Luoyang is a city full of ancient charm. In addition to the well-known Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple and other scenic spots, you must visit Luoyang, another place with a strong historical charm - the Mingtang Scenic Spot in the Sui and Tang Dynasty City. Mingtang, the paradise, reproduces the place where Wu Zetian took office and handled government affairs. Although it was built on the original site in modern times, the newly built palace pagoda is magnificent and has an antique charm under the lights at night. The best experience is to climb to the top of the tower and then look out from a high place. You can probably see a unique night view if you come here at night.

In the Tiantang Mingtang, we can see the magnificent and magnificent architecture, each of which is exquisite and magnificent. There are many materials about the empress inside, which can help you understand some history after visiting. For those with children at home, you can take them to learn history happily. There are also performances of Empress Wu at a fixed time every day, and the sound and stage performances are the reproduction of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

👄The tickets for the scenic spot are not very cheap. For friends who like history, this is a good place to learn. If you just check in for the internet celebrities, you may be disappointed. Without the historical explanation, it will be boring for you.

👀Opposite the Sui and Tang City is another major attraction in Luoyang, the Yingtianmen Ruins. During this year's Peony Festival, the light show is very exciting and should not be missed.

🚲Tian Tang Ming Tang is only one bus stop away from the old city, so it is a good choice to visit the old city at night. The transportation is very convenient and can be reached by multiple buses. Friends who like environmentally friendly travel can also ride shared bicycles to visit the ancient capital of Luocheng at night.

📷The Mingtang of Heaven after dark is much more spectacular under the lights than during the day. Many friends who love photography have taken beautiful photos.

The Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park is the core area of the palace city of the Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty capitals. Like the Da Baoen Temple Heritage Park in Nanjing, it is a modern building rebuilt on the basis of archaeological sites. It uses modern sound, light, electricity and other means to show the prosperous Tang Dynasty more than 1,300 years ago.

The ticket price is 120 yuan, which is cheaper if you buy it online. The tour guide’s explanation is 100 yuan, and you can listen to free audio explanations by following the WeChat public account.

The whole scenic area consists of two parts: the Heaven and Mingtang during the Wu Zetian period. In order to highlight the atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, the interior decoration of the Heaven and Mingtang is extremely luxurious, which can be described as inhumane. It is magnificent and magnificent everywhere. It is a reconstructed building, smaller in scale than the Tang Dynasty. It is hard to imagine what it would have looked like more than 1,400 years ago. Although the ticket costs more than 100 yuan, I think it is worth it to experience the atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty up close.

The Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park is located in the "belly" of Luoyang City. The Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park is divided into four entrances: east, west, south and north. As the site of the enthronement hall of Wu Zetian, the first female emperor of China, the Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park completely preserves the imperial palace of Wu Zetian's period - Mingtang, and the tallest ancient building discovered in ancient China - the 120-meter-high Tiantang.

Mingtang and Tiantang are located in Xigong District, Luoyang City. The scenic area contains the remains of the Mingtang and Tiantang central column of the Wu Zhou period, the Xuanlang site of the Sui Dynasty, the Qianyang Palace site of the Sui Dynasty, the Xuanlang site of the Tang Dynasty, the Xuanlang site of the Song Dynasty, the Taiji Palace site of the Song Dynasty, and other sites and relics, as well as cultural relics and artworks. It is an important place for the former empress Wu Zetian to govern, worship Buddha, and live. It now belongs to the Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park and has become a must-see attraction for Luoyang tourism. The scenic area mainly includes two buildings, Mingtang and Tiantang. Mingtang is the main hall of the imperial palace where Wu Zetian ruled, also known as the "Wanxiang Palace". Tiantang is Wu Zetian's royal Buddhist hall and the tallest building in ancient Chinese history. The restored Tiantang is 88.88 meters high and Mingtang is 33.52 meters high, far less than the height of the Tiantang in the Wu Zhou period, which is about 150 meters high and Mingtang is about 86 meters high. The restored Tiantang and Mingtang are far less tall and magnificent than those in the Wu Zhou period.

