I went to Dong'ao Island on May Day this year, and overall I felt great. Because it was the first day of the holiday, there were not many people, and most of the tourists took the tour bus, so we were almost the only ones on the road ☺

First of all, let's talk about the transportation method. We took a boat from Hengqin Passenger Terminal to Dong'ao Island, which was quite convenient and the boat was relatively stable. After getting off the boat, we walked around the island and enjoyed the scenery on the island. It may be because the weather was relatively good, with a little sunshine and a little breeze, so it felt very comfortable, and the scenery on the road was also pretty good.

We passed a beach on the way. It was relatively clean but a bit small. Overall, it was average and not too amazing.

I recommend visiting the Moon-Raising Pavilion (that should be its name 😂) on the island. It is really hard to climb up there, and the stairs are a bit steep, but the view from above is really wide and the scenery is beautiful.

The seafood on the island is worth recommending. It is really great. I highly recommend the mantis shrimp. It is so delicious that it makes me cry. However, when buying seafood, remember to compare prices from different stores. I feel that there is still a certain difference in price.

Since it is a round trip on the same day, there is no recommendation for accommodation.

Dong'ao is a romantic island deliberately created. Wanmi Bookstore has a wedding dress studio. Kaisa Resort Hotel hides Crescent Bay. There is a love at first sight bell on the Honeymoon Pavilion, and I heard there is also a small church. You can come here even if you are not a couple, but it will be more suitable for couples~ It is not perfect yet. You have to rely on sightseeing buses to travel. If you eat, remember to avoid the fishing moratorium (May 1st - August 15th). There are still many areas under construction. Next time I go, there will be new things~

Listen to my advice. If you go to Dong'ao Island later, don't take the coastal road. It's simply devastating. It's raining, windy, and the road is long and unobstructed. Nanshawan Wharf, another wharf on Dong'ao Island, if you come here to take pictures on a sunny day, the dazzling yellow railings will definitely look very impressive.

It takes an hour by boat from Zhuhai Xiangzhou Port. A two-day tour is a very good choice. It is very leisurely and suitable for vacation, hiking, climbing and swimming.

I suggest that everyone should not go to the store next to the service hall to buy things. In short, the experience was very bad and it was not very fun!

There are few people going there now. The beach is nice and the sea is great. It is suitable for couples or to spend a quiet day alone.

I heard from residents that many hotels and B&Bs were also under maintenance, so there were not many hotel rooms. So I couldn't book one when I went there, and it was a one-day trip. Maybe because I was tired of carrying the child, I only had some bread for lunch and didn't try the seafood on the island.

Dong'ao Island is a place worth visiting.

Although it is a bit tiring to go up, you can see far from a high place. There is blue sea and blue sky, and there are several small islands in the distance. Accommodation on the island is not expensive, but the seafood on the island can be bought and processed, ten yuan per catty, but the price of seafood is not cheap, you can eat it or not~ There is a ring road on the island.
