The ancient city is located on the Taiwan Strait and is the most complete T-shaped stone ancient city in China. The ancient city was built by the Ming government during the period of fighting against Japanese pirates on the vast sea. The three biggest attractions of the scenic area are the ancient city wall, stone carvings and seaside reefs.
The earliest residents of Chongwu live in the residential area under the city wall, who are descendants of the anti-Japanese army. Climb up the old city wall and stand at the lighthouse, where you can see the outline of the city wall and the statue of Mazu on the sea.
Stone carvings are the first impression of Hui'an, and you can see them everywhere. Although they are now commercialized, it is still nice to take pictures and appreciate them.
There are rocks and shells on the beach. Along the coastline to the beach in the middle, you can catch shrimps and crabs at low tide. There are also shops on the shore where you can eat barbecue.

#小小的旅在旅途# Chongwu Ancient City is located in Chongwu Town, Hui'an County. As the saying goes, the sea gate is as deep as the sea, and the harbor lanes of Chongshan are sad. The Chongwu Ancient City Tourist Scenic Area refers to the beach attraction outside. Tickets are required. Locals do not recommend you to go! It is better to go to the ancient buildings + city walls in the ancient city!
The locals still live in the city, and the city gates, roads, and walls still stand here! In the past, there were Chongwu Ancient City, Jingfeng Liancheng Ancient City, Xiaoqi Ancient City, etc.! Only Chongwu Ancient City remains! Let the government pay more attention to it...
Take the bus directly to Quanzhou Passenger Transport Center, and then buy a ticket to Chongwu at the ticket office, 15 yuan per ticket. Just follow the instructions to get on the bus when there is one. The journey takes about 1 hour and you will arrive at Chongwu Passenger Transport Center. Transfer to No. 221 at the station to Chongwu Ancient City. Please note that the last bus from Chongwu to Quanzhou is 6.10, so control your time! !
We walked and talked along the city wall, it was very interesting, and we also found a bug in this scenic spot.
You can walk along the city wall to this small doorway, which should be for the convenience of residents to enter and exit, but the city walls are all connected, which means that there is no ticket to enter the scenic area from here (evil smile bee) I remember that there is a bus stop here, and the rest is up to you.
On the city wall, I found that many restaurants were selling fish rolls. With the mentality of having to try it if I haven't eaten it before, let's go! Later, I chatted with the boss. The fish rolls are mainly made of mackerel meat, with celery starch pork, etc. It is very nutritious and can be eaten in many ways. It is rolled up for easy carrying. It can also be purchased on WeChat.
If you have enough time, I recommend you to visit Chongwu Ancient City. Although you can't go to the sea in summer, it's still very refreshing to feel the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves. You can see the most traditional way of life in the ancient city, where people live a traditional and simple life.
Chongwu Ancient City is one of the ancient garrisons, but it is perhaps the only one that has been developed. Apart from an ancient city wall, the rest are man-made landscapes, which seem superfluous in front of the natural scenery of the seaside. The statue of the fishing girl at the entrance has some regional characteristics, but the large number of zodiac statues afterwards are simply useless.
Tourists all love the charming scenery of the bay, but the core part of the ancient garrison is the ancient city wall, which stands right in front of the sea. Behind the majestic statue of Qi Jiguang, the city wall winds for hundreds of meters. When the sun sets and you climb the city wall and look at the sea, a feeling of desolation hits you.
You can drive into the city~ Those who love nostalgia and ancient buildings must not miss this place. Although the streets in the city are narrow and deep, the houses are dilapidated and as quiet as water, and there is no "scenery" to see, it retains the vicissitudes of that era and the traces of the past years, which is worth savoring slowly. The narrow streets~The only place in the city that makes me feel uncomfortable, the villagers and tourists travel by motorcycle, the speed is very fast, the horns are noisy, and the peace and tranquility should be wiped out~
Before setting off, I muttered to the navigation: "Chongwu Ancient City? It sounds like an antique commercial street!" As a result, my local friends ruthlessly laughed at me: "This is the most complete Ming Dynasty stone city in China. The anti-Japanese hero Qi Jiguang trained his troops here!" I was so scared that I quickly made up for it: Chongwu Ancient City was built in 1387, made of granite, with a circumference of 2,567 meters, a height of 7 meters, and a thickness equivalent to three of me stacked on top of each other. In short, this is the Ming Dynasty version of the "Great Wall Guard" headquarters!