Mingtang, to the layman, has three floors: upper, middle and lower. The bottom floor is a square, symbolizing the four seasons. Each of the four sides is painted a different color, representing spring, summer, autumn and winter respectively; the middle floor is a dodecagon, symbolizing the twelve hours. The top floor is a round cover surrounded by nine dragon sculptures; the top floor is a 24-gon, symbolizing the 24 solar terms. The "New Paradise" building itself is nearly 60 meters high, plus two layers of base and top, the total height is 88.88 meters. The exterior has five floors, and the interior has nine floors, alternating between light and dark, symbolizing the supreme status of the emperor. Specifically, in addition to the appearance retaining the shape of ancient buildings, the interior adopts modern architectural structure.

The magnificent, golden and purple heaven and Mingtang restored the prosperous scene of the Tang Dynasty and unveiled the long-forgotten glorious past. More than a thousand years ago, an extraordinary woman met with ministers, governed the country and worshipped Buddha here, making a significant contribution to the history books. She personally gave Luoyang a majestic name "Shendu", which has been passed down to this day.

The towering heaven and the magnificent Mingtang show the grand spirit of a generation of empresses and reproduce the solemn atmosphere of the Tongtian Empire. Standing on the top floor of the heaven, you can seem to feel the demeanor of Wu Zetian directing the country, and wish you could travel back to the Tang Dynasty to experience the peerless charm and spirit of this international metropolis under the rule of Empress Wu.

Since the ticket price was too expensive, I didn't go in to see it! I looked outside and found that it was the newly built Luoyang Sui and Tang Dynasty Ruins Park! You can climb the tower and look far away! Friends who are interested can go in and see it. I heard that it is magnificent inside! !

Entering the Mingtang, in the Daxiang Hall, the main display is some major events that took place in the Mingtang during the Wu Zhou period, recreating the supreme spirit of Empress Wu Zetian, who broke the secular world, commanded the ministers, ascended the throne, and ruled the world.

In the Hall of Political Achievements, I got a glimpse of Wu Zetian's broad-minded vision. During Wu Zetian's reign, she pioneered the "Palace Examination" system for the imperial examinations, selecting a large number of talents through the civil and military examinations. Wu Zetian personally presided over the examinations, gathering elites from all over the country in Luoyang.

When you come to the Cultural Hall, you will see the words "Emperor Wu created Chinese characters" which are particularly eye-catching. As the only orthodox female emperor in history, Wu Zetian made bold reforms in Chinese characters, adding and subtracting strokes from the previous ones. From the twenty Chinese characters she created and widely used, it is not difficult to see her talent and extraordinary wisdom. Among them, the word "日月当空" is pronounced zhao, which was used by Wu Zetian to name herself, meaning that the sun and the moon are shining on the earth.

The Mingtang City Construction Hall displays the magnificent Tongtian Pillars, which let us appreciate the luxury of the prosperous Tang Dynasty again. This scenic spot uses smart tourism experience projects such as projection dressing, arc screen movies, and AR interaction, which greatly deepened my experience. This is the first time I have visited such a scenic spot. I highly recommend it!

More than 1,300 years ago, Wu Zetian, the only empress in Chinese history, established her capital in Luoyang, which was called the Divine Capital. She built the famous Seven Heavenly Buildings on the central axis that runs through the north and south of Luoyang City during the Sui and Tang Dynasties, namely: Tianque (Yi Que), Tianjie, Tianmen (Dingding Gate), Tianjin Bridge, Tianshu, Yingtianmen, and Tiantang. It runs through Luoyang City during the Sui and Tang Dynasties from north to south and is the most magnificent central axis of the capital in ancient China. It forms a magnificent skyline and makes the three-dimensional outline and style of the palaces in Luoyang City during the Sui and Tang Dynasties even more magnificent.

The Mingtang Paradise Scenic Area in the Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park was an important place for the former Empress Wu Zetian to govern, worship Buddha, and live her life. It is the core of the "Palace City District" of the Sui and Tang Luoyang City.

Mingtang is the main hall of the Luoyang Imperial Palace during the reign of Wu Zetian in the Tang Dynasty, also known as the Wanxiang Palace. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties referred to the architectural features of the Mingtang in Luoyang, Tang Dynasty. The newly built Mingtang in the ruins park is majestic and tall, with steps on all four sides and a golden "fire-avoiding bead" on the top. Entering the Mingtang, the interior is magnificent, with the emperor's throne in the middle. This was the place where grand events were held at that time. There is another layer under the Mingtang building, in the middle of which is the protection display of the Tang Dynasty ruins. This is the center of the original foundation of the Mingtang, with a round hole in the middle. The round hole was the center point when it was built in the Tang Dynasty, and the construction dimensions were based on this. Based on the Tang Dynasty ruins, many large pillars were built in the newly built Mingtang to support the upper buildings. Several exhibition halls were built around the lower floor to show the scene of Wu Zetian holding a grand ceremony in the Mingtang. The scenic area is full of technological display methods such as AR explanations, which are full of experience and vivid and useful content.

