Nangang Millennium Yao Village was first built in the Song Dynasty and has a history of more than a thousand years. It is known as the "No. 1 Yao Village in the World".
The ancient village was built on the mountain. Now, only more than 200 people and 368 ancient houses built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as the village gate, village wall, stone slab road, stone coffin tombs, etc. are preserved.
According to experts, the Millennium Yao Village is the largest, oldest and most distinctive Yao Village in China and even in the world, and can be called a world architectural wonder.
The hometown of the world-famous music "Dance of the Yao Nationality". In addition to appreciating the quaint houses, you can also enjoy the re-enactment of the Yao farming and wedding scenes.

Let me first state the conclusion. This place should not be reached unless necessary.
I originally thought that the beautiful scenery was hidden in a remote place where few people were accustomed to. As a result, I found that I was too naive! Is it worth buying a ticket online for 100 yuan? There is no harm without comparison. Compared with the Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang, Guizhou, the difference is really a bit big. This village is too small. An hour of slow walking is enough. There is not much to see. The scenery is just the ancient village on the mountain. The second is the hidden charges. The scenic spot is on the mountain. It takes more than ten minutes to drive up the winding mountain road. There are insufficient facilities and too few parking spaces. Therefore, driving up the mountain is not allowed. You can only park your car in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and transfer to the scenic bus. This does effectively solve the problem of traffic jams and queues. But the problem is that the fee is 25 yuan per person. This is a monopoly operation. If you don’t want to pay this money, you still have to walk up the mountain for seven kilometers. It’s a bit unpleasant to do this.
What is even more difficult for me to accept is that this scenic spot is too insincere to treat tourists. In ethnic minority villages like this, there are usually singing and dancing performances. The level is not important, everyone just wants to have fun. When the number of people comes together, the artistic conception will follow. Like the Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village in Guizhou, the entrance is played with long bamboo flutes, and rows of old men and girls dress up to welcome with wine. This is the Miao people's door-blocking wine, and the subsequent singing and dancing performances are also lively. But this Nangang Millennium Yao Village in Qingyuan is said to have a 40-minute performance, and the whole process is six or seven people jumping on the stage. That's fine, it can convey the elements of national culture, right? But the problem is that the performance was interrupted immediately after 10 minutes, and the next thing to go was a calligraphy auction. The scenic spot invited a calligrapher named Jiang Xin to create on the spot first, and then auction the stock. This operation is undeniable. But after thinking about it carefully, it really makes people feel that this scenic spot has spent a lot of effort on generating income from beginning to end, but the cultural elements can't convey a decent shadow.
If you want to come to this place, I think it would be better to use it as a resting place during your trip. If you are tired of visiting other places during the day, you can stay here at night and experience the ethnic homestay style, which is a different experience. If you discuss it with the innkeeper in advance, you may be able to get him to bring you in and waive the entrance fee.
The Yao people in history were as tough as the Miao people. But their power was still weaker. Until today, I didn't feel their cultural characteristics in this Miao village. I'll just mention two. One is the cattle culture. The decorations of cattle horns and cattle heads can be seen everywhere in the scenic area. The other is that there is a Panwang Temple built at the highest point of the scenic area, where Pangu King and Pangu Po are worshipped. Pangu King holds a round moon in his hand, which means opening the sky; Pan Po holds a big bowl in her hand, which means splitting the earth. It is said that the Yao people have the Panwang Festival, which is a national intangible cultural heritage. Every year on the 16th day of the tenth lunar month, the Yao people hold a Panwang Festival singing party.
That's it!
Nangang Millennium Yao Village is located in Nangang Ancient Village, Sanpai Town, Liannan Yao Autonomous County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, 27 kilometers southwest of the county seat. It was built in the Song Dynasty and has a history of more than a thousand years. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a famous historical and cultural village in China, and one of the ten most beautiful ancient villages in Guangdong. Nangang Village, as the largest Yao Village in Liannan Eight Pai, is the largest, oldest and most distinctive Yao Village in the country. The Yao people living in the village mainly include four clans: Deng, Tang, Pan and Fang.
It's just so-so. You have to drive a long mountain road to get up the mountain. When I bought the ticket at the ticket office, they tore up the combined ticket for me without asking me.
