Physical development is a good place for outdoor strolls. Zhongshan Park is divided into several major areas, but children still like the children's playground the most. We were lucky when we entered and entered directly. Because there was a limit on the number of people in the venue, there was a long queue at the entrance when we came out. The big slide, when you are in Aranya, you have to pay an additional 100 yuan to play. It is free in Xiamen Zhongshan Park, and there are many uniformed staff next to it, which makes you feel especially safe. I envy Xiamen people for having such a free place to stroll their children. The amusement facilities are very new and clean, and they are all suitable for children's outdoor development training. My son had a lot of fun with several children. The children played and I sat next to them to rest. This is also a good place to stroll the children. I was sweating profusely, and I finally agreed to come out after much persuasion. I went to the zoo next to me for a while and then went back to the hotel to rest.

Went to the zoo in Zhongshan Park

The bus stops at the south gate of Zhongshan Park. Go through the innermost part of the park and you will find a small zoo. There is a statue imitating a dinosaur fossil at the entrance. Visitors can enter and exit freely. There are mostly monkeys and some birds. Further inside, there are tigers, bears and other beasts.

It's a small zoo, but the two kids enjoyed it. The beast area is really interesting. Next to the zoo is a children's playground. At first I thought it would cost 20-30 yuan for admission, but it turned out to be free.

Zhongshan Park was built in 1927. It is an open park with four gates: east, south, west and north. The south gate is the most spectacular. Coming from Zhongshan Road, you will go through the south gate. The park has pavilions, towers, bridges and flowing water. It has not only the scenery of an ordinary park, but also a zoo. The most special scenery in this park is Kuixing Mountain.

Kuixing Mountain was originally the back garden of the Xingquanyong Dao Office in Fujian during the Qing Dynasty. After entering through the south gate of Zhongshan Park, walk to the left and follow a narrow path that leads directly to the mountain. After walking a little further, you can see many cliff carvings in the mountain.

On Kuixing Mountain stands a stone several meters high, steep and upright, shaped like Kuixing, hence the name Kuixing Stone. There is also a hexagonal pavilion on the mountain, facing Kuixing Stone from a distance, which is Kuixing Pavilion. Most of the stone carvings from the Qing Dynasty, such as "The Roots of Clouds in Ten Thousand Valleys", "Clouds are Foolish and Cranes are Old", "Stones are Thin and Pine is Fat", and "Three Tours of Lujiang", were left by the Daotai who came to Xiamen at that time. They record the sighs and difficulties of the time. Each word and sentence may be a historical allusion or a life philosophy with profound implications. These stone carvings also engraved a page of vicissitudes in Xiamen's modern history.

You can sit down and rest on Kuixing Mountain, enjoy the cool breeze and admire the scenery, which is a unique experience.

A very conscientious park, free~ There is a zoo and a children's island... The zoo is mainly full of various monkeys: red monkeys, long-tailed monkeys... and birds: parrots, black swans, red-crowned cranes... The square is a place for uncles and aunts to dance and entertain~ The infrastructure in the south is still very good...

Zhongshan Park is very beautiful and huge. It is said that there is also a small zoo.

By Zhao Xiaoben |

A good place to relax, it is very big, mostly locals, there is a children's park and a zoo. It is very suitable for family outings. The park is free, but tickets are required for the children's park and the zoo.

By Smile |

The children's playground and zoo in Zhongshan Park are free. My kids especially like climbing back and forth many times in the jungle adventure in the park. It's great to complete all the climbing by themselves, and it's especially fun to slide down the slide at the end! Although it's free, there are many staff sitting in each area to maintain order. There is also a medical room and a broadcasting room. There are complete toilets and foot washing pools. There are security guards at the entrance and exit of the park. The large slide cannot be played if you are less than 90CM tall. The staff will supervise. The park will close at 5:15. We had to leave before we had enough fun!

By Full of money |

There is a street park with an amusement center and old streets around it.

