Huangshan Emerald Valley is composed of dozens of pools of different sizes. The water in the pools varies in depth and shines with colorful colors under the sun, which is very beautiful.
It presents a bright green color under the sunlight, and with the contrast of the rock texture at the bottom of the pool, it gives people the feeling that a large piece of jade is jumping out of the eyes.
The bamboo forests in the valley, the gurgling springs, the strange rocks and the beautiful waters are refreshing. The most important is the colorful pool group.
In the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", some scenes such as the fight on bamboo shoots and the love scene by the pool were filmed in Emerald Valley.

Emerald Valley is really beautiful, with many pools of different sizes. Just sitting down and listening to the sound of the water is relaxing. It really looks like emerald~super beautiful!! It feels even better in summer. The downstream is a source of drinking water. You can’t litter or wash your feet! By the way, this place is also called Lover’s Valley, and there are couples’ paths and magpie bridges. I, a single dog, always walk past them with resentment~~ But what are those pink pavilions on the path... This must be a design by a straight man... I sat in the pavilion for a while, and I always felt like Tang Monk entering a monster cave.
The clear springs flowing down from the top of the mountain absorb the spiritual energy of the world-renowned Huangshan Mountain, and gather here to form one verdant pool after another. The clear water here also nourishes the people of the entire Tangkou Town.
The Lover's Bridge is full of memories and vows left by travelers. People are always used to sending their thoughts to nature, so the scenery has become poetic. After crossing one stream and clear pool after another, turning around and looking down at the end of the trail, the mountains on both sides converge, and a small river in the middle flows into the distance.
There are many large and small pools in the Emerald Valley. The water is blue-green and clear, with a bit of the flavor of Jiuzhaigou. The whole tour takes about 2-3 hours.
After the ticket booth, you still need to walk a short distance to reach the ticket gate. This distance is not long, only a few minutes.
“A mountain is famous not because of its height but because of the immortals who live there; a river is magical not because of its depth but because of the dragons who live there.” Seeing these two lines of poetry on the mountain wall means that we have reached the real entrance.
The valley winds up along a stream, and from time to time you will see emerald pools of various shapes, the water in the pools is either crystal clear or emerald green, gorgeous and colorful.
The colorful pool under the sunlight is even more crystal clear, like a fairyland on earth.
The deep valley makes people feel far away from the world, and their thoughts become transparent.
Remind everyone to pay attention to the driver's routine!!! (Luckily I made a guide) I suggested going to Emerald Valley, and the driver took us around to the upstream. It turned out that the entrance to the scenic area is called Phoenix Source. Don't listen to their tricks!
The author firmly believes that it makes sense for a tourist attraction to have many people! Finally, they sent us to Emerald Valley. Please note that these drivers can get discount tickets. They can get as much money as the price online, and they also get commissions. The ticket for Emerald Valley on China-TravelNote is 60 yuan. The author asked the driver how much he could get. The big brother said 75 yuan. The author said, "No need, 60 yuan online." The big brother directly said, "Then I will give you 60 yuan too, you can take it from me." So everyone must pay attention to check the various discount tickets online in advance! Don't be fooled.
Let's get down to business. Emerald Valley is really beautiful. There are also wedding photo shoots here. The end of Emerald Valley is a big stone with the word "love" on it. My parents showed off to me. The road back is lined with bamboo forests. There are all kinds of love stories on both sides of the road, so Emerald Valley is also called "Lover's Valley". The tour time of Emerald Valley is about 2 hours.
Cui Valley has abundant water in summer and cool temperature, which is especially suitable for the whole family to escape the summer heat. It is the filming location of the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and is known as the most beautiful water in the world and the fifth wonder of Huangshan.
There are hundreds of pools of different sizes in the canyon, the largest of which is nearly 1,000 square meters in size. There are also stones with the word "love" written all over them to attract couples to stop and take a look. The scenes of love by the pool in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" were filmed here. The suspension bridge Lover's Bridge over the Flower Mirror Pool is hung with love locks. The reference price for buying love locks locally is 30 yuan.
