Pofengling is about 52km away from downtown Beijing, about 3km northwest of Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing, and adjacent to Yuxu Palace on Baojin Mountain in Beijing.
Since 2009, Pofengling has built a 6km long mountain road from a barren mountain. All materials are local rocks, and sand and cement are carried up the mountain by manpower. It can be said that it took a lot of hard work to build the mountain road today.
Red, orange, yellow, green, indigo, and purple, who is holding the colorful ribbons dancing in the sky? Compared with the red leaves of Xiangshan, the red leaves of Pofengling have a different charm.

A popular place for viewing red leaves in Beijing. This year, I couldn't hold back and finally put down my work and went there on October 31st. It happened to be a sunny day. So I was in a very good mood. I left home late in the morning and arrived at Pofengling at 11:30. Then, about 5 kilometers from the scenic area, they stopped us from driving up, saying that the parking lot inside was full and we had to park here. Then we were taken there by a free shuttle bus.
Although it was Wednesday, there were still many people, but compared to the weekend, there were fewer people. After entering the scenic area, you first go to the dining area, and then just walk along the mountain road.
The vegetation of Pofengling is mostly Cotinus coggygria, which is all red in autumn, very beautiful. People are everywhere stopping to take pictures. The most beautiful scenery is actually on the way down the mountain. There is a century-old Cotinus coggygria tree, which is very big and has all red leaves, very beautiful. In addition, there are not many people on the way down the mountain, and the red leaves are very beautiful.
It's worth a visit. But don't go on holidays. Also, be sure to choose a sunny day, the photos you take will definitely be great
20191029, Beijing’s autumn starts here.
It’s such a beautiful time. The whole world is colorful. When you close your eyes, you can see all kinds of red and yellow. It’s a visual feast.
Friends who enjoy the outdoors in Beijing all know that the most beautiful red leaves are in Pofengling - Baojin Mountain. Now Pofengling has established a red leaf scenic area, and the mountain behind it - Baojin Mountain is still in its original state.
The total area of the red leaf sightseeing area of Pofengling is about 2,000 mu, and the circular trail up and down the mountain is 6 kilometers long. There are rich plant resources here. The slope is mostly distributed with persimmon trees, walnut trees, peach trees, mountain apricot trees, and poplar trees, as well as wild jujubes, wild mountain pears, and wild chrysanthemums. Going up the steps on the half-slope, the winding path is dominated by naturally grown cotinus coggygria on both sides, and poplars and koelreuteria trees are densely distributed on the high slopes. Among them, there are eight varieties of red leaves, including cotinus coggygria, maple, and torch, with tens of thousands of trees.
At Pofengling, there are not only colorful autumn leaves, but also steep cliffs and the strange Coffin Mountain in the distance as the background for shooting. It is redder, more beautiful and more dangerous than Xiangshan.
Since the road to Pofengling is a two-way two-lane road, it is very easy to get stuck. So try to go on weekdays. If you go on weekends, you must leave the city before 6 am, otherwise you will not arrive at noon.
Pofengling, located in Fangshan District, has beautiful natural scenery, especially in autumn when the colorful trees change color, and the mountains are covered with cotinus, maple and creeper, which burns up the hills. The farmhouses here are also very unique and the service is also very good. Pofengling is also the birthplace of the story of the old movie "Red Backpack". It is also a good place to enjoy the scenery and relax.
Pofengling is located in the suburbs of Beijing. Autumn is the best season to visit as the mountains are covered with red leaves.
I have always wanted to visit the surrounding areas of Beijing. I wanted to go to Labagou. As a result, I read the travel notes written by China-TravelNote friends. It was too late to go there in early November. After searching, Pofengling was quite good, so I decided to take a look. The family of three left home at 10 o'clock. There was a small traffic jam on the road, and we arrived after 12 o'clock. When we were about to reach the scenic spot, there was a huge parking lot, and there was a free tourist bus next to it to take us to the scenic spot. It takes about a quarter of an hour to walk from the scenic spot to the ticket office. There are various snacks and mountain products along the way. The snacks taste very ordinary. I recommend instant noodles. I can't praise the river noodles. Mountain products are not expensive. It is recommended that you drive directly to the foot of the mountain. There is also a parking lot. Like the parking lot mentioned above, it charges 10 yuan. You can park anywhere, saving you the time of walking and waiting in line for the bus. The ticket price is 50 yuan for adults and 25 yuan for children over 1.2 meters tall. There are more people and it is more crowded these two days. There are not many red leaves on the mountain. Climbing along the stone steps, there are more red leaves on both sides. I guess they were planted later. The scenery on the way down the mountain is better than on the way up the mountain, and the red leaves are more beautiful.
