Located at the junction of Dafang and Qianxi counties, it is the largest native azalea forest in China so far, hence the name Baili Azalea.
There are dozens of rhododendron species distributed on the narrow hills about 50 kilometers long. The most rare thing is "one tree with different flowers". Different varieties of flowers bloom on one tree, and the most spectacular one can have up to 7 varieties.
The scenic area is inhabited by the Yi and Miao ethnic groups. The flowering period is the time for several ethnic minority festivals, and you can see colorful ethnic performances at that time.

Baili Rhododendron is divided into two scenic areas, Jinpo and Pudi. When I came, the flowers in Jinpo were beginning to wither, and there were no more in Pudi, so I didn't go to Pudi. I was traveling by car and followed the navigation to the tourist center, bought tickets and shuttle bus tickets. The ticket is 130 for adults, and the shuttle bus is 10 yuan for a round trip. It takes about five minutes to take the shuttle bus to the entrance of Jinpo Scenic Area. I have to complain about this shuttle bus. If you drive by yourself, there is no need to take it. You can drive directly to the entrance of Jinpo, where there is a parking lot. There is a sightseeing cable car at the entrance of the scenic area. The ticket is 35 yuan. There are local people setting up stalls in the scenic area. Let me tell you first, there was a stall at the first boarding point, and I asked about the price, and then said that the jelly at my home looked different, and then this woman started to scold me, very fiercely, saying don't bother if I don't want to buy it, don't buy it, don't buy it. At the next boarding point, there are fried potatoes, jelly, and water egg corn, which are quite delicious. The park is very large. I personally recommend buying a cable car ticket. You can stop at a sightseeing spot and slowly appreciate it before going to the next spot. It is very relaxing to stroll among the flowers. There is a unique charm to viewing the sea of flowers from a high place. It is still worth a visit.
Baili Rhododendron begins to bloom in late March every year, with some blooming at a later time depending on the variety. It reaches its peak flowering period around the Qingming Festival.
Therefore, the Qingming Festival holiday every year is when the scenic area is most crowded with vehicles and tourists.
Baili Dujuan includes two scenic spots, Pudi and Jinpo. The ticket price is 130 yuan, valid on the same day, including the two scenic spots, but does not include shuttle buses and sightseeing buses.
In order to enter the scenic area smoothly, we agreed with the hotel to start breakfast at 6 o'clock and then drive to the Pudi Scenic Area.
I had hoped to visit both scenic spots, but I got stuck in a traffic jam as soon as I got off the highway. I didn't walk far (less than 1 kilometer) before I arrived near Parking Lot No. 1, but was stopped in front and told that all the parking lots inside were full, so I could only park here.
There are several parking lots and entrances in the Pudi Scenic Area. This one is the closest to the highway intersection.
At that time, I saw that this large parking lot was already half full. There were only a few dozen parking spaces at the farthest point from the visitor center, and on the road outside the parking lot, there were endless cars moving slowly.
After parking the car, I went to the ticket machine at the tourist center to pick up the tickets I had booked online in advance. I was glad that I didn’t have to queue up to buy tickets.
Then I hurried to queue up for the shuttle bus. This parking lot is far away from the gate of the scenic area, but when I asked, I was told that I had to go back to the ticket office to buy tickets, and I had to queue up together with the tickets. I was dizzy!
If you start counting from the time you get off the highway, enter the parking lot, queue up to buy tickets, queue up to wait for the bus, and then enter the scenic area, it will take about 2 hours.
If you arrive later, it may take more than 2 hours. Of course, according to the subsequent announcement of the scenic spot, if you arrive at noon, you will not be able to buy a ticket, and you may not even be able to get off the highway.
So be sure to travel during off-peak hours.
There is not much introduction about Baili Dujuan on the Internet. As a single traveler, I did not make a good strategy. I took the train to Dafang South and then realized that it would be more convenient to go to Qianxi. I stayed in Dafang for one night. The next day, I took a bus from Dafang to Pudi at about 12 o'clock. The bus passed the entrance of Pudi Scenic Area, but the driver spoke a dialect that I could not understand at all, which led to the bus going too far to the town. I took a motorcycle back and entered the park at 12:30. I did not take a bus. It was enough to slowly tour the scenic area in 2 hours. In fact, there were only a few places that were really good to see. I walked as soon as I saw the road, but found that it was useless to walk further in. I wasted more than an hour in vain. I asked the staff in the scenic area where to take a bus to Jinpo. The reply was that it was the ticket office. I did not know that there was an East Gate and a West Gate. As a result, I returned the same way. After going out, I asked and found that I had to take a bus at the West Gate. The West Gate was 3 kilometers away from the East Gate. If there was no car, I had to walk, and I could not enter the scenic area again unless I bought a new ticket. I heard from many people that Pudi is more beautiful than Jinpo. In addition, there were no cars at Jinpo at 6 o'clock. There were only cars to Dafang at the entrance of the scenic area. I had to give up Jinpo and go back to Dafang. In summary, the scenery is beautiful, the transportation is not very convenient, and the service is not very thoughtful. It is recommended to travel by car.
I went there today, and the flowers weren't fully bloomed yet, maybe about half.