The combined ticket included the entrance fee and the song and dance performance. The performers in the song and dance performance all looked listless, even more perfunctory than when I did radio gymnastics in elementary school. We left before we even finished watching the show.
You have to climb stairs to get to the Yao village. The stairs are uneven, so people with mobility issues are advised to think carefully. The best view is halfway up the mountain, so there is no need to go to the temple on the top of the mountain.
I feel that the scenery here is more suitable for sketching and photography enthusiasts. There is no need to spend 98 yuan to come up here just for sightseeing. The homestay on the mountain is also very simple. Locals set up stalls on both sides of the road to sell things, but what they sell are common goods in the scenic area, and there are no special products.
I want to come a second time... It's quiet, I suggest you stay overnight and get up early in the morning to see the beautiful scenery.
Be sure to buy tickets online in advance. The ticket price on site is 98 (not worth it). The Yao Village is not big and I can visit it in an hour. The singing and dancing performances are nothing to watch (they also promote things). The scenery is a bit special. If it is accompanied by blue sky and white clouds, it is worth seeing. If the weather is bad, don't go.
It is best to wear flat shoes when you come here. What I want to comment on most is the show performance, which is a bit lacking in heart... They also added a selling segment, but I don't know how to design it. It is easy to go up the mountain but difficult to go down the mountain, and it is completely blocked... The scenic spots are okay, but the ancient village buildings are more distinctive...
The facilities are incomplete and there are no parking spaces. It does not meet the requirements of a 4A scenic spot at all. I suggest that everyone report it and have it delisted.
The Yao Village is quite large. It takes time to explore the history and culture inside. The rows of blue brick houses are very unique. The air here is fresh and the people are very kind. The pace of life here is much slower, so I booked a small homestay. A pair of college students run the Yunshang Yaojia B&B. The room is clean and tidy. The sheets and quilts are changed every day. You can smell the sunshine. The balcony is beautiful! When I opened the door in my pajamas, I saw the distant mountain view. I liked it very much. It felt like I was home. I liked the feeling of returning to tranquility in the bustling city. If I come again next time, I will still choose this warm Yunshang Yaojia. It is worth recommending!
The scenic area is full of ancient houses, and there are performances to experience the customs of the Yao ethnic group. We stayed in the scenic area at night. I think this homestay is the best in the scenic area, and the owner is very enthusiastic!
Nangang Yao Village has a long history, and its reliable and accurate historical origin is still unclear. It has a history of more than a thousand years. There are wonderful local dances and a unique way for young men and women to express their love - biting hands to seal their love. There are only more than 200 local Yao people in the village, and the old ancient buildings are preserved.
There are few people here at night, it is recommended that you stay overnight
The main road is lined with businesses and inns, and the other side is full of restaurants. Most of the Yao villages off the main road are abandoned and uninhabited. The scenic area is clean and there are special people to clean it. The toilets are especially clean and worth praising. It is a very relaxing attraction.
Fortunately, there are not many tourists and cars today, probably because of the rain! After exchanging the tickets, drive the car to the free parking lot at the foot of the Yao Village! The parking lot is next to the stone steps, very close! We plan to go to the opposite hill to enjoy the singing and dancing performances first! This was taken on the small path! Go up to the hill to watch the singing and dancing! Then climb up to the pavilion to see the scenery on the top of the mountain! You can see the panoramic view of the village and then climb the mountain in the direction of the village! Endless stone stairs! Sweat all over! It is not suitable for the elderly and children under three years old! Because it is very physically demanding! There are many places to eat farm food halfway up the mountain. It takes a lot of effort to get to the top of the mountain! The scenery is beautiful! It feels like you can see all the mountains! We originally planned to stay at the top of the mountain for one night to watch the sunrise, but unfortunately the weather was not good. This time I got a special ticket for 30 yuan to come to the thousand-year-old Yao Village! If it was 80 yuan, I would definitely not come! It's not worth it!
