There are many exhibition halls in the Provincial Museum, and the local characteristics are actually very strong. However, if you come here without any preparation, you will still come with an empty head and leave with sore legs. One of the wonderful things about the museum is that you can deposit all the non-valuable items you bring with you, and walk around as light as a swallow.

After watching a popular science video at the Agarwood Museum, I learned that agarwood needs wounds to form, and the process of forming agarwood is difficult and long, and it is scarce and rare. It is not surprising that agarwood ranks first among "sandalwood, dragon and musk". Because of its unique growth environment and historical background, agarwood has been regarded as "the first of all incense" and "the relic among incense" since ancient times.

The various furniture in the Huanghuali Pavilion is really amazing, but I still prefer wooden furniture. Small items, such as rice shovels or baby strollers, are more exquisite.

It is well built, but there are few fine cultural relics. You can go and have a look if you have time!

Self-service, no need for comments when visiting a museum, there are cultural relics inside, those who like it will like it

If you don't have enough time, you don't need to come here specially. If you have enough time, you can just take a look. That's it...

Hainan Provincial Museum is a window to understand Hainan’s culture.

The place is very large, with more than a dozen exhibition halls, connecting Hainan's past and present.

The architecture of Hainan Provincial Museum is unique.

It consists of two buildings connected by a passage.

Introduced the local conditions and customs of Hainan,

There are also intangible cultural heritage,

It also introduces the development process of Hainan Province after it became a special economic zone.

After watching it,

I just realized that Hainan has not only the Haigang Peak,

It's still very historical.

It was under the jurisdiction of the Qin Emperor.

The museum is very large, including the restoration of the underwater shipwreck, which is still very shocking. It actually takes a whole day to visit it.

By Lightning ⚡ flash |

It's a bit far from the city, but there are a lot of things inside. Recently, there is an exhibition of things from the Qing Dynasty. But I feel that most of the things in those historical tubes are not sure whether they are real. Some are replicas. But it's still very interesting

There is also an exhibition of cultural relics from the sea. There is an exhibition of Huanghuali wood. There is also an exhibition of agarwood. There is also an exhibition of food. The rest are mainly some cultures of ethnic minorities.

By grace |

Although the collection is not large, it is worth a visit to systematically understand the past and present of Hainan.

By in the shoes |

When we went there, some projects were under renovation, so the environment was inevitably a little messy, but the Hainan Provincial Museum was very attentive and displayed and excavated the few cultural relics very well. For example, the archaeological excavation of the South China Sea shipwreck used high-tech means to display the structure and characteristics of the ship, which was very attractive. The second and third floors were mostly Hainan style displays. The exhibition halls were built in Hainan-style arcades, which displayed Hainan snacks, art, etc. There were also many interactive activities, which were particularly interesting. The most impressive thing was that a young man sat in the exhibition hall and demonstrated the weaving method of Li brocade on the spot.

The exhibits in the museums I visited during the Spring Festival are very unique. You need to present a valid ID such as your ID card or student ID to get a ticket to enter the museum, and there are only 3,000 tickets available each day.

I went there on 2.25. The special exhibition for the Year of the Dog was very cute. I just realized that people in Leizhou love dogs. It was a pleasant surprise. The video of Huaguang Reef No. 1 was also very impressive. There are also Huanghuali and Agarwood exhibition halls. Although Hainan Provincial Museum is very young, it is better than expected. Very good.

The space is large, and it is not crowded even though there are many people during the Chinese New Year. The exhibition on the first floor of the main building showing the sunken ship is great, and then there are small theme pavilions on both sides, which are worth a look.

I went to Sanya with my mother before the holiday. After two days, I wanted to go to a museum. After searching for a long time, I found that there was nothing particularly decent in Sanya. I decided to go to the provincial capital. There are plenty of trains anyway, and it only takes more than an hour to get there.

After exchanging my ID card for the ticket at the entrance of the museum, the first thing I saw when I entered the museum was the Year of the Dog special exhibition. This planning is very special and also suits my appetite as a dog owner. I have never seen such a detailed history of dogs and so many ancient dog sculptures in a museum. It's great! At the same time, I also learned about the long-standing stone dog culture on this continent.