Let me talk about some serious stuff: The ticket price for the scenic spot is now 130. If you start from Qianxi, take a bus from the old bus station to Jinpo or Pudi. When you get on the bus, make it clear that you want to go to the scenic spot, and you can be taken to the door. It's more than 30 kilometers to Jinpo, 10 yuan, and more than 40 minutes. I don't know if I haven't taken Pudi. But Jinpo and Pudi have different buses. Choose which scenic spot to go to first before you go. The earliest bus seems to be at 7:30 in the morning. The license plate number and phone number of the driver who runs this bus are posted in the car. Be sure to take a picture. The return trip is not on time, and it may not go to the scenic spot. You have to call the driver to pick you up. If you want to go back to Qianxi on the same day, you must pay attention to the return time and the order of the tour. The bus from Pudi to Qianxi will be gone at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. It's not easy to take a black car as you think. You have to walk to the town to get a private car. It's said that it's a long way. You can only go back to Jinpo to take a bus. Jinpo closes the bus later, it is said that it's 6 or 7 o'clock (I haven't verified it myself). I got on the return trip at about 5:30. The bus is used by local people to travel to and from the county town, so it is likely to be overloaded. If you don't want to squeeze four people into a three-seater, try to sit in a single or double seat.
There is a through bus between Jinpo and Pudi Scenic Area, which is about 10 kilometers away. The current one-way fare is 10 yuan per person. Both sides will depart when they are full, and will depart on the hour if they are not full. The last bus of Jinpo is at 6 o'clock, and the last bus of Pudi is at 5:30, and the second to last bus is at 5 o'clock. Jinpo takes the bus at the entrance of the scenic area, and Pudi is near the Yi Flower Sea scenic spot in the scenic area. If you take the through bus of Pudi, you must ask the staff clearly where to take the bus.
The biggest highlight of Baili Dujuan is the sea of azalea flowers all over the mountains, but the most beautiful flowering period is only from the end of March to the end of April each year, and the cost-effectiveness of visiting at other times is not high; if you happen to encounter the azalea flowering period, Baili Dujuan Scenic Area must be visited! It is the representative scenic spot of Bijie ranked first with Zhijin Cave! You can ignore it at other times.
I come to Guizhou every year, mainly for the delicious food in Guizhou. I have been to most of the attractions. This time I came mainly for Bijie Baili Rhododendron. By the way, I also went to Fanjing Mountain, Libo, Zhenyuan, Dong Village, and the Miao Village I have been to before, and I also visited Qingyan again.
Bijie Dafang was originally a relatively poor and remote area in Guizhou. On the way here, you will find that there is no one living in the deep mountains. You can imagine how isolated it was without roads and railways. Since the azalea tree is not easy to ignite, the local people do not use it to make fire and cook, which has also created the current Baili Azalea tourism and holiday industry.
You can take a long-distance bus from Guiyang, drive yourself, or sign up for a two-day tour, which is more than 200 kilometers. Bijie also has an airport, but it is still dozens of kilometers away from the scenic area, which is not very convenient. The scenic area is divided into Jinpo and Pudi. I went to Pudi this time. Many tour groups also go here. It is said that the area here is larger than Jinpo. In general, the scenery is very shocking and spectacular. The rhododendrons all over the mountains and the sea of flowers are really a place for taking photos and leisure. However, since the scenic area is relatively new, the road traffic outside is relatively chaotic, the command is also chaotic, and there are very congested holidays. The command of buses and electric cars entering the scenic area is also relatively chaotic. It takes a long time to queue up. Some of them drove away without a few people sitting, and there were many pedestrians on the bus road, which caused secondary congestion. This is quite annoying. The toilets in the scenic area are good and the supporting facilities are OK. There are some local people pushing carts to buy snacks in the second and third attractions, and there are relatively few trash cans. Overall it is worth a visit.
There are countless wild azalea trees, which are very spectacular. However, when people walk under the trees, the flowers are facing the sky, which makes it inconvenient to appreciate.
Are you serious? I actually saw Baili Rhododendron in the niche recommendation? I was deceived to park in the scenic area when I was traveling by car. I took pictures for an hour and bought a shuttle ticket. It was crowded and crowded. There were queues in the scenic area. There were rhododendrons and there were crowds of people. It was not worth it to pay 200 yuan per person to see the flowers.
The scenery is great. I went back to Guiyang and went to Lao Lu to eat the Bali Baliu Shui Wok Soup, which tasted good.
It's not worth going. It just planted some azaleas and charged 130 yuan for a ticket. I think 30 yuan is enough, and there is nothing else to do. I feel that there are too many scams in Guizhou...
Definitely worth a visit! The scenery is so beautiful! But don't stay too long, you can leave in time after being amazed.
I went there during the Qingming Festival. The Baili Dujuan Scenic Area is divided into the Jinpo Scenic Area and the Pudi Scenic Area. The two scenic areas are 20 kilometers apart, and the ticket is 130 per person. Go to the Pudi Scenic Area first, and you need to take a shuttle bus to get in. To go to the Jinpo Scenic Area, you have to drive out by yourself. The road is very congested. I came out at about 3 o'clock to take a bus and then drive to the Jinpo Scenic Area. The road is completely blocked when I am close to the Jinpo Scenic Area. It is completely dark when I arrive at Jinpo!
