The highest altitude of Ping'an Zhuang Terraces is about 880 meters above sea level, and the lowest altitude is about 380 meters above sea level. There are two viewing points here, namely Nine Dragons and Five Tigers and Seven Stars and the Moon.
"Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Viewing Point". "Nine Dragons" refers to the nine mountain ridges that can be seen along the direction of the terraces, like nine long dragons leaning down from the sky to drink water from the Jinjiang River. Next to them, there are five small hills squatting on the ground like five tigers, guarding this piece of land and water.
The terraces are like chains or belts, winding from the foot of the mountain to the top. The small hills are like snails and the big hills are like towers. In this vast world of terraces, there are 15,862 terraces of different sizes. The largest terrace is only about 0.62 acres, and the smallest terrace can only plant 3 seedlings. There are sayings that "a frog jumps three fields" and "a straw raincoat covers the field". "Seven Stars and Moon Viewing Point", "Seven Stars" refers to the seven small hills left when the fields were first opened, like seven twinkling stars, accompanying the silver-shining paddy field on the top of the mountain. From a distance, it looks like seven stars accompanying a bright moon, forming a beautiful picture.

Judging from the patterns of the rice planted on the terraces, they look like tiger fur patterns. They are especially beautiful during the setting sun and in the misty early morning. It is definitely worth a visit!
Ping'anzhai Zhuang Terraces are divided into the Seven Stars and the Moon Scenic Area and the Nine Dragons and Jade Tiger Scenic Area. The two scenic areas are not far from each other and can be walked for 30 minutes.
Compared with Jinkeng Dazhai, Pingan Village is small and crowded, and the terraced landscape is not as grand as Dazhai.
Everyone check the weather before going, the scenery is super beautiful.
After six hours of hiking on the mountain road, heavy rain and muddy roads, we finally arrived at Ping'an Zhuangzhai. Standing on a high place and looking at the terraced fields in the distance, the lines are like flowing clouds and water, graceful and majestic. If they were filled with water, they would be stunningly beautiful. Unfortunately, I came at the wrong season, and the terraced fields were a little dry at the moment.
I didn’t have high expectations before I arrived at Ping’an Rice Terraces, because I had seen many pictures online that were very different from the actual scene. But when I was there in person, I was still very shocked.
The scenery is beautiful along the way, and it is a place I like no matter how I look at it. If I have enough time, I can stay for a few more days to feel the morning light and sunset here. I really have a lot to feel.
I feel that Ping'an Village is worth visiting. It is relatively quiet and more suitable for staying overnight to experience the life of local people.
The terraces are like chains and belts, winding from the foot of the mountain to the top. The small hills are like snails, and the big mountains are like towers, with layers upon layers of heights.
Although we didn’t see the sunrise in the misty morning, this kind of weather was like a big soft light, perfect for taking pictures.
When we arrived, the rice had already formed ears, but the leaves were still mostly green. I heard that it would take another ten days for the rice to turn yellow.
The terraces are narrow and long, stretching from top to bottom, layer upon layer, one after another, all in gold and green. This beautiful sight does not make the eyes feel tired, nor does it make the heart feel irritable and painful.
Staring at the mountains, the gentle mountain breeze blows on your face, the fragrance of rice refreshes your heart, everything is comfortable and peaceful.
When we went there, it was almost evening, but the fog was quite thick and it was still very beautiful.
The Seven Stars and the Moon Observation Deck is surrounded by homestays that are more exquisite than ordinary ones. It is a very pleasant experience to stay here and watch the entire terraced field. The inn here has an independent private observation deck, so you don’t have to compete with tourists for the best viewing position. You can walk to the highest observation deck and look at the terraced fields under your feet. The momentum of the earth is fully revealed under your feet. Looking at the entire terraced field from different heights also gives you a different and extraordinary feeling!
The advantage of Ping'an Dazhai Terraces is that tourists can go down to the fields, which is a completely different feeling from admiring them from the observation deck. Of course, the road is more difficult to walk on, so be careful.
