As a native of Baoding, my memories of the lotus pond are my childhood memories. When I was a child, I would wait at the gate of the lotus pond for my father to pick me up from school on his bicycle.

I came at the wrong season, so of course I couldn't see the lotus, but the park was pretty good. The park is not big, so if you want to take a leisurely stroll, 2-3 hours is enough. If the Zhili Governor's Office is the Forbidden City of Baoding, then this lotus pond should be considered the Beihai of Baoding in terms of ticket prices and geographical location (Daci Pavilion is considered the Lama Temple of Baoding). But this Baoding version of Beihai Park is also full of construction sites. The map shows that the park has two north and south gates. The entrance I mentioned is the north gate, and the south gate is hard to find. It seems to be blocked by a construction site. I don't know if it can be completed before the summer to see the lotus.