To the north of Mingtang is Tiantang, a Buddhist pagoda that is taller than Mingtang. At night, the newly built Mingtang and Tiantang scenic areas are brightly lit, and the two buildings echo each other, forming the most beautiful night view in Luoyang.

The reliefs on the imperial road are not the usual flying dragons used in imperial households, but are replaced by a pair of phoenixes. The Mingtang was the place where Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in China 1,300 years ago, governed and lived. More of the decorations should reflect her personal unique preferences. The throne in the center was her dragon chair.

The Heaven, also known as the Tower of Tongtian, was the place where Wu Zetian worshipped Buddha. It was once the tallest building in Luoyang. After the long-awaited rain, the Mingtang Gate and the Tower of Tongtian appeared in the same frame, and they looked more solemn and beautiful under the echo of the red clouds. The night lighting of the Tower of Tongtian was golden and dazzling.

This scenic spot is worth a deep visit. I recommend everyone to take a look and feel the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.

By A Hao can't get fat |

Although it is a tourist attraction built in recent years, it is also very grand. When I went there, I only went to the Heaven, and the Mingtang was not open yet. The Heaven is magnificent. It feels great to go to the top floor and overlook the city of Luoyang.

Mingtang, the main hall of the imperial palace where Empress Wu Zetian ruled; Tiantang, the tallest building in ancient China. These two peerless buildings built by Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in China, have long been destroyed in the wars of history. But today, in Luoyang, the thousand-year-old imperial capital, two more majestic buildings have been built on the original sites of these two ancient buildings. This is the Mingtang Tiantang Scenic Area in Luoyang City of Sui and Tang Dynasties. The Sui and Tang cultural connotations are rich, and the technological interactions such as AR are also very interesting. It is worth visiting!

By Believe in miracles |

The prosperity of the Tang Dynasty in Luoyang is all sealed in this ancient and mysterious city of Luoyang in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Mingtang, a sacred palace, was the main palace of Emperor Wu and the palace in Emperor Gaozong's last wish. Mingtang was completed on the fifth day of the first month of the fourth year of Chuigong (spring of 688). Mingtang is magnificent, magnificent, towering, and has the spirit of swallowing the sky and spitting out the earth and encompassing everything. Wu Zetian therefore gave Mingtang a very grand and solemn name - Wanxiang Palace. When you step into heaven, the eternal belief in Buddhism brings you a kind of piety. The exterior is solemn and magnificent, and the interior is magnificent, highlighting the magnificent scenery of Luoyang as the imperial capital of China and the city of the world in the past.

The air here is full of the flavor of allusions and legends that have disappeared from the long river of history. When you are in it and walking under the towering city walls, you will inadvertently have a strange sense of intersection with the ancient and profound history.

In the Achievements Hall on the first floor of Mingtang, pick up your phone and use AR software to scan the portraits on the wall. Di Renjie and other civil and military officials will "stand up" one by one on the phone screen, raising their hands to bow or shaking their sleeves, and the portraits will immediately have "soul".

This technology mainly superimposes the virtual world on the real world on the screen and interacts with it. Isn't this what we young people often call "breaking the dimensional wall" technology? This 666, the sensory experience beyond reality is very wonderful. Recommended to play with big items! Don't think the ticket is expensive, it seems to be reasonable! I like that AR very much! Standing in heaven and overlooking Luoyang City, it feels great!

By Ferryman. |

The two magnificent buildings are all modern buildings, recreating the Mingtang and Tiantang of the past. Both were built on the original site. Mingtang still has some historical content, but Tiantang is just displaying artworks in the building, and many of them are modern works. You can overlook the whole picture of Luoyang when you climb to the top, but what is the whole picture of Luoyang? The most deceptive part is that there is a small ticket inside. There is a high altar at the entrance of Mingtang, on which there is Wu Zetian's throne. There are performances at regular intervals, but this performance is charged separately, 30 yuan per person, and the ticket itself is 120 yuan, which is very expensive (Longmen is only 100 yuan). I personally think it is not worth it.