After a long journey, the driver finally brought us to Ping'an Zhuangzhai Terraces. After returning from Xianggong Mountain, we didn't see the sunrise and everyone was a little down. I comforted them from time to time and told them not to worry because our trip had just begun. Then we saw the poetry and the distance we longed for! We arrived at Ping'an Zhuangzhai Terraces in the afternoon. It was still gray in the morning, but suddenly there was a little sun. So I took pictures of the golden rice.
It is said that Pingan Village was developed the earliest and has the most mature conditions. This is true. There are indeed more small shops than Jinkeng Dazhai, and there are also bars and other stores, but transportation is a big problem. If you take a chartered car from a travel agency from Guilin or Yangshuo, you will basically stop at the Dazhai parking lot. After visiting Dazhai, it is not recommended to walk to Pingan Village from scenic spots No. 1 or No. 2. It takes three or four hours to walk on a small road, and it is easy to get lost. Generally, you go back to the Dazhai parking lot, take a bus to Erlong Bridge (15 yuan fare), and then wait for the yellow bus to Pingan Village at the foot of the mountain at Erlong Bridge (there are no buses between Pingan Village and Dazhai). Then the problem comes. There are very few buses to and from Pingan Village at the foot of the mountain, and there is only one bus every one and a half to two hours. I took my nephew on a backpacking trip, and it was almost 11 o'clock when I arrived at Erlong Bridge. I kept waiting for the bus but it didn't come. There happened to be a farmhouse restaurant next to Erlong Bridge (it had just opened that day), so I had lunch at this restaurant. The price is similar to that at the Dazhai parking lot, and the store owner is very friendly. During the meal, a bus to Pingan Village came. Unfortunately, I hadn't finished eating yet, so I thought I would leave after eating. As a result, after finishing eating, I waited for an hour but still no one came (during this period, I encountered many yellow or blue minibuses going to Pingan Village, which are characterized by a sticker with a number on the front glass, but these buses are directly sent to Pingan Village from the bottom of the mountain without stopping on the way). I had to walk up the mountain with my nephew (although the road sign indicated that it was only 6 kilometers, it was quite tiring because it was uphill). Fortunately, after climbing about 3 kilometers, I met a kind private car owner who was traveling alone and took us to the mountain. Later, after going down the mountain, I learned from the restaurant owner that a blue bus came up not long after we went up the mountain, but I didn't know that there were also blue buses... Then there are two types of buses, yellow and blue, and there are also two types of minibuses that do not carry passengers on the way, yellow and blue. How to distinguish? The most essential difference is that there are shelves on the top and side of the back half of the bus (see the first picture below)!!! You can wave when you see this kind of car (there are few passengers waiting for the car at Erlong Bridge, and even fewer passengers getting off, so they usually don't stop). The scenery of the scenic area is not much different from Jinkeng Dazhai. The Qixing Banyue Observation Deck is under maintenance (but there is no notice at the entrance of the scenic area, only at Jiulong Wuhu and the intersection close to Qixing Banyue. There is a gate that is not allowed to pass, but you can go around from below, which is also how the construction workers enter and exit). You can overlook it from the terraced fields that are lower in terrain, but the view is definitely not as good as the observation deck. Jiulong Wuhu has nice scenery, but its name is as abstract as the twelve constellations. There are battery cars from Jiulong Wuhu to the entrance of the scenic area, which costs 30 yuan per person for a one-way trip, and it takes about ten minutes. After returning to the entrance, I wanted to take a minibus back, but was told that they did not sell tickets to individual passengers, but only accepted tour groups... Fortunately, I met a bus going down the mountain just after leaving the minibus ticket office. I asked the ticket seller that if I missed this bus, I would have to wait another hour. Get off at Erlong Bridge and wait for the travel agency to charter a bus back to Guilin. While waiting for the bus, we rested for a while in the restaurant we had eaten at noon. The owner was very welcoming and provided peanuts and tea for free.
Pingan Village is relatively large and was developed earlier, so catering, accommodation, and internal and external transportation are more mature. The artificial brick and stone paths made us feel like we were walking for the whole morning.
