In the narrow valley of 1.6 kilometers upstream of Hanbitan, there are 68 waterfalls and cascades along the high and low riverbed. Experts have verified that such a large number of dense waterfalls and cascades are rare in China. The cascading waterfalls are of various shapes and forms. The various waterfalls and cascades compete for the most beautiful and unique scenery, forming a dynamic waterscape with various styles, which makes tourists dazzled. Along the river valley, along with the cascade waterfalls, you can see the flowing water of the mountains and hear the sound of springs and waterfalls.

Next is the 68-level cascading waterfall. Just imagine the beautiful picture when you hear the name. The cascading waterfalls form dynamic waterscapes of various shapes. Going up along the river, you will see beautiful scenery along the way, with mountain streams, springs and waterfalls. It is not as majestic as a large waterfall, but the trickling waterfall is also very beautiful. Going up all the way, listening to the gurgling sound of the spring water, your mood will be relaxed and comfortable.

The 68-level waterfall in the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is the most beautiful attraction. The cascading waterfalls here gurgle and cascade down. As the terrain changes, they are sometimes turbulent and sometimes gentle, with various shapes, basically forming a beautiful picture combining waterfalls and pools of water, riverbeds and green trees.

The waterfall rushes down from the upstream, forming a green pool of water in the flat area, and a small colorless and transparent waterfall in the low-lying area. As we continue to go deeper into the scenic area, the waterfall effect becomes more and more obvious. There is a big waterfall on the roadside, and tourists will get their clothes wet when passing by the waterfall.

Due to the undulating terrain, which is sometimes flat and sometimes inclined from high to low, a sixty-eight-level waterfall is formed.

The 68-level waterfalls cascade down in layers, like the Milky Way pouring down to the ground, with various shapes and scenes. The waterfalls in various shapes and forms compete with each other for beauty, forming a dynamic waterscape with various styles.

There are different scenery in each section. Sometimes the river becomes turbulent and sometimes it becomes delicate and elegant.

Sixty-eight levels is a good description of the waterfall.

The 68-level waterfall is located in a narrow valley upstream of Hanbitan Lake. It flows down the mountain in a stepped shape, layer upon layer, pouring down like pearls and jade, pushing snow and clouds, or flowing like a silk thread, like the Milky Way pouring down the ground, with various shapes and scenes. It forms a dynamic waterscape with various styles, which is extremely beautiful and dazzling.

After crossing the Xiaoqikong Stone Bridge, you will reach the starting point of the 68-level waterfall not far up. Starting from the narrow valley 1.6 kilometers upstream of Hanbitan, there are crisscrossing pools and waterfalls, and the water is clear, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. There are plank roads on both sides of the stream. Since I went there twice to experience the scenery on both sides, it can be said that each has its own merits. The scenery is different from the angle. The water here is clear and transparent, like a green emerald. It takes about 1 hour to walk to the waterfall. Of course, if you are tired, you can choose to take a sedan chair, but then you can't enjoy the scenery along the way. You can take a shuttle bus from the exit to other attractions.

By see the way |

Take a bus from the lower entrance of Shuishang Forest (Guishan Station) to Shishang Forest Station. After getting off the bus, walk forward towards the Xiaoqikong Bridge. This section is about 2 kilometers long and can only be reached on foot.

This section of the road is along the river. The river water falls down layer by layer, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, forming 68 waterfalls. These 68 waterfalls are not at a single point, but are distributed over a river that is more than one kilometer long.

By Leather Hill |

Opposite the Raya Waterfall is the 68-level waterfall. The water flow rate is determined by the terrain. Sometimes it is slow, sometimes it is fast, and the water falls layer by layer, giving a feeling of dynamic landscape painting.

By Mud Sauce |

Going further west from Xiaoqikong, you can see Yala Falls and the 68-level waterfall. Yala Falls is very close to the road, while the 68-level waterfall is on the other side of the road, forming a 1.6-kilometer-long waterfall group.

Originally, there was a road on each side of the 68-level waterfall - one was a relatively wide asphalt road that could be driven on, and the other was a smaller path that was more hidden by trees. I originally wanted to take that path, but due to rising water, part of the path was flooded and therefore closed.

