Zhenhai Cape

If you want to see the romantic sea view and feel the spring flowers blooming facing the sea, you must not miss Zhenhai Cape near Xiamen.
Cape Zhenhai is a protruding land on the seashore of Zhenhaiwei. There are two very popular lighthouses here, one new and one old. The new one is still in use and the old one has been abandoned. This is also the dividing line between the Yellow Sea and the South China Sea.
Arriving at Zhenhai Cape, you will see a 300-degree sea view in front of you, a meadow full of flowers under your feet, and a red and white lighthouse in the distance... It is fresh and poetic, as if you are in a movie.

It is half an hour’s bus ride from Tan Kah Kee College.

It’s not too far. There is a detailed route guide at the bottom~

The chart was beyond my expectation.

The gentle afternoon light pours into the house from the French windows.

The lively wind from the seaside rushed into my arms from the green gauze

You squinted your eyes because of the light and my hair was messed up by the wind

Cape Zhenhai is a very suitable place to watch the sunrise and sunset. There are not many people here. You can chat casually in the sea breeze, and run and laugh on the black rocks.

Sitting side by side on the rocks

Listen to the sea waves chattering

Occasionally, a egret is seen hurrying along.

But it is recommended to bring your own dry food. The surrounding shops are relatively ordinary, and the convenience store is also far away. It is still recommended to stay in Zhenhai Cape for a night to watch the sunrise. The next day, I was gently awakened by the morning light, and the warm orange light slanted in. The scene was so beautiful that I couldn't bear to blink.

Little tips:

1) Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College North/Central Bus Stop

Take bus No. 605 and arrive at Zhenhai Station in about 30 minutes

After you get off the bus, an uncle will wave to you.

Just one more, ten bucks each, are you going or not?

Or walk 2km to reach the destination.

Personal advice:

If you are not in a hurry, you can walk slowly into the village.

The architecture in the village is amazing too!

p.s.

Bus route 605 departure timetable

07:30 08:00 08:40 09:20

09:50 10:30 11:10 11:40

12:20 13:00 13:40 14:20

15:00 15:40 16:20 17:00

17:30 18:05

The departure time refers to the departure from Zhangzhou Port

For example, bus No. 605 departs at 13:00 and arrives at the North District at about 13:30.

The bus that leaves at 13:40 arrives at the North District at about 14:10.

2) Charter

(100-120 RMB for the whole journey) The journey takes about 20-30 minutes

(40RMB for a motorcycle)

2019.1.25~At Xiamen Tourist Passenger Terminal, I bought a boat ticket to Zhangzhou. I only needed to swipe my ID card to enter! It was very convenient. After arriving, I walked to the bus station and took bus 605, which runs every 30 minutes, and got off at Zhenhai Station. The scenery is still good~ If you are not traveling by car or have a motorcycle, you will have to work harder~ It takes about half an hour to walk to the lighthouse. The scenery along the way is still OK~ Mainly because of the great weather! You can also see the sunset and the starry sky. There are not many restaurants here, so it is best to prepare more dry food to prevent hunger.

Cape Zhenhai on a cloudy day, just adjust the color a little bit and the feeling comes out! You say, if there is light, it will be so great!!!

From this angle, it really looks like Kenting!

This car on the corner of Zhenhai is very famous! Actually, it is a small shop opened by a brother who sells grilled sausages. He drives here and drives back every day! It specializes in grilled sausages, drinks, etc. But if you want to take pictures here, you must buy his things. I bought 2, 3 yuan each, not expensive, just in time, I was really hungry, and I had a lot of fun eating!

This place is only suitable for taking pictures! So please go when the sun is shining, otherwise you will be disappointed. In addition, the wind was so strong that I was blown confused, so I left after playing for a short time!

Haystack, lighthouse, sea, swing, cattle grazing...

This is Zhenhai Cape, the filming location of the TV series "Flowers Along the Way". When Zhenhai Cape, known as Little Kenting, appeared in front of me, when the scenes in the Taiwanese idol dramas were truly presented in front of me, I was in a state of emptiness and daze, it was so beautiful that I was suffocating💘

By Zhang Xiaoke |

When we arrived at Zhenhai Cape, we encountered a fantastic celestial phenomenon. Zhenhai Cape is a crocodile mouth protruding into the sea, surrounded by high cliffs, and the sea water is beating against the cliffs below.

Without this lighthouse standing on the cliff, even with the blue sea and blue sky, it would become dull and ordinary. There is nothing special about the lighthouse, and ordinary is more suitable for this place.

Zhenhaiwei, one of the four major forts that once resisted Japanese pirates, is nearby. Now it has long been submerged by chaotic residential houses and everything has returned to normal. In this harbor that has once been a sea of water, I gaze quietly, letting my thoughts spread and my concerns blend.