I went to Ping'an Rice Terraces and Jinkeng Rice Terraces. The weather was bad and there was heavy fog. The scenery was beautiful when the fog cleared, but the photos were not good without sunshine. Ping'an Rice Terraces are more beautiful than Jinkeng Rice Terraces, and the prices are also cheaper. I don't know why the guide recommends Jinkeng Rice Terraces, but the public transportation of Ping'an Rice Terraces is not as convenient as that of Jinkeng Rice Terraces
We got up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, but the weather was not good and it rained heavily. After breakfast, we braved the heavy rain to go to the Seven Stars and the Moon Scenic Area in Ping'an Village. We walked for an hour on the mountain road from Guzhuang Village. The rain stopped when we were almost at Ping'an Village. Maybe it was because of the rain that the terraces in the Seven Stars and the Moon Scenic Area were filled with water like a mirror, which was very beautiful and magnificent.
Ping'an Terraces are very beautiful after being flooded. I will go somewhere else next October.
Before I went, I asked a local friend to recommend a trip. He said that Dragon's Back must be visited. It was worth the trip. I went there on October 3rd. The rice was not yet completely golden, but it was already very beautiful. I signed up for a one-day tour. The tour guide urged us to gather at the foot of the mountain at 16:00. If we went to both the Seven Stars and the Moon and the Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Observation Deck, we would be late. But later I went to both observation decks. It was quite rushed. I suggest that everyone should charter a car or drive to the terraced fields.
I feel that Pingan Village is more suitable for taking photos. When I went there, I first went to Jinkeng Dazhai. Everyone said that the Jinkeng terraces were spectacular, and the Jinfoding landscape was really good. On the contrary, I think Pingan Village is more pleasing to the eyes than Jinkeng. It is better to visit Pingan Village first to Qixing Banyue, then Jiulong Wuhu, and then go down the mountain. You don’t have to worry about taking the wrong road on the mountain and following the crowd. Just follow the stone slabs.
We arrived at noon. I was so tired from climbing the mountain, but it was still less majestic than the Jinkeng next door. The facilities in the scenic area need to be improved. Although I understand that fences cannot be built on the terraces, the road to the viewing platform is really too narrow!
Also, if you don't want to climb the mountain for a self-driving tour, it is recommended to park at the parking lot near the reservoir instead of the Dadi parking lot at the entrance. If you park at Dadi, you have to climb up from halfway up the mountain!
However, the local villagers are still relatively simple and honest, and will chat with you in a friendly and non-profit manner on the road.
I never thought it would be so spectacular before I went there. It was so beautiful in the evening.
We had dinner halfway up the mountain. The restaurant was crowded and the price was moderate. The bamboo rice was fragrant and the fish was fresh. The most special thing was the tofu soup, which was sour and sweet. Four people finished a big pot of soup. It was super good!
The spectacular Longji Rice Terraces are fresh and natural. After a rain in the morning, the clouds rolled in and out. Walking on the path in the field, you can see the testimony of the hard work of the local people for hundreds of years.
It was a little early to go there. The water was released after the Dragon Boat Festival. The visual effect was slightly worse, but it was still beautiful. Ping'an Village was more commercialized.
Don’t rush to take photos yet, take photos when you get to the best viewing platform!!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. It is recommended to come from May to October when the irrigation is better. We came during the rainy season, so there were few people. The rainy season also has its own beauty. It rained for half a month and we saw this fairyland-like beauty. It was so beautiful that we didn't want to leave. It was so beautiful.
It is considered to be the earliest developed terraced field and is very commercialized.
March seemed to be the off-season, with few tourists and the best viewing hotel closed. We had to find another one. Although we could see the terraced fields from the window, the roof in front blocked half of it, which was not very satisfactory.
It was cloudy and rainy with thick fog. It was really not a good season to see the show.
Ping'an Rice Terraces are concentrated in Ping'an Village, with two scenic spots, Seven Stars and the Moon and Nine Dragons and Five Tigers, and the nearby Longji Ancient Village.
