Bay Park

The Bay Park is located between the west sea of Xiamen and the Yuandang Lake. It is divided into the North Park and the South Park by the Avenue of Stars, and faces Gulangyu Island across the sea.
The "Avenue of Stars" is the biggest highlight of the park. It is equipped with many LED floor lights, and fountains are turned on during major festivals, which is very spectacular.
It is recommended to go there at night to see the night view. The nearby bar street is a favorite of bar goers, where you can enjoy the sea breeze, drink beer and enjoy the band performances.
This is also the only park in Xiamen with an amusement park, with exciting rides such as bungee jumping and space travel, making it a great place to bring children.
The fountain is open from 9am to 11am, 3pm to 5pm, and 7pm to 9pm.

Unlike other parks, this park does not have boundaries. When you walk nearby and ask, passers-by will point to the main park. As soon as you enter, you will see a non-spraying pool.

When you walk in, you will find a green space that looks like a small mound, just like the Duishan Park in Gendu. The difference is that the small mound in the Bay Park can be climbed up through four long steps, so the night view may be more beautiful at night.

When you walk to the other side of the Bay Park, you will find a long straight avenue, where most people are skateboarding, chasing and playing, and walking their children.

When you reach the end of the road, you will understand why this park is called "Hai" Bay Park, because what immediately comes into your sight is the sea of Xiamen (just made up) hahahaha, anyway, you can see the sea.

The panoramic view of the coastal side of the Bay Park not only shows the iconic buildings of Xiamen opposite, but also many large ships, such as those used for industrial purposes, which are docked not far from the shore. It seems that this sea area is quite deep.

Everyone walked and sat on the steps, and there were almost no people below the steps, only a few fishermen and people taking pictures.

By Chasing dreams |

The sea was foggy in the morning, and the tall buildings in the distance were all hidden in the fog, making it difficult to see clearly. Looking at the map, it shows that this is a bay as the name suggests, and it is quite far from the estuary.

According to my observation, the white little fellow should be the egret that has lived in Xiamen since ancient times. The sky is covered by thick clouds, with only a little blue showing through the gaps. The weather here is not very good, and the sightseeing cruise ship is moving slowly on the sea.

Most people will watch the sunset at the seaside of Huandao Road, so places where tourists gather are naturally not our first choice. There is a place called Bay Park within walking distance of our hotel, which is a great viewing point for both sunset and night view. It is located between Zhongshan Road and the Xiamen-Guangzhou Wharf of the Cruise Center. The best time to take photos is around 5pm.

By Breathe |

There are reeds, lotus flowers and small fish in the pond in the park. I like it very much. The seaside scenery is very good

By Bai Xubo |

It is a good place to watch the sunset on Xiamen Island, but unfortunately the skyline on the other side is quite ordinary. The square is quite large, with some restaurants and bars in the southwest corner.

By Ouch |

In summer, many people come here to enjoy the cool air and chat. Haicang is across the sea, and the night view and lighting are nice.

Bay Park is a city park built on the seaside. There is nothing special about it. It just impressed me that it was very clean and tidy. There are some bars in the park, but it was very quiet when we went there. There were basically no people.

By Su Xiaoxue |

The park is well built. At the end, you will reach the sea. There are many tall and sturdy trees planted in the park.

By Small fish |

It's not actually small, but I didn't walk around much. The sun was too strong. It was noon when I went there. I was so tanned that I walked to the beach from the main road in the middle, took two photos and ran away.

A park sandwiched between Yuandang Lake and the sea, it is a great place to sit and enjoy the sea view and the sea breeze at night.

The Macau Peninsula is one of the four parts of Macau. It is the main settlement of Macau residents and the earliest developed area in Macau, with a history of more than 400 years. The Historic Center of Macau located on the Macau Peninsula was officially listed as a World Cultural Heritage in 2005. The Macau Peninsula was originally an island, but due to the sediment brought by the upper reaches of the West River, a north-south sandbank was formed, making this small island a peninsula connected to the mainland.

