It is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. The other three are Keyuan in Dongguan, Liangyuan in Foshan and Yuyinshanfang in Panyu.
The “Qinghui” in Qinghui Garden is taken from the meaning that the kindness of parents is like the sunshine. It is a typical Lingnan garden style, with a small area and exquisite garden.
There are a large number of decorative and ornamental ceramics, plaster sculptures, wood carvings and glass in the park. Among them, brick carvings and colored glass are particularly beautiful.

We found something very interesting when we entered the garden! Many plants in the garden look delicious! Longan, ginkgo, frangipani, sapodilla, sterculia, jackfruit... Some of them we have never heard of, and they seem to be very delicious after reading the introduction, but unfortunately in winter, most trees are bare, with no flowers or fruits. It must be beautiful if you come here in spring or autumn. Another major feature of Qinghui Garden is the beautiful glass windows. Various colors of glass are painted with calligraphy of flowers, birds and figures, decorating pavilions and buildings. Whether indoors or outdoors, it is super beautiful to see through the light. The garden covers a large area, one garden is connected to another, and there are pavilions, towers, bridges and flowing water in the courtyard. The garden landscape is very delicate and beautiful, and each area has its own name and characteristics. The rockery seems to be the commanding height of the garden. I finally climbed up and took a look... There is no scenery, and it is blocked by trees all around. The carp in the pond is super fat, and there is a pair of mandarin ducks swimming around.
I have a plan to take my friends to Qinghui Garden in the downtown area to visit the garden and digest the food, so that there will be room in my stomach for more food. The garden has a delicate structure and a sophisticated layout. It integrates clear water, green plants, small bridges, flowing water, ancient walls, lattice windows and pavilions, which are very characteristic of Lingnan gardens. The lattice windows are exquisitely carved. The wooden corridor is very impressive. The pond is full of koi. The stained glass windows of Qinghui Garden are very European. After checking the information, it turns out that they were imported from Europe in the Qing Dynasty. The champions of that era were so glorious. Suddenly I thought of the champions of the college entrance examination today. It may be difficult to find a job in a few years. How many of them can buy a house on their own? Qinghui Garden has the characteristics of Lingnan gardens. As a tourist from Jiangnan, strolling in the garden still feels bright. This is an unexpected gain in the food tour.
Qinghui Garden is one of the four major gardens in Lingnan and one of the ten major gardens in China. In fact, it is an outstanding garden. I have seen the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Lingering Garden and the Summer Palace when I was very young, so I didn't have any special expectations for Qinghui Garden at first.
There are many flowers and plants in the garden. Guo Moruo planted peach blossoms at the gate of the garden. The lantern flowers are lovely, and the branches are full of carambolas. The goldfish inside are very fat, half the size of a child, and it is said that they are more than ten years old. There is also a big turtle, which does not hibernate and stands stupidly on the stone.
We spent two or three hours strolling around. We could have spent more time there.
There is a small waterfall. You can walk along the round stones in the pond to the rockery behind the waterfall. Looking out from the hole in the rockery, it seems like another world. The banana leaves beside the waterfall are also very tall. Everything in this garden is very prosperous, as if it has gone through many years. Yet it is very fresh and full of vitality.
It is said that the owner once served as a minister. After the Ming Dynasty fell, he never left the attic again to show his determination.
So Qinghui Garden is actually very spiritual and touching.
It is a famous scenic spot in Shunde, located in the center of Daliang Town. Most of the diners who come to Shunde to find food will come here to play and digest their food, because there is really no other place to go. The ticket at the door is 15 yuan. This garden is quite large. You can really kill some time by taking photos and walking around. Huagai Street is right outside the door. If you are tired of walking around, you can immediately continue to eat delicious food...
Qinghui Garden is the most famous scenic spot in Shunde. It is known as one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong along with Liangyuan in Foshan, Yuyin Garden in Panyu and Keyuan in Dongguan. Located in the center of Daliang, the garden is not large. It only takes 10 minutes to walk through it quickly, and it takes only an hour to walk around it slowly. Although the garden is small, it looks exquisite. The main attractions include the Boat Hall, Bixi Thatched Cottage, Hexagonal Pavilion, Octagonal Pond, Xiyin Book House, Shishan, Bisheng Flower House, etc. There are all elements such as rockery, strange stones, flowing water, pavilions, colorful window carvings, red flowers and green grass. It not only reveals the shadow of Jiangnan gardens, but also has some of the delicacy of Lingnan ancestral halls, which makes people a little surprised.