What I like is this sense of time and vicissitudes, with silent stories everywhere... I was lucky to meet the granddaughter-in-law of the Yao King in the former residence of the Yao King. She still lives in the ancestral house. I had a hearty farm meal in the Yao village, and had a great chat with the eldest sister and her son. We simply cooked together: the chicken was killed freshly after running all over the mountain, the pumpkin seedlings were picked by ourselves, the peanut oil was squeezed from the peanuts we grew, and the rice was produced by ourselves and cooked with mountain spring water. Only salt was added, and it was so fragrant. It was a blessing to eat amidst delicious food and beautiful scenery.
It's still good. You can walk around and stop to have a look. There are many things for sale. The red glutinous rice wine and small eggs are very good.
Accommodation is all in the scenic area, so you need to book the scenic area ticket before you can enter the accommodation. The ticket is 145.56 yuan for two people, including insurance for two people. There are many special snacks and some specialties on the Millennium Ancient Road. When you walk halfway up the mountain, you will see this scenery. This is the south gate of the ancient city wall. It is worth mentioning that Yaozhai tofu is sold here, and the soy milk and tofu pudding are very delicious.
Yao dolls, a big sister singing Yao songs, Yao costumes with cow skulls, many Yao villages, Chinese pastoral dogs with pure and cute eyes, dozing off, and nice scenery on the top of the mountain. Hand-ground tofu pudding. There are many shops along the way selling local specialties and food, such as tofu pudding and jelly. There is a temple on the mountain, but I don’t have any religious beliefs so I didn’t go in to worship.
Don't come, it's very bad, don't want to say more, no characteristics
It's worth going, but there are too many people...
If you want to go, remember to buy tickets online one day in advance or before 9:20 in the morning (60 yuan online), otherwise it costs 98 yuan on site. I went there during the Spring Festival. There was a traffic jam in front of the scenic spot for 2 hours before I could enter. Because there were many tourists and the tickets were expensive, plus there was nothing to see in the scenic spot, the experience was very bad, like eating a dead fly, just think of it as losing a few hundred yuan to go to the mountains. You can go there in the off-season, it should be pretty good in the morning and evening, but don't go during the Golden Week. We went down the mountain at around 7 pm and saw at least hundreds of people stranded at the entrance of the scenic spot (two lanes, too many people, cars can only be parked in the parking lot)
Don't go to this shop!!! We stayed in the village, and when we woke up in the morning, we saw that they had breakfast. It was on the left hand side of the Dejin Stone after a few steps. We asked the price and they said a rice noodle roll was 5 yuan. But when we finished eating, they actually raised the price to 10 yuan!!! What a profiteer!!! Totally disappointed!
I went there the night before the Chinese New Year. My boyfriend and I drove there last night and there was no accommodation. We could also stay in Liannan County and go there early in the morning, because there would be traffic jams if we went there too late. It's suitable for walking around. It's fun. The local clothes are quite interesting. The scenery and air are very good. I will go there next time
After entering the mountainous area of Liannan, the colors of ethnic minorities become more and more intense. The older people all wear Yao-style clothing, and most of the houses have eaves and look quite old. Nangang Yao Village is built on a hill, leaning against the mountain. Looking into the distance, you can see continuous peaks and forests, dark green like an ink painting.
Most of the people who used to live in the village moved to the foot of the mountain, and now only a few elderly people are left. Although the people living here rely on the mountain for their livelihood, most of them live in poverty. The tour guide who explained the tour to us only earns a few dozen yuan a day. During lunch, we met an elderly man in his 80s who lived alone and had no one to take care of him. He set up a small stall on the hillside of the village and made a living by selling sweet potatoes, peanuts and some medicinal herbs. My husband couldn't bear it, so he bought a small bag of peanuts and forced 60 yuan on the elderly. According to the restaurant owner, there are many tourists like my husband. I was very moved.
Overall, the Yao Village has simple folk customs, beautiful scenery, and rich history and culture, which is worth a visit. However, there are also some shortcomings, such as the lack of standardized management and the scenic area is a bit dirty and messy, which I hope can be improved.