I didn't have high expectations, I just wanted to go out for a walk on the weekend. The ticket price of 50 is quite expensive, but it's quite big once you get in. It took me 3 and a half hours to walk the whole way without taking a break, and I took some photos in the middle. I went there on October 28th, and the red leaves were in season, which was not bad. You can see the valley next to it from the top of the mountain, which is quite interesting. There are more beautiful red leaves on the way down the mountain, which is really beautiful. Of course, you have to add filters to some parts to take pictures. There is a street of agricultural products at the foot of the mountain, with many fruits, dried fruits, and places to eat. I ate casserole and casserole instant noodles, which are okay. Looking up at the foot of the mountain, there is a mountain whose cross-section shape is very similar to that of ancient architectural relics, which is a bit interesting. Overall, it's not bad, and there are many people, but I don't know how it compares to Xiangshan, anyway, I haven't been to Xiangshan. When entering the scenic area, the last few kilometers were blocked for 1 hour. After parking in a parking lot, you need to take a free shuttle bus to the entrance of the scenic area because there is no large parking lot in the scenic area. When I came, my husband said he would not come next time, but when I left, he said he would come to enjoy the red leaves tomorrow, haha. Come again next year.
I haven't seen any maple leaves in the whole morning, and I've only seen traffic jams and people? Is this all caused by excessive self-media propaganda? Aren't we allowed to see the real scene?
I went to Pofengling today (22nd), and the red leaves were already red. If tourists are physically exhausted, they can go up the mountain from the way down and only need to climb halfway. The scenery is beautiful, but it is meaningless to actually climb to the top of the mountain, as there is nothing there.
I went to Pofengling with my friends on the weekend. There were many people, but the leaves were red and beautiful. The mountain road was a bit rugged, but it was very suitable for climbing.
If you drive there by yourself, you need to park in a parking lot five kilometers away from the entrance of the scenic spot. There is a free shuttle bus. However, there are a lot of people queuing for the shuttle bus. The total round trip distance on the mountain is 6 kilometers. The red leaves are very beautiful around October 20. Small dogs are allowed in the scenic area, but large dogs are not allowed. Traffic jams start around nine in the morning and around three in the afternoon. You can go early and return early during the peak period of red leaves viewing to avoid congestion.
There were so many people, comparable to the Golden Week. It was crowded going up the mountain, people were close to each other, and it was impossible to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. There were also people going the wrong way. The road was narrow, but it was better after 2000 meters. The red leaves were basically the same. There were roads down the mountain at 2500 meters and 1700 meters, but there were also many people going the wrong way. It was also seriously congested after 5300 meters down the mountain. There were no waiters to guide tourists in the scenic area. There were food for sale at the entrance, but you didn't have to bring any. There were mountain products and food for sale from the exit of the scenic area to the parking lot. In short, the scenery was beautiful, but there were too many people. If possible, don't go on weekends. The weather was not good on October 20, it was gray and there was smog.
We set off at 8 o'clock in the morning and the navigation estimated that we would arrive at 9 o'clock. However, there was a traffic jam when we were 3 kilometers away, so we actually arrived at almost 10 o'clock. We parked the car at Parking Area 1 and took a shuttle bus, which was about 5 kilometers away. It was not an exaggeration to say that the scenic area was crowded with people. People were squeezed together and the road was very narrow. It was not a good experience at all!
I went there last weekend. The scenery is nice. It feels better to see the red leaves than Xiangshan. It's just that it's not easy to walk when there are many people climbing the mountain. The food is rarely affordable. The ticket is a little expensive, 50 yuan
The scenery is especially beautiful when the leaves turn red. The nearby villages and towns are famous courtyards, such as Shanzha Courtyard and Grandma's House. The current peak season retail price is 50 yuan per person. Climbing high and looking far is always enjoyable.
Pofengling of Youlanshan Scenic Area is located 3km northwest of Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing. It is adjacent to Yuxu Palace on Baojin Mountain in Beijing and 50km away from the city.
Starting in 2009, a 6,000-meter mountain road was first built from a barren mountain. All materials were local rocks, and sand and cement were completely carried up the mountain by manpower. It can be said that after going through untold hardships, we have today's 6,000-meter mountain road. Not far from Pofengling, there is a Lima Cement Factory, which was invested by Zhejiang people and started construction in 2003 and was completed and put into production in 2005. At that time, we provided equipment for the cement factory substation. The cement produced by Lima should have played a role in the development and construction of Pofengling.
