By Summer does not melt |

😂I used to be confused about whether Furong River and Furong Cave were the same place, but you can overlook Furong River from Furong Cave. If you don’t want to go rafting or ziplining, you can just go to Furong Cave.

🚘It takes about 20 minutes to drive from Wulong to Furong Cave. The scenery along the way is also very good. The tour time of Furong Cave is about 1 hour. The various stalactites inside are particularly beautiful under the light. You need to take a cable car from the ticket office to the scenic area, which takes about 15 minutes.

From the cable car, you can overlook the Furong River. The river is emerald green, like a long jade belt. 📷Photos are more artistic, and the view from afar is also beautiful👀. At this time, just quietly empty yourself. Furong Cave and Furong River are gifts from nature, full of magnificence and magic. 👍

After getting off at Wulong Bus Station, take the bus from Wulong to Jiangkou 🚌, which costs 4 yuan per person. It takes about an hour to get to the bus terminal, where there is a shuttle bus to Furong Cave, which costs 10 yuan per person round trip. It takes only a few minutes to get to the entrance of Furong Cave.

❗Off-season tickets to Furong Cave cost 65 yuan per person, and the round-trip cable car costs 50 yuan per person. If you don't take the cable car, it's more than 3 kilometers to walk to the cave entrance. Taking the cable car up the mountain gives you a beautiful view of the Furong River.

The color of the Furong River is very unique, a color between emerald and peacock blue. 😄 There weren't many tourists, just one or two here and there. It took about an hour to complete the tour while taking photos.

A tip: If you have a favorite attraction you'd like to visit, be sure to call ahead to check if it's operating normally. The glass viewing platform freezes over in winter and is temporarily closed. The Furong River and the zipline across the river at the Furong Cave scenic area are also closed.

⌚I had exactly three days to take another road trip. The time was just right, but the drive was a bit long. However, the scenery was still beautiful🏞.

It takes about an hour to drive from Xiannvshan Town to Furong Cave. 🚗 We arrived earlier than the staff and waited quietly at the ticket office to buy our tickets. Furong Cave now has a cable car, which takes you from the visitor center to the cave. The cable car, built along the Furong River, takes you from the entrance to the scenic area to Furong Cave. 🚡 From the cable car, you can overlook the Furong River. 👀

🚡The cable car slowly moves along the riverside. It's perfect to overlook the Furong River from the cable car. The green river water is hazy and dreamy on a rainy day. Every season has a different beauty. 😍

By Let love come closer |

I can't praise the Furong River enough! Lush green mountains and clear water! The river is crystal clear! It's totally worth it! Highly recommended! The boat ride to the Furong River is an additional fee. Sitting quietly on the boat, I was mesmerized by the stunning scenery. There's also the Furong River speed skating, which costs 80 yuan per person and is quite thrilling. You glide from one side of the river to the other and back again.

By Calligraphy and plum blossom fragrance |

I think even though it is an AAAAA scenic spot, the tickets and sightseeing buses are too expensive. I strongly recommend that you don't take the sightseeing bus.

By Forgetful |

There is a different world in Furong Cave, but it is a little smaller.

By Dorothy Liu |

The ticket for Furong Cave + the round-trip cable car seems to be 135 yuan per person. The cable car ride is quite enjoyable. The Furong River is next to it and the scenery is beautiful.

By Bai Xubo |

It's right near Furong Cave, and it's actually a reservoir. I stumbled upon this place when I went to Furong Cave that year. Since my schedule wasn't very tight, and I arrived before May Day, there weren't many tourists around, so I went down to play in the water for a while. I had this whole landscape almost to myself, which was a real pleasure.