I don’t know why Nangang Yao Village appears again, since there is already a thousand-year-old Yao Village. . . Same place, different name, but I have already written a travelogue. If you are interested, you can take a look: http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/7688114.html
The Millennium Yao Village has really existed for a thousand years. Although the village is not big, it is only more than 300 meters up. The highest point is a temple, which blesses the safety of the whole village. It is said that the houses in the whole village cannot be higher than the temple. There are many agricultural products in the village. There are villagers selling peanuts along the way. I really don’t know how much money they can make. In addition, there are inns and restaurants along the way. Overall, the scenery is okay, but it is not very colorful. You can come here to feel the atmosphere of ethnic minorities.
The old house feels really good. Most importantly, the surrounding mountains are also very nice. It feels like a home in the mountains.
The scenery is really beautiful and there are few people. It is more suitable to drive up the mountain.
It's a place with very unique ethnic culture. The environment is beautiful, the air is fresh, and the locals are very simple. It's worth a visit if you have the chance. The village is not big and you can walk through it in half a day, or even a day if you walk slowly!
The environment is beautiful, and the mountainside has a fairy-like feeling. The food is just average, very expensive, and not very delicious. It has become very commercialized.
Environment: The scenery is beautiful and there are not many tourists. It is worth seeing.
Transportation: The location is relatively remote, and the roads are all mountainous, so it is more convenient to drive by yourself.
Price: The ticket to the Yao Village is 80 yuan per ticket, which is a bit expensive. It will be cheaper if you book online, but you have to book one day in advance.
It was my first time to visit a place where ethnic minorities live. The place was a little simple, but very unique. I had to go through 18 bends on the road to get in. The mountains there were very beautiful.
Everything is good. Coming to this place, I can completely empty myself and not worry about anything. All the worries about work and relationships can be put aside. I can quietly be moved by myself.
The ancient Yao village in the deep mountains of Tibet is very primitive and worth a visit.
We took the 13:00 noon bus at Laoqiaotou. Someone collected money after we got on the bus. Many Yao people from the mountains came out to the county town to buy goods, most of them were elderly. After getting on the bus, we tried to sit inside because they were all elderly. Our destination was the farthest, so we sat at the back to make it easier for them to get off without blocking the road.
Liannan-Yao Village Shuttle Bus: The destination is Yao Village, but because everyone in the village has moved down to the foot of the mountain, the shuttle bus only goes to the kindergarten at the terminal (that is, the bus pick-up and drop-off point). It takes about 20 minutes to go up and take a motorcycle. The price to the pick-up and drop-off point is 7 yuan. If you want to go to the entrance of Yao Village (ticket office), it will cost 30 yuan per person. In fact, you can find a motorcycle to take you up, or stop a car, but we are unfamiliar with the place, so we followed the ticket seller's advice and paid 30 yuan to the end. After getting off at the pick-up and drop-off point, a small van will take people who want to go up the mountain. During the period, the ticket seller will persuade you to buy a package ticket for 50 yuan (60 yuan for round trip, 10 yuan discount for the package ticket), which includes your ticket when you go down the mountain. It's the so-called package ticket. It depends on the individual. We didn't choose to buy it because it felt a bit cheating. Because the ticket seller was a little guilty when he said it, hahaha~~ So we paid 30 yuan to the entrance of the scenic area. As for how to come back, I always feel that we will have good luck.
It takes about 30 minutes from Liannan to Yao Village. I bought the tickets online in advance (it is recommended to buy them two days in advance). After checking the tickets, there was no official ticket, but a printed paper was directly given. Because I had booked accommodation online in advance, I went upstairs to put my things and then slowly tour.
Back to the scenic area, I suggest you divide it into three parts. One part from 12 noon to 6 pm is enough for fun. There are no street lights at night, so don't run around, it's easy to get lost.
The village is divided into two parts, the left and the right. We stayed in the viewing platform room on the right, so we passed the Ancient Stone Museum and Yaowang House on the way up.