There is a free small park in the park. Many local elderly people come here for cultural and sports activities. You can buy tickets at the ticket office and enter the park directly for a visit!
The entire park is not big, and we walked around it in two hours. The scenery is generally good, but it is really hard to find a good place to take pictures. Because the park is located in the city center and is surrounded by high-rise buildings, the photos will be taken to the buildings behind, which feels a bit discordant. But traveling itself needs to be experienced with heart, and taking pictures is just an auxiliary memory preservation!
Qinghui Garden is one of the top ten famous gardens in China and one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. It is also a base for the inheritance of Chinese culture, one of the new eight scenic spots in Foshan, and one of the new ten scenic spots in Shunde. It is exquisitely constructed, compactly laid out, and has a high level of architectural art. The building forms are light and flexible, elegant and simple, and the garden space is clearly divided into primary and secondary, with a clear structure. It uses clear water, green trees, ancient walls, lattice windows, stone mountains, small bridges, curved corridors, etc. to interact with pavilions and towers, integrating the arts of ancient Chinese architecture, gardens, sculptures, poetry, calligraphy, and gray sculptures.
Tickets: 15 yuan, available for purchase through WeChat official account, free for seniors over 65 years old.
Walking around Qinghui Garden. It feels like a new scene at every step. The garden is not very big and there are not too many visitors.
A garden with Lingnan characteristics, once the residence of the top scholar
Feel the breath of a master
Tickets: 15 yuan for adults; 7 yuan for seniors over 60
There are a lot of people in the park, both tourists and locals.
Because there are many courtyards, it won't feel too hot
The carp in the pond are surprisingly big, hahaha~
Qinghui Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. The Lingnan Garden does not cover a large area and is mainly exquisite. There are many small animals in the garden, especially ducks, which are fat and strong. It seems that the food is quite good under the feeding of tourists.
The koi in the garden are among the largest in any garden I have visited. They are super large, fat and look very festive.
I was also surprised by the number of red-eared sliders in this garden. When I arrived at noon, the weather was good and it was a sunny day. A large group of red-eared sliders (there seemed to be a few grass turtles mixed in, and there was also an alligator snapping turtle at the bottom of the pond) were basking in the sun on the platform of the release pond, looking quite comfortable!
One of the four famous gardens in Guangdong, this Lingnan garden was built in the Ming Dynasty. Ticket price: 15 yuan per person
The buildings are exquisite, with pavilions, rockery ponds, small bridges and winding corridors. There are many restaurants and snacks around, which is a good place to digest food after dinner.
History of Qinghui Garden:
Qinghui Garden is a Lingnan garden building that was first built in the Ming Dynasty. Huang Shijun (1570-1661), the champion of the Ming Dynasty Wanli Dingwei (1607), built the Huang Family Ancestral Hall, Tianzhang Pavilion and Ling'a Pavilion in the first year of the Ming Dynasty Tianqi (1621). During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1711-1799), Daliang Jinshi Long Yingshi (1716-1800) purchased the old site, renovated and expanded it, planted flowers and grass, and gradually became a large scale. In 1805, Long Tinghuai (1749-1827) built a small square garden. In 1806, his son Long Yuanren expanded it and named it "Qinghui Garden", and invited Li Zhaoluo, a fellow Jinshi, a famous calligrapher from Jiangsu, to write the name of the garden. Later, his son Long Yuanxi (1809-1884) built Long Taichang Garden and Chuxiang Garden. After several twists and turns, Long Taichang Garden was renamed "Guangda Garden". After that, the Long family members worked hard for many years and gradually formed a Lingnan garden with complete structure and rich characteristics.
Architecture of Qinghui Garden:
Qinghui Garden in Shunde, Liangyuan in Foshan, Yuyin Garden in Panyu and Keyuan in Dongguan are known as the four major gardens in Lingnan.
When visiting Qinghui Garden, one can still clearly feel the difference in style and temperament between Lingnan gardens and Jiangnan gardens. If Jiangnan gardens are exquisite and elegant with a hint of restraint and subtlety, Lingnan gardens are grand and bold with a sense of inclusiveness and eclecticism.
