This is a small and fresh place in the city, very popular among young people.
There are more than 300 B&Bs of different styles near the beach, which are very unique.

Take a direct bus from Shenzhen North Station, 10 yuan per person, you can pay by scanning the WeChat QR code, it is very convenient, the journey takes about 1 and a half hours. After arriving, walk back and turn around for about 10 minutes to reach Jiaochangwei Beach, which is great. There are many people, and it is also very sunny, so you must do a good job of sun protection. There are many small shops on the beach, you can eat, drink, buy swimming rings, store clothes, and pay for showers. You can take a boat to the island opposite the beach. Remember to take the boat and remember the boat number. Not every boat can be taken, so it is convenient to contact when you go back. The scenery is very beautiful, and there are hotels and homestays everywhere on the beach. If you like the beach, you can stay for a day or two.
During the four-day holiday, I wanted to go somewhere farther away, but I was worried about the crowds.
I finally have a long vacation, but it feels like a waste to stay at home.
After thinking about it, I decided to ask some friends to go out together and go to a place that is closer. We chose Jiaochangwei based on the online travel guide.
The idea is to see the sea view and have a barbecue in the evening.
The result is that there are huge crowds of people going to the beach.
Although the beach is not that great, the B&Bs are worth a visit. Each B&B has its own style and the service attitude is also very good.
We saw a sailboat poster at the B&B, and the owner enthusiastically introduced the nearby attractions.
This tour is quite good and worth recommending. It includes pick-up and drop-off, and there are drinks and fruits on the boat.
I will also help take photos
The quality of the sea water is average, not as clear as expected.
I don’t recommend those seafood sets that cost 139 yuan or 169 yuan in the surrounding area. They are not tasty and don’t feel fresh. It’s better to order seafood individually on site.
Some lanes are not sanitary, and the food prices in the scenic area are high. This is not a unique scenic area, or a scenic area where food is not easy to obtain. After the price is high, the number of tourists will decrease. The price of homestay is also high. Accommodation cannot be compared with three-star hotels,,, not worth it
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Youth hostels are concentrated here, and it is a very unique place. The prices of youth hostels near the sea are more expensive, and those inside are cheaper. Each youth hostel has a different style, and it is also a good place for photography.
I have been to Jiaochangwei twice, and this is the third time, so I didn't take many photos, but it is a good place to take photos of pretentious artistic youth. Each homestay has its own unique style. Although I have been here several times, it has become more beautiful every time. I look forward to taking more beautiful photos and wearing skirts next time.
The beach at Jiaochangwei belongs to the inland sea surrounded by the coastline, and the quality of the beach is not particularly good. Since we went there during the off-season, the sea water was relatively clear. There were many speedboats available near the beach. If you take a boat to the outer island, it costs about 60 per person, and you can bargain. There is an ancient town of Dapeng Fort near the beach. The town is not big, so you can go for a walk early the next morning~
For the rest of my life, the snow and wind are you, the plainness is you, the poverty is you~
It's sandy but steep, so I don't think it's a good place for swimming or walking.
Another thing is that the water quality is average, not excellent.
As for the sea view, the view is average because part of it is blocked by the opposite mountain.
There is nothing special about it. You can't go to the sea. The sand is not good. The environment here is not suitable for going to the sea. You can just enjoy the sea breeze. 9. Wandering around Jiaochangwei New Village, the so-called Gulangyu of Shenzhen is a bit unworthy of its name. It is very close to Dapeng Fortress, and you can walk here for about 400 meters. The beach is also very small, which is very disappointing.
Near Dapeng City. The beach here is dirty and messy, with garbage everywhere. But the homestay still has some characteristics.
The B&Bs around here are really great. I've been there many times. I've been there with my boyfriend and for company gatherings. I always have a blast every time I go.