Because the entire museum was built relatively late, it has absorbed a lot of experience from its predecessors. It can be seen that the collections are not that many, and with a lot of sound and light design, the means are very rich and vivid.

I came a little late and looked too closely. I just saw a little bit of the ethnic section on the third floor and was kicked out because it was closed. I don't know if I can go again next time.

All in all, it is still worth seeing, and 3 hours is expected to be enough.

Hainan Provincial Museum is the youngest member of China's provincial museums. Although the collection is small, we are delighted to see that the ancient monuments of Hainan Island are scaled here, and the folk customs and geological changes are also well presented with audio. (The special exhibition hall is under renovation) The main hall has three floors. The first floor is called Nanhai Fan Ge, and the main body is the Huaguang Reef No. 1 shipwreck. When the holographic image ends, the wreckage that suddenly appears on the bottom floor is shocking. The second floor is the historical relics exhibition. The clever exhibition layout and the use of new media have largely made up for the lack of cultural relics. The third floor is the exhibition of ethnic minorities and local folk customs. I didn't see the three treasures transferred from the Palace Museum, but it seems easy to see from the commemorative medal vending machine that the Zhulu Zhikui (kui) silver seal unearthed locally can better represent the Hainan Museum.

I visited at the end of 2017. The Hainan National Museum is divided into the History Museum and the Art Museum. The History Museum is under renovation and not open, so I didn't see the national treasure. The only exhibitions on display are the blue and white porcelain exhibition on the left hand side of the entrance and the regular exhibitions of the three-story art museum in the main hall. The three floors are Nanming Fan Boat - South China Sea Maritime Civilization Exhibition, Fangwai Fengjiang - Hainan History Exhibition, and Between Immortals and Mortals - Hainan Customs Exhibition.

I particularly like the exhibition of Nanming Fan Ge, which mainly revolves around the excavation and restoration of the Southern Song Dynasty shipwreck "Huaguang Jiao I" to unfold the magnificent picture of the Maritime Silk Road, as well as the history of South China Sea fishermen making a living on this ancestral sea. I really like this unique display method. This ship is just a civilian merchant ship, and the cargo is simple household items. It has been soaked in the sea for so long, so it is white and clean, and the fragments are very cute🤤It feels that there is no huge gap between the rich and the poor and the cultural relics, and it is closer to life. I like it very much😳

The exhibition of customs display is a bit difficult to describe. The radio in certain specific areas will play a single Hainanese dialect in a loop. There is no explanation and I can't understand anything. It seems that there is also a wild boar cry. What's going on? 23333

I must go again after the renovation of the History Museum of Haibo is completed😋

1. The actual tour time is 2.5 hours, and 4 hours is recommended for careful viewing and taking photos.

2. Free entry, no tickets required, closed on Mondays except holidays, parking lot available.

3. Three permanent exhibitions and one special exhibition of blue and white porcelain; construction began in 2008 and it is said to be the youngest provincial museum in the country.

4. There are currently no interpreters or WeChat interpretation services. There is a free manual interpretation session in the morning and afternoon every day, which will explain the permanent exhibitions and special exhibitions on the first floor. The other two permanent exhibitions are not explained, so it is recommended to follow the manual interpretation.

5. The permanent exhibition on the first floor, Sailing on the South China Sea, is quite innovative among the permanent exhibitions in domestic museums, with 360-degree surround screen playback and particularly good sound, light and shadow effects. The "Huaguang Reef I" shipwreck protection laboratory is particularly shocking to see the 800-year-old ship planks waiting to be restored in a huge deionized water pool.

6. Between the outer frontier and the immortal world, one is about history, the other is about customs, there is no explanation.

7. If time is tight, go watch Nanming Fan Ge directly.

8. The Blue and White Porcelain Special Exhibition, which is a joint exhibition of exhibits from Shanghai Museum, Jingdezhen Ceramics and other institutions, tells the history of the development of blue and white porcelain. Most of the exhibits have QR codes that can be scanned by WeChat to read. It will last until the end of January 18.