There are more than 40 colorful pools with an area of more than 100 square meters. Even if you have not been to Jiuzhaigou, you can come here to see the romantic colorful pools.
Located between Xiandu Peak and Luohan Peak of Huangshan Mountain, Jade Valley is also known as "Lover's Valley". It is a world cultural and natural heritage. It is known as the most beautiful water in the world, a beautiful holy land of love, and the fifth wonder of Huangshan Mountain. The canyon is about 6 kilometers long and is dotted with more than 100 square or round jade colored pools of various shapes and sizes. More than 40 colored pools cover an area of more than 100 square meters, and the largest colored pool covers an area of nearly 1,000 square meters. The pool water is either crystal clear or emerald green, colorful, just like jade scattered in the valley, hence the name Jade Valley.
There are many pools of turquoise water. The scenery is not much different from Jiulong Waterfall, but the feeling is different. The Emerald Valley is not that high, and there are more pools here.
The water is very clear and green, but there are few places to play. When I went there, it was not the flood season and there was little water, so the viewing experience was greatly reduced.
It's very elegant, right next to the Huangshan Scenic Area, where Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed!
Emerald Valley, nicknamed "Lover's Valley", is located in Shancha Village, Tangkou Town, the southern gate of Huangshan Scenic Area, close to National Highway 205 and Hetonghuang Expressway. The canyon is 6 miles long and is dotted with more than 100 colorful pools of various shapes and sizes. The pools change with the surrounding scenery, the angle of the sun and the brightness of the light, and are sometimes crystal clear or emerald green. They are ever-changing and colorful, just like emeralds scattered all over the valley, hence the name Emerald Valley. In the film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", which won four Oscars, scenes such as fighting on bamboo shoots, love by the pool, and stepping on the waves of waterfalls were all shot in Emerald Valley.
🌞 ノ☀The beautiful mountains and clear waters made me take a bath🌞 ノ☀I went in at 11:01 and came out at 13:20, about 2 hours. The ticket for the 4A scenic spot was 90 yuan on September 24, 2018, and 60 yuan online. The ticket felt a bit expensive. The toilets in Huangshan Scenic Area looked clean [strong]. The 3A scenic spot was basically garbage, the 4A part was worth seeing, and the 5A was a normal scenic spot.
It's not bad, you can go and see it, but it's better to go with a girl
At 8 o'clock in the morning, my family and my mother hurried to Taohuawu Square. Although we were too busy to have breakfast, we were very happy. We forgot to mention that we left our slow-moving father behind.
The Emerald Valley is indeed worthy of its name, with emerald-colored ponds dotted throughout the valley. It takes two hours to get in and out by the original route. I personally think it is well worth it.
Feicui Valley City is the only place on this trip that offers half-price teacher qualification certificates. Tears are about to fall! The scenery is pretty good. It's a good place to stroll slowly, but you can wash your feet downstream, which is very cool.
At the foot of Huangshan Mountain, there is a bamboo sea and a blue lake. After all, artificial attractions are not interesting. I regret not visiting the mountain earlier.
The water in the Emerald Valley is very clean and beautiful. It is more delicate than the canyon in Tiantangzhai and suitable for leisure and relaxation. It is the last word "love" that makes me feel very low-class.
The Emerald Valley is not big, but the scenic spot is well developed. The emerald green lakes really look like emeralds. It is said that this is also the filming location of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I walked around slowly, looked around and took pictures.
~The most beautiful thing nature has given us is this kind of scenery! I wonder if the water will still be so pure in a few years~
Most of the pools in Emerald Valley are emerald green, like emerald gems inlaid on the earth. I haven't been to Jiuzhaigou yet, so I can only go to Emerald Valley to satisfy my curiosity. You can go to the Love Stone in Emerald Valley and return. There is no need to go further inside to waste time and energy. There is no good scenery inside, and it has not been fully developed.
This is a very quiet valley, with rocks of all sizes in the valley, and streams flowing down the mountain, the water surface is as green as emerald. The whole tour takes 2 hours, which does not require too much physical strength and is very relaxing.
