Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen. People often buy souvenirs here, and there are always sales activities during holidays.
The buildings here are all arcades, with pink and creamy white as the main colors, and a strong Nanyang style. The colorful night view and a wide variety of Fujian and Taiwan snacks are also a major feature of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street.
The more famous snack shops include Bapo Shaocao Zhenchao and Huangzehe Peanut Soup, which are worth a try.

One of the must-visit attractions in Xiamen——Zhongshan Road
Zhongshan Road is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen. It has a large flow of people, many commodities and a great reputation. So far, when people mention Xiamen, they will think of Zhongshan Road. When you come to Xiamen, Zhongshan Road is one of the must-see attractions!
The buildings on Zhongshan Road are all arcades with milky white as the main color. The walls and wooden windows add a bit of charm to the arcades, which have a strong Nanyang style.
Walking forward, you can see the world-famous Huang Zehe Peanut Soup Shop, which sells all kinds of special Minnan snacks. Many tourists come here every day. You can also see several time-honored tea shops connected together, as well as the Gulangyu Pie Shop.
Not far ahead is the Printemps department store, which houses many domestic and international first-line clothing brands with a complete range of products and novel styles.
There is a big banyan tree near the intersection of the west section of Shangshan Road. Under the banyan tree is the very famous Jukou Street in Xiamen. Also known as Women's Street, there are dozens of clothing stores of all sizes. In addition to fashionable women's clothing, there are also women's shoes, accessories, hair design, etc. Many young women like to shop here.
Walking through the bustling crowds on Zhongshan Road, I always slow myself down and savor the beautiful scenery!
I am Nutshell and Sugarjar, the landlord of Tianjin Wudadao B&B, sharing a warm life and a life with attitude.
Maybe I was not in the right mood when I went to Zhongshan Road, or maybe many styles of Tianjin and Xiamen are really similar, like the unique arcades on Zhongshan Road, I just didn’t appreciate them.
It happened to be a bit cloudy and rainy that day, so it was very convenient to walk under the arcade.
Nuts and nuts, from a review website, found a roadside stall that was said to be very popular. It was so popular that there was a long queue and no seats, but the hygiene conditions were really worrying. Jukou Mixed Noodles felt a bit like a fly restaurant. I ate fried oysters and shacha noodles. As I walked forward, I found a narrow alley that was getting narrower and narrower, and in the end it could only accommodate one person.
I was really devastated at that time. The road was especially dark and there were no street lights.
Maybe, I really don’t understand%……&%……&%&
Many cities have a road called "Zhongshan Road", and Xiamen is no exception. Xiamen's Zhongshan Road also has the title of "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Street". When traveling to Xiamen, Zhongshan Road is a must-visit road and attraction. Here you can see the prosperity of Xiamen, eat Xiamen's delicious food, and feel Xiamen's culture.
Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen, with a large flow of people, many commodities and great reputation. No matter in the past or now, people must go to Zhongshan Road when they arrive in Xiamen. It represents the prosperity of Xiamen, rich in the rhythm of the times, and is the pride of Xiamen people!
The typical Nanyang arcade buildings, the colorful LED night scene, the dazzling array of Fujian and Taiwan snacks and the ancient Nanyin music echoing in the alleys and streets constitute its unique style and characteristics. It has won the title of "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Street".
It seems that most cities now have pedestrian streets, and most of them are similar. Xiamen is an old tourist city, and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street originally had a great geographical advantage, connecting to the ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island (the tourist terminal has now moved). Now if it is used as a tourist attraction alone, it seems that there are not enough attractions. Of course, there are still a few time-honored brands around, so you can visit them if you have more time.
Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street (English: AmoiYatSenRoad) is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen, with a large flow of people, many commodities and a great reputation. No matter in the past or now, when people mention Xiamen, they will mention Zhongshan Road, just like Manhattan in New York, Ginza in Tokyo and Central in Hong Kong. Zhongshan Road is a must-go when you come to Xiamen, because it represents the prosperity of Xiamen and is rich in rhythm with the times. You can enjoy the rich material world and appreciate the modern style here. Zhongshan Road is an old city block in Xiamen that has been preserved relatively intact to show the modern historical style. It has many cultural relics such as Xiaozoumalu, Chen Huacheng's former residence, and the First Chinese Church. The Nanyang arcade buildings, the colorful LED night scene, the dazzling array of Fujian and Taiwan snacks and the ancient Nanyin echoing in the alleys and streets constitute its unique style. Zhongshan Road currently has 3 provincial-level cultural relics protection sites, 5 municipal-level cultural relics protection sites, 1 municipal-level Taiwan-related cultural relic site, more than 10 historical sites and monuments, as well as intangible cultural heritage such as Nanyin. In June 2012, Xiamen Zhongshan Road successfully won the title of "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Street".
A long time ago, there was a saying circulating when traveling to Xiamen: live in Zengcuo'an, play in Gulangyu, and eat on Zhongshan Road. On Zhongshan Road, the scenery seemed to become less important. The food along the street had already dazzled me. I could switch freely between the modes of foodie and shopaholic as I wandered around eating.
Many of the popular online restaurants on Gulangyu and Zengcuo'an are also here, but I recommend the snack shops hidden in some alleys. On Zhongshan Road, you can't just go all the way, otherwise you will miss a lot of delicious food that will whet your appetite. You must get to several food branches: Jukou Street, Dazhong Road, Zhenbang Road, Datong Road, Renhe Road...
A short walk from Zhonghua City will take you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. This is the old street of old Xiamen. In the past, when business was not so developed, this street was already very lively. Almost all citizens and tourists like to visit it. Like all pedestrian streets in other cities, the food here is indispensable.
The not-so-wide streets are lined with all kinds of Xiamen local delicacies, such as shacha noodles, seafood barbecue, earthworm jelly, and fried omelette... Every day, tourists are shoulder to shoulder and file in. It is always noisy here, and there is no so-called off-season. If you don't have the local Xiamen delicacies in Zengcuoan or other places, you can come to Chinatown to have them all.
I met the same oyster omelet at the corner, which is actually oyster omelet. Many people like to go to Taiwan to eat it, but it is actually available in Fujian.
It is not too far from the Eighth Market, less than 10 minutes’ walk, perfect for a walk after dinner!
It is said to be similar to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street in Guangzhou, but when I arrived, I found that it is slightly different! This is a street mainly for buying souvenirs. The arcades on both sides are newer than Beijing Road, and the ground is cleaner. Although the shops on both sides are souvenir shops, they are all named in a variety of fresh and simple ways, such as Zhang San Crazy Milk Tea, Miss Chen's Shop, Sanwei Suwu, etc. Each one is an Internet celebrity shop, suitable for all kinds of literary and artistic photos! However, the souvenirs bought here are actually more for their design, because each one can be said to reveal the taste of literature and art, so it is a bit expensive! But it is really worth a visit, and even on Saturday, there are not many people here.
Xiamen's busiest pedestrian street. I like to go shopping in the bustling area at night. This street is very long. It starts at 6:30 and ends at 9:30.
Zhongshan Road has extensions on both sides. I wanted to visit all of them, but it was a bit confusing. There were many shops selling local specialties on the road, such as various mango cakes, durian cakes, and freshly squeezed juices. There was a small shop every 50 meters and a large shop every 100 meters.
Xiamen's most prosperous commercial street, with all kinds of shops and a wide range of goods on the street. There are arcade buildings on both sides of the street, which are very Western. Especially walking on Zhongshan Road at night is another scene (there are also many people at night)
Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is an old commercial street in Xiamen, just like Manhattan in New York, Ginza in Tokyo, and Central in Hong Kong. The pedestrian street runs east-west, about 1.2 kilometers long, starting from Lundu Lujiang Road in the west, crossing the dividing point between Siming South Road and Siming North Road in the middle, and connecting Xinhua Road and Park South Road in the east.
If you come to Xiamen, you must visit Zhongshan Road. There are so many delicious foods here that I made a map and tried them one by one. Some of them are just famous, but the taste is not amazing.
Xiamen Trip Day 4 & 5
Of the 100 travel guides for Xiamen, 100 of them will definitely recommend Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. I didn’t realize this when I was making travel guides before my trip to Xiamen.
