I originally wanted to give up on Guangzhou Chimelong Paradise, after all, many projects have height restrictions and my daughter can't play them. But after careful research, there are still many projects suitable for children. The Hobbit Children's Park is suitable for preschool children. It is very small and not suitable for school-age children like us. It's a pity that we didn't play the Pegasus Family Roller Coaster and Happy Car, which should be considered the projects with a better reputation in the Paradise. For people like us who don't play roller coasters, it's not bad to watch the show. We won't come a second time. It feels a bit like a copycat of Disney.

Picking up the tickets went smoothly. Tourists punched in. The nearest amusement facility to the South Gate is the vertical roller coaster. Then I learned that I had to queue for 40 minutes, and I immediately resisted. In fact, there are many people queuing here in the morning. It only takes 5 minutes to wait until after the show at 4:30 and then come here to play. It is better to have a good sleep at home in the morning. The 40 minutes of queuing in the morning made me wonder if everyone is not at home for the New Year. Today is February 2nd, the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month. Isn’t today a working day?

It's just an ordinary vertical roller coaster, the excitement is okay

 

Almost every park has a big pendulum. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I immediately became interested. It seems to swing higher. What's interesting is that the staff who take photos will ask you to pose well, so the customer's payment rate is positively correlated with the master's photography. However, I observed that no one is interested in buying photos, and the super photos in Chimelong are more expensive than those in Happy Valley. A photo costs at least 70 yuan, Chongqing Happy Valley is about 20 yuan per photo, and Shanghai Happy Valley is 50 yuan per photo.

 

The third one was the bungee jumping machine. I queued for 10 minutes. The bungee jumping machine was the most exciting project for me. Although it was very short, the 2 seconds of excitement was really cool. The staff of the bungee jumping machine were quite naughty. They interacted with tourists and said that they would land after 3 seconds. 3, land, and they would not count to 12 to catch you off guard.

 

Next is the Rocket Roller Coaster. The queue is 5 minutes. The speed is relatively fast. Only the lower body is tied up, and there is no safety protection on the upper body. It is a bit like a wooden roller coaster. Then it will open. This is a bit like a wooden roller coaster. You can try it.

 

The motorcycle roller coaster is a bit like Disney's TRON Lightcycle Power Run, it also tests speed, maybe Disney copied Chimelong, hahahaha

 

The Ten Rings Roller Coaster was OK, but except for the first ride, there was no queue. It seems that there was some mistake in the morning arrangement. Maybe if you play from the north gate, the queue time may be reduced.

 

Happy Line, a very boring project, but I really enjoyed it when I was young. I just felt that the duration of each project in Chimelong was shorter than that in Shanghai Happy Valley, so it ended before I could have enough fun. I kind of missed the amusement park in Nha Trang, where each duration was much longer than that in China, and there were relatively fewer people.

 

Because of the Running Man commercial, I also got to try the U-shaped skateboard. It was more exciting than I thought. I still remember what Zheng Kai said, don't throw it out. Haha, I felt a bit like that. I was afraid of being thrown out. It ended before I had enough fun.

Chimelong Paradise is a must-visit place for people like me who like excitement. The roller coaster and the bungee jumping machine are must-try projects, which are very interesting. But there are a lot of people, especially during holidays, and you have to queue up. But the Paradise is fun only when there are a lot of people, and you can let yourself go. The prices inside are a little expensive.

I had not originally planned to go to Chimelong Paradise, as I thought it would be full of exciting amusement rides, such as roller coasters and bungee jumping. It’s scary just to think about it. If I didn’t play these, I felt that the ticket price would not be worth it. The point is that the ticket price is a bit expensive.

