Xixiu Beach Park

Xixiu Beach Park, as one of the few public beach strip parks in Haikou, is also a national windsurfing base, so there are many water sports activities here, such as windsurfing and sailing. The beach here is very good, and the public facilities are also complete. There are also many RVs camping here. It is very nice here, and both locals and outsiders can come here to play.

You can see sailboard training here, and there should be some amateurs playing sailboard here.

It is a different experience to watch it live, it is very fresh. The athletes stand on the sailing board and control the movable mast to control the direction.

For a layman, it is just an interesting activity that is very physically demanding and difficult. It also requires good swimming skills, so that at least you won't panic when you fall into the sea.

Xixiu Beach is next to Holiday Beach, but there are fewer tourists here. It is a windsurfing training and competition base, and it focuses more on water sports. However, the wind was a bit strong that day, so the sea view was discounted.

Xixiu Beach is the closest and largest bathing beach to Haikou, and is also the first beach scenic spot to visit after arriving in Hainan. It is located on Qingling Avenue in Haikou City, about 6 kilometers away from the city center. The coastline is about 1,200 meters long. At present, it has been built into a comprehensive competitive, sports, leisure and entertainment coastal tourist resort integrating tourism supporting services such as international sailing and windsurfing training and competition bases, international yacht clubs, public seaside swimming pools and water sports centers.

Holiday Beach and Xixiu Beach are the two most famous beaches in Haikou. The two are connected, so there is no need to worry about which one to go to. The left side of Holiday Beach is a lush Casuarina forest belt, with resorts, hotels, amusement parks, etc. scattered in between; the right side is the vast blue Qiongzhou Strait, with ships shuttling on the sea, and silver splashing jade. If you want to go swimming, the best season is May to November. Although the temperature is comfortable in spring and winter, the sea water is still a little cold. It is recommended to stay at the beach for one night, the price is much more affordable than Sanya. Evan carefully selected a hotel with a high cost-effectiveness next to Holiday Beach. Soaking in the open-air heated swimming pool, looking at the coastline outside the pool, the sun is scattered, the days are slow, how leisurely!

The beach is a bit beyond my expectations. It is best to go there in the evening. It is not too sunny and beautiful. It is worth going.

It shares the same coastline as Holiday Beach, but the scenery is inferior.

It is really comfortable to ride a bicycle here. There are shared bicycles all the way from the city to the beach. The jogging track and bicycle lane are beautifully built. The coconut trees on both sides sway in the wind. Watching the sailing team training and the sunset on the beach are very beautiful. The sea breeze is very refreshing!

We arrived at Xixiu Beach in the evening and watched a super beautiful sunset. Then we walked barefoot on the beach, heading west to Holiday Beach.

Xixiu Beach, Holiday Beach and Observation Deck are actually all the coastline beaches along Binhai Avenue. They are named differently to distinguish them. They are all connected. The quality of the sea and beach is the same. The sand is relatively fine and it is okay to walk barefoot. Xixiu Beach is relatively close to the city. If you keep walking towards the city, you can reach Wanlv Park.

It's very photogenic. When I came, there weren't many people. You can walk barefoot on the beach along the Bell Tower, Qilou Old Street, Wanlv Park, and Xixiu Beach, feeling the fine and soft sand, and then go across the road to take public transportation back to the city.

I once said that I have a preference for the west coast of Haikou. I love its gorgeous sunset glow, its clean sea water which is not inferior to that of Sanya, and of course, I also love its quietness and few people.

There are buses arriving, come and have a look, walk along the way, same beach.

You can imagine how excited the northerners were when they saw the sea for the first time.

Xixiu Beach is located on Qingling Avenue. Although it is not as well developed as Holiday Beach, it is the only national-level sailing and windsurfing winter training base in the country. Xixiu Beach was formerly known as Haikou Xiuying Beach Bathing Beach. There are relatively few tourists. If you like quietness, you can come here to enjoy the beach view and see the sailboats on the sea.

The beach in the city is quite clean. I saw sailboats. The sand is not too irritating. There are not many people, but some people are swimming. It was sunny when we first went there. Soon it started to rain heavily. We stayed in a small pavilion on the roadside to avoid the rain. The beach after the rain was even more beautiful and the air was very good. As soon as the rain stopped, some people went down to swim. By the way, there are no facilities for washing feet here, and the public toilets around do not allow washing feet, which is quite inconvenient.

Xixiu Beach is a national-level sailing and windsurfing winter training base designated by the State Sports Commission, and is therefore famous both at home and abroad. It has also been rated by citizens as one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Haikou".

There are almost no people at the beach. The reason for the small number of people may be the low temperature, the untidy beach and the complicated underwater conditions.

Adjacent to Holiday Beach, it has a flat shore, soft sand, and buildings and huge ships can be vaguely seen in the distance. It is a great place for leisure and sightseeing.