9. I went there during the New Year's Day holiday. There weren't many people there and there was no queue in the entire museum. I was really touched.

Hainan Provincial Museum, opened in 2008, is the only comprehensive modern museum in Hainan Province. It is located at No. 68 Guoxing Avenue, Haikou City, in the east of the Provincial Cultural Park. When I went there, the museum was having an event, promoting tourism with Hulunbuir, and the security was very strict. There are four basic displays in the museum, namely, Hainan Collection Cultural Relics Display, Hainan History Display, Hainan Ethnic Minorities Display and Hainan Intangible Cultural Heritage Display. Walking through it, you can have a comprehensive understanding of Hainan's history, ethnic minority culture, Hainan intangible cultural heritage and cultural relics.

It is divided into several areas, introducing Hainan culture, democratic culture, sailing culture, etc. There are also various displays such as marine life and archaeology. It is very shocking and worth a visit. The on-site interactive effect is also very good. The four-sided LED display screen is vivid and vivid.

The Hainan Provincial Museum was newly built not long ago, and only a part of it is open to the public. It is currently free of charge and has a small number of collections. It mainly exhibits shipwreck salvage and systematically introduces Hainan's history and culture.

If you go to a city and don't visit his museum, it feels like something is missing.

Hainan Provincial Museum is the smallest baby in the provincial museum, and I can’t miss it no matter what.

After our friend dropped us off, he went to do some business, leaving Paopao and I to hang out here for the whole afternoon.

Although Haibo is quite large, only a small part of it is open to the public (a very small part indeed), and the rest of the area is either under construction or maintenance.

I don't know if it was due to insufficient publicity or some other reason, but when we went there, there were very few people. The number of visitors in the entire museum, excluding the staff, could be counted on one hand. It was not until later when school students came for a spring outing that the museum became a little more lively.

It was a coincidence that I happened to catch the exhibition of "One Loom Cannot Weave Two Kinds of Brocade" when I went there. I felt very close and proud to see our Nanjing brocade in Hainan.

The evaluation of Haibo on the Internet is not very high. Indeed, compared with other provincial museums or even large municipal museums, it does not have many cultural relics to show and its collection is relatively weak.

But I think it still has a lot of local characteristics. Many of the customs and habits of Hainan's local ethnic minorities are things I have never seen before.

During the visit, I found that Hainan’s development is actually not easy.

Throughout history, this place has always been used as a place of exile. Every famous official or scholar who was exiled or fled here made a lot of contributions to the creation of civilization in this wild land. But more importantly, it is because of the simple national culture here that the people of Hainan cherish and are grateful for it, so they can work hard to develop step by step without having any advantages. This point really touched me.

By Happy Ranger |

Each region has a different development trajectory, and Hainan also has its own unique culture. The museum building is grand, with three floors. Although there are not many exhibits, it can still increase a lot of knowledge.

Hainan Provincial Museum is the only comprehensive modern museum in Hainan Province, with many precious collections.

By Colorful Wind |

The "little brother" among the provincial museums in China. It opened in 2008. It is open to the public free of charge. Like many museums, individual visitors can enter the museum with their ID cards. If you live in Qilou Old Street, you can take bus No. 43 to get there.

But in general, the Hainan Provincial Museum is more about form than content. The building looks quite majestic, with three floors, but in fact:

The door of the underwater cultural relics protection and restoration laboratory on the first floor is closed, and the other two exhibition halls are temporary exhibition halls and are also not open.

The second floor's "Hainan Collection Cultural Relics Exhibition" is the most important exhibition hall and is open to visitors.

The intangible cultural heritage and ethnic minority displays on the third floor were all closed!

So in the end, I only visited the "Hainan Collection Exhibition". The three treasures of the Hainan Provincial Museum are all here: the "Yue Wang Qi Beigu" bronze composite sword with inlaid gold inscriptions, the Tang Dynasty tri-colored horse, and the Song Dynasty blue-and-white glazed flower-mouthed phoenix-headed pot.

