Laojun Mountain Scenic Area

I went to Laojun Mountain on the last day of the National Day holiday. I highly recommend it. It is so beautiful, with endless mountains. It is definitely worth a visit.



Laojun Mountain is the main peak of the 800-meter-high Funiu Mountain, a remnant of the Qinling Mountains. It is said that Laozi lived in seclusion here. The buildings on the mountain are very unique and full of the breath of immortality. Standing on the top of the mountain and looking into the distance, the endless mountains make me feel full of pride. Whether it is natural scenery or cultural landscape, it is worth seeing.



I was lucky enough to visit Qingcheng in Sichuan, one of the four famous Taoist mountains in China. Compared with Laojun Mountain, it is nothing special.



Laojun Mountain is not very famous, but it is a rare and good place;



Because we went to Laojun Mountain on the last day of the holiday, we were afraid that we would not be able to get back on the same day and miss the train the next day, so we chose to join a group tour, which cost 175 yuan per person, including round-trip shuttle bus + tickets + round-trip tickets for the Zhongling Cableway. If you are not going there specifically to climb the mountain, you will basically choose to take the Zhongling Cableway, but you can choose not to buy the Fenglin Cableway first. We chose to climb up and come down to take the Fenglin Cableway, so that we can see the scenery while walking and the scenery of the cableway. It is quite comfortable to sign up for a one-day tour. The bus will take you directly to the entrance of the cableway, and it will take more than ten minutes to drive from the gate to the cableway entrance. It will be inconvenient to travel by yourself without a car.



Depart at 6:30am, arrive at Laojun Mountain around 10:00am, return at 16:30pm, arrive in Luoyang around 20:00pm;

The scenery is pretty good. One ticket includes a ten-mile gallery with two small scenic spots, which can be regarded as a conscientious scenic spot... Overall, Laojun Mountain is quite physically demanding, even more so than Huashan. The shops and restaurants on the mountain are all closed, and there is no food. Except for two or three temples that are open, all others are closed. Come here in winter, just to climb the mountain, the scenery should be better in summer.

The ticket to Laojun Mountain is 80 yuan, and the round trip fare for two sections of cable car is 210 yuan (130+80), so I paid 290 yuan directly at the ticket hall (considering that my lung disease has not been cured, I dare not show off or overwork).

Private cars can drive in (it's very big), but you still have to pay a parking fee of 10 yuan when you exit the scenic area, so the total is 300 yuan.

I followed the signs in the scenic area to find the "Yunjing Cableway" - it was closed, so I turned to the "Zhongling Cableway" and parked the car: this is the first cableway up the mountain.

There are 4 cable cars in Laojun Mountain, of which the "Yunjing Cable Car" and "Sightseeing Cable Car" are closed. The cable car tickets I bought refer to the "Zhongling Cable Car" in the first section and the "Fenglin Cable Car" in the second section.

On the way from Zhongling Cableway to Fenglin Cableway, you will first pass Zhongtianmen Square. There is a mountain gate at the entrance of the square with the words "Jingshi" written on it.

Later, after reading the introduction, I learned that "Laojun Mountain" was originally named "Jingshi Mountain".

Zhongtianmen Square is named after the "Zhongtianmen Archway" standing here.

Behind the Zhongtianmen Archway is a very steep staircase, which made me back off and decided to take the other side to go directly to the "Fenglin Cableway" to go up the mountain. As for the "Glass Plank Road" and "Sacrifice Cliff" mentioned by the Zhongtianmen Archway, I will talk about it after I come down the mountain.

After getting off the Fenglin Cableway, you have basically reached the top of the mountain, but you still need to take a circular tour along the suspended plank road in the mountain.

Walking along the road, we came to a cave entrance. This cave has a nice name called "Fairyland Tunnel". The "Yunjingtian Road" on the left is probably closed due to heavy snow, so tourists can only turn right and go through the cave.

After passing the via ferrata, you’ll step onto the suspended plank road and see the vast mountain scenery before you.

The sky was not very clear that day, and there was a lot of gray fog. Fortunately, the white snow covered and embellished the mountain scenery, making it stunning.

Standing on the viewing platform of the main peak of Funiushan Mountain, you can overlook the "Golden Summit Taoist Temple Group". From here, the view is very clear, and the design, architecture, and layout of the Taoist temple are also clear, which is amazing!