You can basically spend more than two hours in Emerald Valley, but you can also spend more time there because it has several pools. The water flowing down from the mountains is clear and cold, which is a great place to cool off. Take off your shoes and socks and roll up your trouser legs, and you can play there for a long time, especially for children, who don't want to come up after going down.
The water here is really green, but the attractions feel monotonous
The river water is as clear as crystal and as green as jade. There is a stone tablet with many calligraphy masters' words engraved on it. I also took a photo of Premier Zhou's words. The spring water at "The bright moon shines among the pines, and the clear spring flows over the stones" is a bit fierce, which is not what I imagined. Luzhu Pond is the filming location of the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" "Searching for the Sword in the Deep Pool" and "Stepping on the Waterfall". You can go back to the exit after walking to the "Love Stone". Along the edge of the bamboo forest path, there will be a stele every few meters, telling the love stories in ancient times, "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai", "Lu You and Tang Wan", "Xiang Yu and Yu Ji" and so on.
The scenery is very beautiful. It takes about 3 hours to play. It is definitely worth a visit if you have enough time.
It is said that the bamboo forest fight scene in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed in Emerald Valley. The scenery of Jiulong Waterfall is better. There are stairs to climb. My legs were a little shaky after climbing. We regarded it as training before climbing Huangshan.
A good choice around Huangshan, clear mountains and green waters, it is very refreshing to go there in May and June~
Emerald Valley, also known as Lover's Valley, is a place I have visited alone. This scenic spot is included in the Huashan ticket. It was drizzling when I went there that day, and the road was slippery on rainy days. There were not many people. The whole trail meanders along the stream, and the clear green stream flows downstream. Occasionally, you can see green water pools of various shapes at the turning points. The road is very quiet, with insects chirping, water ringing, rain hitting bamboo leaves, and the so-called secluded path. After appreciating the vastness and magnificence of Huashan, it is also a good idea to walk this road, provided that you still have the energy after climbing Huashan. It is recommended to go here first and then climb Huashan.
We entered the Emerald Valley scenic area at about 8:30. I'm not saying that I was really lucky. It's more beautiful when it rains! I came at the right time. Emerald Valley is not a popular attraction and there are few people, but I think it's worth a look. After all, it's the water flowing down from Huangshan Mountain. The name Emerald must mean that the stream is extremely clear, like a green seal. When I went in, it was really beautiful. Thanks to the rain, the water was huge.
In the morning, we chartered a car from the hotel in South Gate to Emerald Valley, which cost 80 yuan for two people round trip. Emerald Valley is a small canyon at the foot of Huangshan Mountain. The water is very clear. It is also one of the filming locations of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It is recommended to go and see it if you have time when you come to Huangshan. It is very beautiful. On the way down, you will pass by a bamboo forest, which is also very beautiful.
The Emerald Valley is very long and deep, and tourists can only visit a section of it, but it is enough to see its essence.
Entering from the main gate, you need to climb the mountain, with a stream on one side and a trail on the other.
Along the valley, you can see colorful pools of different sizes and shapes, all clear and transparent;
The green mountains on both sides are reflected, green as jade, and the colors of the rocks at the bottom of the pool are colorful;
The water in the pool varies in depth and color.
There are several small scenic spots around the Huangshan Scenic Area. If you have enough time and want to go around, you can go there.
I came to Huangshan in January. The weather was a little cold and it was raining. The front desk of Tangkou Inn recommended that Emerald Valley was worth a visit. Emerald Valley is also called Lover's Valley. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from Tangkou Town to Emerald Valley. It's all mountain roads. The ticket is 90 yuan per ticket. There are tickets sold on Qunar.com and China-TravelNote.com. It's 60 yuan per ticket. There is also a joint ticket with Jiulong Waterfall for about 120 yuan. I booked the ticket on Qunar.com two hours in advance and set off to the entrance of the scenic spot with great expectations. The ticket office said that they couldn't find our order. I was confused at the time because Qunar didn't successfully place an order for us. Helplessly, we bought two Emerald Valley tickets on China-TravelNote again and waited for half an hour in the cold wind and rain before we could go in. Although it was a rainy day, there were very few people. It was pleasant with few people and had a unique flavor. Walking in the rain was leisurely. The water in Emerald Valley was very good and green. It looked really beautiful and worth a visit. After climbing Emerald Valley, I didn't have the energy to go to Jiulong Waterfall and went back to Tangkou.
