Bashang Grassland really left an indelible impression on me. The beautiful scenery, cool and comfortable climate, and simple folk customs are really great. We drove to Bashang Grassland by ourselves. We searched Xiuyi Farmhouse on the Internet. It takes about four hours from Beijing to Bashang. The cool wind hit us when we got off the car. We rode horses for a while in the afternoon and had the local specialty roasted whole lamb in the evening. The boss's business is very good and the boss is very nice. The room has large windows and the sun shines directly in when it comes out. I like it very much.

The grassland is beautiful, vast and boundless. It was summer when we went there, the season when the grass is lush and the birds are flying, and the wind blows the grass low and you can see cattle and sheep. The grass is very green and the wind is very gentle. The sun is bright during the day but not too hot, and it gets colder at night. You can have fun, chase, and run on the grassland, play grass motorcycles, ride horses and shoot arrows, or hang glider.

There is a road on the grassland, I don’t know whether it is a national highway or a provincial highway. It is very quiet and there are not many cars. When I didn’t have a driver’s license and had never learned to drive for a day, I drove directly on the road under the protection of a friend. Because there were no cars and it was grassland, it was very safe. So my first driving experience, and driving without a license, happened here, and it was very impressive.

I went there with my friends on the weekend. It was a little different from what I imagined. I went there in July. The grassland was still quite cold, and it rained from time to time. It was windy, and the experience was not very good. I still want to go to the Great Mongolian Grassland if I have the chance...

We were just passing through the Bashang Grassland. We mainly went to Mulan Paddock and Wulanbutong, but we only passed by Mulan Paddock on the way back. This passing by left us with beautiful memories.

It was August when we went there. It was a little cold, and autumn was coming. But the scenery was still beautiful. Seeing the vast grassland made me feel better. I believe there will be more beautiful scenery in autumn.

Fengning Bashang has a comfortable climate, blue sky and white clouds, and refreshing air. There are vast grasslands, green fields, wild flowers swaying in the wind, galloping horses, sheep scattered like pearls, and the simplicity and hospitality of the farmers in Bashang. The boss is warm and honest, and the food is especially delicious.

What a rip-off. There weren't many people here during the off-season, but they still chased us on motorcycles to ask us to stay in a hotel. All the grasslands were fenced off, and the nice grasses we saw were all in the scenic area. The one at the Khan's Palace cost 80 per person.

We stayed at Mingjing Hotel, which has relatively good conditions. We had the lamb leg there once and it felt pretty good.

It's a bit cold in mid-June, so wear long sleeves and long pants.

Fengning Bashang is located in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, which is located in the northern part of Hebei Province and belongs to Chengde City. At that moment, I felt that this was the real Sky Road! What? Grassland Sky Road? There is no comparison at all! Because, Grassland Sky Road is just a modification and description, and Qiansongba Sky Road is really walking on the road in the sky!

Weichang Bashang Grassland has the best scenery and is a paradise for photographers. Many Bashang scenery photos on the Internet were taken in Weichang Bashang. The Seven Star Lake in Weichang Bashang Grassland is a good place to photograph the sunrise and its reflection in the water. You can also go to the colorful mountain top to photograph the sunrise. The sunrise photos taken will be very majestic.

Camping is allowed in the Bashang Grassland, but barbecue is not allowed, mainly for fire prevention. The grass and flowers of the Bashang Grassland will only turn green and bloom after mid-May. The autumn scenery is best from October 10th to early November. The golden Bashang is colorful. The scenery of Zhangbei Grassland is indeed not as vast and beautiful as Hulunbuir and Xilin Gol Grassland, but it is a very good choice for the vicinity of Beijing.

The B&B is very deceptive. They didn't explain the consumption and precautions in advance. They were all hindsight. The B&B we stayed in didn't tell us what time we should check out. When we woke up the next day, they told us to check out at 9:30. Because we didn't know that the owner was not at home, we went out to play directly. When we came back, they told us to check out at 9:30. Half of the deposit was deducted. The local customs are not simple. There are also few places to play. They are all for making money. It is recommended to travel to some places that are not seriously commercialized. Bashang has been corrupted by money and there is no taste of tourism. If you want to go to the grassland, you can drive to Hulunbuir or Xilin Gol and other places.