The Bay Park is actually a place where Xiamen citizens can take a leisurely walk at night. You can see the sea view and there are many children flying kites. I was lucky and arrived at exactly seven o'clock. I saw the sunset, which was very beautiful. I sat there and enjoyed the breeze.

By Lei Bijia |

There is a fountain square in the Bay Park. If you come at night, there will be a light show, which is very beautiful. Unfortunately, I arrived during the day and did not see it. Friends who are interested can go for a night tour.

Opposite the Bay Park is Bailuzhou Park. Since I was not very interested in parks, I did not go in. It is said to be a large activity venue for local people.

By ask |

There is a Bay Park not far from the Xiagu Wharf. The environment is good and there are very few people. The scenery is great. It is quite large and has rowing and children's play facilities. There is also a sand pool for children to dig sand on the beach, which is really nice.

By Natural Curl |

It is a good place to take children on weekends. You can watch the sea and play by the sea. There are children's play facilities. Flying kites or setting up tents are all good weekend activities.

By Water is flowing |

The Bay Park is very large and the night view is said to be beautiful, but I have a special liking for the bunny ears of the Twin Towers, so I did not stay there to wait. Across the road is the Yundang Lake, where you can see egrets from time to time, which is the origin of Xiamen's nickname, Egret Island.

By Between Water and Clouds |

Close to Xiagu Wharf, adjacent to Yundang Lake, across from Haicang, clean and tidy, with a wide view, it is a good place for leisure and sports

By nixing |

Will all the bars on the beach be rebuilt? Or will they cease to exist? Photo taken on 20171224

By Garfield |

The scenery is average, it can't be compared with Xiamen University White City, it's okay to just walk around

By Rabbit is a cat |

Entering from the side door of Bay Park, the Bay Park is lit with twinkling lights, reflecting the cleanliness of this city. People walking in the park are also walking towards home, and we are just in time to enjoy the quietness.

The Bay Park is located on the west side of Hubin West Road on Xiamen Island, between the western sea area of Xiamen and Yuandang Lake. From the park, you can overlook the sea to the west, Yuandang Lake and Bailuzhou Park to the east, and the Haicang Bridge to the northwest.

Looking at the city from across the sea is a unique experience. My bestie and I met a professional photographer. The photos were taken by the photographer.

Bay Park is located on the west side of Hubin West Road on Xiamen Island, between the western sea area of Xiamen and Yuandang Lake. The park covers a total area of 200,100 square meters and has a flat terrain. From the park, you can overlook the sea to the west, Yuandang Lake and Bailuzhou Park to the east, Haicang Bridge to the northwest, and the beautiful Gulangyu Island is also within sight.

By Born to Travel |

An open park near Dongdu. If you go to the pier, you can walk there. The park is not small and you can see Haicang and Haicang Bridge on the opposite bank from a distance.

By ☀The sun is shining✿ |

It's just a park. On the way to the Little Eyes food stall, I played there. It's mainly at night, as it's a bar street.

By Xiapu Linsheng |

Bay Park is also a good place to watch the sea, but I recommend coming to the small seaside bar here after 9pm, ordering a cocktail, watching the performance, and listening to the sound of the waves that seem to be right next to your ears, and you will feel that this is the most romantic thing.

By Yasuyuki |

There is a direct bus that gets off at the entrance of the Bay Park. First, you have to cross a path made of stars. Along the avenue by the sea, there is an open bar street. The most beautiful place in Xiamen at night, there is no minimum consumption, you can stay all night with a drink, haha, tonight is destined to be a sleepless night. Beautiful women are singing, and everyone in the band will sing. The songs are very nice and very comfortable. When the songs are HI, you can dance to your heart's content and slow-rock. I like this kind of open bar, with live music, sea breeze, friends to chat with, and wine. It is very happy, very romantic, and very stylish.