Previously, I planned to visit Kaiyuan Temple and West Street in the morning and Chongwu Ancient City in the afternoon. Later, I thought it would be better to eat and drink in Quanzhou City, so I temporarily adjusted the itinerary and rushed to Chongwu Ancient City in the morning. Chongwu Ancient City is located on the southeast coast of Hui'an County, bordering the Taiwan Strait. It was built by Jiangxia Hou Zhou Dexing in the 20th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty to resist Japanese pirates. It has a history of more than 600 years and is one of the more than 60 guard castles in China that is still well preserved.
This seaport is the country’s central fishing port;
This coastline was selected as one of the "Eight Most Beautiful Coasts in China" by National Geographic Magazine.
Its name is Chongwu.
The ancient city of Chongwu is different from the ancient cities I usually visit. There are many stone carvings and stone carvings, which are full of historical marks. Walking around and seeing it is a great experience, but I don’t know its hidden history. It’s just a quick visit. After seeing it, I just exclaimed in admiration.
Early in the morning of February 9, we drove to the scenic area of Chongwu Ancient City in Quanzhou. We heard that the beach there is very beautiful. The three biggest attractions of the scenic area are the ancient city wall, stone carvings and the rocks on the seashore. See the pictures for specific landscapes. Hui'an stone carving is a representative of southern stone carving. It is known as "the best in China" and is included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list. There are 25 scenic spots, with a total collection of more than 500 stone carvings of different artistic styles, some small and exquisite, some huge and magnificent, which are integrated with the ancient city and the sea, and are unique.
The coastline here was selected as one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Coasts" by China National Geographic that year. There are buses from Quanzhou Passenger Transport Center Station to here, and transportation is very convenient. If you want to see the coast here, you need to buy a ticket to Chongwu Ancient City. The stone carvings inside are not special and can be ignored. Friends with good physical strength can come out from the east and continue east to Daqi. The scenery along the way is also beautiful!
Go to Quanzhou Central Bus Station and take a bus to Chongwu Bus Station, then change to Bus 221.
There are actually two scenic spots.
1. Stone Statue Exhibition, 45 yuan. I think most tourists who enter here are here to see the lighthouse and the boundary between the East China Sea and the South China Sea.
2. Chongwu Ancient City, free, but there are no signs in the city, I got lost many times, thanks to all the uncles, aunts, grandparents, I finally got out... (Baidu Map is invalid in this area)
Chongwu is famous for its ancient city. It is the most complete T-shaped stone ancient city in China. It is one of the more than 60 castles built by the Ming government in the vast sea to resist the Japanese invasion and is still well preserved.
There are sculptures and a beach, which is quite beautiful. Seniors over 65 years old can enjoy half price.
Retreat from the spring
Whether you are studying historical geography or geographical history, Quanzhou is a must-visit for the ancient flavor. It is just that Hui'an women and Citong City are both the past of the times. If Xiamen, which is full of petty bourgeoisie complex, is like a beauty camera, then the quaint Quanzhou is like a black and white film camera. It is difficult to see her beauty with a click, and you can feel her flavor by slowly washing it.
Quanzhou is the starting point of the ancient Silk Road, and Quanzhou Hotel is the starting point of the modern foodie road. Starting from the hotel, the route designed by Wuli Lige includes noodles, chicken legs, ginger duck, steak, meat dumplings, and four-fruit soup, agar-agar on the tip of the tongue, various cakes from roadside stalls, and classic snacks. It was just that it suddenly rained when I was halfway there. I sighed to God and said, I don’t want the white suit anymore, please let me finish it. So, I gained 5 kilograms and wrote, directed, and acted in this year’s Chinese masterpiece "I’m Not a Foodie". The whole film took 2.5 hours and 15,000 steps to make. Passing by and eating, just like masturbating, are all my beliefs.
