Sun Island Scenic Area

Opposite the Songhua River Cableway is the Sun Island Scenic Area. I didn't do much research, so I thought I'd just come and take a look. I unexpectedly discovered that this is simply a Russian-style photo-taking holy land, and you can make a blockbuster movie in minutes. The melody of Li Jian's Lake Baikal echoed on the radio, and I felt like I was in another country. Look at this piano, isn't it played in a similar way?

On a snowy day, in the evening, outside the car window, walking along the island, I occasionally found one or two deserted and dilapidated churches. They were as interesting as the plots in foreign science fiction movies, but without a little high technology and black magic.

Opposite is Songhuajiang Daoli District, we are on the island. Watching the sunset in the northeast, the intersection of light and darkness, the contrast of black and red, every time I look at the sky in the northeast, it can give me different feelings and patterns.

I didn't take the boat to the opposite Sun Island that day. I went there by this railway. It didn't matter if I walked there. I had been looking forward to it all the way. In the end, I walked for more than 40 minutes. The scenery on Sun Island is good. It is an AAAAA scenic spot, and its gold content is still very high. The most beautiful scene on Sun Island seems to be called Water Curtain Cave. When you pass through it, there will be very fine water drops pouring on you, which is very comfortable. There are also little squirrels. They are not afraid of people. It is fun to feed them.

In summer, Sun Island is a summer resort, but in winter, it is relatively unpopular. Of course, if you go there for the Snow Expo, that is another matter.

There was very little snow in Harbin this year. Even if it snowed, the snow would be cleared up in the city as soon as it came, but the snow on Sun Island was not cleared up. And because there were few people, there was almost no need to avoid people when taking pictures.

There is no charge for the route from the Russian Culture Pavilion to the Northeast Anti-Japanese War Memorial Park and the Friendship Forest, so you can take a leisurely walk inside.

If you want to take photos, there will occasionally be residents passing by in groups of three or four, and you can ask them for help.

If you walk out from Chuanchang Road, you will reach the Middle East Railway Park. There is basically no one in the park. If you turn around and walk for about an hour, you can reach the Harbin Grand Theater. But it is not recommended. The cold wind is like a knife cutting, it is really unbearable.

Sun Island became famous due to a song in the 1980s, and became a summer resort. Later, a Russian-style town was built on Sun Island in Harbin. It was quite attractive in the early days, but with the deepening of exchanges between the two countries and the rise of Chinese people traveling abroad, it is better to travel directly to Russia.

Stop 142: Harbin Sun Island Scenic Area. It is closed from November 5 to December 10 every year to arrange ice sculptures. Like a large wetland park, it is sparsely populated at this time. No ice, no flowers, just dry and cold. The Russian style town also has more staff than tourists. At lunch, I unexpectedly received the study plan for the end of the semester from my eldest child. Located on the north bank of the Songhua River, across the river from Stalin Park, Sun Island Scenic Area is a world-famous summer resort, a bright pearl of Harbin, a national scenic spot, and a 5A-level tourist area. This place should be visited in winter because of the spectacular ice and snow world. In summer, it becomes a park on the Songhua River. Many families come here to relax on weekends, and there are many water activities suitable for children. Since we had to go to the Provincial Museum in the afternoon, we just took a quick look here and felt the cool breeze on the island!

The Sun Island Scenic Area is free and covers a large area. You usually have to take a sightseeing bus to visit it. There are 3 sightseeing bus routes. Line 1 is in Sun Island Park, the main scenic area, Line 2 is in the southeast periphery of the main scenic area, and Line 3 is the Bund Wetland Route. The ticket price is 20 yuan. You can take each line once and get on and off at will.

Sun Island is a river island in the Songhua River. There are three ways to get there: by car across the bridge, by ferry, or by cable car. No tickets are required, but some attractions require separate tickets.



The entire Sun Island Scenic Area is like a big park. In summer, it is full of flowers, animals, green plants, lakes, waterfalls, and fitness trails. If you have plenty of time, it is very comfortable to stroll around in it.



In Sun Island, there is a very popular deer park. You can enter the park and have close contact with the deer by paying 10 yuan for a box of feed. I imagined that the scene of feeding the deer would be as fresh as in the parks in Nara, Japan. However, the "Northeast deer" here are also quite unrestrained. When they saw me holding food, they rushed towards me and licked the box with their tongues. It was difficult to capture the beautiful scene...



In addition to sika deer, pine trees are probably another most popular animal on Sun Island. Little squirrels can be seen everywhere. They are not afraid of people and are very cute running around. They even have their homes in the trees.