A city park for citizens to relax, with a statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen in the park. There is a subway station here.

The park is very big and the environment is very beautiful.

I really didn’t have enough time to walk around in the morning~

There is a small zoo in this park.

Animals are little Su's favorite~

There are dinosaur skeletons.

I passed by at night and took a look inside. It was pretty much like an ordinary park.

The season when the flamboyant flowers bloom is particularly beautiful. Both sides of the inner river are full of flamboyant flowers, hanging down to the river surface.

There are many cities in China that have Zhongshan Parks built to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Xiamen is no exception and has a park named after it. The address is located at Gongyuan South Road, Siming District. Admission to Zhongshan Park is completely free and no fees are charged. In the park, you can not only play and stroll, but also have a small playground, a zoo, and boating.

By Extraordinary Life |

Zhongshan Park Most of the Zhongshan Parks in the country are located in bustling areas, but the Zhongshan Park in Xiamen is very exquisite, with many recreational places such as a zoo, children's amusement park, and botanical viewing garden.

The location is very convenient, but the visiting time depends on the opening hours of each project.

By Fantasy |

Zhongshan Park, I remember going to see the lantern show during the Lantern Festival every year when I was a kid. Of course, in addition to holidays, I would also go to the park amusement park and the zoo on weekends. At that time, I felt that Zhongshan Park was a very lively place.

In early 2017, Zhongshan Park was completely renovated and upgraded. I never went there after the renovation and upgrade. Recently, I saw a photo of a colleague taking his kids to Zhongshan Park, which suddenly brought back childhood memories. So, we took the subway line 1 and went there. The entrance to the subway is next to the south gate of Zhongshan Park. I saw in the news that the number of visitors to the park increased sharply shortly after the subway was opened.

The current Zhongshan Park gives people the feeling of a wider view, with exquisite pavilions, towers, bridges and flowing water, and winding paths. The landscapes inside include the lion dance globe, the world for all, Yiqu Garden, Kuixing Pavilion, the statue of Sun Yat-sen, the tree-lined square, Xiaochun Tower, bonsai garden, flower exhibition hall, monument, zoo, Children's Island, and so on.

We have to talk about the Children's Island, which is an upgraded version of the Children's Park. The Golden Dragon Slide and Rotating Plane in my childhood memories have been removed, and replaced by some amusement themes such as game sand pits, forest cabins, and adventure activity areas to meet the play needs of children of different ages. This place will continue to become a beautiful memory of more Xiamen people when they were young. (Note⚠️The Children's Island is open to the public for free from 8:15 to 17:15)

After the change, the zoo has become much more spacious and brighter. The old iron railings are no longer visible because they have all been removed and replaced by transparent glass houses. It is better to watch the animals up close and the field of vision is clearer.

Although Zhongshan Park has a new look, it is still there and will continue to witness the development of Xiamen and accompany generations of people to grow up.

Zhongshan Park has four gates in the east, south, west and north. The park is very large. It feels like a good place to cool off even at noon. There are many big trees in it. The elderly are playing chess and cards under the trees. There are also many public chairs under the trees where you can sit and rest when you are tired. There is a zoo and a small amusement park in the whole park, and you can also go there for a family outing. The elderly here all have rich faces and are naturally filled with joy. Xiamen is a livable city, and it is true.

By Rain on the Road |

Bicycles are not allowed in the park, but the environment is really good. A family with children came out for a picnic, which was very warm. A few elderly people got together to play cards and chat, which was also very pleasant.

By ask |

In order to avoid the crowds, we chose Zhongshan Park, a park frequented by locals, and chose to walk there to experience the real local life, with birds singing and flowers blooming along the way... There is a small stall selling fried oyster cakes in the alley at the entrance of the park, 3 yuan each, and pancakes, all of which are delicious.

There is also a zoo and a children's play area in the park, but it was the first day of the Qingming Festival holiday and there were too many people that day, so we didn't go.