At the entrance of the Pofengling Scenic Area is the tourist reception center, where tourists can rest and eat, while children happily pick corn.
At the beginning of the slope of Pofengling, there are mostly persimmon trees, walnut trees, peach trees, wild apricot trees, and poplar trees, accompanied by wild jujube, wild mountain pear, and wild chrysanthemum. Going up the steps on the half slope, there are many naturally growing cotinus coggygria on both sides of the winding path, accompanied by elm, elm, jujube, and mountain thorn. On the high slope, there are densely distributed tall cotinus coggygria, Koelreuteria paniculata, and poplar trees, so dense that the sun cannot be seen, making it a holy place for a short rest and relaxation. There are seven or eight varieties of red leaves, such as Acer truncatum, Cotinus coggygria, and Torch, with tens of thousands of trees, which is the best choice for enjoying the red leaves all over the mountain in autumn.
Walking along the mountain road built in 2009, you can see a different scene with every step, just like walking in a painting. The red leaves are colorful and dazzling, comparable to the maple leaves in Kyoto, Japan. As you approach the top of the mountain, the scenery is like an overturned dye vat in the heavenly palace, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Who is dancing in the sky with colorful streamers?
Compared with the red leaves in Xiangshan, the red leaves in Pofengling have a different charm. If Xiangshan in late autumn is "all over the mountains and the forests are dyed red", then Pofengling is "red leaves in the green, colorful streamers dancing in the sky". Red, orange, yellow, green, pink and brown complement the blue sky and white clouds. From a distance, it looks like colorful streamers dancing in the sky, forming a flowing sea of colors. The gorgeous colors come from the rich plant resources here.
After enjoying the beautiful autumn scenery, we reluctantly went down the mountain. Autumn in Beijing is the most beautiful, don't let it go to waste.
Going down to the foot of the mountain, you will find the Red Backpack Restaurant at Pofengling, which provides pressed noodles, steamed buns, wild vegetables, tofu feasts, and fast food, and you can go home after your meal.
piaoliangggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
The mountain roads here are actually not difficult to walk on. They are all well-built stone steps. The steps are not high and are easy to walk on. Of course, this is only in normal weather and temperature.
The higher you climb up the mountain, the stronger the light becomes, and the true appearance of the cotinus coggygria gradually emerges.
I met some cute pets on the way up the mountain. I would like to remind you again that you can bring small pets to Pofengling Scenic Area~
On May 11, 2018, I drove there with my friends. We were two cars, but we got stuck on the road just after exiting the highway. Gaode showed a two-kilometer jam and five cars rear-ended each other in a chain reaction. . .
It doesn't take long to drive from the city to Pofengling parking lot. The highway fee is 15 yuan. When you get to the parking lot, the parking fee is 10 yuan. The ticket office is 200 to 300 meters away. There is no shuttle bus like other comments say. Maybe it's not available during the off-season?
Climbing the mountain is actually quite physically demanding, so it is recommended that you eat something before going up the mountain. Don't rush up on an empty stomach, as you may not be able to hold on.
The scenery in the mountains is very nice. The higher you climb, the better it is. This season we are looking at the Cotinus coggygria.
It took about three or four hours from the beginning to the end. One of us couldn't climb any more and another fainted from hunger. So we didn't make it to the top, which was a little regretful.
In addition, the ticket price is 30 for adults and 15 for children (free for children under 1.2 meters tall). One adult ticket comes with a 10-yuan coupon that can be used at the designated restaurant at the foot of the mountain.
The specialty might be the fried noodles. There was a long queue, but more than ten bowls could be produced from that big pot, so the process was quite fast.
Soy milk, tofu and other soy products are also good, but the taste of brine is too strong. I personally don't appreciate it very much.
Overall, the meal was not expensive. We were six people and one child, and the total cost was less than 200 yuan. Five bowls of noodles, three dishes, seven soy milks, one orange juice, and two Arctic Ocean.
The overall feeling is good, because we went in May, there are not many people. Remember to spray mosquito repellent and sunscreen when entering the mountain. There are many mosquitoes in the mountain. There are always bees surrounding me and stinging me.
I personally suggest not to go there in October or November. My colleague went there and just went there to see people. You can't go up the mountain, and you can't go down the mountain. Pofengling is beautiful in spring and summer.
I know my photos look like my dad... Just take a look at them.
