The science and technology museum that was opened in Anzhen when I was a child has now moved to the Bird's Nest. I thought there would be a lot of different new "technologies", but I was disappointed! The equipment in the museum is too old, many of which are still more than 10 years old, and more than half of the buttons are broken, or the equipment is under maintenance. This is really incomparable with science and technology museums abroad. I hope our own science and technology museums will pay more attention. For example, the home decoration in the future science and technology museum is all 10 years old. What controls the air conditioner and the light are turned on, and the buttons are still broken. I hope the maintenance department can keep up, so that nothing can be pressed.

Across a small bridge from the Olympic Park, across the dragon-shaped water system, is the National Science and Technology Museum.

The Science and Technology Museum gives people a very grand feeling, and the security check is also very responsible. The ticket office is directly opposite the security check at the west gate, the Science Park exhibition hall is on the left, and the movie theater is on the right. The road in the middle leads to the main exhibition area of the Science and Technology Museum.

The ticket to the Science and Technology Museum is valid for the same day. You can go out and come back without buying another ticket, but you need to ask the staff at the exit to stamp your ticket when you leave.

The main exhibition hall has four floors, so it is impossible to experience everything. Children can go directly to the Science Park, where there are many performances and many small games to play, such as how to escape after an emergency landing, how to make paper, and the process of archaeological excavation.

This is a paradise for children. By the way, there are also several places with performances. If you want to watch it, pay attention to the performance time.

Tickets for the main museum, Children's Science Park (for children aged 3-8), and movies are sold separately. Tickets for Children's Science Park are very popular. It is recommended to buy tickets a week in advance during the peak tourist season. The 5th floor of the Science and Technology Museum is not open for the time being. If you are interested in aerospace, it is recommended to go to the 4th floor first, where there will be fewer people. There is a restaurant in the Science and Technology Museum, but we did not go there. I guess the cost performance is not high. You can bring some bread for lunch, which also saves time.

As the only national science and technology museum in China, the exhibition content is very rich and exquisite, and it is very valuable to bring children. It is best to prepare a whole day, otherwise you will not be able to finish it.

The China Science and Technology Museum is located at No. 5 Beichen East Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is a newly built museum with a special science enlightenment hall for young children - the Children's Science Park. It uses sound and light equipment to build a display stand that combines scientific and technological knowledge with play, attracting children to use their hands and brains, and absorb scientific knowledge unconsciously.

I haven't been in here yet, but it's a must-see.

By Don't Ask Xidong|

It is very good for popularizing science for primary and secondary school students.
The limitation of the number of tickets has led to rampant scalpers, and there is something fishy about the policy. So if you want to come, you have to book your tickets in advance.

The Science and Technology Museum is a very worthwhile place to visit! The children love it very much!

By Martian User|

The environment is better after the opening of the new museum. The exhibition is still the same, and the interactivity has been improved, but the content is not objective. It can be improved slowly.

Let's talk about the food in B1. It's expensive and tastes bad, 35 yuan for a rice bowl. It's not as good as the 8 yuan outside. Why not buy some self-heating rice and self-heating hot pot to bring in?

By Nino |

The exhibition hall will be adjusted at any time. When you go to see it yourself, there is only a temporary exhibition hall on the first floor.

According to China-TravelNote, the museum is open on Mondays, but unfortunately I found out it was closed after I got there. I will check in again next time~

I didn't go to the basement, which was a pity. I brought my 4-year-old child here and the experience was great.

It’s very good, everyone must go and visit it. There is also a children’s playground and so on. The ticket price is 30 yuan.

I took a group of kids there during the summer vacation. There were so many people that you had to queue up for all the activities. It was full of kids. There was also a lot of content.

If you have time when you come to Beijing, you must bring your children to visit the China Science and Technology Museum. There are many interesting scientific experiments in the museum that you can experience in person. In addition, the aerospace exhibition area has the actual return capsule of the Shenzhou 1 spacecraft, which is worth seeing.

By Cool Daddy|

From the first floor to the fourth floor, there are four theme exhibition halls: Light of China, Exploration and Discovery, Technology and Life, and Challenges and the Future. They display the achievements of ancient Chinese science and technology, explain the principles of application of technology in life, and simulate and display future high-tech. It is a good place to learn scientific knowledge and history.