By Yi Xiaoxia |

Just hearing the name already made my heart beat fast. At that time, I heard that there was a lighthouse, green land, herds of cattle, sandy beaches and black reefs, and most importantly, it was an undeveloped island. I thought it was extremely romantic, the kind of comfortable, undisturbed beauty, it could be said to be a very pristine Xiamen sea.

When I saw the sea and the green grass in the distance, I wanted to jump out of the car to take pictures. It was so beautiful. I finally came to Kenting, which I had been thinking about. Please forgive me for not being reserved. This island must be magical. It makes people very happy.

The wind at the beach was stronger than we thought, and it made my hair messy... I wanted to let my hair down, but I had to tie it into a braid. Many friends told me that taking photos is very tiring, but after the whole process, I not only didn't feel tired, but also felt that I hadn't finished it.

Countless stars are twinkling on the sea surface under the sun, the sea breeze with the fragrance of green grass blows up the light skirt, and the red and white lighthouse is always waiting for the ships in the distance. These scenes seem like the plot in a movie, and even the cattle on the pasture on the shore look super cute.

When the tide recedes, large black reefs gradually appear, like solidified waves, mysterious and unpredictable, covered with oysters and shells. Local aunties in twos and threes are collecting oysters with small sickles, probably to make fried oysters; in the place closest to the sea, the surging waves hit the huge reefs, and the pearls scattered all over the ground are really beautiful.

Because there are relatively few tourists here, there is not much garbage on the beach, it is very clean, and from a distance it feels a bit like a paradise on earth.

【Game Tips】

Because this place has not been developed into a scenic spot, there are not many homestays and restaurants, and the service facilities are also very poor. There is no toilet on the beach, and you need to go to a restaurant far away to borrow one. It is recommended to bring your own food and drink less water.

In addition, if you want to take pictures of the volcanic black reefs, you need to go down a very steep cliff. There is a small path that has been trampled out by many people. It will be a little easier to walk on. But be careful, it is easy to fall.

【About transportation】

If you are going on a one-day trip to Zhenhai Cape, it is recommended to drive or carpool here, which will save a lot of time. The navigation can directly guide you here, and you can just follow the road signs. Although there are many boat options, it feels a bit complicated to go back and forth, so it is not recommended for people with poor directions.

Here is a route: Xiamen Tongyi Wharf - Zhangzhou Port - Passenger Station - Baitang Direction (get off at Zhenhai Village). The whole journey takes about 2 hours. The boat ticket and bus ticket cost about 20 yuan in total. After getting off the bus, just follow the signs and walk.

By Xizhuier |

With the sea on three sides and mountains on one side, Zhenhai Cape can be said to be an ideal photo-taking spot.

The weather in Zhenhai Cape is unpredictable. I experienced heavy rain, cloudy and sunny weather within 4 hours. Remember to bring an umbrella and apply sunscreen.

Avoiding the peak tourist season, the Zhenhai Cape in early autumn has withered grass and yellow trees and cloudy sky, which makes it look unlike the blue sea and sky as imagined, but the Zhenhai Cape is so beautiful.

By 貓貓妮 |

Attractions: After reading the comments of beekeepers, I almost cried when I saw "Little Kenting". I saved it a little with a filter. Maybe the scenery in November is destined to be desolate. It was really desolate with weeds all the way. The wind was a little strong, but it wouldn't be so sunny in this season.

Transportation: It is about 9 kilometers from the signpost of Zhenhai Cape to the parking lot of the scenic spot, and about 1 kilometer from the parking lot to the lighthouse. It is more convenient to drive by yourself. There are sightseeing buses and off-road vehicles to take you from the parking lot to the destination.

Zhenhai Cape is an undeveloped scenic spot. Villagers have demarcated the land here, built some food stalls and displayed some stalls, where one has to pay before sitting on them and taking pictures.

By Pink Lollipop |

About an hour's drive from downtown Xiamen, there is an original wild scenic spot - Zhenhai Cape, which retains the original style of the Cape Peninsula. It is a little remote and the surrounding facilities are not very complete, but parking is quite convenient. In early summer, the grass is green, surrounded by the sea on three sides, the black reef beach after the volcanic eruption on the shore, and the red and white lighthouse are fresh and romantic. Walking on the grass slope on the cliff, the sea breeze blows, and the eyes are full of literary and healing scenery.