By happy |

The park is very large. When I went there, there were already citizens doing morning exercises inside, and the bougainvillea in the garden was in full bloom.

By The Earth Still Turns |

The park is suitable for all ages and is a good place to experience the life of local people. There are garden buildings, ornamental plants, children's playgrounds, and zoos.

By Your oil |

Good reviews, there is a zoo in Zhongshan Park, it's great, and most importantly, it's free!

By Between Water and Clouds |

An earlier Xiamen park, located in the old city, has been renovated and has a small zoo. It is a good place to take your children and elders for a walk on weekends.

By Belt |

Walking with friends. It was nice. I took a photo of the night view😄

By July |

I wandered around the gate of Zhongshan Park but didn't go in. This gate has a bit of a taste, haha

By Wang Hyo-roe |

It was a coincidence to enter this park, because it is right next to the hotel where I stayed. I went out for a casual stroll after breakfast on the first day and entered. There are trees, flowers and plants unique to the south, mostly potted plants. A good place for entertainment for the elderly, singing, dancing and people practicing Tai Chi, very pleasant

By Rapunzel |

It's very small. You can come here to rest, but there's nothing else to see.

By Big Gray |

Zhongshan Park is located in the old streets and alleys in the city center. It was built in the Republic of China period to commemorate Sun Yat-sen. It has no historical sites but a beautiful environment. It is a paradise for leisure and entertainment for nearby citizens.

By wnown |

Every place seems to have a Zhongshan Park Flower Pavilion. It's very beautiful and I love the flowers and plants.

By Island |

It's very big, there is a zoo inside, you can see a lot of birds, the scenery is nice. But if you don't have much time for travel, you can ignore it.

All the cities I know have a Zhongshan attraction, and they all have the same characteristics. I have been to more than one Zhongshan Park or Museum, so I didn’t go in to see them. I just took a few photos when I passed by outside.

By Left-handed Ye Ye |

No tickets are required. It has become a place for local people to relax. Many people go there to enjoy the cool air. The overall feeling is just average.

By I am who I am |

It’s just a park. Many cities have Zhongshan Park.

By kailinworld |

The scenery is very good, very suitable for couples to take a leisurely walk

By Xiapu Linsheng |

There is no entrance fee to Zhongshan Park. It is not far from the train station and only takes about 18 yuan by taxi. It has a very convenient location and is not too noisy.

By Again |

As soon as you enter Zhongshan Park, you will feel that time has slowed down. It is similar to Zhongshan Park in Shanghai, and is a good place for citizens to take their children and the elderly to play cards.

There is a small zoo near the east gate, which has many children. There is a bird park and monkey cages. When you go inside, you can find tigers and bears. In one corner of the zoo, there is a space reserved for the red-crowned crane and white-naped crane family to love freely. It is full of human touch.

By The wingless one |

The park is full of life, the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers are intoxicating, and taking a deep breath of the fresh air brought by nature is refreshing. There is an endless stream of Xiamen citizens who come here for early morning exercise, which adds more vitality to the park.

By Mao 2er-Chen Kun's girlfriend |

It's just a small park. Nothing much.

By Silence |

There is also a Zhongshan Park in Qingdao, so I wanted to go and see what the difference is. The vegetation is very lush and the air is very good.

By Glass Microcosm |

By accident, I wandered around Huaxin Road and accidentally walked to the west gate of the park. Zhongshan Park seems to be quite large, and several winding rivers decorate the park very uniquely. There are pedal boats in the park, and it should be more interesting to ride a boat here than to visit a park with a whole lake. The architecture and gardens in the south are very delicate, and you can take pictures everywhere. The green plants cover a large area of the park, and it is really a good mood to walk in it.

PS: The location of the park is very convenient. There are several bus lines at the south gate. You can go straight to the bustling commercial areas such as Zhongshan Road and Datong Road to visit shops.

