Tianyou Peak has very beautiful scenery. Early spring in March is a good season for sightseeing. The trees have new branches. If there is a little rain, the scenery will be even more beautiful! The water flow, small waterfalls, birds in the forest, and vigorous stone carvings... form a picture scroll; surrounded by rain and fog, it is like being immersed in a poetic landscape painting. On the way down the mountain, I encountered three wild white pheasants. I was really amazed by the beauty of nature and felt a sense of reverence for nature in my heart!
Tianyou Peak is very lively and is a tourist attraction that most tour groups will climb. Similar to Huxiao Rock, it also requires climbing stairs and is about the same difficulty. In comparison, the scenery is better than the former, so I would rank Tianyou Peak as No. 1 in terms of scenic experience + difficulty.
There are more than 800 steps, and the scenery becomes more and more beautiful as the altitude increases. Many of Wuyi Mountain’s promotional photos were originally taken here.
After climbing a short distance and looking at the scenery, people were cheering each other on. It was indeed quite tiring for the elderly and children to climb down the entire way. As the saying goes, "the most beautiful scenery is on the dangerous peaks." It is true that the higher you go, the more beautiful it is.
Climbing up the Tianyou Peak along the trail, I looked back inadvertently and found a pavilion on the steep mountain. I thought that playing the piano and singing in this scene would give me the feeling of finding a soulmate in the mountains and rivers. It's a pity that I am a vulgar person, otherwise I would definitely go to the pavilion to appreciate it.
We continued to climb the stairs and headed towards the summit. Having climbed the mountains in the north, we did not feel any pressure to climb such a high mountain. We walked slowly and leisurely, and soon we arrived at the place where we could see the iconic scenery of Wuyi Mountain. It was a pity that the weather was not good at all, so we could only see this scenery.
The clear stream rushed down, although the water drop was only about 120 meters, less than one eighth of three thousand feet, but I still thought of the popular poem by the poet Li Bai. It was only because the rock wall of Tianyou Peak was so steep, as if it was a towering wall of thousands of feet.
We encountered a small "waterfall" on the way.
The green mountains in the distance are looming in the mist, gradually overlapping with the holy mountains in my mind. The mountains shrouded in clouds and mist give people a sense of mystery.
Behind Tianyou Pavilion is the back mountain trail of Tianyou Peak. We breathed in the refreshing air and admired the emerald green and indigo along the way. Soon, we reached the bottom of the peak.
There are shuttle buses everywhere in the scenic area, and the fee is included in the ticket, which is very convenient. If you travel during the holidays and want to go rafting, remember to book the ticket early, otherwise you will not be able to book it when you arrive at the scenic area.
In the whole scenic area, only Tianyou Peak has the most people, because there is only one road up the mountain, and some places can only be passed one by one, so it looks crowded, but for the National Day holiday, it is really okay. It may also be because we went there on the 2nd and the big team has not arrived yet. From entering the scenic area to going down Tianyou Peak, we walked for a total of half a day. In fact, it took more than 2 hours to go up and down the mountain. Tianyou Peak is not very high, and the most special thing is that the whole peak is a big stone.
The scenic bus to Tianyou Peak is a very "cool" little train. When I got off the bus, I encountered one of the various sweet-scented osmanthus fragrances that accompanied me all the way - golden osmanthus. When I was in college in Shanghai, the fragrance of the flowers was usually the strongest before November. The encounter with sweet-scented osmanthus in Fujian in mid-October was completely unexpected. And it was the first time I saw the red osmanthus, which was rich in fragrance and dazzling in red.
There are many large stream fish under the bridge, and I believe many tourists who see them are drooling over them.
After crossing the bridge and walking inside, you will pass by the site where Zhu Xi gave lectures (all built later, it didn't exist when I was ten years old). Entering the ticket gate is the official entry into the Tianyou Peak Scenic Area. Slowly walk up the steps to "Yunguan", where there is a small fork road leading to "Shuiyue Pavilion". From here, you can reach the foot of Tianyou Peak, where there are fewer tourists.
The next step up to Tianyou Peak was to climb more than 800 steps, which gradually killed my high spirits.
