!
The only one I did not care for was the Berry one.
I could drink Eighty anywhere at anytime. The big surprise was the Scottish Ale. It was crazy good!
These peeps know what they are doing! I order their Dunkel and Eighty when we go out to restaurants. Their beer is awesome, employees knowledgeable, the place is cool to hang out at. Don’t forget to try that Scottish Ale (velvet).

Stopped for a quick tour of the brewery with Daughter and friends. Then some fun time at the Tap room of this fast growing Brewery. Had some Mexican food from the next door Taco shop to go with one of my favorite East Tn. beers. A little cold for outdoor seating but did enjoy seeing the big outdoor fire pit. A must see when in the area.

My husband and I decided to visit some breweries in Johnson City. It's not too far from I-81 and after some research found 3 breweries located within just minutes of each other here. So on our way to the Smoky Mountains we planned to take a break from our drive and try some beer. Yee Haw was our first stop, mostly because they have food here. We shared a few flights while we ate our tacos from White Duck Taco. Honestly, the beer was just average but if I lived nearby it would be a neat place to hang out. The building itself is gorgeous. They have a few games inside. Skee Ball is one that stood out to me. And there is a pretty patio with what looked to be a giant fire pit.

This place is awesome. The selection is excellent, plus it's great to have the exclusive beers they offer only at the brewery. It's perfect to chill with friends or your significant other, enjoy a great beer and relax! Definitely worth a stop.

We were fortunate to stop at Yee-Haw during our annual trip up from Florida with friends. Wow! What a cool brewery! We tried each of their expertly brewed beers and all of them were superb, although the Dunkel was my favorite. Even the pickiest beer drinkers in our bunch were more than impressed. The comfortable seating and friendly atmosphere kept our group entertained for hours. Attentive, knowledgable staff and all-around great experience. Can't wait to go back.

Awesome moonshine tasting!! Great service! Cool atmosphere! Beer was pretty good too! Merchandise was really cool and varied!

The building alone is a must to see, such a good renovation of an old historical train depot. There is a nice outdoor area and the White Duck Taco is connected for some excellent food. There is a bountiful selection of well brewed ales and an ever flowing supply of popcorn. There are some games and TV's. It's just a great place to hang out and relax.

Stopped in here Saturday night to show family one of our local breweries and the downtown area. They had a good crowd with a band playing. Even though it had been raining we were able to find a dry spot on the patio near the spectacular fire pit. They have free popcorn to munch on so we had some with a few beers. After an hour or so we decided to order and try a taco fro White Duck Taco which is located in the brewery. I had the fish one and everyone else in our party had the bean/cheese and the tofu. Everyone agreed they were delicious. Service was fast for the food. The bar was a wait time of about 5 minutes and we did not see any wait staff attending the tables.
We had an enjoyable time and will return. Nice to have good places downtown now. Thanks Yee Haw!

Yee Haw is just terrific, and well deserving of a visit. (It was a great break from the long drive from the Smokies up to Virginia.) The brewpub is wonderful, as is the outdoor seating; great to see the old Tweetsie rail station that it's in so lovingly restored. And the beers don't disappoint; the Octoberfest is as good as anything that Munich produces!

It was a cold and blustery Friday night, but the atmosphere was warm and the beer and tacos were fantastic. There was a good crowd and live music and a great atmosphere. White Duck Tacos was just through the door and delivered to your table. I had the Yee Haw 80 Scotch Ale and the Pork Belly tacos and I cannot say enough about both. I have been a fan of Yee Haw for years. We had a blast and I can't wait to return. A word of caution, however, parking is pretty darned tight (especially on weekends) so be prepared to walk a bit. The combination of a dearth of parking and the popularity of all of Johnson City's downtown night life can be a little challenging.

Went for a fundraiser for the washington county humane society. Great atmosphere, food & drinks! The firepit was great since it was cool outside plus you can play cornhole out back.

Stopped by the brewery to try the local brew while in the city. After waiting at the bar for 10 minutes being ignored by the bartender my wife and I walked out. Can't say anything about the beer. Didn't get to try it. Wasn't even busy on a Saturday afternoon.