, I have finished watching the scenery on the right side. After checking in, I walked out of the middle road with the highest photo rate. Because the room is located at the highest position, I went directly to Panwang Temple, and then walked down the road from the temple, saw the tofu skin workshop, drank soy milk and ate tofu pudding. (The tofu pudding was not clean. I found a big mosquito halfway through eating it. I didn't dare to eat it. I ordered a cup of soy milk. When the boss collected the money, he didn't take the money for the soy milk. They were all very kind~ The tofu skin was delicious. We wanted to take it with us, but we didn't have room to pack it when we climbed the mountain the next day. If you are driving by yourself, it is recommended to take more back. It is not expensive and the price is moderate.) It is made of mountain water, so the taste is particularly good. The middle road takes a lot of time because the scenery is so beautiful. We occasionally walk into the alleys on the left or right, but the scenery is more complete on the middle road. Chatting with the owner of the inn along the way, saying hello to the uncle, watching the noisy tour groups coming in waves, they flashed in a few minutes, and it felt a pity to miss the beauty of the Yao Village.
After we went down the middle road, we went to the Yaozhai stage which we could see from the top of the mountain. There was no activity on that day, but there seemed to be an activity the next day, a singing competition. The scenery there was also very beautiful. It is worth going.
When we came back, we walked along that long road and arrived at the ebony sign of "Millennium Yao Village". The road on the far left led to the village gate.
I am Agui in the Yao Village. I can see the changes of the Yao Village throughout the year. The scenery is beautiful and very suitable for photographers to take pictures and relax. The facilities of the scenic area and the inns have been greatly improved. The inns basically have independent bathrooms. Our Yao people are very simple and warm. It snows here in winter, so friends who like to play with snowmen should hurry up.
Are you interested in catching pheasants and digging yams?
Tickets are a bit expensive, accommodation is poor, and there are many mosquitoes
I drove there and stayed there for one night. There were many mosquitoes. The ticket price was 80 yuan, and the student ticket was only for primary and secondary schools! The accommodation was 230 yuan for two rooms. There were glutinous rice cakes to eat, which were delicious.
The thousand-year-old Yao village in Nangang is built on the mountain, with the village gate located halfway up the mountain and Panwang Temple built on the top of the mountain. The unique row of Yao villages, beautiful natural scenery, and kind and warm Yao village people all made me linger.
It should be the largest and best preserved Yao village in Liannan. It can be called the Millennium Yao Village, and its history is also very long. I like clean attractions. I have been to a Yao village in Shaoguan before. The dilapidated houses were almost collapsed, and the ground was full of garbage. I completely lost interest in visiting. Nangang Millennium Yao Village is a semi-developed attraction with a good environment and is kept quite clean. Moreover, the village is full of aboriginals, wearing ethnic costumes to walk through it, which is not deliberate but full of style. In short, good reviews~
There is an entrance fee here, 80 RMB. I bought it on Taobao one day in advance for 58 RMB. I exchanged the ticket by giving the seller's text message to the ticket seller. Although it was Saturday, there were not many tourists. Most of them seemed to be self-driving. There were two tourist buses. Compared with other crowded attractions, this place has an unknown advantage.
Nangang Millennium Yao Village is located in Liannan County. It is currently the largest, oldest and most distinctive Yao village in the country and is known as "the No. 1 Yao Village in China."
The village was built in the Song Dynasty and is one of the ten most beautiful ancient villages in Guangdong.
As a place where ethnic minorities live, Nangang Yao Village is quite unique. However, even among Cantonese, not many people know about this Yao Village.
【transportation】
1) Self-driving: Starting from Guangzhou, take the Guangqing Expressway and Qinglian Expressway, turn into S261 at the Sanpai Expressway Exit, and turn into X397 at the fork of Sanpai Yao Village and Nangang Yao Village according to the road signs, and go all the way up the mountain. The whole journey is 250 kilometers and takes about 3.5 hours.
2) Public transportation: Take a bus from Guangdong Provincial Bus Station or Luochongwei Bus Station to Liannan (about 4 hours), and then take a bus from Liannan County Bus Station to Nangangpai (should leave at 2:30 pm, half an hour drive). If you charter a bus from Liannan to Nangangpai, the one-way price should be more than 80 yuan.
【Tickets】
80 yuan/person, free parking.
【stay】
1) There are many farmhouses in Nangang Yao Village where you can stay. The room rate is about 120 yuan, and most of them do not have independent toilets;
2) There are International Hotel and Yao Culture Hotel in Liannan County, the price is about 250-350;
3) There are a large number of hotels to choose from in Lianzhou city, with prices ranging from approximately 200-300.