I have to complain about the management. They clearly know that the two scenic spots cannot be visited in one day due to traffic jams during the peak season. Why do they have to buy a pass, which is only valid on the same day? They should buy tickets for the two scenic spots separately, and tourists can arrange their schedules according to their own time, or change to a pass that is valid for two to three days, which is more reasonable. In addition, they have charged 130 yuan per person for the ticket, which is not cheap. They even charge 20 yuan per car for parking in the scenic area shuttle parking lot! The management of the scenic area is a bit messy, the queues for buying tickets and taking the bus are messy, and the toilets in the P6 parking lot are small and there is no water for flushing. It is really too dirty... In addition to the beautiful scenery, the management and facilities of the park do not meet the 5A standard at all.
The Baili azalea in Bijie is in full bloom this year! It's so beautiful!
It's a great place, but the management is chaotic and the tour guide is bad. But it's really beautiful to see the flowers all over the mountains.
I came too early, the flowers haven't bloomed yet. They are just buds. I regret it...
Baili Dujuan is low-key.
The publicity of Baili Dujuan is not very strong.
No wonder the Director of the National Tourism Administration said at the Tourism Development Conference:
Other places are better advertised than they actually are.
The actual scene of Baili Dujuan is many times better than advertised.
The azaleas in the Azalea Forest have large flowers, large trees, and bright colors.
It is said that there are dozens of varieties of Baili azalea, and I can't tell them apart. What I feel is that the flowers are diverse and colorful. I can only distinguish them by color. There are bright red, pink, golden yellow, light yellow, snow white, light white... one by one, one tree after another, covering the hillside and stretching into the valley, forming a sea of flowers. The spring scenery in the garden cannot be contained, this is the feeling
I heard from the staff that it was already the flowering period, and it had snowed two days before, so a lot of flowers had fallen. Imagine how spectacular it would have been if it was in full bloom.
You can take a bus at Jinyang Bus Station and drive for about two hours! The best viewing period is from mid-March to mid-April every year. Don't come at other times because the flowers are all gone. The most important thing to come here is to see all kinds of azaleas!
The ticket is very expensive, 120 yuan. There is no scenery except various flowers. The scenic area is very large, basically a sea of flowers! There is no shuttle bus in the park, and everyone has to walk, which is very inhumane! Those who like to appreciate flowers can come!
I wandered aimlessly on the streets of Zhijin, wondering whether I should visit the Baili Dujuan scenic spot.
The dilemma is that in this season, we all know that there are no azaleas to see. (I am not interested in any flowers or plants) But it is a national 5A scenic spot after all, and this is my third visit to Guizhou, and I want to visit the southwestern part of Guizhou that I missed before, and the No. 1 attraction is the "Hundred Miles of Azaleas" in Bijie.
I got on the bus and said I wanted to go to the scenic spot. The ticket seller said I would get off at Pudi and charged me 15 yuan. When we got to Pudi Township and asked me to get off, I said, "Is this the Flower Sea Scenic Spot?"
Oh, then add another 5 dollars.
It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
The bus left at 12:30, and at 2:00 in the afternoon, I was dropped off at the "Wucai Road" scenic area, a sub-scenic area of the "Bai Li Du Juan" scenic area. I looked at the place with no one in confusion (only for a second or two), and when I turned back to ask the driver, the bus had already left in a cloud of dust...
There is no one guarding the entrance to the scenic area (there is no one inside either, it is very quiet).
At the beginning I was complaining, but as I walked I became excited - it was awesome!
How can you not enjoy wandering around a scenic spot without anyone else? Moreover, the sky gradually cleared up and blue sky and white clouds appeared.
About 600 to 700 meters along this tourist hiking trail, a wooden plank road leading into the woods appeared on the other side. I guessed there would be some kind of high-rise viewing platform there, so I crossed the asphalt road and climbed up along the wooden steps.
As a result, as I walked, I found that there was no viewing platform except passing by a deserted "snack street". The wooden plank road overlapped with the asphalt road along the slope, and I was back to the asphalt road.
There is a pavilion in front, which is the highest point so far, right? I will go to the top of the pavilion to take a look.
The pavilion is not very high and you can barely see far away.
Are these lush green plants in front of me all azaleas? It's a pity that it's not in bloom, otherwise the blooming of the whole mountain would be amazing! However, the feeling of the crowds of people can't compare to the feeling I have now.
When I got to this pavilion, I didn’t want to go any further.
I guess the other scenery in the scenic area is similar.
Because we went there when the azaleas were in full bloom, there were so many visitors that it took us a long time to find a parking space. We followed the crowds of visitors into the scenic area. The beautiful sea of azaleas appeared before us, and I couldn't help but marvel at the fact that there is such a large garden in the world, and such beautiful azaleas!
The scenic area is large, widely distributed, and has many varieties. According to local people, there are more than 60 varieties of flowers. The flowers are in various shapes and forms, colorful, and colorful. It is simply a sea of flowers! The sea of Bai Li Rhododendron, the world of flowers, and the paradise of flowers! I want to sing loudly for you - Bai Li Rhododendron!
We came to a wide square. In the center of the square there is a tall stone statue, which is the statue of Soma Wei. People hold sacrificial activities every year to commemorate her. The sacrificial activities are grand in scale, spectacular in scene, solemn and exciting. Holding such flower god worship activities when the azaleas are in full bloom, making the flower god worship ceremony a business card for Baili Azalea tourism, not only protects the cultural heritage of the Yi people for thousands of years, but also fully demonstrates the unique folk customs of Baili Azalea to attract more tourists to visit.