Especially the two golden temples (I later found out that one was Yuhuangding and the other was Liangbaotai) located symmetrically on the top of the mountain, forming a triangle with the third temple (Golden Palace), which was very shocking!

I went up from Dream Valley. I didn't see the fourth person on the way up. It took more than three hours to reach Funiu Ridge. The snow was thick and the road was long. I felt that the trip was worthwhile when I reached the Golden Temple. On the way down the mountain, I saw a big orange in front of the Guanyin Temple. It was chubby. I walked for more than two hours from the fire escape and was too tired to move. 20191.1

I went there twice, both as a day trip, and both times in winter. The first time was in mid-November, but it was raining and the weather was very bad. There was also heavy fog on the mountain, and I couldn't see anything, so I was in a bad mood at the time. The second time was on December 9th. The Laojun Mountain covered with snow in winter was simply beautiful. As a pure southerner, I was excited to see such a scene. Photos can't capture one-tenth of the beauty of the scene. Although there is no blue sky and white clouds, the cloudy day also has its beauty. I happened to encounter a sea of clouds, and the scenery was like a Chinese landscape painting.

Both times I went with an outdoor group. The second time I came back by myself. If you are here, I will give a traffic light to those who want to go on a free trip. (Only for departures from Zhengzhou)

The second cable car is not recommended because the essence of the scenic area is on the way up the mountain. It takes about three hours to walk slowly from the starting point of the second cable car to the Golden Summit.

Passing through Nantianmen, the Jinding Taoist Temple complex appeared before our eyes. The glazed tiles shone brightly in the sun, the incense smoke rose, and the distant bells penetrated the clouds, soothing the fatigue of the climb, leaving only a heart full of shock and tranquility, as if the soul had also been purified.

Laojun Mountain has pleasant scenery all year round, and different seasons have different beauties. It is amazing to admire the wonders of nature, but when the weather is bad, it is always foggy. Everyone must check the weather forecast before traveling.

After driving 143 kilometers and 2.5 hours, we arrived at the Laojun Mountain Scenic Area. The ticket to Laojun Mountain is 100 yuan, and the round-trip fare for two cable cars is 210 yuan (130 yuan + 80 yuan). One ticket includes a Ten-Li Picture Gallery with two small scenic areas. The price of this scenic area is a surprise to everyone.

Laojun Mountain is the core scenic spot of Funiushan World Geopark, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, a world and national geopark, and a national nature reserve. The scenic area is very large and is mainly divided into three major scenic areas: the Laojun Mountain main scenic area in the center, the Dream Valley Scenic Area in the west, and the Zhaigou Scenic Area in the east.

Tour route: After taking the two-level cable car up the mountain, take the clockwise loop line, start walking on the plank road from the tunnel, enjoy the scenery along the Ten-Li Painting Screen, pass by Laozi Sutra Transmission, Tai Chi Labyrinth and other attractions, to Taibai Slope, then to Mazongling, Funiu Jiding, Xianrenxie, and through Nantianmen to Laojun Temple.

A: If you can drive yourself, do so. If you can’t, join a tour group.

B: It depends on the weather. The temperature difference on the mountain is about 8 degrees.

C: If you want to enjoy a good sunset, it is recommended to stay in a B&B in Zhongtianmen for one night and watch the sunrise at the same time.

D: If you drive up the mountain from Yunjing Cableway (there is another cableway called Zhongling Cableway in the scenic area, and the two cableways take turns to be open), drive to Parking Lot No. 13.

I think the most worthwhile place to visit during this trip to Luoyang is Laojun Mountain. It is really beautiful when the lights are turned on at night!



Only when the lights start to come on around 5:20, Laojun Mountain becomes its complete form. The lights are on for a short time, only about half an hour or more. And if you wait until the lights go out before going down the mountain, the plank roads and cable cars will be crowded with people. So if you don't want to queue, remember to go down the mountain before 5:45 to avoid the peak hours.

