I went to Yangmeikeng once last year, but I heard that the typhoon had not yet been repaired and I could only take a sightseeing bus to get in. I didn't plan to go after thinking about it.

I stayed at Jiaochangwei during the May Day holiday. I wanted to see the sea view and have a barbecue with friends in the evening, but I didn't expect that I would just come to see the crowds.

We wanted to go to the beach but it was very dirty. Later, the owner of the B&B recommended that we go to the beach in Yangmeikeng, saying that there was a yacht club there and we could go there and have a pick-up.

Fortunately we went there by car. There was a huge traffic jam in and out of Jiaochangwei. Because we got on the car at P1, the driver took us to a shortcut.

The only downside is the weather is not very good

It is more convenient to drive, and there are many scenery on the road. It is best to go out before 9 o'clock on holidays, otherwise there will be a lot of people (we drove from Dapeng Ancient City to Yangmeikeng at 7 o'clock. There were not many people when we went there. The scenery was very good and the air was very clear. When we returned after 10 o'clock, there were a lot of people and the car was not easy to drive). Today I was lucky to have the sun, the sea water was bling bling, but I was also very hot. I went there at 9 o'clock, but it was so hot that I left at 11 o'clock. I was wearing a suspender skirt. You can choose to walk, take a sightseeing bus, or take a yacht to Luzui Villa. It takes about 1 hour to walk. You can go into the water halfway, but it is not recommended because you still need to climb the mountain when you get to Luzui Villa. The scenery is beautiful, with cliffs, mermaid caves, clear water, and few beaches. Luzui Villa, there is only a small piece of fine sand beach halfway. I wanted to watch the sunrise and sunset, but I got up at 5 o'clock in the morning, but there was no sun. It was too hot at noon, so I left early. I went to live in Taihai Inn a day in advance. It is located by the sea and can go directly to the beach. Due to its remote location, it is very quiet at night, and only the sound of the waves will accompany you to sleep. If you choose to take the bus, you must go in advance, especially on weekends. E11 may make you wait for an hour or two, but the last M274 that you must pass is out of service at 7:30. The picture has no filter, and the picture is basically the same as the actual picture.

It was my first time to see the sea. The scenery was great! I was so excited that I almost jumped up! There is a beach where you can enjoy the sea breeze. You can also see small crabs if you turn over the rocks. There are also local residents who use small shovels to dig clams. I picked up some ugly conchs! It is really beautiful when the weather is good. The road is damaged and you can't ride a bicycle. You can take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan per person one way. It is not recommended to walk because it is really tiring! I didn't even walk to the mermaid shooting base one way, so I gave up taking the bus back. It's also nice to come back and play with the sand!

I went to Yangmeikeng on February 6th. I set out early in the morning and there was no traffic jam at all. I arrived around 10 o'clock. The color of the sea water was very beautiful after the sun came out. The cliffs of Luzui Villa were also very distinctive. It is worth a visit.

Tips:

1. In the city, you can take the E26 line to Dapeng Central Station and transfer to the M274 line to Yangmeikeng Terminal Station. Use the "Shenzhen Bus Where" APP to check the train schedule

2. Due to the severe damage caused by the typhoon, some sections of the road have not been repaired yet, so you can only walk to Luzui Villa. The whole journey takes a long time. There are few toilets and retail stores. There are no restaurants and snacks until you reach Luzui Villa. It is recommended to bring your own water and dry food

3. Yangmeikeng is a scenic spot with only two or three places where you can go swimming. Go straight along the road from the bus terminal to the entrance of the cycling highway.

Departed on February 5, 2019. I have been here several times before. At present, many bridges have collapsed on the road to Luzui Shangzhuang in Yangmeikeng during the last Typhoon Hato. Basically, you can't go straight after crossing the bridge, so the most enjoyable section of the road for cycling is now unavailable. It is expected to take about half a year to repair. From the Yangmeikeng parking lot to the mermaid shooting place, 1: Walk 5.2 kilometers for about 1 and a half hours. If you are physically fit, you can try it. 2: Take a car for 30 yuan a single trip for 8 minutes, usually 20 yuan, and the waiting time will be as long as 1 hour. 3: Take a boat for 5 minutes, and the waiting time is short. 60 yuan round trip. The most beautiful road in Yangmeikeng is from the parking lot to Lushui Villa. It is recommended to take a car to see the perfect mermaid shooting place first, and then go all the way back and play. There are also private cars. Now it is 10 yuan per person. It is about 20 meters in front of the road block, but it can only go to Taohuayuan. You have to walk 500 meters to Lushui Villa.

Yangmeikeng is a piece of reddish-brown stone. The sea water here is very clear and beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the beach is not big, and it is known as the filming location of The Mermaid. I feel that the best experience here is that you can catch crabs. There are many crabs under the rocks. I met a local brother who was very enthusiastic to chat with us and help us catch crabs. He caught a very, very big crab, the same big crab that we usually eat on the table. In short, it is a good tourist attraction.

The typhoon was so destructive that the road from Yangmeikeng to Luzui Villa, which was originally a bikeable section, is now not accessible by bicycle. You can only walk or take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan. I didn't know when I first arrived at Yangmeikeng, and I stupidly rented a bicycle, but I found that it was useless, so I just paid to store my luggage. The weather was clear, and the scenery was still good. The embankment was also damaged by the typhoon, so I didn't go down to the beach to play. Friends who go there should pay attention to safety.

I knew about this place in 2015 when I got a ticket for the Sailing Cup. I was picked up from the entrance of Luohu Stadium and went to this place.