A very nice place to go to kill some time, drink and listen to some music. The beers are great and we really enjoyed or time here! Would definitely come back! Highly recommend coming here!!

The beers offered at Yee-Haw were much better than anticipated given their local-yokel name. Also the tacos provided by the shop next door are much better than your usual nondescript Mexican fare.
Self-service throughout, but nicely done.

Mary Kate is the one you should be going with for a moonshine tasting. She's loads of fun and alot of hype. Ask her about her travels and pupusas!
Autumn and Patty are the ones to see about beer! Those trio of ladies make this brewery tons or fun! The beers are great the moonshine is great. But if you're here and find yourself wanting to have a great time and not looking for a good time those are the ones you ask for!

When we travel we like to stop in and try local brews. Both my wife and myself like IPA's as they are very hoppy. Yee Haw had some good brews and we only stayed for 1 beer, we were with another couple and 3 of us had the Yee Haw IPA beer and 1 had the Yee Haw Dunkel beer. Very nice place and they also serve food, we did not order as we just came from another place where we had eaten.

We just started trying this place and now it's our favorite place to just hang out together and relax and talk. The service is great and the beer is too! And I love the view of the old buildings all around!

Yeehaw is a quintessential microbrewery that not only has great beer but is a great place to hang with your friends. You can sit at the bar, at a table or on the patio. If it's a chilly evening, relax by the fire. Enjoy the brews and some delicious food from White Duck taco. It's a great stop before or after eating at one of the many great restaurants in Johnson City that are within walking distance. If you are visiting or passing through, Yeehaw must be in your list of not to miss breweries in JC.

Visited when it first opened. Love the dark beers. They only had four beers to choose from at first but I believe they have more now. Need to go back

Great Atmosphere .. service excellent .. nice place to meet with friends and family as we did for a late supper after a family reunion .. we had a blast

YeeHaw is hands down my favorite craft brew location. Love the environment, the staff is very knowledgeable-nice-helpful, and the craft brews are top notch! YeeHaw eighty, winter ale, and Velvet Charmer are my favorite.

This place has it all -- a good selection of brews, fun games (both inside and out) and a taco shop on sight. I'm so glad we stopped here on our weekend road trip! The popcorn and ski ball were big hits with our teenagers.

We loved hanging out here with a few flights and then pints of all the goodness these folks brew. It's all fantastic, and they have styles to fit every type of beer drinker. The bar and seating area are huge, so there's plenty of space for everyone. There are also some couches around the TV if you want to catch a game, as well as a huge patio outside. Can't wait to go back, thanks y'all!

We (a group of 8 or so) visited the Yee-Haw Brewery as part of a business that carries their beer in Knoxville.
The tour was interesting and informative for casual beer drinkers and connoisseurs alike. Our tour guide was engaging and made the tour very interactive with samples of hops, barley, and tastings. They have outdoor space with a bocce ball court, cornhole, a huge fire pit, and ample seating.
The staff were attentive and friendly throughout our 3 hour stay (wish we could have stayed longer!)
Don't miss White Duck Taco (connected to the Brewery). Don't worry, you can take your beer with you.
We will definitely be back up to Yee Haw with our families when they are in town!

Visited the Yee Haw Brewery for lunch in Greenville. The main part of the business was very casual, clean, and comfortable. A large outdoor patio is also available. The menu choices were decent and varied from pizzas, salads, sandwiches, wings, and other bar food. I had the chicken sandwich and salad (and a pint of local beer) which were delicious. Our server, Savannah, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. This was my first time visiting Greenville and Yee Haw Brewery ... impressed!

First off the actual building is awesome. There is tons of room inside and they have couch's and different seating areas. The outside seating area is awesome too. I think there are 4 tvs to watch games on also. There is a White Duck taco which is attached to the brewery. The food is good and not over priced. I would of rated a 5 but they close at 10pm every night and only have 5 beers. I really enjoyed the Octoberfest and the Pilsner.

