Some parts may be under renovation and not open to the public. The tour fee is 100 yuan per time and electronic tour headsets are 20 yuan per person. The content of the tour is indeed different from the live tour, so you can decide for yourself based on your financial situation and interests.

I went there in mid-autumn and the parking lot outside the door cost an extra 20.

So I parked the car outside, and when I came back, I looked at the toll sign, 10 yuan for less than six seats. How come it was 20 yuan? Damn!

I walked over and asked the dark-skinned toll collector, and he said, you are visiting two temples, so it’s 20. Then why is it not written 20 on your Mabi sign?

I called the Price Bureau on the spot, and they said, "Let the toll collector answer the phone." The toll collector nodded and bowed. After hanging up the phone, he immediately changed his attitude and said, "Drive over here and I'll charge you 10 yuan."

I parked it and I drove it back? You must be kidding.

I heard a car next to me and someone got off. I told him how much it would cost. 20! I called the Price Bureau and it was 10 yuan.

The black guy over there heard me and immediately yelled at me in a loud voice. A few women who were selling things came over. He yelled even louder when he saw there were so many people. He was being polite when yelling at people. Just kidding. There were three police officers standing in the police car next to him. I said he was charging too much and yelling at people. Do you care? He said, we don’t care. We are the police in the Little Potala Palace. The parking lot is not our responsibility. Why don’t you call 110! I said right away, you are just pretending!

The Price Bureau called again and said that he was on vacation and would call you back tomorrow to calm you down.



For outsiders, isn't Chengde just the mountain villa and the Eight Outer Temples? There is no connection with the rest. Let's not talk about whether the tickets are expensive or not. It is the largest temple among the Eight Outer Temples. Standing in the main building of the Putuo Zongcheng Temple and looking at the big red wall, you can purify your soul and broaden your mind. The Little Potala Palace, located to the north of the Mountain Resort, is one of the must-see attractions in Chengde.

As a royal place of worship, this place is actually of higher level than the Potala Palace. It feels like an ancient temple hidden in the mountains. I like Chengde and I like this place very much.