By sarah |

In Xiamen, you can come to the Bay Park in your spare time, enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset and the rolling clouds. In such a beautiful scenery, you just want to be in a daze, immerse yourself in it, and forget everything. You can also drink a little wine and listen to music after nightfall. There are many open-air bars with good resident singers. If you are confident, you can also sing a few songs yourself. According to the type of bar, the consumption is not high, but this kind of music bar is more suitable for a relaxing and quiet night. It is worth recommending.

By Wang Xiaoan |

I think more locals come here.

Very suitable for bringing children.

There is a playground, a seaside boardwalk, and a sandy beach (although the sand is much coarser than that on Baicheng Beach).

The baby can still play very well.

By Tianjie Light Rain |

We were also brought here by a tour group, and it feels better this time!

By summer0202 |

The scenery is nice and the transportation is convenient, which is especially suitable for slow living and moving slowly.

By jkmeil |

Bay Park is a free attraction and a great place to watch the sunset. There is also a musical fountain in the park. There are few people in the park, so it does not give people a sense of tranquility.

By To the Faraway Place |

If you are tired of sea view.

If you are tired of visiting fresh shops.

Then come and take a look around here.

This is a free city park.

It is close to Xiamen Dongdu Wharf. The transportation to here is very convenient.

By Amy🌸 |

The scenery is pretty good, there are some amusement parks, artificial beaches, a whole row of bars and performances at night

By I want to defeat the monster |

Maybe it’s because we went there during the day and didn’t walk the whole way. The Bay Park felt like a park during the day, but at night it was said to be full of neon lights and a bar street. Anyway, if you want to go, you’d better plan to go at night!

By Shan |

The environment is good, quiet and comfortable during the day, and the bar street is very lively at night!

By Monkey climbs a tree 🐒 |

It's like a leisure club. It's close to the sea and you can see the whole place. It's nice.

By Libra |

I have lived in Xiamen for several years. When I have nothing to do, I go to listen to the sound of the waves 🌊 and sit in the pavilion to watch the sunset 🌞.

By Wu Trouble |

The Bay Park has a clear and concise structure, using terrain and plants to create strong and concise spatial changes. At the same time, it is closely connected with the external environment, making it one of the most popular parks in Xiamen.

By Liao V Yin |

No tickets are required unless you want to play motorized sports. I personally think that the sunset at Bay Park is super beautiful. There is a small beach, and there is a row of very attractive seaside bars and western restaurants on the shore! ! ! It is so beautiful and petty bourgeoisie. While watching the sunset, drinking beer, eating steak, and chatting with friends~~ There is also a resident singer at 8:30 in the evening, needless to say, you know it!!! There is also a musical fountain in the park, but maybe the time is wrong, we didn't see it, haha. And there are very few tour groups in Bay Park, so it doesn't feel crowded.

By W_sh |

A scene of a harbor city, ships coming and going, lighthouses... It's very comfortable to take a break in the long pavilion in the park and enjoy the sea breeze~

By Ordinary Cake |

The Bay Park is actually very similar to an ordinary seaside park, and there are bars and the like, but I didn't go in to see them. From the Bay Park, you can see the Haicang Bridge, which is smaller than I thought, but it is also a good place for a walk. Sitting on the steps by the sea, blowing the sea breeze, listening to the music from the bar, it is quite comfortable, but the steps under my butt are hot.

By masonzhy |

We walked to the Bay Park, which was really beautiful and refreshing. There were all kinds of bars with bright lights and couples walking in groups. Looking at the mainland on the other side, the irritability of being exposed to the sun all at once disappeared, and I was in a good mood. We stayed on the dam for a long time, and Niuniu even took me to see the Big Dipper (the first time I saw it)~

By Lin Ruomeng |

The Bay Park starts to get lively in the evening. After dinner, city residents come here in groups to take a walk and look at the sea.

A little later, the bars on the beach will open one after another, so~~ the rhythm of high~

Then there are several large amusement facilities that will be open at this time, such as Sky Rush. You can hear the screams of people playing from a long distance. It is still very fresh and exciting to play such things at night. If you are timid, just watch it. Hahahaha.