Fujian has the bluest sky in the entire mainland, and Quanzhou has the most delicious snacks in Fujian. You can eat while walking under the blue sky. The taste of Quanzhou only melts in your mouth, not in your hands.
I touched my round belly and asked the driver: "Master, besides these temples, what else is there to see in Quanzhou?"
The driver said loudly, "Qi Jiguang fought against the Japanese invaders here. By the way, sir, what company are you from?"
I smiled and said, "Japanese company."
The transportation in Chongwu Ancient City is quite convenient. It is good to pass by and cut down
The scenic area is not very valuable, there is only one stone sculpture park, the coastline is also very ordinary, and there are several food stalls in the scenic area. No tickets are required after 6 pm, but the scenic area is very dark, the lighting facilities are very ordinary, and the park is full of locals selling fish rolls. You can go in the opposite direction from the ticket office and walk directly on the city wall, or watch the sunset on the seawall in the parking lot, which is much more beautiful than the park. Chongwu Ancient City is nominally just a section of the ancient city wall, and the 45 yuan ticket is a bit of a rip-off
Tips: Chongwu Ancient City does not charge admission, but the stone carving factory does. We did not go there. Walk along the city wall in the opposite direction of the stone carving factory, and you can go into the ancient city to visit a small gate called Shuiguan Gate. Chongwu means advocating military preparation. Chongwu Ancient City was an important anti-bandit stronghold in the Ming Dynasty. It is a seaside residential village with hundreds of years of history. We first climbed the city wall, walked along the city wall for half a circle, and then went down the stairs next to a temple. Following the guide's explanation, we visited the Haichao Temple, Guandi Temple, the former residence of the fabric poet Huang Wuye and other attractions one by one. It happened that the village was holding a cultural celebration. We watched the residents singing fishermen's songs. It felt like the local cultural bureau was entertaining itself, which was relatively informal.
I think it is surprising that such a small fishing village could produce so many famous people during the Song and Ming dynasties. This may be related to the fact that many scholars and literati fled to the north due to the wars for many years and settled here.
After getting off the Hui'an Railway Station, there is a minibus on the right hand side that goes to the Hui'an Bus Station. It costs 13 yuan per person. From the station, take bus No. 221 to Chongwu Ancient City. It costs one yuan per person.
Standing under the blue sky, listening to the sound of waves, touching the ancient city walls, feeling the free sea breeze, and greeting the Hui'an women passing by, you might mistakenly think this is the city in the sky.
A very ordinary ancient city, with a strong commercial atmosphere. The surrounding seaside is more interesting than the ancient city.
Walking into the ancient city of Chongwu, you will have the illusion of traveling through time and space. The simple and elegant door lintels, the deep and narrow alleys, the ancient and mottled brick walls... In an instant, you will be immersed in the "vicissitudes" full of the warmth of time, and you will feel a kind of stability, endurance, tranquility and peace that you have never experienced before.
There are long-distance buses to the ancient city, and then you can take Didi, or there are tuk-tuks on the roadside that will stop when you wave.
Chongwu Ancient City, free admission.
Stone carving garden, 45 yuan.
The play time is 2-3 hours.
A little disappointed. The ticket is 45 yuan per person. There are locals to guide you. You can go to the scenic spot for free. There are battery cars. One side is the sea and the other side is the city wall.
It takes about 40 minutes to get there by Didi from downtown without traffic jams. I went there once with my roommate in the summer when I was in college. It was very sunny and there was no beach, only reefs. I went there again with my boyfriend in the spring and summer of this year. We encountered a beach with coarse sand. The air was very good and there was a performance by a local dance troupe, which was quite lively.