Noticed Brewery and White Duck Taco Shop from road heading to Carnegie Hotel.
Concierge recommended so our colleagues all joined us on a Tuesday night. Great open airy atmosphere with excellent selection of craft beers. We ate amazing tacos from the White Duck as it is directly connected. Plus they have bocci, corn hole, skee ball and more. This is an awesome hang out and kid friendly!!!
One suggestion is to add more TVs to front wall for more sports.
Definitely will be back!!!!!!

So my friend and I both hate beer, but we fell in love with this place! The atmosphere is so amazing and relaxing, that just being there makes you want to cheer up and have a good time. They had a dark beer that I actually really loved, but I can’t remember what it’s called! Something with “velvet” in the name.
Mike was our bartender and totally amazing! He really helped us out (we’re brand new to the area) in finding a place to go when the bar closed and in finding a beer that even we picky drinkers would enjoy. Definitely will be back! Can’t wait and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area!

Great tacos, great beer. Great patio and fire pit. Should be very sucessful. Enjoyed the duck taco, 80 ale and dark Dunkle beers.

First of all i am a beer snob. I am spoiled with NE beers.Tries 5 of their beers and all were just average. Atmosphere is great, nice large space with big tvs. The taco place(separate review) is fantastic. It seems like a good place to go watch a game and have a couple average beers with the guys.

Had a great time at Yee-Haw. Went to try the new Berliner Weisse and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, great beer. The place is spotless and from the looks of it through the window the brewery is too. Will be back!

Better than the Best-Samuel Adams. This is the best seasonal beer ever. I should know in that I've been sampling the best beers for 60 years.

My family does not drink beer but we loved the awesome tacos!! Everyone must try these gourmet amazing tacos!

Went with some friends. Nice place to grab a big table, a few brews and share good times. Really nice fire pit outside as well.

Once of several breweries in the Tri-cities. Not my favorite (Wolf Hills in Abingdon best beer but poor building) but very good, and can get food by going to room right next to this brewery. The outside seating is a big plus, nice patio and gas fire going when its cool outside. Been here several times and will go back.

Friendly bartenders ,good beer choices food and inside or outside seating. They have some games to play, and after 8:00 live music.

After drinking Yee Haw beer for the past year, I figured it was time to visit the brewery. I was in Johnson City for business and had chance to stop by on a busy Saturday. The bartenders were cordial and answered questions. I was surprised how much Johnson City has grown in 20 years. The beer flite was good. We didn't like the Pilsner (too bitter) but the Pale Ale and others were good. I normally drink Pale Ale and Dunkel. They have a taco shop attached to the brewery. Outdoor seating looked comfortable. An enjoyable visit all around.

We try to head up to Knoxville every year to visit family and friends. This year, we noticed a new craft beer on the shelves at Kroger. After trying the Dunkel and loving it, we decided to make a side trip up to Johnson City to check out the brewery. We hail from a land of awesome breweries (Bend, Oregon), and Yee-Haw rivals even my local favorites. The building is beautiful and the Pilsner is hard to beat. They have Skee ball and some other games for the kids to play, and White Duck Taco (which is connected to the Taproom) offers killer food with a decent kids selection for your picky eaters. We plan on working up a trip to Johnson City just to get our Yee Haw time in every year!

The place has a great vibe. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. You can try any of their excellent brews. They have fire pits, games and tv's. There is a taco stand attached if you get hungry. It's a great place to hang out, watch a game and enjoy seeing me great beer.

Great place to stop by and try some very good beer. One of my favorite breweries. My wife and I really enjoy stopping there and trying the new items. Definitely worth a visit!

Staff were very helpful. The atmosphere was very family friendly and being collocated with White Duck Taco was great!

We are on hockey/brewery tour of DC/VA/NC and drove through Tennessee and happened to see this place on the map. We cannot recommend this place enough. The beer and atmosphere are great, and the bartender (working Thurs lunch shift) was so incredibly nice and gave great recommendations for other breweries.

