The entrance to the Qingjing Mosque is at the back of the temple. Walk past the front and cross a small bridge, and you will see a small white house. You must comply with the dress code of Islam when entering the temple. If your skirt is too short or your shoulders are exposed, the staff will suggest you buy a shawl when buying tickets, which costs only about 20 yuan. The ticket to the Qingjing Mosque is 3 yuan.

As soon as I walked in and saw the lush green, my heart instantly calmed down.

On the left hand side of the entrance is a small temple ruin, behind a locked iron door with Arabic words engraved on it.

The traditional architectural style of Quanzhou streets seen from the temple does not conflict with the temple’s architecture at all.

The ancient walls of Qingjing Mosque under the sunlight, things with age are beautiful no matter how you look at them.

The temples in Quanzhou have one thing in common, which is a sense of worldliness. This sense of worldliness is not the kind of vulgarity that some temples have with donation boxes or even QR codes everywhere, but the natural sense of relaxation deep inside where there is no pressure, no distance, and no burden. There are many swing-style seats in Qingjing Temple, and it is particularly harmonious to sit on them when you are tired of walking around.

Qingjing Mosque, originally named Shengyou Mosque, also known as Al-Suhab Grand Mosque, is the oldest existing Islamic mosque in China and one of the few ancient mosques in the Islamic world. It was built in the second year of Zhongxiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty (1009).

Ticket price is 3 yuan, opening hours are 9:00-17:15.

Speaking of Qingjing Mosque, let's place our hopes of finding peace here. With a glimmer of hope, we couldn't even get through the gate. It's the Year of the Dragon, and there's a long queue.

Qingjing Mosque is the oldest existing Islamic mosque founded by Arab Muslims in China. It was built in the second year of Dazhong Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty (1009). Together with Yangzhou Xianhe Temple, Guangzhou Huaisheng Mosque and Hangzhou Fenghuang Temple, it is known as the four ancient Islamic mosques in China.

Qingjing Mosque is right next to Guanyu Temple. It is the earliest mosque built by Arab Muslims in China and a symbol of the old prosperous commercial port's tolerance of various cultures. Many mosques in the south have been transformed into Han-style buildings, but this one is obviously an ancient style, close to the style of the Middle East.

By Rest, little thief |

The oldest mosque in China, and it is in Arabic style. It is a very important building in history and culture. The existing ones are mainly the gatehouse and a few pillars inside. There is a small Han-style mosque in the shape of Quanzhou folk houses for believers to worship. When I went to Quanzhou for the second time, an Arabic-style mosque was built, which seemed to be funded by a Gulf country.

The Islamic-style Qingjing Mosque stands out among the many historic sites in Quanzhou, largely because of its architectural features. Qingjing Mosque charges a few yuan for admission, but it is worth it. Here is a one-day tour route recommended for the ancient city of Quanzhou: West Street - Kaiyuan Temple - Bell Tower - Weiyuan Tower - Yuanmiao Temple - Chengtian Temple - Bronze Buddha Temple - Tumen Street - Qingjing Mosque (ticket 3 yuan) - Tonghuai Guanyue Temple - Tianhou Palace - Li Zhi's Former Residence - Jubao Street - Zhongshan Road - Fuwen Temple.

Although there are not many remains of the original site, it is still worth a visit if you are interested in Islam. However, you are not allowed to wear shorts or skirts when visiting.

As one of the first batch of heavily protected sites in the country, there is no reason not to go. It is a good place to feel the vicissitudes of life and reminisce about the past.

The only religious site in Quanzhou that requires an entrance fee, which is a symbolic fee, but the staff are not Muslims (at least not dressed in Muslim clothes)

By Empty to the Moon |

It may be the oldest mosque in the country, with important cultural relics and religious value. If you exclude faith, it is not worth visiting.

I like it so much, it’s simple and quiet, like a different world in the center of the city.

I heard that Quanzhou Qingjing Mosque is the earliest existing Islamic building in my country. I was attracted by its ancient appearance with Arabic architectural style.

Qingjing Mosque is located in the middle of Tumen Street, Licheng District. Next to it are Haochengcai Steakhouse, Goldfish Lane and other attractions. It is very convenient.

It is said that in ancient times, Muslim muezzins climbed to the top of the minaret, and their calls would be responded to by hundreds. At night, a fire was lit on the top of the minaret to guide merchant ships, so that they could see everything within a radius of 100 miles. In autumn and winter, merchant ships loaded with silk, porcelain and tea set sail. In spring and autumn, ships loaded with spices and medicines came to Quanzhou Port. Arab Muslims gathered in the temple, bathed and changed clothes, climbed the tower to look out, recited the Koran, prayed and praised Allah almighty for blessing the Muslim fleet with a safe journey. The minaret of the temple was originally built of stone. In the early 16th century, it was a wooden tower and was destroyed by a hurricane in 1687 AD.

