After lunch, we drove all the way on the highway and arrived at the town in the center of Yuntaishan Scenic Area at around 3 pm. There are many places to eat and stay in the town, with various grades and very affordable prices. When we arrived at the scenic area, we checked into the booked homestay first, packed our luggage and quickly went to the service center to buy tickets, which cost more than 100 yuan, valid for two days, including the cost of transportation to the scenic area.

Yuntaishan Scenic Area is one of the best managed scenic spots I have ever seen.

Each restroom in the scenic area has air conditioning, which is basically half-opened. There is never a shortage of hand sanitizer. The cleaning of the scenic area is very good, the cleaners are very dedicated, and the leaves and garbage are cleaned in time. On the afternoon of the first day we arrived, we took a car to Hongshi Gorge. The one-way road did not go back. We entered Zifang Lake from Hongshi Gorge and visited Zifang Lake by the way. The next morning, we took a car to Zhuyu Peak. On the way, we passed Diecai Cave. Diecai Cave was a cave with a 180-degree turn dug in the mountain for people to go up and down the mountain. There were 14 caves in total, and the tour bus did not stop. Zhuyu Peak is more than 1,000 meters above sea level, and the scenery is beautiful. Unfortunately, it was foggy that day, and only the sea of clouds could be seen. And there are a lot of steps, more than 2,000 steps, and it is very tiring to climb. In the afternoon, we went to Quanpu Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, and Macaque Valley. These three are actually a scenic spot, and you have to check your tickets to enter the park at one time. After seeing these three, we set off to leave Yuntaishan.

Hongshi Gorge Scenic Area is a combination of beauty, seclusion, majesty and danger, with springs, waterfalls, streams and pools in one valley. It is known as the "Bonsai Gorge". It can indeed be called "a reduced landscape world and an enlarged artistic bonsai". There are also red rock cliffs, which are rare Danxia landform canyon landscapes in northern China.

At the end of September 2014, we visited Yuntaishan Scenic Area and felt a stunning beauty. The scenic area is very mature and well managed, providing tourists with a very good travel experience.

When we went there, the weather was just right, the autumn wind was pleasant, white clouds were floating leisurely in the sky, and the air was filled with the sweet smell of spring water, which was particularly fresh. The entire Yuntai Mountain is full of mountains and ridges, and the trees are quiet and tall. There are springs, pools, and waterfalls appearing alternately. The beauty of the springs, the depth of the pools, and the rapidity of the waterfalls make the entire Yuntai Mountain lively.

Yuntaishan, located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, is a scenic spot that is one of the first world geological parks, a national macaque nature reserve, and one of the first national 5A-level tourist attractions.

Yuntaishan is famous for its amazing mountains and waters, majestic peaks and secluded gorges, and has a variety of scenery. The main peak of Yuntaishan is Zhuyu Peak, which is 1,297.6 meters above sea level. The scenic area includes eight major scenic spots: Hongshi Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, Zhuyu Peak, Diecai Cave, Macaque Valley, Zifang Lake, and Wanshan Temple.

The ticket price for Yuntaishan 5A scenic spot is 120 yuan, and the scenic shuttle bus is 60 yuan (must be purchased), with a total ticket price of 180 yuan. Yuntaishan is one of the first world geological parks in the world, and it is also the only scenic spot in Henan Province that integrates seven national-level scenic spots: national key scenic spots, national AAAAA-level scenic spots, national civilized scenic tourist areas, national forest parks, national water conservancy scenic spots, and national macaque nature reserves. The main attractions are: Hongshi Gorge, Macaque Valley, Quanpu Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, and Zhuyu Peak.

It is recommended that the driver of the car Yu H09950D go to the parking point on the shore and ask if anyone has gotten off. Don't just run down without stopping. Your one, get off at the next stop. How far do others have to walk?

Like Qiao Family Courtyard, which was notified, although it has temporarily retained 5a, it needs to be rectified. Well, there are still some problems.

1. Tickets are still relatively expensive.

2. There is a second ticket check to enter the scenic area and there is a long queue there. Well, there are 4 gates but only three were opened, and then the fourth was opened. The tourists had a very bad experience waiting in that long queue.