You can see a lot of people swimming here, jumping into the sea from time to time. I heard people on the shore say that some people who are good at swimming have to swim to Baicheng Beach before going ashore! 3-5 kilometers, brother, this is in the sea. I feel tired just walking!

The sea breeze is blowing, and I don't want to go back... What should I do T^T

I didn’t take many photos, but I’ll just give you a feel for it~ It’s a great location to take a walk after dinner!

By Yvonne |

The bar is nice. It would be great if you could sit down and have a drink.

I think this place is more suitable for viewing in the evening, just like Jinji Lake in Suzhou, it must be very peaceful and beautiful.

By Branded in my heart |

I think the Bay Park is good overall because there are few people and the environment is really good. It is the place with the least people in Xiamen. The scenery is good. You can see Gulangyu Island and face Gulangyu Island across the sea. In fact, I think the route is to go straight up from Zhongshan Road (my sense of direction is not good). I prefer places with few people. I go out just to enjoy a moment of tranquility. This place is very quiet and there is no ticket. You can take pictures and play as much as you want when there are few people. I think it is the best choice to go to places with few people in Xiamen.

By Li Xiaomei |

I accidentally entered this park while riding my bike today. The environment is beautiful and suitable for a picnic on the lawn. There are dolphins in the sea.

By Travel |

It was cold on a rainy day, and it was daytime, so there were not many people and it was quite deserted.

By Princess Yuming |

I read reviews from travellers online, saying that the night view here is beautiful and the bars are very lively at night. However, I went at the wrong time. When I arrived at the Bay Park, it was still dark, the bars were not open yet, and there were few people in the park. In addition, there was a strong wind warning in Xiamen that day, and the wind was super strong. I was a little scared to wander around the park by myself. I finally waited until it was dark, looked at the night view, and fled. It is a very large park, and it should be very lively at night.

By Rice laugh |

Bay Park is right next to Coffee Street, where there are also many bars. However, feeling the cool breeze at night, taking a walk along the river, looking at the dim lights on the opposite side, and thinking that the few-day trip will end so soon, I still feel reluctant.

Xiamen Bay Park is located on the west side of Hubin West Road, Xiamen, between the west sea area of Xiamen and Yundang Lake. The park has a total area of 200,100 square meters and is flat. From the park, you can overlook the sea to the west, Yundang Lake and Bailuzhou Park to the east, Haicang Bridge to the northwest, and the beautiful Gulangyu Island is also within sight. In terms of landscape design, the park is divided into seven major scenic areas: Heaven Garden, Earth Garden, Forest Garden, Grass Garden, Water Garden, Coastal Scenery and Avenue of Stars, and is divided into North Garden and South Garden by the Avenue of Stars.

The Bay Park has an amusement park and a bar street. It is a great place to watch the sunset. If it is low tide, you can take pictures of egrets. The Bay Park connects to Yundang Lake. The photo was taken on the overpass on Lakeside West Road. After crossing the overpass, you will reach the coffee street.

You can find a place to have dinner (it is recommended to try vegetarian food) or take a rest, and then find any corner to take photos, of course, you must get the consent of others first.

Looking at the beach at night, with crowds of tourists, drinking draft beer, feeling the sea breeze, and gazing at Gulangyu Island opposite, it is so pleasant!

By Too lazy to lose weight ❤ meat |

We went to the Bay Park (which not many people know about). The park was very quiet. Walking towards the beach, there were some very artistic open-air seaside bars on both sides, with live bands singing. I recommend the one I went to. I remember it was the last one on the right. There was a band singing and the cocktails were delicious. I remember they were blue. I recommend it.

By Sunny. Shizuko |

We went there in the afternoon and there was basically no one there. It was nice to walk around and sit there, and take some photos.

By Happy foodie Meimei |

If you want to get into the daily life of Xiamen people, the Bay Park is not to be missed.

The sea area of the Bay Park has the prosperity of Haicang District on the opposite bank, or the sparkling waves at high tide and sunset, or the golden mudflats at low tide.