It is not far from Tangkou Town. You need to climb a little mountain, but it is not high. There are many clear pools and springs with clear green water. It is very cool in summer.
I came here during the May 1st holiday in 2012. There are large and small pools of water
After leaving Shimen Gorge, the second stop is Huangshan Emerald Valley.
From the moment you enter the Emerald Valley, the whole space is surrounded by rich greenery and the exquisite sound of water. The mountain streams along the way converge into pools of emerald green water, which are really inlaid in various places in the valley like emeralds, including the "Blue Lion Pool", "Sea Clam Beach", "Flower Mirror Pool", "Green Hairpin Pool", "Green Pearl Pool", "Jade Ring Pool", "Pipa Pool", "Peacock Pool", "Jade Pendant Pool", "Neon Waterfall", "Thunder Rain Pool", etc. There are also "Lover Bridge" and "Magpie Bridge" connecting them, adding a touch of tenderness and love for couples.
A summer resort, the scenery is as beautiful as its name, green as emerald, a good place to cool off after climbing Huangshan
Emerald Valley is made up of dozens of pools of varying depths, which are very beautiful in the sunlight, showing off a variety of colors including blue, orange, green, blue, yellow, and white.
This is a place worth recommending. Only in the sunshine can you realize that water can also have the color of emerald!
The first sight of the clear water made the trip worthwhile! I was so amazed (forgive me for never having seen such clear green water)! It was like a beautiful emerald! I just wanted to take this pool of water away and treasure it!
The only drawback is that the scenic area has isolated several water-friendly areas with iron chains, so people can only watch from a distance but cannot play in the water.
A friendly reminder is that the return route indicated by the scenic spot is much longer than the way you came, and there are no valleys or streams at all. There are only bamboo forests and knee-tiring steps. It feels very deceptive, so the best route is to return the same way!
The Emerald Valley is deep and winding, and the lake is clear and colorful, showing its various forms in the game between sunlight and clouds.
There are mountains and water, it is fresh and beautiful, a touch of coolness in the hot summer, and the trip is relaxing.
It is much more beautiful than I imagined. It is a scenic spot with mountains, water and love.
It was previously called Lover's Valley. The scenery inside is famous for its bamboo sea and green water. You can go there to experience it after visiting Huangshan.
The ticket charges are too chaotic. The scenic spot only sells one type of ticket, which is a bundled ticket for the Emerald Valley and acrobatics, for a total of 90 yuan. The Emerald Valley ticket is not sold separately. I walked around in it but didn't see any acrobatics. We bought our tickets on the official website for 60 yuan each. The scenic spot is not worth the price.
Emerald Valley is the first stop of our trip to Huangshan. Because it was raining, we stayed in the B&B next door for one more day. We arrived at noon on the first day, checked in and had lunch at the B&B (food and accommodation costs near the Huangshan Scenic Area are not cheap). We started to enter the mountain at around 2 pm. The B&B owner helped us buy the tickets. After the tickets were sold, we could register and climb the mountain as many times as we wanted.
The mountain is not very high, and the mountain road is well built. There is no obstacle for the elderly and children to pass through. If you move quickly, you can finish the tour in two hours. The mountain stream water flow is relatively small and not urgent when it is not raining. If it is hot, you can get in close contact with the water, which is relatively cool. If you go into the mountain after the rain, you will find that the mountain stream, which is usually very gentle and leisurely, has become a flood beast. The water flow is very fast and large, and the water mist stirred up is dancing in waves, and the sound is also very loud. Of course, the scenic area will close all the passages that can go down to the stream for safety, and it is no longer allowed to go into the water.
The first four photos were taken on the first day before it rained, and the last four were taken after a day of rain.