The Palace in Heaven is worthy of its reputation, but the accommodation on the top of the mountain cannot be booked. You have to try your luck on the spot, which is a bit bad. I took a picture of the phone number there, you can call and ask, maybe the rules will change in the future

Laojun Mountain, formerly known as Jingshi Mountain, is located 3 km southeast of Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is the main peak of the 800-li Funiu Mountains, a remnant of the Qinling Mountains, with an altitude of 2,217 meters. In the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, because Li Er (the famous "Laozi"), the "Keeper of the Treasury", came here to practice in seclusion, he was revered as the Supreme Lord Lao by Taoism. Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty named it "Laojun Mountain", which has been passed down to this day and has become a holy place for the mainstream Quanzhen Sect of Taoism. The big pass I bought on China-TravelNote is the cheapest on the Internet, including tickets and round trips in Zhongling and Fenglin cable cars. It turns out that the cable car is necessary for the whole journey. We played for five hours and walked more than 20,000 steps. Taking the cable car saves time and protects the knees. It takes two hours to drive from Luoyang city, and one day is enough for round trip. In the golden autumn of October, the cable car looks like an oil painting. The Ten-mile Painting Screen is indeed a scene at every step, but unfortunately we caught up with the cloudy and hazy day, so the photo quality is not good. The Taoist temple complex is magnificent, and the golden top stands on three legs. The scenic area is well managed and very clean. I heard that there are clouds and fog for 120 days a year, but unfortunately we didn't catch up. It is full of fairy air.

The natural scenery of Laojun Mountain and the Jinding Taoist Temple are very beautiful. Unfortunately, when we reached the top of the mountain, there was a lot of fog, which reduced the scenery. The Ten-Li Painting Screen is very beautiful, with a different view at every step. The Golden Summit is majestic and very recognizable. The only drawback is that you should not put Laojun Mountain and Dream Chasing Valley together, as they are not at the same level.

【Clothing Guide】: Laojun Mountain has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 12.4℃. The average daily temperature is generally 5-8℃ lower than that in Luoyang city.

In spring and summer, taking one day in mid-June as an example, the highest temperature in Luoyang is 36℃, and the highest temperature in Laojun Mountain is 30℃. In the hot summer season, you can feel cool and comfortable in the shade, and it is recommended to wear loose and breathable sportswear; in spring, it is still cold, so it is recommended to bring a thin jacket for emergency use; in autumn and winter, Laojun Mountain is cold, and there are many cold winds between the top of the mountain and the canyon. In case of rain and snow, the snow scenery on the mountain is very beautiful, but you need to pay attention to keep warm.

Although Laojun Mountain has two cable cars going up and down the mountain, there are still many steps that require walking and going up and down stairs. It is strongly recommended to wear comfortable, rainproof and non-slip sports shoes.



【Recommended tour duration】: Laojun Mountain is vast, with 16 temples built in later generations. If you want to visit it in detail, it is estimated to take 2-3 days. If you only want to check in important attractions, you can take a one-day tour by planning the route reasonably.

A real college student! I was originally going to Luoyang for an internship, so it's not a waste to go shopping on the weekend! I went to Zhongyue Songshan yesterday. I can't say it's bad. There are magnificent scenery (I won't post photos, after all, it's a little inferior to Laojun Mountain). Well, I won't say more! After all, the theme is Laojun Mountain. Oh, by the way, if I went to Taishan and Huashan before, I feel that Laojun Mountain is even better than them~ Anyway, it's right to come!

The weather was very nice these two days. It was cloudy in the morning and sunny when we arrived at the scenic spot. It can be said that the style of the painting suddenly changed. I have limited skills, equipment and ability to present what I saw. I dare say that my photos are less than half of the real scenery! The road outside the stalagmite really witnessed my weak legs! The moment I sat on the edge and held the railing and drooped my legs, I clearly felt the feeling of jumping off a building, although I didn’t move at all. This was the call of the prostate! Until I met "rock climbing", why add quotation marks, because it overturned my impression of rock climbing, this is the real rock climbing! ! ! ! Since the mobile phone can’t be taken out all the time in the schoolbag, it is of course dangerous. I didn’t take many photos. There may be no one when I went there. The ticket is only 100 yuan. I climbed for a long time, and it was worth it! I think I am brave enough, but I am still a little weak. For this project, I think 300 is not expensive! You must experience it when you go there! (Not advertising) There is also a short section of glass bridge, but I didn’t take a photo! You know what I mean!

Finally, we arrived at the Golden Temple on the top of Laojun Mountain. It was magnificent! It echoed the beautiful scenery below the mountain! You can directly see the city from the top of the mountain, which is absolutely great!



For my meal, I had boiled corn for 5 yuan and cold noodles for 10 yuan, which were very filling and ok for 5 yuan (Shaolin Temple was 10 yuan...). The specialties sold under the cable car were not expensive either, so it was nice to buy some and try them.