I don't know why, but the first feeling I had when I first came in and walked along Jiaochangwei was that it was a bit like Yangshuo in Guilin, literary, leisurely, and homestays. It may not be worth coming here specifically to see the sea, but it is especially worth coming here to see the characteristic homestays, take a lazy rest for a day, and there is an ancient town next to it, as well as a beach that can be reached by transportation not far away. The dining consumption is medium, and accommodation depends on the time. I came in November, and even so, a short-sleeved shirt would not be cold at the beach. So in the hot summer, if you are not going to the water and don't want to stay in an air-conditioned room, think twice. The homestay is very distinctive, but you don't have to choose the one by the sea, because the so-called seaside is just that you can see the sea in the room, but the price difference is obvious with the residential houses more than ten meters away. Of course, if you don't care about the price, there are also unique choices on the front line of the sea. My personal favorite is Yanyu. And the Zhuju where I stayed this time was also very praiseworthy. Whether it is design, room, or service, it is highly recommended.
Finally, I have to reiterate that we strongly recommend working days, otherwise the pace of slow life will be greatly reduced.
Other places are good, don't come here to eat seafood
I've been there, it's not developed much, it's ok 😄
Jiaochangwei is located on the Dapeng Peninsula in Shenzhen. It is the only village with a coastline on the Dapeng Peninsula. It is close to the Dapeng Fortress and is called the Shenzhen version of "Gulangyu Island." Jiaochangwei Beach is relatively narrow and long. The beach is divided into several levels. The sand near the sea is very coarse and prickly, while the sand above is very fine and soft. It covers an area of 5 hectares. The biggest feature is that there are more than 300 homestays of different styles near the beach.
Jiaochangwei is actually a place that is more suitable for relaxing. It faces the sea, backed by homestays, and is a place where you can feel relaxed and at ease.
The beach is nice and it would be even more beautiful if it was sunny.
Although it has been raining due to the typhoon, it is still very beautiful!
During the day, Jiaochangwei is like a quietly sleeping literary village. Walking in the alleys, you will find another world after turning a corner. Many homestays are really unique.
As night falls, the barbecue stalls and music bars become lively! People who went swimming in the sea during the day returned to the shore and sat on the beach to enjoy the sea breeze. It was so pleasant. Walking through the crowds and listening to the songs in the music bars, the strong holiday atmosphere made people feel relaxed.
Night is the most beautiful time of the day after a long sleep.
A very small and fresh beach, the sea water is relatively clean, not many people on non-weekends, and the surrounding B&Bs are beautifully decorated ~ suitable for casual strolling and taking pictures
If it is a sunny day, the sky is usually blue and there must be white clouds. Even if there are no white clouds in other places, the water vapor on the opposite Qiniang Mountain can evaporate and form white clouds. Very relaxing and beautiful place. Comfortable. Tips, don't drive there by yourself, there will be traffic jams.
The food is very expensive and the price-performance ratio is extremely low.
Original lean meat soup powder
There were only five slices of lean meat slices for 20 yuan, which was actually just MSG rice noodles.
The beach at the end of the beach is very ordinary, but there are many characteristic folk inns near the coastline, and there are many seafood restaurants to try. It was raining, so I didn't take any pictures.
This place is full of literary and artistic atmosphere. You can take a stroll and enjoy the romantic B&B town full of warm colors.
Jiaochangwei is the only town in Shenzhen with a coastline. The beach is long and narrow, the sand on the beach is not very fine and soft, and the sea is shallow, which is suitable for various marine sports. It is a great place for dating and marriage proposals. Tourism and food @ Unintentional Touching Grain Fish Noodles (Jiaochangwei Store) is a store that tells the story of fishing and noodles. This store is a newly opened branch. The soup base is relatively delicious, with fish and tofu, and most of them are dissolved in the soup, so it is very thick. The noodles are made of grains and cereals, which is very unique and different from the branches outside. It is re-mixed. Come and hope not to miss it.
This is a small fishing village by the sea far away from the city of Shenzhen, a place far away from the hustle and bustle, a romantic and colorful town, with pleasing courtyards full of green plants, full of sentimental homestays and small shops. It is also called Shenzhen Gulangyu. There are few people here, the water is clear and the sand is fine.