3. The water volume is very small and the scenery is 50% off.

4. The performance in Macaque Valley is set up on the mountain, and you have to climb a lot of mountain roads. It is actually a commercial routine. Because when you climb up the mountain, you can see that there is no special venue or venue for everyone to watch. It is just like a roadside circus. As a result, a large number of tourists gather there, but many tourists still cannot see the performance. If you don’t have a special venue and set it up so far, it is actually to bring up the business along the way. Many tourists directly climbed on the fence, or children rode on the adult street to watch, which is actually a safety hazard. There is no safety management personnel or other staff to remind everyone to be safe.

It was raining when I went there, so I bought a disposable raincoat for 10 yuan.

The water of the waterfall is larger on rainy days, and the scenery is quite good

The most distinctive feature is that the stone is red. There are mountains, water and waterfalls.

Located at the junction of Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province and Lingchuan County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, the scenic area covers an area of 280 square kilometers, including Hongshi Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, Qinglong Gorge, Fenglin Gorge, Zifang Lake, Zhuyu Peak, Macaque Valley, Diecai Cave, Baijiayan and other major attractions. The park has a complex terrain, and the climate varies with the altitude and the shape of the mountain, with obvious differences between the upper and lower parts. The original secondary forest covers the entire mountain, with more than 500 kinds of trees and exotic flowers and plants. The main peak of Yuntai Mountain, Zhuyu Peak, is 1,308 meters above sea level. The Yuntai Tianpu Waterfall, with a drop of 314 meters, is at the end of the Quanpu Gorge in the scenic area. It is one of the waterfalls with the largest drop found in China. There are rich geological relics in the park. Over the past 3 billion years, the Archean, Proterozoic, Paleozoic and Cenozoic strata have been formed. Multiple tectonic movements, especially the strong uplift of the neotectonic movement and the deep incision of water erosion over the past 23 million years, have created the canyon groups with the two cliffs of Yuntai Mountain facing each other and various dynamic waterfalls, springs, streams and pools, which together constitute the vast and mysterious "Yuntai landform" landscape.

The recommended order is Tanpu Gorge, Hongshi Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, Zhuyu Peak, and Glass Plank Road.

In May, there is less water in Quanpu Gorge, which is mainly concentrated in the deep part of the scenic area. The number of waterfalls and water quality are not as good as those in Tanpu Gorge. If you have enough time, you can go for a walk.

The view from the top of Zhuyu Peak is very wide, and it would be nice to watch the sunrise and sunset if possible. You would have to bring your own tent or stay at Zhuyu Villa at the entrance of the Zhuyu Peak parking lot.

One of the most famous mountains in Henan, I personally think Hongshixia is really beautiful, the others are just so-so. The transportation is quite convenient, there are buses to Jiaozuo, Xiuwu and Zhengzhou. The most convenient is to take the urban rail to Xiuwu, there are buses when you get out, and they are based on the urban rail.

The canyon scenery is nice, but not too special. If you haven't been there, you can go there.

The ticket is for two days, so you can continue playing the next day, but there are too many people. The scenery is beautiful.

If you only want to go to Hongshixia and Xiaojiuzhaigou, it is recommended to navigate to the parking spot of the shore service area, where there are also many accommodation farmhouses and restaurants. At first, I didn't know to navigate directly to Yuntaishan parking lot, which is closer to Baijiayan. People nearby said that the internal shuttle bus is a bit far. Hongshixia is still worth going.

My favorite is Hongshi Gorge, also known as Wenpan Valley. The entire canyon is made up of red rocks and cliffs. It is a Danxia landform in the north.

There are many scenic spots in the scenic area. If you want to visit all of them, you need to stay there for a day. In one day, you can only visit some of the more famous places, such as Hongshi Gorge, Fenglin Gorge, Zhuyu Peak, etc.

In September 2018, the ticket price was reduced from ¥150 to ¥120 per person.