The things inside are not as attractive as the outside, but overall it is good, and the children like it very much. However, there are too many people, and the children disappear if you are not careful. If an adult takes a child of the same age, it will be a tragedy...

There are many interesting things in the Science and Technology Museum, so I arranged a day to play here. It feels pretty good, so this time I brought my children to Beijing Science and Technology Museum to see it. The tickets were booked online in advance, and there is a self-service ticket collection area at the door. In fact, I later learned that those with ID cards can directly swipe their ID cards. This self-service ticket collection is mainly for those who buy tickets online but the children traveling with them do not have ID cards. Fortunately, I didn't queue too long. Ignore it. You can eat at noon on the basement floor. You need to deposit a card first, 200 yuan (including a deposit of 50 yuan), swipe the card to consume, and you can refund it after consumption. The food is not delicious, just enough to fill your stomach. In fact, you can bring your own food to eat, and it saves time.
I booked a dome movie online. I often watch 3D4D. I chose between giant screen and dome. I finally chose the dome because we don't have one there, and this dome is the largest in the country. I also chose "Greek Mystery" for the effect. I personally think the visual effect of the dome movie is very shocking, and I feel the new progress of science and technology. But my friend's children said that I didn't choose what they like, and said that the dome made them dizzy. They left by themselves not long after entering. I was frustrated again... In the end, they said that the Science and Technology Museum was not fun... I personally feel that the Science and Technology Museum is very suitable for children to play, and many projects can be interactive. It's just that there are really many people during the summer vacation, and it's a waste of time to queue up for many projects, and I can't get started at all.

Fortunately, we arrived early, and there were not too many people in the Science and Technology Museum, but there was still a long queue at the ticket office. In order to save time, my mother used her mobile phone to scan the QR code to buy tickets by herself. We bought tickets for the main venue and the Children's Science Park respectively. We still didn't buy tickets for a few theaters because we didn't know how long it would take to visit these two venues and we couldn't be sure about the theater's showtimes. But later we found out that our approach was wrong. When we finished the tour, the movie we wanted to watch was sold out, and we had to wait an extra hour to watch the last movie. We also bought the wrong tickets for the Children's Science Park because it was like an amusement park and was only suitable for children under 6 years old. Our family went in for a walk and then came out, wasting 3 tickets in vain. We can only blame ourselves for not making a good plan. We will definitely learn from this lesson in the future.
The museum is divided into five floors, one underground and four above ground. The main venues open to the public include the main exhibition hall of Hall A, the dome theater of Hall B, the children's science park of Hall C, the temporary exhibition hall and the special effects theater. In addition, the underground floor is the space theater, dynamic theater and 4D theater, where you can watch three-dimensional giant-screen movies and experience the magical effects of high technology.
Every scientific instrument in the exhibition hall is very novel to me. Many scientific principles can be demonstrated by hands-on operation to understand the principles of these phenomena. I really admire the greatness of scientists and the wonders of all things in the world.
In the afternoon, more and more people entered the museum, and there were long queues in the visiting area and the experience area. We decided to go to the cinema to watch a science and technology blockbuster. But we found that many tickets for the show were sold out, and only the last show of the giant screen theater "Museum's Resurrection Night" at 4:30 was left. So we hurriedly booked tickets and waited for admission. Because of this poor plan, we waited an extra hour in the Science and Technology Museum. It is recommended to buy movie tickets in advance in the future to avoid missing out on exciting movies.

In the direction of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, you can actually plan a one-day itinerary to visit these three places.
The little volunteers in the museum are great. They explain things seriously and in detail. When I asked, I found out they were all third or fourth graders. That’s awesome.
I was worried that the Children's Science Park would be too childish and boring, but the kids played there for more than three hours and were reluctant to leave. Next time I have time, I will try to visit the other museums.

Tickets for the Science and Technology Museum and movie tickets are all booked on the museum's official website. You can check in directly with your ID card, saving the time of queuing to buy tickets.