Most ancient buildings were symmetrical, but the layout of Qinghui Garden is characterized by asymmetry. The southern part is a square pond that regulates the temperature and is the waterscape area in the garden. The buildings are connected by waterfront corridors; the central part has Xiyin Book House, Boat Hall, Lion Grove and other small buildings in the garden. The surrounding halls are open and sparse, and the shade is dense. It is the area with the most concentrated scenery in the garden; the northern part is represented by the Bamboo Garden, which is the living place of the owner and his family. The buildings facing north and south are lined up, with rockery, bamboos and alleys connected, and the mountains and waters are thick. The courtyard buildings, pavilions, and waterscapes are staggered in height, and the virtual and real are combined. Walking in the garden has a sense of changing scenery with every step.
The buildings in Qinghui Garden generally do not emphasize roof decoration, the eaves are not large, and the eaves are not upturned. In terms of facade treatment, a large number of floor-to-ceiling windows and screen doors are used, many of which are inlaid with lattice lattices of Qing Dynasty colored glass. They are magnificent, elegant, transparent and exquisite, which is a rare decorative style in classical gardens.
Qinghui Garden is located on Qinghui Road, Daliang, Shunde District. It is known as one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong along with Liangyuan in Foshan, Yuyinshanfang in Panyu, and Keyuan in Dongguan.
Qinghui Garden is exquisitely constructed, with a compact layout. The buildings are light and flexible in form, elegant and simple in appearance, and the garden space is clearly divided into primary and secondary parts and has a clear structure.
The entire garden is famous for its elegant and simple style of Lingnan courtyards. There are gardens within gardens, scenery outside scenery, and the scenery changes with every step. It combines the characteristics of Lingnan architecture and Jiangnan gardens.
Qinghui Garden is located at No. 23 Qinghui Road, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.
It is known as one of the "Four Famous Gardens of Guangdong in the Qing Dynasty" along with Liangyuan in Foshan, Keyuan in Dongguan, and Yuyin Mountain House in Panyu.
Qinghui Garden covers an area of about 5.1 acres. It is the first of the four famous gardens in Guangdong and a representative of Lingnan gardens.
The garden has an exquisite structure and delicate layout, integrating clear water, green plants, small bridges, flowing water, ancient walls, lattice windows and pavilions, and has the characteristics of Lingnan gardens.
The lattice windows are exquisitely carved.
The wooden corridor is very impressive.
There are a large number of decorative and ornamental ceramics, plaster sculptures, wood carvings and glass.
Among them, brick carvings and stained glass are particularly beautiful.
Ticket price: 15 yuan
Duration: 2-3 hours
Qinghui Garden Museum opening hours: 9:00--17:00
Qinghui Garden front garden opening hours: 8:30--17:00
You can enter the front garden without a ticket. If you don't have enough time, you can spend a few minutes walking around and taking pictures in the front garden to experience the Lingnan garden characteristics of Qinghui Garden.
It was raining heavily that day, which seemed to be the best time to visit Qinghui Garden.
Each scene in Lingnan gardens is connected by short corridors, so you can move to different scenes without being affected by wind and rain.
There are still many people in Qinghui Garden during the heavy rain, but you can always find a quiet place to sit for a while and enjoy the rain.
My favorite is the Babiao Tower, where each window has a different view and you can enjoy the rain and listen to the wind.
After lunch, we went to an important attraction in the afternoon, the Qinghui Garden, one of the top ten famous gardens in China and one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. It is a typical Lingnan garden style. The garden is exquisite and does not cover a large area.
As you enter the yard, you will see various trees introduced. The plants in the south are really rich. The flowers of some trees in the garden emit pleasant fragrance, and the lantern flowers are so cute and vivid that I have never seen before.
The boat hall of Miss Embroidery Pavilion is a two-story building. The boat hall is a pure land boat with the front half facing water on three sides. There is often a flat bridge connecting the bow to the shore, similar to a springboard. Being in it feels like being in a boat. This scenery is also one of the classics in the park!
The stained glass of Zhuangyuan Hall is very beautiful. It is said that if there is sunlight, it will be reflected on the ground, which is quite beautiful if you imagine it.