In order to prevent scalpers, Yuntaishan requires both tickets and faces to be verified. When buying a ticket, you need to scan your face at the ticket checker next to it. When you swipe your ticket to enter the scenic area, facial recognition will also appear. The main entrance ticket includes three major scenic spots: Hongshi Gorge, Xiaozhaigou (Quanpu Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, Macaque Valley), and Zhuyu Peak. Each scenic spot needs to be connected by a scenic bus due to its different location. The bus ticket is 60 yuan per ticket and should be purchased together with the ticket. The ticket is valid for three days, but you can only enter each scenic spot once! When I first saw Yuntai, I was separated by a sea of people. I spent all my good time queuing, and only took a few photos when the sun went down. When I decided to leave, the mountain was already dark, and I went home, full of disappointment. Xiaozhaigou. There are very few people, and the green mountains and clear waters are presented one by one, what a surprise

The scenery in the Macaque Valley is interesting, but the monkeys are boring. There are waterfalls everywhere. This is really a waterfall town. For a while, there were only birds singing and gurgling water in the mountains. It was so rare! The reason why the monkeys are boring is that they have lost their freedom in the human enclosure: the disobedient ones are sent to the education room at the foot of the mountain for taming; the well-behaved ones are sent to the middle of the mountain to be the performing monkeys.

The Water Curtain Waterfall forms the Fountain of Youth. Many people come here with empty bottles to get pure mineral water. I have to say that Yuntaishan is really a mature scenic spot. The safety measures are in place. You can see professional lifebuoys next to each slightly deeper pool. The prevention of falling rocks has also been done in a practical way, and iron sheds have been built in dangerous places. It is much more practical than the "warm reminder, there are falling rocks here" in other scenic spots. Favorability plus 1. The three scenic spots in Xiaozhaigou are in a valley at a certain altitude, and there are few places where the sun can shine in the morning. Although the scenery is amazing, it still lacks a bit of wildness due to the lack of sunlight, which is a bit regrettable~

In 2001, I joined the outdoor team's Yuntaishan Guoliang Village route. The Yuntaishan Scenic Area has beautiful scenery, but the service facilities need to be improved.

It was a place that once set the record for the highest number of tourists in a single day in national scenic spots. It has typical landscapes of the southern Taihang Mountains, with water and greenery. It combines the beauty and tranquility of the southern mountains with the grandeur and magnificence of the northern mountains. The management is relatively standardized, one ticket can be used for multiple days, and shuttle buses are used to pick up tourists within the scenic area.

Yuntaishan has become a business card of Henan. If you come to Henan, go and see it when you have time.

The scenery is very good, the altitude is not high, the road is gentle, but the mountain feels very high. It is recommended to play for 2 days. There are pictures of the route. The first day is suitable for children to play. Bring fishing nets and water guns. You can play in the water. The water is very cold, be careful to catch a cold. The second day will be more tiring. If you don't play the glass plank road, don't go in that direction. The two attractions are not in the same direction.

1. You must stay at the shore service area. Because the shore service area is in the center of the entire Yuntaishan Scenic Area, it is very close to each specific scenic spot. There are also many places to eat in the service area at night, and there are many options.

2. You must go to Hongshi Gorge, because the whole gorge is the core scenic spot of Yuntai Mountain and the most valuable place to visit. But you must pay attention: either go early or go late. Otherwise, there will be too many people. If there are too many people, everyone will line up, and it will not be good to take pictures. Overall, Hongshi Gorge is still very beautiful, and it is a rare canyon wonder in the north. The red canyon and the green pool can only be described in one word: beautiful.

3. I can never remember which one is Quanpu Gorge or Tanpu Gorge, but one of them has a big waterfall. I suggest you go there in July and August when the water flow is strong and you can see the big waterfall. Otherwise, you can only go there from a long distance and see nothing, as others in the travel notes said. By the way, the one with a shuttle bus is the big waterfall. I have to say that the shuttle bus is really a rip-off. It is said to be 1km, but in fact it is only about 700 to 800 meters, and you still have to walk the remaining two kilometers. If this attraction is the last place you go in a day, it is indeed a bit far. But - it is especially beautiful near the waterfall. Especially when there are few people, this is the best part of my trip to Yuntaishan this time, maybe because there are fewer people. In fact, Hongshi Gorge is more beautiful, but with too many people, it is not interesting anymore...

Another canyon full of small waterfalls is also nice along the way, with spring water for drinking.