In short, many tourists take photos and check in! But I hope there will be more cultural introductions inside the scenic area~

The ticket price is 3 yuan per person. Pork and pork products are not allowed. Women's clothes cannot be exposed shoulders, backs, or navels. Shorts, short skirts, or low-cut clothes are not allowed.

The tickets to the Qingjing Ancient Temple are very cheap, but the place is not big.

But the carvings inside are very beautiful.

By Allen |

You need to pay a ticket to visit Qingjing Mosque. The ticket office is behind the temple. You will see a white building after crossing the bridge. The ticket is not expensive, 3 yuan. It should be used for temple renovation. There are only three or two tourists in Qingjing Mosque.

By BYLWWDSMW |

It is worth mentioning that almost all places in Quanzhou do not charge admission fees, only Qingjing Mosque charges a symbolic three yuan. Islam does not depict images, so the overall design of Qingjing Mosque is simple and plain. The Arabic Koran is carved inside the door. There used to be a large dome above the grass, where believers chanted and worshipped, but unfortunately the dome was destroyed by an earthquake in the late Ming Dynasty. Only the pillars and windows remain. Later, a Chinese-style building was built inside the mosque for worship, and it was much smaller in scale.

By Kang Datou |

Qingjing Ancient Mosque is the earliest mosque in China. It was built by the Arab merchants who were doing business in Quanzhou. The ticket for this attraction is three yuan, which is not expensive, but if you wear shorts or sleeveless, you may need to spend ten or twenty yuan to buy a scarf.

Walk 3 or 4 minutes from Guanyue Temple to Qingjing Mosque. You can go through some antique market in Quanzhou between Guanyue Temple and Qingjing Mosque to the back of Qingjing Mosque. Go to the tourist center there to buy tickets, 3 yuan per person. You can't enter if you wear shorts or revealing clothes. It's really beautiful inside, and it's really exotic. Compared with Guanyue Temple, it's much quieter, and there are swing chairs! There are also mosques and Baba Temples in my hometown. The architectural style is completely different from that of Qingjing Mosque in Quanzhou. It's true that different places have different architectures. I've seen it this time, hahahaha!

By Amen |

The ticket office is on the left side of the temple. After crossing the bridge, you will find the visitor center (also in Islamic style).

When entering the mosque, you must respect Islamic customs, and your clothes should not be too revealing, and your skirt should be below the knee. Since the prayer hall of the mosque must face the holy city of Mecca, the layout of the Qingjing Mosque is also east-west. Tourists mainly linger in the Fengtian Temple on the west, which is where they worship Allah. The new chapel on the east side is where Muslims living in Quanzhou worship, so everyone did not disturb them too much. (Please respect the believers and do not take photos casually) The Qingjing Mosque is really quiet. There are not many tourists at noon. The granite stonework is clean and neat, and the majestic stone pillars make people more awed, and they dare not pose presumptuously.

By Arsene Caddy |

Tumen Street is very close to Guandi Temple and Fuwen Temple, so you can visit them together. Tickets are 3 yuan, and you can buy them in the alley behind the side. Note that girls must wear clothes that are above the knees, otherwise there are silk scarves for 10 yuan each at the ticket purchase place. The interior is not big, and you are not allowed to enter the chapel. The stone pillars outside should be ancient monuments. Enjoy the quietness

Qingjing Mosque, ticket price is 3 yuan. The ticket office is not at the main gate, but in a small alley on the left, and you have to cross a small bridge.

The playing time is less than 1 hour.

1. Qingjing Mosque is a ruin, and there are no monks inside

2. You need to go around the back of the temple to buy tickets for Qingjing Mosque (3 yuan, 9 am to 5:30 pm)

3. Qingjing Mosque is very close to Guandi Temple, Confucian Temple and Kaiyuan Temple, so you can visit them together!

By Fish running on land |

It may be the best mosque in China. Although Xining Grand Mosque is also very good, Quanzhou Qingjing Mosque is really beyond expectations. It instantly travels back to the Yuan Dynasty. You must not miss it!

Ping An is relatively small, and the ticket price is three yuan. There are very few people, and the tourism value is 2 stars⭐

The temple is solemn and peaceful under the blue sky and white clouds. I was a little tired after walking around. There were not many tourists. I sat quietly in the temple and enjoyed the tranquility.