My impression of this place at that time was that the sky was very blue, the water was very clear, and there were no extra facilities. I heard from friends who went there later that a lot of things had been added inside; and it is still closed due to the impact of the typhoon.

There is a small beach inside, the ticket is 20 yuan, and few people took wedding photos here at that time.

Because I was always queuing and stuck in traffic, I listened to the idea of taking a yacht from a street vendor. It turned out that it was worth it for 50 yuan per person. The yachts are actually privately contracted. You can only take the same boat you went on, so you must recognize the boat number.

The yacht to Yangmeikeng was really riding the wind and waves. It may also be due to the high tide. The waves were particularly large, and there was even a moment when the seats on the yacht were vacant. It is recommended that those with children or the elderly choose carefully.

When you get to Yangmeikeng, you can walk up the mountain. There is a shuttle bus (if you arrive late, it is recommended to take the shuttle bus to save time) to take you to the top of the mountain. Xiaoyi and his friends did not see the shuttle bus. Although the road was not long, we were in a hurry to go back, so we hurried up all the way.

After climbing up the mountain, I felt that it was worth it! The guardrails along the coast were installed, and there were not many people on Saturday evening. It was really a niche attraction! If you have plenty of time, you can walk around slowly and I believe you can see the beautiful scenery. Xiaoyi was in a hurry, so she took two photos and went back. You can consider going to this treasure attraction~

The second time I went there, I was with my teammates. At that time, we asked the bus driver to take us to the speedboat dock in Yangmeikeng. We set off from the sea. Each of the eight people was responsible for 50 yuan, including round trip. We docked at 3 pm and started to go up to Luzui Villa. We climbed over several small hills and found the beautiful mermaid cave. However, the road sign of the filming location of the movie "The Mermaid" was moved, and many fences were added to the scenic spot, and the development was becoming more and more perfect. Yangmeikeng does not charge admission. You can visit it for two hours by walking and taking pictures. There are many brides and grooms taking wedding photos here. Compared with the first time I came here, there are many more people here. It is not convenient to take pictures. There are heads everywhere. At 5:30 pm, we boarded the boat and returned to the dock through the sea. The bus took us to other places and joined the teammates who climbed Paiya Mountain.

The third time I went there was with my girlfriend, driving a private car. But Yangmeikeng is not easy to get to. The car arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning, and it was difficult to find a parking space. The road into the village is very narrow, with only two lanes. At this time, the road was already lined up with cars. During the period, I almost hit a new car behind me (PS: Fortunately, there was no scratch and no trouble). The hotel parking lot next to the boarding point is not cheap, and the fee is quite uneconomical. Compared with the September visit, the self-driving tour has a lot more troubles. Unable to enter Yangmeikeng, we went to Dapeng Fortress.

There are several beaches in Dapeng area. I saw on the Internet that the beach in Yangmeikeng is better, so I stayed here. It is very convenient to go to Luzui Villa, and the nearby Judiaosha Beach is also very good. It’s a pity that most of the scenic spots in Dapeng were closed during the epidemic. Fortunately, living in Yangmeikeng is a tourist attraction in itself. It’s really free and easy to set off fireworks on the beach at night. The children had a lot of fun.

On the second day of the Dragon Boat Festival (June 8), I drove to Yangmeikeng. I left in Guangming, and the traffic was smooth on the way there, and I was only stuck in traffic for 20 minutes at the entrance of the scenic area. On the way back (at 9pm), the traffic was very congested, and I didn't get home until 12:30.

We didn't stay in Yangmeikeng for too long. As soon as we got there, we took a speedboat to the filming location of "The Mermaid". The speedboat was very cheap, 50 yuan per person for a round trip. There were 7 people in a group, and it should be possible to bargain down to 40 yuan. You can try.

I won’t say much else, it’s a place worth visiting anyway.

I came here during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. The water is very clear. To go to Luzui Villa, you have to take a sightseeing bus. The roads inside were badly damaged by Mangkhut. The sightseeing bus costs 30 per person. It is recommended to stay for one night, take a walk in the sea breeze at night, and watch the sunrise the next day. The fried rice noodles at Qiangxin BBQ are super delicious!

If you don't return without a sightseeing bus, you can't get a refund because they don't accept cash. I don't know where to get a refund. This is the first time I heard that because there is no cash, there is no service and no refund. I heard from tourists that it's 10 yuan per person one way to Luzui Villa. It feels like they are raising the price on the spot. The charges are not very formal.

20190206, The scenery is nice, but the beach is not as good as that in South Australia, parking spaces are scarce, traffic is congested, cherries are not tasty, and the hand-grabbed pancake is 14 yuan each, which is very expensive

The sea water is indeed bluer than that of Changwei, but it is really not amazing. If 10 points is the full score, this degree is about 6 points. It is only 2-3 kilometers in total from getting off the car in Langti to the road repair site in Yangmeikeng, which is not long. The entire coastline is good for taking pictures, but I really don’t know what to play. The destructive power of the typhoon is still very strong. In addition to the road being still upright and intact, the overturned plants on the roadside, the broken fences, etc., all make the experience poor. The beach is mostly small stone beaches, with very little fine sand. It was Sunday when I went there, and the number of people was acceptable. If it was Saturday, you can imagine it. Overall, I was disappointed. Next time, I will choose Dongxichong Nan'ao to take a look, but I will skip this place.

The total distance is about 6km, and it takes about half an hour to ride a bike 🚲. A management fee of 10 yuan is required for parking bicycles inside the villa, but not outside.

The scenery along the way is nice, the sea is magnificent, and it feels wider than Dameisha and Dongchong (but maybe because of the cloudy day, the color of the sea water is not as beautiful as Dongchong)