4. Zhuyu Peak. Friends who like to climb mountains should go and have a look. Although the mountain is very low. Because the bus basically took us to the top of the mountain. And I must talk about the glass plank road, which is really a rip-off. 10 yuan, not even a pair of shoe covers. It's a very short section of the glass plank road, not scary at all. It's really boring.

5. Wanshan Temple, didn’t go. I guess it’s not interesting.

It is best to go there after a heavy rain, when there is a lot of water and a big waterfall.

These five or six service areas are on a line. The shore service area should be the largest, most prosperous and closest to the scenic area. The Baijiayan service area is the farthest and is also the terminus of bus line 3.

Yuntaishan is worthy of being a national geological park. The canyon is very beautiful and has many wonders. The stone walls on both sides are covered with sunset glow, and the red color spreads throughout the canyon.

Yuntai Mountain is so high! The mountain shape is so beautiful! This place overturned my impression of the northern landscape. I thought there were no green mountains and clear waters in the north. But after the rain, the scenery of Yuntai Mountain is not inferior to anywhere else.

I went there by myself and played almost everything in two days. The most unmissable one is Hongshi Gorge, which has the most people. The others are just so-so.

On the first day, I took the west route and went to Hongshi Gorge first. It was very beautiful and deep. Then I went up a dam and saw Zifang Lake. I took a car to Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge and Macaque Valley. These three places are actually three ravines. I felt cheated after going to all of them. There is still something to see in the middle Tanpu Gorge, and the water is very clear. I remember there was a straight road going up, which was built on the cliff, but it was not long. Quanpu Gorge was a complete lie. In the end, Yuntai Tianpu didn't exist. There was only a mountain wall without water. According to the cleaning staff, we could see it when it rained heavily. I was also drunk. Finally, I went to Wanshan Temple. The newly built temple was not interesting. There were not many people and few people burning incense. It was quite good to stay in the shore service area for one night.

On the second day, we took the east route and passed through Diecai Cave by car. It is a tunnel excavated and is also quite thrilling. There is a 180-degree loop. The biggest advantage of going by yourself is that you can play for a longer time. So I went to both the glass plank road and Zhuyu Peak. I guess you can only choose one with the tour group. The two are far apart and in opposite directions. The glass plank road is actually not that thrilling and not very long, but it is better to forget it for people with high blood pressure and heart disease. The road to Zhuyu Peak is still quite steep. But there is nothing on it. There is a monument of the highest peak, and there are not many people burning incense in the temple. The road down from Zhuyu Peak feels more exciting than the glass plank road. There is a section of wooden steps that are built out of the mountain wall. It is very long and zigzags down. My dad always said that the road to the glass plank road and Zhuyu Peak is just to tease tourists. If you go over the dirt road by yourself, it will be much closer. It is indeed done that way, but they wanted to go to the glass plank road and found out that they were going to Zhuyu Peak when they asked. So the tourist channel is still useful, safe, and there are signs. But the distance on the sign can be ignored. It says the straight-line distance is about the same, but in fact it is always very far. The air is very good in the early morning, and it is cool walking in the mountains.

There are many bees in Yuntaishan. The staff has a very good service attitude. Accommodation and meals in the shore service area are also very affordable. The ticket is valid for three days, which is very humane, because you can only play during the day. I feel that it is better to play in May and June, when there are not many people and the weather is suitable. It would be even better if it drizzles. But it is still very tiring. We played like this and walked more than 30,000 steps on the first day. It is a good place to lose weight.

There are many scenic spots in Yuntai Mountain, and the transfer between scenic spots depends on taking environmentally friendly vehicles. Tickets are valid within three days, so it is very important to choose a suitable accommodation area! The most recommended here is the shore service area! ! ! (Or you must stay here) Yuntai Mountain has multiple service areas, among which the shore service area has the most complete infrastructure and an extremely advantageous geographical location. Most friends who come to travel will stay here, so accommodation during holidays will be more tight, especially for friends who drive by themselves, because there are not many hotels that can provide parking spaces here, and most cars are parked in the aisles.

The main street of the shore service area is fully equipped with restaurants, supermarkets and hotels.