We went up the mountain at 8 o'clock in the morning. The weather was a bit cold that day, but it was definitely worth it to see a different kind of scenery.
Heavy fog, I can't see anything ohmygod
Ping'an Rice Terraces has a lot of attractions, it's easy to climb, there are Chinese and Western food to eat, and there are expensive hotels like Li'an Villa. The scenery is great. Although many people say it's commercialized, there are still many foreigners who like the nature, rice fields, rice and the local old houses there.
There are many villages in Longji Rice Terraces, and the scenery in each village is different. I went to Ping'an Village, which has the Seven Stars and the Moon Observation Deck and the Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Observation Deck. It is a very famous village in Longji Rice Terraces. The terraced fields here are also very beautiful, with layers upon layers, magnificent and vast.
Located in Longsheng, Guilin, Guangxi, the magnificent Longji Rice Terraces are located here.
Pingan Village is probably the earliest and most well-developed village among the three villages in Longji. It may not be as spectacular as Dazhai, but it is worth seeing for its gentleness. It is probably the first choice for a day trip to Longji.
There are several Longsheng Longji Terraces. We climbed the Ping'an Zhuang Terraces, which were really shocking. The terraces that have been flooded are the most beautiful. The flooding time every year is from May to September. We went there in April, and we were not able to catch up with the flooding. Fortunately, Jackie Chan's new movie "Skiptrace" was just filmed here, so the terraces were flooded in advance. We were so happy because of Jackie Chan's big brother. Don't worry, don't worry, people's potential is always unlimited. We were scared to climb with our kids at the beginning and wanted to take the cable car up. But we heard from the local grandma that it was not far and it would take more than half an hour to get up, so we started to climb with the baby in our arms. As a result, more than one and a half hours passed, more than two and a half hours passed, and more than three and a half hours passed... We climbed for three or four hours. Although it was very tiring, now I think there is no regret, and it is worth it to see such a beautiful scenery. Maybe the grandma has understood this truth a long time ago, thank you grandma.
I came to Longji Terraces mainly to watch the Shunyang Festival and the Torch Festival. The scenic area is built around the terraces, giving tourists a path to shoot around the terraces from multiple angles. Other infrastructure is relatively lacking or old. I personally think that the main purpose is to shoot the terraces, but there are also folk dances and festivals of releasing chickens and fish in the fields in the village, allowing tourists to participate. If the tour time is 1 to 2 days, it is still suitable. In addition, in terms of food, a circle around the village is basically bamboo tube rice and rice noodles, as well as roast chicken and bamboo tube chicken. Bamboo tube rice is 20 yuan each, and roast chicken is priced at 138 yuan in some stores, which is a bit expensive. In terms of specialties, each store is basically the same, wild lilies, flower mushrooms, dried fish, flower tea, cow bone combs, etc.
Ping'an Rice Terraces are concentrated in Ping'an Village. Because of its early development, the conditions are very mature. There are souvenir shopping stalls, restaurants and inns, and even bars, massage parlors, cafes, etc., so you can still enjoy modern life in the mountains. Therefore, this is also a place where tour groups often go for one-day tours, and it has the largest flow of people among the three major rice terraces.
Compared with the Jinkeng Terraces, the Ping'an Terraces are more beautiful and have smooth lines. The Seven Stars and the Moon and the Nine Dragons and Five Tigers are two famous viewing spots, which are relatively close to each other, so you can easily go back and forth between the fields to choose a suitable viewing location.
Ping'an Zhuangzhai Terraced Fields is a relatively mature terraced field with scenic advantages. The main attractions include Seven Stars and the Moon, Nine Dragons and Five Tigers, etc.
The scenery is really good, standing on the top of the mountain, the scale is grand
There are buses departing from Guilin Qintan Bus Station to Longsheng. Tell the driver to go to the terraced fields. There are minivans to take you back and forth from the place where you get off to the entrance of the terraced fields.
I really wanted to see the water-filled terraced fields, but unfortunately I didn't see them. However, they are still worth seeing and are spectacular.