Oh yes, there is a 500-meter slide on the top of the mountain. It costs 20 yuan per person. You must sit there when there is no one! The speed is very fast~

In general, Laojun Mountain is more entertaining and playable than Songshan Mountain, with a better environment and less physical exertion. Children should find it quite interesting and it is not a scam.

By the way, don’t let your children do homework all the time! Take them out more often to see the beautiful mountains and rivers of the motherland! Enhance the relationship and make learning fun!

There are many better places to visit if you only look at the mountain, but it is very attractive when paired with the Golden Palace complex. If you catch up with the sea of clouds, you will feel like you are in a fairyland.

The temperature difference between the top and bottom of the mountain can be more than 10 degrees, so it is recommended to wear more clothes. The most commendable thing is that there are paid escalators in some areas, which saves a lot of unnecessary fatigue.

As Luoyang, "Wonderful Luanchuan, Different Nature" is the label of Luanchuan and it is also the best place to visit Luoyang's natural environment. Laojun Mountain is worth recommending, the view of the Golden Temple is stunning, and the view of the peak forest is also worth seeing!

It's worth a visit! Free tickets during the Spring Festival. There is snow on the mountain, but the snow on the main road has been cleared by the staff to both sides. The first cableway is 130 and the second is 80. The scenery is beautiful!

I have been to Laojun Mountain once in winter and once in summer. It feels good and is worth a visit~~

The Ten-Li Painting Screen is worth seeing, with blue sky, high mountains and fresh air.

The management level is too poor, only triple A. First, the staff at the gate seem to be farmers, without training, and can't even do basic vehicle command. During the National Day holiday, it was a mess; second, the staff in the scenic area deliberately misled tourists to participate in paid projects, such as the newly developed glass plank road; third, the staff were not patient or did not understand the explanation. There were many cable cars and it was not easy to understand. When asked, the staff said to look at the route map.

During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Gao Chu, the magistrate of Lushi County, wrote "Ode to Climbing Jingshi Mountain". In the preface, he wrote: "When I arrived in Lushi, I heard that there was a mountain in the area, towering to the sky. It was said to be the residence of Laozi, so I named it Laojun." The poet Wang Xinjian wrote a poem "Laojun Mountain", saying "There are ten thousand layers of clouds and ridges, and it is clear here in autumn. The green color hits you in the face, and the sound of the spring returns. The golden top is filled with purple air, and the stone forest is full of fairy wind. The deep ravines are all silent, and the butterflies are unknown."

The gate of the scenic spot is very far from the entrance of the cableway. I really want to complain about this. The entrance sign of the scenic spot is very far away from the ticket office of the scenic spot, and the gate of the scenic spot is also very far from the cableway. Tourists without private cars can only walk or choose the electric sightseeing car of the scenic spot at their own expense, which is very inconvenient.

After walking a short distance from the Zhongling Cableway, you will reach Zhongtianmen. There are two ways to get to Shili Huaping from Zhongtianmen, one is to take the Fenglin Cableway, and the other is to walk. We decided to climb up in the spirit of mountain climbing...

The weather was very good on the day we went there, with blue sky and white clouds all the way! We stayed on the top of the mountain for one night and saw both sunrise and sunset! The only thing we didn’t see was the sea of clouds! It was perfect! Some scenery is hard to come by, so we were pretty lucky!

The company organized an expansion training. We only spent one morning here to visit. It was too hasty and not deep enough. But the scenery was pretty good.

I went to Laojun Mountain and saw the sunrise and sea of clouds. It was worth the trip...

I got on the bus from the bus station opposite Luoyang Railway Station to Luanchuan in the morning. Because I was not in a hurry, I chose not to take the highway, which was really slow. I stopped and waited all the way and it took about four hours to get to the Laojun Mountain intersection. There happened to be a battery shuttle bus (operated by the local people nearby, 15 yuan for a round trip, with a special card for the return trip) that took me directly to the ticket gate of the scenic spot (the ticket booked online was 105 yuan, and the shuttle bus would also take guests to the ticket center to exchange for paper tickets). Online ticket booking does not include insurance. Tickets bought at the ticket office at the scenic spot gate ticket gate cost 120 yuan, and insurance was 5 yuan (optional). After entering the scenic spot gate, take the shuttle bus in the scenic area at your own expense to your respective mountaineering location.