Here is a general introduction to the distribution of Yuntaishan attractions and my tour route. The scenic area is roughly divided into four parts. Quanpu Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, and Macaque Valley belong to one scenic area and share one ticket gate; Zhuyu Peak and Diecai Cave belong to one scenic area. On the way to Zhuyu Peak, you will pass Diecai Cave and check your ticket at the entrance of Zhuyu Peak; Hongshi Gorge and Zifang Lake belong to one scenic area. You enter the ticket gate from Hongshi Gorge and the exit is Zifang Lake; finally, Wanshan Temple at the foot of the mountain is a separate scenic area. Each scenic area has a pick-up point, the route instructions are very clear, and there are many staff members, so you don't have to worry about getting lost~~

Generally, it takes two days to visit all the attractions in Yuntaishan, and the pace is not very fast. It is recommended to visit the three attractions of Tanpu Gorge in the morning of the first day. The morning is relatively cool and the quietness of the lake water is very pleasant. At noon, you can go back to the shore for service or have a meal in the scenic area. In the afternoon, go to Hongshi Gorge, because most tour groups will go to Hongshi Gorge in the morning. This is also the most distinctive attraction in Yuntaishan. Therefore, there are more people in the morning and the sun is stronger in the afternoon. The red cliff will appear particularly prominent, which is one of the reasons why it is recommended to go in the afternoon; then go to climb Zhuyu Peak early the next morning, and try to climb up before noon, otherwise it will be very sunny and you will still have energy to go to Wanshan Temple in the afternoon.

The ticket is a card that can only be used once at each ticket gate and is valid for three days. Here is my itinerary. It was a bit crazy, but I felt the time was just right. I entered the park at eight in the morning and went straight to the innermost Quanpu Gorge, then Tanpu Gorge, and finally the Macaque Valley closest to the ticket gate. After the tour, I took a bus directly to Hongshi Gorge. It was not yet noon. After visiting Hongshi Gorge and Zifang Lake, around two o'clock, I took a scenic bus directly at the Zifang Lake Transfer Station to Diecai Cave and Zhuyu Peak. I returned to the shore service area at about six in the evening. Basically, I visited most of the attractions in one day and gave up Wanshan Temple (because I visited too many temples in the past few days)

Very good scenic spot, the most famous scenic spot is Hongshixia Scenic Area, which is worth visiting, suitable for a day trip, and more suitable for self-guided tour. There are mountains, water and cliffs, which are very suitable for taking pictures. There are few similar scenery in China. The ticket is 150, and the shuttle bus is 60, which is the most basic fee, which is quite conscientious.

It has rare mountain and water waterfall landscapes in the northern region. Friends who come to Henan for tourism must not miss it.

[If you are taking the intercity bus from Zhengzhou to Yuntaishan, you must read this] You must buy an internal bus ticket to enter the scenic area (because Yuntaishan Scenic Area is too large and you can't go between the scenic spots without taking the bus). The transportation inside is relatively convenient, the bus goes back and forth in a circle, and there are stations where you can transfer to different directions. But!!! My lesson of blood and tears: If you want to return to the gate from the scenic spot, please arrive at least one hour in advance.. I took the bus from the Macaque Valley back to the entrance of the scenic area, but the waiting time on the road + the time of the car traveling took a total of one hour.. Then I happily had to take the last bus back to Xiuwu West (theoretically, it starts at 5:30), and missed the intercity bus back to Zhengzhou (bitter smile). As for the bus between Xiuwu West and Yuntaishan Scenic Area, there will be traffic jams on the road and it will stop halfway, so it will take at least 45 minutes.. In addition, the bus driving time is not fixed, it is completely up to fate, and the aunt does not care whether you are in a hurry or not. Everyone must arrange the time! If you find that it is too late, just give up the bus and take a taxi there~ We were so stupid at that time. We waited for the bus but it didn’t leave. It didn’t leave until the latest departure time. In the end, we drove almost 20 minutes late to wait for two people...orz. We wasted a lot of time and missed the bus to Jiaozuo Station. I didn’t know there were taxis there. In the end, I had no choice but to take Xiuwu West and then take a taxi to Jiaozuo Station to take the intercity back. (Because there are more buses in Jiaozuo, you can get to Zhengzhou earlier) PS, if you also missed the intercity and think that the 8:30 pm bus from Xiuwu West is too late, you can consider taking a taxi directly to "Wuzhi Station". There are also intercity buses there. The taxi ride there may be similar to going to Jiaozuo Station, but the ticket should be cheaper? I hope everyone can arrange their time reasonably~

I heard Yuntaishan was good a few years ago. I went there on October 2, 2017. It was beautiful and worth going again.