In the central part of Bijie City, Guizhou Province, there is a Baili Rhododendron Scenic Area, which is a natural virgin forest belt, 1,000-3,000 meters wide, stretching for more than 50 kilometers, with a total area of 125 square kilometers. It is a national forest park and was successfully promoted to a 5A scenic spot in 2013.
In 2007, Guizhou Province approved the establishment of the Guizhou Baili Dujuan Scenic Area Management Committee, a county-level organization dispatched by Bijie City, which governs 4 ethnic townships, two management areas, 56 village (neighborhood) committees, 600 square kilometers, and nearly 110,000 people. The tourism resources that once belonged to Qianxi and Dafang counties have been coordinated, which is very beneficial to the protection, development and construction of Baili Dujuan. Therefore, the management of the scenic area is in place and the hardware facilities have been improved.
It is recommended to go there in late March, when the rape flowers and azaleas are in bloom. Azaleas are large woody plants, very tall and growing in large clumps, which are very spectacular and beautiful.
Baili Dujuan Scenic Area is divided into two scenic areas, Jinpo and Pudi. Joint ticket purchase is implemented, and the full ticket price is 150 yuan. The ticket is valid for one day. Elderly people over 60 years old and disabled people are free of charge with valid certificates. Environmentally friendly tickets can be purchased in the scenic area. Each scenic area is purchased separately, and there is no discount ticket price. The price per person is 35 yuan.
I don't know if it's because of the good weather, but the parking lot at the entrance of the scenic spot is full of people and cars. There are long queues at several windows in the ticket hall. It is very convenient to buy tickets by Alipay and WeChat. There is a large parking lot managed by the scenic spot at the entrance of Jinpo Scenic Area, and the fee is 10 yuan per car.
Looking from the entrance of the scenic area, the colorful rhododendrons all over the mountains are very dazzling.
We first came to the Jinpo Scenic Area of the Baili Dujuan Scenic Area, and saw the winding line of environmentally friendly vehicles. At the same time, we felt that we still had plenty of energy, so we chose not to take the scenic area's electric car and walked around.
In the Jinpo Scenic Area, Baihuaping, Wanhua Tower and Soma Flower Bridge are representative attractions.
After that, we headed to Pudi. Pudi Scenic Area is still more than ten kilometers away from Jinpo Scenic Area. You can only drive by yourself or take the scenic area shuttle bus. There is no scenic area parking lot outside the Wucai Road gate. You can only park your car in the private yard across the road, and the charge for each car ranges from 20 to 30 yuan.
The Pudi Scenic Area is much larger than the Jinpo Scenic Area, and I have already consumed most of my energy, so I decided to take a car tour.
Pudi Scenic Area is at a higher altitude than Jinpo Scenic Area, so in the past, the flowers in Jinpo Scenic Area bloomed well in the early part of the flowering period, while those in Pudi Scenic Area bloomed most vigorously in the second half. The ticket seller at the door said that the flowers bloomed early today, so there is no need to wait for the Qingming Festival, and the flowers are in full bloom now.
The walking path is laid along the mountain, making it easier to appreciate the beauty of the alpine rhododendron. The red is like a ball of warm fire, the pink is delicate and charming, and the yellow is elegant and warms the heart.
Standing on Shuhua Peak, the mountains covered with rhododendrons are like colorful ribbons, stretching for hundreds of miles.
The sun was setting and the line for the sightseeing bus was too long, so I followed the staff's advice and walked down the mountain. The scenery on both sides was so lingering that the return trip was not boring.
We went there on April 2nd. It was late in the blooming season, but it was still very beautiful and stunning. Just visit Jinpo. If you stay in Pudi, you will also need to check your ticket the next morning. Moreover, the accommodation area is near the entrance. You still need to walk 700 to 800 meters to the place where there are flowers. You can't smell the fragrance of flowers if you stay inside.
Baili Dujuan is divided into two scenic areas, Jinpo and Pudi. The ticket is 135 yuan, and the sightseeing bus is 35 yuan each. You need to buy tickets separately. First, you need to take a free shuttle bus from the entrance of the scenic area to Pudi, and then tourists who want to go to Jinpo can transfer to a special sightseeing bus. Due to limited time, we only went to Pudi scenic area. At the door, I saw that there will be a world music festival here during the Qingming Festival in two days. There will be my favorite Shanying Band, Yangjima, Mo Xizishi, etc. I immediately beat my chest and stamped my feet, regretful.
The first place the sightseeing bus arrived at was the "Five-Colored Road". After touring the entire scenic area, I realized that this was the place where rhododendrons bloomed the most beautifully and densely. I regretted not staying a little longer.
The sightseeing bus here is a circular bus. Tourists need to walk to the boarding point some distance away from the drop-off point to queue up for the bus. There seem to be four sightseeing bus stops in the entire scenic area. I can't remember clearly because the latter few stops are not large and I am a little tired of them. It turns out that flowers can only be viewed from a distance. It was really a frustration when leaving the scenic area. I queued for a long time but no bus came. Note that it was not because the queue was long, but because there were no buses at all. The transportation capacity of the scenic area obviously could not keep up, which made everyone complain.
