At around 3 pm on January 1, 2019, we went to visit Jingjiang Wangcheng.

Jingjiang King City is 556 meters long from north to south and 355 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of 197,800 square meters. It was built in 1372 AD. Its city walls are all made of giant square stones. The wall is 5.5 meters thick and nearly 8 meters high.

We thought we could visit it freely, but we didn't expect that Wangcheng had a free tour guide service. We put individual tourists into a small group and were led by a tour guide. The whole tour took about 2 hours. We were led by tour guide No. 91, Xiao Wang. His explanation was humorous and funny. He was also able to take care of the elderly who walked slowly. In general, it was pretty good, especially the sunrise, which was beautiful (but I was freezing to death while waiting for the sunrise, it was cold windy) But the scenery is really recommended (the main point is that I haven't spent the ticket money yet =￣ω￣=)

After the tour guide in the scenic area gave us a full introduction, we were asked to climb Duxiu Peak by ourselves. It is very steep and we need to be careful. It is said that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Guilin from the top of the peak. You can indeed see the river, but the building is sandwiched between the mountains and waters, which spoils the scenery!

It is difficult for ordinary elderly people to climb up. The steps are steep and narrow. You must hold the iron rope. When you come down, your legs are shaking. The 66-meter-high Duxiu Peak can only have such steep and narrow steps. The scenery above is quite good. As the saying goes, the higher you stand, the farther you can see. You can even see the Li River. It is a Feng Shui treasure land.

The buildings in Guilin are all small high-rise buildings, and no building is higher than Duxiu Peak.