There are quite a lot of places to see in the park. Not only is there the architectural feature of a large garden surrounding a small garden, but there are also a large number of decorative and ornamental ceramics, plaster sculptures, wood carvings, glass, etc. that can be viewed carefully. But at the same time, there are also quite a lot of tourists here. If there were fewer tourists, you could really stay here for a good time!
Qinghui Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong.
Both sides of the gate are hung with national certification certificates and nominations!
National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit
The bus stop next to the East Gate has a restroom on the left side of the entrance and a souvenir shop next to the restroom. I came to Shunde for a two-day trip with my best friend and girlfriend. The bag I carried was quite heavy and I wanted to free my hands. I asked and found out that I could store my bag for free at the souvenir shop. I was very happy.
The story of Qinghui Garden is that Qinghui Garden was purchased by Daliang Jinshi Long Yingshi in the early days. He repaired and expanded the site, planted flowers and grass, and gradually became a large scale.
The garden is home to exotic flowers and plants, precious century-old trees, and a variety of flowers and plants with medicinal value.
With its beautiful scenery, Tsinghua University has become a masterpiece among the classical gardens in the Lingnan region.
The main attractions are divided into the Boat Hall, Bixi Thatched Cottage, Chengyi Pavilion, Flower Pavilion, Xiyin Study, Bamboo Garden, Guijilu, Bishenghua Pavilion, Doudong, Shishan, Octagonal Wall Cracked Stone Pool, etc. Each pavilion and garden building has its own unique ingenuity and Lingnan characteristics.
Different moods
Smart and elegant
Beautiful yet not vulgar...
There are hundreds of species of flowers and fruit trees in the garden, some of which are over a hundred years old.
Among them, Yutangchun, Ginkgo, Salix psammophila, Wisteria, Longan, and Glechoma longituba are over 100 years old and are classified as protected flowers and trees.
Most of the carvings and paintings on the buildings are based on the themes of Lingnan's fine fruits, flowers and birds.
The wood carving craftsmanship of the window grilles is very exquisite

Qinghui Garden is an ancient garden building built in the Ming Dynasty. The garden reflects the owner's idea of moving in the mountains and rivers and enjoying the lotus breeze in the winding paths. It was inspired by the famous line of the Southern Dynasty poet Xie Lingyun: "The climate changes from dusk to dawn, and the mountains and rivers contain clear light", so it was named "Qinghui". The garden was renovated many times by five generations of the Long family, including Long Yingshi, Long Tinghuai, Long Yuanren, Long Jingcan, and Long Zhuhui, and gradually formed a Lingnan garden with a complete pattern and rich characteristics. Qinghui Garden is known as the four major Lingnan gardens together with Foshan Liangyuan, Panyu Yuyin Mountain House (or Yuyin Garden), and Dongguan Keyuan, and is a representative work of Lingnan gardens.
We walked here because we were too full. The front garden is open to the public for free, and there is a museum inside that costs money. We walked around the front garden. Like in Guang Park, there is a calligraphy exhibition hall at the side door, which is free to enter. After the visit, you can go out from the side door to try the Wei Ji beef offal.
Qinghui Garden is located on Qinghui Road, Daliang, Shunde, in the city center. It is one of the top ten famous gardens in China and the first of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. It is a provincial key cultural relic protection unit. It was first built in the fifth year of Jiaqing (1800) and expanded to more than 22,000 square meters in 1996, fully displaying the essence of Lingnan courtyards and the characteristics of Jiangnan gardens.
The garden is full of green trees and elegant scenery. The old house of the Long family is integrated with the new expanded scenery. The garden integrates the pavilions and terraces with clear water, green trees, ancient walls, lattice windows, stone mountains, small bridges, curved corridors, etc. It integrates the arts of ancient Chinese architecture, gardens, sculptures, poetry, calligraphy, and gray sculptures. It highlights the characteristics of Chinese courtyard architecture, which are majestic, strange, dangerous, secluded, beautiful, and spacious.
The main scenic spots include Chuan Hall, Bixi Thatched Cottage, Hongqi Study, Chengyi Pavilion, Xiyin Study, Zhuwan, Guijilu, Bishenghua Pavilion, Doudong, Duyunxuan, Muyingjian, and Liufenkui.
I think it is Shunde’s business card. If you come to Shunde for a stroll, this is the first choice.
The garden, which is very Guangdong-style, covers a large area and is full of scenery.