The Emerald Valley Scenic Area is located in the eastern part of Huangshan Mountain, also known as the "Lover's Valley". The water in the valley originates from the Liandan Peak and the Shixin Peak. The scenic area accessible to tourists is 6,000 meters long. There are hundreds of large and small pools distributed in the canyon. More than 40 pools have an area of more than 100 square meters, and the largest pool has an area of nearly 1,000 square meters.
The Emerald Valley is made up of dozens of pools of different sizes. The water in the pools varies in depth and shines in a variety of colors such as blue, orange, green, blue, yellow, and white under the sun, which is very beautiful. There are more than 100 pools in the Emerald Valley, which present a bright green color under the sunlight. In addition, the rock texture at the bottom of the pool gives people the feeling of a large piece of jade jumping out of their eyes. The bamboo forests in the valley, the gurgling sound of springs, the strange rocks, and the bright water color are refreshing.
If you are going to climb Huangshan, this place is still worth seeing. It only takes half a day. The general transportation method is to charter a car from Tangkou. If you want to go back, call the driver in advance. The distance is very close. The environment of Emerald Valley is very good and lush. The water inside is very clear and green. Although it is not as good as the water in Jiuzhaigou, it is definitely worth the trip... Walk slowly all the way, it should take about three hours to finish the tour...
If you go in winter, the water will be smaller, but there will be fewer people.
Emerald Valley is at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, very close and quiet. If you plan to go up the mountain the next day, it is worth going there the afternoon before yesterday. It is suitable for couples, hehe
The scenery is nice and the water is clear and green.
I went there last year, just after winter, and the snow on the mountain slowly melted into a stream. I heard that in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Jiaolong and her master played by Cheng Peipei were taking poison needles in the cave, and Li Mubai was stabbed by the poison needle and died in the cave. The filming location of this cave was in Emerald Valley. This valley is blessed with outstanding people and beautiful scenery. You can see it from the emerald green color of the water. There is no more beautiful color than this. At the end of the valley, there is a big word of love engraved on the stone, so it is also named Lover's Valley. It is best to go there in spring, when the snow on the mountain has melted and flowed into the valley, and the stream is turbulent, which is a beautiful landscape painting.
It's a beautiful place. No wonder Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed here.
Huangshan Emerald Valley, also known as Lover's Valley, is said to have been discovered by educated youth from Shanghai. Legend has it that a young couple accidentally walked into the canyon and discovered its beauty and tranquility. When they walked out of the canyon, they had established a lover relationship. From then on, many single educated youth from both sexes chose this canyon as a place to talk and have secret meetings. Later, its fame spread more and more, and now it has become a good place for young men and women to travel. Moreover, the scenery of Emerald Valley is indeed better than many canyons in Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas, and it is worth a visit.
A natural oxygen bar, the emerald stream is very beautiful. The entrance and exit passages are separated, which is good, and it will not be crowded and unsafe.
Known as the Little Jiuzhaigou in the North, some of its pools are indeed as good as those in Jiuzhaigou.
Emerald Valley is also called Lover's Valley. If you have time before climbing Huangshan, it is a good choice to go to Emerald Valley. The car from Tangkou to Taiping will pass through Emerald Valley. It is very convenient for 5 yuan per person. Emerald Valley can usually be visited in two or three hours. We visited and took pictures for more than 4 hours. Emerald Valley claims that all scenic spots are covered by wifi, but it is not actually done. After all, the scenic area is so large, which is understandable. Emerald Valley is not high, and there is no pressure to play. The water in Emerald Valley is really emerald color, which is very beautiful. It deserves to be called Little Jiuzhaigou. Emerald Valley has many places for taking pictures with the theme of "love". Many couples take pictures here, and my parents also take pictures very happily. There will be tightrope walking performances in Emerald Valley every once in a while. If you are interested, you can pay attention to it. There will be a fast downhill passage at the end of Emerald Valley. There is no scenery on this road, so it is not recommended. If you have enough time, it is recommended to return by the original route.