In addition, there are some ceramic exhibits of different styles and a wide range of ages in the exhibition hall. But what is the relationship between these cultural relics and Hainan? After reading the introduction carefully, I understand that they are all "foreign aid". The State Administration of Cultural Heritage felt that the Hainan Provincial Museum was poor, so before the opening of the museum in 2008, the three treasures collected from overseas, the Warring States bronze sword, the Tang tri-colored horse and the Song Dynasty phoenix-headed pot, were officially collected in the Hainan Provincial Museum. In 2012, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage allocated more than 1,000 ceramic artifacts to the Hainan Museum. Some of these items were transferred by the British Hong Kong government, some were returned from Denmark, and some were retained by the China Cultural Relics General Store. From the Neolithic Age to the Qing Dynasty, they have greatly enriched the collection system of the Hainan Provincial Museum.

By Martian User |

Although it is not big, it can help you understand the history of Hainan. From the Neolithic Age's "The First Dream of Mankind" to the modern Anti-Japanese War, it runs through ancient and modern times and is brought up in a leisurely manner. I guess the most valuable should be the Song Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Flower Mouth Phoenix Head Pot, which has a special style and is not from the Central Plains. Neolithic urn coffins were also found in the area, which are the same as the Yangshao culture in the Central Plains. I wonder how they spread to this island in ancient times? I saw several gods and beasts outside the side room of the museum. Judging from the degree of weathering, they should be at least relics of the Ming Dynasty. They were thrown aside and not exhibited normally. There are also some wreckage of the hull.

By for a moment |

When I went there, the first floor was being renovated, so only the second and third floors were open. There were very few visitors, probably no more than 10. As a provincial museum, it is really a bit poor. Not to mention whether there are any treasures (I don't understand this), the scale of the museum and some interactive and entertaining popular science are not enough. It is a little worse than the Nanjing Museum, and even worse than the one in Shanghai.

Located in Qiongshan District, Hainan Provincial Museum has a comprehensive display of Hainan's history, ethnic minority culture, Hainan intangible cultural heritage, Hainan cultural relics, etc.; it allows visitors to travel through time and space and appreciate the historical wonders of Hainan Island and the spirit of the people of Hainan Island. Although the location is very remote, the museum was newly built in 2008 and the environment is atmospheric and upscale. It mainly introduces the agricultural history of Hainan Province, which is mainly based on farming, and displays the clothing, architecture, and daily necessities of ethnic minorities. The treasures of the museum are the Tang Sancai horse and the bronze composite sword with the inscribed gold inscription "Yue Wang Qi Beigu". The Maritime Silk Road mainly exhibits nearly 10,000 pieces of porcelain recovered from the South China Sea shipwreck.

I originally read the guide that Hainan Museum is not worth visiting, but I found that this is! Absolutely! Not! Right! Ah! Hainan Museum is very worth visiting, because I like historical and cultural sites and museums in various places very much, so every time I go to a place, I will definitely go to the local museum. We were pulling our suitcases and planned to take a bus to Wenchang after visiting the museum, so it was quite cumbersome to go to the museum. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic to help us store our luggage, and then we went in to visit. It may be that the exhibits of the Maritime Silk Road were exhibited in the Hainan Museum. The exhibits were very rich, and I was almost aesthetically fatigued by the end. The layout and furnishings were also very good. Recommended!

Although there are not many visitors to the Hainan Provincial Museum, the exhibits are quite good. The most impressive thing is the manufacture of ancient coins. The museum presents them in the form of videos. Of course, there are also ancient coins on display. A year later, I don’t remember what was on display, but I still remember the video content clearly. This is what I think is great. There are also many ethnic costumes and accessories on display, which are very distinctive. I don’t remember if there was an explanation.