There are several flower vendors at the North Gate entrance, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Opposite the West Gate is the old villa area on Huaxin Road. If you go straight, you can find the famous Ximen Bamboo Shoot Jelly. The Xiamen Song and Dance Theater is right at the door.

By Small zinc |

Xiamen Zhongshan Park has a beautiful environment and pleasant scenery. It is a good place. Entering the west gate is a large lake that runs through the entire park, rippling with blue waves, like a flawless emerald. On the left side of the lake is an open square, which is a mass activity area. There is a huge sculpture near the south gate, which is a globe with a lion standing on it, a row of eagles under the globe, and a pool next to it. On the rock behind the pool are carved four big characters written by Mr. Sun Yat-sen: "天下为公". There is a zoo next to the east gate, which has peacocks, monkeys, tigers, leopards, ostriches, white cows... The north gate is a children's playground.

By Zoe |

The park has a strong cultural atmosphere, with many old houses nearby and gardens at the doorsteps of residents' homes.

By Yes |

It is also a symbol of Xiamen. There are many plants and so on. It is still worth seeing.

By Jingxing Xingzhi |

The Zhongshan Park here is located next to the West Lake in Hangzhou. It is not the Zhongshan Park next to the Forbidden City in Beijing. It has attractions such as the ruins of the Qing Palace.

Zhongshan Park is located on Gongyuan South Road in Siming District. You can take a bus to Gongyuan East Road Station and walk for four or five minutes to get there. If you live in Siming District or go to Wanshi Botanical Garden, you can also walk there like me. Because it is not far from the botanical garden, walkers can enjoy different scenery along the way. Zhongshan Park is open to the public for free! You can spend an hour or two to enjoy your time here. The south gate of Zhongshan Park is very domineering, and the environment in the park is also very quiet.

By Kevin |

Haha, I was just passing by and took a photo at the door.

By Rice |

I actually saw the feeling of the Republic of China or a garden. In short, it is enjoyable to have so many lush plants.

By If you have a dream, go for it |

Take bus No. 87 to the east gate of the park and get off right at the entrance. It is free to enter Zhongshan Park. There is a stone tablet with the words "天下为公" (the world belongs to all) and a statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen at the entrance.

The park has a nice environment. There is even a zoo inside. Although it is not big, there are quite a lot of animals inside. The zoo is also free, which is great. I would like to remind you that the zoo inside closes at 6 pm and you are not allowed to enter at 5:45 pm. If you go, please pay attention to the time. There is a lake in the park where you can row a boat. The pedal boat is 30 yuan per hour, which is not expensive. I personally think that Zhongshan Park has a great location and is free to visit. It is worth visiting.

By hoosky |

It seems like there is a Zhongshan Park in almost every city... The park is not very big, and there is a zoo inside, but it is very small, but it is free to enter.

By Li Xiaobao |

I didn't go in, I just passed by. The gate is very grand. Opposite is a T-junction. Looking inside the T-junction is the Little Glasses Food Stall.

There are many plants in Zhongshan Park. Unlike Zhongshan Park in Wuhan, there are no recreational facilities in it. It is more like a small botanical garden. . . . Many elderly people sit under the banyan trees to rest comfortably. . .

By Bond I |

Xiamen's Zhongshan Park is a paradise in the memory of many post-90s children. It has many fun rides and a zoo. However, few people go to play in the tourist facilities now, but they are still in operation. The scenery inside is very beautiful, and many elderly people play cards here to spend their leisure time.

By baggio2_18 |

The distinctive European-style buildings are actually similar in style to Shangxiajiu. I have been to Shangxiajiu before, so I was not too impressed. However, the corridors on both sides of the road really helped a lot. In a place where it rains whenever it rains, it is really good to hide from the rain.

By Wutong Warmth |

Take a walk in Zhongshan Park and see the leisure side of Xiamen citizens. It is actually the same as Guangzhou Yuexiu Park and other places. Retired or idle people gather together to sing old songs and dance. There is also a small zoo in the park. Watch the keeper feed the little monkeys.