Just to see the red leaves, there are some historical sites nearby. You can combine the two and see them together, which is suitable for tourists. Hikers mostly view the red leaves from wild roads.
It was a little late when we went there, so the red leaves were not very lush. There was also some haze.
But you can still feel the beauty of Pofengling.
The red and yellow leaves in autumn are worth visiting. It is much larger than Xiangshan Mountain and not as crowded as Xiangshan Mountain. But be careful about traffic problems. There are a lot of traffic jams during the Red Leaf Festival.
The parking lot of the scenic area is some distance away from the gate of the scenic area. Even if you take the shuttle bus, you still have to walk a long way to go up the mountain, which feels inconvenient!
It's just a name, the vendors are chaotic and disorderly, the scenery is completely random, there is no need to take any photos, it's not worth a visit.
The company organized a trip and there was a real traffic jam for a long time. There might be only one road leading into the mountain and the road was too narrow to divert traffic. I don't know how Pofengling became so famous. I saw tourist buses from Tianjin and Hebei along the way.
There were many people at the entrance, but as you climbed up the mountain, there were fewer people. There were different routes for going up and down the mountain. The scenery was average when you went up with the main group, but the scenery was good and there were fewer people when you went down the mountain. My colleague also brought a drone, and the scenery he took from above was also very interesting.
Generally speaking, if you climb slowly when there are not many people here, it is a good place to relax, but with the density of people in this scenic area now, it would not be worthwhile to spend 50 yuan to come here.
Actually, there is really no need to go. I went there on Monday and was stuck in traffic for a long time. The scenery at the entrance was too commercial. The mountain is not high, and there were aunties and uncles all over the mountain taking pictures. I don’t recommend it!
It is worth seeing, with red leaves all over the mountains and beautiful peaks.
I went there last Sunday, October 29. The weather was good that day, so I found that there were many people going hiking.
Travel: Depart from the New Zhongguancun Building in Zhongguancun at around 7:30 in the morning. The road was smooth. Arrived at Louzishui Village at around 9 o'clock. Traffic jams started and there were traffic police directing traffic. There were apple orchards on the roadside. There were also vendors selling various fruits and vegetables. The cars were moving slowly, so you could get off and stroll around.
After about 30 minutes of traffic jam, we can drive up the mountain. Local staff will direct us to the parking lot. Then we will take the shuttle bus to go up the mountain. Parking lot 2 is for buses. The others are private car parking lots. We parked in Parking lot 3, and it takes about 6 or 7 minutes to take the shuttle bus to the foot of the mountain. When going down the mountain, there are many people queuing for the shuttle bus, and the order is not good. It takes a long time to queue. Many people walk down the mountain, walk one stop, and go to Parking lot 2. It takes about 30 minutes to walk slowly, and about 15 minutes to walk fast. You can take the shuttle bus again. It is not crowded and there are seats. It is 5 kilometers away to walk directly to Parking lot 3. When returning to Beijing, the road to Beijing is still congested. Everyone understands.
Food: There are many vendors at the foot of the mountain. If you come out early and haven't eaten yet, you can buy some corn and sweet potatoes. When you enter the scenic area, you will see a sea of food. The famous 10 yuan bowl of fried noodles is there, but you have to queue up at the order counter to pay and get the ticket, then queue up to get the noodles, and then get the sauce. There are many stalls at the foot of the mountain, and many people buy. The hawthorn is very sour, and the persimmons are available in soft and hard varieties. It depends on what you like.
Hiking: There are a lot of people on the mountain. Most of the red leaves are not maple leaves, but they are also beautiful. It's just that it got colder this year, so the leaves dried up while they were red. The mountain road is narrow and there are many steps. Stop when you want to take pictures, don't take pictures while walking. The mountain is very big, you don't have to go inside. It takes a lot of time to walk around the outside because you have to stop and take pictures.
Cost: Toll 15 yuan, parking fee 10 yuan, ticket group purchase 2 hours in advance on Dianping.com for 45 yuan/person, fried noodles 10 yuan/person, soy milk 2 yuan/person.
In autumn, the natural scenery here is really beautiful, with red leaves all over the mountain! But after driving here on the weekend and getting off the main road, the 20-kilometer road was blocked for a full 3 hours! There are not much fewer people here than in Xiangshan! The entrance to the scenic spot is carefully decorated and has some characteristics, but! But the toilet is extremely unclean! Simple toilet, shared by men and women, with a partition of less than 2 meters, you can hear everything next to you, no lights at night, dirty and smelly, and cold! Why can the scenic spot build a good landscape but not a clean and tidy toilet? ? ? ? ! ! !