There is no need for tickets at all. Don't be fooled. There is nothing to do except the authentic fish rolls. There are only some stone statues. You can go to the sea in the evening to see it.
You don’t need to buy tickets to visit Chongwu Ancient City. The Tianhou Temple in Chongwu Ancient City is not big, but the stone carvings and wood carvings are extremely exquisitely crafted, fully displaying the characteristics of southern Fujian.
I went there a few years ago and it wasn't very fun. I don't know how it has changed now.
The scenic area is not particularly large, and the area may still be under construction, so the environment does not feel particularly clean.
It costs 15 yuan to take a minibus from the passenger transport center. There are many people on the road and there is no air conditioning when it is hot. The ancient city is very windy. You can see the stone carvings. Don't spend money to take an electric car. It costs 10 yuan for a short distance. It is recommended to go up the city wall from the Shijiujing, walk to the Guandi Temple and go down to the beach stone carving park.
You don't need to buy tickets to go to Chongwu Ancient City. You need to buy tickets for a section of beach and stone carving park outside the ancient city. There are not many things worth seeing in Chongwu. You can walk down the whole circle on the city wall, and there is nothing special in the city.
What impressed me most about Chongwu Ancient City was the enthusiasm of Hui'an women.
When you are close to the entrance, there are many parking fees nearby. If you drive a little further inside, you can actually enter without buying a ticket. When you reach the city wall, drive about 100 meters in the opposite direction of the scenic area entrance and you will see a small gate. You can enter the ancient town for free here. You can park anywhere on the roadside, but there is a fee of about 5 yuan.
Chongwu Ancient City is located on the southeast coast of Hui'an. It is the most complete existing stone-built ancient city and one of the best preserved sea garrisons in the Ming Dynasty. It is about an hour's drive from Quanzhou City, and the ticket is 45 yuan. The last return bus is at 5:40. Walk and see all the way. Although the road in the village is very winding, as long as you pay attention to the road signs, you will not get lost. When passing by the City God Temple, I was attracted by the two stone lions at the door. According to the introduction, it is from the late Qing Dynasty and is a masterpiece that can represent the local bluestone carving skills. The base of the lion on the right is missing a corner, which is the masterpiece of the Japanese devils. At first glance, the verdant color does not look like something from a hundred years ago. But after rubbing it carefully, I found that the knife skills of this pair of lions are very smooth and natural, without any discouragement, and the stone also carries the traces of time and the roundness of time. A hundred years is not too much. There are two old ladies cleaning in the temple, and they are not young.
The ancient city is more interesting than expected. The student ticket is 45 yuan. It is quite big inside. You can walk around the city wall to enjoy both the sea view and the ancient city.
It was a sunny day when I went there. The scenery of Chongwu Ancient City was very nice. I bought the ticket directly on the spot. There were various stone carvings, ancient city walls, and the sea. I could also catch a few small crabs and hermit crabs on the rocks.
It's not an ancient city, but an ancient city wall, which is newly built. The special fish rolls are 5 yuan each and taste good. As a park, there is a beach, but as a tourist attraction, it can't be praised. The 45 yuan ticket is a bit of a rip-off. The stone carvings are just advertisements for the stone carving factory. There are too few historical traces. It's better to visit the Fujian-Taiwan Museum.
When you go to Quanzhou, you must visit the ancient city of Chongwu. Built in 1387, it is one of the more than 60 castles built by the Ming government to fight against Japanese invasions along the vast sea, and it is also the only ancient city built of granite in China that is best preserved. It is an ancient city with unique local characteristics that combines coastal scenery, historical relics, folk customs, and sculpture art. Its unique and reasonable construction technology is known as "a case of ancient system engineering."
Chongwu Ancient City is built by the sea, but unfortunately the city wall cannot be climbed. There are almost no tourists in the whole ancient city. The bluestone road is a place where you can feel the old times just by walking around. The sea outside Chongwu Ancient City is also beautiful, the water is clear, but not very cold, and there are occasional cruise ships passing by on the sea. Hui'an Fisher Girl is also a feature of Chongwu Ancient City. I didn't meet her when I arrived in the ancient city, but after leaving the ancient city, on the way to the bus, I met Hui'an Fisher Girl selling fresh seafood.
