The first national forest park in Fujian Province and one of the top ten forest parks in China, its predecessor was the Fuzhou Arboretum.
There are many precious tree species from home and abroad in the park. The big banyan tree has grown for thousands of years and is very spectacular.
It is divided into five parts: forest area, nursery, greenhouse, specialized garden and rest area. It is a good place for Fuzhou people to have fun and relax on weekends and holidays.

The ticket is free, and you can take the electric car at the door. It costs 10 yuan per person for a one-way trip. You really have to take it, otherwise your legs will break. You have to get off at the cherry blossom forest.
It's too big for children to walk. You can't go into the scenic spots inside. Friends who have time can also come for barbecue. There is a barbecue garden here. I spent another 10 yuan per person to take the battery car to the exit.
Fuzhou National Forest Park is next to Fuzhou Zoo and Children's Park. The park is free and the East Gate is the main entrance, so it is recommended to enter from the South Gate instead. The ancient banyan tree at the Banyan Shade Fish Viewing Scenic Spot in the park is the first must-see spot, and then walk slowly northward to Zhengxin Temple, Crape Myrtle Garden, Cherry Blossom Garden, and Longtan. In spring, this road is full of towering ancient trees and colorful flowers, making it a good place to relax.
The main reason is to see the thousand-year-old banyan tree. It looks like the coconut trees in Hainan. The trunk is smooth. I asked the locals and they said it was a eucalyptus tree. I met you at the corner. The banyan tree is very close to the south gate of the park. You can walk a short distance after entering the gate and turn a corner to get there. There are map signs on the roadside, which are very clear. The banyan tree is really big, with a round crown, which is very beautiful, but it is not too lush in this season. You are not allowed to touch the trunk of the panorama, and I didn’t touch it! I walked around and stayed there for a long time. I really like this tree! There is a pond next to the tree, with many fish in it. I remembered the fish I saw on Harbin Sun Island in the summer of the year before last. People with intensive phobia should be careful. Walk through this grove and take a look at the distant view of the banyan tree. It looks more beautiful from this angle. After visiting the cherry blossom garden, walk up the main road to the banyan tree. You will pass by the peach garden, crape myrtle garden, plum garden, etc.
The National Forest Park is located at the foot of Beifeng, where a king banyan tree covers an area of one square kilometer.
It is not a good scenic spot. Although it is free and has many tropical plants, its only paid attraction and the only museum are closed.
Worth a visit. I've been there several times. I also saw a bougainvillea exhibition. One of the top ten forest parks in the country. Suitable for a picnic with a few friends.
I went there during the National Day in 2018. It's a great place, a natural forest oxygen bar, and cool. The only drawback is why the museum tour is not open.
The park is very large and is recommended to visit during the flower season. In Fuzhou, it is the cherry blossom and peach blossom season after the Spring Festival.
During my four years in college, I can’t remember how many times I have been here, although it is still a bit far from the university town.
On weekends or short holidays, you can invite a few good friends and your partner to take a walk, enjoy the fresh air here, find a cherry tree, lay a moisture-proof mat on the grass, and have some snacks and playing cards. It's great.
There is a Bayi Reservoir in the park. It is probably the dry season, the water level is very low, and the exposed lake bottom is rather dirty. We walked slowly along the north bank of the reservoir. Fish watching under the banyan tree is a good attraction in the park. There is a big banyan tree. There are many ornamental fish in the pool near the banyan tree, and many tourists gather.
The air in Fuzhou Forest Park is very good! There are many hiking routes for you to exercise and you can enjoy the forest scenery from the top. It is close to the Bayi Reservoir and there are plank roads around it. There are Bayi Park, Zoo, Children's Park, Douding Park and other parks nearby. It is very convenient to play.
Free attractions, three roads, one for climbing, one for basic flat land, and one for ancient roads. Perfect place
The banyan tree is very beautiful and the weather is very good.