The scenic area has a curved screen cinema that plays "The Prosperous Capital of Gods", showing the splendor of the capital Luoyang. The holographic projection technology shows the four seasons of Mingtang Paradise, and the three-dimensional statue 3D technology restores the costumes of the Tang Dynasty.

The AR interactive experience project uses cutting-edge technology to create magical scenes and visual wonders. Great! I highly recommend everyone to come and play!

Mingtang-Heaven Scenic Area (Recommendation: ☆, Quietness: ★★) Tickets are 120 yuan. If you don't have a lot of time, money is in your pocket, or you have an obsession with this place, I don't recommend it. We went there because there was still an hour or two before dinner time, and my father was very interested in the history of Xue Huaiyi, Wu Zetian's first lover, who burned the Mingtang he built for Wu Zetian after he fell out of favor. So everyone knows that the Mingtang was burned down shortly after it was built, and the current one was newly built in recent years. It was built in a magnificent and magnificent manner. It introduces the scale and form of the Mingtang in various dynasties in China. Take the free elevator to the top of the tower to overlook the whole view of Luoyang. There are also two plump staff members in Tang suits.

By Happy and joyful things |

Take advantage of the National Day to come to Luoyang, the Tiantang Mingtang is very fun, the ticket is absolutely worth it! I saw that Luoyang can enter by swiping the annual ticket, a little envious!

The AR experience inside is super fun. When I came to the Wu Zetian Character Creation Exhibition Area, I picked up my phone and scanned the three-dimensional text. The mascot "Wu Zhaozhao" suddenly appeared on the screen and told the story of the empress and the Mingtang. This mascot is a "virtual guide" of the scenic spot and is very dedicated.

There are many AR characters in the scenic area that are vivid, interesting, and humorous. It is super exciting to talk to Buddha! The whole experience is full of fun. I walked around for a long time and still felt unsatisfied!!!

This is an attraction that many people say is not worth visiting, but in fact you can buy tickets for it at a cheap price with the help of the Internet. After looking around, I feel that it is definitely not worth visiting if you only visit during the day, but it is worth the price if you come at night even if you don't watch the show.

Although it is almost a completely newly built tourist attraction, it is still extremely luxurious with its golden and colorful appearance. With bright red and gold covering it, who would dare to say it does not look good?

The Sui and Tang Luoyang City Scenic Area is located in the main urban area of Luoyang, but it is very open. It happened to be blue sky and white clouds these two days, which felt great. I took a lot of photos. After entering the Mingtang, it was really magnificent and magnificent. It is hard to describe its splendor. Although this scenic area is a historical and cultural scenic area, it has many technological facilities that can be experienced interactively, such as answering questions in the civil service examination, projecting servants changing clothes, etc., and the model of the changes in the Mingtang since ancient times is quite exquisite. The paradise was mainly used for worshiping Buddha in the Wu Zhou Dynasty. The big Buddha inside is also very exquisite. Standing on the corridor on the top floor of the paradise, you can overlook the nearby buildings with a good view.

After staying in Guanlin for about two hours, we headed to the Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park, which is about a 30-minute drive away. It is located in the main urban area of Luoyang. The surrounding area is bustling and bustling, with constant traffic, but the scenic area is relatively quiet and spacious. The first thing that catches your eye is the towering Tiantang, which is recorded as the place where Empress Wu Zetian worshipped Buddha, and the lower Mingtang located next to it is where she governed. Entering the Mingtang, the magnificent hall is very impressive. In addition, the cultural displays of the evolution of Mingtang in successive dynasties, Emperor Wu's court, clothing and makeup, and Emperor Wu's creation of characters are also worth the trip.

Because my friend's house is near the Luoyang City of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, I was attracted by the night view the night before, so I came here early in the morning. Although the Mingtang looks simple on the outside, it is extremely luxurious inside. Although it is a reconstruction, you can see the shadow of the prosperity of Luoyang City during the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. My friend said that it was not restored according to 1:1. The real Mingtang in history seems to be as high as the restored heaven. I feel shocked when I think about it. In addition to the building itself, there are many exhibition areas full of technology, which is quite interesting.