The China Science and Technology Museum was packed with people during the summer vacation. Every floor was bustling. It was recommended to enter from the west gate, which would be less crowded. We had booked tickets on the WeChat official account before, and it was easy and convenient to pick up the tickets. We walked around for nearly two hours. The amount of information was so huge that I was confused. At about the same time, we went straight to the dome theater. We had booked "Time Travel" before. It was the first time to watch a dome movie. Lying down to watch it made people feel immersive. It was great. After watching it, they were all reluctant to leave and regretted that they should have watched every dome movie when they came to the Science and Technology Museum, not just one.
The China Science and Technology Museum is near the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. In fact, after leaving the Science and Technology Museum, you can go to the nearby Beichen Shopping Center for dinner, and then go to see the night view of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube.

By China-TravelNote user|

The Science and Technology Museum is very large, with five theme exhibition halls. We arrived at the Science and Technology Museum at 10:30. There were already three layers of people outside the Science and Technology Museum. We queued for more than half an hour before passing the security check. We went straight to the "Science and Technology Park". There were many people in the Science and Technology Park. If you are not careful, people will disappear in the blink of an eye. I repeatedly told my son to keep an eye on adults. Fortunately, my son was not lost, but Bao's father was. I searched for half an hour but couldn't find him. I was about to post a missing person notice when the phone rang. Fortunately, it was just a loose phone card. It was a false alarm!
No matter how old the children are, they are still interested in playing. The water play bay, the safety island, and each exhibition area allow children to explore and experience by themselves. From the little mysteries of nature to the little common sense of science, and then to the little knowledge of safety, this "amusement park" allows children to play and learn happily. Build a house to see if your house can withstand earthquakes! Water is always a paradise for children. No matter how big it is, water has a natural attraction for them. Use a water barrier to block the water flow and release the water after the water rises. Use a mineral water bottle to catch the water and fill it from the downstream to the upstream. This took more than half an hour to play, and I was completely drunk!
The last one we played was a show. The first one was to see who could blow up a rectangular bag with air in one breath. Five children were required to perform on stage. My son took it upon himself to do it and was chosen by the magician to perform on stage. Although the bag was not filled with air, he was the one who blew the most. At first I thought it was a problem of lung capacity, but after watching it, I realized it was a problem of air circulation.
After the Science and Technology Park, we went straight to the Theme Park, but there were too many people in the theme park. When we were queuing to play, a child cut in line. My son is a very principled person and he was very unhappy with the child who didn't play by the rules. In the end, we just had a quick tour of the theme park.
We had lunch on the first floor of the Science and Technology Museum. The food wasn’t that great, but it was edible.

You need to buy tickets in advance on the China Science and Technology Museum's official account, check the show times of each theater, plan your route, and spend a day there. Once you get your ticket, you need to get a guide so you can watch it anytime, anywhere. The dome movie is very shocking and you should definitely go and experience it.

Take subway line 8 to the south gate of Olympic Forest Park, and there are electric cars to the China Science and Technology Museum (5 yuan per person), which is much more convenient.
We spent 5 hours in the Science and Technology Museum, including the main exhibition hall, 4D movies and children's science park. Many experiences in the main exhibition hall were suspended. If children have no interest in science, it is not worth a quick visit. The 4D movie was very interesting, but the time was too short. We chose a movie called "Robinson Crusoe". We didn't buy tickets for the dome movie, which should be better. The children's science park is a playground for playful children.

One of the largest science and technology museums in China, even so, the hall is still packed with people on weekends and summer vacation. There are three main parts in the country. The first is the science park. Walk to the left after entering the door. You need to buy tickets separately. It seems that children also need tickets. Walk to the right after entering the door. There is a movie city. The real main hall is to walk straight through the ticket hall after entering the door. Tickets for the main hall can be purchased by Alipay or WeChat. You can enter directly by swiping your ID card, or you can pick up tickets on the self-service device with your ID card, or you can buy them at the window.
The Science and Technology Museum displays traditional Chinese medicine pharmacies, acupuncture equipment and other instruments, and you can also experience Chinese medicine techniques such as pulse diagnosis.
From 12:30 onwards, there will be three live performances on the first floor, namely, rubbing performance, movable type printing performance and papermaking performance. In fact, there are many related performances and experience activities in the museum, and tourists can arrange their time reasonably according to their own preferences.
The robot dance show is one of the children’s favorite programs. Although it was almost over when we arrived, there were still three layers inside and three layers outside.
The airplane cockpit that simulates airplane flight is also one of the most popular scenes for children. Faced with the complex and various instruments, the children are excited but also feel the difficulty of being a pilot.
In addition to the cutting-edge spacecraft and rockets, the areas in the Science and Technology Museum that explain the development history of washing machines and the working principles of vacuum cleaners are closer to our lives, allowing children to deeply feel that technology and technological progress are around us.