By Island Hill No. 17 |

Cape Zhenhai is a quiet cape at the easternmost part of Longhai City. There are large grasslands and black volcanic rocks on the beach. There are countless fishing boats lined up in the harbor on one side of the cape. It is called "Little Kenting" because of its similar topography and landforms to Kenting in Taiwan. Probably the ultimate goal of all people who come to Cape Zhenhai is to find the red and white lighthouse. However, when you get there, you can feel the difference between the "imitation" and the "authentic"

By LilyLucy Travel Notes |

It is recommended to drive to Zhenhai Cape by yourself, as the transportation is not very convenient. I originally planned to bring my children to Zhenhai Cape for camping, which must be very interesting. Later, due to weather and time issues, we just passed by here. The narrow land extending into the sea blocked the entrance with stones. It takes about half an hour to walk to the lighthouse, so it is not recommended to bring too young children here. If you come here during the day in summer, it will be very hot, and children will easily wilt and not like it. However, this place is known as Little Kenting. Whether it is on site or in photos, it is very beautiful and very suitable for traveling together.

Time schedule: 1 hour.

By Donut |

It was about to rain when we went there, and the wind was very strong, but the scenery was still good. It would have been even better to take pictures on a sunny day.

By Jumping Zorro |

It is still a very natural place, not overly polluted by commercial activities. It is worth renting a car and making a special trip there!

By marjorie-jie |

I came to Zhenhai Cape with great expectations~

It's a small peninsula that has not been developed yet, so there's no need to have high expectations.

Some villagers set up photo booths, and you can take photos by paying.

Basically, you can just buy some water, there is no minimum consumption~

The transportation is not very convenient, it is recommended to travel by car~

By Really delicious |

I saw someone post a bad review. I took it two days ago (March 30th). It's not a scenic spot in the first place. No one paid for repairs. The road is very bad. It's normal. Those who said to use filters, let me show you what I can take with my crappy phone occasionally.

By Ouch |

The location of Zhenhai Cape is not in Xiamen, but in the neighboring Zhangzhou Port. It was not well-known at first, but since it became the location for a TV series, visitors have flocked to it. There are two lighthouses on the protruding peninsula, one of which has been abandoned. I personally think it is not very playable, and half a day is enough. However, many homestays have been opened in the nearby villages, some of which are Internet celebrities, so there are also many tourists who are in a daze here. By the way, it is not far from Zhangzhou Volcanic Geological Park.

By OK |

You have to go through a small village to get there, and there are more cars during the Spring Festival. The scenery is nice, you can fly kites, set up tents and camp, and there are also some props for Internet celebrities to take photos.

By Grape Lovers Candy |

Zhenhaijiao is just a small island. It doesn’t feel as good as a volcanic island and it has not been developed yet, so it is very desolate and original. There are also cows here. But it is really nice to take pictures. It is not called "Little Kenting" for nothing, it is super beautiful.

The island is small and can be completed in about 40 minutes.

By Moon Shadow |

It's worth a visit. There are no large groups now, only small groups. However, there are not many people and the scenery is beautiful.

By Xu Xiaoqi |

I saw many young people coming here to take wedding photos. The scenery is really nice. In addition to the island, you can also go down to the coastline on the beach, set up a tent, and listen to the sound of the rolling waves. How pleasant...

By shuuJIa |

It was cloudy on the day I went there, and the sea breeze was really strong. It was the first time I felt so light... The scenery was still very beautiful. It is recommended to drive there for convenience.

By I do my own thing |

The driver, Zhan Shenghua, drove steadily and safely, provided warm and thoughtful service, and had good photography skills. The scenic spots were beautiful, and the exquisite small group tour was enjoyable. It is worth recommending!!!

Cape Zhenhai is known as the "Little Kenting of Taiwan". There are two lighthouses, one new and one old, which are the landmark buildings on the island. Cape Zhenhai is surrounded by the sea on three sides. On sunny days, you can watch the sunrise and sunset at Cape Zhenhai, listen to the ebb and flow of the tide on the volcanic reef, and watch the coming and going of fishing boats under the lighthouse. Facing the sea, the flowers are blooming in spring.

The most beautiful tourist season is from June to September. The island is covered with green grass, and with the red bull on the Internet, it feels like cattle and sheep are seen in the wind blowing through the grass. Since there are more people on weekends, it is best to choose a non-weekend when there are fewer people, so you can quietly experience this isolated seaside fishing village. For accommodation, you can choose a nearby homestay, or you can camp on the grass.

I have been to Zhenhai Cape twice in half a year. Each time I saw different beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the sunrise and sunset. I hope I will have the chance next time.

tips:

Food: There are not many foods in Zhenhai Cape, so you can bring some food with you when you go there. There will be farmhouse food on the way through Zhenhai Village to Zhenhai Cape, and you can also eat something on the way.

Accommodation: After two years of development, some homestays have been added near the town’s Cape. You can find some online.