One of the must-visit places in Fuzhou. Unfortunately, I went there in March, and the winter has not faded yet, so those colorful flowers have not bloomed yet. If it is summer or autumn, it should be beautiful. Even so, my friends and I still found a good place to take pictures. If you play slowly, you can also play for a day. You need to bring your own dry food at noon, or go after lunch. The distance from the city to the scenic spot is about 1 hour by bus. For the return trip, there is a bus at the door. It will return to the city at about 5:30 to 6:30 in the afternoon. Ask the driver when you come for the specific time. The operating hours may be different in winter and summer. There is a big banyan tree in the park, which is the tree of the town garden. There is also a small zoo. There are not many animals and a military camp, but the air inside is really good. If you go there in summer, it is a good place to cool off. Of course, for photography enthusiasts, it is a matter of minutes to take some good pictures by using the mottled shadows of the trees. For clothing matching, light colors, florals, and skirts are recommended.
It is amazing how parks can truly blend into nature.
It is suitable for local residents to relax and breathe oxygen during holidays, but it is nothing special for tourists. Children have fun playing on the slide car, but their clothes get quite dirty.
As soon as you enter the park, you will see two rows of towering trees on the roadside. Among the roadside trees, there are many trees called "Mealela" that have never been seen elsewhere. The name of the tree is not like a scientific name, but more like a nickname. There is a sign on the tree that says "My skin is very thin, don't touch it." There are also some red-flowered Bauhinia, which is the bauhinia in Hong Kong. The flowering period is coming to an end, and only a few flowers are still on the branches. Walking along the tree-lined avenue, stopping and enjoying the pure air in the forest known as the "green lung of Fuzhou", suddenly a downhill turn, on the flat field covered with fragrant grass, peach blossoms are blooming one by one. In the distance, the green mountains are like dark blue, and the flowers in the near distance are more beautiful than red. There is a banyan tree in the forest park that is said to be born in the Song Dynasty and is already a thousand years old. A single tree forms a forest, lush and vigorous. Sit in the woods on a quiet afternoon. The surroundings are lush and green, and the breeze is gentle.
A trip to Nanri Island in Putian City
〈Wei Wenlong〉
Telephone and WeChat: 136 0751 0715
Service scope: Putian → Nanri Island, all small, medium and large groups are picked up, as well as sea fishing and uninhabited island tours.
Because of professionalism,
You can enjoy high-quality services designed for tourists and warmly welcome tourists from all over the world!
The park has bamboo viewing gardens, tree viewing areas, cultural landscape areas, Longtan scenic areas, forest museums, bird forests, rare plant gardens, etc. Cherry blossoms bloom around the Spring Festival every year and peach blossoms bloom in spring. The forest releases a large amount of oxygen and negative oxygen ions, giving you a "forest bath" experience, and is a natural oxygen bar.
It's just so-so. Due to the influence of Typhoon Meranti, it seems that the scenery above has been affected. I didn't climb to the top, and I feel that this attraction is a bit tasteless! However, there are plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and peach blossoms on it. I wonder if it will be more beautiful when it blooms!
The air is very good! I didn't go to the innermost waterfall because there is no water in winter and it will affect the view. I went there in February, and the peach and cherry blossoms were in bloom, as well as some unknown flowers. I like the thousand-year-old banyan tree the most. I hope this big tree can be protected for a long time so that more people can see it.
Fuzhou National Forest Park is located at the foot of the mountains in the northern suburbs of Fuzhou. It was built in 1960 and is the location of the Fuzhou Botanical Garden. The forest park covers a large area and has few cultural landscapes. What is more distinctive is that there are tropical plants such as palms, banyan trees, Davidia involucrata, and Alsophila spinulosa, which are not found in most parts of the country. Moreover, Fuzhou still has flowers to see on New Year's Day, a place where most places in China are bleak. One thing that surprised me was that the water in the Bayi Reservoir in the park was almost dry and the river was almost dry. In my impression, Fujian should be a place with much more precipitation than Anhui. The amount of water is as small as the winter in northern China. The facilities in the park are relatively old, and there seems to be no historical and cultural landscapes, intangible cultural heritage, or antique transportation. The only temple I saw was neither beautiful nor ancient. There are still many residents living in the park. Some areas are designated as research bases for botanists, and some areas are military restricted areas. It is indeed not a good time to come here in winter because the park lacks water. Many landscapes can only be seen in spring, summer and autumn. The only thing I think is worth seeing is the thousand-year-old banyan tree here, which is the oldest and largest banyan tree in China. Since Zhang Boyu, the governor of Fuzhou in the Northern Song Dynasty, organized the city to plant banyan trees, Fuzhou has been known as the city of banyans. The banyan tree is the city tree of Fuzhou. There is a pond next to the thousand-year-old banyan tree king, with a water pavilion and koi. But the fountain and wire net in the middle of the pond are very unsightly. Fuzhou has a high forest coverage rate, and the mountains block the pollutants from the north, so the air is much better than Hefei. Because there were few wars in history and the climatic conditions were good, there are many ancient trees and famous trees here, and the trees are tall, thick and lush. However, the waterscape and cultural landscape of this park are not as good as those of Hefei Binhu Wetland Forest Park. There is no bicycle rental in the park, only battery cars. Except for the bird forest, most of the attractions are open to the public free of charge. There are not many birds in the park. You can take bus 102 or 19 from Fuzhou East Street to Yuanmai Hot Spring Station and transfer to bus 54 to the east gate of the park. It only costs more than 30 yuan to take a taxi from the west gate of Fujian Provincial Museum.