I'm originally from the tri-cities so when I came back for a visit recently I had to go by yee-haw to check it out. I was more than pleasantly surprised-this place is awesome! I was very impressed with the restoration of the building and think they did a great job with the overall atmosphere. We decided to go on a brewery tour which I would highly recommend-their facilities are incredible. The brewery was spotless and our guide was very informative. We hung out in the taproom afterwards and a few beers. I LOVE the dunkel! Don't be afraid because it looks dark-it is really drinkable. I will definitely be on the lookout for their beers in the store and can't wait to come back to the brewery!

If you are traveling through to any other part of Tennessee and happen to be passing by Johnson City, you definitely want to take a detour and stop over at Yee Haw. They have an amazing selection of craft beer that tastes amazing! There place is so cool, with re purposed wood to give it an amazingly homey feel. And if you get hungry, just head right next door to White Duck Taco for some delicious tacos!! Highly recommend trying both places!

Love the atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Drinks and food are good. I’ve been several times and have enjoyed each time. My favorite visit would be on a cool evening when they have the outside fire pit going and of course a live band. Enjoy watching sporting events there too.

We love hanging out here for any reason. Always looking for another! And the tacos next door are awesome too!

This place was so cool to visit. Family, couples and dog friendly. There were plenty of games to play and so many types of moonshine. We did the $10 moonshine tasting with Wesley and it was great! I wish there were travel sized jars to buy to bring home on the airplane.

Very eclectic choice of craft beers. Attached to White Duck Taco so great place to eat some good food and drink some decent beer!

The Yee Haw became a feature at downtown JC. During the summer and fall months of 2016 I would visit the brewery every Wednesday. They generously gave away a glass of beer to all who would attend downtown free yoga class. What a great way to advertise the beer and the place to locals! Their beer is really nice and the next door taco place is not bed. Great outdoor sitting is available. I would recommend the place for friends and couples young and young at heart.

I visited Yee Haw Brewing several times while staying in Johnson City for a week. Located in an old train depot right in the middle of downtown, it's a great place for a beer. White Duck Taco is in the same building and they have delicious tacos. Staff are friendly and really good beer. I liked the orange creamsicle IPA but I drank the last of it the one evening I was there. And there is covered seating outdoors to bring the dog. Will definitely return next time I'm in Johnson City.

We enjoyed a barrel aged Scotch ale and a IIPA, enjoyed from a slouchy leather couch in the beautifully appointed brewery. Everyone was enjoying him/herself.

We needed to kill some time before flying out of tri-cities airport on a Sunday and we're struggling to find something to do. A lot of small town shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays around here. This brewery is clean, hip and a great place to stop. There is an adjoining taco shop if your hungry and plenty of places to sit and relax. There is also a large outside patio.

Delicious beer, friendly knowledgable staff and cool place to chill with friends inside or outside, in the best part of Johnson City.

Must taste the drinks, and I loved the music and the whole feeling there. The staff were absolutely friendly, we enjoyed being there.

Amazing place. The beer is made on site so you know it is fresh. They have a great selection and a great atmosphere.

Great brewery w/ good beer and vibe. This place is open, has a great patio a d during the major CV days, required folks to wear masks. It seems that many in E. TN & JC particularly sis nit do this.
Beers are great, service awesome. The outside patio is dog friendly and has a fire pit.
I really like this place and have gone 4-5 times over the last few months.
Food from White Duck Taco right next door is great!

My wife and I were there last weekend. It was our first time. The atmosphere was fun and full of energy. Service, food and adult choices for beverages was the best I have seen in the Tri-cites. Shout Out

I was looking for a brewery to have lunch in one my was from Asheville to Blacksburg and Johnson City was where I was going to be around noon. It took me forever to find out whether Yee Haw was opened that early on a Sunday or not. Their website does not list their daily hours!
The beer is good. I think it will improve to excellent given some time. They had just tapped their Oktoberfest so it was nice to get that. Their Pale Ale is really good. I'd recommend that beer of the ones I had.
Yee Haw does not sell food but it is attached to a White Duck Tacos and you really cannot go wrong with tacos there!