Travel: Self-driving: Search for Haicun, Longhai Town, Zhangzhou on the map

The filming location of the TV series "Flowers All the Way" was chosen here. Although I haven't watched the TV series, I still think that any place chosen by the film and television industry is always beautiful. The speedboat we took to Zhenhai Cape is located at the ferry terminal opposite Zhongshan Road. The speedboat ticket cost 15 yuan, and then we took a minibus for 4 yuan. It took nearly an hour to arrive. When we went there, the grass was not yet fully green, but I don't think I would feel bored if I stayed here for a few more days.

By 酷卡麽 |

Following the navigation, we arrived at Zhenhai Cape. It was around 2pm when the sun was at its hottest. I was a little disappointed when we arrived because our car was not allowed to go up. The villagers here blocked the main road up the mountain with two large stones. You can only take their car up. It costs 10 yuan per person to go up the mountain. The same is true for going down the mountain. You can also walk up by yourself.

The mountain in the distance is where the villagers live. It looks a bit like a secret place isolated from the world.

My companion and I came up by car and saw tents set up everywhere. I couldn't help but complain that such a beautiful place was ruined by these tents. Originally, a crew filmed a TV series here, which seemed to be called "Flowers Along the Way". After that, this place became famous, and more and more tourists began to come. Business opportunities came, and everyone began to think of ways to make money, selling snacks and drinks on the mountain.

The landmark building here is the lighthouse. Everyone who comes here should take a photo with it! Here I will teach you, because there are people under the lighthouse, so you have to avoid the crowd, stay a little further away from the lighthouse, and find a good angle, so that you can perfectly avoid the crowd under the lighthouse!

This place is really beautiful, although the place is not big. But you can easily take a picture of it, with knee-high reeds, dark green pine trees, rolling hills, grazing cows, and deep coast. No matter if this place has become less pure later, these can't resist the beauty of this place.

Below is the beach, you can go down to pick up shells and take some beautiful photos, but we didn't go down to take photos because we had limited time. Next time if I have the chance to come again, I must wear a small gauze skirt to take photos. After all, there are quite a lot of people taking wedding photos here!

Cape Zhenhai sounds like a very literary place. It is called the Little Kenting in Fujian and is also the filming location of the TV series "Along the Way with Flowers". If you can't go to Taiwan for the time being, go to Cape Zhenhai. It was foggy on the day you went there, and visibility was not very good. The mountains in the distance were not very clear, which was a pity. There are many objects for taking photos near the lighthouse, but you have to buy things at the cold drink stand next to it before you can take photos. There is also Zhangzhou Four Fruit Soup, which is very refreshing to drink after climbing the mountain. The lighthouse is really very literary. Many people choose to come here to take wedding photos. I think it is very suitable for small fresh wedding photos.

By Natsuki Kaiya |

The lighthouse and sea breeze are not very convenient to get to, but there are many B&Bs within a half-hour walk. There are many newlyweds taking wedding photos.

When I went to Xiamen for tourism and searched the surrounding areas, I found Zhenhai Cape, commonly known as "Little Kenting". It was a pleasant surprise to drive here by myself. It is a literary and fresh place. I especially like the sunset. The cattle on the hillside by the coast are leisurely eating grass, tourists are taking pictures next to the lighthouse, and children are playing on the swings. The waves are beating against the coast like singing and roaring. The blue sky, white clouds, and the sea are all so natural and harmonious. I can't help but go to the sea to catch crabs 🦀️ Hermit crabs... On the hillside, the local villagers roasted the oysters that had just been salvaged. The taste was very delicious and the price was very affordable. I ate more than 10 in one go. Backpackers set up tents on the hillside by the shore to camp here. Living by the sea is also very enviable.

By Momo |

It was very beautiful in my imagination and in the pictures posted by others. But when I got there, I realized that there was a gap between my imagination and reality. Maybe it was because I went there at the wrong time. I couldn't see the thriving green, which was a bit disappointing. It's okay to take pictures, but I have to show them off.

By mclove1314 |

If you don't like the crowds in Xiamen, then come here. It is recommended to drive here by yourself, which is very convenient. The scenery along the way is pretty good. It is also a place where you can take pictures. If the weather is good, the sunrise and sunset are still beautiful. This is also a good choice for novice drone pilots. There are no obstacles. If you find a place with few people to take off, there will not be so many onlookers.

By Wandering |

The weekend was one and a half days long and overall it was good from accommodation to sightseeing.

By Sayu |

In the late summer and early autumn, the scenery is just like Kenting!

By Liang Erding |

Cape Zhenhai is a relatively unpopular scenic spot, but I just like it. Actually, Cape Zhenhai is just a small hill with a large grassland on the hill, a lighthouse on the grassland, and a sea under the lighthouse. Such a simple place is called the Little Kenting in Fujian. I walked towards the direction of big waves and fewer people, because I wanted to get closer to Cape Zhenhai. Cape Zhenhai is actually very suitable for picnics or camping. Bring a tent, bring a good mood, and camp here. Listen to the wind, watch the sea, watch the stars, and wait for the sunrise. Everything is just beautiful.