Best feature: Free
Forest Type: Many
Millennium Banyan Tree: Large, Green
Park environment: quiet
The most distinctive feature is the thousand-year-old banyan tree in the scenic area.
There is a zoo in the forest park, an old banyan tree, a pond of big carp under the banyan tree, a peach blossom forest, a dragon pond in the mountains, and if you go further in, there is also the ancient Zhuangyuan Road.
A free attraction in the suburbs, a good place for barbecue and hiking
Fuzhou National Forest Park is the park next to my home. It takes 45 minutes to walk from my residential area to the south gate of the park. There are bamboo viewing gardens, tree viewing areas, cultural landscape areas, Longtan Scenic Area, Forest Museum, Birds Singing Forest, Rare Botanical Garden, etc. in the park. The cherry blossoms blooming around the Spring Festival and the peach blossoms in spring always attract a large number of tourists to enjoy the flowers. The good environment, the forest releases a lot of oxygen and negative oxygen ions, and attracts many citizens to experience the "forest bathing". It is known as "the largest natural oxygen bar in Fuzhou City."
I went there in September. There were very few people. It was a very primitive forest. It was easy to get lost. Hiking enthusiasts would definitely like it.
During the Chinese New Year (February 2016), I was aimlessly wandering around but unexpectedly encountered cherry blossoms in full bloom. They were enchanting and dense. I was even more surprised to see emerald birds sucking nectar. I lingered and admired them and couldn't bear to leave. In the park, you can continue to climb towards the Dalongtan Waterfall. The road is quiet, full of lush greenery and gurgling springs. On the way back, there were many local cherry blossom tourists, and the bus was jammed. The waiting time was relatively long. It was inevitable to scramble and crowd when getting on the bus. I hope it can be improved in the future.
Since it is called Forest Park, the biggest highlight is naturally seeing the forest.
In nature, different seasons offer different landscapes. The different seasons and the different mornings and evenings are the biggest attractions of the forest.
Many tourists from other places do not understand that after coming to the forest park, they just walk around the park, take a look at the Banyan Tree King and the Birds Singing Forest, and then go back. In fact, for the entire forest park, that is just the main entrance. There are large tracts of forests behind. If you don't walk in the forest, does it count as having been to the forest park?
As a resident who lives nearby, I recommend a few different routes.
Watching flowers in spring. Cherry blossoms in February and March, peach blossoms in March and April, and cherries turn red at the end of April are also fun. Just take a bus to the cherry blossom garden and peach garden. In spring, the water is dry and the mountain roads are slippery, so hiking is not recommended.
Enjoy the water in summer. There is a stream in the forest park that flows into the Bayi Reservoir. There are many egrets in summer, and bird watching and fishing are also very interesting. Going up the stream, there is Longtan Waterfall, which is also a very good place to escape the summer heat. The recommended route is to take a sightseeing bus to Longtanjiao, go up the mountain along the Longtan location, and then go down the mountain from Songgu Post Road.
Enjoy the mountains in autumn. The mountains in Fujian Province are generally evergreen all year round. The forest park has a wide variety of tree species, including some deciduous trees, which are green and yellow, making it unique. Hiking in the cool autumn weather is a unique experience. It is recommended to take a sightseeing bus to the fire station, take the Songgu Post Road on Zhuangyuan Road, and exit from Longtan.