By Mu Qing Yiran |

Maybe it's not as popular as other temples, or maybe there are some restrictions, so a ticket is required. 3 yuan is not expensive. The stone pillars in the Temple of Heaven are probably the oldest authentic ones in the temple. Some other tombstones of believers can help people understand more about Islam.

The oldest existing Islamic mosque founded by Arab Muslims in China.

Located on Tumen Street.

It's not too big inside, and half an hour is enough to take a quick look around.

Just looking at the name, I thought Qingjing Mosque was a Buddhist temple. Only when I got closer did I realize that it was actually an Islamic temple. Qingjing Mosque covers a large area, but the layout is very simple and exquisite. Compared with the huge architectural layout of Buddhism with three halls in front and five halls in the back, it is more acceptable.

By Vast |

The mosque was built more than 1,000 years ago, and its granite walls tell the vicissitudes of history. The sky was just the right blue, and the sunshine was just the right brightness. I spent most of the afternoon taking photos and still felt unsatisfied.

By Ben Ben Ma |

I took my kids there a long time ago. Maybe it was a typhoon that day, so there were not many tourists. The ticket was also very cheap, about two yuan. There was a Hao Chengcai beef restaurant opposite, which was delicious.

The place is not big. Go there in the evening. The setting sun shines on the mottled wall tiles, a faint golden color. The lights are just beginning to set off the bright moon, which is even more charming.

Qingjing Mosque is said to be the earliest mosque in China (ticket price: 3 yuan). It was indeed very quiet, with no more than ten tourists. There was an incense burner inside, which a tour guide said was from the Song Dynasty.

Less than 100 meters west of Guanyue Temple is Qingjing Temple.

Ticket price: 3 yuan per person.

It is a small and exquisite tourist attraction. What is more special is that there is a small Islamic library inside, which is equipped with tables and chairs for people to read and rest. It is quite thoughtful.

Qingjing Mosque, one of the top ten temples in the country, is a key cultural relic protection site. It was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and is the oldest existing Islamic temple founded by Arab Muslims in China. It has a very high status as a cultural relic. The ticket is 3 yuan. The gate tower and the main stone wall are intact. There are many Islamic characters on the stone wall, which are worth seeing.

The imperial edict issued by Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di, to protect the Qingjing Mosque is intactly embedded on the wall of the temple. This is amazing. This is the first time I have seen an imperial edict

The former prayer hall, with its huge shape and scale more than 1,000 years ago, is truly amazing!

This is a very old Arabic-style mosque. The temple is not big, and the archway at the entrance is the most worth seeing. You need to buy a 3 yuan ticket to enter. This very exotic temple symbolizes the inheritance of Quanzhou's ancient civilization.

Quanzhou Qingjing Mosque is the oldest existing mosque in China. It is located in the center of Quanzhou's old city. There is a large square and beautiful trees. Next to it is the Guanyu Temple. The geographical location is very excellent.

The style of the Qingjing Mosque is similar to the Iranian and early Turkish Seljuk architecture, but it is obviously much rougher and not well preserved, so there is not much to see. However, the weather was so good when we arrived at the Qingjing Mosque that the sky was purple, which made the mosque look very imposing.

The main cities in Fujian are all distributed along the coastline. There is a city called Quanzhou above Xiamen and below Fuzhou. Many people flock to Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, but ignore Quanzhou, which is only a 20-minute drive away. Quanzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, was once the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road and the "City of Light" where Marco Polo lingered. The glory and splendor of the past are gone, but the original Minnan style is retained. Dozens of religious temples of various types are dotted in the city. The Guandi Temple, Qingjing Mosque, Fuwen Temple and churches are concentrated on Tumen Street, which is less than 100 meters long. Quanzhou Qingjing Mosque is the earliest existing Islamic building in China. It was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. The typical Islamic mosque architectural style makes this originally quaint Tumen Street suddenly have a taste of foreign countries, but it feels no sense of disobedience when you look closely. Now there are only some remains of the mosque. There is an ancient Arabic version of the Quran in the middle of the west wall, witnessing the "internationalization" of ancient China. The newly restored chapel next to it is so peaceful and tranquil under the blue sky and white clouds.

Qingjing Mosque is in the style of a mosque and is the only attraction that requires a ticket (although it's only 3 dollars). Compared to the breathtakingly gorgeous and extravagant architectural styles in Malaysia and Turkey, Qingjing Mosque is more like a fusion of Chinese garden concepts. The stone pillars and stone walls have a quaint style, and the courtyard surrounded by green trees is also worth sitting in and relaxing for half a day in a daze.