By Growing children |

Cape Town, free of charge.

Although it is very close to Xiamen, there is no direct transportation. You need to take a boat to Zhangzhou Port first, then change to a bus to the village closest to Zhenhaijiao, and then take a motorcycle from the villagers. For the beautifully dressed young ladies, it is recommended to charter a car or drive yourself.

By K |

It’s a very good place for taking photos, but the transportation is relatively inconvenient. I suggest that if you want to go there, you can start from Xiamen, which will be better!

By Soon it cleared up. |

The natural scenery is very beautiful, and it is truly "Little Kenting in Fujian". However, it has not yet been developed. The villagers are all using it to grab land and make money. Even taking photos requires spending money. The public facilities are poor, and there is not even a public toilet. There is garbage everywhere, which is buried on the spot or directly burned. It is very different from the beautiful scenery and is horrible to look at.

By phyllis |

This is an undeveloped peninsula, it is pristine, authentic and natural. The young couple in the picture have dark and bright skin, and the hand-pulled pancake tastes pretty good. As a Zhangzhou native, it is a good place to relax.

By Xiaoting |

Cape Zhenhai is also called "Little Kenting of Xiamen".

The wind here is so strong that it makes me doubt my life, but I still pluck up the courage to take a photo.

It was really cold in Cape Zhenhai in March. The wind was so strong that we couldn't take any portraits.

But Zhenhai Cape is really a place worth visiting. The tour guide told us that we can take pictures of the Milky Way here in summer.

This was the place I was most looking forward to on this trip, but unfortunately it was defeated by the strong wind, so I must come again next time.

At present, the tourism facilities in Zhenhai Cape are not perfect. It is more convenient to travel by car. On the way, you will pass by the famous Zhenhaiwei

It is known as the "Little Kenting in Fujian". The only drawback is that the transportation is not very convenient. It is recommended to drive yourself or charter a car. The color of the sea is pretty good.

The shellfish should be farmed in the sea. There are lush green grass, leisurely walking cattle and sheep, an upright lighthouse, spectacular volcanic rock beaches, and blue waters. The road leading to the inside is blocked and deliberately dug up. Cars are not allowed to drive up, so everyone gets off and walks. After standing for a while, the waves are getting bigger and bigger. It seems that the tide is starting to rise. We have seen the power of the tide, so we ran away without hesitation.

By echo |

It's so disappointing. There are so many tourists that no grass can grow on the ground. Especially with cars whizzing by casually, it doesn't feel like a tourist attraction at all.

By lois |

If you choose to come to Zhenhai Cape, you should know that the more undeveloped and niche attractions are, the more inconvenient the transportation is (it took me six hours to get from Quanzhou to Zhenhai Cape, and I changed four modes of transportation). There are no related entertainment projects and public facilities on the island (not even a toilet), the beach is not well developed, and the road is not easy to walk, so you must be prepared for "long journeys and long journeys". This is destined not to be an island leisure trip. But all the fatigue of the trip was swept away when I saw this sea area. This sea is so! Clean!! Looking around, it is an endless clear and transparent light blue. Looking at it, it seems that you can see the end of the world. There are few traces of human development here, and you can see the most authentic appearance of the sea.

Zhenhai Cape is suitable for friends who want to [take photos, camp, hike, watch the stars, enjoy the sea breeze, and wait for the sunrise]. When the weather is good, watching the stars and waiting for the sunrise by the sea is the best way to spend the day here.

Almost all travel notes mentioned that it is best to choose a non-holiday to visit Zhenhai Cape. However, after all, you have no choice after you get a job. You can no longer pack a bag and go whenever you don’t have classes like you did in college. When you go to Zhenhai Cape on holidays, you will see all kinds of fluorescent tents and crowds of people on the hillside.

The cattle meadow, the lighthouse swing, the blue sea and sky, and the bus shop are the most attractive scenery in Cape Zhenhai, and are also the must-visit places for photography enthusiasts.

The grass-eating cows at Zhenhai Cape are the most popular here, but whether you can see them depends on luck. We made a mistake this time because we didn't take a motorcycle taxi. It looked very close, so we thought it shouldn't be far. Unexpectedly, we walked for almost an hour and waited until we reached the ground.

When standing on the beach, people are so insignificant in front of nature. The wind in Zhenhai Cape is even stronger than that in Dongshan, and it looks like a typhoon. The waves on the sea are high and fast, so don't go to the cliff to play in the water. Swimming is prohibited in this area! You can swing on the cliff, there are wild flowers everywhere, and there is also the landmark lighthouse of Zhenhai Cape.

