If you want to go to the attractions on both sides, Nanshan Temple and Jinyu Guanyin, you must take a small train or it will be too late. So Yutong gave up decisively. Children who are in a hurry can't afford it. If you have only about 2 hours of play time like Yutong, it is recommended to go directly to Nanhai Guanyin after Buer. After all, this Guanyin on the sea is super famous, and you must run to the foot of Nanhai Guanyin: cram for Buddha. It is worth going. The weather in Sanya is very blue~ Guanyin on the sea is very spectacular. In 1993, the State Council Religious Affairs Bureau and the Hainan People's Government approved the construction of Sanya Nanshan Temple, and built a 108-meter-high statue of Guanyin in the sea in front of the temple, which belongs to the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone. This statue was built by the Hainan Sanya Nanshan Merit Foundation. It is a combination of three statues, majestic and spectacular, and is the largest statue in the world.

The Jingzao Project is known as a "world-class, century-class" Buddhist project for its grand scale, extraordinary significance, and rich Buddhist background. The six characters "Nanshan Sea Guanyin" were written by Mr. Zhao Puchu, former president of the Buddhist Association, in 1995. The location of the Guanyin statue was also selected by Mr. Zhao Puchu. After completion in 2005, gold foil was used to cover the lotus seat of Guanyin. In 1999, on the 19th day of the 9th lunar month, Nanshan held a grand opening ceremony for the construction of the "Nanshan Sea Guanyin". The project took 6 years and was completed on April 15, 2005. A grand opening ceremony was held on April 24, 2005 (the 16th day of the 3rd lunar month, the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva).

The statue is 108 meters high, standing on the 120-meter-diameter Jingangzhou (Guanyin Island) on the sea. The statue is an integrated three-figure Guanyin, with a solemn appearance, and its feet are on a 108-petal lotus throne. Under the lotus throne is a Jingang platform, and inside the Jingang platform is the Yuantong Hall with an area of ​​15,000 square meters. Jingangzhou is connected to the land by the 280-meter-long Puji Bridge, and together with the Guanyin Square with an area of ​​60,000 square meters and the theme parks on both sides of the square, it forms the Guanyin Garden Scenic Area covering an area of ​​nearly 300,000 square meters.

The Guanyin statue is very stunning when viewed from a distance, but when people stand on the lotus throne, they seem so small. Looking up, they can only see the lapels of Guanyin's clothes and can only pray to the Buddha.

You have to donate money to get on the platform of the Guanyin statue. Otherwise, you can only look at it from a farther platform. The Guanyin statue is very dignified, but when people come to visit, my personal feeling becomes worse.

Every way leading to the exit is also a way to sell things.

Nanhai Guanyin is a newly constructed scenic spot, all of which are buildings built after the 1990s. It is just an activity of renovating Buddhist temples in successive dynasties. Come and have a look. I wonder if people in the future who come to see such magnificent buildings will also be amazed that we had such architectural capabilities at that time.

The Nanhai Guanyin Scenic Area is actually quite large, and it takes quite some time to queue up. The main hall at the foot is still worth a visit, although it is not very interesting. I saw all kinds of strange Bodhisattvas.

When I arrived at the scenic spot, I wanted to buy tickets with my student ID card, but I only bought tickets for my mother online. I forgot to bring it! So sad. Fortunately, the tickets were cheaper in the off-season, 126 yuan! It was almost the same if I bought tickets online for 111 yuan! At the entrance, we who bought tickets online formed a group. A male tour guide took us in together. He explained to me and didn't hold an umbrella. It was really hard. It's better to have someone introduce this kind of scenic spot with heavy religious information. I heard that the sea water here has 5 layers of color, which is said to be due to the Buddha's light. It is 108 meters high, 7 meters higher than the Statue of Liberty. All planes in Sanya, whether taking off or landing, must circle around the Guanyin statue, commonly known as the Buddha Circumambulation! The released turtles cost 2999 yuan, which is so expensive! ~ I think the turtles can't go back to the sea. There are rules for taking photos with people and Buddhas: people must be shorter than Buddhas, and they must be on the left and right, not directly below Buddhas. It is also not allowed to hold Buddhas with hands, because you mortals can't hold it! If you can't remember, don't take a photo with the Buddha~

The first stop is Nanhai Guanyin. Everyone should listen carefully to the guide's explanation. There are many details about how to worship, what each Guanyin represents, and how to burn incense. It takes about three hours to visit here. Because we underestimated the time on the road and the size of the scenic area, we had to return the electric car at noon, so we had to visit it in a hurry and then go back. The last attraction in the garden is the viewing platform, where you can take pictures and play on the beach with reefs.