The photos were not taken well and the feeling of a sea of flowers cannot be seen at all, but the actual scenery is still nice. It was the peak flowering season when we went there, so friends who like flowers and plants should not miss it.
Don't come here, not to mention the various charges, the flowers have already withered. There are so many places to visit, and this is the worst one.
Baili Dujuan is worthy of its reputation, majestic and domineering, ecstasy and stunning
1. We came here for a one-day tour during the Qingming Festival. Maybe because of the holiday, there was a lot of traffic. It took us about four and a half hours to get to the scenic spot from Guiyang.
2. The flowering season has passed this year, and we missed the best time to see the flowers. Most of the flowers have already withered, but there are many varieties and all kinds of colors.
3. There are two main attractions in Jinpo Scenic Area, Suoma Bridge and Ma Ying Forest. It is more convenient to take an electric car, and hiking is also good if you have the energy.
4. For flower viewing and photography, weather and flowering period are more important, otherwise you will be disappointed and the 150-dollar ticket is not worth it!
A little disappointed. It looks good on the plane, but average on land.
The spectacular Baili Rhododendron is worth seeing. But I guess I will only see it once~
The scenery is beautiful, and there are many people because the flowers bloom for two months. There are many aunts who want to take some good photos of the flowers.
Today I visited the Pudi Scenic Area, and the flowers were in full bloom. Although it was misty and rainy, the flowers were crystal clear with water droplets and more spiritual. The azaleas here are the most beautiful I have seen since I was 50 years old. No matter how big the flowers are, how bright the colors are, or how wide the area is... It can be said that the mountain flowers are in full bloom, and the mountains are full of colors. It is beautiful, beautiful, and intoxicating.
Private cars must be parked outside the scenic area. The ticket price is 150 yuan per person, and the sightseeing bus price is 35 yuan per person. The scenic area is divided into two parts, Pudi and Jinpo. The tickets are universal, but the sightseeing bus ticket must be purchased separately. There are buses on both sides (5 yuan per person).
Just looking at each one of them is so charming, and looking out into the distance the mountains and fields are so spectacular that it is worthy of being called the "ribbon on the earth".
I must go to Baili Dujuan this year, it’s my first time!
There are too many people, and the blooming period is short. I only have a few days to travel there each year. Every place where I can take photos is full of people, and I can't take the photos that I want that combine people and scenery. I suggest you don't go on weekends and holidays. If you want to go, you can only go when the flowers are blooming and during working hours to try your luck and see if there will be fewer people.
I went there during the Qingming Festival this year. The flowers were in full bloom, the weather was cool and suitable, and most importantly, the tickets were free for Guangdong people.

It is a national 5A-level famous tourist attraction. It is worthy of being the world's largest, most diverse and best-preserved original azalea forest. It is truly the "Earth Ribbon, Azalea Kingdom". There are as many as 23 varieties of azaleas in the scenic area, including Ma Ying Azalea, Da Bai Hua Azalea, Shui Hong Azalea, and Dew Drop Azalea. The colors are diverse, and the most peculiar is "one tree with different flowers". A tree can bloom up to 7 colors of flowers. During the flowering period, there are many tourists and few sightseeing cars. It is recommended to stagger the weekend and holiday tours. It would be better if the ticket is limited to visiting the two scenic spots within two days, because the two scenic spots are more than ten kilometers apart and the scenic spots are very large. You must stay overnight when departing from Guiyang, and get up early the next day to go to the scenic spot to complete the tour. Or sell tickets separately.
It is worth visiting during the flowering period
A good place to take photos
Baili Dujuan is divided into two scenic areas, Jinpo Scenic Area and Pudi Scenic Area. Jinpo Scenic Area belongs to Qianxi County, and Pudi belongs to Dafang County. It is included in one ticket and is valid for one day. The flowers this year are particularly beautiful and blooming particularly well. In 2017, tourists from the six cities of Hangzhou, Shanghai, Suzhou, Qingdao, Ningbo, and Dalian can enjoy half-price admission to all scenic spots in Guizhou, which is very cost-effective. In Baili Dujuan Scenic Area, tourists from Guangdong are still free. Puding Scenic Area is larger than Jinpo Scenic Area, but both are worth visiting.
The natural beauty and the sea of flowers stretching for hundreds of miles are my only love in this life.
Baili Rhododendron Scenic Area is the largest wild rhododendron forest in China and the largest, most diverse and best-preserved original rhododendron forest in the world. The main features are: original ecology, ancient, everywhere, and colorful. In the first half of the flowering period, Jinpo Scenic Area is many times more beautiful than Pudi Scenic Area; in the second half of the flowering period, Pudi Scenic Area is more beautiful. The Soma Flower Bridge, Wanhua Tower, and Baihuaping in Jinpo Scenic Area, and Shuhua Peak, Lansheng Peak, Yuntai Ridge, and Wucai Road in Pudi Scenic Area are all extremely beautiful and belong to the essence. You must go. In addition, there are several unpopular attractions that are not popular but still beautiful, especially because they are rarely visited, you can see different scenery. For example, Shexiangling in Jinpo Scenic Area is the highest peak, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the scenic area. The moss and red flowers along the way are beautiful; the road along Jinpoling in Jinpo Scenic Area can be called the most beautiful road; Jinpo Scenic Area Jinjijing, Huameiling, Ma Yinglin, must take the mountain road, not the road. In the peak season, there is a shuttle bus connecting Pudi and Jinpo Scenic Area, which runs about every 40 minutes and costs 5 yuan. An extra surprise is that in 2017, Guangdong tourists are exempt from all tickets in Bijie area.