A pleasant experience! We set off at 9 o'clock in the morning, and the driver and tour guide Li Shuo introduced enthusiastically along the way! As soon as we arrived at the beach, everyone was excited. Compared with the smallness of Gulangyu and the bustle of Baicheng, this sea is so quiet, and we are the masters of the sea! Male compatriots put on swimsuits and rushed to the waves, while girls sang happily on the waves. If you are careful, you can dig out cute little sand crabs on the beach full of small holes, and find small fish, crabs and sea urchins in the cracks of the rocks by the sea. The tour guide brother turned into a photography expert to take pictures for us! The group meal at noon was super satisfying, and the boiled shrimp was highly recommended! After the meal, we took a short rest in the folk homestay next to it, and we set off for the Zhenhai Cape Lighthouse! This is a more primitive bay. Looking into the distance from the lighthouse, the sound of the waves is still the same, and the sea and sky are one color! On the way back, we took the ferry and experienced the feeling of a local crossing the sea! Thanks to the driver, thanks to brother Li Shuo!

This is a great place where the movie "Flowers Are Coming" was filmed. We walked and joked along the way, and saw huge aloe vera (that's what I call it). We walked and walked to the place in Figure 1, and saw scallops, which were super fresh. There was a scene of people going out to sea and coming ashore. We stayed here for a while, and then walked along the beach towards the lighthouse. We saw small crabs and the slightest movement. We saw people playing together in groups of two or three.

Come here and enjoy the breeze.

Taiwan is just across the street. My phone keeps showing Taiwan Mobile signal.

Cape Zhenhai, known as "Little Kenting", has also been a popular tourist spot in the past two years. Although it is located in Zhangzhou, it is actually only an hour's drive from Xiamen. It is perfect for a tour around Xiamen. Cape Zhenhai is also a peninsula like Kenting. It has the same grassland, sea breeze, cattle raised by farmers, and literary and fresh lighthouses as Kenting. Here, the sea is yours, the wind is yours, the grassland is yours, and the world is yours. A TV series "Flowers All the Way" was filmed here. The heroine (Jiang Shuying) lived on this island. The name of the drama is "Weiyu Island", and there are many scenes on the island. But I personally prefer the name "Cape Zhenhai", which feels much more majestic. What do you think?

It was almost November when we went there, and the grass had turned into weeds. There was no longer that feeling of "facing the sea, with spring flowers in bloom", but it was a different kind of beauty, without the fresh and clean "magnificent beauty".

Several times when I looked through the photos, I had a sense of déjà vu of the "Loess Plateau".

Thinking about the green grass, it seems like it is centuries away from me. I can only imagine that this piece of grass is green!!!

After I went there, the theme of the post I posted on my Moments was "Autumn also happens at the seaside". Just thinking about it is enough.

By Fish running on land |

The beautiful painting style and the unknown tranquility made me plant this grass. The wind brought the footsteps of travelers, and with curiosity and a small plane, we walked into this charming peninsula.

The lush green grass spreads out naturally before your eyes, like a pastoral painting. The blue sea, the green grass, the red and white striped lighthouse, nature has the most accurate grasp of the principle of color matching.

Walking to the beach, the original ocean atmosphere is overwhelming: fishermen are working quietly, and boats scattered on the sea are in a dormant state. Instead, couples who come here for travel photography become the protagonists of the picture.

I have seen more magnificent seas, stepped on softer sands, and harvested beautiful sunsets and sunrises, but I didn't experience any of these that day. Compared with those seas that once made me scream, Cape Zhenhai is inconspicuous, but I love her insignificance more. Maybe it's because it's not overly whitewashed, there are no crowds, and it quietly falls on a corner of the coastline, waiting to be embraced.

Cape Zhenhai is not big, two days and one night is enough. It is more suitable for taking wedding photos, and many people choose to take wedding photos here.

Looking down at Zhenhai Cape from God's perspective, you will find that Zhenhai Cape is actually a long place protruding from the bay.

The weather was not very good when we came, so the sea looked a bit dirty. It will be much better when the weather is clear.

The village is not big, built on the mountain, facing the sea, and there are many homestays in the village. It can be said that it is truly facing the sea, with flowers blooming in spring. Although the sea here is not particularly blue, it cannot be compared with Maldives, Saipan, and Okinawa, but the unique volcanic rocks here and the blue sea water make a sharp contrast.

The sea area and landform of Zhenhai Cape are very similar to Eluanbi, the southernmost part of Kenting, Taiwan, so it is also called the Little Kenting in Fujian. Public transportation here is not very convenient, so it is highly recommended to drive there, which takes about an hour from Xiamen.