A very romantic place, very suitable for couples to play
Jiaochangwei Beach is relatively narrow and long. The beach is divided into several levels. The sand near the sea is very coarse and prickly, while the sand above is very fine and soft. It covers an area of 5 hectares and has 375 homestays.
It's a bit like Gulangyu Island in Xiamen. If you can't go to Xiamen, you can choose to go to Jiaochangwei for a walk.
大鹏所城年味很足。民宿有特色还不错,海滩还挺干净的。
Shenzhen Dapeng Jiaochangwei is the only village with a coastline in Shenzhen, China. Jiaochangwei Beach is relatively long and narrow, and the beach is divided into several levels. The sand near the sea is very coarse and prickly, and the sand a little above is very fine and soft. There are many people in summer, and there are many inns of all kinds. In your spare time, come here to stay overnight and feel the life facing the sea and the spring flowers. It is also very lively at night. The inns are full. Various guests sing songs, drink wine, and chat about life here, which is also another experience.
Generally speaking, most of the hotels are built in the style of residential houses, with colorful houses, bars and coffee shops with petty bourgeoisie decoration, etc. It is enough to spend an hour strolling around. It feels like a place for accommodation and leisure. It is not too popular. There are seafood restaurants near the seaside, and basically there are set meals. I haven't tried them, so I don't know how fresh they are. If you have more time, you can walk across the road to visit Dapeng Fortress.
The water with a long tail is really dirty!!! It is recommended not to go in the water! The water was not clean and clear ten years ago, which shows that the water quality of this place is not very good. With more and more tourists, the water is really dirty. There is garbage everywhere.
It's okay, but it feels like a combination of a hotel and a beach, and the supporting facilities are not very complete. I suggest that people who want to swim go to Dameisha. However, Pengsuo Ancient Town is next to it, so you can go shopping there together.
Jiaochangwei is known as the "Gulangyu of Shenzhen" and is the only village in Shenzhen with a coastline. Jiaochangwei Beach is long and narrow, and is divided into several levels. The sand near the sea is very coarse and prickly, while the sand above is very fine and soft. What I like are the inns of all sizes, which bloom like flowers on the coastline, full of literary and fresh atmosphere.
The only village in Shenzhen with a coastline, surrounded by many unique folk customs, it is worth a visit.
There is a sharp contrast between here 10 years ago and today 10 years later. In the past, the village was mostly local people, and most of them were ordinary traditional Guangdong houses. In recent years, in order to develop tourism and build Shenzhen's Gulangyu, basically all the courtyards have been converted into houses. Each house has taken the literary route. The style is different during the day and at night. Sitting by the sea at night, listening to music, drinking, and blowing the wind is very comfortable. There are a lot of people here on weekends, and things are a little expensive. The sand is a little coarse, and the beach is a little dirty when there are too many people.
Three words: dirty, messy, and poor
The cars near the beach are driving very fast~ honking their horns constantly~ it's scary
Many people who just finished swimming came out wearing only swimming trunks and had to hide from cars.
So funny~ People who say it's like Gulangyu probably haven't been to Gulangyu~ There's no comparison~ There's not much to eat, but there's a lot more to eat in Gulangyu~
E.11 The attitude of the bus is totally different from that of a tourist bus. It's really bad. They wanted to pay the child only after he sat properly. It didn't work. Okay, I paid him. The bus started driving before the child even sat down. I've been to so many places, but this is the first time.
I've been to so many places and this is the first time I've written a review~ Because I want everyone to know the real situation
The sea water is very dirty and there are porcelain pieces. I dare not let my child take off his shoes to play on the beach.
The food is all seafood, which is really average for a Cantonese. The price is not cheap.
The appearance of the buildings is hard to compare with Gulangyu Island. It is dirty. The road signs are unclear. The planning is messy. It's like walking in a maze.
It is a good place for friends or couples to stay, run, drink, grill, eat seafood... The most important thing is that the B&B is good! A good place for a weekend 👍
Jiaochangwei is not suitable for swimming, there are too many rocks and many people are taking wedding photos.
I went to Dapeng Fortress and came here to take a look. It was about to rain, so I didn't look around carefully. I heard that there are many literary and artistic shops.