After coming here, even a Chengdu resident can appreciate the significance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street to the people of Chengdu, just like Chunxi Road.
Xiamen's Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is much more open than Chunxi Road. It is a whole street about 1 km long, completely closed and only accessible by foot. You can see the other side of the street with a telescope.
On both sides are shops in the style of old streets with arcades, which are unique to southern coastal cities.
After walking down the street with my sister, I feel like I can eat enough just by trying the food [cover my face][cover my face][cover my face]
PS: There are signs on the walls of many street snack shops saying "Please do not play cards". I wonder if the people here like this [cover face][cover face][cover face]
Xiamen Zhongshan Road (YatSenRoad) is an east-west road on Zhonghua Street, Siming District, Xiamen. It is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen and one of the most prosperous shopping streets in Xiamen.
Located in the southwest of Xiamen Island, it was called Dahan Road during the Japanese occupation (1933-1945). Zhongshan Road is about 1.2 kilometers long, starting from Lundu Lujiang Road in the west, crossing the dividing point between Siming South Road and Siming North Road in the middle, and reaching Xinhua Road (now the site of Xiamen Public Security Bureau, the former site of Xiamen Workers' Cultural Palace) in the east, connecting with Park South Road. The streets are all Minnan-style arcade buildings, with many cultural relics such as Xiaozouma Road, Chen Huacheng's former residence, and the First Church of China.
I think the best time to visit Zhongshan Road is in the evening. You can see the neon lights and specialty shops on Zhongshan Road, taste peanut soup and other southern Fujian snacks, and walk to the west entrance of Zhongshan Road, which is the Bund of Xiamen - Lujiang Road. Across the road is Gulangyu Pier. Here, you can see the dazzling night view of Xiamen Island and Gulangyu Island.

Every city probably has such a famous commercial street.
Although they are all made up of the same merchants
But it still can't stop tourists from all over the country from visiting
Features of Xiamen Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street
It is probably the old city block with a relatively complete modern historical style.
And the unified Nanyang arcade architecture
At night, there will be a gorgeous night view with colorful lights.
Therefore, Zhongshan Road attracts
It is a scene that is easily overlooked
Of course, there are many old-fashioned delicacies hidden inside.
You need to search for it like a treasure hunt
The entire Zhongshan area can be said to be a huge food market, with decades-old brands, emerging Internet celebrity stores, citizens' favorites, and celebrities' check-ins. Considering the cost of store rental, we generally don't look for food on the main street. Several side lanes around, such as Zhenbang Road, are better places to find food. Of course, when bringing children to Xiamen, there is no need to find the stores mentioned in the guide to eat. Children's unexpected situations will make it impossible for you to check in on your food list. Therefore, it is recommended to go to Zhongshan Road to take a look, see which one is pleasing to the eye, has more customers, and is liked by children, and then you can go in and eat.
Just like every city has such a tourist street, gathering restaurants, specialty shops, etc. Now many cities have similar streets that are rebuilt in Ming and Qing style. Fortunately, Xiamen still retains some modern arcades, but the Zhongshan Road area still follows the style of arcades, but there are also some unified renovations of the facades. What is more interesting is that there are many people on the street at night, but few people during the day, because it is too hot, everyone hides under the arcades and walks, and the middle of the street looks empty.
The shops on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street are all beautifully decorated, selling candies and cakes. The pedestrian street is very long and it takes at least 2 hours to walk through it.
The most beautiful place to go at night
The Nanyang arcade features a food court and shops on the first floor. The building is quite unique, very artistic, clean and comfortable.
Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is an old commercial street in Xiamen. The buildings on both sides are arcades. It is also Xiamen’s food street.
Hello, where are you? Are you a beauty from Changsha County?
Be sure to go on an empty stomach!! There are so many delicious foods!!
The night view is very beautiful, similar to Haikou Qilou Old Street and Guangzhou Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, with southern-style buildings and unique style
It's a bit like Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street in Shanghai, but it's a bit shorter, smaller, and has average features.