The China Science and Technology Museum is the only national science and technology museum in my country, divided into Halls A, B and C.
Hall A: Watch different science and technology exhibitions Hall A is located on the first to fourth floors of the main building and is the main exhibition hall of the Science and Technology Museum. From the first to the fourth floor, there are four theme exhibition halls: Light of China, Exploration and Discovery, Science and Life, and Challenges and Future.
Hall B is located on the first floor of the main building and is a technology park suitable for children.
Hall C is a large circular dome cinema located outside the main building.

The Science and Technology Museum is so big that only two hours is obviously not enough. You can spend a whole day here.

Like the Forbidden City, many schools around here organize tours, so you can see a lot of students in school uniforms, including kindergarten children as well as elementary and junior high school children.
The Science and Technology Museum adopts an appointment system, and tickets are sold in limited quantities. It is safer to buy them online in advance before traveling. Visitors can enter with their ID cards. You can buy tickets directly by logging into the official website. The museum is divided into the main exhibition hall and the Science Park. The Science Park charges 20 yuan per child and 10 yuan for adults. Everyone needs a ticket. The main exhibition hall costs 30 yuan per person. Babies under 1.2 meters tall do not need tickets.
The baby’s favorite place is the Science Park, but unfortunately the paper-making experience equipment was under maintenance that day and was not open, which was a big regret.
The Science Park exhibition hall is designed for children aged 3-10, and consists of nine theme exhibition areas, namely Happy Farm, Water Play Bay, Science Castle, Forest Secrets, Safety Island, Performance Activity Field, Let's Do It Together, Know Yourself, and Creative Studio. The exhibition hall is based on the needs of children's growth, displays scientific and technological content suitable for children's physical and mental development, and adopts a diversified exhibition and teaching method based on gamification and exploratory interactive participation, encouraging children to experience it personally and think positively.
Everyone needs a ticket. The baby played here for about four hours and there were many interesting projects.
There is a simple restaurant in the Science and Technology Museum, located on the first floor underground. There is a fast food restaurant, you need to apply for a meal card before swiping the card to use it. Rice with meat or vegetarian dishes costs 20 yuan or 30 yuan respectively. It is enough to fill you up but the taste is really average. There is also a pizza shop inside, friends who like to eat can try it. The Science and Technology Museum is not far from the Xinao Center, friends can also go to the Xinao Center for meals,

A place worth visiting. It takes a day to visit. We took the subway to the south gate of the Forest Park. When we got out of the station, there was an electric car that took us to the west gate of the Science and Technology Museum. The ticket cost 5 yuan. Although the distance is very close, you should not save money because the Science and Technology Museum is very large and requires physical strength. The children's playground on the first floor costs money, but my nine-year-old child already found it boring. There are vending machines on each floor that sell drinks, but no snacks. I heard there is a restaurant, but I didn't have time to go there. I ate something at the subway station when I came back. Friends from other places can walk around nearby. It is very close to the Bird's Nest.

The tickets are cheap, and the children can have fun all day long and gain a lot of knowledge.

Try to enter through the East Gate, as there are fewer people lining up at the East Gate. On the fourth day of the Chinese New Year, it was almost noon 🕛, and there were a lot of people. There was a long line outside the West Gate, and I couldn't get in for an hour. Almost no one wanted to queue anymore. The staff shouted: Everyone go to the East Gate to line up. There was no one at the East Gate, so everyone ran to the East Gate and got in quickly. There were a lot of people inside, especially at the dining area. There were no seats, so the food was whatever was available 😳. There was a line to apply for and return meal cards. Many people squatted on the ground to eat, and stood by the wall to eat. It was very tiring, very tiring. I came three times, and twice I found a place to lean against the wall to sleep. It was very tiring~~~

The venue is large and has rich content. It is a good place for children in Beijing to learn about science and technology.