When visiting the 68-level waterfall in the morning, it feels better to visit from east to west (walking all the way up). First, because there is good light from east to west in the morning, and second, because this direction is towards the waterfall. If you visit from west to east, you need to look back at the waterfall from time to time.

The 68-level waterfall I saw in other people's travel notes was very delicate, but I came during the flood season in July, so the water was particularly abundant. But it was a blessing in disguise, and we saw three rainbows in a row during this journey.

The 68-step waterfall is a scenic spot between the Shuishang Stone Forest and the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge. The river has a large drop in height, which has resulted in many waterfalls. However, due to the large number of waterfalls, the drop of each waterfall is not large.

By Taishada |

A little above the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, there is a group of waterfalls flowing downstream, consisting of a total of 68 waterfalls, with nice scenery along the way

By Go out for a walk |

It's quite spectacular. The amount of water is not large, but the drop is quite large.

By Autumn Leaves |

Walking along the river, the dynamic waterscape is so charming that it is a feast for the eyes.

By DC |

It's amazing! It's so great and beautiful! I decided to check in at other waterfalls in the future!

By Deep Lanser |

The beauty of what I saw cannot be described with beautiful words.

By weather5 |

In fact, each waterfall here is very small, and strictly speaking, this drop cannot be considered a waterfall, but the waterfall group stretching for 1.6 kilometers is rare in the world.

The commuter bus driver told us that if we walked from the east gate to the west gate, we would feel more impressive when seeing the 68-level waterfall. We walked from west to east, from upstream to downstream, and it was not that shocking.

So we asked the driver to take us directly to the downstream, and then turned around and walked upstream. Along with this scenery, what came to my mind were the lines from Bai Juyi's "Pipa Song": The big strings are as noisy as heavy rain, the small strings are as soft as whispers, the loud and soft strings are played in a mixed manner, like big and small pearls falling on a jade plate.

By Bottle Bowl |

Next to Raya is the 68-step waterfall, which was a little disappointing.

By Doudou Mama loves traveling |

For the first time, I felt how dry and pale my words were, as if no words could accurately describe the water here. In front of her, the mountain was not embarrassed to be eclipsed. It leaned down modestly, and used its broad hands to powerfully hold up this long dragon waterfall, allowing it to flow endlessly in the valley. It even used a maple tree and a piece of water grass to decorate it. When it encountered a huge rock lying horizontally, it would allow her to gently cut it open, even if it was split into a gully, in the eyes of the mountain, it might feel that the water was playing hide-and-seek with it.

After Laya Waterfall, we will go upstream along the 68-step waterfall. There are 68-step waterfalls in the narrow valley upstream of Hanbitan. The cascading waterfalls are gurgling and gushing down, or pouring pearls and jade, pushing snow and clouds, or flowing like a silk thread, like the Milky Way pouring down the ground. They are in various shapes and have a variety of styles, forming a dynamic waterscape with various styles, which makes people dazzled. Going up along the river valley with the cascade waterfalls, you may see mountain streams, green trees and red flowers, or hear the sound of springs and waterfalls, birds chirping, and insects singing. It feels more poetic and beautiful. We took pictures while walking. I found a suitable place and practiced slow shooting of waterscapes. After a few attempts, I got some feeling.

By dilicle |

A very delicate series of small waterfalls, the color of the water is also very, very beautiful.

By fantasty |

The water here is slightly turbulent, and there are many scenic views to take pictures of, which is well worth stopping to watch.

By Lu Yisi |

Each of the 68 waterfalls is actually a small waterfall, but the main achievement is the large number of waterfalls.

By sywang |

Starting from the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, go upstream along the 1.6-kilometer trail. You can see the 68-level waterfall on the left. The cascading waterfalls and gurgling spring water are very artistic. It is recommended to walk from low to high, so that you can see the 68-level waterfall more vividly.

By CrYstaL--FonG |

If you come here on a rainy day, watching the water in the rain is a unique sight and well worth seeing.

By Three six degrees |

Such dense waterfalls and cascading water can be called a wonder, spreading out layer by layer, which is particularly spectacular. The splashing water, under the sunlight, forms a mini rainbow.

By Casual |

The word "fall" is used very well. The waterfall really is like a naughty child, falling down step by step.

The 68-level waterfall extends from the head all the way down, and the impact of beauty comes to you first.