Enjoy the sunshine in winter. In fact, the winter in Fuzhou is not very cold, and the forest park is a very good place to enjoy the sunshine at this time. There is a winding wooden plank road starting from the Bayi Reservoir. After that, you can cross the bridge to the left side of the stream when you reach Taohuayuan. There is also a very deep plank road. The road is not as steep as the post road, but you can walk deep into the mountains and forests, which is very suitable for winter travel.
In general, the forest park is mainly suitable for local residents of Fuzhou. Foreign tourists are suitable to spend a whole day climbing the mountains. If you just rush to see the attractions, you won’t find it very interesting. But if you are from the north and want to clean your lungs and see the blue sky and white clouds, you will think it is good.
In addition, for friends who come here for the first time, it is recommended to take the battery car directly from the East Gate to Longtan for a stroll and then walk back. If you have enough time, you can climb the mountain from Longtan. Finally, friends who want to climb the mountain should remember to bring dry food and coats and keep warm.
This banyan tree is a fine-leaved banyan tree without aerial roots. It has a canopy of 1,330 square meters and can accommodate thousands of people. It is nearly a thousand years old and is said to have been planted by Zhang Boyu, the prefect of the Northern Song Dynasty. However, it is said that the prefect planted two saplings at the time. Over time, they became entangled and could no longer be distinguished from each other. PS The only trace that can distinguish the two banyan trees is the crown of the north and south halves, which shed their leaves every other year, which is also a wonder.
When the weather is hot, this place is very suitable for summer vacation. There are many kinds of plants, and you can occasionally see small wild animals!
There are all kinds of strange trees, and there are a lot of people on weekends
Small bridges, lakes, tree-lined paths, coconut corridors, ancient banyan trees, cold plum blossoms. Bamboo paths lead to secluded places, ancient roads lead to cold mountains.
Just wander around and breathe some fresh air. Found the big banyan tree, but for some reason it didn't have a beard, so I checked with the locals. Unfortunately, the rare plant garden is not open to the public.
Summary: Not worth crossing provinces.
Fuzhou National Forest Park is the first national forest park in Fujian Province and one of the top ten forest parks in China. Its predecessor was Fuzhou Arboretum. The forest park, which has many precious tree species at home and abroad, is known as the green lung of Fuzhou. It is also a good place for Fuzhou people to have fun and relax on weekends and holidays. You can go hiking and barbecue. After breakfast, drive to Gushan Mountain. Gushan is a large scenic spot with lush vegetation and fresh air. However, such a large scenic spot is not only free, but also allows you to drive up the mountain. It is really generous! We drove directly to the Gushan Eighteen Scenery Parking Lot near the top of the mountain, which is also the end of the Gushan Cable Car. Then we walked from the Eighteen Scenery to Yongquan Temple, had lunch on the mountain and then returned to the parking lot. Gushan is a good place for Fuzhou citizens to exercise. Many people hike up the mountain to exercise. Today is New Year's Eve. There are few tourists going up the mountain. It is very pleasant to walk all the way and look far from a high place. In the afternoon, I went to Fuzhou National Forest Park. I happened to encounter the cherry blossom forest with red cherry blossoms in full bloom, which was beautiful! The park is very large and also free. But after visiting Gushan in the morning, the elderly were obviously not able to walk much, so we took a 10-yuan tour bus directly into the cherry blossom forest. There are no such weeping red cherry blossoms in East China. The red cherry blossoms are in full bloom by the water, and the scenery is charming. The cover of my travel notes uses the cherry blossom forest here. There is no road after the cherry blossom forest, but there is a mountain trail, which is very deep.
Fuzhou National Forest, a 4A scenic spot, is also one of the top ten forest parks in the country.
The entire scenic area is divided into: bamboo viewing garden, tree viewing area (8 plant-specific parks including bamboo garden, rare plant garden, palm garden, cycad garden, banyan tree landscape area, Fujian orchid garden, celebrity tree planting area, shade plant garden (foot massage and fitness area)), cultural landscape area, Longtan scenic area, forest museum, bird's singing forest, rare plant garden, etc.
The scenic area is large and can be visited for a day.
Fuzhou Forest Park is one of the nine national forest parks and has a long-standing reputation.
We arrived at Fuzhou Forest Park in the afternoon of the Lantern Festival.
After a day of climbing stairs, I can imagine how exhausted I was when visiting the forest park.