We arrived at the Furong River Scenic Area Visitor Center just as lunchtime arrived, leaving our family as "lonely" tourists once again... A side note: There are two routes from Fairy Mountain to Jiangkou Town: the provincial highway, which is shorter and more travel time, and the highway, which is longer and less travel time. We originally wanted to take the provincial highway, but the nifty navigation system steered us onto the highway. The elderly complained all the way, but when we got off the highway and headed back to Jiangkou Town along the Wujiang River, we were stunned by the stunning scenery... The above is my itinerary, for reference only. The road leading up to the scenic area is closed due to rockfall, and access is only by cable car. Unfortunately, I have a slight fear of heights, so I haven't taken any pictures yet. Those who are not afraid will probably be thrilled. After reaching the top, we visited Furong Cave... A three-person cave trip is really daunting... Just when I was about to get nervous, my mom said, "There are no people here. We can win by playing mahjong for a couple of rounds and then leaving." My mom commented on the town's treasure cave: "All caves are the same, full of stalactites and stalagmites. Those names are just lighting effects and people's imagination." The stalactites and stalagmites in this cave are not very smooth, but they are large in scale, especially the white "giant curtain", which is rare to see! Dad's comment: Uphill and downhill, uphill and downhill... I was completely exhausted, but it was worth the price of admission!

By Simple_Happy |

There are mountains like this everywhere, shrouded in mist, like a fairyland. Could there be immortals living there?

By qingfeng |

This cable car was truly thrilling, especially since my friend was so light that he was almost blown to the ground in the middle of the river.

By Tarquinia |

The scenery of Furong River is okay. The water is very green. There is nothing to see in Furong Cave. You can go boating on the river in summer.

By Monica |

It's very beautiful, but it's a pity that the cable car was under maintenance and I couldn't take the cable car to see the river view

By Let me take a look |

No beautiful views, only precautions. The zip line is suspended, the boat tour is suspended, and only the cave is left. The trail is still accessible, but please ignore the following notice.

By Leo |

Although I knew Wulong was famous, I didn't include it on my itinerary because I only had four days in Chongqing. Instead, my family in Chongqing arranged a stop in Wulong, which was a pleasant surprise. We landed the night before and drove straight to Wulong the next morning. Furong River was our first stop. Seeing it reminded me of a description I'd read the night before: "The waters of Furong River are more beautiful than Jiuzhaigou, and the scenery is as beautiful as that of Daning River." I think that pretty much sums up Furong River.

By The Call of the Wolf |

Furong River is picturesque and a pleasant place. It is worth taking a boat cruise on it!

By Ye Lang |

Compared with the Huanglong Cave in Zhangjiajie, the Furong Cave in Wulong seems to be much inferior, but as a geological wonder, you can still go and see it, learn some geological knowledge, and gaining knowledge during the trip is also a travel experience!

By Angry Horse |

It's very beautiful, the river water is emerald green. No tickets are required, there is a viewing platform on the way from Wulong to Furong Cave. It feels more worthwhile than going to Furong Cave 😓

By Crimson Rose |

Green water and green mountains make people feel relaxed and happy. I haven't seen such green water for a long time.

By Forget life |

Furong River is a last-minute trip, suitable for tourists who are not in a hurry. The round trip by boat takes 80 minutes. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. Sitting on the boat, feeling the river breeze quietly and looking at the scenery on both sides of the river makes people feel relaxed.

By yoyo |

The boat sailed on the river, and the people were swimming in a painting. It was completely beyond my expectations. It was so beautiful. I took the train from Chongqing a little after 9:00 am and arrived around 12:00. I got off the train and had a good meal on the main road before checking into the hotel. I packed light and took the bus (18 round trips). After buying tickets for Furong Cave and Furong River, I went on a river cruise. There was still time, and the driver would wait for the return trip. On the boat, I went to the second floor to grab a spot at the bow before the boat started, otherwise there would be no place to take photos. The scenery was amazing, far better than the Chongqing 180 night cruise on the two rivers.

By If only as we first met |

There is a river beside Furong Cave. There are green mountains on both sides of the river. I don’t know if it is the reflection of the mountains, but the river water is also dark green. The scenic area has opened the project of speed skating across the river, but I am timid and did not dare to try it.

By Yi Yizi |

The scenery is just average. The ticket for the river tour and the cable car costs 120 per person. I don't think it's necessary to spend this money. If you don't want to have any regrets, then go for it.

By Xiao Haohao |

If the Three Gorges are spectacular, then the Furong River is exquisite. The tributaries of the Wujiang River are even more exquisitely green and charming than the Wujiang River itself. Speed skating across the river is also thrilling. The most unexpected surprise of my visit to Wulong!