By color |

We walked down along the water forest and arrived at the 68-level waterfall. When we got out of the car, we were stunned by the scene in front of us. There was such a beautiful place.

By silly lissy |

It is rare to see so many levels of waterfalls, which is very spectacular.

By Moxa |

I think the 68-level cascading waterfall is the most beautiful attraction. I didn't count whether there are 68 levels, but it is indeed spectacular. Walking up along the plank road, one waterfall after another appears before your eyes. When you reach Cui Valley Waterfall, the whole journey is 1.6 kilometers. The waterfall flows rapidly, splashing white water, and the air is very good!

By The Mountain is Silent |

Between the Xiaoqikong Gorge, the river meanders from high to low, and the drop forms many stepped small waterfalls, which are called the Sixty-Eight Falls.

By shmily |

We went downhill along the way, passing by several waterfalls, the scenery was beautiful.

By Qingqing |

There are 68 waterfalls scattered along the low riverbed. The numerous and dense waterfalls form a dynamic waterscape with various styles.

By Dec |

This is the most worth-seeing spot of Xiaoqikong in my opinion. It is very beautiful, and you don’t need to use shutter priority to complete it. The water flow in the photos is very smooth.

By Reverse Traveler |

I didn't count whether there were 68 steps along the way, but it should be roughly the same. Along the way, I saw that the water surface was sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, the water flow was sometimes slow and sometimes fast, and there were many small waterfalls formed at the height difference. Some waterfalls looked quite imposing. Looking at the waterfalls with white water splashing and listening to the sound of running water, a sense of coolness came from the bottom of my heart.

By Henry[Cheng Cheng] |

The 68-level waterfall is not a waterfall with a large drop, but the waterfalls and waterfalls with different postures and layers pour down, each leading the way, competing for beauty, forming a dynamic waterscape with various styles, which is dazzling. According to experts, it is rare to have so many dense waterfalls and waterfalls. We caught up with the flood season with the largest amount of water. The sound of water rumbles and the water flow is turbulent, which is quite spectacular. This is one of the classic attractions of Xiaoqikong, and it is also a place where I think I must insist on going no matter how tired I am.

By Niuniuz |

Because the drop and angle of each level of the waterfall are different, and the rocks on the riverbed encountered at each place are also different, the waterfalls formed in this section of the river are not a uniform sound, but a combination of different frequencies, different pitches, and different melodies, which are sometimes majestic, sometimes low and slow, sometimes high-pitched, and sometimes soft. This is why it is called Xiangshui River.

By talentyang |

Although the sun was strong, as we walked down the 68-step waterfall, the constant breeze from the water made us feel extremely cool, without any visual fatigue.

By Visiting tea |

I think it is the most attractive attraction among the Big and Small Seven Caves. The water in Jiuzhaigou is mostly static beauty, but the water here is indeed dynamic beauty. The only shortcoming is the shuttle bus.

By Tansy, |

From the 68-level waterfall, you have to walk all the way down the road, and the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge will be waiting for you there. Before going to Xiaoqikong, Wolongtan Waterfall was my biggest expectation, but when I really arrived at Xiaoqikong, I found that the 68-level waterfall was my true love.

By Firefly |

Walking along the wooden plank road, the 68-level waterfall on the left is quite spectacular, with layers of waterfalls cascading down. The walking plank road is about 1.6 km long, and you can go upstream along the waterfall. The uphill road is quite physically demanding, but with such a magnificent waterfall, the boredom and fatigue of the crowds can be offset. Passing the middle of the 68-level waterfall, a waterfall suddenly appeared on the right side, and the tourists' enthusiasm could not be stopped even if they were soaked.

By Ethan |

Going upstream from the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, you can see a 68-level waterfall with a not very large drop and turbulent water. The canyon waterfall is 1.6 kilometers long, with a drop of 110 meters and a maximum width of 40 meters. Along the high and low riverbed, there are 68 waterfalls and waterfalls. The cascading waterfalls pour down in various shapes and magnificent scenes. According to experts, such a large number of dense waterfalls and waterfalls are rare. When we went there, it happened to be when the water volume was the largest. The deafening sound of water was like the galloping of thousands of troops, which was really spectacular. Thank you for the beauty that nature has brought us, and we must also give back to nature with practical actions!