It is right next to the Xiamen Ferry Terminal. The Ming and Qing architectural styles on both sides are very beautiful. You can stroll around, eat, and shop along the way.
There isn't much to go in Xiamen, so it's worthwhile to walk around the pedestrian street and eat.
It's very long, but it's just like the pedestrian streets in many places. There are food, drinks, entertainment and shopping.
A prosperous and magnificent shopping paradise, the architecture is very stylish, the best is to come at night, very beautiful
It seems that I bought fake durian, and the weight was very deducted. It was the fruit shop at the entrance of Jukou Street.
Zhongshan Road is an old city block in Xiamen that has been relatively well preserved and displays its modern historical features.
The landmark of Xiamen. Although the pedestrian streets in every city are similar and there is nothing to see, there are many Xiamen special snacks here, which you can explore in depth.
It is very prosperous and lively, and the night view is also very beautiful. Special foods and shops are lined up one after another, which makes people's appetite grow. You can try everything you see.
Oh my god, here it comes again. Didn’t I upload it once today?
Walking leisurely along the Lingnan-style arcade, although it was already past nine o'clock, the streets were still crowded with vehicles and people. All businesses were still open for business, and some snack shops even had long queues outside, just for a skewer of fried pork tenderloin.
It can be regarded as a must-visit pedestrian street in Xiamen. It combines shopping and food. You can come here to bring gifts for family and friends.
I just want to say one thing, there are so many delicious foods and there are so many people during holidays.
The pedestrian street is beautiful and lively at night and is worth a visit.
Xiamen's busiest commercial street has many local specialties and delicacies, making it a great place for shopping and eating.
On my last day in Xiamen in January 2013, I chose to have lunch at Pizza Hut, which was recommended by netizens as having the best viewing spot, in order to get a clear view of Xiamen.
A day of riding made me feel very relaxed and I didn't feel tired. I was in a good mood and continued to eat and shop in the evening. When you go to Xiamen, you can't miss the Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, where you will find many snacks.
How should I put it? It should be the central pedestrian street of Xiamen. It is a commercial street with the largest flow of people. There are a lot of delicious food. It is opposite Gulangyu Island. If you have time, you can walk around and see more special small buildings and seafood markets. 😀😀😀
I like this place very much. My friends and I feel that we have come to Xiamen only after coming here. Finally, we feel less like tourists. Most importantly, we also like the architectural style here.
Zhongshan Road is a city that never sleeps and is suitable for eating and shopping. Since I live on Zhongshan Road, I continue to walk along Zhongshan Road at night. Zhongshan Road is brightly lit at night as if it were daytime. The street is full of various shops, and the shops selling various snacks are particularly enthusiastic. It doesn't matter whether you buy or not, they will keep asking you to try them. My son often accepts all the offers.
A good place for shopping, but the food is not that great.
The best place to eat is to find those popular snacks that are popular on the Internet but are very suitable for my taste. There are many small shops hidden in the small streets and alleys on both sides of Zhongshan Road, where you can eat, drink, play and have fun.
Bustling pedestrian street, it's nice to come at night, you can stay here at night
Doesn't it look like Tianjin Binjiang Road? Zhongshan Road is still mainly a tourist attraction for foreign tourists, rather than a business district for the convenience of local residents. You can see specialty snacks and souvenir shops everywhere on Zhongshan Road, that is, some pastries, coconut cakes, pineapple cakes, durian cakes, or some dried fish and meat shops. Like Zengcuo'an, I can't feel the life of Xiamen locals in this place. In fact, during these few days in Xiamen, I didn't really experience what Xiamen people's life is like besides tourism.
There is a seafood snack street on Zhongshan Road. There are those big plates of steamed seafood. I don’t know if it tastes good. I personally feel that the seafood in Xiamen is not as cooked as in Tianjin. It’s a bit fishy.
Before coming to Xiamen, we have long admired Zhongshan Road, which is known as the pride of Xiamen people. More importantly, for a foodie who likes beautiful scenery, the Nanyang arcade buildings, the colorful LED night scene, and the wide variety of Fujian and Taiwan special snacks are what really aroused our great interest.