Tianyou Peak in Wuyi Mountain is one of the 36 famous peaks in Wuyi Mountain. It is known as the "No. 1 scenic spot in Wuyi" and one of the iconic landscapes in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. It is located in the north of Jiuqu River and Liuqu River in Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Province, with an altitude of 408.8 meters and a relative height of 215 meters. Tianyou Peak attracts countless tourists and literati with its majestic mountain scenery, ever-changing sea of clouds, and unique natural and cultural landscapes. It towers on the side of Xianzhang Peak and Qingyin Rock, forming a whole. The surrounding peaks are arched towards it, and the Jiuqu River lingers under the peak. It is a panoramic view of the Wuyi peaks.
Cross the Wuqu Bridge and officially enter the Tianyou Peak Scenic Area.
Tianyou Peak, the first scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain, is located in the central part of the scenic area behind the Wuqu Yinping Peak of Jiuqu River. It has an altitude of 408.8 meters. It stands out among the peaks. The top of the mountain is guarded by many famous peaks and surrounded by Jiuqu River on three sides. The panoramic view of Wuyi Mountain can be seen at a glance.
To the right of Fuhu Rock is the entrance to Tianyou Peak.
Tianyou Peak is known as the first peak in the scenic area, but in fact it is only the highest peak that is allowed to be climbed. Its altitude is only 408 meters, and the vertical climbing height is only 200 meters. From a distance, Tianyou Peak is just a huge stone. Its characteristic is that during the whole process of climbing, you can see that all around you are huge cliffs with thousands of feet of cliffs and rocks chopped out by axes, so you can appreciate the characteristics of Wuyi Mountain.
【Tianyou Peak】is located in the north of Liuqu River, with the center of the scenic area at an altitude of 408.8 meters and a relative height of 215 meters. It is one of the most representative peaks among the 36 peaks of Wuyi Mountain, and is famous for its beautiful scenery. Every spring and winter morning or after the rain, white clouds fill the mountains and valleys, and the wind blows the clouds, ups and downs, like the waves of the sea, surging. Climbing to the top of the peak and looking at the sea of clouds, it is unpredictable, as if you are in the sky and traveling in the sky, so it is called Tianyou Peak. The famous traveler Xu Xiake climbed this peak and sighed: "It is not near the river, but it can enjoy the beauty of Jiuqu, so this peak should be the first."
Overlooking Jiuqu River from Tianyou Peak. The view here is wide, and you can almost see the entire Jiuqu River.
Tianyou Peak is the most scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain. Xu Xiake commented that "it is not near the stream, but it can enjoy the beauty of the Nine Creeks". After reaching the top, I suddenly realized that the main landscape of Tianyou Peak is around the six bends of Jiuqu Creek. At Shuiyue Pavilion and Banshan Pavilion, you will not even realize that this is the big bend of Jiuqu Creek on the postcard. The climb of the entire Tianyou Peak is not too hard. The beauty is that the same scenery presents a more vivid picture as the altitude increases. The vivid practice tells us that "the higher the position, the broader the vision".
I personally think that Tianyou Peak has the best scenery among the four scenic spots in Wuyi Mountain. Wuyi Mountain is a Danxia landform, and there are no particularly high mountains. Tianyou Peak is the best one to climb! The overall climbing intensity is not high. From the highest point, you can see Jiuqu River winding through the Danxia forest, and the scenery is good. It is recommended to arrange a 2-day tour of the four scenic spots in Wuyi Mountain.
Many people give up halfway, but in fact, if you grit your teeth and make it to the top, you will feel that the effort you put in is worth it after reaching the top.
The most classic place to visit, Tianyou Peak can see part of Jiuqu River
Green mountains and clear waters, walking on the country road, it's like the scene in Japanese anime, very beautiful
Tianyou Peak in Wuyi Mountain is the most scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain in Fujian. Climbing to the top of the peak, you can have a panoramic view of the whole Wuyi Mountain.
I went there during the National Day in 2017. I didn't encounter the prospect of huge crowds of people. The scenery was nice.
Tianyou Peak is the highest peak in Wuyi Mountain, with beautiful scenery
The scenery in Tianyou Peak Scenic Area is very nice, but few tourists like this feeling.
Suitable for traveling with family, a good place to relax.
Tianyou Peak is the essence of Wuyi Mountain. You must climb Tianyou Peak when you come to Wuyi Mountain. It feels great to look down from the top of the mountain.