Plus, the food I ordered the night before from a food delivery platform might not be clean.
I had diarrhea and felt completely exhausted.
It just so happened that I was surrounded by various diseases during the few days I was in Fuzhou.
Maybe it’s because after such a long journey, I feel like I’m home in Fuzhou.
Once you settle down, you don't want to bother anymore, and when you relax, all kinds of travel sickness come? Maybe.
So in this case, I just walked to Zhengxin Temple and then turned back.
I want to say that the forest park is really beautiful, especially against the backdrop of the sunset
A pool of water, the fragrance of flowers, green shade, birds singing and cicadas chirping.
Next time I go to Fuzhou, I will definitely go to the Forest Park earlier and spend a day there.
It's like a weekend get-together with my buddies and sisters
Pitch your tent in the mountain meadow camping square and chat with your friends
If there are few people, it is still nice to take a walk. The "Birds Singing Forest" inside is not recommended.
There is no entrance fee to the Botanical Garden, but the electric car is 10 yuan. It is recommended to walk up along the lake and take an electric car when going down the mountain. The characteristic is a big banyan tree. This is also the season for cherry blossoms. Uncles and aunts are taking pictures with their cameras and short guns. It is very lively. I also want to give a good review for the free ticket
Fuzhou National Forest Park is a national forest park and one of the top ten forest parks in China. It is known as the lungs of Fuzhou. It covers an area of 859.33 hectares, which is about 13,000 acres. Due to its unique geographical location and temperature, various flowers, trees, waterfalls and streams are really beautiful. Although it is a free attraction, Fuzhou's tourism industry is not that famous after all, so the flow of people is almost laughing compared to the Bund and Huangshan. Because it is really too big, if you don't have that much physical strength, you can take the sightseeing battery car in the park to go back and forth between the attractions.
Fuzhou National Forest Park was originally named Fuzhou Arboretum. It was founded in February 1960 and approved by the Ministry of Forestry in 1988. It covers an area of 859.33 hectares. It is divided into five parts: forest area, nursery, greenhouse, special garden, and rest area. Considering time, physical strength, and scenery, today I mainly went to see cherry blossoms and Banyan King. I went in through the south gate and first saw the Bayi Reservoir. After passing the peach garden, I drove straight to the cherry garden. The cherry blossoms were already in full bloom and tourists were flocking to the cherry garden. I took an electric car for 10 yuan per person and the return trip was 10 yuan per person.
Fuzhou National Forest Park has a dazzling variety of plants, a vast area, and low traffic, so the scenery here is unique.
A half-day tour of Fuzhou National Forest Park. The air is fresh, and I especially love the large expanses of green bamboo. The ancient banyan tree is the core of the park. The banyan tree is the city tree of Fuzhou, and it has a long history of planting. It is one of the characteristics of the ancient city of Fuzhou, so Fuzhou is also known as the Banyan City.
I like Fujianese, they are typical coastal people, and they have gentle personalities.
Spring is here, boy, and you're spying on me again!
I woke up on the morning of October 3 and had breakfast nearby. Then I took a bus at Wushan Road to Fuzhou National Forest Park. Fuzhou National Forest Park is very big and beautiful. Most of the people who come here are locals.
Before coming here, I read in travel notes that the Fuzhou government is very good. Many attractions do not charge admission. This park is located in a remote area. It takes about 30 minutes to take the bus from Fuzhou Station. There are no residential areas around. There are 3 buses. It is quite large inside. Breathe fresh air and the scenery is not bad.
It is said to be a thousand-year-old banyan tree, which is amazing.
The transportation is quite convenient, and there are many direct buses. It is very big inside, and you can go hiking, barbecue, watch birds, and see the big banyan tree. When we went there, it had just been hit by a typhoon, and many facilities were damaged and have not been repaired yet. The environment is quite quiet
I didn't expect that Fuzhou also has a West Lake. The Forest Park is located in the West Lake. I saw many tree species that are only found in subtropical and tropical areas, especially the banyan tree, whose roots hang down like beards. The park is free, and the Fuzhou Museum is also here. Locals also relax in the park, row boats, and play cards.
It's less than an hour's drive from Sanfang Qixiang. I didn't finish the tour. There were few people and it felt quite comfortable.