Convenient transportation, very suitable for strolling and taking children to play in the sand
Chongwu Ancient Town, I went here by chance.
2012
The scenery is beautiful!
There are blue skies, white clouds and bright sunshine.
There are beaches, reefs, seawalls and scenic belts.
There are many small crabs when you move the rocks away on the beach, and there are sea urchins in the gap between two rocks.
I remember there was a three-way intersection outside the gate of the scenic area. There was a small shop on the side of the road and the owner was a cheerful old man.
The fish meal made by the boss is especially delicious!
There are a lot of fish balls, and the boss said they are all handmade fish balls.
The scenery is nice and relaxing. Not many people.
The ancient city is actually very ordinary. Apart from an ancient city wall, there are many stone carvings and an endless sea. However, if you come to Chongwu, it seems unreasonable not to visit this attraction.
I thought the peak time was over on the 3rd, but I found that there were still a lot of people 😂😂😂
Overall it's good. I came to the ancient city mainly to see the historical ancient buildings and humanities culture. Unfortunately, it is not well preserved, which is a pity. I walked to the Guandi Temple and the ancient Great Wall.
Finally came to the old captain's food stall, waiting for the meal 😂😂😂
Walking towards the gate of the ancient city, you will pass a forest of stone carvings. It seems that stone carving is the characteristic craft of Chongwu Ancient City. The sea in Chongwu Ancient City is much cleaner than the sea in the hotel, but there are more reefs and the waves are not small, which is not suitable for swimming. The sun is very good today, and there are many people walking on the beach, which is very lively. Although the scenery of the sea and sky is not as stunning as that of Phuket at the beginning of the year, it is much better than most sea views in China. The gate of the ancient city is not far from the sea. Looking closely, you can still deeply feel the vicissitudes and majesty that history has brought to this city. The ancient city is not big, and there are many people living in it. It is not a pure scenic spot, but it adds a lot of life. Living in a city so close to the sea, their lives must be closely related to the sea. I really hope to have the opportunity to experience the daily life of ordinary people in this city. I don’t know if I can hear the sound of waves hitting the beach on a quiet night.
We arrived in Quanzhou from Xiamen and stayed in a more lively place next to the ancient city. The development here is quite good and the prices are normal. I bought a bottle of black tea at the door for three yuan. However, when you drive towards the main entrance, some uncles and aunts will stop your car and ask you to park in their parking lot. Fortunately, we walked over at night and saw it. The next day, we ignored them and just bypassed them. Then we went there at six in the morning without tickets. But to be honest, there was really nothing inside, just a beach and some statues. You can walk around it in a short while. Then we walked towards the Stone Village, which is outside the scenic area. It is a village. We almost got lost when we went in and walked for a long time before we got out. Haha. I hope it will be helpful to friends who are planning to go there. If you like me, please give me a like.
If you have time, you should go and see the boundary between the East China Sea and the South China Sea, the boundary between the subtropical and tropical regions, and the special geographical and meteorological points. The ancient city is basically restored, and it is rare to see a real Hui'an woman. In addition, the local area is rich in stone carvings. When passing by the stone carving factory, it is full of smoke and miasma, and environmental protection is a big problem.
Overall it's good, with a beautiful coastline. The 45 yuan ticket is not too expensive, but it's a little small, so we finished the tour quickly.
Rather than an ancient city, it is more like a large urban park. You can hardly see the ancientness of it. There are all kinds of stone sculptures added in modern times, and the park staff wear local folk costumes to perform some simple performances.
The sea view is just so-so, the sky is not very blue and the sea water is not clear enough.