The museum is located in Hainan Square and is free to visit. Use your ID card to exchange for a card, and the card must be recycled at the exit. Insert the card to exit. The museum building is very distinctive, with a total of three floors. There are two temporary exhibition halls on the first floor. Currently, the joint cultural relics exhibition of seven provinces on the Maritime Silk Road is on display, which is quite good. On one side of the second floor are two fixed exhibition halls, the Hainan History Exhibition, which introduces the history of Hainan from the beginning of the city to its liberation, which is very helpful for understanding the history of Hainan. There is also a temporary exhibition hall on the other side. There are two fixed exhibition halls on one side of the third floor. One exhibits the Hainan Ethnic Minorities Exhibition Hall, which is relatively brief. There is almost no introduction to the Miao and Hui people, and the introduction to the Li people is also very general. The other fixed exhibition hall exhibits ceramic cultural relics allocated by the National Museum to the Hainan Provincial Museum. I paid attention to the source of the cultural relics. They were all transferred from Hong Kong in 1997 and obtained from Denmark. The cultural relics are all pretty good. The visit took about three hours.

Hainan Museum is a good place for leisure. After entering, the interior design is really special. Many things are things I have never seen or heard of. There are many stories and a lot of history. After seeing them, I realized that it was like this. I was surprised. I have seen the history of Hainan and the entire process of change. The simulated scenes show the culture of ethnic minorities. Hainan Provincial Museum is located in the east of Haikou City. It is the largest and most comprehensive museum in Hainan. The museum is divided into three floors. The first floor displays the history of Hainan Province, from archaeological history to modern history. The second floor introduces the cultural relics of Hainan Province. There are relatively few things and they are relatively ordinary. The third floor is an introduction to folk customs, especially the customs of various ethnic groups, which is worth seeing. Hainan Provincial Museum is the only comprehensive modern museum in Hainan Province. It is located at No. 68 Guoxing Avenue, Haikou City, in the east of the Provincial Cultural Park. The museum opened on November 15, 2008. The museum project covers an area of more than 60 mu. The first phase of the project covers an area of about 18,000 square meters, mainly including exhibition halls, cultural relics warehouses, technical rooms, service facilities, and office rooms. The second phase of the project, which is being planned and designed, has a construction area of about 7,000 square meters. It will rely on the protection and restoration of the "Huaguang Jiao No. 1" shipwreck and nearly 10,000 pieces of porcelain recovered from the shipwreck, focusing on displaying cultural relics and specimens related to the history of the South China Sea, the Maritime Silk Road, geopolitics, and marine biological and mineral resources.

Free, closed on Mondays. Take the bus to [Hainan Provincial Library] or [Fire Station] (I think it's called this), and then walk to the museum. I didn't expect it to be so casual when entering the museum. No ID card was required, and no ticket was required. Just go in. It's quite far here. Going east, you have to cross a bridge, which is the direction of Meilan Airport. There is also [Wugong Temple] nearby, but we were too lazy to go.

The stairs in the hall are very similar to those in Suzhou Museum, which was designed by I.M. Pei. There is a fish pond under each staircase, which reminds me of Suzhou Museum. Hainan Provincial Museum has three floors. There is an exhibition hall on the right side of the first floor, which is a temporary special exhibition. The second and third floors both have an exhibition hall on the left and right, and three exhibition halls on the right. The exhibition includes the history, ethnicity, and underwater cultural relics (yes, not unearthed, but underwater) of Hainan Province and intangible cultural heritage (unfortunately, this museum was not open when we went there). It took about 2 hours to visit. There are guides in each exhibition hall. When you have enough people, you can summon the guides to talk, free of charge.

The Hainan Provincial Museum has a mediocre collection, which was a bit disappointing. But it was also quite interesting to see the national culture and historical stories about Hainan.

All domestic public museums are open for free. You can exchange your valid ID for tickets. It is best to make reservations online in advance for some popular museums, but this one in Hainan is definitely not necessary. I asked the service center and learned that there was no guide map, so I had to wander around. The site is not small, and many exhibition halls are under renovation. After searching for a long time, I only found the permanent exhibition "Exhibition of Cultural Relics in Hainan Museums".

Hainan Museum is probably the provincial museum with the fewest exhibits I have ever seen. The exhibition hall is not big, and there are basically no heavyweight historical relics. Most of them are shipwreck goods salvaged from the nearby sea. Not only can you take photos, but you can also make noise and chase in the exhibition hall, which is also eye-opening and surprising.