Wuyi is undoubtedly
Although I have been to so many mountains, I still don’t like mountains very much, and Wuyi Mountain is one of the few that I would recommend.
The mountains are not too high, the water is not too fast, the weather is not too hot, the wind is not too cold, there are high-speed railways, airports, small-budget hotels, unique food, you can pick tea and flowers at will, and taste tea and snakes as you like. Whether you are on a team-building tour, a parent-child tour, an intra-community tour, a tour for the elderly, or a tour for lovers, there must be one that suits you.
It’s just that China has so many mountains, and Chinese people like to rank them so much. Wuyi Mountain does not have a chance to stand out among the Three Mountains and Five Peaks, Four Buddhas and Four Taoists. I think that Wuyi Mountain may not be ranked in the top ten mountains that amaze me, but it can definitely be ranked in the top three among the mountains that will not disappoint you.
Wuyi Mountain is undoubtedly a beautiful mountain.
It looks difficult to climb, but it is actually quite fast. You can see the beautiful scenery of Jiuqu River (it should be the fourth and fifth bends). Go down the steep slope (the one on the right after entering the door) and then go down the gentle slope, and circle the mountain. Buy some food at the top of the mountain.
Tianyou Peak Scenic Area is truly a natural wonder with intoxicating beauty! In nature, people will become very natural and spontaneous. Although the body is tired and the legs are sore, the spirit is indeed happy, and the greenery is refreshing.
Watching Tianyou from a bamboo raft is a completely different feeling from climbing Tianyou Peak. It is more than 400 meters high and has 848 steps. It is not very high, but it is relatively steep. It is a major attraction that must be visited when visiting Wuyi Mountain, and the scenery is very beautiful.
Tianyou Peak is a peak for traveling in wind and rain.
I entered the scenic area at around 3pm and went straight to the boarding area. The uncle said that I didn't have enough time and it usually takes 2 to 3 hours to climb. He asked me to go to other scenic spots first and go there at another time. Later, he looked at my ticket, pointed to a car, and asked me to wait for the bus to leave.
I followed three Yunnan uncles and a local female tour guide and walked together silently. I followed them and got some explanations. I thought we were in a hurry and everyone was holding umbrellas, so I didn’t take many photos of the scenery on the road.
I was a little scared that I wouldn’t be able to reach the top after hearing what the driver said. I couldn’t see the direction clearly and didn’t have any goal when I looked at the endless top and the foggy mountain. I wanted to give up halfway, but I finally made it to the top.
After sitting for a while and eating four durian cakes, it started to rain heavily, so I went down the mountain with the three uncles. As we walked, we wanted to take some pictures of the mountain spring water, so we stopped. We found that the clouds and mist had dissipated with the rain 💦. We picked up the camera to take a video. I used a hornet's nest "Wo Wo" to take a video, but I don't know where it went!
Finally, I was the only one left halfway up the mountain. The local uncles and aunties who were soliciting people to take photos had all left, and no one came down the mountain behind me. I took photos by myself for a long time, and in the end the video was gone. There were only these detailed photos. It's a pity that I can't show them to you.
I was a little scared going down the mountain. If I couldn’t find the way, I would end up feeding wild animals in a national nature reserve!
You must get up early to climb Tianyou Peak, because the climbing route is on the west side of the mountain. There are no trees to block the way. In the morning, when the sun rises, there is a shade to cool off. You can hardly stop because you have to climb the steps continuously. If it is after 10:30, the sun will shine on the mountain road, and you will be like an ant on a hot pot. Just imagine how hot it is.
There is a small train at the south entrance that goes to Tianyou Peak. It has a unique flavor and those who are interested can take it. The south entrance is the main entrance to the scenic area.
After arriving at Tianyou Peak by bus, there is a roaming trail to the Cave Heaven Fairyland, and then you walk across the Five-Curve Bridge, passing by Wuyi Jingshe in the middle (you can turn back and see this later). Going straight ahead is the entrance to the scenic area. The Tianyou Peak Scenic Area is a circle and you still have to exit from the ticket gate in the end, so don't take the wrong road. After passing the ticket gate, enter the cave on the right.