The majestic Taihang Mountains, coupled with emerald pools and countless waterfalls, make it hard to imagine that there is such a graceful and unique place in the Central Plains. Although I have walked many sections of the Taihang Mountains, Yuntaishan still left a good impression on me, especially in the summer. It is very happy to stay in these two places.

Hongshi Gorge is the highlight of the area, but Quanpu Gorge and Tanpu Gorge are quieter, especially the incomparably spectacular waterfall, which can only be seen during the flood season.

From Luoyang to Yuntaishan, Jiaozuo, I was lucky to get a ride for 160 yuan, two and a half hours, saving me from various transfers along the way. The shore service area is right at the entrance of the scenic area, and there is a street of snacks and food, which is very lively at night.

It is worth a visit. The whole canyon is made of red stones, which are hundreds of millions of years old.

It is divided into three scenic spots. I highly recommend Hongshi Gorge, which is a rare Danxia landform in the north. The water quality is also good, and it is magnificent everywhere. Zifang Lake is a lake formed by a water storage dam, and you can take a speedboat to play. Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge and Macaque Valley are said to take 4-5 hours to hike back and forth. There is also Zhuyu Peak, which has more than a dozen caves that are winding and continuous, which is very thrilling. One day is definitely not enough, so choose according to your preferences.

During the Spring Festival, you have to wait for an hour to enter the gate. The scenery is just so-so. There are mountains everywhere. It is better to climb Songshan in Henan.

Jiuzhaigou and Hongshi Gorge in the north are still worth visiting.

The scenery is still okay, but I went there at the wrong season. I personally recommend climbing Yuntai Mountain in one day instead of two days. One day is enough, unless you have plenty of time and can play for two days...

Yuntaishan is covered with primeval forests, deep and quiet valleys and streams, waterfalls and springs in various shapes and forms, and picturesque peaks and rocks, forming Yuntaishan's unique and perfect natural landscape. The summer resort and mausoleum of Emperor Xian of Han, the secluded hometown of the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest" of Wei and Jin Dynasties, the remains of the herb-collecting and elixir-making by the Tang Dynasty medicine king Sun Simiao, the Zhuyu Peak where the great Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei wrote the eternal masterpiece "Every festival makes me miss my family more", and the inscriptions and cultural relics of many celebrities and writers have formed the rich and profound cultural connotation of Yuntaishan.

We went there for our graduation trip in May 2016. The scenery of Yuntaishan is pretty good. It's just that we took a bus at the Jiaozuo Bus Station, but we were arranged to take a taxi and taken to his guesthouse. The taxi driver was nice, but the hotel owner was terrible. After we stayed there, we found that the price was more expensive than the price on the Internet, and we had to pay extra for the air conditioner. We used the mobile app to turn on the air conditioner, but we didn't expect the power to go out at night. The owner even checked the meter the next day. It's true that there are always higher mountains than mountains. Be careful when traveling at the Jiaozuo Bus Station. It feels like the people in the bus station are in collusion with people in society. I don't know if the situation has changed now. Finally, I would like to add a sentence about my feelings when I visited there: I watched the Grottoes at Longmen in Luoyang, and I learned how to be a good person at Yuntai in Jiaozuo

The scenery is magnificent, the workmanship is amazing, the scenic area bus management is standardized, it is worthy of being the essence of the Central Plains landscape

Tickets are 150, half-price is 75. Transportation fee is 60, which is a bundled sale and must be purchased. There is no half-price. In other words, the total ticket price is equal to the ticket plus the transportation fee. After purchasing the ticket, you can take the transportation bus in the scenic area to different scenic spots as many times as you want. The scenic spot implements double ticket verification of tickets and fingerprints. Don't forget to collect fingerprints after buying the ticket. The ticket is valid within three days after purchase, but each scenic spot can only be visited once, and the scenic spots you have visited cannot be verified. If you buy a half-price ticket, you must bring relevant documents when you go to the scenic spot. Don't forget to bring them because there is no scenic spot to check the documents on the first day. Some scenic spots, especially Zhuyu Summit, require you to show your documents at the entrance.