I was in town for work and wanted to check this brewery out! I was not disappointed at all.
They offer outdoor seating, a fire pit, a lot of tv's, and some indoor/ outdoor games.
When I first arrived it was fairly slow and out of nowhere the place was full!
The beers were delicious I tried a flight! They are connected to White Duck Taco which was amazing! It paired perfectly with my beer! Staff was friendly also.

I went to this spot with just friends in the evening and it was definitely for the 21 and older crowd. However, I discovered today it is very family friendly in the afternoon. We all had a good time sampling new beers, eating good food, and relaxing. The kids had fun playing games. It was great family fun. The beers are good, the food is good, and the atmosphere is casual. Not a huge beer selection, but a pretty good one.

Great atmosphere for anyone over 21. Nice outdoor seating area. We didn't try White Duck Tacos but heard it was really good

Well, I have to start by saying neither I or my husband love beer. So keep that in mind. However, when I do want beer, I want it really cold, and it wasn't. It would have tasted better if it had been nice and cold. We also had tacos from next door, which is easy and convenient. The ambiance here is nice and there is outdoor seating if you want.

The wife and I stopped in and had a couple beers....the winter porter is a must for dark beer drinkers....great place to visit!!

Visited here with my wife and daughter as we were setting her up at grad school. Nice open tap room with a great open felling, outdoor seating with a fire pit or inside. Music the night we were there, wormhole and Bocci ball out back and a great selection of craft beer made on site. Great looking taco place next door (white duck taco) to grab a bite that served not your typical Mexican style tacos (we had already eaten across the street at tupelo honey or would have tried it)

Absolutely love this place. Plenty of room to sit inside and out, great fire pit, amazing tacos at White Duck Taco, and great beer. I also love the games that are available to play both inside and out. We will definitely will be returning soon!

Great place! Mary Kate gave us an amazing moonshine tasting. Very personable!! Even though we were all hungover she got us back on our feet with her outgoing personality!! Thanks MK

nice patio, the beer was excellent . we are not big beer drinker but the lady helped us to choose one she was very helpful and nice. we will go back.

More of a college crowd. But the tacos were very good. I had the Fish, Shrimp and the Gyro Taco. And all were good.
By the time we left around 7pm. It started getting full. Good crowd.
I enjoyed the food and their beer wasn't bad, pretty good to be honest.

Deeeeelicious bourbon/scotch barrel beer~
Nice nice nice people and great service and beer here. LoVe the atmosphere ~ do not hesitate to come here~ white duck taco next door with awesome taco choices ~

We stopped by Yee Haw for beer on a Saturday afternoon while in town for the race. I have been to a lot of breweries and had a lot of different beer and this brewery is in my top 10. I tried every beer they had on tap and they were all wonderful. The flavor was great and it tasted "clean".
Yee Haw is connected to a taco place (White Duck...see separate review) and so I ate tacos while drinking beer. Love this place...go!

My friend and I visited Yee Haw for the first time tonight. Brandon served us and was amazing! Super informative and super nice. Beers were delicious! We'll definitely be back!

Touring breweries in Johnson City, and this place is amazing for only having been in business a short time. A taco place next door, this is a brewery. Their Dunkle is a standard, but their Hollywood SSA (Strong Scotish Ale) is a standout! 7.2% ABV. Thick and creamy. Great body. Only available on tap and in growlers at outlets like 1 of the Food City Grocery Stores in Town. Get a flight to taste their selection.

Great atmosphere, plenty of space inside/out, lots of games (cornhole, bball hoops) and delish moonshine. And Autumn, the bartender, is awesome

Food was good. I would have liked a bit more selection of sides. Prices were a tad high but over all liked the place. I would visit again

I went here to celebrate with my team after a game and I was amazed. We are always starving after a game, and the food here was the best I've had in a long time. There were many unique choices of tacos and the queso was the bomb. I really enjoyed the draft beer choices and low prices. You could easily spend a few bucks here or more depending on how much you want to eat/drink. There is a really cool outdoor fireput which has plenty of space for people. There was an upstairs dining area for a quiet atmosphere away from the live band. Really great place.