Fuzhou Forest Park is one of the iconic attractions in Fuzhou City. It is located in the north of Fuzhou City, towards Beifeng. The East Gate is the main entrance, and it is accessible by bus No. 54, 328, etc. If you drive, you can reach it by going north up the mountain from Fufei Road.
Fuzhou Forest Park is one of the nine major forest parks in China and a national 4A-level scenic spot. The attractions include the Rare Botanical Garden, Birds Singing Forest, Bayi Reservoir, Lakeside Plank Road, Banyan Tree King, Dragon Pond, Peach Blossom Forest, Cherry Blossom Forest, Hiking Trail, Renzi Pond, etc. I like them all very much. The scenery varies according to the season. On weekdays, the forest park is less crowded, and there are many bird-watching enthusiasts here; on weekends, especially on sunny days, the forest park is constantly crowded, parking spaces are relatively tight, and there will be traffic jams on the mountain roads, especially when peach and cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
I have loved coming to the Forest Park since I was in primary school when we organized spring and autumn outings. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the Birdsong Forest was also a rare entertainment attraction in Fuzhou at that time. However, in recent years, there are few tourists and it is no longer worth going. This year, the newly developed plank road around the lake has attracted many tourists to come for an outing; the big banyan tree is one of the symbols of Fuzhou. It is now impossible to get close to it, but it is worth a visit; the newly developed peach and cherry blossom forests are spectacular when they bloom every year; Longtan is as beautiful as ever. But what I recommend most is to start from Longtan and walk the hiking trail. The scenery is good and the streams are continuous. Although the mountain torrents destroyed the key Renzitan in the past few years and it has not been repaired, it has become strange and interesting.
There are electric cars in the forest park, and the ticket is 10 yuan, from the east gate to Longtan Service Area. From the north gate of the forest park, you can walk up to Shoushan Township, the origin of Shoushan Stone.
In short, the forest park is a great place for an outing. If you come to Fuzhou and have time, you might as well go for a walk.
Because I am so familiar with it, I did not save any photos of the forest park, but found one or two logo images on the Internet for reference.
Welcome to like it. You have never given me a gold medal review. These are all the hard work of a local. Am I on the blacklist?
I got up early in the morning to go to Fujian National Forest Park. Unfortunately, I ran into rush hour. I watched the battery car whirring past me but couldn't wait for a bus, which wasted a lot of time. The forest park is in the northern suburbs of Fuzhou City, which is still a bit far.
There are many trees and plants in the forest park that I don't know or have never heard of. There is a dam and a small hill in the forest park. It is a good place to see different plants between the mountains and water. The famous thousand-year-old banyan tree is really shady. Standing under it, it blocks out the sun. Coincidentally, there was a large group of people singing and dancing under the shade of the tree, and it didn't feel crowded at all. It's a pity that I am not a person who knows flowers and trees, and the sun is getting hotter and hotter, so I didn't continue to go up the mountain of the forest park. After walking around the south, I chose to leave.
20161605In the cool morning, my colleagues and I set out for the Forest Park with great enthusiasm. We were not allowed to ride bikes in at the gate, so we walked around. The scenery was great and it was really worth a visit. There were mountains, water and woods. We walked for two or three hours and only visited a little. There is a Longtan Waterfall at the end of the park map. When we got there, we saw that the Longtan Waterfall was a bit shabby. I thought it was a big waterfall. It rained again when we were preparing to return. It rained on weekends for four consecutive weeks. It was really annoying. We couldn't eat first and take shelter from the rain. After eating, it rained harder and harder. It didn't look like a shower. We had no choice but to ride back in the rain. We were soaked. The rain and mud all the way were all over our bodies. When we took the Second Ring Road back, it was also a beautiful scenery, haha
Very good! First-class recommendation~ I have been to many places, and this place hits a lot of my excitement points. It is worthy of being a national level~ There are few people after the rain, but the scenery is very good, and the air is also great~ There are many plants, mountains and water, which can reflect the style of different regions. It is very comfortable to watch. However, there are many mosquitoes, so it is recommended to take good protection~
It's still worth going. It's a big place with a lot of flowers. When I went there, it was spring and there was a big peach blossom forest.
The forest park was the biggest surprise of this trip to Fujian. It is not far from the city. The thousand-year-old banyan tree is lush and leafy, which is very spectacular. There is also a cherry blossom forest, which is very beautiful!