The bustling Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The bustling pedestrian street is crowded with people, tourists and locals blend together, forming a prosperous scene full of the flavor of the city. For people like us who have never lived by the sea, many snacks on the street vendors are unheard of, so naturally, we can only watch from a distance and not eat them casually.
The store decorations on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street are very distinctive. The decoration style of all the old shops tends to be retro, while the decoration style of those new Internet celebrity shops mostly belongs to the fresh style.
I took the subway back to Zhongshan Road, and had dinner and strolled around Zhongshan Road to see the night view. It started to drizzle when I arrived at Zhongshan Road, and the rain was getting heavier, but one good thing was that I could walk along the passage outside the shops, which was both sheltered from the rain and accessible to some places, making it more convenient to go shopping on rainy days.
Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is like Binjiang Road in Tianjin and Wangfujing in Beijing. Every city has such a commercial street with all kinds of shopping malls and shops. You can buy clothes, snacks, watch movies, and stroll around. There are also many people.
Here I want to remind you, don't search for Zhongshan Street. Zhongshan Street is in Zengcuo'an. It is mainly a commercial street with many restaurants. Most of the buildings are European style. It looks better at night. There are a lot of restaurants, but they are a bit expensive.
Xiamen’s old commercial street has a historical charm and is suitable for a stroll at night, which will give you a different feeling.
There are all kinds of shops, shopping malls, snack streets and old buildings with artistic decorations suitable for taking photos. It is not only a tourist attraction, but also a good place to eat, drink, have fun and relax with tea.
Xiamen's oldest commercial street, the Nanyang arcade buildings are beautiful, and there are many food Internet celebrity shops, such as Tong Xiaoman Tea Cake, Su Xiaotang Nougat, Yifengqingsu, etc. The names are literary and the taste is also very good, suitable for souvenirs
The arcades on Zhongshan Road have some characteristics, but the rest are just so-so, it feels like a street of snacks. The shops in Xiamen are decorated in a more artistic style, and of course the prices are not cheap.
Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen. To be more precise, it should be an area with a variety of shops, shopping malls and food.
Zhongshan Road is the core trunk road of Xiamen's old city. Both sides are Fujian-style arcades, which are very distinctive. There are many shops here, including international brands and Internet celebrity shops. The surrounding alleys are even more winding and hidden. There are also some historical sites near Zhongshan Road, which is a must-see for tourists.
The decoration of Zhongshan Road is relatively modern, so it is relatively commercial.
It is very lively and beautiful to go there at night. In addition to delicious food, there are more souvenir shops and many Internet celebrity shops.
There is a street full of souvenir shops and jewelry shops. I think it is a must-go place for tourists, but it seems that few locals will go there.
Zhongshan Road is an old city block in Xiamen that has been well preserved and displays the modern historical features. It has many cultural relics such as Xiaozoumalu, Chen Huacheng's former residence, and the First Church of China. Its unique style is made up of Nanyang arcade buildings, colorful LED night scenes, a wide variety of Fujian and Taiwan snacks, and ancient Nanyin echoing in the alleys and streets. Zhongshan Road currently has 3 provincial cultural relics protection units, 5 municipal cultural relics protection units, 1 municipal Taiwan-related cultural relics and historical sites, more than 10 historical sites and monuments, and intangible cultural heritage such as Nanyin. In June 2012, Xiamen Zhongshan Road successfully won the title of "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Street".
For an outsider, Zhongshan Road feels like Chunxi Road in Chengdu.
The only fun is visiting brothels...ugh, visiting alleys.
It’s especially special if you go there at night, don’t think too much about it.
You might even find a century-old satay noodle restaurant in the alley.
You might even find a young lady leaning against a telephone pole.
Wandering around without navigation, going wherever you want,
Every step was amazing, and it will definitely be the third highlight of your trip to Xiamen.
A pedestrian street, various Internet celebrity stores, and large shopping malls.
Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is a must-visit place for tourists when they come to Xiamen. It is similar to Nanjing Road in Shanghai, Chunxi Road in Chengdu, Wangfujing in Beijing, and Zhongshan Road in Xiamen. The most distinctive feature is the old streets with arcades on both sides. They are tall and stand alone, which is very shocking. Moreover, Zhongshanli Pedestrian Street is really very wide, and it fully embodies the broad and majestic Nanyang style.