This brewery is located in a historic train station in downtown Johnson City. They make great beer. While there you can enjoy excellent tacos from White Duck Taco located on-site.

Always fun to stop by when visiting my daughter at grad school. Great vibe, staff and beer what more could you want?

Nice brewery in downtown Johnson city. Situated in old am track station. Casual place to hang around with friends

We went to Yee Haw before a concert at ETSU and it didn't disappoint! Fun experience for all of us. Interesting beers to taste and delicious tacos were available for purchase. Great pre-concert vibe! Would definitely go back!

This brewery was an old train depot, then a tire store, and reclaimed as a beautiful building housing a great brewery, tasting room, and restaurant, White Duck Taco. The beer has taken it's place among the best and the brewery has helped rebuild vibrancy in the downtown. The people who work here are proud to do so because it is just a classy, friendly place to be!

Love the brew and atmosphere. Nice open bar with an outdoor patio. 2nd visit here just passing through travelling home.

There is a very relaxed atmosphere, and a staff of knowledgeable folks who can tell you all about the beer- and about the food at White Duck. The fire pits outside are great on cooler evenings. They also have (good) live bands pretty regularly. It's great for locals, and also to bring someone who is visiting.

I went for the Moonshine tasting and Kourtney was the sweetest, and most loving person at a bar I’ve met in Nashville! Most bartenders were kind of rude but she was far from that! Thank you Kourtney for the great time!

I think I've tried every taco they make and I haven't found a bad one yet! Even the side items are amazing. The staff is always super-friendly & helpful. The beer side is okay - its really hard to find a bartender most of the time though so we usually go to Atlantic for that (thus the 4 stars instead of 5).

Visited Yee Haw Brewing why on a college visit with my nephew.
1. Fantastic rehab of the train station. The wall tv, the leather couches and the bar are 1st class all the way.
The exposed brick walls with the patio seating makes for a very friendly atmosphere.
2. The beer. Ah well, it is ok. Tried the pilsner and the dunkel. The pilsner is a bitter version of Budwieser. Which IMHO
a very bad beer. The dunkel was ok, nothing special or different.
3. The food. It is very good but the portions are extremely small given the prices charged.
4. Staff. The is well trained and efficent. Friendly and helpful. Enjoyed interacting with them.
The building 5 stars
The atmosphere 4 stars
The food 3 stars
The beer 1 star
I hope that the brew master improves on their skills. Lots of thirsty people looking for a better brew then Bud.

We were really excited to visit the new "local" brewery. Walking in, the place was awesome: cool place with the renovation of the railroad station. That is about where the excitement ended. The bar staff weren't excited, nor were they trying to "sell" us on their beer. They were nice enough, but there was no excitement in explaining the choices. AND, the beer is just ok, nothing special. The wait staff did nothing to enhance our visit, and it just didn't leave a positive impression on us. Either/or would've brought us back. However right now, we have no plans to return. Disappointed.

We enjoyed the beer but best of all we love the atmosphere the outside patio and the fire pit. It was all fun.

Spent a while here on a Sunday afternoon with a couple others and had a MOST wonderful time. The bartenders were extremely accommodating, attentive, and courteous. The atmosphere was warm & cozy (despite the bitter cold outside) with both a bar and sink-in comfortable sofas. Their selection of on-tap beers is excellent (while I REALLY like Yee Haw, I had to have my favorite on-tap beer in the entire world, which you rarely find... Koelsch). I highly recommend this--- as a place to get together with friends or family, for meetings, or just to relax. We WILL be back!

I stopped here with a group of 5. We really liked the atmosphere and the beer that they brewed. The fire pit out front was not lit (probably cause it was already very hot out), but was still fun to sit around. The only reason I rate this a 4 star instead of 5 is because they make you come up to the bar rather than bringing you drinks on the patio.

