I went there on May Day, thinking I would find a place that is not too popular to visit, but I was disappointed, the weather was not good. You have to clean the table and sweep the floor by yourself, and go to the kitchen to grab the dishes by yourself. You also had to wait for a long time. The fried oysters I ordered had almost no oysters in them, and the seaweed oyster pot was even worse, with no oysters and only seaweed. I also ordered a boiled shrimp, which was said to be wild, and a soy sauce squid, one fish in three ways. I was so angry that I spent 600 yuan. It was really a waste of money.

There is no fine sandy beach in Moon Bay. If you don't wear shoes, you will get your feet cut. Shell fragments and broken glass can be seen everywhere. There is no clear sea water either, it is very turbid. What I can boast is that I did see tourists who bought rain boots, small buckets and shovels to dig up crabs, small fish and shrimps.

The entire island is basically undeveloped, it's just a fishing village, and the attractions are not interesting. Disappointed

First take the bus to Dadeng, then take a boat to Xiaodeng. The island is relatively primitive, with no attractions to see and not many tourists.

At the pier of Dadeng Island, take a 10-yuan electric car to Xiaodeng Island. Looking at the Xiang'an New District opposite along the beach, the blue sea and blue sky, the mood is also great! Arriving at Xiaodeng Island, it can't be said to be very beautiful, but it does have the feeling of a small fishing village. Nowadays, the seaside is full of tourists and is very commercialized. This quiet beauty is very comfortable. The sea and the sky here are very good. Strolling on the beach, strolling in the town, and strolling in the woods. They all give people a sense of tranquility and comfort. If you haven't been to Taiwan yet and are interested in Taiwanese seaside towns other than Taipei, you can come here to experience it. You can catch crabs and small fish on the beach of Xiaodeng Island, and there are a lot of them. It also reflects the good environment of this place from the side. Xiaodeng Island is much more interesting than Dadeng Island. There won't be too much time for tourism. You can walk all over the island in two and a half hours. It is not recommended to take the electric car of Xiaodeng Island. It's too hasty. For a small village like this, you should walk to feel it. Being used to seeing tall buildings in the city, even the earthen buildings here look very special.

We hired a sightseeing car and a driver who was also a tour guide. It took more than an hour for us to play and talk. What impressed me most was the sea of ​​Xiaodeng Island. It experiences ebb and flow of tides every day. When we first landed on the island, it was low tide. Various piles and racks on the sea were exposed. The tour guide said that these were used to grow oysters and kelp, and there were many creatures that could be dug on the beach. At night, the tide returned everything to the sea!

We got off the bus near Dadeng Island and took the sightseeing bus to Xiaocheng Island. The sea breeze was very comfortable. It was low tide when we went there. The tour guide said that we would go to cast nets to catch crabs first. I have to say that the weather was really good. It was cloudy. We went to Haikou to cast nets. The fishermen put in smelly fish and said they were for catching crabs. We cast our own nets and everyone had a number plate. We would collect the nets in the afternoon.

Next, everyone went to the fisherman's house to get rain boots, buckets and small shovels to go to the beach to catch small crabs. The tools are charged 10 yuan per person. It is recommended to catch them on the rocks on the beach. It is super fun. It feels like there are basically all kinds of crabs, just different sizes. The fishermen will also dig up the big rocks and catch the big crabs hiding under them.

It was my first time here, and overall it was very interesting. The residents on the island were very enthusiastic, and the tour guide was very nice. When the seven of us left, the tour guide gave the driver a tip to let us leave early. The lunch was very rich, all seafood. The experience of catching crabs on the beach was very interesting, highly recommended 👍

The scenery is OK. I paid 288/person for a one-day tour. It is not worth the price. The marine resources given by nature have no cost. There is little seafood for lunch. There are no cultural spots on the island. It is very boring.

The main attraction of Xiaodeng is its proximity to Kinmen. The island is covered with bamboo rafts for drying seaweed. Villagers still live on the island, and public service facilities are not good enough. It can be seen that the focus of the tourism management department and the residents on the island is not here.

This is one of the places closest to Kinmen from the mainland of China. There is no direct vehicle. You need to take a car to Dadeng Island and then take a boat from Dadeng Pier.

This outer island is highly recommended. It is better to go there during the off-season, for example after the National Day, which is around mid-to-late October.

If you are on the island, go out after 5pm when the light is more suitable for taking pictures. You can take a sightseeing electric car around the island (it is not big), and then choose a suitable place to take pictures, such as the sunset. Of course, you can also get up the next day to take pictures of the sunrise.