Baili Dujuan Scenic Area is definitely the best azalea viewing spot in China. The flowering period varies every year. Pay attention to the weather before April of that year. In 2017, the scenic area is free of charge for Guangdong residents with valid certificates. It's a big pie. The battery car in the scenic area costs 35 yuan per person. There are 2 stops in Jinpo Scenic Area. The distance between the stations is long. It is recommended to take it. Pudi Scenic Area is divided into Line 1/2, with different starting stations (Wucai Road Visitor Center and the West Gate of the Scenic Area). The stations in the scenic area are the same, and all scenic spots are stopped. However, the distance between the scenic spots in Pudi is short, there are small paths, and the flowers on the roadside are very beautiful. You can consider walking. The ticket is valid on the same day, and you can only take one loop line in the scenic area. From Qianxi to the scenic area, it is best to navigate to the highway entrance first and then navigate to Jinpo Scenic Area, otherwise the navigation will take you to the most congested county center to appreciate the local customs. You can also go directly to Pudi first, and then to Jinpo. Tickets are 150/person. Valid on the same day and can be used across scenic spots. There are farmhouses and accommodation in the Pudi Scenic Area, but the conditions are unknown. You can consider staying in the scenic area to fully enjoy the birdsong and flowers.
It's quite beautiful. Even if it's only one-third open, it's definitely worth seeing if you go at the right time and weather.
I went there today. The flowers in Jinpo are in full bloom. The area near the suspension bridge is so beautiful. I went there early so I could pose and take photos. When I went there for the second time after the sun came out, there was already a long queue. The poor pixel of my phone can't capture her beauty at all
April is the best time to enjoy flowers in Guizhou. Last year I went to Pingba to see cherry blossoms, and today I went to Jinpo to see azaleas. The flowers are in full bloom, and it is estimated that there will be a sea of flowers for two weeks. It happens to be sunny, and I am happy~
The flowers are beautiful. It is very comfortable to stay at Baili Dujuan Yitian Hotel. The people are very polite. The service in the scenic area is very good. The hotel phone number is 0857-4880977, 15338686977
The flowers are in full bloom, colorful and worthy of being called the flower belt on the earth. They are completely original and wild. The scenic area is clean and beautiful. It is pleasing to the eyes. It is very pleasing to the eyes and quite shocking!
It's average, there are many varieties, the area is very large, the tickets are a bit expensive, there is no sightseeing bus, people with poor leg strength should be mentally prepared, and remember to go early, otherwise you will be tired and hot!!!
Baili Rhododendron Scenic Area is located in the natural rhododendron forest belt at the junction of Dafang and Qianxi counties. It is the largest native rhododendron forest in China to date. On the narrow hills about 50 kilometers long and 1.2 to 5.3 kilometers wide, there are 4 genera and 23 varieties, including horse cherry, goose yellow, lily blue lotus, and purple jade.
The scenic area is divided into Jinpo (mainly white, with scattered flowers) and Pudi (with more concentrated flowers). The two scenic areas are 12 kilometers apart and can be visited by shuttle bus (15 minutes). Generally, you cannot finish the tour in one day, and the ticket is only valid for one day. If you don’t feel aesthetic fatigue and want to continue playing, you can choose to stay in the scenic area. This time we chose the Pudi Scenic Area.
Tickets: 150 yuan/person in peak season (it is recommended not to come during non-flowering season), 35 yuan/person for sightseeing bus tickets to Pudi Scenic Area
Best spots for viewing flowers: Zuijiuniu and Shuhuafeng
You have to go to the right time to see the rhododendrons. The flowering periods are different so you won’t be able to see all the flowers, but the mountains full of flowers are still spectacular and very pleasing to the eyes.
The Baili Rhododendron, a must-see attraction in Guizhou, is large in scale and can be called the best in the garden. The scenic area is very beautiful and the service facilities are quite complete. Every year in April and May, the natural rhododendrons bloom one after another, and the mountains and plains are a sea of flowers. It is a must-see for flower viewing and scenery. The scenic area is located at the junction of Pudi and Baina, Qianxi County, Bijie City, and there are two scenic spots beside the highway exit. It is recommended to take a sightseeing bus for two days and then go to the must-see attraction in Guizhou, Zhijin Cave, which is not far away.
For those who love nature, there are beautiful scenery everywhere. Every place is worth a visit.
The normal flowering period should be from the end of March to the beginning of May every year, but due to the local weather this year, the flowering period ended early, and the entire scenic area has become a green scene now. I am extremely disappointed (sweat)
The beauty of flowers lies in your appreciation angle. The various colors will make you linger. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
I went there the first week after Qingming Festival, and the azaleas were almost all gone. According to local people, the flowers were most beautiful during Qingming Festival or two or three days before. There are many cherry trees planted on both sides of the road in the scenic area, and there is also a cherry forest in the scenic area. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom in mid-April, which is super beautiful!