By Moon House |

Bay Park is an open park. The most beautiful things here are the night view, the fountain, and the bar street along the coast.

By Sweet Rumors |

Apart from the tropical plants that show that this is the seaside, the rest of the layout is really similar to the river beach in Wuhan, the key is that there is no beach...

By Mei Xiaomei |

It was too dark to take a picture of the sea. The sea is on the left side of the table in the photo. You can sit indoors or outdoors, but most people choose to sit outdoors, facing the sea, drinking and singing, hahahaha~~~ I ordered a non-alcoholic mojito, and the waiter confirmed with me several times, embarrassing~~

Sitting on the beach, feeling the breeze, drinking a little wine and listening to the backing song, I knew I had no worries at all.

By mother |

Walk to the Bay Park. When it is not sunny, the Bay Park should be the most beautiful park in Xiamen. You can see the panoramic view of the surrounding area when you walk up the Tuqiu Terrace. The sea breeze is very strong, and I am a little afraid of heights...

By Xuan Xiaoleilei |

It's not far from Yuandang Road, you can go for a walk~ Some people are swimming here~~~~~~~~~~

By Insect Tree |

I haven't been there during the day, but I went there at night. The night view is still very good, the photo effect is also excellent, and there are not many people.

By Rabbit Helmet |

Bay Park is on the seaside, free of charge, less crowded, relatively clean, you can watch the sea, or fly a kite, the recommended index is 3 stars~

By Eight Thousand Miles of Clouds and Moon |

Binhai Park, the park itself is a bit like Houhai, with some bars facing the sea, but nothing special other than that.

By Coobi |

It is very beautiful here at night. It is very beautiful when the lights are turned on. There are also bars and performance streets around it, so it is very prosperous.

By Swaying in the summer |

Gulangyu Island is nice. Although I once wanted to come here with someone I like, it’s also nice to come here with good friends.

By Butterfly Dance |

Later we went to Bayfront Park. It has a very modern design style. I like it very much~~~~~~~~

By Xiao Xi-Ran-W |

It is actually a bar street. It is completely different from the bar streets in Beijing. The first impression is that it is grand, with a large stage, lighting and sound effects that can hold a small live concert, and the bands are also passionate.

By the way, you can also take a look at the night view of the seaside, which is also very beautiful, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy the night of Xiamen.

By CHAO_s |

When I got off the bus, I unexpectedly discovered the beautiful night view across the park. I was very tired after visiting the Bay Park.

By honeydew |

There are bars, trees, grass, beaches, and seaside here. It has a clean and relaxing subtropical environment. I stroll here quietly by myself, watching the scenery, the sunset, and the night view.

By Jiying |

At night we went to the Bay Park to experience Xiamen's nightlife

Most of the bars in Bay Park are open-air. You can come here to have a drink at night, enjoy the sea view and listen to the live performances of foreign bands. There are many foreigners here, and one of them is a live performance by a band from the Philippines.

By Dalasi |

The most beautiful park in Xiamen. Go there to watch the sunrise. Many locals are running. It shows that they are very perseverant.

Come to the Seaside Park in the evening to watch the sunset. The scenery is so beautiful!

Bay Park is also a good place to watch the sea, but I recommend coming to the small seaside bar here after 9pm, ordering a cocktail, watching the performance, and listening to the sound of the waves that seem to be right next to your ears, and you will feel that this is the most romantic thing.

I walked to the Bay Park at noon. There were few people there and it was very beautiful. It seemed that the people there lived a very leisurely life.

By Lу.х" |

We decided to go to the most beautiful park in Xiamen, Haiwan Park, to watch the sunset. There were many locals jogging along this road, which showed that they were very determined.

By Smile Ice |

Bayfront Park is the closest park to where we live.

It is said that the night view of Bay Park is the most beautiful, but unfortunately we came during the day. There is a bar street by the sea, and the open-air barbecue restaurants look very romantic. They are basically closed during the day. It should be very pleasant to come here at night to enjoy the sea breeze, taste a little wine, and eat some barbecue.