【diet】
There are many farmhouses in Nangang Yao Village that provide catering services, and the local vegetables and meat are very delicious.
【specialty】
There are many local specialty stores in the village, I will only talk about the ones we bought:
1) The black glutinous rice wine sold at the stalls in the village has an alcohol content of 8% and is sweet and delicious;
2) The tofu skin sold at the Yaozhai Tofu Workshop is especially delicious, and you can watch the whole production process.
The ethnic customs are very simple and the natural scenery is very beautiful, but the transportation is not very convenient.
When I went there by myself, I didn't do my homework, took the wrong bus, and walked several kilometers. The Yao Village is quite interesting and worth a visit. There are quaint villages and natural scenery there.
A small village that has changed just to boost the economy! Yes, it is a Yao village, with terraced fields, pavilions built on the hillside, mountains, water and 90% tourists.
I took advantage of the New Year's Day holiday to drive to Lianzhou and visit the thousand-year-old Yao Village. There were not many people and the scenery was okay. It is basically a theme park that has been artificially renovated. There are some terraced fields around. In this season, there are only some weeds growing in the fields, but they are still green from a distance. There are some Yao dwellings, which are all newly built or renovated in recent years. I didn't see any old houses. The houses look similar to those in Han villages. There are regular Yao song and dance performances in the village, and there are interactive sessions with the audience, which is similar to many other attractions. Overall, it's okay, mainly because there are not too many people, maybe because it's winter.
I drove there on my own. It happened to be the holiday of the Anti-Japanese Military Parade, so there weren't too many people. Parking spaces are a bit tight. During the May Day and National Day, I guess you have to park your car on the roadside outside the scenic area. Tickets are 80/person. Accommodation is relatively cheap. There are still many inns around 120 yuan, but the facilities are relatively simple. People who don't demand too much will not care when they go out. Most inns have public toilets, and you have to queue up to use the toilet when there are many people. For food, generally those who run inns will open restaurants, so there is no need to worry about not having a restaurant. Eating chicken is still the focus, after all, it is much more delicious than the feed chicken in big cities. The village is not big, and it takes at most an hour to walk through it. Many houses have not been repaired and look like they are about to collapse. There are many dogs in the village, but they are very friendly.
The transportation is still inconvenient. It should be one of the few ethnic minority villages in Guangdong. It is worth a visit.
It would be nice to stay for a day to enjoy the local culture and scenery. It is not advisable to rush to walk around. It is better to find a local festival before coming back.
The road is nice, but it is better not to come here during festivals. There are too many people, and there are also many houses being built outside. It is questionable whether it is worth coming here in the future.
I came here when it was raining heavily. It was all foggy. The air in the mountains was very good and the terraces were beautiful. If it was sunny after the rain, it would definitely be beautiful here. The red glutinous rice and black glutinous rice wine here are delicious!
Nangang Yao Village is located among the mountains and built on the mountain. It is ancient and has a beautiful scenery with clear water and green mountains.
It has a strong sense of time, rich ethnic characteristics, and beautiful buildings. The transportation is a little inconvenient for self-guided tourists.
The scenery is really great. Looking at the endless mountains behind, I feel refreshed.
The thousand-year-old Yao village is a beautiful place. There are many tourists and the road up the mountain is congested, but we rode motorcycles up the mountain unimpeded, hehe!
The original ecology is worth visiting. Now there are basically no electric lights in the village, and it is pitch black at night.
I am from Liannan myself, and the most beautiful place is of course my hometown. I breathe the fresh air and learn about the history of the Ba Pai Yao.
On the first night of the tour, I went to see the bonfire party, which I thought was great. The show was great, and we all had a lot of fun interacting with each other.
The next day, we went to the thousand-year-old Yao Village. To be honest, I always like those ancient buildings, dilapidated, but they can bring me shock. There are not many people and the air is good.
Every time I go there, I have a different feeling. Meet up with a few friends and have a drink and chat.
It's not big. I went there on May Day. There weren't many people. The scenery was OK.