Yuntaishan is a national 5A-level scenic spot. The ticket price is 150 yuan per person. In addition to the normal preferential policies stipulated by the state, all tourists under the age of 18 are free of charge. They only need to buy a tourist bus ticket for 60 yuan per person. Wherever the bus goes, whether you have bought a ticket or not, you can take the bus to any stop and there is no limit on the number of times you can take the bus. There are about 150 to 60 sightseeing buses running non-stop from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. I felt the generosity of the people of Henan and increased my good impression of Henan.

After buying the ticket, no matter what type of ticket you buy, you must go through a ticket verification process, which means matching your ticket with the fingerprint collected from your right index finger. After that, you must present your ticket to verify your fingerprint at all attractions in the Yuntaishan Scenic Area. Only after a one-to-one match can you enter. Although the ticket is valid for 3 days, you can only enter each attraction once.

Yuntaishan is really worth visiting. I went there twice in 2015 and 2016, and I would recommend it to my friends who are going to Henan.

Yuntaishan Scenic Area is very large. You can stay in the scenic area for one night. There are shuttle buses between each small scenic spot, which is very convenient. Yuntaishan is really beautiful, especially the bamboo raft, which is very fun. I went there on Women's Day on March 8th. Women don't need to pay tickets (but they still have to pay more than 60 yuan, I forgot what fee), and men pay half price.

Yuntaishan is the most beautiful scenic spot in Taihang Mountains, where you can see a different scene at every step.

Henan's major attractions are a must-see. And worth visiting again and again.

Yuntai Mountain is a representative of northern mountains and rivers, located at the junction of Henan and Shanxi. As a layman in geology, I think the most special thing about Yuntai Mountain is that you will pass through 19 Diecai Caves (artificial tunnels) on the way up the mountain; secondly, Hongshi Gorge has the characteristics of Danxia landform, and the scenery of red mountains and green waters is amazing.



The ticket to Yuntai Mountain is 150 yuan, and the transportation to the scenic area is 60 yuan. It is valid for three days and includes the four major scenic areas of Hongshi Gorge, Zhuyu Peak, Macaque Valley (Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge), and Wanshan Temple. Our first day in Yuntai Mountain was also the second day of the Qingming Festival holiday. We didn't expect so many people. We got up at 7:30 in the morning, went out to buy tickets, had breakfast, and entered the scenic area. Finally, we entered the first Zhuyu Peak scenic area at 10:30. We spent most of the time queuing. The flow of people traveling during the Qingming Festival was really scary.

The second time I came, the feeling in winter is another kind of beauty

The scenic area includes the Yuntai Waterfall, which has the largest drop in Asia, as well as 11 major attractions including Qinglong Gorge, Fenglin Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, and Tanpu Gorge. It is one of the first world-class geological parks in the world.

Yuntaishan is still worth a visit. The scenery is very unique, but there are many introductions on the Internet, so I won't say much. Let me talk about a simple strategy. If you drive by yourself, you can directly navigate to the service area of Yuntaishan, such as Wujiatai Service Area, Shore Service Area, and Gudongyao Service Area. The Shore Service Area is the largest, most prosperous, and most expensive. It is recommended to go to Wujiatai Service Area, which is cheaper. Just park the car here, free of charge. Just find an accommodation, about 60 in the off-season, and more than 100 in the peak season. There are scenic transportation to each scenic spot. The ticket of 210 includes the 60 yuan transportation fee of the scenic spot. You can take the scenic transportation at will. If you arrive at Wujiatai Service Area at noon, you can go to Hongshi Cliff first in the afternoon, then go to Macaque Valley Tanpu Gorge Quanpu Gorge, and go to Zhuyu Peak the next morning and walk the glass plank road (you must spend 5 yuan to rent shoe covers on the glass plank road). The transportation to Zhuyu Peak is quite cool, shuttling through the mountain, 18 tunnels. Other small attractions can be chosen at will according to your own time.

In fact, the overall management and environment of the scenic spot are still very good, but you can’t choose to go there during the National Day holiday because there are too many people!