2017.03
The pristine coastline is worthy of being named one of the "eight major coastlines in China"; it is also the meteorological dividing line between the East my country Sea and the South China Sea; the ancient city of Chongwu is built of stone, and stone is its soul; the ancient streets are all made of stone, and although they are simple, they are works of art in my eyes, revealing the mottled years of history and precipitating a heavy light.
Chongwu Ancient City is located in the coastal bulge of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, bordering the Taiwan Strait. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction integrating coastal scenery, historical relics, folk customs, and sculpture art.
I've read the introduction before, it's better than expected. The entrance to the scenic spot is in an inconspicuous position on the seaside, which may be temporary. As soon as you enter the scenic area, there are stone carvings, such as Water Margin and Dream of Red Mansions, which should be sponsored by local stone carving factories. It feels out of place. Going further in, I saw the city wall and found some quaint styles. Walking into the seaside, looking at the ancient city and the bay in the distance, I found the most beautiful place in the ancient city. Entering Haimen Village from Guandi Temple is like entering a maze. There are many ancient houses inside, some of which are already deserted, which is a pity. Finally, I came out from the north entrance of Nanmen Street and walked a long way to get back to the entrance, so I must communicate with the driver when I go again.
Chongwu Ancient City is one of the main settlements of the world-famous Hui'an women. I strolled along the streets of the ancient city and could see their hardworking figures from time to time. The ticket to Chongwu Ancient City is 45 yuan, but if you enter the ancient city from the north gate, you don't need a ticket. After visiting the ancient city, you don't need to buy a ticket when you exit the city from the south gate to the seaside. If you follow the tourist route and pass by the Stone Carving Art Park, you must buy a ticket. If you enter the ancient city from the south gate, there will be someone checking the ticket, and there is no one in the ancient city. Travelers can use this as a reference.
An ancient city built of stone, with Hui'an women as its characteristic. The streets inside the ancient city are intricate, with many ancient buildings and ancient villages.
After a day of walking, I deeply felt that the charm of Chongwu Ancient City lies not only in the beautiful stone carvings, the long and solemn ancient city and the wonderful and spectacular beach, but also in the history it contains. The solemnity and vicissitudes enrich its humanistic connotation, making it more famous at home and abroad. The best tourist season for Chongwu Ancient City The buildings in Chongwu Ancient City remain unchanged all year round, but there is a beautiful seaside next to Chongwu Ancient City. After visiting Chongwu Ancient City, you can go to the beach to fully enjoy the other fun of the beach, so it is more appropriate to visit Chongwu Ancient City in summer. Transportation to Chongwu Ancient City: Buy a ticket to Chongwu at Quanzhou Passenger Transport Center Station, the fare is 15 yuan/person, the bus departs in a continuous stream, and this is a one-stop direct trip~ The journey takes about 1 hour. Tickets for Chongwu Ancient City: 45 yuan/person. There are beaches, sculptures, and ancient city walls in the ancient city. Speaking of the ancient city wall, I have to mention that you don't need to buy tickets to go up the ancient wall. You can go directly from the outside of the ancient city. If you buy tickets for the ancient city, you still need to go out of the ancient city to climb the wall. Chongwu Ancient City Accommodation: There are many hotels in Chongwu, so accommodation is not a problem. The standard room price of each Xinjiang Hotel and Xinhanghai Hotel is about 100-150. If you have a special liking for Hui'an women, you can choose a simple family hotel, which costs 15-20 yuan per room.
Chongwu Ancient City is an ancient city wall built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty to resist Japanese pirates. The scenic area now opened mainly displays Hui'an's stone carving skills and Hui women's customs. But I suggest not to buy a ticket to enter the scenic area. The stone buildings inside the city wall are very well preserved. The local customs and market life here are as simple as ever, which is very suitable for shooting.
I really don't like this place. It's a rip-off scenic spot. It costs 45 yuan. It's just a stone carving with a beach. I regretted going there. The transportation is not too convenient. I also encountered a road block. I don't recommend it.