The Hainan History Exhibition in the permanent exhibition was under renovation and not open to the public. Although the Hainan Ethnic Minorities Exhibition was informative, it was not very interesting to see. So I had to continue exploring areas that I had not visited, and even went to some calligraphy and painting exhibition.

The elevator only goes to the third floor, and there seemed to be visitors on the fourth floor. Climbing up the stairs, we finally arrived at the permanent exhibition hall of "Hainan Intangible Cultural Heritage". The content here is quite rich, and some folk customs are very local.

By ヾSweet |

Everyone enjoyed the visit because there were many cultural relics unique to Hainan. There are several theme pavilions in the Hainan Provincial Museum, and we went into each of them to have a look.

Hainan Provincial Museum, at the end of the high ticket prices of various scenic spots, the construction of provincial museums in various provinces of China is quite satisfactory. In addition to local unique things, it would be boring to see too many homogeneous things.

It is currently under renovation. Although the exterior is quite good, the cultural content inside is more important.

The biggest attraction of Hainan Provincial Museum, in addition to the three national treasures, the blue-and-white glazed flower-mouth phoenix-head pot, the ancient sword of King Yue Qibei, and the Tang Dynasty tri-colored colored horse, is "The Direction of the Sea - Special Exhibition of Huaguang Reef No. 1 Shipwreck". The exhibition is divided into five units, describing the magnificent and glorious historical chapter of my country's ancient Maritime Silk Road and displaying the results of underwater archaeology in the South China Sea.

After a good meal, we went to the Hainan Museum (free, ID card required). The purpose of visiting the museum was to learn about Hainan and to see how the Hainan Museum was designed to increase my own design inspiration. Generally speaking, the design of the Hainan Museum is good. When introducing the Hainan Museum, I can directly see the characteristics of the Hainan Museum, the sea, the blue sky, and the coconuts. Thumbs up!

I think the information on Hainan's history and national development on the second floor of Hainan Provincial Museum is pretty good. The rest is not worth it.

There are not many tourists visiting the Hainan Provincial Museum, and the general visiting time is about 90 minutes. If you have time, you can go and have a look and learn about the history of Hainan Island.

Hainan Provincial Museum is holding Li Zijian's oil painting exhibition. It is said to be a global tour and will be held in Guangzhou and Shenzhen at the end of this year. It is my first time to see an oil painting exhibition. I feel it is quite good, but I don't know how to appreciate it. I feel that his words are vivid and lifelike, which is much more touching than watching a photography exhibition.

If you want to understand a city's character, you can experience its climate and the most common or famous snacks; if you want to understand its living conditions, you can walk along the ordinary streets, take a few buses or subways, and walk to the bustling commercial streets to see beautiful women; if you want to understand its full picture, then go to the museum! That is its history, its memory, and its future. Just like if you want to become good friends or lovers with someone, you usually open his photo album and look through the old photos to make the person in front of you more three-dimensional and full.

Hainan Provincial Museum, the youngest provincial museum in the Republic, will tell visitors about Hainan’s past, its vibrant life, rich memories, and the brilliant future of the South China Sea.

Most of the exhibitions in the museum are worth seeing if you are interested. For example, in the shipwreck exhibition, you can see the utensils salvaged from the shipwreck; in the collection of cultural relics, I saw a Qing Dynasty imitation Ge glaze double-eared plate-mouthed bottle, which is almost exactly the same as the one left by my grandmother, which made me a little excited; in the Hainan history exhibition, you can see some of the life scenes of Hainanese people in the past, and the dolls in it are a bit weird...

Hainan has a strong ethnic flavor and the museum is magnificent, but the location is relatively remote and there are relatively few visitors.

I have been there several times with my friends, and I even posted a message on Weibo and was @ed by the museum’s official Weibo account.

When I visited, the Haikou Museum was showing paintings and calligraphy by some famous artists. Well, I don’t have enough appreciation ability, but their paintings were so detailed. It was very shocking!