Emerald Valley is also called Lover's Valley. It seems that a TV series was filmed here. It is located at the foot of Huangshan Mountain and not far from our East Huangshan Sports Base. It took only about 20 minutes after breakfast for the bus to arrive at the parking lot. We went down the mountain from the road, passed a memorial archway and a stone arch bridge, and arrived at the entrance of the scenic area known as "Huangshan Color Pool Group-Emerald Valley".
The next road is almost uphill, but it is relatively flat and less dangerous. The first scenic spot is the "Sea Clam Beach", where the water flows fast. What's more interesting is the rocks here, which look like they are made directly from lava and have a strong sense of layering. The second larger pool is the "Flower Mirror Pool", where you can clearly feel how the water in the Emerald Valley is consistent with its name, that is, green like emerald, plus one more, clear to the bottom. The best shooting location is on the "Lover's Bridge", where two waterfalls continuously inject source water into the Flower Mirror Pool, which is more like a water basin for fairies to dress up. The Emerald Valley Scenic Area is shaded by trees and gurgling water all the way, making people really stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in nature.
The scenery is pretty good, but the ticket is very expensive, 90 yuan, and it is inconvenient to go there.
There wasn't much water when I went there on holiday, which was a bit of a pity.
Emerald Valley, also known as "Lover's Valley", is located in Tangkou Town, the southern gate of Huangshan Scenic Area. It is named because there are dozens of colorful pools of various shapes and colors like emerald in the scenic area. It is one of the main filming locations of the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". It is known as "the most beautiful water in the world, the holy land of love, and the fifth wonder of Huangshan". The scenic area is not very large, and the ticket price is 90 yuan, which is really too expensive.
Green lakes, flowing water, silver waterfalls, steep cliffs, Hui-style architecture, and a wonderful trip to Huangshan.
Emerald Valley is about 15 to 20 minutes’ drive from Tangkou Town. Since most individual tourists arrive at the foot of the mountain one day in advance and go up the mountain the next day, Emerald Valley becomes a good place to kill time on the first day.
The water in Emerald Valley is a crystal clear green (not the dark green we usually see when the water is deep), super beautiful, a filming location for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Emerald Valley is also called Love Valley, with countless love locks hanging on the Lover's Bridge, and the word love all over the valley.
The water in Emerald Valley is indeed emerald green and clear. This was not the place we had planned, but we decided to go there immediately and it lived up to our expectations.
If the weather is good, it should be beautiful and worth a visit. When I went there to deal with the flood, I saw not jade but broken jade.
The scenery is very good. The trees are cool and the weather is cool. It doesn't feel hot when you go there in summer. Occasionally you will walk to a place without trees. It would be more fun if there was water.
Emerald Valley is also called "Lover's Valley". In 1988, 36 young men and women from Shanghai visited Huangshan and met in this valley. At that time, this scenic spot had not yet been developed, the roads were bumpy, and there was even no way to go. They could only encourage and support each other and overcome many difficulties to escape. After they returned to Shanghai, 10 pairs became lifelong partners, and many of them met for the first time in Emerald Valley. Therefore, someone proposed to rename this valley "Lover's Valley".
It is known as the Little Jiuzhaigou. The water there is emerald green and very beautiful.
The scenery is pretty good. Young couples can go there. The water is very clear. It should be better to go in a season with a larger water flow.
We arrived at Huangshan at noon the day before. We went to the Emerald Valley next to the hotel in the afternoon because we were bored. Maybe it was because I had seen the beauty of Jiuzhaigou, so I felt a little bit tired when I admired the scenery of Emerald Valley. But the zipline inside is worth recommending. Due to my husband's waist and "courage", I did not try it, and I still regretted it. After climbing Emerald Valley, I was not strong enough the next day, and it was more difficult to climb Huangshan. It is recommended to save enough energy to play Huangshan.
The entrance and exit is a door, which means you need to return the same way, but there is another way back from the entrance and exit. There is a bamboo forest. In this season, there are many bamboo shoots that are 3 or 4 meters long. It is spectacular when you see them for the first time.
The water is really clear, blue and green, the scenery is beautiful, and the journey is not long, so it's nice to walk slowly.
Beautiful scenery. Feel it. Worth a visit.