Walk all the way up towards Tianyou Peak. You can go and see Shuiyue Pavilion when you pass by. It is said that this is where Zhu Xi gave lectures.
I heard that the pavilion on the top of the mountain was a dance hall built by Chiang Kai-shek for Soong Mei-ling, but it was not used in the end. The road to Taoyuan Dongtian is on the right side of the pavilion. When you walk past it, you will see a road on the right that goes up. The sign indicates the weather station, but during the Republic of China, it was Chiang Kai-shek's Miaogao Villa. If you are interested, you can go up and take a look, then turn back and walk along Humajian. This section is quieter and cooler, and there are some stone carvings in the middle. The title of Tianyou Peak's No. 1 Mountain also comes from the stone carvings here.
Go to the Tianyou Peak boarding point. Be sure to read the signs when entering the boarding point. The destinations are different. If necessary, ask the staff where you want to go to avoid getting on the wrong bus.
When the sky clears up after rain or when the morning light appears, climb to the top of the mountain and look at the sea of clouds, which are like the waves of the ocean, ever-changing.
The old man is 71 years old this year. When he climbed to the top of the mountain, he could see all the other mountains as small, and the small bamboo raft floating in the stream was as poetic as a painting.
Wuyi Mountain has a unique landscape, it is worth a visit!!!
It is a good place to enjoy the clear streams of Wuyi Mountain surrounded by mountains from a high perspective. The climb is tough, but you must come up.
There is a spectacular Danxia landform here, with towering cliffs.
I won't share the appreciation of the beautiful scenery. There are more wonderful articles to refer to. I just want to complain about the sedan chair! When you go hiking, don't bring children under three years old. The peaks are steep, there are many stone steps, there is a lot of moss, and there are many people! There are more than 800 steps up the mountain and more than 1,000 steps down the mountain. Whether your child can climb it depends on your ability. I am the type who doesn't know my own ability. I dragged the kid who didn't want to walk and had to take a human sedan chair at the entrance. The price agreed on the sedan chair is 300 for an adult and a child, and it is carried to the halfway point of the mountain, which is actually from the entrance of the scenic area to the foot of Tianyou Peak. Of course, there are many stone steps, and it is really hard to carry. I am so soft-hearted that I really can't bear to sit down, so I came down and let the little guy carry it alone. Of course, the introduction of the scenery along the way is also hard enough. Maybe I got a kind porter, and I saw that other porters were not very enthusiastic about explaining. After coming down to the door, the head of the porter asked for 380. Only then did I remember why I insisted on paying after I came back when I was soliciting customers, because no one would record it, so I had to raise the price when I got there. Besides, most of the passengers were soft-hearted, so I had to pay. I used to be respectable, but after we arrived at the station, I lost all my goodwill towards the porter! However, the porter who picked me up was very good. He helped me get to the Zhu Xi Academy and told me that the person in charge was the boss of the company, and there was nothing I could do, otherwise it would be difficult for them. Oh... You'd better not do it. First of all, they are very hard-working, and secondly, there is nothing to do. Of course, if you are bringing a child who can't walk, you can try it. When you go, negotiate the price and record it! ! My friendly reminder!
Most of the two sides of the Tianyou Peak climbing road are exposed rocks. There is almost no shade during the climb, so sunscreen, sun hats, sun umbrellas, ice sleeves... none of them are missing. In the temperature of 35 or 36 degrees, the sun is scorching, sweating, and panting. It's so refreshing! Fortunately, the scenery is pleasant, and the excitement is worth it. We took the children to walk and play, and it took less than 2 hours to go back and forth.
There were some shops selling things on the top of the mountain, and there were a few trees tied with red cloth strips. We looked around for 3 minutes and started to go down the mountain. It was very easy to go down the mountain, and there were more shades from the trees. We played and laughed, and before we knew it, we were at the foot of the mountain.
You must visit Tianyou Peak and Jiuqu River in Wuyi Mountain. Tianyou Peak is steep and there are many tourists, so it takes a long time to reach the top. If the weather is hot, it is recommended to wear a hat and bring an umbrella, regardless of gender!