We came on Saturday, and there were quite a lot of people. Fortunately, the children lined up in an orderly manner, and there were volunteers to explain or maintain order for all the available experience projects. For older children, it is recommended to play mainly on the 2nd and 4th floors, where you can experience the full range of mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography, and biology. The exhibits are well maintained, and there are very few that cannot be used. There are direct drinking water machines on each floor, and there are also many beverage machines. It is worth experiencing again.

It is one of the must-go places for babies. I don’t need to say much about the impact on babies.

China Science and Technology Museum, exit the Olympic Park subway station, and you will see the white square and silver spherical buildings. The Science and Technology Museum is very large, with five theme exhibition halls and four special effects theaters, which can meet the needs of different age groups. If you visit carefully, you can't finish it in a day. Children aged 3-10 have their own "Science Park" theme exhibition hall, which can spend most of the day. The dome theater of the Science and Technology Museum is an important reason for attracting me. "Aurora" is great, the 360-degree dome effect is quite shocking, and the vast sky and dancing aurora are everywhere. It is very beautiful.

By simple_happy|

It's very big and fun. There is a children's playground on the first floor, which is suitable for young children and is fun and educational. The other floors are exhibition halls with different themes. The introduction content is very extensive, and adults also benefit a lot from it. If you play seriously, you can play from morning to night without any effort. I accompanied my child to play until the announcement of closing 😅. Highly recommended.

Actually, this place is very ordinary, but the ticket price is cheap. It is basically a children's playground. The children are very happy playing here.

I came here three years ago. The facilities inside have not changed in the past three years. They are just more outdated. There are too many young children, so it's not interesting. There are a few long queues for fun.

By Ryan li |

Although the facilities inside are a bit old, the children still like it very much, especially the global screen inside, which is very shocking to watch. It’s just that each show is too short.

The subway is very convenient. Take Line 8 and get off at the South Gate of Forest Park. The park opens on time at 9:00. Many people line up at the entrance of the square in the sun. In fact, there is no need to line up, because after entering the square, people will line up for tickets to each museum... I recommend that you order the tickets you want to go directly on the official account. You don’t need to collect tickets when entering the door. You can directly enter each museum by swiping your ID card (we booked the Children’s Science Park and the dome movie on the first floor and both went directly in). So after passing the security check at 9 o’clock, I went to store my bags (there are several baggage storage places. The one next to the lobby can only store backpacks, and the one next to the dome movie seems to be larger and can store suitcases). Bring a water cup and food, and you can store everything else. Be sure to arrive at the children's park early! We started at 9 o'clock and played almost all of them by 11:30. The key is that we didn't have to queue up, we just played directly. It was not the same in the afternoon. After we finished watching the movie, we went back to the theater. There was a long queue for any project. We didn't want to play anymore. When we went to the hall, we saw that the adults had occupied all the ground, lying and sitting... The dome movie is good. The length of each movie is available on the official account. We watched "Deep Sea Hunting", and the children liked it very much. You can go to queue up early, sit higher, and have a good viewing effect. But girls should not wear skirts, hehe... We didn't go up to the second floor or above. We left the museum at 3 pm and the adults were exhausted. Children under 7 years old can play on the first floor for a whole day...

I thought it wouldn't be crowded today since it was raining and it was a weekday. But... I heard from others that this was already a less crowded time, and there were more people on weekends. I only went to the Science Park, where I arrived at 10:30 and played until 3:00 in the afternoon to watch a dome movie. Maybe I've been to the Wuhan Science and Technology Museum for free too many times, so I didn't think it was too amazing, especially when there were too many people, the experience would be worse. Although I didn't have to wait in line for a long time to play, I still felt that I was full of children on summer vacation. There are some projects that the Wuhan Science and Technology Museum doesn't have to complement, but overall it's still very good. The dome is great, but the movie is a bit boring. I'll go to the exhibition hall when I have time. Anyway, it's impossible for me to visit all the exhibition halls in one day at the speed I take my kids. I also want to say that the scenery along the way from the subway is beautiful and not far away. If you really can't walk, there is no need to take the paid sightseeing bus.