Jiaochangwei is the only village with a coastline. Jiaochangwei Beach is long and narrow, and is divided into several levels. The sand near the sea is very coarse and prickly, while the sand above is very fine and soft. Although the water in Jinshui Bay is relatively shallow, it gathers a group of young people who love marine sports to set sail and play various marine sports.
Shenzhen Dapeng Seaside Inns are mainly concentrated on the coastline of Jiaochangwei and Jinshui Bay on the peninsula of Shenzhen Dapeng New District. There are more than 20 houses of various sizes with bright colors and different shapes. The environment is quiet and comfortable. Listening to the birds singing and insects chirping, it feels like returning to a happy rural childhood.
There are many B&Bs facing the sea, very unique, worth a visit
My friend lives near Jiaochangwei, so we went there about three times. It is quite far from the city and requires several bus transfers. There are many homestays in Jiaochangwei, and the only thing to play is the sea.
Jiaochangwei is really disappointing! There are just many styles of homestays, and the sea water is as turbid as Dameisha. It's a bit dirty everywhere, not as beautiful as Yangmeikeng.

How should I put it? Jiaochangwei feels a bit like Gulangyu Island in Xiamen. The inns and small shops there are very fresh and clean. However, when I went there, many places were still under construction, and the roads were quite muddy. I suggest that if you want to go there, you should go a few months later. When they are finished, it should be a tourist attraction in Shenzhen.
Jiaochangwei is mainly a place with unique inns and restaurants. Each inn has its own unique decoration style. Passing by each inn, you will want to stop for a while. Passing through the inn, you can see the endless sea. The azure sky connects with the sea. The scene of the sea and sky is vividly displayed here. Friends who are busy at work every day can choose to take a day or two off to Jiaochangwei to enjoy the leisurely and comfortable pace of life brought here.
The main photography activities at Jiaochangwei are rocks, moss, and waves.
We didn't arrive at the destination until after 2:30 p.m. that day. As the tide receded too quickly, there was a lack of sea water and waves hitting the rocks, and the moss was lifeless, which made the photography lose its luster. In fact, the morning is the best time for photography.
The tide receded quickly in the afternoon. Although people could stand in a higher place, many people were picking up shells, which had a certain impact on slow photography.
The best season to photograph moss is from March to early April every year; after this time, the moss has dried up, which may be due to high weather temperatures or high sea water temperatures that are not suitable for growth.
The B&B town is very beautiful with a good night view. Quiet
The narrow and long coastline about 1 km away from Dapeng Fortress, if there are more people, you can eat seafood. There are many seafood restaurants here, but it is difficult for me to order alone. There are many accommodation options in Jiaochangwei, and each building has its own characteristics. Basically, they like to make the exterior walls more romantic, petty bourgeoisie or cute. But because it is still off-season, and the Chinese New Year has just passed, many small shops are not open yet. If it is the peak season in summer, it will be very lively at night. There are also many water entertainments on the beach.
Scenic features: sea, beach, homestay, seafood, ancient city, temple
Distance: About 70 kilometers from downtown Shenzhen, 90 minutes one way without traffic jams
Accommodation: There are many petite B&Bs, and the cost is about 200-400 yuan/double room, which fluctuates greatly according to the off-season and peak season. You can book the entire B&B, which has a self-service kitchen, TV, karaoke, air conditioning, and water heater.
Catering: Restaurants are concentrated on the beach and main street, mainly seafood, bars and barbecues
Suitable for: couples, seniors, families, corporate groups
The beach opposite Dapeng Fortress is about 3 minutes away from Dapeng Fortress by walking straight on the path. I took a look around but didn't buy anything or eat. There were quite a few people there during the Spring Festival. The sea water is a bit dirty. I personally think it's better not to come.