Take the first section of the cable car up to Zhongtianmen, hike to the main peak of Funiu Mountain, and then to Jinding.

In the evening, we set up our own tents in a sheltered place next to the glass observation deck below the main peak of Funiushan Mountain to watch the sunset and sunrise...

After watching the sunrise and the sea of clouds, we went down the mountain through the fence exit next to the toilet at the nearby Taibaipo Service Area, all the way down to the Dream Chasing Valley, and walked to the gate ticket gate, which took about four and a half hours. Then we took the battery shuttle bus to the main intersection and took the bus from Luanchuan to Luoyang. It took more than four hours to get there, stopping and starting all the way. (If you are in a hurry, you should take the bus to Luoyang on the highway, which takes about three hours).

As a native, this place is really beautiful, but I still like the blue sky and white clouds here the most❤️

Locals say that the most beautiful time to visit Laojun Mountain is between late July and early August, and walking on the mountain is like walking in the clouds.

There were so many people today that the scenic spot actually jammed people in a very stuffy and humid pedestrian tunnel. I won’t say much. Looking at the pictures, I am really impressed by the arrangement of the scenic spot.

Located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, not far from the county seat. In the morning, take a bus from Luoyang Bus Station to Luanchuan. The whole journey takes about 3 hours. It takes 1.5 hours to walk from Luoyang city to the highway, and it will be faster after getting on the highway. If the weather is good, you can see Laojun Mountain a few kilometers away from Luanchuan County. You don't have to go into the city when you arrive at the county seat. Just get off at the intersection. There is no public transportation, but there are black cars at the intersection, which are dedicated to Laojun Mountain. Take a black car, it's not expensive, and it will be sent to the gate. There are 2 cable cars in the scenic area. People with poor physical strength can take the cable car to go up, and young people can climb the mountain. Among them, the lower cable car is longer, and the upper cable car is shorter. You can also take the first cable car below, which is the long cable car, and then climb the upper part of the mountain. The main scenery is at the top of the mountain. You won’t know until you go, the Ten-mile Art Gallery is like a fairyland

Arriving at the Golden Summit of Laojun Mountain, where the majestic architecture blends harmoniously with the mountain scenery, one marvels at the greatness of nature and the wisdom of mankind. One is reluctant to go down the mountain because it is so refreshing, so cool and so comfortable.

I only took a short section of the cable car and started climbing. The scenery along the way was like a painting screen! I encountered a glass plank road on the way! Finally I reached the top! The scenery on the top of the mountain is infinitely beautiful!

First of all, the ticket and cableway for three people without eating or drinking in the scenic area cost more than 1,000 yuan, not including the sightseeing bus. If you don't take the sightseeing bus, you can't play. It's too far. You don't have to climb the mountain if you walk there. It's so tiring, so you must take the sightseeing bus when you see it. It costs 10 yuan per person. It is recommended to take a taxi directly to the ticket gate of the scenic area, because it is a long way from the bus station to the ticket gate. It is recommended to take the cableway up. If you are physically fit, you can walk down. Don't overestimate your physical strength. I personally think that climbing Mount Tai and Mount Hua is not as tiring as this mountain, because it is not well developed and the route design is not good. Local places close to it may be a good place for self-driving tours, but it is not recommended for tourism. It is also quite far from Luoyang, and it takes a long time to take a fast bus.

After passing the gate of the scenic area, you can see the statue of Lao Tzu. There are roads leading to the scenic area on both sides of it. The left side leads to the Zhongling Cableway, and the right side leads to the Dream Chasing Valley.

If you want to walk, you can go up the mountain through the Dream Valley, but this route is not recommended. It is more than ten kilometers from here to the Dream Valley to "Taibai Slope", and that's not even the top of the mountain.

You can also walk up the mountain on the Zhongling Cableway. It takes about ten minutes from the Laozi Cultural Park where the sculpture is located to the Zhongling Cableway.

The Laozi sculpture seems to be called Laozi Cultural Park. It is about 1.5 kilometers away from the Zhongling Cableway. Self-driving cars can only be parked in the Zhongling Cableway parking lot. The parking fee for the scenic area seems to be ten yuan a day.

If you don't take the Fenglin Cableway, you can also climb the mountain directly from Zhongtianmen. This seems to be the hiking route chosen by most people. Take the cableway halfway, and then go from Zhongtianmen → Jiukudian → Zhuanyuntai

After exiting the Zhongling Cableway, you can also walk along the "She Shen Cliff" to the "Jiu Ku Hall", but that requires a detour, so not many people walk there.