But before I knew it, I arrived at the entrance of Happy World with my colleagues. As it was drizzling, I hesitated for a long time whether to go in. But I still couldn't refuse the words "I'm here now"~

After spending 20 yuan to store snacks, I went in from the south gate (really don’t bring food in, the inspection is very strict, but water can be brought in). What caught my eye was the vertical roller coaster, the world’s largest. Just watching others play it made my legs weak, so I gave up decisively. In the rain, I played the rapids, which was not very exciting (the 15 yuan raincoat was worth it, not only because it was needed for playing three games, but also because it rained all day that day, I relied on it to get through it). After playing a little exciting and emboldening, I went to the bungee jumping machine. Oh my God, it was more than 60 meters, it was really a life-and-death game. I would never play this game, but I still lined up and jumped off the building. I didn’t know it until I jumped. I realized that it was actually just a moment of descent. The feeling of weightlessness was very exciting. I felt like I was on the ground before I was ready~

After the warm-up on the bungee jumping machine, I pushed my limits and rode various roller coasters from noon to the afternoon. The ten-ring roller coaster was really thrilling (the vertical roller coaster and rocket shuttle will have to wait until next time, as the ten-ring roller coaster was already my limit this time).

The scheduled performances in the park are quite good. I recommend watching all the performances, especially the exciting car special effects show, which is very good. Families who can't play exciting games can also watch the show. Watching Star Tours is also a good choice (the 4D experience is not recommended, the plot is boring, and there is not much experience).

During this trip, I found that if you don’t push yourself, you won’t realize that the things you always think you can’t do are actually not a big deal. You just don’t want to push yourself to the limit. Sometimes you can really be hard on yourself.

PS~ It was a bit of a pity that I didn’t see the 3:30 park parade because of the rain, but it was still quite enjoyable. The ticket was worth it. I look forward to riding the vertical roller coaster next time~

Chimelong Paradise is an amusement park! Common problem: When you go to any amusement park, you will compare it with other amusement parks, and the comparison object is always the Capital Happy Valley. In comparison, the Happy World is still very good!

Happy World is divided into several parks (check the official website for details, the projects and excitement levels are clearly divided, and there are pictures to show), but each park is well connected, you won't feel like you've walked too far, and the size of the park is just right. On non-working days, it shouldn't be stressful to enter the park and complete all the projects~ The most commendable thing is that all projects are open at night (unlike Happy Valley, most of the exciting projects will be closed at night)! It can be seen that the night ticket is very worthwhile, the ticket price is half of the daily price, but there are too many people and time is tight. Therefore, the best choice is to play until the end of the day!

We caught up with the autumn outing organized by the students... So, the whole garden was filled with all kinds of school uniforms, but fortunately, all the activities we wanted to play were already checked in.

We unexpectedly caught up with the Halloween party. The hospital provided free Halloween makeup. Just line up. You can only choose one from the established styles. The styles are relatively simple and partial, but what? We can line up repeatedly, pick one each time, and get the overall makeup!

As the largest and most famous amusement park in Guangzhou, there are so many things to do inside, but a coward like me can only play the least exciting ones... There are so many people on weekends, so don't go there if you can. Even if you want to go there on weekends, please go in when it opens. This coward recommends the carousel, the motorcycle roller coaster (this is the limit), the Pegasus family roller coaster, the rafting, the forest temple and various children's facilities... I really can't afford the others. The food is too expensive and not delicious, but you have to check your bag when you enter the door, which is annoying. I hope the food in the restaurant can be improved, okay?

I went there a few days ago and was very dissatisfied with the support for the military. The park did not see the words "military priority" at all, even the subway station. Why do other stations have green channels but Chimelong does not? Don't just focus on making money. There are always people behind the people's happy life. 😊

Happy World was during the Spring Festival in 2018, and I bought a ticket for the night show.

There are many projects, but there are many people during the Spring Festival, so you still have to queue up for the fun projects. And there is a height limit.

I was originally going to go to Hailing Island with my aunt and brother, but since I've been to Hailing Island, I suggested going to Chimelong! We live in Panyu District, only five minutes away from Chimelong Paradise. But we went to have a delicious morning tea nearby. We arrived at the park a little after 10 o'clock, and it was 10:30 when we parked the car. When we arrived at the park, my aunt was more excited than the two of us young people, and my uncle was responsible for taking care of the children. 😂😂 Next, let's talk about what we played in order:

【1】Vertical roller coaster

Because the first thing you come from the South Gate is vertical, there was already a long queue outside when we went there. It was great! It was Sunday, February 24th, and it was cloudy. Most of the rides, especially the roller coaster, were open, and there was no long queue. You could ride the ride very quickly after waiting for the machine to run for a round. But be aware of the weather affecting flight cancellations, as it has been raining a lot in Guangzhou recently.