Not bad. There is a place to store luggage. It's a holiday today so there are a lot of people

It is suitable to bring children there, where they can learn a lot of science and technology related knowledge, which is meaningful.

A great place for children to learn astronomy, the super-large dome theater is awesome!

It is worth a visit if you like science and technology. Young people can go to the Children's Pavilion. The layout of the general exhibition hall is a bit messy. But it is still worth a visit and a good place to learn science. Parking is convenient around

This place is very big, but with two kids, we only went to the science park for kids. It was great. I really think it's much better than going to the naughty castle park, and the tickets are not expensive. When it closed, I was reluctant to leave. Next time, we will come earlier and let you have enough fun!

On November 18, 2016, I went to the Asian Games Village and specifically visited the China Science and Technology Museum. I was considering sending my child here to study next summer and to see the living conditions around.

The China Science and Technology Museum is divided into three parts: one for young children to explore science through play; one for older children to visit; and the last is a dome, giant screen, 5D and other special effects movies. From the advanced technology of ancient China to the development of modern science, the scope is very wide and the content is very rich.

It's a good place to take children to study, it's a big place.

I think the Science and Technology Museum is the favorite for children, so it is best to choose this museum if you have children with you.

The Science and Technology Museum is suitable for children to go and learn knowledge happily

It is recommended that when you go to the Science and Technology Museum, you should first get a free guidebook from the entrance, arrange your time and route, and take into account the screening time of the theater, so as to visit the entire exhibition hall within one day. This is a very good place for children, and I will definitely come here when my son is older.

The second destination of this trip to Beijing is the China Science and Technology Museum. In fact, I wanted to go there last year, but unfortunately I originally planned to go there on Monday last year. Before leaving, I found out that the Science and Technology Museum was closed every Monday, so I had to cancel the trip. This time I came to Beijing again, I can't miss it again, of course I must include it in the itinerary. It's rare for Beijing to have such good weather, so I took photos as a souvenir. From the hotel where we stayed to the China Science and Technology Museum, if we take the subway, we have to walk a long way. In order to save energy, we took a taxi to and from the hotel, which took about half an hour to arrive. As soon as I entered the Science and Technology Museum, the first thing that caught my eye was a group of balloons that kept changing shapes above my head. When I bought the ticket, Ding Ding was watching the changes of the balloons on the side. Every time the balloons changed their shapes, he would jump and jump excitedly. The Children's Science Park, which is specially designed for children, is on the left side of the first floor. You can see it as soon as you enter the door. The tickets are sold separately from the main museum. Because I mainly bring Ding Ding to play, this park is of course the first stop for the tour. As soon as we entered the park, there was a cute insect car game at the door. As soon as Tintin saw the car, he rushed over and rode all the little insects.

Well, the most attractive thing about the Science and Technology Museum is the dome theater. I was stunned when I entered. The whole hemisphere is a screen, and you can lie down to watch it. The sound is also three-dimensional surround. The film played is about the natural landscape of Zimbabwe. From then on, I fell in love with this small country of Zimbabwe~ (The dome theater can accommodate 442 viewers. It uses a hemispherical screen with a diameter of 30 meters. The area of the movie screen on the screen is more than 1,000 square meters. It is equipped with a six-channel stereo sound effect. The dome theater is also equipped with an optical planetarium and a digital auxiliary projection system.) It would be a wonderful thing if Guangzhou’s future theaters were designed like this~^.^

There is a large parking lot in the southwest corner of the Science and Technology Museum. It seems to be 5 yuan per hour. Tickets can be purchased directly from the west gate. The Science and Technology Museum is very large and you can't visit the main hall in one day. Of course, if you want to watch a movie or go to the amusement park, you can buy the corresponding tickets directly. The main hall adult ticket is 30 yuan per ticket, and children under 1.2 meters are free.

The technological works are eye-catching and particularly attractive. It is really worth a visit to broaden your horizons.

China Science and Technology Museum is really big and good, except that there were too many people during lunch, which would be better if it could be improved. I didn't see the second floor, I will come back next time. Recommended for children. The equipment is very new and you can try many projects, but you have to queue. Arrive early and play the Science Park on the first floor when there are fewer people. In order not to waste time, it is best to bring your own lunch.

