UCCA Center for Contemporary Art adheres to the institutional philosophy of "continuously letting good art influence more people" and is committed to promoting global dialogue and cultural exchange. In 2007, as a non-profit art museum, UCCA Center for Contemporary Art opened to the public in the 798 Art Center District, covering a total area of about 10,000 square meters. The main building of the venue was renovated from the original factory building in the 1950s. At present, UCCA has three venues: UCCA Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, UCCA Edge in Shanghai, and UCCA Dune Art Museum in Beidaihe. In addition to providing art exhibitions, public projects and research programs, UCCA also includes a 4A-level foundation dedicated to public welfare, UCCA Kids, which provides all-round art education for children, and UCCA Lab, which focuses on exploring cross-border cooperation in art. While continuously winning the honor of China's Outstanding Art Museum, UCCA has also created a unique integrated operation model for the development of global art institutions.

UCCA is probably the largest art museum in 798, and the quality of its exhibitions has always been very high. Since the glass wall at the entrance was replaced, the entire building looks particularly tall and majestic, and the overall atmosphere is one of the best in the country. It feels better than many foreign art museums.
Now we are holding a photography exhibition with the theme of civilization. It is divided into eight chapters and displays more than 250 works by more than 120 photographers from home and abroad. The exhibition hall is very large and the curator's overall thinking is very clear. Many of the works are shocking to people.
When I left, I found that the cultural and creative products sold in the store at the entrance were also very creative and worth a visit.
In June, China's largest exhibition of authentic Picasso works will be held here, and I will come again then.
The curved glass at the entrance of the renovated UCCA building is very eye-catching. The three exhibitions, Qiu Zhijie: A Global Map, Civilization: Revelations of Contemporary Life, and Wei Honglei, are all of very high quality. The photography exhibition of Civilization brings together the world's top photography masters to explore the impact of contemporary civilization on people's lives, while Qiu Zhijie's exhibition uses maps to show his views on the world, which is well worth a visit.
I saw the photography exhibition "Civilization" at UCCA. The exhibition reflected on modern life from many aspects, and the stories behind many works are very interesting! There are so many works on display, and it takes a long time to read the introductions of the works one by one. The new UCCA facade seems to have been renovated for a long time, and it finally appeared this year. There are trees planted at the door. It should be nice to come here to spend the summer~ Teacher Qiu Zhijie's Universal Map is so big and cool, suitable for taking pictures!
I saw the Picasso special exhibition and I liked it very much. It was great.
It's in 798 and the location is easy to find. I went there to see an exhibition last year and it was pretty good.
Recommendation index: one star
There were three exhibition halls on the day, namely Xie Nanxing: Spice, Sarah Morris: Odyssey and New Directions: Zhang Yunhan. The highlight was that there would be volunteer tour guides to vividly explain the meaning of each painting, allowing children and people who don’t know much about art to quickly get the meaning of the painting.
The security guards repeatedly reminded us not to lean against the wall, which was a bit disappointing. The exhibition hall was not very large, so it was not very convenient to take portraits. Of course, many people may come to UCCA with the intention of seeing an art exhibition, so I will ignore what I said. If you come to 798 with the intention of "entering an art museum to take photos and post them on WeChat Moments", you may be disappointed.
The iconic art museum in 798 was founded by the Ullens couple. In this art museum that retains the original industrial factory style, in addition to the 10 different exhibitions presented in four exhibition halls every year, there are also regular lectures, art cinemas, live performances and other activities. It is also a good way to meet like-minded people through art activities and chat about interesting art topics.
In addition, it is a wonderful afternoon choice to search for your favorite designer products at the Ullens Art Store and then sit at the Story Café.

The last time I went to UCCA, I went to Edison Chen's "Sound Art" exhibition. Listening to the songs he wrote and looking at the exhibition he arranged, I had an indescribable feeling.
Recommended reasons:
The exhibitions inside are very refreshing. Even if you don’t go to the exhibitions, you can also go to the "Ullens Art Store" where the artworks sold are very unique.
After seeing three large dinosaurs in cages, we arrived at the largest art gallery in 798.

The Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCAA), located in the heart of Beijing's 798 Art District, was founded by Belgian collectors Ullens and his wife. Every year, UCAA presents many art exhibitions of varying scales and with a wide range of themes.
Come and see the exhibition when you have time. There are some unique artists here, and their paintings and photographs are worth seeing.
I came to UCCA again to participate in the activities of Tuchong. It was my first time to visit the museum after the venue was upgraded. The activities included speeches and exhibitions. Photography exhibitions usually have darker spaces. The scene of "Civilization: The Revelation of Contemporary Life" was quite stunning, with anti-traditional pure white and bright yellow. The viewing route of the eight chapters reflects the ingenious conceptual logic of the curator. Every time I come to UCCA, I can quietly enjoy a good exhibition or watch a good movie. UCCA is the art museum in Beijing that pays the most attention to details and exhibition quality. I look forward to Picasso in the summer vacation. I will definitely come.