I think the online claims that this place is less crowded and has beautiful scenery are fake. I suspect it was written by an insider to attract tourists. There are many people, the roads are difficult to walk on, and the scenery? I think it's just any park in Beijing...
There were really a lot of people...Private cars can only drive to the parking lot at the bottom of the mountain, and then take the free shuttle bus up...The ticket is 50 yuan. I went there at the end of October. The leaves were not yet completely red, just red, yellow and green overlapping. It felt so-so...I went down the mountain at around 9 o'clock and walked back...Thanks for going early, the traffic on the way back was jammed for about ten kilometers when I went down the mountain...
Pofengling can be reached by bus, and the park has a shuttle bus. There are few tourists on weekdays, and the red leaves are all over the mountain, with few diseases, and it is highly ornamental. There are farm meals in the scenic area, and you can go on a day trip.
1. It is still early now and the leaves have not changed color yet. It seems that it will be better in November.
2. The main purpose of this place is to see the colorful forests. Other so-called scenic spots, such as Qingfeng Pavilion and Haohanyan, are nonsense.
3. Farmhouses have some characteristics, and the things done by farmers are quite authentic.
Pofengling is located in Zhoukoudian, Fangshan District, Beijing. It is not too far from the city center, but there are many people driving there this season, so it is better to leave early. Basically, there will be traffic jams at the entrance of the scenic spot. Although there are 3 parking lots in the scenic spot, they are not enough.
There are many small parking lots along the road, which are not very formal and have a uniform price of 20 yuan.
Compared with the red leaves of Xiangshan, the red leaves of Pofengling have a different charm. If Xiangshan in late autumn is "all the mountains are red, and the forests are dyed red", then Pofengling is "red leaves in the green, and colorful streamers dance in the sky". The slope is mostly distributed with persimmon trees, walnut trees, peach trees, wild apricots, and poplars, accompanied by wild jujubes, wild pears, wild chrysanthemums, etc.
Climbing up the steps on the hillside, you will see naturally growing tall Cotinus coggygria on both sides of the winding path, accompanied by Ulmus pumila, Eleutherodactyla, Jujube jujube, and Chasteberry. On the high slope, tall Cotinus coggygria, Koelreuteria paniculata, and poplar trees are densely distributed, so dense that you can't see the sky, making it a holy place for a rest, leisure and relaxation.
Red, yellow, green, pink and black complement the blue sky and white clouds. From a distance, they look like colorful ribbons dancing in the sky, forming a flowing ocean of colors. The bright colors come from the rich plant resources here. Among them, there are seven or eight varieties of red leaves, including Acer truncatum, Cotinus coggygria, and Torchwood, with tens of thousands of plants.
I remember that I arrived at around 10 o'clock in the morning. You need to climb Pofengling. When you arrive at the scenic spot, park your car, buy tickets, and gather at the scenic spot shuttle bus departure station. The shuttle bus will take you to the starting point of the mountaineering. It takes about an hour to climb to the top of the mountain. It is quite easy. The morning sunshine is suitable for taking pictures. The facilities in the scenic area are very complete. The store has everything. The price is the same as the scenic spot price, which is a little expensive. If you have the physical strength, try to carry it yourself.
It is definitely a good idea to choose to hike in autumn. Although it will be very hot, the temperature will decrease as the altitude increases, and the air quality will also be better. It is still recommended that you go out more often in autumn.
I went there with my friends two years ago. The transportation is not very convenient, so it is best to drive there. But there are still a lot of people, especially on weekends. They line up on the steps and can't go up or down. But the red leaves are more majestic than Xiangshan. It's relatively worth it. The red leaves are mainly formed by the cotinus coggygria.
The ticket price is 30 yuan now, it used to be 10 yuan. It seems that the scenic spot is becoming more and more popular. Due to the maple leaves, an endless stream of guests have learned about Pofengling.
The spring breeze is blowing, the cotinus flowers are blooming, the fireworks are beautiful, and the scenic spot is also very attentive to the details. It is worth a visit
The red leaves in autumn are very beautiful. There are many cars and people.
We went there mainly to see the red leaves. Since it is close to the south of Beijing and we didn't want to see too many people, we chose Pofengling. The weather was good when we went there, and we had a lot of fun. The prices are not expensive. There are many snack shops along the way to the scenic spot. We don't need to bring our own dry food. We can be full with just a few dishes.
Compared with Xiangshan, Pofengling has more red leaves and fewer tourists!