When I arrived at Fengningba, I didn't know if it was really Fengningba, the place known as the first grassland in northern Beijing. I only saw some yurts on the roadside and many horses. I could ride horses, but I didn't ask about the specific fees. I didn't see the grassland.

Traffic: We set off at 6:30 in the morning. The mountain road was blocked for 5 kilometers. It took us 8 hours to drive 270 kilometers. It was a sunny day and we had various rear-end collisions along the way.

Accommodation: Standard rooms are even shabbier than the 150-yuan hotels in Beijing, starting from 500 yuan a night. There is no air conditioning in all the accommodations, but you can't feel the cool weather of the grassland, and there is no hope of escaping the summer heat.

Play: Horse riding for 1 hour is 80, the Khan's Palace is 80, and the scenic spot package in the palace is 190. The environment of the horse farm is very poor.

Food: There is no air conditioning in all the restaurants, and they are very expensive



Anyway, there won't be a next time. It's still better to live in the city.

Everything is fine except for some garbage left by travelers on the road. I hope that the quality of the people will improve and there will be no more garbage in the future.

It's okay to go in the right season, but some grasslands are already bald

2015-08 From Guyuan, via Lightning Lake, we went to Baoyun Farmhouse in Zhalaying Village, Datan Town, Bashang, Fengning for accommodation. Inside the yurt, most of the things are the daily necessities of the Mongolian people, and there are also some clothing displays. There is nothing special. Walking by the lake is very relaxing. There is also an amusement park in the Khan's Palace, where there are archery, horseback riding, grass skiing, rafting, CS and other entertainment projects, but you have to buy tickets separately, the ticket price is 190 yuan/person. Bashang Grassland is really a great place for tourism and summer vacation!

It is a bit cold outside at night. I don't feel cold when I sleep in the room with a quilt. According to the hotel staff, the rooms in Bashang Grassland are very cool all year round, so it is best to come in July and August.

The road is easy to walk. The villa has a good location. Opposite the scenic spot of the Khan Palace, the first grassland in northern Beijing. At night, I had roasted whole lamb for 25 yuan per catty and stayed for 80 yuan per room. It was quite clean. The price of farm meals was not expensive. I ate roasted lamb, karaoke, and played with a bonfire. In the morning, the boss helped me contact horses for riding/40 per hour. He also helped me get the entertainment tickets for the first grassland wetland park in northern Beijing, which was much cheaper than getting them by myself. The grassland scenery was beautiful and real, with a vast sky, vast wilderness, and cattle and sheep seen in the wind blowing the grass.

The closest grassland to Beijing is suitable for relaxing, but if you want to see the real prairie, it may not be the best place.

In fact, every National Day holiday is a frightening and tangled day. If you want to go out, the traffic jams for five or six hours are common. But since I have the experience of Guyuan last time, and I have already planned all the points last time, I will go straight this National Day, Fengning-Bashang!

It is an important part of the Inner Mongolia Plateau, among which the Mulanweichang County-Ulanbutong Prairie is the most beautiful, but it is also the farthest from Beijing. The average altitude of the area is about 1,500 meters, with no heat in summer, comfortable and pleasant, gentle terrain, mostly hilly grasslands, with a total area of about 350 square kilometers and a total length of about 300 kilometers. Those who can't ride a horse must have a person who leads the horse, otherwise the horse will not move, so it is 70 yuan. Moreover, it is not one person leading one horse but three. The one in the middle is very uncomfortable and his legs will be pinched. Those who join the tour group will suffer a bit because the tour guide will take the commission and will not let you ask yourself. He will only say whoever signs up for horse riding and pays, and then he will find someone for you. We also went to Grassland Amusement Park, the largest one. The projects were OK. There weren't many people and we could experience all of them. However, the safety measures were not very good, so we didn't go for the more dangerous grass sliding. It was the end of July when we went there, and the rape flowers were in full bloom. We saw a lot of horses there, but not cows and sheep. The specialty products were mostly kumis, beef jerky and cheese. We bought a lot of beef jerky. It tasted better when it was freshly made. Everyone should eat it as soon as possible after buying it, and don't keep it for a long time. It will become hard if it is kept for a long time (including vacuum packaging). I didn't think the cheese tasted that good either, because I hadn't eaten it much before, so I couldn't taste any difference. Anyway, I think it's worth a visit.