It is very suitable to go there in spring, and it is very nice when the flowers are blooming.
I like this place very much. I saw many trees and plants unique to the south. There are many hiking routes to choose from. There is a famous big banyan tree inside. It is very convenient to take the bus. It is a great place for a paradise.
March 15th, cloudy. After the rain the day before, the air on the mountain was very fresh and comfortable. It is worthy of being called the lung of Fuzhou. We first took the hiking trail, winding up and down the mountain, then went to the cherry blossom garden and took the Songgu plank road to go up the mountain again. The top of the mountain was not allowed to enter. On the way down the mountain, we stopped at Longtan Waterfall. Compared with the previous mini waterfall, this one was still okay. Finally, we went down the mountain all the way, which took more than three hours. It is worth going to relax, but it is too tiring to go down the mountain.
Fuzhou National Forest Park, the thousand-year-old banyan tree is worth seeing. After all, the banyan tree in Yunshui Yao is only more than 600 years old. I saw the flood bridge here for the first time! It feels so magical! And then there is a place called Taoran Terrace! Why don’t Fuzhou cosplayers come here to take pictures? It feels super suitable for taking pictures or dancing!
Generally speaking, the scenery is pretty good, I mean from March to November. At that time, the green plants begin to sprout and the flowers turn red. When I went there, it was dark and gloomy. It might have something to do with the weather. Anyway, I don’t recommend going there in winter. What’s not in place is that there is no map. There are only signs, which can be made more perfect. Make a map of the park so that everyone can know more clearly what scenery there is and compare it when walking. For example, we forgot to take a guide map when we entered the door, and we cried later! We just followed the signs and walked around!
The air is good, there are waterfalls, and there is almost no place to rest from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain.
Fuzhou people are so lucky to have such a large green space in the city.
Free. A huge park of incredible beauty. Lots of oxygen.
This happened two years ago. This set of pictures reminds me of my lost youth. There are very few buses near the forest park so it is difficult to squeeze on the bus. It is nice to camp there. There is a large lawn. It is a wonderful thing to bask in the sun on it. The air does not have the car exhaust in the city. The air is very good and the environment is very good.
It's a very beautiful park. The towering trees at the entrance are really beautiful. The scenery inside is almost as beautiful as Huanglong.
Fuzhou National Forest Park is located in the northwest corner of Fuzhou City. It is not very large, but its biggest feature is that there are many sunbirds when the cherry blossoms bloom in winter, which attracts many bird lovers.
I went to the Forest Park in December. The scenery of the Forest Park is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the peach and cherry blossoms were not in bloom when I went there. We walked along the gray line in the middle of the map. This route passes the most scenic spots and is very scenic. Some tourists also brought their own food to picnic in the park (if you also want to have a pleasant picnic in the park, you can also DIY some food yourself, but remember to keep the park clean and tidy and take your garbage away with an environmentally friendly bag. The further you go inside, the fewer people you will meet. The innermost part of the park is Longtan Waterfall. It is winding along the way and some places are relatively steep. It is recommended not to bring children under ten years old. Don't go to the north exit when you visit the Egret Pavilion of Longtan Waterfall, because you have to walk a long way to get out of the north exit. It is recommended to do some homework in advance and consider how to leave after the play.
The forest park is actually very beautiful, with both blooming flowers and streams, which is especially suitable for taking portraits. The park is also very large and has all kinds of scenery.
It's just average. If you want to visit Longtan Scenic Area, it's not worth climbing the mountain to see it. It's a rip-off. The signboards for climbing the mountain are not good either. The north gate has been cancelled and there is no sign. It's almost time to see the ancient banyan tree. There is no good scenery when climbing the mountain. There are also few trash cans. It's okay to go there for free.