There are two main scenic spots in Bailidujuan Scenic Area, Jinpo and Pudi. The distance between the two scenic spots is nearly 15 kilometers. There is no shuttle bus, so you need to drive yourself. The ticket is a pass, 150 yuan/person. I asked the locals and it seems that there are tickets only during the flowering period (March-May), and it is free at other times. After entering the Jinpo Scenic Area, you need to buy a battery car ticket, which is also a pass. The station system is implemented. One scenic spot is a station. After getting off at a scenic spot, you return to the station of this scenic spot. When a car comes, you can get on the bus with the ticket to the next scenic spot without paying extra. It is recommended to take a battery car. The distance between Jinpo scenic spots is far, and it is tiring and time-consuming to take bus No. 11. The must-see attractions in Jinpo Scenic Area are Baihuaping, Wanhua Tower and Suoma Bridge. You can just take a quick look at the others. Especially the Soma Bridge, which is next to the Wanhua Tower. It is one-way traffic and can only go forward, not backward. So you must take pictures when you see a good view, otherwise you will miss it and can't come back. There is a good place to take pictures. After crossing the bridge, climb the small hill in front and look back. The bridge below, the Wanhua Tower opposite, and the Dujuan flowers all over the mountain are in full view. It is a place where you must take pictures. There are many people in this place, but it is worth it even if you have to wait for a while to take pictures. Because there are many tourists in Pudi during the holidays, all the battery cars have been transferred to the Jinpo Scenic Area. Tourists need to walk to the attractions in Pudi by themselves. Looking at a Pudi scenic area from a high place, I think the scenery is average. In addition, considering that the battery cars are all transferred to Jinpo instead of Pudi, it means that the scenery in Jinpo is good. We asked the locals again, and the feedback was also Jinpo, so we didn't play Pudi in the end. There is a helicopter airport in Pudi. If you want to take a helicopter to enjoy the flowers, you can consider coming to Pudi, but the price is not cheap.
The scenic area is divided into two scenic areas, Pudi and Jinpo. We only went to Pudi. You cannot drive into the scenic area by car, you can only park in the parking lot outside the scenic area. There are three parking lots in the scenic area, and the farthest parking lot is 2-3 kilometers away from the gate of the scenic area. Then take the free bus of the scenic area to the gate of the scenic area. The ticket is 150 yuan, which is expensive. It is 5 yuan less if you book online. After more than 2 hours in the scenic area, it was past 6 o'clock when I came out. There was no bus from the entrance of the scenic area to the parking lot. There were private cars of local residents to the parking lot, 5 yuan per person. The roads in the scenic area are well built. The transportation buses between the scenic spots are said to be closed on weekends. Tourists are complaining that the weekend is the time when there are the most tourists, but the transportation buses are not opened. When I went there, the flowers were past their best time. There was no scenery of red azaleas all over the mountains, and I could only take close-ups of azaleas.
The azaleas are very beautiful when they bloom. There are two scenic spots, Jinpo and Pudi, which are combined tickets. It is recommended to spend one day.
Flowers have the prosperity of blooming, but also the shyness of budding
Summer is a good time to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall. The rice wine long table banquet in Daxijiang Miao Village is very good.
The rhododendrons are everywhere in the mountains, red, pink, snow-blue, and white. They bloom on every mountain, passionately and directly.
I went there last year and was shocked. There were so many flowers, so beautiful.
The ticket is 120 yuan, and you have to see it all in one day, which is unreasonable. The accommodation conditions in the scenic area are not very good, but it is clean. The alpine rhododendrons are indeed more beautiful than those in the city. They bloom in clusters and are very beautiful. Photos cannot reflect their beauty~
It is worth a visit. The azaleas all over the mountain are really beautiful and shocking. You must go there during the peak flowering period. It was hot this year, and the flowers had already begun to wither on April 4, but it was okay. The local supporting facilities are too poor, there are few farmhouses and the conditions are not good. It is better to live in Qianxi County.
"Bai Li Du Juan" is the name of a large scenic area. The flowering season is only a little over a month each year. The large scenic area is divided into several small scenic areas. The temperatures of the scenic areas are somewhat different due to the height difference, so the flowering periods are somewhat different. The scenic area is well built and can be visited by car and on foot. The main variety should be "high mountain azalea" (large leaves and large flowers), which is completely different from the small-leaf azalea called "azalea". The flower colors are mainly purple, red, pink, yellow, and white. The main flowering period is roughly after mid-March and before mid-April each year.
The azalea flowers still clung to the branches after the heavy rain the night before.
Sunny. Rhododendron. So beautiful.
There are Wucai Road, Shuhua Peak, Zui Jiuniu, Strolling Yuntai, and Huangjiaba Blocking Battle.
There are more than 20 scenic spots including the Monument, Baihuaping, Mayingling, Jinjiqing, Duizuiyan, Imperial Ginkgo, Millennium Ancient Mulberry, Azalea King, Yishan Lake, Huadiyan, etc.
, it was initially found that there are 41 species in the scenic area, including Rhododendron tatarinaceus, Rhododendron arborescens, Rhododendron angustifolium, Rhododendron serratum, Rhododendron tuanhua, Rhododendron fasciatus, Rhododendron arborescens ...