At the entrance of the stone wall outside the ancient village, several ancient pine and cypress trees are nestled, as if they are the last guardians of the ancient village. When you step into the entrance of the stone wall, you will feel as if you are in another world. The rich customs of the Yao people thousands of years ago suddenly appear before your eyes, and the wind seems to carry a hint of mystery.
Ethnic customs, transportation is very inconvenient after all, it is a relatively remote and backward place, Yao performances, understand the living habits of the Yao people. If you want to go, it is recommended to join a group or drive by yourself, you will be ripped off if you charter a car there!
We arrived at the Yao village in the afternoon after a long journey. There were few tourists because it was not a holiday, and the weather was a bit humid but sunny. The Yao people said, "It has been raining and foggy for more than a month. You are so lucky today." The facilities are simple but clean. For example, the toilet in the square has water and paper towels but no odor, which is really great. The Yao village has a city gate, the Yao King's House... We visited their architectural style, customs, and tasted Yao food. The Yao people are simple and kind.
Thousands of years later, I'm still waiting for you here.
I went there by bike. I took the wrong road the first time I went there. The Yao people are very friendly. I like the old houses in the village.
After entering the ancient village, the first thing that caught our eyes was the Yao village's houses. They were primitive, simple, pure, and well-arranged. We both liked this style of architecture. There was a stone pavement under our feet, which was made of piled stones. It didn't pay attention to the uniformity of the shape, but it was somewhat casual while ensuring its solidity.
Before entering the village, you must drink the gate-blocking wine, which is a manifestation of the Yao people's warm welcome. With the beautiful Shayao girls and the Yao family's homemade wine, the simplicity and nature of the ancient village make people feel comfortable.
Before entering the village gate, we saw someone waiting at the gate from afar. After we got off the car, we climbed up the stone steps to the village gate. It turned out to be a Yao girl. They prepared gate-blocking wine for tourists. After drinking the wine, you can enter the village. This is their ancient etiquette of warmly welcoming guests. They were smiling, and I took the wine and took a sip. It was not too strong, sweet and not spicy.
After entering the ancient village, the first thing that comes into view is of course the quaint houses. Each brick and tile of them seems to reveal a sense of history. They seem to be able to speak, and they are not rough to the touch, probably because they are so old and have been polished smooth by time. There are also stone slabs under your feet, which are piled up with stones but do not look like stone slabs, and are arranged in an orderly manner. As the saying goes, the land and water nurture the people. The Yao people living in this mountain are particularly simple in temperament. There are also some stalls selling Yao ornaments and some ceramics on both sides of the road. This ancient village enters the bustle of the day early every day.
Liannan Nangang Yao Village is said to be one of the most beautiful ancient villages in China, but in fact it has a certain beautification effect, and seeing is believing... When you reach the top of the mountain and look down, you will be shocked. The mountains are surrounded and the air is very fresh, which is something you can't feel in the city. The stone road leading into the village is very steep. In fact, there are few people living in the village, and the houses are dilapidated. Many people have moved down the mountain. The mountain has only been electrified in recent years, and it is humid and full of mosquitoes...
The ancient Yao village in Nangang has a history of 1,400 years. The Yao village is more than 800 meters above sea level. The ancient village is built on the mountain, with houses stacked and staggered; the stone slabs are crisscrossed, with a clear distinction between the main and the secondary. Looking up, rows of neat and uniform classical buildings are scattered all over the hill. The ancient houses are all made of blue bricks and covered with black tiles. They are unique in shape and extremely spectacular.
Standing on the village and looking forward, the green mountains in the distance are shrouded in clouds and mist, with peaks and ridges overlapping each other, stretching for thousands of miles, like a series of watercolor paintings rendered only in green.
The thousand-year-old style of the Yao village is fully displayed in the sunshine and breeze. Such a harmonious picture makes people feel comfortable.
In the early morning, the whole Yao village is shrouded in a peaceful atmosphere. They have been quiet like this for thousands of years. In a sense, this village is like a soul, and time will make a soul more and more moving.
Is this scene because young and middle-aged people go out to work to earn money? The corn in the hands of this Yao elderly woman may be everything in her life, but there is no sadness or resentment in her eyes.
Yaowa, who studies hard at the door, has no decent furniture at home. The only thing he can be proud of is the award certificates all over the wall.
