Xichong Beach has been closed since the last typhoon. This is the legendary Shenzhen speed 😂 In addition, the hotels and B&Bs in Dongchong are shabby. Can you have some taste and at least plant some flowers, plants, cats and dogs...

Tung Chung is located on the eastern coast of Shenzhen. It is a beautiful bay surrounded by green mountains on three sides. It is adjacent to Qiniangshan Forest Park in the north and Shenzhen's unique brackish water mangrove reserve in the east. It is across from Sanmen Island. The nearly two-kilometer-long golden beach is like a crescent moon embedded between the green mountains and blue waves. The water here is clear, the sand is fine, and the sea and sky are one color.

If you walk through Dongxiyong, you can see the unbeatable sea view, which is worth a visit.

We were originally heading to Lantau Island and passed through Tung Chung.

The cable car was closed due to thunderstorms. We went shopping at the outlet mall in Tung Chung. This dress was the result of a lot of shopping. It was cold at the time, so I bought it and wore it right away.

The water quality is cleaner than the sea west of the Pearl River Estuary all the way to the beginning of the Chinese coastline.

Tung Chung Beach is still open, and the beach population has also been damaged to a certain extent. Compared with last year, there are more speedboats, more homestays, and more food. How were Tung Chung and Tsai Chung named?

The locals call a river a "chong", and a river is a "chong". So Dongchong and Xichong got their names. This is a photography base, and many people come here to take pictures. However, the beach is not that big, but small has its own beauty. Let me talk about the houses here, which give people a great feeling. Now it seems that most of the beaches in Shenzhen are not optimistic. Affected by "Mangkhut", some beaches and buildings are damaged. We have to wait for official notification when the repairs will be completed.

The hiking route I took was from Dongchong to Xichong. It took me an afternoon to walk along the coastline. It was quite interesting.

I haven't been to Dongchong Beach, but the scenery at the starting point of the Dongchong coastline is very beautiful.

Personally, I think the wild beach in Tung Chung is more beautiful than that in Xichong. Its beauty lies in its exquisiteness, wildness and seclusion.

Shenzhen is one of the best beaches. The seawater is very clean and the sand on the beach is very small. There is an entrance fee and parking fee to enter the beach, and there is also a fee for bathing. The facilities are very complete. It is suitable for flying kites, swimming, playing in the sand, picking up shells, renting parasols, and bringing your own tents.

There are even fewer people in Dongchong, and it is so comfortable to lie on an empty lounge chair. A blue gauze house by the sea reminded me of the Dolphin Bay Lovers I watched when I was a child. The beach here is steeper, and I picked up a lot of small shells here.

Tung Chung Village is a popular crossing point for hiking in Dongchong and Xichong. The village is quite peaceful. If it is the peak tourist season, the village is lively. If it is the off-season, it is a bit scary at night. It is a bit scary because of the darkness... However, the scenery of Dongchong Beach is really great. Although it is smaller than Xichong, it has fewer people and is quieter, so it is quite good for camping.

Dongchong Village is located at the southernmost tip of Dapeng Peninsula and is an administrative village at the easternmost tip of Shenzhen. There are less than 500 local people in the village. Dongchong Village is the only village in Shenzhen that is not connected to a provincial highway. Villagers mainly make a living by breeding and fishing. Now tourism has gradually become the main industry here. Dongchong is less than 10 kilometers away from Xichong. Of course, it is also a mountain road. There is a section that is a township road, and the road condition is relatively poor. There is a hiking trail from Xichong to Dongchong that is very popular with hiking enthusiasts.

Dongchong Beach is much smaller than Xichong Beach, only about 500 meters long. Small has its advantages. The beach here is relatively clean, not crowded, relatively quiet, and a good place to watch the sunrise. The beach is surrounded by mountains on three sides, opposite to Huizhou's Sanmen Island, where you can take a boat. Dongchong Beach is now fenced off, and you need to buy a ticket to go down to the beach, 13 yuan per time.

On the Dapeng Peninsula, although it is far from the urban area of Shenzhen, it is worth visiting a beach that is not overdeveloped, the sky is particularly blue, and the sand is soft and comfortable.

Tung Chung belongs to Nan'ao Town. It only takes about 15 minutes to reach the beach from Nan'ao. My friend said that he would not go anywhere else in the future and would only go here for vacation. Hehehe!

In fact, the natural beauty in front of us is no less than any resort in the world, and can be compared with such relaxing and comfortable seaside resorts as Yalong Bay, Bali, Cancun, Hawaii, etc.