You need to pay for tickets to Guanyin Island separately. The attractions are clearly marked on the ticket, and the distance is basically not very far.

The scenery here is really nice. It is surrounded by the sea. The entrance inspection is very strict. You are not allowed to take photos and you have to take off your hat. There are many Buddha statues inside, which is very spectacular. At the end, you can go around to the feet of the Guanyin statue. Generally, everyone will hug the Buddha's feet. If you want to burn incense, it is free. If you want to make a wish, you need to pay for the larger and thicker incense. The scenic area is very large and the scenery is very beautiful. It feels like there is scenery everywhere, which makes people feel refreshed.

The tour guide said that if you want to worship Buddha in Sanya, you have to worship all three-faced Guanyin statues. It costs 50 yuan to go around the statue, and 80 yuan to pray. My friends are all ethnic minorities and don’t have this belief. But I have always believed that "Buddha is Buddha in the heart". So I worshipped the front "King of the Box Guanyin", that is, the Guanyin of Wisdom, and then retreated.

It is a big Buddha with three faces, each holding a different instrument. It costs money to get close to the Buddha's feet. I didn't go, it's not worth it. It's worth taking pictures, after all, it's a big Buddha over a hundred meters high, it's not common

If you walk, after passing Nanshan Temple and passing the elephant stone sculpture, walk about 1 kilometer to the left and you will reach the 108-meter-high Sea Guanyin. Taking pictures and watching are free, but if you want to take the elevator up to pray for Buddha's help, you have to pay a merit fee of 88 yuan. You can choose whether to go up. We didn't go. We think that as long as we pray sincerely, Guanyin Bodhisattva will definitely bless us to make our wishes come true. The Sea Guanyin is one of the giant Buddhas guarding the four corners of China. The sea and sky are one color, which is spectacular. Looking at the Buddha from a distance, and then approaching step by step, walking from the sea platform to the foot of the Buddha, I feel that I have a connection with Buddha all of a sudden. It is said that you can see it from the plane.

However, we can imagine the majesty of the Guanyin statue. Guanyin has three faces, kind eyes, and protects a piece of pure land. Although the Guanyin of the Sea has three faces, we have only seen two of them, and the other one has not been seen. Although it is a bit regrettable, not everything is perfect, so we can let it go.

When you are almost at the foot of Guanyin, you will realize that the height of 108 meters is really shocking. With you shaking this precious land, I believe that the coming year will be good weather and good harvest. Guanyin of the Sea is 5 meters taller than the Statue of Liberty, so she is the tallest stone statue in the world. It is said that all routes in Sanya will circle around Nanhai Guanyin to pray for peace and blessings.

It is worth mentioning that there is a Buddha Pavilion (also known as the Nepal Pavilion) in the scenic area, which contains various exotic objects and is a good place for taking photos. We were also lucky enough to see the worship ceremony of believers walking around the pavilion and learned more new things.

The only attraction that the lazy group got off the bus to visit, the hotel gave us tickets to climb the Guanyin, let alone go up, we didn't even go down the bridge! I burned a few incense sticks devoutly, and the "merit box" expressed a little bit of my heart, hoping that the Buddha would bless me and answer my prayers.

The Guanyin holding a rosary on the left embodies Guanyin's virtue of liberation, that is, completely getting rid of ignorance, troubles and all kinds of bondage, reaching a state of great freedom and great ease, and expressing the compassionate spirit of "all beings chant the Buddha's name, and the Buddha chants the sentient beings".

The Guanyin holding a lotus on the right embodies the Dharmakaya of Guanyin. Guanyin is the main deity of the Misong Lotus Department. The lotus is the Samadhi form of Guanyin, which symbolizes the four virtues of "eternal bliss, self-purity"; it is the holy flower in Buddhism, symbolizing the flesh and heart of all living beings. The lotus body is pure, rising from the mud without being stained, and the roots and stems are connected to the heart, symbolizing "the mind, Buddha, and all living beings, the three are not different." Overall, it represents the purity of Guanyin and the perfection of the six senses.

The Guanyin statue generally represents the image of Guanyin's great compassion, "whose great mercy brings happiness to all sentient beings and whose great compassion relieves the suffering of all sentient beings." It is a spiritual symbol of "compassion," "wisdom," and "peace."

Master Shenghui said that the Nanshan Sea Guanyin Statue is second to none in the world and is the pride of the Chinese Buddhist community.