By Nagashino |

Very beautiful scenic spot, winding for a long distance, I don't know if there are 68 steps, but the water does flow down many steps

By The Laughing Flask |

The 68-fold waterfall is a long waterfall group. Every few steps, there is a big step down to form a waterfall. Later, I saw waterfalls on the mountain beside the road swarming down and merging into the river.

By Visual Workshop |

The vast waters are layered, the water flows rapidly, and the ups and downs are turbulent. The Raya Waterfall rushes down by the roadside, and people under the waterfall wish to get a good shower.

By Bo |

Apart from the turbid water, the rest is still very beautiful, but you must pay attention, there will be fallen rocks on the mountain when walking (usually there won't be, but we saw a very tragic scene that day, there was a big fallen rock on the side, and a big pool of blood on the ground, and then there was a policeman on duty, telling us to pass quickly, I don't have any photos and don't want to record this, but it happened), so be careful.

The 68-level waterfall is a scenic spot on the tourist trail. The little guy wore a raincoat, but the raincoat was not fastened properly, and he started to go crazy.

I had so much fun that my pants were soaked. The waterfall was so loud that he couldn't hear me no matter how I called him. I wasn't wearing a raincoat and was carrying a camera, so I didn't want to get too close.

Finally I went over to pull him back, my pants were soaked!! I scolded him severely!

The little guy has been in a bad mood since he was scolded at the 68-level waterfall.

Going upstream, the 68-level waterfall tumbles and sings the pulse of the Xiangshui River. A green ribbon rushes between the rocks and trees. The amazing beauty cannot be described in words. Small waterfalls gush out from the mountainside, and the water mist brings bursts of coolness.

Such waterfalls are quite common, pouring down from the mountain and into the lake through the walkway under the road. The closest waterfall is then drained through dead tree trunks and pouring down over the road.

There is a deep pool under each waterfall, and the intersection of the pool and waterfall highlights the cleverness and beauty of the mountains and rivers.

By RuRu |

The 68-level waterfall is still very beautiful. Although it is not a waterfall with a large drop, the scene of small waterfalls running one after another is also rare. If the Huangguoshu Waterfall is majestic, then the 68-level waterfall can be regarded as long and beautiful!

No matter from which angle you look at it, it is extremely beautiful!

Get off at Shishang Forest Station and walk to Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge. This 1.5km road is a walking and sightseeing area, and the 68-level waterfall is here.

Actually, the markings are not very clear, and of course there is no 68 steps, so it is probably difficult to count 68 steps. Just walk along the river, there is a wooden trail by the river, although it is not as thrilling as the big waterfall, it is also a turbulent flow, rumbling sound, and splashing water.

This attraction is a legendary attraction. You have to visit it even if you don't want to. For those who enter Xiaoqikong for the first time, this is still a highlight. But climbing up the slope is really tiring! And the whole journey is 2.2 kilometers...

By Photographer Yilan |

I thought I had seen many waterfalls in my travels and would not be impressed by them anymore. But when I got here, I couldn't walk anymore. I kept taking photos, but I felt that I hadn't captured all the beautiful scenery in my camera. I guess it was the time when the water volume of Xiaoqikong Waterfall was the largest within the safety value. The 68-level waterfall has a drop every few steps, forming waterfalls of different sizes, with different postures, some rushing, some gentle, and each one is different, trying to show the beauty of the waterfall to every tourist passing by. Every piece of water also tries its best to show the green of Guizhou, just like the emerald summer I longed for before coming here.

By The living people |

The 68-level waterfall is a 1.6km walk all the way to Xiaoqikong. There is nothing to do, but it is beautiful and suitable for photography enthusiasts, but it may not be suitable for children. There is one fun place, which is the upper part of the water forest. The peculiar karst water landform, must bring non-slip sandals or slippers! ! ! You are jumping on the stones in the stream all the way, very happy ~

I personally feel that the 68-level waterfall is great. You can enjoy it while walking. Unlike the Huangguoshu Waterfall, there are not many tourists and it is impossible to enjoy and take pictures because of the crowds.

68-level waterfall

It is across the road from Raya Falls and is right next to it. This attraction is all the way up.

The small drop has become a waterfall, cascading upwards. There is a waterfall every few steps. It can be said to be endless. The further you go, the bigger the drop and the different the shapes.

The mountain air is fresh and the sound of gurgling water along the trail is beautiful.