You don’t have to worry about others snatching shells from you when picking them, because there are too many, so remember to bring plastic bags to hold the shells. Friends with a more adventurous spirit can walk along the coast and have a passionate journey. Jumping on the rocks, avoiding the thorny wild pineapples all over the mountains, the winding paths, and challenging yourself are definitely a wonderful journey. I also want to remind you that Dongchong is a good place to see the first ray of sunshine in Shenzhen.

On May Day, we set out from Dongchong and crossed to Xichong. The weather was very good and the sea was very blue. It was fun to walk on rocks and catch crabs along the way.

I feel that the water in Dongchong is cleaner than that in Xichong. It is clearer and has waves.

Tung Chung is indeed a good place for leisure. Usually there are not many people there, and there is a lot of material for photography, including the sea, beach, fishing boats, egrets, wetlands, woods, villages, hotels, and wedding photography bases. It has everything, and the consumption is not high. The seafood is fresh and the inn is affordable. It is worth visiting again.

It is in a semi-open state, which is very suitable for leisure travel. It is recommended to avoid the peak period of long holidays and go there on a weekend with good weather. Even if you just stare at the sea, you will feel very beautiful.

The beach is very small, the water is cleaner than Xichong, camping is not allowed on the beach, it is recommended to stay in a B&B. The beach management office charges 10 yuan for a shower, but there is no hot water.

The water quality is average, the waves are relatively small, suitable for beginners to learn surfing

If you really don't know the road, you can share a car with others at the bus station on the Nan'ao side. It costs about 10 yuan. You can tell the driver whether you want to go to the beach or the crossing. The drivers are very familiar with it.

3. Personal experience: Dongchong is one of the most beautiful beaches in Shenzhen. The sea here is clean, there are few people (many people go to Xichong), the air is good, and many people choose to cross here. It takes about 2 hours to cross to Xichong. However, you must prepare water and other things before coming here, because the things here are very expensive. The beach is pretty good, and the ticket price is 13 yuan. By the way, there is also a Dongchong Tianhou Temple next to it, which was built in 2011. You can also go and have a look.

It's very relaxing, the whole pace is relatively slow, it's recommended to bring some barbecue, beer, etc., you can make it yourself, it's very comfortable. The beach is very cool at night, you can camp there with a tent, blow the sea breeze, chat with a few friends, watch the sunrise, it's a very comfortable life.

Tung Chung has better sand than Tsui Chung and fewer people, but you can't set up tents at night.

Tung Chung is also known as Dongchong, which is also in Nan'ao. Just like going to Xichong, you must first take bus E11 (8 stops) in the city to Nan'ao Terminal, and then take a minibus to Dongchong.

After talking about Tung Chung, we have to talk about Xichong. As long as you have enough physical strength, you can cross from east to west. There are cliffs and steep cliffs along the way, and the scenery is infinitely beautiful. Every November to March of the following year is more suitable for crossing. At that time, the weather is not so hot and you can wear long sleeves. The scenery along the way is really a pleasure.

This is a very good route for hikers who like to abuse themselves. You can jump on the big rocks of various shapes along the coastline of Shenzhen, listen to the sea, and have fun. It is quite difficult, but it is really good. It also reminds me of the hike in Tiger Leaping Gorge with my friends. I wish my friends will always be happy and healthy. The waters of Dongchong are more delicate than those of Xichong. I personally think that it is small but delicate. Moreover, I found surfing in Dongchong but not in Xichong. Why is that? It is caused by the topography. As we know, beaches that can be surfed have very high requirements for waves, and the formation of waves is limited by the shape of the bay. Generally, the waves suitable for surfing are high and stretch in places with deeper water. The water quality in such places must be good. . .

Dongxi Chong is a good place to see the sea. It is much better than Dameisha and Xiaomeisha, because there are too many people in Dameisha and Xiaomeisha, and the water is not as clean as here.

In the stereotype of everyone, the sea water is usually blue, dark blue, azure, etc. However, it is strange to say that when you look at it from a distance by car, it is blue, and when you look at it from a close distance, it becomes green. Looking from here, it is Daya Bay, the South China Sea, and the Pacific Ocean. The sea water is lush green. At the end of the sight, it is feathered by the fog and can be integrated with the blue sky.

Compared with Dameisha and Xiaomeisha, it is still worth a visit. If you have enough energy and time, I strongly recommend hiking along the Dongxi Chong coastline, the scenery is very beautiful.

The coastline from Dongchong to Xichong is perfect. I personally think it ranks first among the attractions in Shenzhen. If you come to Shenzhen, I highly recommend it. (Be prepared for 2 days and 7 hours of walking. It's super cool.)