Transportation: There is a bus from Quanzhou Passenger Transport Center Station (address: northwest corner of the intersection of Pingshan Road and Quanxiu Road) to Chongwu Station. The journey takes about 1 hour. The drop-off point is not at the regular bus station, but on the main road in the town (the return trip is also at the place where you get off, and you leave when the bus is full). After getting off the bus, you can ask the locals how to get to the ancient city (the journey is not far, about 10 minutes). Of course, you can also take a motorcycle taxi.
Scenery: The scenic area is not big. After entering the park, there is a stone sculpture park with various giant stone sculptures, including historical figures, animals and mythological stories. It is actually quite boring. Although it is known as "one of the eight most beautiful coastlines in China", the beach is indeed very beautiful, and there is a large reef (many people climb up to take pictures, which is actually quite dangerous), but I have seen the sea so much that I don't think it's strange. The scenic area is backed by this stone city (village), separated by a city wall. There is an exit in the middle of the city wall, where you can walk on the city wall (you must leave the scenic area to go up the city wall, and it is a dead end road. You must return to get off the city wall after visiting), and there is also a small Guandi Temple outside the city wall. Of course, there are ticket inspectors at the exit, and you have to check your tickets when you enter and exit (I could enter and exit with my ticket when I was visiting, but I didn't enter the scenic area again after I went out). You can also go out directly and walk around the stone city (actually the local rural area, most of the houses are made of stone, but many are new houses, and the old houses are either collapsed or almost demolished). I personally think it is much more interesting than watching the sea. However, the alleys in Stone City are winding and like a maze. People with poor sense of direction should find a companion to avoid getting lost.
Quanzhou is a port city, and of course it is also a natural coastal city, with natural bathing beaches and beautiful sea views. Chongwu Town, Hui'an County, east of Quanzhou, is said to have been an ancient city in the past. But I appreciate more the natural scenery along the coast.
When you come to Chongwu, don't rent a bicycle from the bicycle rental stand opposite Xinhuadu Supermarket. The brakes of the bicycle failed and the chain was missing. I asked the owner for a refund, but he said the bicycle had been rented out and no refund would be given for any problems. Even the border guards couldn't come to solve the problem. They were very arrogant.
The ticket is 45 yuan, and the entrance car is 15 yuan per person. It is not worth it. The garden is not big, and the ancient city does not have an ancient feel. Only the cannon crater on the city wall bombed by the Japanese army in 1938 has a slight sense of history. In the garden are modern sculptures of Water Margin, lucky cats? Various stone carvings, under the scorching sun, if there is no beach, it will be a bit boring. It feels that the overall surrounding tourism industry is not well planned.
I wanted to go there when I was in school, but I never made it.
After working for several years, I had an opportunity to go out with my friends and kids, and I went along with them. Haha!!!
Not bad. Anyway, I have no resistance to the sea.
Remember to come here to watch the sunrise, the sea is very blue as the background
The ancient city of Chongwu is located on the seaside of Hui'an County, in Chongwu Town. It has beautiful beaches and folk performances, and is a great place to visit.
It takes an hour to get from Quanzhou to Chongwu by bus. You can get off at Qingsha Bay or Jinshan Bay. After getting off, you can take a motorcycle to Chongwu Ancient City for only 5 yuan, or 6 yuan is acceptable. When you arrive at Chongwu Ancient City, you can feel the historical atmosphere. The earthen walls at that time resisted many Japanese pirates. The most surprising thing is that there are beaches and coasts in the scenic area, but the tide starts at 12 o'clock.
The beautiful ancient coastal city makes me linger!
I didn't expect that the sea in such an unknown place is so blue. I will always remember that sea~
Friends who love nostalgia and ancient buildings are definitely less interested in cultural landscapes. It is recommended to visit the ancient city first. Although the streets and alleys in the city are narrow and deep, the houses are dilapidated and as quiet as water, and there is no "scenery" to see, it has retained the vicissitudes of that era and preserved the traces of the past years. It is worth savoring slowly. After all, there are not many such opportunities.