I love this local gem of a brewery. The whole atmosphere is awesome outside and inside, they support some local music talent, and the great local unique brews are top notch as well! Very very helpful and friendly staff with free taste testing of beer to help make your decision.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great beers. The dunkel alone is well worth the trip.But...while you're there, check out White Duck Taco next door.

A great clean tap room to try all the craft beers from Yee-Haw. Great place to just sit out side on the patio or near the open fire pit and enjoy some beer. My favorite was the Dunkel as well as the newer Imperial mistake beer. The tour cost $8.00 and includes a flight of different beer. The brewery area was spotless and the tour very educational.

The hoppiest IPA I've ever had. Family friendly, great food. I would definitely go here when its warm, but I'm a Florida girl.

Every spring we travel from Illinois to come to Tri-Cities area for the Nascar race. We always like to try some of the local flavors when we are here. Yee Haw Brewing co. was one of the coolest breweries we have ever visited. From the large bar and swivel bar stools to the retro couches it shines. Now open the large doors and the huge patio area with the best firepit ever. You cannot get enough of this place. Also of course there is the beer. We had a great time at Yee Haw!!

Yee Haw consistently produces quality beer, and their tap room is unlike any facility in East Tennessee, with nice leather furniture and other quality fixtures. The IPA is my go-to.

While they do not serve any gluten free beers which we wish they did, The menu board is stared for gluten free items. Our favorite was the fish tacos followed by the fresh crab taco. The beers are served by a great staff of knowledgeable friendly folks. Live music and outside fire pit makes this a great place to wind down.

We stopped in for a couple of beers before checking out downtown. Excellent quality beers, knowledgeable bartender. We sat outside by the fire, great view of downtown. Loved what they did with the old railway depot. Will return.

Stopped at the location in Nashville for a flight and was very impressed! Great atmosphere and a huge space to spread out with an enormous tv! Great service and delicious beer.

I came home to visit family and was so excited to come to Yee Haw. The beer was very good (Pineapple IPA was amazing!) and I love how spacious it was. Very fun atmosphere. Nice to have White Duck taco next door - we did not try it but good to know there is food right there. Cannot wait to go back!

I REALLY wanted to like the beer at Yee Haw Brewing. I went in with an open mind and hopeful attitude about their beer selection. Sadly, I was really disappointed. The facility and ambiance are very nice but I would rather have above average beer in a below average place than the other way around. The specific night we were there, there was a guy in the corner playing a guitar. It was nice and relaxing because it wasn't too loud... More of a background music deal and sounded really good.
I tried each of their beers via tasters and nothing stood out enough for me to order a full pint. I really hope they start focusing more on the actual beer and less on marketing and expanding. The best description I have is that each beer was "flavor flat" not flat from carbonation, just flat or void of deep or intricate flavors. For example: When I have a Pale Ale, I should get a full piney or citrus nose before I try the first sip along with a nice linger after you swallow... It just isn't there.
As a side note- It was a little strange to have to show my ID each and every time I ordered a taster even though I was in the same seat and being served by one or the other of the two servers behind the bar. I later found out there is some Tennessee law where they have to check your ID each and every time. That is OK but it would be nice to have one of the servers just make a joke about having to card some ole geezer over and over. "I know. I know. It seems silly but Tennessee law requires it."
I shall try again in a few months and if I encounter better beer, I'll gladly update my review.

Went to White Duck Taco and found that the brewery was attached. Did a flight of beers with my lunch and it was excellent. A good variety of beer for all tastes. Well worth it.

Went to Yee Haw Brewery while close by. The service was fast, great beer selection and had stuff to entertain kids too. Enjoyed having the White Duck Taco Shop there too.

I love that this location has indoor and outdoor seating. They have fire-pits outdoors which is nice in the cooler weather as a nice patio for when it is warm or you have a furry friend. Their seating options offer comfortable couches, bar seating as well as tables, and they offer free popcorn! My favorite beer is the Pale-Ale, but they offer a beer for every taste bud.