I went to Jiaochangwei in 2016. Jiaochangwei has always been famous for its B&Bs, but when I got there, there was nothing too surprising. First, the scenery is indeed rather bland, the sea water is not clear and the scenery is gray [maybe it’s my problem~] Second, the most important thing is that the beach is very dirty = = But there are still all kinds of B&Bs, everything is available [maybe because I rarely come into contact with this kind of hotel] Most of them are decorated very warmly, and you can see that the owner has put a lot of thought in it~ There is a HELLO KITTY-themed one behind the B&B I booked, I like it very much! B&Bs by the sea are more expensive, and I personally think there is no point because of the scenery. Some alleys are worth exploring, and you may find some surprises. Some B&Bs are very fresh~ There are barbecues at night, and there are also many people. It is suitable for sitting in a bar and listening to music, a perfect little vacation. PS: Because there was a problem with the camera when I went there, it was a bit gray, please forgive the quality of the photos~
This is a popular beach in Shenzhen in recent years, known as the Gulangyu of Shenzhen. There are some petty-bourgeois B&Bs, small jewelry stores, and cafes near the beach. I came here during the National Day holiday, and there were huge crowds of people. The entire coastline was full of people. It was almost impossible to move around properly. It is recommended to come here on a free day. It is also good for girlfriends and couples. There are bicycles for rent. There are also some marine activities, such as banana boats. But there were too many people during the long holiday, and I didn't want to go into the water at all.
Xiaochangwei Beach is relatively long and narrow, and is divided into several levels. The sand near the sea is very coarse and prickly, while the sand a little higher is very fine and soft.
Each homestay has its own characteristics, and it is inevitable to feel a little aesthetic fatigue after seeing them for a long time.
If you like small and fresh buildings, it is worth a visit. There are different feelings during the day and at night.
It feels like a place that is fresh for the sake of freshness. It is okay if you just go there to take pictures, but overall, I don’t think it is that recommended.
This is the beach at Jiaochangwei. I never thought it would be so clean before I came here. The beach is really super clean, with basically no garbage. The sand is also very fine and soft to walk on. The B&B we stayed in is only about 5 minutes walk from the beach, so it is really convenient to watch the sunrise in the morning. The food is a bit hard to get used to, and it is a bit expensive. But the food in the scenic area is like this~
A very beautiful seaside town, known as the Gulangyu of Shenzhen. Although the beach is not as long as that of Xichong, and the sand is not as soft as there, there are many literary-style homestays by the sea. When you are bored, you can just relax and walk around and take pictures, which will be a painting. At night, you can find a bar by the sea, listen to songs while enjoying the sea breeze, drink wine and chat about life. It is so comfortable!
Maybe because it was not the peak season, there were not many people on the beach and the sea water was very clean. It was a very comfortable weekend at the beach.
Shenzhen Gulangyu Island is worth visiting.
I will never go to this place again. It is really boring and commercialized. The beach is dirty and the accommodation is expensive. The seafood is even more inedible. It is expensive, not fresh, and smelly. Don't go to this restaurant in the picture below. It is a rip-off! Two bills were charged together. Our family of three ate two dishes, a soup, and fried rice and spent about 700 yuan. We only ordered ordinary dishes and didn't dare to order fish.
A very relaxing beach, highly recommended, but don't go there on holidays...
It is called Little Gulangyu Island, it is worth a visit, a literary and fresh trip
Two days and one night self-driving tour
Route: Jiaochangwei-Dapeng Fortress-Dongshan Temple
Jiaochangwei: Compared with Dameisha and Xiaomeisha, there are not many people and the sea water is clean. I had two meals, one for 230 and the other for 280, which is acceptable. There is a speedboat project for four people for 150, which is good and a little exciting. You can also see the sea palace. There is a homestay town full of homestays and the rest are restaurants. In fact, if you have a car, it is recommended to stay in Dapeng Town for food and accommodation, which is much more cost-effective
Dapeng Fortress: The main street is full of restaurants and specialty shops. The small streets are still under development. It's a big place, so it's nice to walk around and see it slowly.
Dongshan Temple: There are many Buddhist books on the left side of the temple. I read a book about the history of the temple and some Buddhist scriptures for free.
In summary, these three places are all close to each other at the end of Jiaochang. There are not too many people and the roads are well maintained. It is more suitable to stay for two or three days.