In fact, there are three unique sights in Zhenhai Cape: the grassland, the fort and the old cow. The Zhenhai Cape Lighthouse is located on the protruding land of Zhenhaiwei extending out from the sea, which can be said to be the biggest highlight of Zhenhai Cape. The fort makes the whole look full of vitality and is the finishing touch.

I prefer the summer in Zhenhai Cape, which is hot, blue and full of vitality. The winter in Zhenhai Cape is cold and yellow, but has a different flavor.

What you certainly cannot miss here is a delicious seafood meal. There are many food stalls in the village, or you can buy fresh seafood here and have it processed in restaurants.

Tips: Since public transportation is inconvenient in Zhenhaijiao, it is highly recommended to drive there. It is not far from Xiamen or Zhangzhou.

The temperature in Zhenhai Cape was about 20 degrees that day, and many local villagers were wearing short sleeves. My friend and I couldn't handle it, so we put on a big coat after putting on our summer clothes.

As we got closer to the lighthouse, the sea view became wider and wider, but it was far less beautiful than the buyer's show on the Internet. Only the edge of the sea was still quite shocking. It can be seen from a distance but not up close. The "Cape" is just as the name suggests. However, it is recommended not to come here in the wrong season, otherwise you will be greatly disappointed.

Cape Zhenhai is also called "Little Kenting, Xiamen".

We arrived at the lighthouse at Cape Zhenhai, but the wind was so strong that we began to doubt our lives.

It is really cold in Cape Zhenhai in March.

The wind was so strong that we couldn't take any portraits.

So I had to give up.

But Zhenhai Cape is really a place worth visiting. The tour guide told us that we can take pictures of the Milky Way here in summer.

This was the place I was most looking forward to on this trip, but unfortunately it was defeated by the strong wind, so I must come again next time.

I felt a little disappointed when I left Zhenhai Cape, after all, I had high expectations for it.

However, there are always many unknowns and surprises during the journey.

By China-TravelNote users |

The scenery is beautiful, but it was too windy today. I didn't walk around the village, but I can go for a walk when I have time.

By Chrysanthemum truncatum |

It's a good place to create a shape, but it's not managed, so it's a bit messy. But I'd rather live in Zhenhai Village because it's quiet and primitive.

By EriC Li |

The original scenery is superb. It's very nice to take photos in good weather. However, the management is too chaotic. There is garbage everywhere on the ground. There are many sheds and vendors selling things like food stalls. It's really unsightly. There are no toilets and motorcycles parked everywhere. There are more people playing there, and the lawn maintenance has not kept up. The grass in many places has been trampled bald. If it continues like this, there will be nothing to see. Finally, I attach a few photos that have not been retouched. The last two are Zhenhai Cape now and three years ago. You can compare them yourself.

The scenery here is still very good, but the path is dusty, so be sure to wear a mask, and glasses are of course better

Zhenhai Cape, known as the Little Kenting in Fujian, is the best place for seaside fun and camping. However, because the area is relatively remote and the transportation is inconvenient, it is best to drive there.

By mika |

Because Zhenhai Cape is located in a village and many roads are still under construction, it is difficult for us to go out to find food as the roads are not easy to travel on. Therefore, it is recommended that you drive to Zhenhai Cape as it is really remote.

We arrived at the cape at about 4 o'clock. Cars could not drive up there, so we could only park on the side of the road and walk up. It was not very far, about 15 minutes' walk. Many people came here to camp, and there were really a lot of people. Many people also came here to take wedding photos.

By Photographer Peanut |

It takes two hours to drive from downtown Xiamen. When I went there in September, some roads had not been repaired yet and were not easy to walk on. It is estimated that it will only take more than an hour to get there after the repairs. It is recommended to rent a car or carpool there. It will be more convenient to take a boat back and forth and transfer, which wastes too much time. Zhenhai Cape is very close to the volcanic island.

Cape Zhenhai is a long and narrow peninsula, which extends into the vast sea on one side and connects to the ancient city of Zhenhaiwei on the other. The peninsula is surrounded by the sea on three sides and bays on the left and right. The whole island is made of volcanic rocks. There are green grasslands and a new and an old lighthouse on the island. Because the lighthouse is red and white, it reminds people of Taiwan's Eluanbi (a famous lighthouse in Taiwan's Kenting National Park), so many people who have been to Cape Zhenhai call it the Little Kenting of Fujian.