Hainan Museum is the last provincial museum open to the public in China. It has four basic exhibition halls: History Exhibition Hall, Collection Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall, Ethnic Minorities Exhibition Hall and Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall. With more than 20,000 cultural relics, it shows the civilization of Hainan from 400,000 to 600,000 years ago to the modern times, as well as the customs, traditions and humanities with Hainan's local characteristics. The special exhibition "Direction of the Sea" shows more than 10,000 cultural relics, totaling 209 boxes, from the "Huaguang Jiao I" shipwreck site, which is worth seeing. Beijiao is a reef at the back of the Xisha Islands. Since ancient times, it has been a must-pass place for the South China Sea route of the Maritime Silk Road. Under the misty South China Sea, countless ancient shipwrecks lie quietly, and the goods exported from those ships are also sealed underwater along with history. In early December 1997, when the fishing boat "00337" of Tanmen Port, Qionghai City, went to the Xisha Islands for fishing operations, it discovered and salvaged a number of important cultural relics on the coral reef at a depth of 4 meters outside the reef in the northwest waters of Beijiao.

The ancient coins adhered to the coral stone are "Yongle Tong Bao" from the Ming Dynasty. Most of them are brand new coins that have not been circulated. At that time, only the government had the right to allocate new coins, which is consistent with the time, route and cargo records of Zheng He's voyages to the West.

Whenever you go to a provincial capital, museums are an indispensable place to visit. Although Hainan is a southern barbarian, it still has some characteristics. The Hainan Museum is located in the Haikou Cultural Park on Guoxing Avenue. This 30-hectare park has built a package of image projects such as the Hainan Library, Hainan Song and Dance Theater, and Hainan Museum, with very high construction standards!

Opened in 2008, Hainan National Museum is the youngest among the provincial museums. The exhibition hall has three floors and covers 25,000 square meters. It has four basic exhibitions: "Hainan Collection of Cultural Relics", "Hainan History", "Hainan Ethnic Minorities", and "Hainan Intangible Cultural Heritage". The five temporary exhibition halls currently display calligraphy and painting, ceramics, African sculptures, Huaguang Reef Shipwreck and the World Expo Hainan Pavilion. Like other provinces and cities, Hainan National Museum is free to visit as usual and closed on Mondays.

There were almost no tourists when I entered Haibo, and many places were under renovation. The guides in the museum are usually local beauties, and Haibo is no exception. I wanted to find one to accompany me to take photos and chat, but I found that there were free guides for rent. Well, I saved 100 yuan and added it to the food budget, so I could eat a Wenchang chicken^_^.

There are only three temporary exhibition halls on the first floor of the Haibo Museum, a World Expo Hoax Hall, a closed calligraphy and painting exhibition hall, and an African sculpture hall. The aesthetics of Africans are really weird and hard to understand. After all, they are the earliest human race in the world and the first batch of ET experiments on Earth.

Go up to the second floor, and the highlight "Exhibition of Cultural Relics in Hainan Museum" is on stage! It is said that in the long history of the Chinese nation, the ancestors of Hainan used their wisdom to create a splendid civilization and left a relatively rich treasure of cultural relics on this hot land. But after digging three feet underground, the leaders of Hainan Province found that the value of these unearthed cultural relics is roughly equivalent to the level of a village in Henan, and there is not even a national treasure!

In order to support the appearance of the Special Zone, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage allocated three treasures of the museum, namely the ancient sword of King Qibei of Yue, the three-colored standing horse figurine of Tang Dynasty and the blue-and-white glazed flower-mouthed phoenix-headed pot of Song Dynasty.

There is also the Hainan History Exhibition on the second floor, which covers a wide range from prehistoric times to the liberation of Hainan Island. The keywords of this exhibition hall are Lady Xi, Huang Daopo, the Women's Army, and Huanghuali.

The Huaguang Reef Shipwreck Exhibition on the second floor is a temporary exhibition hall, but it is also the top priority of the Hainan Museum! This is the first time that Hainan Province has displayed the South China Sea underwater cultural heritage and underwater archaeological work to the public since the salvage of the Huaguang Reef No. 1 shipwreck in 2007. The so-called Huaguang Reef Shipwreck refers to a cargo ship from Fujian to Southeast Asia that ran aground in the Xisha Islands during the Southern Song Dynasty and sank into the sea along with a large amount of ceramics.