Longji Rice Terraces
We should go to the small village
Because there are few people, it is not crowded.
Bamboo Rice and Bamboo Chicken on the Mountain
Worth a try
Compared with Jinkeng, I prefer Ping'an! The scenic spot is not far from the hotel. There are cafes or bars at night. The food is relatively cheap. You can try fruits you have never seen before and eat bamboo rice!
We went there on the 3rd of the National Day. Because the hotel was full and the price was too expensive, we decided to sign up for a one-day tour online. The original itinerary was to go to Jinkeng, but there were too many people on the National Day, which caused traffic jams on the mountain roads. We lined up at 9 am to wait for the special car to pick us up until 1 pm. We wanted to refund the ticket, but the tour guide refused to let us refund. The tour guide suggested to change to Ping'an temporarily. It takes more than an hour to take the bus from the ticket hall to the scenic spot. The mountain road is rugged. It takes more than two o'clock to get to the scenic spot. There are only two hours to play. The schedule is tight, so we can only take a quick look. Even if it is not the hottest Jinkeng scenic spot, it is very beautiful! But this trip left too many regrets and dissatisfactions. I spent 170 yuan to sign up for a group. In addition to the 2-hour tour, I got on the bus from 7:30 in the morning to Longsheng at more than 9 o'clock, and then stayed to wait for the special car. I started to go up the mountain at 1:30 and went down the mountain at 5:30 in the evening. I was stuck in traffic and returned to Guilin at 12 o'clock in the morning. This day was spent in waiting and traffic jams. Although I tossed for a day, I also made up my mind to come again next time and stay for two days. Also, I must not come on holidays!
Suitable time: All year round, each season has a different flavor. I went there in August. Play time: I think half a day is enough. If you want to watch the sunrise from the top, you should start going up in the afternoon the day before. Personal suggestion: Student ID can get a 50% discount. It is best to bring sunscreen in summer because it is really hot up there. You can try to sit down on the cable car, and it is also a different flavor to see the terraced fields from the car. Disadvantages: The service facilities are still not perfect, the food on the top is not very delicious, and it is very expensive~
Climb to the top of the mountain in one go, and the whole Pingan Village is at your feet. The mountain breeze blows away the summer heat, and facing the vast mountain scenery, your mind suddenly becomes open. The seven stars and the moon under your feet bloom quietly in front of you, and there are stilt houses dotted in the distance. Time seems to stand still. This beautiful picture makes people reluctant to look away. Although I heard that the scenery of Pingan Village is not as magnificent as that of Dazhai, I am already satisfied to see such a beautiful scenery.
There is a Seven Stars Arching the Moon attraction in Zhuangzhai, which is eight circular terraces, the one in the middle is the moon, and the others are stars. According to local people, the moon you see at different times is different. It's a pity that we could only take a quick look and couldn't appreciate the different scenery. It was close to noon, and the sun was too strong, which sunburned my skin. No matter how beautiful the scenery is, I don't want to see it again.
On the 18th, I left Dazhai and came to Ping'an Zhuangzhai Scenic Area. This place was developed earlier, and there are bars and restaurants. The villages are concentrated and connected, and the terraces are on both sides. Tourist groups usually come here to enjoy the scenery.
This time I went to Pingan Village. The road up the mountain has many bends. I drove carefully, afraid that I would fall into the abyss if I wasn’t careful (a bit exaggerated, but it’s really dangerous, everyone should be careful when driving). I could park in Pingan Village, and I carried my luggage and started my terraced field tour! .
Climbing a mountain is really physically demanding. Fortunately, I exercise regularly, but even so, it took me about an hour to climb from the middle of the mountain to the top. You can imagine how high this mountain is! .
Although I have seen the works of masters on terraced fields more than once, I was still shocked when I saw this scene with my own eyes! It was so beautiful! Sitting on the observation deck, looking at the legendary "Nine Oxen and Five Tigers" in front of me, I felt a sense of satisfaction.