It is the peak season now, the ticket is 30, I started to climb the mountain at noon, most people were almost going down, at this time the leaves began to fall, there are two ways up and down. The way down is 2000 meters longer than the way up, but the road is flat, the scenery is better than the scenery up, and there is also the Eagle's Beak Edge at the top. Now looking down from above, it is really beautiful, it is worth going...
The best place to enjoy autumn in Beijing today is in Fangshan District.
I went there because of its reputation. It was not as good as advertised. The traffic jam was so annoying. The scenic area was crowded with people. Every place with a bit of scenery was surrounded by a group of aunties waving scarves and acting coy. Fortunately, the camera recorded a little bit of color, which was also a relief. Red leaves in dreams, autumn dance in the mist.
I went there last week and uploaded the photos here! The road to the scenic area was very congested and the order was very chaotic!
In recent years, it has become a popular place for viewing red leaves. The red leaves are mainly Cotinus coggygria. The intensity of mountain climbing is not high. If you catch the best viewing period, the dense red leaves are really beautiful. It is recommended to go early by car, first to avoid traffic jams, and second, you must park your car in the farthest 1-2 parking lot, and then take the free shuttle bus to the entrance of the scenic area. Only buses and other large buses have the right to enter the 4-5 parking lot far from the scenic area. During the red leaf viewing period, you must be prepared for 1 hour of traffic jams on both the way there and back (unless you go and return very early). You must go to Yingzui Cliff when climbing, which is suitable for taking pictures up and down. In addition, beggar chicken is 50 yuan per piece, and pressed noodles are 15 yuan per bowl.
I went there today just in time for the Red Leaf Festival, and was stopped 5.6 kilometers away. I could have continued driving forward to the foot of the mountain, where there were many parking spaces, because the free shuttle bus on Saturdays was completely crowded.
Basically, when you look at it from the bottom of the mountain, the whole mountain is covered with red leaves, which is amazing. It is not recommended to climb to the top, as the halfway point is very beautiful. If you reach the top, you cannot take a panoramic view and there are only bare cliffs. There are a lot of people, but it does not affect it, as there are still more red leaves!
First time to Pofengling! I chose the Yuxu Palace route because there were fewer people. Later I found out that it was a bit of a detour to go to Yingzui Rock, and the intersection leading to Yingzui Rock was very small and narrow, easy to miss and difficult to climb. The feeling of Tiyan is very good, climbing up along the winding mountain, very fulfilling
From October 13th to November, the ticket price during the Youlan Mountain Maple Leaf Festival is 30 yuan. There are more people on weekends, but it is still worth going.
A good place to enjoy the red leaves in autumn, it is worth a visit. We went there on October 22nd, and the red leaves on the mountain were not completely red. The higher you go up the mountain, the brighter the colors are. The viewing route is 6 kilometers round trip, rising 300 meters, mainly steps, with occasional gentle slopes. The climbing is not difficult, suitable for enjoying the scenery while walking. However, there are too many people on Saturdays and Sundays. We arrived at 9 o'clock on Saturday morning, and it took more than 10 minutes to queue up to buy tickets. You need to bring your own food, and there are not many places for picnics.
Not many people go to Pofengling, it feels that it is not fully developed and the tourist trails are not fully repaired. The scenery of the back mountain is much better than that of the front mountain.
Pofengling is located in Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District. It has convenient transportation. It is a newly developed tourist attraction in the past two years and a key scenic spot developed by Huangshandian Village. In May, the cotinus coggygria in Pofengling blooms, as beautiful as fireworks. With the blue sky and white clouds and the green all over the mountains, the scenery is refreshing. Pofengling in May is not the peak season. The air in the mountains is fresh, the weather is comfortable, the environment is quiet, and it is far away from the hustle and bustle. But the most beautiful season of Pofengling is autumn. Every autumn, Pofengling will hold a red leaf festival, attracting tourists from all over the world to enjoy the red leaves. If you choose to enjoy the red leaves during holidays, it is recommended to check the route and traffic conditions before departure to avoid traffic jams that affect your mood. At this time, Pofengling will definitely have traffic jams. Personally, I suggest avoiding holidays to enjoy the red leaves. In addition to traffic jams, there are too many tourists in the scenic area and it is difficult to enjoy the scenery well. The altitude of Pofengling is about 600 meters. The mountain road is nearly 7 kilometers up and down the mountain. The highest point is Yingzui Rock. The mountain breeze on the cliff is very comfortable. Yingzui Rock must be climbed. It is strongly recommended that you do not go to Pofengling in July and August. The weather is too hot and there is basically no shade on many hiking trails, which makes it easy to get heat stroke. There are also scenic spots such as Yuxu Palace and Hongluo Sanxian around Pofengling, which are also worth visiting.