When you come out of the Fenglin Cableway, you can see a sign that says you can go either way, but we chose to go through the tunnel on the right.

Although it is foggy, it also has a unique scenery.

After more than an hour's "long journey", we finally passed the "Taibai Slope Service Area" and arrived at the "Glass Observation Deck".

Laojun Mountain is worthy of being the signature 5A scenic spot of Luanchuan. One ticket can take you to two small scenic spots, and you can easily play in one scenic spot for three days. The three cableways on the mountain and the farmhouses at the foot of the mountain are all very reasonably set up. The roads in the scenic area are also clearly planned, and the scenery on the top of the mountain is quite good. Don't go back, just walk around in a circle. It won't be too tiring, but the mountain is more than 2,000 meters high and the temperature is relatively low, so you need to prepare long sleeves in summer.

It was all downhill along the stone steps or iron frame steps, and it was not steep at all. There was no scenery. I met more than a dozen people hiking up the mountain on the way. One buddy was so amazing. I saw him carrying his girlfriend on his back while climbing the mountain. He said he had carried her for 3 kilometers, but to be honest, his girlfriend was really beautiful😄. It was 12:47 when I went down the mountain. I walked for an hour and a half before I saw the waterfall. Then I walked down while listening to the sound of running water. Then there was a beautiful red leaf on a green cliff. Finally, I passed the gate of the Dream Chasing Valley. The gate reminded me that it was under maintenance. I just had to go 5 kilometers into the mountain. It took 19.5 RMB from Zhengzhou to Luoyang by green train. I wanted to visit Longmen Grottoes and then go to Laojun Mountain, but I didn't have enough time. Unless you are a person who particularly likes mountaineering and outdoor activities, you should try to take the Zhongling Cableway up and down, because the distance is too far. For ordinary people, whether going up or down the mountain, if you don’t take the cableway, it may require a lot of time and physical strength. Although the cableway is expensive, the Zhongling Cableway is still very cost-effective. Of course, you don’t have to take the Zhongling Cableway, you can also take the Yunjing Cableway. As for the second section of Fenglin Cableway, I found that it was a small cableway for two people before, but this time I found that the previous cableway has been discontinued and has been changed to a large cableway for six people. And I personally suggest that if you are in a hurry or have enough money or lack of physical strength, you can also take this cableway up and down the mountain. I took the cableway up and walked down, and found that the scenery from the Taoist temple group to Zhongtianmen can be said to have no special features! Basically, you can ignore it, and the most classic part of Laojun Mountain is the Ten-mile Painting Screen and the main peak of Funiushan Mountain, the glass viewing platform and the Taoist temple group.

We also strongly urge everyone to note that children under 1.4 meters tall can ride the Laojun Mountain cable car for free, which is more conscientious than the cable cars in most scenic spots across the country.

If you take the cable car up and down, generally speaking, you can visit the main scenic area of Laojun Mountain in about half a day, while the Dream Chasing Valley needs to be calculated separately. I personally feel that it is quite far to walk from the entrance of Dream Chasing Valley to Laojun Waterfall. I walked back and forth for about three hours without a big break in between. Therefore, people with average physical strength should be prepared to walk a long way when playing Dream Chasing Valley, and it is basically a mountain road. On the contrary, if you take the cable car to the main scenic spots of Laojun Mountain, most of them are flat roads, which requires less physical strength.

Accommodation problem. Luanchuan County is not far from the Laojun Mountain scenic spot, so it is more convenient to live in Luanchuan County. As for food, it is more expensive on the mountain, so you can bring your own meal.

Regarding parking fees, the parking fee in Laojun Mountain Scenic Area is 10 yuan. You can park at the cable car station or at the entrance of Dream Chasing Valley. The fee is charged only when you leave the gate of the entire scenic area after the tour, which is quite cost-effective.

Ticket issue: If you want to buy tickets online, you must do it one day in advance. You cannot buy online tickets on the day. I asked the customer service center about this. The online ticket is 108 yuan, and the official ticket is 120 yuan, so you can still save a few yuan.

Another thing to say is that the service in the scenic area is good. After we got up the mountain, the horn kept broadcasting to remind drivers that some of them had not turned off their lights, which is rare in other scenic areas.
