There is no other stadium design in the world that is more impressive than the one in person. This is also a must-see when you come to Beijing. I personally think it is not necessary to buy a ticket to enter the stadium. It is nice to take pictures outside. The transportation is convenient and there is a subway entrance right outside. Here you can feel the Olympic Beijing welcome you. You can bring your family and children with you! The Bird's Nest is better to see at night. When the lights are on, it is a beautiful exhibit.

This is also a must-visit place when you come to Beijing. I used to drive to see the outer ring and didn't enter the venue. Only when you walk in can you feel the grandeur of the building. The weather is good on weekends, and I plan to walk around. So I chose this place. It's best to come after noon. You can walk through the Olympic Park in the afternoon, see the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. The National Stadium is just right for night views at night. It's a different kind of beauty, and the time schedule is also suitable. The bus is very convenient, whether you go from north to south or from south to north. It's very reasonable.

When I arrived at the Olympic Plaza where the Bird's Nest is located, it was deserted and miserable. Besides the Bird's Nest, the Water Cube and the Linglong Tower, the lighting in other squares and parks was just so-so.
I was just bored and didn't know where to go to take some nice and quiet night photos. Blue Harbor Sanlitun was probably very lively and brightly lit, but the overall atmosphere was not to my liking, especially when I saw the big-nosed Japanese wandering drunk, I felt very uncomfortable; the corner tower of the Forbidden City? Where should I park the car? Forget it, I'll just park it at the Bird's Nest:

Located in the southern part of the central area of Beijing Olympic Park, it covers an area of 204,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 90,000 spectators. It was completed on June 28, 2008. The main body is a "Bird's Nest" shape woven by a series of steel trusses around the bowl-shaped seating area. The structure is novel and unique, with strong shock and visual impact, fully embodying the beauty of natural harmony.
During the Beijing Olympic Games, the National Stadium served as the main venue, hosting the opening and closing ceremonies and various events. The wonderful performances were perfectly integrated with the Bird's Nest, which amazed the world. After the Olympic Games, it became a large-scale professional venue for Beijing citizens to participate in sports activities and enjoy sports entertainment, and became a landmark sports building and Olympic heritage. Climbing to the top, you can overlook the interior of the Bird's Nest and have a panoramic view of the surrounding Olympic Park Scenic Avenue.

People say that the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube look better at night. The wind was very cool. The weather in Beijing in March was not as warm as expected. There were not many people in the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. My hands were a little cold. There was nothing to see inside. It was better to look at the night lights outside. I thought it was very beautiful. Although the lights of the Water Cube were always changing colors, I still felt that the blue Water Cube looked the best.

The National Stadium "Bird's Nest" is one of the iconic buildings of the Beijing Olympic Games. It is located in the southern part of Beijing Olympic Park and on the east side of the central axis. It was the main stadium for the 29th Olympic Games in 2008.

The entire Olympic Sports Park is quite large. In autumn, there are yellow leaves of ginkgo trees. There are many people all year round. The Bird's Nest and the Water Cube are definitely landmark buildings, but it is recommended to just look at them from the outside. When you really go in, except for the larger scale, it is actually a sports stadium.

Come and see the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube at night. The Bird's Nest and the Water Cube are so beautiful after the lights are on. The Bird's Nest is like a "nest" and cradle for nurturing life, and the Water Cube is like a blue water drop under the sun; one square and one round, one blue and one red, the beauty of architecture.
By Apple Lynn |
The components of the entire stadium structure support each other to form a grid-like structure, which looks like a bird's nest woven from branches. Its gray mineral steel mesh is covered with transparent membrane materials, which contains a reddish bowl-shaped stadium stand. Here, the hollowing techniques of traditional Chinese culture, the patterns of ceramics, and the brilliance and warmth of red are perfectly integrated with the most advanced modern steel structure design.

This Chao Chao is a sports venue. What fun would it be without sports competitions? I have never been to Beijing and it seems I will never go there in this life. These are the true feelings of a person who has worked for 44 years and retired!

The main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, a uniquely shaped building made of tens of thousands of tons of steel, is very spectacular. There is no need to buy a ticket to visit the entire Olympic Park unless you want to watch the performances inside. The Bird's Nest and the Water Cube can be viewed from a distance.