In late spring, from late March to late April, various azaleas bloom one after another. The azaleas are all over the mountains, in various shapes and colors, covering the mountains and ridges, and colorful. It is really a beautiful picture of "thousands of peaks stacked up, black gold buried underground, azaleas like the sea, and the mountains full of strange fragrance". The variety of its flowers, dense distribution, high aesthetic value, high ornamental value, and strong artistic appeal are rare in the world. The park is divided into Jinpo Scenic Area, Pudi Scenic Area, Camping Area, Recreation Area, Recreational Area, and Reserve Development Area.
To take a good picture of the blooming azalea, you still need luck. The main thing is that the information about the flowering period must be accurate, and the weather must help. Because it is usually drizzling during the Qingming Festival. Staying in the scenic area and waiting for good weather is a good choice.
Entering the mountainous area, the layered mountains become more attractive in the drizzle.
After entering Bijie, the colors of the nearby and distant mountains suddenly changed. Ah! The rhododendrons all over the mountains are colorful, like a colorful velvety carpet or a surging ocean. The magnificence and beauty make people feel relaxed and excited!
The ticket to the scenic spot is very expensive, it costs 120 yuan, it is a pass, including Jinpo and Pudi scenic spots, but we went back and forth on the same day and only visited Jinpo scenic spot. Jinpo scenic spot is not big, there are battery cars in the scenic spot, the ticket is 45 yuan, but I don't think it's necessary! We took photos and played along the way, and it took more than 2 hours to finish the tour.
The rhododendrons in the scenic area are in full bloom, and the rhododendrons all over the mountains are truly amazing. The rhododendron trees stretch out in patches, which is so beautiful!
The central flower area of Baili Rhododendron refers to the two scenic areas of Pudi and Jinpo. Pudi Scenic Area is divided into Shuhua Peak, Yuntai Ridge, Zuijiuniu, Wucai Road, Jiansheng Road and other scenic spots. Jinpo Scenic Area includes Baihuaping, Jinjiqing, Huamei Ridge, Jinpo Ridge, Mayinglin and other scenic spots. The azaleas here are magnificent and cover the mountains and hills. They are the highlights of the Baili Rhododendron flower viewing tour and are also the two earliest developed scenic spots of Baili Rhododendron.
In such an environment, you will forget yourself and be often shocked and inspired by the passionate Ma Ying forest, and then you will become one of its flowers and leaves.
The heavy rain drove away the sultry heat, and the mountain air was filled with a cool breeze that absorbed the essence of the trees and grasses. The vast flower forest stretched to the horizon. - Deep and light red, white, yellow, and purple, with treetops of varying heights, undulating like waves. This was the first time I saw such a real scene, and it was exactly the same as in the promotional brochure. Those photos circulating on the Internet were not lying at all. It was rare!
In Yi language, azalea is called "Soma", which means the flower that welcomes guests. From March to July every year, the flowers are in full bloom, covering the ground.
Some azaleas can bloom in many different colors at the same time, which is very fascinating, competing for beauty and has a high ornamental value. The most rare is the one tree with different flowers, that is, one tree blooms with flowers of different colors, up to 7 kinds.
Every spring and summer, the whole mountain is full of azaleas, which are as bright as colorful clouds. The big azalea trees are more than ten feet tall, with vigorous and twisted branches and flowers like brocade; the small azalea trees are about one foot tall, pretty and fragrant, and cute. There are deep red horsetail azaleas, light yellow round fan azaleas, silvery white pink ball azaleas, and rare lily azaleas, blue lotus azaleas, purple jade plate azaleas, etc. Among them, there are 17 precious varieties, which are really colorful and colorful.
I read the introduction that Baili Rhododendron is called: "The central flower area of the ribbon of the earth refers to the two scenic areas of Pudi and Jinpo. Pudi Scenic Area has Shuhua Peak, Yuntai Ridge, Zuijiuniu, Wucai Road, Jiansheng Road and other scenic spots. Jinpo Scenic Area includes Baihuaping, Jinjiqing, Huamei Ridge, Jinpo Ridge, Mayinglin and other small areas. "
Due to the weather, there was heavy fog and drizzle. After entering the scenic area, the tour bus driver told us that the weather was cold this year and the flowers bloomed late, so there were few flowers in many places. As soon as I heard this, I knew I was ripped off! ~~555555 So here is a warm reminder for everyone. If you want to see the flowers, you should go around April 15th! If you wait too long, you may not see the flowers! If it’s night, you may see them too late!
Peak season ticket price: 120 yuan
There are many varieties of azalea in the scenic area.
The peak season is from mid-April to early May every year.
I have been to Baili Dujuan many times. It looks different every year. As a native of Qianxi, this is the most worthwhile place to visit in Qianxi. It is just too seasonal.
Baili Azalea is worthy of its reputation! Although the peak flowering period has passed after Qingming Festival, people can still feel the meaning of "all over the mountains and fields", and the fallen flowers on the ground also have a unique charm. However, as a 5A scenic spot, private cars are not allowed to enter, and the battery car is suspended on Sundays! ! When you are ready to try your physical strength and walk around by yourself, you will find that many forest paths have no signs at the forks. Either go around along the battery car lane, or take the small path by feeling. Jinpo and Pudi implement one ticket for all, but the two scenic spots are more than ten kilometers apart! When the battery car in the scenic spot is suspended, it is not easy to walk through the Pudi scenic spot. Who has the energy to go to the Jinpo scenic spot? Such a large scenic spot implements a one-day ticket. How can so many inns outside the door retain people? It’s best not to go on Sundays! !