Chimelong Paradise is much smaller than expected! Compared with Happy Valley, there are only a few popular spots, and you don’t know what to do after playing. So I recommend buying a package with friends, the kind that can be played together, which is both cost-effective and fun~

If there are five stars, I will definitely give Happy World one star. Really, really, it's not fun! ! ! ! ! I played a few roller coasters, bungee jumping machines and bumper cars and that was it. I really don't want to complain about the bungee jumping machine. It went up to the top, stopped for a while and then came down. It didn't stop in the middle. There was no excitement of waiting for the drop. There were very few people in the park when I went there. If there were more people, it would be super fun to play bumper cars! ! ! I didn't expect it to get colder the closer we were to departure, and a cold weather warning was issued! But that didn't stop me from spending money. It rained a little on the first night in Guangzhou, and we were worried it would rain the next day. It didn't rain at the beginning of the next day, but it started to drizzle a little after 11 o'clock.

We went to Guangzhou for three days in total, and the second day happened to be the coldest day, which was the day we went to Chimelong Paradise. Maybe it was because of the cold or maybe we arrived too early at 10 o'clock, so there were not many people. There are two machines on the right side of the ticket gate before entering the ticket gate that can exchange the tickets purchased online in advance for paper tickets. If you don't need a paper ticket as a souvenir, you can also scan the QR code of the electronic ticket recommended by the staff to enter the venue, saving the time of queuing for tickets.

Please note that you are not allowed to bring food into the park. I saw an aunt holding a black bag with bread and other things, but she was prevented from entering by a staff member who opened the bag with a small stick to check. She could only eat at the door before entering.

After entering, ugh, it was really too cold. Due to my physical condition, although I wanted to play a lot, I only played 6 games in the end. My friend was even more uncomfortable than me, so he only played 5 games and watched a show. Because it was only about 7 degrees before 10:30, there were not many people in all the games. Most of them could be played without waiting for half an hour, and some games were even empty.

After playing the pendulum, we both felt dizzy and nauseous, so we walked around. However, it got colder and colder near noon and it started to drizzle. The guy said to the girl in a rude tone: If I take a picture of you, you have to take a picture of me too!

We didn't enter the interstellar battle. After a break, we walked to the forest temple next to it. There were no tourists, so we asked the staff how this project was played.

The staff said that it's not scary if you walk in and play.

My friend and I decided to walk in to relieve the boredom and discomfort. When they saw us go in, several people followed us. The staff who had been waiting were suddenly happy to see several people queuing up. My friend and I were the first to go in. It was very dark inside. We couldn't see clearly, so we stretched out our hands to test. Because my friend and I walked a little slowly at the beginning, a couple behind us stuck very close to us. I signaled to my friend to let them go first, but they reacted strongly and said: What are you doing? Why don't you leave?

It turned out to be the funny couple from before. The man was a little scared and hugged his girlfriend tightly, refusing to go forward, thinking that there would be some monsters ahead.

My friend and I smiled at each other in the dark, and continued to lead the way. I walked faster and faster, and everyone followed behind me, just walking and walking... This project was just groping in the dark. There were some strange noises and monster statues, but it was actually nothing. The amazing effect was: after coming out, the discomfort my friend and I felt was relieved a lot.

The Forest Temple is really useful. I recommend people who are not feeling well to go there for a walk.

Recommended areas and activities for those who bring their babies: Hobbit Children's Kingdom (which contains the Baby Park and some activities suitable for young babies), Chimelong Children's Driving School, and bumper cars (for children over 90 cm in height).

Secondly, there are really a lot of people at the north gate 😜. That afternoon, at 11 o'clock in the morning, there were countless people queuing to play the vertical roller coaster (at the south gate, so maybe everyone will play this as soon as they enter the park), and the big pendulum. In the afternoon, there was no one at the big pendulum 🙈🙈.

Then let's talk about food. You can bring water, rice balls, and fruits in. Because the food inside is not delicious and expensive.