It's good, but don't come if the weather is hot. It might be much better if it rains a little. I really want to see Qinghui Garden in the drizzle.
The May Day holiday was terrible. The park was full of people. It took a long time to queue up to buy tickets, and you couldn’t buy them online. Fortunately, the price was not expensive.
There were so many people in the yard, it was almost packed and it was difficult to move.
The yard is relatively small, there is not much to see, but there are a lot of fish.
It's really not worth seeing, but it's okay to just take a look.
If you live near Shunde, you can go in and take a look. I personally like the architecture of ancient people.
Beautiful and elegant, like a poem or a painting
A very comfortable ancient garden, beautiful beyond measure, every angle is very beautiful. You can see the history of seal carving. There are also art exhibitions on the walls of the garden.
The 15 yuan ticket is just an ordinary garden fish. It is very fat and rare.
It is in the center of Daliang, opposite the hotel where I stayed. The air in Shunde is very good and the temperature is suitable for traveling. It is not big inside, but very unique. The koi inside is huge haha!
Cantonese-style gardens are also called Lingnan-style gardens, and you must visit them when you come to Foshan.
Reasonable price
Exceeding expectations
Comfortable scenic area
Involving compact and exquisite
Rich in cultural atmosphere
Worth more brushing
In fact, I can’t really tell the difference between Jiangnan gardens and Lingnan gardens, but Qinghui Garden is really beautiful and worth a visit.
After eating, we went for a walk. The most worthwhile place to visit in Shunde is of course Qinghui Garden, which is located near the pedestrian street. It is one of the four famous gardens in Lingnan, and has the characteristics of both Lingnan architecture and Jiangnan gardens. The ticket price is 15 yuan.
We arrived at Qinghui Garden at noon. It was not big but quite quiet, with rockery and red fish swimming around in the water.
To be honest, Qinghui Garden is very different from the typical Suzhou gardens. There are big differences in layout, style and building area. The Humble Administrator's Garden is very delicate, while Qinghui Garden is much more grand. It took more than an hour to visit Qinghui Garden.
At first, I looked down at the whole garden from the hotel and thought it was very ordinary. But when I entered the garden, I was amazed at the size of the ancient ministers' mansion. 2019 is the Year of the Pig, and Qinghui Garden has opened an art exhibition with pigs as the theme.
Qinghui Garden is really big, with winding pavilions and corridors, and dark paths, which are quite exquisite and elegant. I don't know much about gardening, so I can only watch the excitement. There are various fruit trees planted in the garden, and it is the time when carambolas are ripe. The ripe carambolas fell to the ground, and I picked up a few and threw them into the trash can. The ones left on the trees were greedy, but unfortunately I couldn't reach them. But I didn't see anyone selling carambolas.
It is worthy of being the first of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. It is really beautiful, with its own characteristics, and the glass is very beautiful.
Qinghui Garden is a place where people can relax. Of course, choosing the time to visit is important because there are often many people here.
What impressed me most about Qinghui Garden is that every window and door is like a painting or a scene, which fully reflects the beauty of ancient gardens.
There are so many people... It feels like all the people in Guangdong are here. But, to be honest, if you don't come here on holidays and when there are fewer people, this place is quite suitable for taking period photos.
As one of the four famous gardens in Lingnan during the Qing Dynasty, it still has great architectural features and charm.
A very beautiful Chinese garden, the first of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. The koi in the garden pond are super fat.
Qinghui Garden, one of the four major gardens in Guangdong, has a long history, a great reputation, pavilions, towers, and carp spirits...
Although it is not as big as Baomo Garden, it is also very unique. It is suitable for short trips. The food nearby is also great.
Qinghui Garden is a quiet place in the bustling city, and looks like a miniature garden. It is rare for the ancients to build a garden in their homes. The scenic spot is full of romance and warmth. It is suitable for couples to talk about love.
One of the four famous gardens in Guangdong, you must go there when you come to Shunde. I went in at about 4 pm. It was late, there were not many people in the garden, and it was quite quiet.
The ticket price is 15 yuan, which is really worth it. It is quite big inside, with changing scenery as you move around, and it is exquisite and beautiful. However, the park closes at 5 o'clock, so you can only take a quick tour.
Very beautiful, 2 hours to walk around.