We visit YeeHaw Brewing often. Thankfully it's added so much to fledgling downtown JC. And although we are frequent visitors, the beer is just okay. For some reason I keep drinking it though!
The atmosphere and service are great. Oftentimes there is early music, too! White Duck Taco is a nice addition and the food is really good. Definitely glad they came to JC!
YeeHaw is worth a visit. Cool t-shirts, too.

We visited one evening recently with friends as we were staying in a local hotel. We each had a beer- not many I personally liked, but the one I chose was good- a dark beer. It got SO LOUD that we couldn't hear ourselves talk, so we walked to the Mexican dining area to eat, which is attached to the brew pub. Great selection of tacos. I ordered a side of grits, beans, and a bowl of corn chowder. Both the corn chowder and beans were so spicy hot, I could hardly eat them. Great grits. Probably would not return.

This place has a great vibe to it!! They give generous samples so you can really enjoy their beers! The taco place next door serves artisan tacos which are wonderful. Seating is indoor or outside. Make sure you bring your id as they ask everyone. Make this a sure stop on your visit!!

YEE-HAW Brewing offers a really nice atmosphere from their patio seating, bar stools, high tables and sofa seating. I had reserved a spot on their brewery tour and went in a little early to check out the place and give the connected White Duck Taco Shop a try. The bar staff was nice and answered my inquiries about some of the beers on tap. They also have a merchandise corner where they sell T-shirts, hats, key chains, glasses and more. I tried a couple of their beers before the tour.
The tour which costs $8 and was lead by Libby from the Sales Office began at the bar where she explained everything from how the company started, the staff members, beer ingredients and more. Even though Libby had a slight cold, she was still energetic, friendly and smiling during the whole time of our tour which took less than 40 minutes. She really made us feel welcome and open to asking questions at any point during the tour. We were given four tokens, each of which could be exchanged for a sample beer from the bar at any time during the tour. Libby took us behind the scenes and showed us some of the beer making ingredients, beer tanks, bottling area and more. The tour was well worth the price charged. At the end of the tour you will receive a large Yee-Haw Brewing drinking glass to take home. I also purchased a couple of items from their merchandise corner for friends.
In all, I sampled their Pilsner, Pale Ale, Kolsch, Double IPA, Eighty, Dunkel and Mistake which were all enjoyable. They also have several games Skee ball, Bocce, and even a children’s movie is offered during the week, so they make every effort to make the place comfortable for the entire family. Libby and the entire staff were very nice, the restaurant, bar and restrooms were clean. I would visit again if traveling through the area and highly recommend.

We brought a small crew of folks to give this place a try. Had our tacos out to us in just a few minutes on a Saturday night! The tacos were great and the beer even better. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Try the yee haw Scottish Ale! We'll be back, yee haw!

Lots of choices for tacos plus great selection of beers both draught and in bottles. Fun place to just hang out with friends. Lots of young people as you can imagine being in a college town.

Fantastic venue, historical setting, ice cold beer with great service, free games and very clean location including restrooms. Highly recommend

White duck taco which in my opinion is heavenly is located in with the Yee Haw Brewing company. The two together make an awesome combination. Great for young or teenage crowd. Have a couple of games for you kids to play to keep them occupied while they are there. Also they give tours on occasion of the brewery which is pretty neat. Very laid back but very family friendly.

Fun Brewery in downtown Johnson City with great indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly and they have a fire pit for cooler weather. Lots of beers and IPA’s to choose from. They also have taco joint attached when you are hungry! Fun atmosphere and great beer

Yee Haw is an adorable, charming brew pub to gather and chill. I loved the warm pub-like atmosphere and the wide selection of brews. I got the sampler flight. My son said this is where everyone gathers to have a good time in the evening.

Nice place Ggod for a date or solo Whent after a meal across the street Anytime is a good time for a local brew The name is yeehaw which is pretty cool name One quick brew and purchased a six pack To be determined later if pass the test
Just what it should be
Love this place. Open, warm, and easy. What a pub should be, in the great British isles tradition. The beer is delicious, the bar staff is as engaging or as disengaged as you want them to be, and the gathering is light.