Without taking the sightseeing bus, it is possible to visit all the main attractions in 2-3 hours, which satisfies the nostalgic needs of our parents and is well worth it.

The main attraction of Sun Island is snow sculptures, which is very different from the Ice and Snow World. When I went there, it was the Snow Sculpture Festival in the park. Everyone showed off their talents to carve excellent snow sculptures. Some of the works were really amazing! You can also play with snow rings and slide down from giant snow piles! However, it was really cold to stay in the park for 4 hours in January. It was unbearable!

The park ticket is similar to the Ice and Snow World, which is also more than 300 yuan, but it is worth the price.

I read a lot of comments before but didn't quite understand them, so I wrote a simple one after playing it myself.

Sun Island is an island, and Sun Island Park is the largest attraction on the island. Neither Sun Island nor the park charges admission. There are electric cars available on the island and in the park, both cost 20 yuan, but the tickets for the electric cars in the park and on the island are not interchangeable.

The electric cars on the island go to the park entrance at one end (about one kilometer), and the other end goes as far as Yuritai (this is only a small half of the island, the rest is not accessible by electric cars). The electric cars on the island can usually only see the scenery along the river, which is actually not very useful. If you only walk to the Russian-style town, it is actually not far.

The park is nice, especially the waterfall and the scenery around the water pavilion. Because I didn't bring my kids in the summer, I didn't see the ice and snow museum, the deer park, etc. In the summer, many families go there for picnics, tents, and parties. The attractions in the park are not far from each other. If you want to play for a day and walk and see them, you don't need to buy a battery car ticket; if you are in a hurry and want to see the park inside and outside in half a day, you can buy it.

In other aspects, there are many service vehicles on the island that sell Madiel freezers, but there are almost no real food for sale, so you usually need to bring your own.

When I went there, the Ice and Snow World had not yet opened, so I went there just to comfort myself. But it was quite interesting to see ice sculptures for the first time. If you have seen them somewhere else, they may not be up to par.

Sun Island Park is located on the north bank of the Songhua River in Harbin City. As mentioned before, it is just opposite the Flood Control Memorial Tower and across the river from Stalin Park. It is known as a summer resort.

There are various Russian style huts, people growing vegetables, flowers, and raising animals in front of the house, and dolls can be seen everywhere. It feels like entering a Russian fantasy theme park full of girlish hearts. It is precisely because of this that I feel that this style town is deliberately built, not the kind of simple and authentic feeling. There are several exhibition halls and shops, you can go in and see; there are also Russian aunties, you can take photos with her, but you have to pay 20 yuan per person. We bought a big bread in the store inside, and then sat on the green wooden chair under the tree, eating and enjoying the cool, and then admiring these dreamy pastoral huts one by one. It is the house of my dreams, a small house, with a garden, a vegetable garden and a fence outside. There is a swing in the garden, a dog, and my husband and my children (well, the dream is so beautiful)~~

You can get on and off at any station with your ticket.

I heard that Sun Island has always been a summer resort in summer, with many tourists. Individual tourists travel with a group and parked at Sun Island Park. I didn't go to see the Polar Pavilion and Snow Expo, but got off the car and walked around the park square. The square is nice and grand.

The Sun Island Scenic Area is not far away. The ferry I took arrived at Pier 11. After getting on, walk about 800 meters and you will see Gate 2 of the scenic area. You can buy a ticket to enter. Don't take the sightseeing car to Gate 1. That's not necessary. It's cool to walk around. There are houses of various styles inside. It's best to rent a bicycle to ride when you enter the scenic area. If you have the energy, you can also take a walk. If you are tired, there are wooden benches next to you for rest. If the weather is hot and humid, it's best to go to the artificial lake at Shuige Yuntian to cool down, which is also interesting.

There were very few tourists in the park at that time. As soon as we entered the gate, we were amazed by the beauty. It felt like a European garden. The park was very clean and beautiful.

Heilongjiang is a good place to travel in summer. There is no smog here, and it is a holy place to cleanse the lungs. The route from Mohe to Hulunbuir grassland is even more beautiful. For more routes, please add the editor, and no length will be provided.

Only in midsummer, the island is still very beautiful and you can spend most of the day there. I haven't been there in winter and I don't dare to go there after reading the reviews.

If you don't see the Ice and Snow World open, the only attraction of the entire Sun Island is the Polar Pavilion, which is slightly attractive. The only attraction of the Polar Pavilion is the white whale show. If you have seen white whale shows in other places, I really don't recommend going to the Polar Pavilion. If the Ice and Snow World is not open, and you have seen the white whale show, I really don't recommend going to Sun Island, which is very boring and deserted.