Luojia Villa, Luojia Villa is located in Yesanpo, a national AAAAA-level scenic spot. It operates hotel accommodation, serviced apartments, catering, KTV, high-, medium- and low-end hotel rooms, single-family villas, cliff villas, townhouses, daily rental, short-term rental and long-term rental are all available. Special Chinese food, ox head banquet, roasted whole lamb, iron pot stewed whole lamb, rainbow trout, wild vegetables. It can hold company annual meetings, trade fairs, business negotiations, etc. Get off the G5 Expressway (Beijing-Shijiazhuang Second Expressway) at Yesanpo and Duya exits, and drive one kilometer along the road in the direction of Yesanpo. Customer service: 03124561557, WeChat public account: "Yesanpo Yeshao"
Pofengling is located in Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan. It takes about one and a half hours to drive there for 70 kilometers. The ticket for the scenic spot is 15 yuan, and the half-price ticket is 8 yuan. There is a 6-kilometer hiking trail in the scenic area, which can go to Yingzui Rock and then go down the mountain. The up and down mountain roads are separated. The intensity of climbing in the scenic area is not high. There will be a flat road to rest after climbing for a while. The downhill road is easier to walk than the uphill road. Pofengling is full of red mountains, better than Xiangshan. It is really a good place to enjoy red leaves. The best time to enjoy red leaves is from the end of October to the beginning of November. It is now quite popular. It is recommended to set off at 7 o'clock to avoid the peak. In addition, there is also the Hongluo Sanxian Scenic Area in the scenic area, leading to Yuxu Palace. It is said that the mountain road is very dangerous, but the scenery of red leaves is average, so there is no need to go to Hongluo Sanxian to enjoy red leaves. If you want to find out, you can try it.
Nice maple leaves. If you go there from mid-October to November, the leaves will be more beautiful!
The red leaves all over the mountain have turned the whole mountain red. I come here to see the red leaves every year. This year, there are obviously more tourists and it is a bit crowded.
The scenery is nice, but it was cloudy when I went there, and there was a lot of smog and people.
Pofengling, a red leaf resort that seemed unknown a few years ago, is located in Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing. Since 2009, a 6,000-meter mountain trail has been built in Pofengling. All materials are local rocks, and sand and cement are carried up the mountain by manpower. It can be said that it took a lot of hard work to build this road today.
Pofengling is about 500 meters above sea level, with a drop of 370 meters. The total area of the red leaf sightseeing area is about 2,000 mu. The up and down mountain trails are gently sloping, and there are pavilions for tourists to rest every 1,000 meters. Pofengling is a good place to see red leaves, but there are too many people on weekends.
Pofengling starts from a barren mountain, where red-leaf trees such as Cotinus coggygria are widely planted. The trees are relatively young, and the circular mountain-viewing road is more than 6 kilometers long, with winding stone steps and red leaves everywhere.
We went there with the "Wilderness Outdoor Team". Personally, I think if we only talk about red leaves, the leaves here are the reddest and most authentic, but the area is not very large.
The scenery is very good and the management is relatively complete. There are many guides in the parking lot, and you need to pay a parking fee of 5 yuan. It's just that the lunch meal is a bit worse, the quantity is not large, the taste is average, and the price is a bit expensive.

The scenery during the Red Leaf Festival is really nice, but the traffic is very serious. There are three parking lots along the way, with traffic police diversion and free shuttle buses. It took 4 hours to go back and forth with the children. The road is not steep and the intensity is not high.
Very good, it feels much better than Xiangshan, and the ticket price is also cheap, only 15, great value!
Pofengling is located in Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, 60 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. Pofengling started from a barren mountain and first built a 6,000-meter mountain road. It is said that all the paving stones were made of local stones, and the sand and cement were completely carried up the mountain by manpower, which can be said to have gone through untold hardships.
The transportation to the scenic area is very good. Take the Beijing-Kunming Link Line from the West Sixth Ring Road and exit at Zhoukoudian or Fangyi Road. If you exit at Zhoukoudian, the highway distance is short and there is some congestion when passing through Zhoukoudian. If you exit at Fangyi Road, the highway distance is long and there is about 1 kilometer of road repair after the exit, which is not very convenient, but it is only 5 kilometers from the exit to the scenic area. If the road is repaired, it should be the fastest option.