By erica_qu |

It seems that many cities have such a Zhongshan Park. Xiamen's Zhongshan Park was also built to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen. There is a monument to Mr. Sun Yat-sen at the entrance of the east gate, with the four characters "天下为公" (The world belongs to the public) inscribed on it. Many projects in the park were built with donations from overseas Chinese at the time. Like other parks, this is a gathering place for the elderly and children, some playing and frolicking, some practicing boxing and singing, and of course, the aunties who dance in the square. There are also groups of elderly people sitting together, with a pot of tea, a table and a chess, to kill their idle afternoon time.

By Fragrance dust falls |

In Xiamen’s Zhongshan Park, there are pavilions, bridges, flowers, rockery, bonsai...it’s like encountering a Jiangnan garden in southern Fujian.

By Rice |

I still don't recommend you to go to this park specially. It's just a very ordinary park, with no characteristics, no fun, no place to fall in love, quarrel, etc. ... The places where you can sit have been gathered together to play cards~

By Red Sleeves |

Xiamen Zhongshan Park is very quiet, not many tourists, locals play cards and have activities in it. There are large numbers of phoenix flowers and purple bougainvillea on the tall trees in the park. There is a "Ximen Tusun Jelly" about 100 meters from the west gate of Zhongshan Park. It has good reviews online. I went to try it. Unexpectedly, my daughter ate it very smoothly and ate it in a very "ferocious" manner, which was "shocked" to my mother.

Zhongshan Park doesn't require tickets. There is also a zoo inside, but it was getting dark and we didn't have the chance to enjoy it.

By Grape Girl |

Passing by Zhongshan Park, I saw the statue of Sun Yat-sen and experienced the leisurely life of Xiamen people.

By Chapter |

Zhongshan Park. Although it is not a famous tourist attraction, the coconut groves and huge old banyan trees with a strong southern scenery are still very beautiful in the eyes of a northern kid like me. So I began to envy the Xiamen citizens who were resting in the sun in the park.

By CC saves money and goes out to play |

As the name suggests, Zhongshan Park is a park named after Mr. Sun Yat-sen. The park has a moderate area, neither too big nor too small. To me, the park can be divided into three areas: the forest area, the flower area, and the water area.

By Du Yunfang |

The reason why I go to Zhongshan Park is not because of its scenery, but because of a complex. Although the landscape of Zhongshan Park is a bit old, it still has many attractions.

By Ming Xiao Miao |

Zhongshan Park was also built to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen. Generally speaking, this is a park for Xiamen citizens to gather. There are many elderly people and children. The scenery in the park is quite beautiful.

By Meatball Little Treasure |

There is a zoo further inside. The zoo here has more animals than the one in Tianjin. You can see first- and second-level protected animals here.

A very stylish park with a small zoo with many kinds of plants. You can walk around for about an hour. It is very close to Zhongshan Road. If you have free time, you can go for a walk. The air is very fresh in the morning. It is also very close to Xiamen Hotel.

The park behind the hotel " href="/***" target="_blank" class="link _j_keyword">Zhongshan Park is very famous. The two decided to go there to kill the morning time. There is an amusement park and a small zoo in the park.

The plants in the south are full of tenderness.

Zhongshan Park is not the only one. But the four words "天下为公" make this place more historical. The lake water flows quietly, and ducks swim leisurely in groups of three or five. On such a weekend, I am the only outsider holding a camera and taking photos, while others sit on the grass and chat, so happy.

We walked around the park until we came to an area with recreational facilities. You said that was your favorite. Then we rode on the UFO car. It felt good to ride that car together. We walked around the park and found the zoo. We went in. At first we were still hesitating at the door whether we had to pay or not, then we asked others and they said it was free. So we went in... and saw many animals.

Zhongshan Park is as representative as Zhengzhou’s People’s Park. There are many old men and women enjoying the cool air in the park.