There are many bus lines that can get you to the China Science and Technology Museum, but I personally recommend taking the subway, which is the fastest and most convenient way to get there. Take Metro Line 8 to the "Olympic Park" station, get off, exit from the northeast exit, walk north and then east for about 10 minutes. It should be noted that the Science and Technology Museum is closed on Mondays.
The Science and Technology Museum has five theme exhibition halls, namely "Science Park", "Light of China", "Exploration and Discovery", "Science and Life", and "Challenges and the Future", as well as a public space exhibition area and four special effects theaters, including a dome theater, a giant screen theater, a dynamic theater, and a 4D theater. In addition, there are also many laboratories, classrooms, science lecture halls, and multi-functional halls. The ordinary ticket for the main exhibition hall is 30 yuan/person, and the student ticket is 20 yuan/person. The Science Park exhibition hall sells tickets separately, with children's tickets at 20 yuan/person and adult tickets at 10 yuan/person. In addition, the dome theater, giant screen theater, dynamic theater, and 4D theater also sell tickets separately, with ordinary tickets at 30 yuan/person and student tickets at 20 yuan/person.
The main building of the Science and Technology Museum is a large single square building. It uses several building block-like blocks to interlock with each other, making the whole building look like a huge "Lu Ban Lock" or a "Magic Cube", which contains the meaning of "unlocking" and "exploring mysteries".
In the "Exploration and Discovery" exhibition hall, there is a 75 million-fold microscope. Put your finger in the groove of the instrument, rotate the wheel, and adjust the magnification. You can see a lot of bacteria and microorganisms on your hands. It's so disgusting. It reminds us intuitively: Be sure to wash your hands before eating, otherwise you may get sick from your mouth! In the area showing human life, what impressed me most was that when you press yourself in the designated position, you can see that your heartbeat rhythm is exactly the same as the frequency of the fountain in front of you. When you run a lap in the Science and Technology Museum, your heartbeat rate speeds up, and the fountain in front of you also speeds up. It feels very magical! Our heart is really like a big water pump, which works day and night to continuously transport blood to various organs of the body. It's so hard! After that, I was also deeply impressed by the serious understanding of the formation process and serious harm of acid rain. Thinking about the smog in Beijing in recent years, I sighed for a long time. Environmental governance is really imminent~~

A good place to take children to play, rich in content and inexpensive

It's next to the Bird's Nest and you can walk there. It's pretty good and the children had a lot of fun.

It's right next to the Bird's Nest, so pay attention to the opening hours when you go.

China Science and Technology Museum, or China Science and Technology Museum for short. It is a great science museum where you can learn a lot of knowledge. The museum is well built, but lacks management. For example, children destroy machines at will, and the adults at home don't care, and the staff don't care, so many machines are broken.

By He Ming |

If this scale of science and technology museum was put in fifteen years ago, or even ten years ago, it would still be a good place for children to learn about science. But today's children are no longer satisfied with the old facilities, many of which are broken and under repair all year round. If you have enough time, you can still bring your children to see it. There are 5 theme exhibition halls such as "Science Park", public space display areas and 4 special effects theaters such as dome theaters. The science and technology museum building presents a huge "Luban Lock" shape, which is very spectacular.

There were a lot of people during the National Day holiday. Due to time constraints, I didn't go to the main hall, so I took my children directly to the Science Park, which is suitable for children under 10 years old. The child ticket is 20 yuan, and the accompanying adult ticket is 10 yuan, but I feel that there are not many things to play, and many of them are broken. I heard that the main hall is good, I will go there next time.

It is recommended that children in grade 2 and above must visit this attraction. There are all kinds of easy-to-understand science and technology models that can be operated by hand, allowing children to feel the charm of science while doing it! When entering the museum, take a map with performance arrangements for different time periods. You can carefully check the time and location and arrange the tour route, so that children can see a different world of science. From optics, astronomy, electricity, mechanics, magnetic induction, etc., children can operate it by hand!

The China Science and Technology Museum is very large, and one day is not enough to just tour it. Let’s take the children to experience it first. This is a place worth visiting many times. I can only envy my friends who live in Beijing.