Xixiu Beach Park (formerly Haikou Xiuying Beach), located on Qingling Avenue in Haikou, has been built into a comprehensive seaside tourist destination for competition, sports, leisure and entertainment, integrating international sailing training and competition base, international yacht club, public seaside swimming pool and water sports center and other tourism supporting services. The park is characterized by sea breeze, trees, flat beach and clear sea water. It has been designated as a national sailing winter training base by the State Sports Commission. Athletes from many countries and regions also come here for training and competition, making Xixiu Beach Park famous at home and abroad.

Xixiu Beach is close to Holiday Beach, where many people go fishing and sailing.

It's just an extension of Holiday Beach. The bus stop is called Xixiu Beach.

Xixiu Beach is a public beach, and there is no charge. I didn't have any expectations at the time, I just wanted to go to the beach, so I went. As a result, the beach and the sea water were very clean, which exceeded my expectations~~~ There are also many water sports in the sea, especially sailing, which is very cool~

Because I was disappointed with the Holiday Beach I went to the day before, I was surprised to go to Xixiu Beach when I passed by Binhai Avenue. The beach here is just average, but because it is a sailing sports base, windsurfing and paragliding are dotted on the sea, adding to the dynamic feeling. It feels like this is the real sea!

Very quiet beach, almost no one, suitable for spending time quietly, no sailing

It was drizzling and the sea breeze was blowing. I happened to see a group of students taking a sailing class. I watched them easily set up the sailboat and rushed to the middle of the sea without fear. They really are children who grew up by the sea. For me who is a little afraid of water, I really envy them! But I still bravely completed the experience of treading and chasing waves under the guidance of my friends. The sea water is still a little cool in early spring. Listening to the sound of the waves, letting the sea water gently caress my feet, and the sea breeze spread over my face, I can also appreciate those young people who are blown by the wind from a distance. It is really comfortable!

The public beaches near Haikou city are already great places to play in the water.

Xixiu Beach faces the Qiongzhou Strait, where you can see many sailboats. It is very beautiful.

Xixiu Beach is not as famous as Holiday Beach, but I heard that Holiday Beach was too crowded and too commercialized, so we only went to Xixiu Beach. When we arrived at Xixiu Beach, we found that there were indeed not many people, and most of them were locals. The water quality is indeed not comparable to Sanya, but it is definitely okay to play in the water. Xixiu is very close to Xiuying Port, so you can see the container terminal and many passenger ships in the distance. There are also many windsurfing enthusiasts or professional athletes training here, which is quite interesting compared to other beaches.

There are many teenagers practicing sailing and windsurfing at Xixiu Beach. Walking on the beach and playing in the water, an afternoon passed~~~ Pay attention to sun protection and remember to bring a plastic bag to pack your shoes and carry them with you. The coastline is very long, and there are not many people on Xixiu Beach, so it is quiet.

The sea water was average. I saw a mother taking her 3 or 4-year-old son to learn swimming. After all, they grew up by the sea and were not afraid at all.

Passing by Xixiu Beach, there are relatively few people, so you can just come here. Xixiu Beach and Holiday Beach are only two stations apart. There is a sea-viewing pavilion, which is also a coconut forest greenway. Friends who like to ride a bicycle or can ride a bicycle may wish to ride the beach.

There are dots of white sails in the distance at Xixiu Beach. It is said that this is the training base of the national sailing team. Those white sails are approaching from afar. It turns out that not all of them are white sailboards. Some of the sailboards are painted in bright colors, which look very beautiful against the backdrop of the blue sky. I quickly pressed the shutter. Those athletes are tanned into a healthy tan, chasing the wind and waves every day. They must have a kind of persistence and love to persevere.

The blue sea, blue sky, yellow sand, white clouds, coconut trees and sailboats of Xixiu Beach are tropical scenery that are commonplace for Hainanese people, but for us it is a rare beauty.

Xixiu Beach is very lively because it is the only national-level sailing and windsurfing winter training base in the country, where you can watch or take pictures of the athletes' training scenes up close.

The sea in Haikou is not blue, but at least the one I saw was very clean, and the beach was also clean. Because of the strong wind, many small sailboat enthusiasts were playing on the sea. I really wanted to go to the sea, but it was a bit cold because of the cloudy sky. I didn’t feel lonely at all when I walked along the coast alone.

As soon as I got off the car, I saw the sea in front of me and couldn't wait to rush down. The beach was unusually clean and the sea water was sparkling from time to time. Standing on Xixiu Beach, you can see the high-rise buildings opposite, which is the Haikou city area. This beach is relatively quiet and there are not many people coming and going. Only occasionally a few people with leisure time walk along the beach, basking in the sun and blowing the sea breeze, which is quite enjoyable.

There are not as many people as Holiday Beach in Xixiu Beach, Haikou. I like this quiet beach with no people. You can see sailboats on the sea and volcanic rocks left by the volcano on the coastline on Xixiu Beach, which is also its characteristic that distinguishes it from Holiday Beach. We walked along the long coastline, played in the sea water and caught crabs...

 

I have spent four winters here. This is the fifth one, which means I have not been with my family during the Spring Festival for four years. This sea brings me too many emotions that cannot be expressed in words.