Don't worry, the toilets, trash cans, and lounge chairs are all well provided, so don't worry.

I suggest you go and have fun, but don’t go on holidays👏👏. Haha.

We were in the park all day, and since it was a weekday, Happy World felt like it was reserved for everyone. We could play each ride as many times as we wanted, as the rich did. Although in fact our psychology and physiology did not allow it, haha. Get off at Hanxi Changlong on Line 7. There are signboards all the way. It is easy to find. You can walk to the South Gate in five minutes. The South Gate is closest to the vertical roller coaster. You can get there as soon as you enter. The North Gate is closer to the screaming zone. I entered from the South Gate, so I went to play the vertical roller coaster as soon as I entered. There were not many people. It took about ten minutes to get there. The electronic ticket purchased online can be entered directly with the QR code, and there is no need to exchange it for a paper ticket. It is best to get a map after entering the park, which will be much more convenient. The markings on the map are very clear. The gate opens at 9:30, and there is already a long queue for those who arrived at 9:00.

Vertical roller coaster

I entered through the south gate, so I went to the vertical roller coaster first. There are two very high and almost vertical drops, which are quite exciting. I couldn't open my eyes on the first drop, but I got used to it the second time and went down with my eyes open. The speed was very fast and the duration was very short. I didn't feel anything when it ended. Maybe it was because it was the first one I played, so I didn't think it was particularly fun.



Big Pendulum

Swinging back and forth, there is still a strong sense of weightlessness. At the highest point, the height is still a bit high. It takes a long time and the feeling is more profound. It is quite fun. You can also see the scenery at the highest point, which is quite good.



Rocket Coaster

I personally think it is the most fun roller coaster project. It is relatively new, with backwards, flips, and drops. It is also a bit longer. There were not many people when I went there. Although the equipment was under maintenance and we waited for a while, it was still quite fast and worth it. Highly recommended!



Motorcycle Roller Coaster

I don't recommend it. I had to wait in a long line. The equipment was a bit old, it was shaking all the way, and there was nothing exciting. The whole process was very boring.



Ten Ring Roller Coaster

The one I waited in line for the longest time, almost two hours. It just flipped a lot. If I had to choose, I would rather ride the Rocket Coaster a few more times. But since it was my first time here, I tried both.



U-shaped skateboard

The speed is quite fast and the height is quite high. It is still quite fun. It is in the top three fun rides, comparable to the big pendulum. There were many people queuing, but because it was quite fast, the queue was not particularly long.



Pirate Rafting & Whitewater Rides

I didn't go to the Yellow River the first time I went there, but I was determined to try it. I regretted it after trying it. Because it would get wet, many people bought raincoats with shoe covers, which cost 15 yuan a set. Both projects need to be used, so don't throw them away after playing one project. Pirate rafting is to sit on a boat and shuttle through the artificial river. From time to time, artificial water curtains and nozzles will appear, and you will be wet to avoid buying the raincoat in vain, but it is really boring. Rapids rafting is to sit on a boat, go up a slope, and then rush down, splashing a layer of water, and get wet again. After playing the vertical roller coaster, this is really too boring.

Overall, the project is quite exciting and worth a visit. I arrived at 9 am and left at 5:30 am. I played several major projects. I don't know if it's worth going again next time to see some performances.

I was not disappointed at all. There were few people, no queues, and it felt like I had booked the whole place. It was awesome. The purpose of coming here was to ride the "roller coaster".

The first game is similar to "River Rafting" - warm up at the beginning, luckily I brought my own raincoat, which is very waterproof;

The second one........... "Big Pendulum" - a little dizzy, nothing happened, very sober, seemed to be "on top" with mouth open, a little ugly;

Walk around slowly and play all the games you can play, and if you really have time, play all the games you want to play.

There is nothing serious in the future, so I don’t plan to play these “stimulating” games anymore, but that’s not necessarily the case, hehe~

I went there with my classmates a few days after Halloween in 2017. It was fun.

The tickets for Happy World are a set of 2 adults and 1 child that I bought on the official app.

I think that I came to Happy World to play games and facilities, and I can't walk much, so I don't want to rent a stroller again.