As the landmark building of Cape Zhenhai, the Zhenhai Lighthouse was built in the late 1980s and consists of a new and an old lighthouse. The old lighthouse has been weathered by wind and sun, and has shown traces of time. After being painted white, it has regained its youthful and dazzling light; the new lighthouse is painted red and white, and is slightly more majestic than the old one; two lighthouses of different sizes stand on the edge of the cape, like an anxious woman on the seaside holding her staggering child, looking forward to the safe return of her husband who went out to sea to fish. That kind of longing is like the "I am on this side of the cape, you are on the other side of the sea" in "Homesickness"

Standing on the Zhenhai Cape, you can see the boundless sea, the green grass, and the red and white lighthouse, all of which exude a youthful and artistic atmosphere. There is no noise from the hustle and bustle of the city, no traffic jams, no intrigues and struggles, but only wooden road signs full of art, blue and white modified cars, and Minions bicycles with glasses.

I have visited the seas in the United States, Macau, and Shantou. Compared with the seas in big cities, this is still a "virgin sea" that has not been commercially developed. There are unpolluted oceans, unmodified beaches, uncarved volcanic rocks, as well as endless capes and thousands of fishing boats. If there is really a "land and sea" in the world, it should be in Zhenhai Cape.

This place is very suitable for taking photos. If you choose the right time, it will be beautiful under the sunset. The sea water is very blue.

By Unfinished |

Cape Zhenhai, free of charge, passes through a village on a mountain, and then goes down the mountain to a protruding island. There is nothing fun on the island, but the scenery is very beautiful, it is really designed for taking pictures.

By Yutong |

Zhenhaijiao is a very primitive place, and it is very comfortable to stay there quietly. However, there is no nightlife at all, and there is not even a TV in the room. So the four of us gathered in one room, brewed a cup of tea, chatted, and enjoyed the purest family love.

Cape Zhenhai: Known as the "Little Kenting in Fujian", the sea water is very clean and it is a good place to watch the sea.

You need to take a boat from Zhongshan Road Wharf to Zhangzhou Port, which takes about 15 minutes. You can locate it at the tourist passenger terminal. There is a bus every half an hour, and the operating hours are: 6:30 am to 9:30 pm. You need to use your ID card to buy a ticket. After arriving at Zhangzhou Port, turn right at the exit to Zhangzhou Port Passenger Transport Center Station, take a bus to Baitang, and prepare change. It takes about an hour. It usually takes about an hour to get to Zhenhai Cape. Tell the driver to go to Zhenhai Cape, and the driver will remind you to get off; after getting off the bus, there will be a motorcycle driver at the entrance of the village asking you if you want to go to Zhenhai Cape. The motorcycle taxi costs 10 yuan per person. You can ask the driver's phone number for the return trip. If you walk to the lighthouse, it is estimated to take about 40 minutes.

It should be noted that the bus from Baitang to Zhangzhou Port will not stop until 4pm at the latest. You can take a bus to Baitang for one yuan and then take the bus from the starting station. However, you can also take the bus to Gangwei and then change to two buses to Zhangzhou Port.

Cape Zhenhai has not been developed yet, so it is recommended that you bring some dry food with you. Of course, there are also some family restaurants and inns nearby. If time permits, you can stay in Cape Zhenhai for a night to watch the sunset and sunrise.

By Ordinary Road |

The sea is at least much bluer than Xiamen, but it's too troublesome to get there.

By The ocean current wind is not cold |

You have to walk a short distance to get there. It's a one-way street. There are cars that fall into the ditch.

Besides, the scenery is mediocre, just like any other seaside scenery. If there was a fake lighthouse called "Kenting", then China's coastline would be full of attractions...

By 🍡Meatball sauce. |

The Cape of Zhenhai is quite small, with weeds everywhere, volcanic rocks scattered all over the seashore, fishing boats scattered on the sea, and windmills in the distance. The scenery is unexpectedly good. However, due to poor management, the scenic spot is very dirty, with garbage everywhere, and there are no trash cans for miles around. At the same time, due to inconvenient transportation, the experience is not very good.

Administratively speaking, Zhenhaijiao belongs to Longhai City of Zhangzhou City. It is the filming location of the TV series "Along the Way with Flowers". I haven't watched the TV series, but it has indeed made this unpopular niche attraction popular to a certain extent.

There is only one road from the village to the real Cape Zhenhai, so you don't have to worry about taking the wrong road. There are fishermen drying their nets on both sides of the road, which smells stinky.

There are not many tourists here, and it has not been developed much, let alone sanitation workers, so you must not throw garbage on the ground and affect the appearance of Zhenhai Cape.

Cape Zhenhai is known as Little Kenting, and its beautiful scenery is evident here. Coming here, you really feel like you are in Kenting. The landmark building of Cape Zhenhai - the lighthouse

At noon, the sun rose higher and the sky gradually turned into a charming blue.

After returning from the lighthouse, we went to the beach at Cape Zhenhai. This place has not been developed, and the road is not easy to find. There is only an inconspicuous small entrance. The beach is not big, there is no one, and there is no fine sand like other bathing beaches. The beach is basically filled with some fossils of shells washed up from the sea, which is very primitive.