It takes only one hour to walk around the West Gate, East Gate, North Gate and South Gate. Outside the South Gate is the paid Stone Sculpture Garden Scenic Area.
Chongwu Town, Hui'an County, Quanzhou, Fujian Province is a peninsula, facing the sea on three sides, so it is also known as Xiaodou City. The ancient city of more than 600 years is not very old, but the ancient city wall is well preserved. This ancient city, which is famous for its stone carving hometown and Hui'an women, has not only cultivated generations of stone carving craftsmen, but also created hardworking and brave Hui'an women. The stone carvings here are exquisitely crafted and delicately carved. The stone carvings along the way into the town are amazing! The scenic spot has not been innovated for many years, and the ticket price is 40. The rock carvings near the beach are worth seeing, which is a little surprising. The beach resources are relatively rich. The most famous and complete one is Xisha Bay, and there is also Xisha Bay Hotel, which has a very good environment. At sunset, walking on the dock and seeing all kinds of fishing boats returning from fishing, the scenery is beautiful! Chongwu is famous for fish rolls, which must be tried!
It's OK. The attractions in Quanzhou are basically average. I only went there when I was studying.
It costs 15 yuan from Quanzhou Passenger Transport Center to the vicinity of Chongwu Ancient City, which is only a ten-minute walk away. I followed the advice of netizens and did not buy a ticket to enter the scenic spot. I can enter the ancient city by walking along the city wall. The stone houses are very distinctive and I liked them very much. It was worth the trip.
You can also find a place to go up the city wall and look at the trees and the sea, which is very beautiful.
You can walk from the inside of the ancient city to the other side, where you can see the sea and the bay. You can sit quietly for a while and feel relaxed. It’s great.
recommend.
Full ticket is 45, half ticket is 23. According to the ticket, Chongwu has one of the eight most beautiful coastlines in China. You can really feel its charm by sitting on the beach next to the ancient city wall. The interior of the ancient city is surrounded by city walls, and there are stone houses. It looks very interesting, and there is no ticket inside. It feels like a special journey through the city gate. And if you want to climb the city wall, you can only enter from the inside. There is a staircase next to the Guandi Temple in the south of the ancient city. You can walk more than half of the city wall. There are more weeds on the north side, so you can't go over. The scenic spot that charges tickets feels a bit tasteless. Although the exquisite stone carvings of Hui'an are exhibited, should the significance of the ancient city show the heavy sense of history? Various trees are planted under the city wall, mixed with stone carvings. Does it conflict with the function of the city wall itself? It doesn't feel very serious.
The carvings in Chongwu Ancient City are very wonderful, the beach is first-rate, and the Chongwu fish rolls are very delicious.
I made a special trip just to meet the hardworking Hui'an woman, but it would be meaningless if I didn't meet her.
Chongwu Ancient City is very nice with a great sea view and is an important town for resisting Japanese invaders
The Chongwu Ancient City is the most complete T-shaped stone ancient city in China. It is one of the more than 60 garrison castles built by the Ming government along the vast coastal areas to fight against the Japanese invasion and is still well preserved.
After eating and drinking enough in Xisha Bay and cleaning up the trash, we went to our next destination, Chongwu Ancient City. Chongwu Ancient City is very close to Xisha Bay and can be reached in five minutes by car.
In addition to the remains of the Ming Dynasty wall where General Qi Jiguang fought against Japanese invaders, the ancient city of Chongwu actually has a Chinese Stone Sculpture Art Expo Park. The various lifelike semi-finished stone sculptures on both sides of the road from Quanzhou are breathtaking, and it is worthy of being the hometown of stone sculptures!
But I have been here once, so I didn't go to see the stone carvings. I went directly to the old town in the ancient city to experience the authentic ancient city. The walls of Chongwu are all made of granite, which is quite strong. There are also artillery platforms. Looking at the sea from there is really quite impressive.
The gate of Chongwu Ancient City looks more like the gate of a village. It should have been the garrison of the Ming army back then, right?