This place is mainly near the sea, but unfortunately the water quality is average. B&B is the main feature. The service is ok, but the consumption is a bit expensive and it can be a bit noisy at night!
Even landlubbers can walk into the sea without worry. There is a small beach about 100 meters away from the beach, hahaha. I came here yesterday because there were few people because of the recent weather forecast of typhoon. It's not bad. The sand is very fine, but not very clean, after all, it is undeveloped. There are many seafood nearby. I originally came to visit Dapeng Fortress, but I didn't expect Jiaochangwei to be just across the road. There are many inns here, and you can find them on Meituan. I read a lot of guides before coming here. The owners of the inns are really friendly and easy-going. In a word, it's a very loving place. You can go to the beach to blow the wind, listen to the sound of the waves, and relax at night. It's a very warm feeling to visit the homestay village. It's more expensive to eat nearby. Friends who travel on a budget can also take the M471 bus to Dapeng Center for dinner.
Undeveloped beach, few people, many B&Bs, fresh and clean route
There are more than 300 homestays in Jiaochangwei, each with its own style. I think the beach is a bit dirty at present, and I dare not go swimming. There are still a lot of garbage. Compared with the nearby Jugan Bay, Jugan Bay has clean sand and fine softness. The homestay chose "Bread Tree". These homestays are very large and have three buildings. We booked Garden V1, which has a mahjong table with two floors. Although the sparrow is small, it has everything. There are shower gel, shampoo and laundry detergent for washing clothes. It is also very considerate to have mosquito coils and anti-mosquito water. The brother in the store is also very enthusiastic to take us to the beach and recommend us to eat seafood. By the way, when it comes to eating seafood, the seafood restaurants in Jiaochangwei are quite pitfalls. We ate more than 600 yuan for five people in Pengcheng Renjia~ The taste is still good. The sky in Jiaochangwei is still very beautiful. It is still very pleasant to barbecue, chat and play mahjong leisurely here!
I went to Jiaochangwei on May Day, and there were a lot of people. Fortunately, I booked a room in advance, but the price was more expensive during holidays. The inn owner said that if it is not a holiday, Friday is the most cost-effective, and you can have fun the next day, and the price is the usual price! For meals, I went to Pengcheng Village opposite to eat. Eating in Jiaochangwei is too expensive. Soup noodles cost 15 yuan, while the village opposite is only 8 yuan a bowl! I got up the next morning to watch the sunrise. It was still a bit cold on May Day, so I didn’t get up very early, and the weather was not as rainy as the weather forecast! I have been to Gulangyu before and felt very good. After coming to Jiaochangwei, I feel that there are still many areas that need improvement. However, it is still very good to find a place nearby for three or five friends or colleagues and classmates to gather!
The first time I went there it felt a bit like Xiamen, with lots of homestays and it was very lively at night, but the sea here is very shallow.
Apart from the inconvenient transportation, this place is still very suitable for playing.
There are few people and the sea is relatively clean. It is just opposite the Dapeng Ancient City.
Many people camp here and play various recreational facilities. The coastline is quite long. This is a famous photography base, and many people take wedding photos.
I thought the water here would be very clear, but I was wrong. There were a lot of people and the commercial development was very mature. I didn't have much fun. I went to the less crowded places nearby. It was more fun to go to those wild beaches where no one visited.

[Route] Shenzhen North Station Holiday Special Line 6 or Line 12 (ps: it is not the bus terminal on the negative 1 floor, you need to exit the station and go to the roadside platform to take the bus) Get off at Dapeng Erxiao Station and walk about 800 meters to arrive
There is a small island opposite Jiaochangwei. It costs 300 yuan to take a boat from Jiaochangwei for 6 people. There is nothing else except the very clear water, so it is not cost-effective.
The tide started to ebb around 5pm, and the sea water was very shallow. You could pick up a lot of shells🐚, small fish and shrimps. Men, women, young and old all went to the sea to play. The fine sand was very comfortable to step on. At night, you can have an inexpensive seafood meal at a nearby B&B and stay overnight. It's a wonderful idea to watch the sunrise the next morning.