Zhongshan Road is not only beautiful, but also has a lot of delicious food, many of which are traditional Xiamen time-honored brands. As a tourist, if you don’t know what to eat in Xiamen, then the food along Zhongshan Road is available for you to choose.
There are many delicious foods on Zhongshan Road, but most of them cater to tourists. Snacks are mainly concentrated on the main street of Zhongshan Road, and restaurants serving Fujian cuisine are mainly concentrated in the small streets near Zhongshan Road.
In fact, it doesn’t have any special features, but as one of the landmarks, you can go there for a visit at night.
Zhongshan Road is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen. The buildings are mainly arcades, all of which have a distinct Nanyang style. Looking at these well-designed buildings, you can still feel the prosperity of the past. Now it has become a specialty street.
Commercial street, but the building is quite stylish. I didn't feel much else.
One of the must-see attractions when traveling to Xiamen is the commercial pedestrian street, which has a variety of special snacks and shopping malls. The architecture is very Nanyang-style, half classical and half modern, and very beautiful.
When you come to Xiamen, you must visit Zhongshan Road, where you can feel the prosperity of Xiamen and appreciate the modern style. There are many delicious foods on Zhongshan Road, and you can choose a restaurant to sit down when you are tired.
This is a place equivalent to Nanjing Road in Shanghai and Wangfujing in Beijing. There is nothing special about the shops. You can just go there to see the night view. It gives people a very clean feeling.
Zengcuoan is a community with eight natural villages, namely Zengcuoan Community (Zengcuoan Cultural and Creative Village), Cangli Community, Qiantian Community, Xibian Community, Qianhoucuo Community, Dongzhai Community, Shangli Community and Hulishan Community.
Xiamen's oldest commercial street is the commercial leader and economic center of Xiamen. It is about 1.2 km long. It is also the only commercial street in the country that leads directly to the sea. It is a gathering place of ancient buildings, brand stores, and delicious snacks. It is just too lively and is always crowded with people day and night.
I ate a lot of local specialties and seafood. The reason why I didn't give it a high rating is that Sichuan people are really not used to not eating spicy food. I won't say more, here are the pictures.
Zhongshan North Road is also crowded at night, but locals usually don't buy things here.
To be honest, it is rare to be so familiar with a pedestrian street in a place (after all, I stayed there for 7 nights), and it is rare for a pedestrian street to make me feel good. I have been to many famous pedestrian streets in many places, including historical and emerging ones, but most of them give people the feeling of just a commercial street, without any scenery, but [Zhongshan Road] is a bit different. First of all, the road is wide, and there are no artificial decorations or facilities in the middle, so that the road is not overcrowded. (Of course, there are still many people on the road near [Zhonghua City] on weekends) Secondly, the architectural style is highly unified. From the street to the end of the nearly 1 kilometer, there are Nanyang-style arcades dominated by red and milky white, forming a continuous landscape. Third, the billboards are well controlled, basically limited to the first floor, keeping the floor clean and tidy, and there will be no feeling of neon lights everywhere. In addition, there are all kinds of specialties, and there are large squares like [Zhonghua City], which are very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun.
『TIPS』
⭐1. It is about 1 km long. The busiest areas are concentrated on both sides of [Zhonghua City] in the middle section of [Zhongshan Road]. There are relatively few people at the end of the street and the shops are relatively sparsely concentrated. Therefore, it is recommended to get off at [Zhonghua City] if you take a taxi.
⭐2. It is best not to go on Friday or Saturday nights as it will be too crowded.
⭐3. Most popular online stores have branches on Zhongshan Road, and there are more than one, so if you miss one, you don’t have to go back and look for it, there will always be one near you.
⭐4. There is a branch of Bapo Grass Jelly at the B1 floor near the entrance of Carrefour in Zhonghua City. There are much fewer people there, so you don’t have to queue up like at the one on Zhongshan Road.
⭐5. The lights on the floor will be turned off around 10:00 p.m., so come early if you want to take photos.