The Bird's Nest is very beautiful, really spectacular. There are many fun things inside, such as costume performances, competition venues, etc. There are also many delicious foods, which are very delicious and beautiful in color. The service is also excellent. I strongly recommend that you go and have a look. Let me first introduce you to the entrance. When there is no performance or competition, only a few doors are open. You can get off at the Olympic Sports Center, Olympic Park or Beitucheng on Line 8. It is about one kilometer away. You can find where to buy tickets by walking around the Bird's Nest. The cheapest is 80 (you can't visit the fifth floor, it seems), 120 (you can visit the sixth floor, the fifth floor, the second floor and the first floor). The fifth floor is an exhibition of some costumes and history of the performances at that time. The first floor is the athlete channel at that time, and there are some competition videos that can be watched directly. You have to buy a separate ticket for the sky corridor. If you like the Olympics or sports, the ticket price is actually okay. The ticket prices for other attractions in Beijing are relatively cheap. The fifth floor closes around 5 pm, so it is best to go early for a visit. It would be a pity if you buy a ticket late and can't see it.

The entire National Stadium is very large. Because some entrances were not open, we had to go around a long way before we could get in. I heard that there was nothing to see inside, so we only looked at the exterior and didn't go in. I don't know if it was because it was night, but there was almost no place to eat in the entire park.

I originally thought that going here was optional, but I was slapped in the face when I got there. I must recommend the night view here, it is very beautiful, just outside the Olympic Center subway station.

I still feel like I have to go see the night view. The lights are turned off at 9:30. It takes about half an hour to get there by taxi from the first ring road. There is no one in winter, so the lights will not change color. No tickets are required for the night view at night, but tickets are required to enter the inner field during the day.

Before Double Eleven, I went to Beijing for personal reasons, and visited the 3rd Explorers Exhibition organized by Kenya Hara. It was probably because it was in the later stages of the exhibition, and I felt that the things were too bland, which was a bit unworthy of Kenya Hara's reputation. However, I still feel very happy to be in Beijing, and I have the opportunity to visit more exhibitions.

It is really shocking to see the structure of the Bird's Nest up close. The various complex and beautiful shapes are dazzling. Because the night view ticket is too expensive, it costs 80, so we did not go in. If it were daytime, I would choose to go in and see it in person.

The "Bird's Nest" and the "Water Cube" are a perfect match
The “Bird’s Nest” and the “Water Cube” are a perfect match[11]
It is like a huge container. The undulating base moderates the volume of the container and gives it a dramatic curved appearance. It converges into a grid - like a bird's nest woven from branches. While meeting all the functional and technical requirements of the Olympic stadium, the design is not dominated by similar large-span structures and digital screens that over-emphasize architectural technology. The spatial effect of the stadium is novel and radical, but simple and simple, creating a unique and unprecedented landmark building for the 2008 Olympic Games.

There is a grove of ginkgo trees near the Bird's Nest, and it looks like golden butterflies have landed on the trees, making people yearn for it.

I went to the Bird's Nest today. I just came back this morning. I feel that the night view is so beautiful! The Water Cube is across from it. The night view is also very beautiful. The square in the middle is so large. Now in the middle of the square, the Bird's Nest is on the left and the Water Cube is on the right. It is so beautiful! Many people are taking pictures there. Remember to go there at night. It is really cold today, otherwise I would stay longer. Also, the Bird's Nest is really big. Now looking down from the audience, it is really scary because it is too high. My legs are weak. I lost weight and added a microblog. My original weight was 140 pounds.

If you come to Beijing, you must go to the Olympic Sports Center to see the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. If you want to visit, the 80-120 tickets are not cheap. The appearance is also good, especially the night view is very beautiful, and the Olympic Sports Center is free to enter. You can take Line 8 to take photos.

I personally think it is not necessary to go into the Bird's Nest. It is better to take pictures outside, because you only see a large area of red chairs after spending 80 yuan to enter. Of course, I was also shocked by the spaciousness of the Bird's Nest the moment I entered.
By 瞳色镜影|
The Bird's Nest bathed in the setting sun, the not-so-bright mesh structure of reinforced concrete lacks a bit of vitality.
When night falls and the sky gradually darkens, red and yellow lights decorate the Bird's Nest from the inside out. At this time, the Bird's Nest seems to have instantly recovered its spirit and returned to its dazzling and beloved state.
The beauty of the Bird's Nest is its grandeur and magnificence. It is the glittering lights in the night, and it is also the shock and pride that it brought us that summer.