Qinghui Garden is similar to Yumeng Shanfang and Dongguan Keyuan that I have visited before. If you like ancient buildings, you can go and have a look. The Ximei beef offal on Huagai Road Pedestrian Street next to Qinghui Garden is delicious.
The entrance fee is 12 yuan, and there is no self-paid entry. The garden is very large and beautiful, with many rockeries and ponds. If there are not many people, you can definitely take very beautiful photos. I feel that the gardens in Guangdong are different from those in Suzhou and Beijing. I prefer mountains and rivers, but there are fewer bonsai.
It may have been built relatively late, probably during the Qianlong period, so the doors and windows are mostly decorated with colored glaze, but it is really beautiful.
The garden should have been renovated, at least it doesn't look old.
Different series of three-dimensional decorations will be engraved on the pots of potted plants. Some are vegetable and fruit series, some are flower series, and some are bird and animal series, which is particularly rich.
The south is rainy, so the drainage holes are shaped like copper coins. The small bridge and flowing water are really poetic and picturesque to the ancients.
One of the four famous gardens in central Guangdong
The asymmetrical feature, from the first Shunde champion in the Wanli period to the present day, has witnessed every bit of Shunde's development through ups and downs. The varied and exquisite architectural style is well worth savoring.
Of course, it is also tempting to choose a fat koi
Qinghui Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. There is such an ancient garden in the city center. The scenery inside makes you feel that there is a different world and you can fully appreciate the style of Lingnan gardens. Shunde Qinghui Garden The site of Qinghui Garden was originally the Huang family garden built by Huang Shijun, the top scholar in the late Ming Dynasty. The existing buildings were mainly built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The name "Qinghui" means the warm and shining sunlight, which is a metaphor for the kindness of parents. The garden was built many times by five generations of Long family members, including Long Yingshi, Long Tinghuai, Long Yuanren, Long Jingcan, and Long Zhuhui. It gradually formed a Lingnan garden with a complete pattern and rich characteristics. It is known as the four famous gardens in Guangdong together with Foshan Liangyuan, Panyu Yuyinshanfang, and Dongguan Keyuan. It is also one of the representative works of Lingnan gardens. The main attractions in the garden include: Boat Hall, Bixi Thatched Cottage, Chengyi Pavilion, Hexagonal Pavilion, Octagonal Pond, Bamboo Garden, Fenglai Peak, Duyun Pavilion, Muyingjian, Liufen Pavilion, Bishenghua Pavilion, etc. Qinghui Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. The other three are Keyuan in Dongguan, Liangyuan in Foshan and Yuyinshanfang in Panyu. It is a typical Lingnan garden style, with a small area and exquisite garden design. Address: No. 23, Qinghui Road, Daliang Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province; Opening hours: 9:00~17:00 (front garden opens at 8:30); Tickets: 15 yuan/person; Parking: Qinghui Garden Parking Lot (on the left side facing the gate of Qinghui Garden) or Pedestrian Street Central Parking Lot (turn right after 100 meters from Qinghui Garden Parking Lot to the pedestrian street); Parking fee: 5 yuan/hour for private cars in the first 3 hours, 3 yuan/hour after 3 hours.
If Shunde's most famous scenic spot is to be mentioned, it should be Qinghui Garden in Daliang, which is known as one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. The complete layout of a large garden enclosing a small garden and the architectural details with Lingnan characteristics make Qinghui Garden unique. After seeing the exquisite elegance of Jiangnan gardens, you will find it has a different flavor.
Tickets are 15 yuan, free for locals.
However, during the National Day holiday, even if I had the leisure to go and watch it, I would be discouraged by the huge crowds and the overwhelming atmosphere.
It's good but there are too many people, so I can't really enjoy the scenery during the National Day holiday.
The park is not big, but the unique Lingnan scenery is worth a visit. The fish in the pond are mostly large goldfish weighing more than ten pounds. The kids love feeding the fish and they were not satisfied when they left.
My fellow villager took me to see it. It is worth a visit, but parking is a bit difficult.
Although Qinghui Garden is small in scale, the details of the garden architecture are very well done. I was still full of curiosity when I came here for the second time.
Highly recommended for those who like gardens, the sentiments of the ancients were extremely high.