By chunchun_lee1107 |

The water of Furong River is emerald green, like a green ribbon.

By Stuff, stuff, stuff. ❀ |

The scenery of Furong River is very good. The air is very good and I like it very much.

By Zi Lingyan |

Furong River is just below Furong Cave. We took the cable car down. The ticket was also 120 yuan, which was included in the ticket. Furong River is a cruise ship, which lasts 60 minutes. The river water is very green, and it is worth a visit.

By Lucas. Pan |

If you still want to go to Furong River, you can buy a ticket at Furong Cave for 120 (no discount for student ID). It includes round-trip cable car, tickets and boat. It feels pretty good. We didn't go because of the rain. It looks good. You can try it if you have the chance.

By Story 36 |

If you have more time, you can stop by and take a look. If you are brave enough, you can try speed skating.

You can see the Furong River in the scenic area. Passengers who want to visit the Furong River can take a boat to watch it, and the ticket price is 120 yuan.

By Mo Xiaoyan |

Furong Cave (a 5A scenic spot) is a large limestone cavern with a stable temperature of 16.1 degrees Celsius deep within. It's warm in the winter and cool in the summer, but it's quite humid. Known as one of the "three greatest caves in the world," Furong Cave's vibrant, multicolored light creates a bizarre, almost ethereal glow.

By This person is alone and sad baby |

The scenery is pretty good. It merges into the Wujiang River. There is a zipline to cross the river, which requires some courage to participate.

By Top Bunny |

As a tributary of the Wujiang River, the Furong River boasts an even greener, more intoxicating green, and its banks are even more secluded, more charming!

By As light as water |

In the Gaoxia Pinghu Scenic Area in Wulong, Chongqing, the river water is emerald green and blue, the strong tree roots on both sides are in various shapes, water birds are flying, stalactites are hanging, springs and waterfalls are flowing, and green shadows are swaying. This is the most beautiful scenery of Furong River.

By lion |

It was drizzling that day. The river was very foggy. I quickly took two photos. Then... nothing happened. Because it was completely white. I could only vaguely see a patch of green on the river.

By Don't say you know a lot of me |

The rippling blue waters bring a wave of emotions. Is this a landscape painting? The water is as dark as ink, the view is expansive, and my mood brightens accordingly.

By Pond fish |

The Furong River Scenic Area is mainly divided into Furong Cave and Furong River. Tickets for the two places are sold separately, each costing 120 yuan. Those who want to go can consider purchasing them together. Then there is a speed skate across the river, which is a very exciting experience. You need to buy a separate ticket. Those who like excitement can try it. It was very foggy on the day we went, so there are very few photos. I hope everyone will have time to go and see it for themselves. It is worth mentioning that there is no direct bus from Wulong County to the Furong River Scenic Area. You can only take a bus to the river mouth, then take a private car to the mountain, and then transfer to a free tourist transfer bus. I heard that the parking lot is occupied by the cable car construction on the mountain. Those who drive by themselves should be aware of this.

By troubadour |

It's really beautiful here. The cable car across the river feels very exciting, but I didn't dare to take it. When you sit on the boat, butterflies will come to you, and there are freshly fried wild fish from Furong River. The air quality is super good!

By Hidden Bamboo Hero |

Just for the clear water, it is worth a visit. There is also Furong Cave next to it, which is a very nice cave.

By Forest Trail |

The river water is blocked by a power station. It is mainly used for boating, but it is closed after 3:30 pm. There is also a speed skating across the river, which is more exciting. It costs 80 yuan per person and looks more exciting.

By Dream Jane |

We made a difficult decision - to go speed skating across the river!

I asked various ticket sellers, but none of them said it was scary. I mustered up the courage and went to buy the ticket despite being so scared that my legs were weak.

None of us regretted riding this speed skate. The moment we were pushed out, we felt like we were going to die. But halfway through, you see the tranquil Furong River below you, the lush green mountains in front and behind you. That feeling of flying is unforgettable. You have to keep your arms open while skating; that's how you feel. The feeling of being moved by yourself is indescribable; you can only truly understand the thrill by experiencing it yourself.