The parking lot at the entrance of the scenic spot is not big. If you come on weekends, you must arrive before 7 o'clock, otherwise you can only park in the large parking lot outside the scenic spot and then take the free bus to the scenic spot. The bus is gone at 5:30 in the evening. If you want to take pictures of the sunset, you can only walk out. The scenic spot bus staff are very responsible, and there are volunteers to maintain order. It's just that the quality of the private car drivers is too poor. The double lanes of one up and one down have become two ups and no downs, and finally the cars going down the mountain are blocked.
I won’t talk about the scenery, let’s just look at the pictures.
I just went there yesterday, which was October 31st. It was almost completely red and there were a lot of people.
The scenery is very good, much better than Xiangshan. The ticket is also cheap.
The overall itinerary of the company's autumn outing this year was great! It was just that we left a little late and the time we had here was effective. It would have been better if we could have stayed a little longer.
The team drove here on Monday. There was no traffic jam on the road. After arriving at the scenic spot, we were told that the parking spaces in front of the scenic spot were full and we had to park at the foot of the mountain and take the free shuttle bus. It rained the night before, and it was a bit cold to take the shuttle bus in the morning.
The scenic area is well planned and designed. There is a farmhouse-style restaurant as soon as you enter the mountain, which can accommodate many people. There are also several swings that can really satisfy the childlike innocence and the need for taking photos.
The mountain road is 6 kilometers long in total. It is said that it was all transported up by hand. The scenery along the way is very beautiful. The forests are dyed with various colors. Every picture I took is a beautiful photo. I happened to meet a school for an autumn outing. There was also a group of uncles and aunts. Sometimes the mountain road was too hard to walk, and they were all taking pictures of maple leaves.
We climbed to about 1,500 meters in time. It started to rain when we were going down the mountain. Fortunately, there were clear signs for the scenic area down the mountain.
The scenery is pleasant, the leaves are in season, the ticket price is cheap, and the air is fresh.
In the past two years, Pofengling has emerged as a dark horse in the "red leaf world" in Beijing, and has shown a tendency to surpass Xiangshan's dominant position. I have to say that the cotinus coggygria in Pofengling is indeed eye-catching, and the stone houses in the scenic area make it difficult for me to walk. The tranquility of the stone houses in the Cangshan Mountains is indeed attractive. It's just that the red leaves have become popular, and the number of people going there has also increased.
The red leaves at Pofengling seem to be redder than those at Xiangshan. There are basically places to park cars and there are fewer people than at Xiangshan. The hawthorn trees and persimmon trees along the way are also not seen in Xiangshan. The mountain road on the left is very flat, with tables and chairs on the roadside. The red leaves are very large, while the mountain road on the right is rugged and steep. Each has its own fun. Whether you want to see the red leaves or just climb the mountains, it's worth a trip.
The red leaf index of Pofengling is almost as high as that of Xiangshan Mountain. The scenery of the mountain covered with cotinus coggygria far exceeds that of Xiangshan Mountain. The key is that there are fewer people than red leaves.
I went with the Xianzong Outdoor Club on Saturday, October 25, 2014. There were a lot of people. When we first went up the mountain, there were a lot of people taking pictures so the climb was very slow. I'm afraid that the number of people would decrease significantly as we went up. The scenery is definitely amazing. It's like an oil painting. The weather was not very good that day, but it was still beautiful.
Go to Pofengling in Huangshandian, Fangshan to admire the red leaves. In recent years, it has become a must for travel enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts to go to Pofengling in autumn to admire the red leaves.
A place where you can see red leaves - Pofengling, with a ticket price of 15 yuan, is more cost-effective and worth recommending!
The red leaves all over the mountains in Beijing in autumn are intoxicating. The so-called "Top Ten Red Leaves Route" such as Xiangshan, Mutianyu, Simatai, Hongluo Temple, etc. are a thing of the past. There are more people than autumn leaves! The most popular red leaves in Beijing today are in Youlan Mountain! It is located in Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, 60km away from the city. The red leaves here are the reddest, most extensive, most wild, and most original. It is a shy virgin land!
Pofengling is located in Huangshandian Village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, adjacent to Baojinshan Yuxu Palace and Shangfangshan. There are large areas of cotinus coggygria planted here. In autumn, the whole mountain is covered with red leaves, and the scenery is very charming, comparable to Xiangshan. Climb up the Qiufeng Pavilion to see the beautiful scenery below the mountain. The best viewing season is autumn, you can come here for a picnic and photography!