Located next to Huagai Road Pedestrian Street, it is somewhat similar to the style of Suzhou Gardens, with a quiet environment, many ancient trees, and well-arranged rockery. It's a pity that the lotus season is out, but it's still worth a visit.
The fish in Qinghui Garden seem to be very spiritual, and they are so big that they look like spirits. If you have the chance, you can bring some fish food, and you can see the fish fighting for food, which is quite spectacular.
There are many mango trees in Qinghui Garden. The small mangoes that fall naturally when the wind blows are scattered all over the ground. They are so cute.
The weather changes from dusk to dawn, and the mountains and rivers are filled with clear sunshine. I resigned from my post and returned to my hometown, living in a courtyard.
Every tree is spiritual, every mountain and every river is a magnificent scene. Behind the best scenery in the garden are tall buildings rising from the ground. If we ignore the aesthetic conception, it is not enough to protect only a tile or a gravel of cultural heritage. So Qinghui Garden tells us: as long as you study well, you can live in a big garden!
The only scenic spot in Shunde, the address is easy to find, just near Daliang Pedestrian Street. It is rare to have such a well-preserved garden in the downtown area. It is very characteristic of Guangzhou, with waterfalls, rockery, fish ponds, and covered bridges. My favorite is the colored glaze. It turns out that colored glaze has been the protagonist of decoration so long ago, very beautiful.
The front yard of Qinghui Garden is free, and the inner yard needs to buy a ticket of 15 yuan per person. The detailed information of Qinghui Garden can be found on the Internet. I will not go into details here. Let me talk about my personal experience. This is the garden design I like. Each component has its own story. Adding the APP can get voice commentary, which is very convenient. The building materials are quite exquisite, and the layout is grand and exquisite. The floor tiles, flower beds, window grilles, and fences reflect the Lingnan style everywhere. When we arrived, there was a crew shooting a promotional film for Shunde, which shows the status of Qinghui Garden in Shunde. Friends who travel to Shunde may wish to take half a day to have a good tour. There is a pedestrian street nearby, and there are authentic delicacies that will be introduced later. There is a parking space on weekdays, and you can take a taxi during festivals. The transportation is quite convenient.
Qinghui Garden is the first of the four famous gardens in Guangzhou. It covers the largest area and is outstanding for its colorful colored glaze. It is well worth a visit.
Qinghui Garden was already crowded with people at noon. As soon as I entered the garden, I felt the cool breeze. The garden was lush with trees and surrounded by clear water. There were streams everywhere. I couldn't help but sigh that the living environment of Shunde people was really envied by people in the north. The pavilions and towers in the garden were scattered, the rockery and cave stones were naturally interesting, and the glazed walls and tiles were even more colorful, showing a landscape that was very different from the northern gardens.
It was a wise move to enter the garden before closing at 5 o'clock when there were almost no tourists. However, we finally encountered a downpour in the garden. It was very pleasant to take a nap in the pavilion overlooking the lotus pond. The Lingnan garden is not very beautiful or exquisite, but it is full of joy and casualness.
As a tourist, although I cannot understand its construction and layout, the clear water, green trees, ancient walls, lattice windows, stone mountains, small bridges, curved corridors, pavilions and towers interact and blend... At this moment, I really feel the artistic conception of the origin of the name of the park: "The climate changes from dusk to dawn, and the mountains and rivers are full of clear sunshine." Although the climate in the evening is not as good as in the morning, the mountains and rivers are equally charming! Suddenly I envy the ancients for having time and creativity to do only one thing in their lives and do it to the extreme.
Ps: The carps in the pond are all super big
Qinghui Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong... It is just opposite the New World Hotel where we stayed... The ticket price is 15 yuan... Although Qinghui Garden is not large in area... But the layout of pavilions, terraces, and terraces... The combination of rockery and ponds... The background of flowers, plants, and trees are all very exquisite... It is worth savoring...
The ticket is 15 yuan, and the student ticket is 7 yuan at half price. The inspection is quite strict. Qinghui Garden is divided into the front garden and the back garden. The front garden is free to visit before 5 o'clock, but I finished it at a glance. It is recommended to buy a ticket to go in and play. There is a calligraphy exhibition and a self-service machine selling souvenirs in the front garden. We bought 20 yuan of commemorative coins, 20 yuan of Shunde food canvas bags, and sent Shunde food cartoon postcards to friends. Because the stamps are very beautiful, I bought a few more, including Monkey King, Princess and the Pea, and the Mermaid. Generally speaking, the price of souvenirs in Qinghui Garden is the cheapest among all the places I have visited.