Self-driving tour from Guangzhou to Xiamen, Wuyishan Scenic Area is the second stop. The mountain is not high, the scenery is very beautiful, between the mountains and waters, it is refreshing. There is no sun, the breeze is very cool. It is very suitable for children who have no leg strength to enjoy. We did the slide 🙈 380 yuan per person, and 600 yuan for the top. The master worked very hard, and each person gave a 20 yuan tip. There were not many tourists and we had a lot of fun
Tianyou Peak is dangerous and difficult to climb. Locals recommend going there on the first day when you have enough energy. It turns out to be an extremely correct decision. Tianyou Peak is a one-way road with only an uphill climb. You must climb to the top of the mountain before you can continue. Be sure to be well prepared and pay attention to sun protection.
The stairs are a bit steep, so people who are afraid of heights are not suitable to climb Tianyou Peak.
There is a beverage vending machine at the entrance of the scenic area. A bottle of mineral water costs 5 yuan, and the one at the top of the mountain costs 10 yuan. Because I have poor physical strength, I walk for a while and rest for a while. It took me half a day to visit Tianyou Peak!
After entering the ticket gate of Tianyou Peak, you still need to walk a short distance on the mountain road to reach the foot of the Tianyou Peak rock. At the foot of Tianyou Peak, look up at the towering Tianyou Peak and see the peak you are about to climb.
I heard from other tour guides that the climb up is quite steep and difficult to go down the mountain, so they suggest going up from the back and slowly going down the steps.
Sure enough, after walking a few steps, we started climbing on the rocks. Along the rock wall, there were many steps carved one by one, and the slope was generally quite steep. When climbing these steps, I didn't dare to look back. Compared with ordinary mountain climbing, it was completely different. Climbing up Tianyou Peak directly along the bare rock wall was also a test.
Fortunately, after walking for a while, you can reach the half-mountain pavilion. This is half the height of the entire Tianyou Peak, where tourists can rest before continuing to the steeper rocks. Here, you can see the four, five, and six bends of Jiuqu River very beautifully, and with a wisp of cloud and mist, it seems like a fairyland. The scenery is simply too good.
After a short rest, we continued to head towards the top of the mountain. The road from the half-mountain pavilion became more and more difficult to walk, and the slope became steeper and steeper. Really, when climbing the mountain, I could only focus on the steps in front of me and didn't dare to look back at all. Along the way, I often saw streams rushing down from the mountain, along with the abandoned stone steps that were once carved.
Fortunately, after walking for about 20 minutes, we reached the top of the mountain. The scenery at the top of the mountain is also very beautiful, and you can completely overlook Jiuqu River.
I just want to ask Amanda:
Would you go to rescue someone if something happened? You have to climb even if the staff stopped you... Just be responsible for yourself and don't mislead others. I want to climb a wild mountain to show off.
You must climb the back mountain of Tianyou Peak! ! Highlight the key points! ! Climb the "non-tourist route"! ! Climb even if the staff stops you! Very interesting, this is mountain climbing, don't climb the main road. To enjoy the fun of climbing, you must climb over Jiesun Peak and Yinping Peak, and then climb up Tianyou Peak from the back. The mountain road is steep and interesting, save your energy and perform the fun of climbing. Remember to read the guide of Wuyi Mountain China-TravelNote and follow the red line in the picture! Words of experience
There is only a small train from the South Gate to Tianyou Peak, and minibuses are used to travel between other attractions.
We walked and stopped here and there, the scenery was really beautiful, but it was a bit sunny!
All the mountains look small from a glance. You can see the Jiuqu River below. This view is worth the climb!
I was touched to see many people (including the elderly and children) encouraging each other to climb to the top of the mountain. I also noticed that some people even made video calls to their family and friends to live stream the beautiful scenery of Tianyou Peak.
The Tianyou Peak we climbed is also the location for the beginning of the old version of Journey to the West. When the sky clears up after rain or the dawn breaks, you can climb to the top of the peak and look at the sea of clouds, which is like the waves of the sea, unpredictable, as if you are in the fairyland of Penglai and wandering in the palace of heaven, hence the name Tianyou. On the way to Tianyou Peak, you can see a wall engraved with the words "Fu Hu".
Standing on the Tianyou Peak and looking around, you can see floating peaks, winding mountains, and bamboo rafts swaying gently. The green mountains and clear waters of Wuyi are all in sight. It is like a natural landscape painting or a beautiful paradise on earth. It makes people feel open-minded, as if they are floating in the air and forget to go home. It is truly worthy of being the number one scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain.