I came to Luoyang for work, and took some time out in the evening to visit the Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park, which has two main buildings, Mingtang and Tiantang. The night view is beautiful and can be seen from a distance.

The interior is magnificent and we were lucky enough to catch the last show.

In addition to the shock brought by the building's own structure and exquisite carvings, Wu Zetian culture is fully reflected here. The historical culture of Empress Wu's creation of characters and Mingtang receiving the emperor are all displayed in different forms, which feels great.

By On the Road |

In addition to visiting Longmen and White Horse Temple in Luoyang, the third attraction I recommend is the Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park, which is often called Tiantang and Mingtang by Luoyang people. Visiting the Mingtang in this scenic area gives people a feeling of the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. It is magnificently decorated and gives a detailed introduction to the achievements of Wu Zetian during her reign. Tiantang is the tallest building nearby, and you can enjoy the scenery of Luoyang from the top.

By 檡~ |

It is a modern restored scenic spot with a good overall plan. The night view is very beautiful, and there are regular performances in the Tiantang Mingtang.

The ticket price is a bit expensive... It hurts...

By Puff God |

Mingtang is one of its names, but it actually has another more majestic name: "Wanxiang Temple". Its influence is far-reaching, and the later Beijing Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests was built based on it.

According to the "Zizhi Tongjian", the Mingtang has three floors. The bottom floor is square, with four sides painted in different colors, representing the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. The middle floor has twelve sides, representing the twelve hours of the day. The top floor is circular, surrounded by nine dragon sculptures. In the middle is a giant wooden pillar with a circumference of about 15 meters, which runs through the top and bottom, so it is also called the Wanxiang Palace. Unfortunately, the Mingtang rebuilt now is not built according to the specifications recorded, and it looks a bit stingy.

By Ms. Be happy |

The outer square is free, and many citizens come here to enjoy the cool air at night, which is very pleasant~

By The journey of the tube |

The site was found in archaeological discoveries after the 1970s and was subsequently rebuilt on the basis of the site. This is also the only completely rebuilt palace in Luoyang. Director Tsui Hark has two famous movies, Detective Dee: The Mystery of the Phantom Flame and Detective Dee: Rise of the Mystery Dragon King, both of which are based on this place.

Tips: The retail price is 120 yuan, and you can buy it in a group. It is recommended to go in the afternoon or evening for indoor tours.

I am not a person who likes to write reviews, but I really want to write about my feelings about this place. I hope everyone can have a good time. Anyway, I am a little unhappy and feel that it is not worth the ticket price.

The Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park is near Lijing Gate and not too far from the Longmen Grottoes.

The ticket to Longmen Grottoes is 100 yuan, and 50 yuan with a student ID. It is worth the money to experience the eternal wonders.

The ticket for the Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park is 120 yuan, and 60 yuan with a student ID. There are only two buildings, the Heaven and the Mingtang. Picture 1 is the Heaven. There are 9 floors in total. Picture 2 is the Mingtang, which has two floors and is a modern building built on the basis of the ruins. I feel that there is not much point in spending money. Many things in it can be seen in history books or Shaanxi History Museum, and the rest are commercial things.

Once you enter, you will feel that it is very prosperous, and there are performances inside, but it is a rip-off. The performance schedule is shown in Figure 8. You will find that the performances are not in the same place. At first, it is in Mingtang, then in the south staircase of Mingtang (that is, outside Mingtang), and then on the 7th floor of Tiantang, which is a place selling tea. You will feel that it is okay, but here comes the rip-off. The performance time is scattered, and the location is also scattered. If you want to leave Mingtang to go to Tiantang to watch a performance, and then you want to go back to Mingtang to watch the next performance, sorry, you can only enter and exit once. ………

I just want to ask you if you are cheating or not! ! ! !

So if you really want to go in and see it, I recommend you go after 9:30, watch the second show, then visit the Mingtang, watch the show in the Mingtang, and stay until the 2 o'clock show in the afternoon, because the staff said the 2 o'clock show is the most exciting show. Then visit the Heaven and watch the show. If you can stay there, watch all the shows, otherwise it's really hard to spend 120 yuan on the ticket.