I thought there wouldn’t be many people here at the China Science and Technology Museum, but in fact there are many local Beijing students here, and there are more people in the afternoon than in the morning. So if you want to come, try to avoid the weekends and go out early!

The China Science and Technology Museum is located on Beichen East Road, Chaoyang District, not far from the Forest Park. There are all kinds of "wonderful" things here, and many primary school students come to visit in groups. There are various practical experiences and popular science experiments here. I believe you will not want to leave after a day of visiting. There is a children's science park in the museum, which is very suitable for children. There are also four special effects theaters such as the 4D theater. There are unexpected surprises on every floor and even every place, and you can truly experience the charm of "science".

A great science and technology museum with comprehensive facilities. It is worth it for children to go and see a lot of things.

1. Official website: ***
2. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday. Most Chinese restaurants are closed on Mondays, so be sure to arrange your time well.
3. Opening hours: 9:30-17:00
4. Ticket price: 15-30 yuan. The Science and Technology Museum is divided into floors. The children's area on the first floor is suitable for children aged 3-10. In fact, 10-year-old children think it is childish. The ticket is 20 yuan for children and 10 yuan for adults. You can store your bag with the ticket, which is an absolutely trouble-free measure~~ Children above the second floor don't like it very much. Adults can go and have a look, but compared with the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, there is still a gap~~
5. Travel route: Beijing's subway is very convenient. Take Line 8 and get off at Olympic Park Station, exit from the northeast exit, walk north and then east for about 10 minutes. There are many buses, so you can check the navigation in advance according to where you live.
6. Lunch: Don't be stingy when you go out. Children usually spend a day at the Science and Technology Museum. We always go there for a day. It's tiring to bring children with us, so we don't bring meals. We only bring water and fruits to keep the children hydrated. The underground first floor is the dining area. There is a pizza buffet, which is very expensive, and the children don't want to eat inside. There is a meal outside, which costs about 30 yuan. It is very convenient. There are 2 dishes, 1 meat and 1 soup, which are definitely enough to fill you up~~
7. Travel situation: You may think that the ticket is a one-time use and you are afraid to go out. Don’t be afraid. When you go out, put an invisible stamp on your arm. When you enter again, shine a fluorescent light on it, and all the problems will be solved. But try to let them stamp on the neck, otherwise it will fall off when washing hands~~

A very worthwhile place to visit, especially if you bring children, this is one of the must-visit places. As a national-level science and technology museum, there are many popular science introductions and hands-on projects in the museum, and the operation is simple and the principles are easy to understand. If you go to the upper grades of elementary school and junior high school, you will gain a lot. The venue in the museum is very large, with a total of four floors. The first floor introduces the achievements of ancient Chinese science and technology, and there is also a science and technology park for children to play. The second to fourth floors are themes of exploration and discovery, technology and life, and the future and challenges. Each floor is divided into four halls, showing different aspects of the content. There is also a floor underground, which is a restaurant and special effects. Some participating projects in the cinema are open at fixed points. Generally, the opening schedule is posted in front of this project. If you want to play, you must pay attention to the time, queue up in advance, and stagger with other participating projects. We went there four times in total, and each time we played from opening to closing. This place is too attractive to children. Later, I introduced many colleagues to come here, and they all felt the same way. Once the children came, they didn't like to leave. Taking the subway is faster and more convenient than taking the bus. You can get off at Olympic Park Station or Forest Park South Gate Station on Metro Line 8. The Science and Technology Museum is located between these two stations, on the same axis as the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. There are restaurants in the museum, but the variety is very limited and relatively expensive. You can bring your own food in, but you must pay attention to hygiene. The venue is very clean and we cannot litter. There are not many people in the Science and Technology Museum on weekdays, but it is crowded during holidays. The adult ticket is 30 yuan, the student ticket is 20 yuan, and the children under 18 years old are 15 yuan. It is said that students are free during the summer vacation, but when we went there in the summer of 2015, the students bought tickets, but when we went there during the winter vacation of 2013, the children did not have to pay for tickets. In short, this is a very worthwhile place to go. It is fun and rewarding for children.
