Why did I choose Tongguling? You don't need to buy tickets to the scenic spot, but you need to pay for the shuttle bus to the top of the mountain. In fact, this is worth learning from some scenic spots that cheat people and charge a lot of money. Yes, some tickets are so expensive, and they are just an entrance ticket. After entering the gate of the scenic spot, you will find that any other facilities and equipment have to be charged again. Therefore, compared with those cheating scenic spots, the charges of Tongguling are really reasonable.

After reaching the top of the mountain, I followed the crowd that crowded the viewing platform and took a few photos on the viewing platform. Because there were too many tourists, I couldn't stop to take pictures seriously. After taking a few panoramic photos of Moon Bay, I was squeezed forward with the crowd. After visiting several viewing platforms, the first thing I did was not to sit down and rest, but to buy water from the only nearby store, even though the store was surprisingly expensive. In the past, you could drive up the Tongguling Mountain for free, but I had never been there. Last year, a visitor center was built. When I came, I only needed a sightseeing bus ticket, which was 35 yuan per person. Today, the ticket is 50 yuan, and the round-trip sightseeing bus is 45 yuan. The main purpose of going up the mountain is to see the Moon Bay, which is a small attraction. Such expensive fees are a bit too much.

In front of the visitor center, I bought some coconuts. The stall owner said they were 9 yuan each. I asked for two. When there were more customers, the price became 10 yuan each. For some reason, I also gave him 10 yuan when I paid. It's not easy for an elderly person to run a small business!

We arrived at 3pm on 20180130. The ticket was 50, the one-way sightseeing bus was 25, and the round-trip was 45. We bought a one-way sightseeing bus to go up the mountain, and it took 60 minutes to walk down. If we walked down directly, it would take about 30-35 minutes for adults.

The scenic spot only charges the fee for the up-and-down tour bus, which is 30 yuan for going up the mountain and 15 yuan for going down the mountain, and 45 yuan for round trip. You can also walk up and down the mountain by yourself, or just buy a one-way trip. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the drop-off point at the top of the mountain by taking the tour bus, and then walk a few minutes to reach the top of the mountain.

It is said that during the Eastern Han Dynasty, General Ma Yuan led his army to Nanhai and pacified Zhuya. When he returned to the capital, his army was stationed at Tongguling, where they were warmly welcomed and supported by the people. General Ma Yuan left the bronze drums he used in battle to this mountain, reflecting the friendship between the army and the people. Many years later, people dug up bronze drums on the mountain, and thus named this mountain Tongguling, which has been passed down to this day.

However, the view of Moon Bay from the mountain is really beautiful. This mountain is really not good. There are many small snakes on the mountain. I saw two snakes on foot and was scared to death. I ran away quickly. In short, this place is suitable for self-driving tours.

The road has been basically repaired. There is no entrance fee at present. You can take the scenic area bus to go up the mountain. It costs 20 yuan per person to go up and down the mountain. The scenery on the mountain is good. Take a look at the Moon Bay, which feels very beautiful. It’s just that the mountain is relatively small. It doesn’t take half an hour to walk around the top of the mountain.

I sneaked up there. Now they are building roads and scenic spots. I guess they will charge admission soon! Such natural landscapes will eventually become tourist attractions.