By Quiet Dawn |

It is a newly built building on the site of the original capital of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, located at the intersection of Zhongzhou Middle Road and Dingding Road in the old city of Luoyang. This attraction was made popular by the Running Man. The ticket costs 120 yuan, which is a bit of a rip-off. The interior is decorated magnificently, and many of the experience projects are paid, and most of the things inside are imitations. You need to wear shoe covers to enter the paradise, which I don’t think is very interesting. If you have time, you can buy a ticket to go in and take a look. If you are short of time, you can just take a photo outside.

This is a rip-off attraction. First of all, it is full of renovated buildings. Everything inside is a replica. The ticket is 120 yuan per person, and you can only see the inside. It costs 30 yuan to go on stage. If you want to wear their costumes, it costs 80 yuan. This is Mingtang, and heaven is even worse. You have to wear shoe covers to enter. In fact, this is not a big problem, but after entering, it is full of shopping things. Damn~ Why wear shoe covers? Anyway, it is a rip-off, so don't go.

I went there during the Qingming Festival holiday, so there were quite a few people there, but the flowers were really beautiful, with thousands of peonies in all kinds of colors.

There are palace ruins from the Sui, Tang and Song dynasties.

This palace is particularly magnificent, and "Detective Dee: The Mystery of the Phantom Flame" was filmed here

When I came to the bottom of the palace, there were many interactive games and historical introductions, as well as displays of ruins. After playing around, I returned to the palace to watch the court performance. I regretted not asking for an explanation, as many things were not expressed in historical materials.

I saw comments saying it was a newly built place and the tickets were expensive, so I didn't expect it to be very good, but I was actually pleasantly surprised.

Half price during the Spring Festival, 54 yuan for tickets online. The underground ruins of Mingtang and the events during the Wu Zetian period are well documented, with a complete and orderly structure and both historical and literary value. The heavens look layer by layer, although not outstanding, but acceptable, clean and tidy, elegant worship of Buddha. At 6:30, the lights were turned on and the night view was very good.

Overall, the historical restoration of the Wu Zhao period is very good, and you can take a comprehensive look at it to improve your knowledge structure.

I don't know what it would be like to go there during the day! The night view is pretty good, I think it would be even better from the air! I didn't buy a ticket to go in!

It is a very large garden, but to be honest, it is purely artificial, not delicate enough, large and empty.

Mingtang Tiantang Scenic Area is an important place for Empress Wu Zetian to govern, worship Buddha and live. In the vast ruins of Luoyang City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Mingtang and Tiantang are also known as the core of the "Palace District". This is the political power center of Empress Wu Zetian in Luoyang, the capital of the gods. The scenic area mainly includes two buildings, Mingtang and Tiantang. Mingtang is the main hall of the imperial palace where Wu Zetian ruled, also known as the "Wanxiang Palace", and Tiantang is Wu Zetian's royal Buddhist hall, also known as the "Tongtian Pagoda", which is the tallest building in ancient Chinese history.

I must be crazy to waste my last day by not going to Shaolin Temple or White Horse Temple. Don't go to the running man who is more expensive than Longmen Grottoes to create commercial fake attractions. P.S. I met the official scammer calligrapher selling calligraphy in Changsha Fire Palace again here. Haha

The ruins park is just across the street from the hotel where I stayed. The hotel guard enthusiastically told us that the park charges 120 yuan per person during the day! However, it is free to enter after 18:00, but you definitely can't go up to the city tower; and the lights are on from 20:00 to 21:00 every day, and the appearance is still very beautiful. However, these buildings are rebuilt later, and it's really not worth it for you to spend so much money to enter during the day.

We crossed the road with great gratitude and prepared to take bus No. 22 to Lijing Gate of Luoyang Old Street. It was around 7pm and the ruins park was lit up ahead of time! !

Let’s go in and take two night view photos (I didn’t even bring a SLR camera)

The prototype of Di Renjie's Empire of Heaven, Tiantang and Mingtang, is a tourist attraction rebuilt on the ruins. The ticket price is 120, which is a bit expensive. If you have enough time, you can visit it.

A good place to introduce the Wu Zhou Dynasty, fully displaying the royal atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

Welcome to visit my home: http://www.mafengwo.cn/u/shushengyiqi.html

The Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park is located at the intersection of Zhongzhou Middle Road and Dingding Road in the old city of Luoyang. It is a national large heritage protection demonstration project and a key project. It was once the site of the palace district of the capital of the Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty. The main buildings inside are Mingtang and Tiantang built by Wu Zetian, also known as the Wanxiang Temple and Tongtian Pagoda. The prototype of Tongtian Pagoda in the movie "Detective Dee: The Mystery of the Phantom Flame" is Tiantang.