It takes a long climb to reach the top of the terraced fields. It is not recommended to go there if the weather is sunny. The goods in the scenic area are also more expensive than those sold in Yangshuo.
Ping'an Zhuang Terraces are located near Ping'an Village, where there are Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Terraces and Seven Stars and Moon Scenic Spots. The main residents are Zhuang people. If you plan a two-day tour, it is recommended to stay in Ping'an Village. The specific route is as follows:
Day 1: Guilin - Longsheng Jinkeng - Tiantouzhai (Hotel accommodation in Panorama Building) - Golden Buddha Peak to watch the sunset
Day 2: Watch the sunrise at Xishan Shaoguan Scenic Spot - Thousand-Layered Ladder Scenic Spot - Ping'an Village (accommodation at Ping'an Resort Hotel) - Nine Dragons and Five Tigers - Seven Stars and Moon Scenic Spot
or
Day 2: Watch the sunrise at Xishan Shaoguan Scenic Spot - Thousand-Layer Ladder Scenic Spot - Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Scenic Spot - Seven Stars and Moon Scenic Spot - Get off at the parking lot at the entrance of Ping'an Village before 5pm and take the last bus back to Guilin
After we crossed the Fengyu Bridge, Ping'an Village appeared in front of us. However, it seemed that there were not many ordinary families, and most of the houses had been converted into restaurants and hotels.
I really like the architecture of Zhuangzhai, it feels very simple and ancient, and the wooden attic is in perfect harmony with nature.
We went to Ping'an Village, which is relatively smaller than Dazhai, the entrance to the other side of the Longji Terraces Scenic Area, and is more suitable for a one-day trip.
We walked along the stone road on the left side of Pingan Village and arrived at the scenic spot No. 2, "Seven Stars Watching the Moon", in about half an hour. The magnificent scenery of Longji Terraces was fully displayed in front of us. Standing on the highest viewing platform of the No. 2 scenic spot, it is hard not to be shocked by the beautiful scenery in front of you. The yellow-green terraces are like colorful ribbons covering the mountains, which are particularly beautiful under the sunshine.
Looking from the top of the mountain, the entire village and terraced fields have been completely integrated into the mountain. They appear so coordinated and harmonious, not abrupt at all. Instead, they add a lot of vitality to the mountain, making it look more vivid and elegant.
The best part is that as you move forward on the mountain road, the perspective keeps changing, and the terraces present different shapes. Every few steps, the terraces have different changes, and each change can present a different charm.
The viewing platform at Scenic Spot No. 1 is not as lively as the viewing platform at Scenic Spot No. 2. Standing on the viewing platform No. 1, you can see the viewing platform No. 2 with the national flag in the distance, which is also the commanding height of the entire terraced field, with an altitude of 880 meters.
Longji Terraces, where ethnic minorities farm, haha,
Compared with Jiabang Rice Terraces, Longji Rice Terraces have a different flavor. If Jiabang is a beautiful woman from the south of the Yangtze River, then Longji is a mighty and powerful general from the north, very large and magnificent.
The harmonious and peaceful terraced fields and the peaceful ecological environment for human habitation, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, allow people to eat and live in farmhouses, release stress, get close to nature, and truly integrate into the "idyllic" life.
There are hotels, restaurants and cafes everywhere. It is very enjoyable to enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the magnificent scenery. It is also nice to stay in the terraced village for a few days if you have time.
I went there at a wrong time and didn't see the most beautiful side of Tidian. It's a pity
Ping'an Zhuangzhai is a place you want to visit again once you have been there. The clouds and mists lingering between the mountains, the clearly defined terraces, the rustic villages, the simple folk customs and the fresh air will always give you an unforgettable feeling of spiritual return!
If you have the opportunity, I hope friends can consider this place as a part of your trip, it will leave you with a different memory!