Tianyou Peak, needless to say, is a must-visit place when you come to Wuyi Mountain, just like the Jiuqu River bamboo rafting. It is also the place with the most tourists. Huge crowds of people climb Tianyou and climb to the top of Tianyou Peak. You can have a panoramic view of the most beautiful scenery of the entire Wuyi Mountain, and you can also see the winding Jiuqu River. It is foggy in the early morning, and the mountains in the distance are shrouded in clouds and mist. It is so beautiful, one of the most classic peaks in Wuyi Mountain!
There are signposts at the forks in the road from Chadong to Jiesunfeng. From the ticket gate to the scenic area until Chadong, just go to the right whenever there is a fork in the road. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Chadong. It is not very far and not difficult, but there are many tourists. Chadong is actually a small flat land. There are several places here. One is the Fairy Bathing Pond, which is known as the place where the goddess takes a bath. After seeing it, you can return to this small square, or go directly to the Tianyou Tour Trail (in the direction of the blue arrow) (the hiking trail with 848 steps). Another one is to Jiesunfeng (in the direction of the red arrow). You can completely relax here because there are no forks in the road.
Going up and down along the way, I feel that as long as you are not afraid of heights, the difficulty is not too bad, it is much lower than I imagined. So if you have time, it is better to take this road. Don't go to the crowded opposite side and climb slowly. You can also appreciate Wuyi Mountain more calmly. But you do need to be careful, as some places are indeed quite steep.
The top of Tianyou Peak is full of people selling food, drinks and small commodities.
This is the essence of Wuyi Mountain. Please be careful to protect yourself from the sun when you go up the mountain in summer. Yunwo is right at the foot of the mountain.
看起來很陡峭,看起來很難爬,別被眼睛騙了,其實邊爬邊休息,真的還好,倒是一飽眼福,純天然雕刻,令人歡喜。
It's still pretty good. When I reached the top of the mountain, I could choose to go down from Taoyuan Cave halfway down the mountain to see more scenery.
Tianyou Peak is 410 meters above sea level and is located in the center of the scenic area. Below Tianyou Peak is Jiuqu River, which meanders in circles. Climbing to the top of Tianyou Peak is an ideal place to overlook the Wuyi Peaks and the clear Jiuqu River. When we reached the top of the mountain, it was still cloudy.
Tianyou Peak is the most scenic spot in Wuyi. Although it is only 400 meters above sea level, it can already overlook the surrounding mountains.
On the way to climb Tianyou Peak, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, overlook the Jiuqu River that looks like a jade belt, and enjoy the beauty of climbing in the sea of clouds.
I thought it would be a bit frustrating to encounter rain while climbing the mountain, but it was this continuous spring rain that made Wuyi Mountain as beautiful as a fairyland.
There are not many tourists, and even fewer people climbing the mountain. At the top of Tianyou Peak and at every viewing platform, there are even fewer tourists. It is a rare blessing to enjoy the famous mountain scenery without having to suffer the pain of being crowded.
When I reached the Shuiyue Pavilion halfway up the mountain and looked down, I felt that the scenery was so beautiful.
There was a particularly steep staircase, and I had to be very careful when I stepped on each step, almost without looking sideways. After I walked safely, I was delighted to find a snow-white waterfall falling from the cliff next to me.
When you reach the top of the mountain, the clouds and mist seem to be floating around you. The Jiuqu River below the mountain is sometimes clearly visible, and sometimes covered by clouds and mist. This is probably what a fairyland in a fairyland is like.
As you descend from Tianyou Peak, the slope gradually becomes gentler. Without the tension of climbing up the mountain, you can enjoy the surrounding mountains, rivers, forests and gardens to your heart's content.
Without warning, after climbing over a small hill, we suddenly came to a flat land. There were fertile fields, beautiful ponds, and neat houses. It was a dreamlike beauty. I really wanted to cry. I remember the first few minutes, standing at the entrance of this flat land, I was almost stunned.