The main purpose is to see the night view. If you don't enter the building, there is no charge for the scenic spot.

By Bulan Residence |

I took a few photos in the car as I passed by, but did not enter the park. I heard that the ticket cost more than 100 yuan. The building of Tiantang Mingtang also looked newly built, but there were still many tourists visiting during the flower show.

By Bubbles |

The newly renovated Heaven and Mingtang are very conspicuous. They start to light up in the evening, and it looks brilliant. I didn't go in to see it, but I checked other guides and they said that it was to reproduce the taste of Empress Wu Zetian, and the interior is extremely luxurious. I think it's nice to pass by and take a look. The ticket price is 120, some performances are free, and some are charged. This ticket price is also quite Wu Zetian.

Although it is a new building, you can learn a lot about the history of Luoyang City and see the foundation of the Mingtang from the Wu Zetian period.

By Taomaomao |

Although it is called a ruin, there is basically nothing left. Only a large pit has been preserved, covered with glass floor for tourists to watch. The current Mingtang and Paradise scenic areas were built later. Obviously, compared with the grottoes, peonies and other Luoyang features, it is not very eye-catching, but you can still go and have a look at it at night. In particular, the content in Paradise is quite rich and interesting. You can learn a lot of knowledge about the Tang Dynasty while watching.

The Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park (Mingtang Scenic Area) is located west of the old city of Luoyang and north of Zhongzhou Road. Most of the city buses pass by here. This was the core area of the palace city of Luoyang City during the Sui, Tang and Northern Song dynasties. The entire park mainly displays the ruins of the Daye Hall of the Sui Dynasty, the Mingtang Heaven of the Tang Dynasty, and the Taiji Hall of the Song Dynasty. As a newly built scenic spot, it does look a bit high-end from the outside, but the ticket price of 120 yuan/person (105 yuan/person for online purchase) feels too low for just seeing the ruins of the three periods. It is not recommended to go unless you have a lot of money and are willful.

My good friend brought us here. The site is divided into the Heaven and Mingtang. We went there late at night and only visited the Mingtang. According to my friend, the fun things are all in the Mingtang. There is nothing in the Heaven. The Mingtang is magnificent, and the gold lacquer under the reflection of the light shows the royal style.

By Shaoan's Flower Chronicle |

Waiting for the lights to come on, it feels like dreaming back to the Tang Dynasty.

By Blurred eyes |

The newly developed scenic area is magnificent and worth a visit.

The replica looks very new. I don't know if it was built according to the ancient method. I don't know why it is necessary to build it.

The [Tian Tang Ming Tang] scenic area is a new palace built on the original site in 2013. [Ming Tang] is the main palace of her ruling palace, known as the "Wan Xiang Shen Gong"; [Tian Tang] is her royal Buddhist hall, the tallest building in ancient Chinese history.

It is a new building, so some things are not original. Ticket price is 120 yuan per person.

The architectural style is magnificent, bright and elegant, just like the prosperous Tang Dynasty in dreams.

The palace of Emperor Wu and the pagoda full of conspiracy in Andy Lau's version of "Detective Di Renjie" are based on this. It is also the filming location of the first episode of the third season of "Running Man"~~

The scenic area has fixed performances every day: Emperor Wu's Court, Pilgrimage of All Nations, etc., which allow visitors to experience the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty in person. Each performance is very short, about 10 minutes. Basically, it is in the form of spectators, so everyone should pay attention to the time and don't miss it~

This park was built in imitation of the architectural style of the Wu Zetian period. The ticket price is a bit expensive. It looks like a large park from the Sui and Tang dynasties.

The tickets are very expensive, not worth buying! You can go directly into the square gate, but I didn't know that at the time, I thought I had to buy a ticket to enter. In fact, the tickets are only checked at the gates of Mingtang and Babel. Mingtang is OK, there are many things on display; Babel is nothing to see, there are very few things. Anyway, I feel a bit of a rip-off after coming out, so you can just take some photos of the night view.

By love far away |

I didn't go in to see it. The tickets are quite expensive. I heard there are only two floors.