Longji Rice Terraces are 27 kilometers away from Longsheng County and 80 kilometers away from Guilin City. The scenic area covers a total area of 66 square kilometers. Longji Ping'an Zhuang Rice Terraces are divided into Ping'an Zhuang Rice Terraces and Jinkeng Hongyao Rice Terraces. Ping'an Rice Terraces are concentrated in Ping'an Village, with two scenic spots, Seven Stars and Moon and Nine Dragons and Five Tigers, and the nearby Longji Ancient Village. Jinkeng Rice Terraces are located in Dazhai area, consisting of five villages: Dazhai, Tiantou, Zhuangjie, Xinzhai, and Xiaozhai. The main sightseeing spots are Tiantou Village and Dazhai.
It's a very commercialized scenic spot, and there aren't many terraced fields left.
Walking to the highest point of the terraced field, the rice fields are about to be completed. Looking from above, the layers are very three-dimensional, but they are definitely not as beautiful as the photos seen on the Internet, because those are all artificially photoshopped effects.
The end of August is not the best time to visit the terraced fields. The best time is in the spring when the water is poured in. The mirror-like terraced fields would be so beautiful if you stayed in the mountains to watch the sunrise and sunset. Or is it impossible to see all the most beautiful things in a region in one trip? Just enjoy the present. Because of the heavy rain a few days ago, the whole mountain was full of water and was slowly emitting mist, which obscured its magnificent figure.
Our itinerary is to go to Longji Rice Terraces, actually one of the most famous is Ping'anzhai Rice Terraces, it is really a feast for the eyes, but the journey is quite far, so if you don't have enough time, it is not recommended to go there. But I feel that in addition to the Li River, the rice terraces are a must-see.
Golden rice fields, a very comfortable small village, a walk alone in the field path at sunset, watching the smoke curling in the distance, it's very nice
Wangji Farmhouse, we stayed here, the boss was very busy, the business was so hot, the accommodation conditions were good, the room was in a good location
Yao ethnic group aunties, uncles...
Bamboo tube rice... sweet potato...
lure...
Ping'an Village is relatively easy to reach, and most tourist groups will go through Ping'an Village, but its commercial development is a bit excessive.
Ping'an Zhuang Terraces: Ping'an Zhuang Terraces are located at an altitude of 380-880 meters above sea level. In this vast world of terraces, there are 15,862 terraces of various sizes. The largest terrace is only 0.62 acres, and the smallest terrace can only plant 3 seedlings. There are sayings that "one jump of a frog covers three fields" and "a straw raincoat covers the fields."
Going up and down the mountain, passing through the village and entering the village, only those who can endure the five-hour mountain road can experience the joy of seeing a village. Of course, there is more madness for food. Almost all the wooden buildings in the village have restaurants in the lower half and hotels in the upper half.
This peaceful pastoral life is easy to enjoy as long as you have money, but it is not easy to keep it together~!
When I woke up early the next day, I was delighted to see that I could basically see the entire terraced field. The mountains in the distance were looming in the mist, so I quickly took a few pictures.
I have been to many places, including ancient towns in other places, but I like this place, a very real ancient town, a very natural village, which has not been changed by those developers for profit. When you walk into this village, you will not see a strong commercial atmosphere. I hope it will always remain like this. I met you on this journey of misty rain and Longsheng. Your appearance moved me and intoxicated me. I am willing to indulge here. Your beauty will never be tired of my life, and I will be happy when I think of you. Your simple beauty makes me linger here, and it is worth the trip.
To get to Ping'an Village, you have to climb to a commanding height to see the full view of the terraced fields. Every short distance there is a viewing platform for tourists to take pictures. Many professional photographers also come here to take pictures. Not only can you see the beautiful scenery, but you can also see very professional equipment. It can be said to be a feast for the eyes.
Ping'an Zhuang Terraces has three viewing platforms, which are actually three different mountaintops from which you can view the terraces from different angles. Walking on the small path in the mountains, you will see grasshoppers awakened and jumping around. When you stop and look around, you will find that you are actually in the terraces. I was completely unaware of the magnificent terraces. It really fits the saying that you are in the clouds and don't know where you are. The terraces in April have not been fully filled with water, but the scenery is already very good. The sense of layering makes people want to take a bite.