Speed skating is 80 yuan per person, and the Furong River cruise is 120 yuan per person (including the cable car fee). There are no student tickets for either of these two activities, so they are quite expensive, but they are definitely worth the experience.

The cruise started at 2:00 PM. The entire tour lasted about an hour and 20 minutes. Be sure to go to the second deck to enjoy the scenery; there's a breeze and it's not too hot. The cruise staff will also take photos for free, but of course, you'll need to pay to have them developed. Here's a tip: if you have good photos, you should definitely develop them. Don't be like us, who, thinking we took a lot of photos, didn't develop them to save money. That left us with regrets. Here are the photos we didn't develop. (I regretted it so much back then!)

By chylcsh |

We first went to swim in Furong River, because the scenic area requires 80 people to sail a boat, and there are more tour groups in the morning, so it is easier to gather people. So it is best to swim in the river first and then enter the cave. Otherwise, when you come out of Furong Cave, there may be no one to accompany you to swim in the river...

Green mountains and clear waters, the scenery is infinitely beautiful...

It took more than an hour to cruise on the river. I personally think the scenery on the river is quite good. You should go and see it if you go there!

By Tibetan Mastiff Xiaobai |

Furong River is the largest tributary of the Wu River, and a boat trip around it is a feast for the eyes, but the highlight is definitely Furong Cave.

By lotus |

It was the first time I saw this color of river water. It was so beautiful! This is Furong River, the largest tributary of Wujiang River.

By Walking black panda |

From my personal feeling after visiting the Three Gorges, the scenery of Furong River is more beautiful than the Three Gorges, so I think the ticket is quite worth it.

By stevedom |

The Furong River is emerald green, and the green mountains on both sides add to its beauty. You can take a boat ride and even take the cable car across the river for a thrilling ride.

By Scattered Dust-Zeepeng |

The Furong River Scenic Area is located in the Gaoxia Pinghu Scenic Area in Wulong, Chongqing. The river water is emerald green and blue, with vigorous tree roots on both sides in various shapes and colors, and water birds flying.

By Star Picker |

Coming out of the cave, the Furong River is right outside. You can overlook the emerald green water. The mountains are shrouded in mist, a truly breathtaking sight. My friend and I stood on the top of the mountain, breathing in the fresh air and taking selfies. What narcissistic people we are! Haha

By Mi Xiaozhou loves traveling |

Below Furong Cave is Furong River. It was cloudy, so I didn’t go down to row a boat. I just looked at it from a distance.

By Sleeping happily |

As soon as I got off the bus, I saw the unreal green Furong River flowing quietly beneath my feet, like a turquoise silk thread winding around the foot of the mountain, stretching out into the distance. Because it was already 3 p.m., and I had to go to Furong Cave, I didn't take a boat ride on the river. It was a real shame that I didn't get to experience the pleasure of sailing through a painting. (The boat ticket wasn't cheap either, costing 100 yuan.)

By Azaniu |

The banks of Furong River are covered with lush vegetation and the air is clean. There are mountains in the water and scenery in the mountains, just like walking in a painting. The most unforgettable thing is the fishermen in the river. They converted their fishing boats into houseboats and lived in the river for years. They are the most beautiful scenery of Furong River.

By Qiuqiu Xiaocaicai |

Step by step, the stone steps, the dense shade of trees on both sides of the mountain road. I have to say, Forest Chongqing. This is really the real deal.

By Twins in the Wind |

Furong River, the largest tributary of the Wu River, gazed down from above, resembles a piece of pure, beautiful jade. On a scorching summer day, such a view offers a refreshing breath of fresh air. Furong Cave itself is even cooler, completely shielded from the scorching heat outside. Walking along the slightly slippery path, the lights gradually brightened, and suddenly, a vast underground palace beyond imagination appeared before my eyes.

By Su Xiaohe |

The Furong River is surrounded by lush greenery, and the karst wonder of Furong Cave, a World Heritage Site, adds to the beauty of this idyllic paradise. The Miao people, who have lived on both sides of the river for generations, enjoy a simple and isolated lifestyle, evoking a sense of purity long lost and inspiring profound reflection.