It rained occasionally in Guangdong that week, and that's why I felt like I was traveling back in time when I visited Qinghui Garden.
A piece of paradise hidden in the downtown area ~ One of the top ten gardens in the country is indeed worthy of its reputation, with rich vegetation species and ingenious design. Even in the summer, when walking in the garden, there is a constant breeze blowing on your face, which is enough to drive away the restlessness of summer play.
Must-see attractions when visiting Shunde!
The windows of Qinghui Garden are also a unique landscape. The shape of each window in each room is different.
There are exhibition halls of various sizes interspersed in the garden, introducing stories related to Qinghui Garden.
Overall the ticket is worth it!
It does not have the royal grandeur of the Summer Palace or the bustling crowds of the Humble Administrator's Garden, but it is also exquisite, compact and unique in style.
Qinghui Garden is a landmark of Shunde. The garden-style architecture of the Ming Dynasty has left a deep impression on the history of Shunde. There are many clear waters, green plants, lattice windows, rocks, small bridges and winding corridors in the garden. It is a typical southern garden courtyard. It cleverly combines artificial and natural elements, highlighting the architectural style of southern Chinese gardens that express feelings through scenery. The layout of the garden is sparse and dense, and it is well-arranged. People can't help but feel that this is a good place to cultivate their character. There are many tourists. Follow the winding corridors and paths to walk around. It would be better if there is a tour guide to explain. You can only rely on the plaques in the scenic spot to know the history.
One of the four famous gardens in Guangdong, it was built in the Ming Dynasty and is 4A-rated. It is best visited from March to May.
There are many flowers and fruit trees in Qinghui Garden. At the entrance of the garden, an ancient tree comes into view first. On the left and right sides are longan trees, with longans hanging from their branches. There are other ancient trees such as psammophila, wisteria, and cypress, which are lush and green all year round, and complement the ancient pavilions and terraces.
Typical stained glass in Lingnan gardens can be seen everywhere, most of which were imported from Europe during the Qing Dynasty and are very exquisite.
The pavilions, towers, rockery and lotus pond in the center of the garden are connected by corridors. Although the garden is small, it is exquisite and full of scenery.
Qinghui Garden is not very big, the ticket is 15 yuan, it is one of the four famous gardens in Guangzhou, there are many longan trees. If you are tired and full, you can come here to walk around and digest your food. After visiting Qinghui Garden, it is still very hot, it is really not suitable for outdoor walking in summer.
If you want to enter the small gate, you need to buy a ticket. Tickets cannot be purchased online, only on-site tickets are accepted. There are mainly Shunde history and some Feng Shui inside. It is nice to take pictures, but be careful of mosquitoes. Qinghui Garden is next to the pedestrian street and can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.
It was drizzling that day...but there were still a lot of people in Qinghui Garden! Wouldn't it rain more? ? ?
It seems that there was a food festival or something like that. I saw some aunts doing embroidery, which was interesting. I have always loved gardens. There are so many gardens in Suzhou. I really want to go there again after visiting them once. The gardens in Lingnan are different from those in Jiangnan. Just like the colored glaze on these flower windows, there is a more Western atmosphere, which is probably related to the many ports in Lingnan. Bonsai is also quite interesting. There are pavilions and water, and the aura of the garden also comes from this. If it weren't for the rain and the crowds, Qinghui Garden must be a very comfortable place to stroll.
Qinghui Garden was originally the private residence of Huang Shijun, the Minister of Rites of the Ming Dynasty. It gradually declined in the Qing Dynasty and was taken over by the Long family. It is said that five top scholars were born here after the takeover, so it can be called a Feng Shui treasure land. It covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters, equivalent to 6-7 ancestral temples.
As one of the top ten famous gardens in China and the first of the four famous gardens in Lingnan, it is indeed very beautiful. The courtyard is very large, and pavilions and towers are surrounded by green plants and rockery. It's a pity that it was raining, so I had to leave in a hurry. I think it must be very beautiful here on sunny days.
However, Qinghui Garden in the heavy rain also has a unique charm, with enchanting mist and rain, just like the four seasons, which come and go in their own way.