Tianyou Peak is located in the Jiuqu River and Liuqu River of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province. Whenever the sky clears up after rain or the morning light appears, when you climb to the top of the peak and look at the sea of clouds, it is like the waves of the sea, unpredictable, as if you are in the fairyland of Penglai and wandering in the palace of heaven, hence the name "Tianyou". Tianyou Peak is divided into upper and lower parts. The upper Tianyou is near the Yilan Pavilion; the lower Tianyou is along the Humajian River after going down the rugged hill. The Yilan Pavilion of the upper Tianyou is on the edge of a cliff and perched on the top of a thousand feet. It is an excellent viewing platform for Wuyi Mountain and water. From here, leaning on the railing and looking around, you can see the vast sea of clouds, the suspended peaks, the winding Jiuqu, the bamboo rafts swinging gently, and the Wuyi Mountain and water are in full view, which makes people open-minded and forget to go home. The famous traveler Xu Xiake commented: "It is not near the river, but it can enjoy the beauty of Jiuxi. This peak should be the first." Therefore, it is known as the "No. 1 Peak in Wuyi".
It was beyond my expectation. The largest rock (mountain) in Asia. I was a little absent-minded when I climbed the 848 steps. My legs became weak and I felt nervous after climbing the steep slope. However, my willpower and self-control in the warm weather allowed me to complete the entire mountain trail. I felt a great sense of accomplishment. Before the New Year, the trees were full of red lanterns. The pink and purple flowers on the trees were real. The falling petals were so beautiful.
A must-see attraction for Wuyi Mountain. There are two commonly used mountain trails. Going up the steep slope directly is definitely very strenuous for older people. Going up the gentle slope is easier, but it is a lot of fun. The only thing you can see when climbing is the beautiful scenery of Jiuqu River, which is the best place to take pictures. If you don't want to go up the mountain, you can rest on the grass at the foot of the mountain. The whole attraction takes about an hour. The most important thing is to have fun!
Take the uphill road on the right. There are not many people along the way. The road is narrow and steep. The scenery is very good. You can have an overview of the entire Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area and Jiuqu River when you reach the top, which is quite nice.
Tianyou Peak is the most important scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain, so you must climb Tianyou Peak on the first day when you come to Wuyi.
Continue forward after crossing the Wuqu Bridge, passing Wuyi Jingshe (Zhu Xi Garden) first, and soon you will reach the scenic area ticket gate. After entering the ticket gate, there are two roads on the left and right. Tour groups usually take the left, but relying on my intuition about the path, I decisively passed through Huihui Cave on the right and went forward. Passing Jule Cave and Shuiyue Pavilion, the roadside is the cliff connecting Sun Peak and Yinping Peak. After passing "Zhengrong Shensuo", you will enter "Chadong". Here you can first explore "Xianyutan" and then climb Tianyou Peak. Along the way, you can watch the changing scenery of mountains and rivers as the mountain rises. The half-mountain pavilion is one of the best places to take photos in Wuyi Mountain. Then you can go to the top of the peak and overlook the surrounding peaks and streams. There is Tianyou Temple on the top of the peak, which enshrines Peng Zu. On the right side of Tianyou Temple is the downhill road, which is called "Humajian" and "Qiquqiu". There are very wonderful cliff carvings on the cliffs along the way.
On the way down the mountain, after passing Zhongzheng Park, we headed to Taoyuan Cave.
Here you can feel what "a thousand-foot-high cliff" means. The core area of Wuyi Mountain, from the top of the mountain you can overlook the Jiuqu River below.
There is no point in climbing to the top. It is more beautiful to see Jiuqu River halfway up the mountain.
This scenic spot is the best and most important place in Wuyi Mountain. Although climbing the mountain is a bit dangerous and tiring, you can take pictures of many different places and relatively excellent pictures of Jiuqu River at every step. Of course, the weather is also very important.
Take the scenic sightseeing bus to Tianyou Peak Station, walk for 15 to 20 minutes on the flat road, and start climbing. Tianyou Peak is not high, but it is very steep and the road is narrow. If there is sun, it will be more physically demanding. It takes about 30 minutes to climb up. There is a small open space on the way with a good angle for taking pictures. You can see Jiuqu River and Shuangru Peak and Bijia Peak. The angle of the top of the mountain is also very good and more open. The road down the mountain is easy to walk and cool... Looking at Tianyou Peak on the bamboo raft in Jiuqu River, you can see very smooth cliffs, which is very magnificent.