By June is not over |

The weather was good that day, the sky was blue, and my mood was beautiful. The ticket price is a bit expensive, but I felt it was worth it after entering. You need to put on the shoe covers they provide before entering the hall. The hall is magnificent and even spotless. The retro patterns are more exquisite and shining against the backdrop of modern lamps. Costume photography services are provided for a fee, and you can sit on the throne of Wu Zetian. Tourists are still too restrained and sit there quietly. At least they should be as domineering as Mi Yue. If anyone has the opportunity to take such a photo, please send it to me! ! There are ancient pillar ruins on the lower level of the Mingtang, and the glass floor is a bit scary, haha

By Shao Wei |

An absolute surprise, the whole building is very gorgeous, and every detail is in place! The top floor of Paradise overlooks the panoramic view of Luoyang.

By Beard. |

There are many performances and the facilities are very good. It is worth watching. But I suggest going there in the evening. The night view is very beautiful. In this case, you need to give up some performances. I went there at 7 pm and watched two performances. There were not many actors but they were good. There was also interaction, and you could wear the clothes worn by the running man.

Luoyang Tiantang Mingtang is a local attraction created by the local government of Luoyang. The most popular reality show "Run, Brothers" was filmed in Tiantang Mingtang. There are performances at a fixed time every day. This was the palace of Wu Zetian in the past. Overall, it is pretty good, and the night view is also very beautiful. Moreover, this attraction is in the old city, very close to Lijing Gate and Jiulong Ding. After playing during the day, you can go to Lijing Gate to eat snacks.

By Rabbit |

This place is where the running man has been. It is very large and has a good history. It is a good place for popular science.

By Lin Ling |

Mingtang is really magnificent, you can feel it; the main thing about heaven is to go to the ninth floor to overlook Luoyang City, and there is nothing to see on the remaining floors. Buying tickets online is 105 yuan/person, which is slightly cheaper. There are some performances (such as officials attending court, receiving foreign envoys, etc.), you can watch and appreciate the majesty of the Tang Dynasty.

By Cloud |

Mingtang and Tiantang were newly built on the original site during the Wu Zetian era. They are very spectacular and tasteful, and you can learn many stories about Wu Zetian.

The ticket to Mingtang Paradise is very expensive, but it feels like a luxurious building that is just for show. If you really want to go, it is recommended to go during the day. We went late, some places were not open, and we only watched one performance. It is still necessary to see the night view before leaving at night. The night view is good, and we also met the bride and groom who were taking wedding photos.

A very beautiful place, with beautiful peonies and many tourists

The ruins of Luoyang City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties is actually the Paradise Mingtang Scenic Area. People here mainly come to see Paradise and Mingtang, because Wu Zetian was doing something in Paradise so they gave her a rest. In addition, Di Renjie was filming a movie here, and Running Man was recording a show here, which greatly increased the popularity of this place.

If you don't go into the garden, I suggest you come to see the night view. This is definitely the most beautiful night view I have seen in Luoyang. You need to quietly appreciate it, its lights, its quietness, and its beauty. There is a square at the entrance, where many locals dance square dances, and some are blowing the wind at the door. It is still quite cool at night.

By the way, the wall is very low, so don't try to jump in. We were planning to sit on it to rest for a while, but the staff shone a flashlight on us, thinking we were going to jump in. The management is very strict. Another friend went into the Mingtang, and he said it was pretty good inside. You can go in and take a look. The tickets seem to be quite expensive. I personally think it's better to come here at night to enjoy the night view, and you don't need to go in to see it. After all, the night view is so beautiful. There are also many buses, and the transportation is very convenient.

The Tiantang Mingtang Scenic Area is actually the ruins of Luoyang City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. People come here mainly to see Tiantang and Mingtang, because Wu Zetian was a priest in Tiantang and so on, and Di Renjie filmed a movie here, and Running Man recorded a show here, which greatly increased the popularity of this place.

Magnificent, you can feel the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty

By Ideal morning |

The night view of Mingtang is very beautiful at night, which attracted me. However, the scenic spot is not worth the ticket price. Generally, museums are free, but the ticket package of Mingtang is 120. When you enter, it is all golden and brilliant, which is for tourists to take pictures. It reminds me of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou, which is a rip-off. Fortunately, there is a museum on the underground floor, which introduces the overview of the Mingtang ruins. It is open until 9:30 in the evening, and the service is also very good.