By Calm Night |

Quanzhou is a magical place, where temples of various religions can be built side by side and coexist peacefully. It is not easy to be so open and tolerant when you think back to the feudal period when they were first built.

You need to buy a ticket to enter, which is not expensive, equivalent to a donation for maintenance. There are basically no people visiting, and it is a very quiet garden. You can't enter the indoor prayer room.

The prayer times are posted on the door, and traces of ancient times can be seen in some places.

The ticket price seems to be three yuan. Qingjing Mosque is quite small. You can go there in the evening when there are fewer people.

By Planting the moon under the street lamp |

The largest existing ancient Islamic temple in China. The ticket is only 3 yuan, but this is the only place among many temples. From this, we can see that Quanzhou is really not a tourist city.

As soon as you enter, you can feel the Arabian style, coconut trees, Arabic characters, stone tablets and stone pillars, all of which make you travel through time in an instant. For only 3 yuan, you can get the Arabian style experience tour. The overall area is not large, and the essence is the buildings on the grass. Each stone has a history of thousands of years. Touching them, you can feel a sense of vicissitudes and luck in your heart. There is also a chapel, but it is not allowed to visit. You can get a general idea from the outside. There are no statues of the main god in the mosque, because believers believe that Allah cannot be described, which is different from Buddhism and Christianity. When I went there, the weather was clear and there were very few tourists, so it was very suitable for taking photos.

By SteamChan |

As a characteristic temple of Islam in Quanzhou, Qingjing Mosque is worth visiting. It is a relatively open mosque in China and a good opportunity to observe Islam up close.

The ticket is 5 yuan, but there is no requirement to take off shoes or wrap the body with a scarf after entering, which is relatively open. The walking range is mainly in the garden, and non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the main hall.

On Tumen Street, the Islamic Qingjing Mosque is simple and quiet, while the Guandi Temple not far away is very popular. Quanzhou is really a wonderful city, the embodiment of the best cultural exchange and integration. Qingjing Mosque is the earliest Islamic mosque in China. After entering the tall gate and turning left, you can see the ruins. It was raining when I went there. There were some stone pillars and Arabic stone carvings standing on the lawn, and history seemed to be right in front of me.

I highly recommend it. It is the oldest existing mosque in China. It is not easy to survive the catastrophes of successive dynasties. The ticket price is not expensive. I highly recommend it. The Qingjing Mosque, originally named the Holy Friends Mosque, was also known as the Al-Suhab Grand Mosque. It was first built in 1009 AD and rebuilt in 1310 AD.

It is the earliest and oldest existing stone-structured Islamic mosque in China with a unique and typical ancient Arabic Islamic architectural style, which is rare in China. It is also the only Islamic mosque selected among the top ten famous temples in China.

The ticket for the tour is 3 yuan and the tour takes about 0.5 hours.

I didn't expect that my first visit to a mosque would be in Quanzhou. I went there on a weekday and it was drizzling, so there were few tourists. On Saturday, when I passed by there on the bus, I found that it was crowded with tourists, many of whom seemed to be from Islamic countries. The ticket cost 3 yuan, and it would be even better if I could meet a tour group and listen to the explanation.

The stones engraved with the names of Iranian and Yemeni Muslims who helped build it, the sarcophagus of a person buried in the holy Muslim tomb in Quanzhou who was not born there, and the plaque given to Mingshan Hall by the descendants of the Ma family who changed their Chinese surnames to become high-ranking officials make me feel that technological progress or the liberation of thought have not made us wiser. Instead, people at that time knew better how to live in harmony.

The Fengtian Temple that was damaged by the earthquake, the incomprehensible Arabic on the niches, and the indistinguishable descendants of Muslims reminded me of the ancestral hall of the Torghut people in Shenyang: Chinese culture is full of warmth and blood and tears. Even if the temples that were built collapsed and then rebuilt, they are still China.

"Cloudy mountains and Baiyue roads, people from ten continents in the market". As the earliest Islamic religious building in China, although only broken walls and ruins remain now, the vigorous, solid and rough giant stone pillars stand on the flat green grass, and one can still feel the heroic demeanor, as if seeing the prosperity of Quanzhou, which was praised by the West as the "City of Light" in the past, and merchants and missionaries from various countries gathered. The Qingjing Mosque is not large in scale. Although only a few stone walls, stone pillars, stone doors and scripture inscriptions remain, it is also quite appealing. The new building next to it is a religious venue with practical functions, which can be used by religious people at specific times.