I personally think that Tianyou Peak Scenic Area is the most worthwhile scenic area to visit in Wuyi Mountain. There is a local saying that "If you don't climb Tianyou, it's a waste of time." It is located at the fifth and sixth bends of Jiuqu River, the center of the scenic area. After entering, you can take a sightseeing bus to get there. Generally, you go up the front mountain and down the back mountain, but the road to Tianyou Peak is steep and it takes half a day to visit. It consumes a lot of physical energy. In fact, the height is not very high, mainly because there are too many tourists and it is difficult to walk. The back mountain of Tianyou can reach Dongyuan Cave, which is more beautiful in spring, but you can give up at other times. Tianyou Peak can see different scenery at different heights, and overlooking Jiuqu River from a high place is an excellent place to shoot the spectacular scenery of Wuyi Mountain. Many landscape blockbusters are shot from this location.
The business card and landmark of Wuyi Mountain, the picture on the ticket is Tianyou Peak. The best place to take photos of Tianyou Peak is the Yinping Peak opposite.
Tianyou Peak is one of the most worth climbing peaks in Wuyi Mountain. The scenery above is the landmark of Wuyi Mountain! If you are brave enough, it is also good to climb the opposite Yinping Peak.
Walking from Tianyou Peak to Taoyuan Cave is a good experience
This is the core scenic spot of Wuyi Mountain, it is still worth a visit
Tianyou Peak Scenic Area is the most perfect scenic area combining mountains and water, nature and culture in Wuyi Mountain. It is located in the center of the entire Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area.
Tianyou Peak is located in the north of the Liuqu River on the Jiuqu River in Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Province. From here, you can overlook the vast sea of clouds, suspended peaks, winding Jiuqu River, and bamboo rafts. The Wuyi Mountains and waters are in full view, which makes people feel open-minded and forget to go home.
The famous traveler Xu Xiake commented: "This peak is not near a stream, but it can fully enjoy the beauty of the nine streams. It should be the first." Therefore, it is called "the first peak of Wuyi".
If you don’t climb Tianyou, you haven’t really been to Wuyi. The wonders of nature have gifted us with beautiful scenery.
Tianyou Peak is the iconic and most scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. It is over 400 meters above sea level. Although it is not too high, it is not easy to climb. During the peak tourist season of holidays and Golden Week, this scenic spot is very crowded. You can't see the top of the mountain along the way, but only a group of people. I found that many people turned back halfway. It is recommended to go there in the off-season, and go up the front road and down the back road.
Tianyou Peak Scenic Area, June 9, 2016, Wuyi Mountain.
It is truly a classic among classics. You can’t experience it unless you climb up. I highly recommend it.
It seems to be in a fairyland, traveling in the heaven, hence the name "Tianyou".
Braving the light rain, the tour guide said that the scenery halfway up the mountain is the most beautiful. When I climbed up, I was immediately moved. It was shrouded in mist and was very beautiful.
Tianyou Peak Scenic Area is a scenic spot in Wuyi Mountain that requires a lot of physical strength. Because you have to climb the mountain, you must pay attention to the itinerary. If you are not physically fit, you will not have the energy to visit the following attractions after climbing Tianyou Peak.
The mountain is not high, but the beautiful scenery is enough! In the morning, the mountain was surrounded by clouds and mist.
Tianyou Peak, haha, first of all, there were so many people, like a group of ants, never underestimate the Chinese people's passion for tourism. There were so many people, so it took an hour to climb up, walking and stopping, people always stopped to take pictures, the hiking trail of Tianyou Peak is a one-way street, but there were people going down the mountain in the opposite direction, I was drunk. But then again, I didn't feel tired climbing so slowly.
Looking down from the observation deck of Tianyou Peak, you can see the winding Jiuqu River and the gently swaying bamboo rafts. The whole Wuyi Mountain and water are in full view, which makes people feel open-minded and forget to go home. Unfortunately, it just rained heavily yesterday, and the green Jiuqu River became the Jiuqu "Yellow River". The famous traveler Xu Xiake commented: "This peak should be the first because it is not near the river but can enjoy the beauty of the Jiuqu River." Therefore, Tianyou Peak is known as "the first peak of Wuyi".