Forest Park was the first stop of the first family trip when Xiao Y was 7 years old. I still remember it vividly. After 20 years, I settled in Fuzhou, and it is still the place I would choose to go on weekends. Forest Park is located in Wusi North, Fuzhou. Bus No. 54, 102 (Forest Park Line), 72, 84, and 87 are directly accessible. No entrance fee is charged. The barbecue area, bird forest, and entertainment facilities in the park are self-funded projects. Xiao Y is really a novice in plants. I checked some information and briefly introduced it here. Friends who are interested in plants must come and see for themselves. In the tree viewing area of Forest Park, more than 1,700 tree species introduced from home and abroad and more than 1,000 plants protected in situ over the past 40 years since the establishment of the park have been used to build a plant specialty garden. The tree introduction area was transformed into a tree viewing area, and eight plant-specific parks were built, including the bamboo garden, rare plant garden, palm garden, cycad garden, banyan tree landscape area, Fujian orchid garden, celebrity tree planting area, and shade plant garden (foot massage fitness area). The bamboo viewing garden, the thousand-year-old banyan tree, the forest museum, the bird's singing forest, and the Longtan scenic area are the only bird eco-tourism attractions in Fujian Province. Compared with the bird's singing forest, Xiao Y is more interested in the bird's singing forest. I remember when I first came here as a child, I saw a talking parrot, a colorful peacock spreading its tail, and many other animals that I only saw in books, such as white swans, which satisfied my curiosity about birds. The pigeons here are not afraid of strangers at all. If you buy some corn kernels, there will be groups of pigeons surrounding you. There are more than 150 species of rare birds in the bird's singing forest, about 5,000 birds. There are several parrot praises every day, and they will interact with tourists, which is very interesting. In addition, there are also entertainment facilities such as archery and pirate ships in the park, which are mostly popular with college students. The earth-shaking screams can be heard from a distance. In spring, the peach blossoms in the Peach Garden are very beautiful, and they also attract many photography enthusiasts. The barbecue area is almost full every week. It is the best choice for friends to get together and family to travel. Barbecue utensils are provided in the park for a fee, and barbecue food can also be brought by yourself. The forest park is worth recommending.

I saw on the Internet that the cherry blossoms in Fujian National Forest Park were in full bloom, so I decided to take this cherry blossom trip. I like this kind of natural landscape that can be visited for free, which always gives you some visual impact and unexpected surprises.
We took bus No. 54 to the Forest Park at around 10 a.m. at the No. 18 Middle School bus stop in Fuzhou. (Fuzhou has dense bus lines, which is very convenient. Search for e Fuzhou electronic bus card on Alipay, and you can use Alipay to scan the code to take the bus.) As soon as we got off the bus and entered the Forest Park, we felt refreshed and the air was fresh. There were towering ancient trees on both sides of the main road. We walked along the main road all the way. We also went in and walked around at the fork in the road and then turned back to the main road. We walked forward to the Peach Garden and Crape Myrtle Garden, but unfortunately it was not in bloom yet.
Continue walking forward in the Crape Myrtle Garden. There is a stone tablet with the words "Zhuangyuan Road" on the right side of the road. This is the Shuangying Garden. The Shuangying Garden is not big, but Heihei and I were so excited to see the blooming cherry blossoms that we almost jumped up. We were from the countryside and entered the big city. Going up the slope on the right side of the Shuangying Garden is the Yangtze River Detachment Memorial Park, which has a 🈶️ Yangtze River Detachment monument, pavilions, etc.
Continue walking forward from the Yangtze River Detachment Memorial Park and you will reach the Cherry Blossom Garden. Covering an area of 37.5 acres, it mainly grows Fujian mountain cherry blossoms and their improved varieties. The blooming cherry blossoms are all over the mountains, attracting birds such as fork-tailed sunbirds to suck pollen. Many photographers set up their long guns and wait there. Seeing them, you will feel that it is really great to have something you love and stick to in life~
Going further from the cherry blossom garden is the Longtan Scenic Area. Heihei and I did not go any further. We returned along the same route to find the thousand-year-old banyan tree. The banyan tree is the city tree of Fuzhou. There are nearly a thousand banyan trees in Fuzhou city. The thousand-year-old banyan tree in Fuzhou Forest Park has a canopy that blocks out the sun and covers more than 10 acres of land. Its trunk is intertwined and is known as the "king of banyan trees." The most surprising part was the Metasequoia forest we encountered on the way to the thousand-year-old banyan tree. The Metasequoia forest is located next to the carp pond and is one of the first Metasequoia forests to turn red in the city. The large expanse of bright red Metasequoia forest is really the most brilliant color in winter.
Finally, we passed through the bamboo garden. There are many varieties of bamboo collected in the garden. It is a very quiet place and a good place to relax.
