Ancient Longzhong is located 15 kilometers west of Xiangyang City. It is the place where Zhuge Liang, a famous politician and military strategist during the Three Kingdoms period, lived in seclusion. The story of "Liu Bei's Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage" in the Three Kingdoms story took place here, and the popular "Longzhong Discussion" originated here.

I followed the navigation to the end and it said we had arrived at the scenic spot? But I didn’t see the gate?
You still have to ask, just drive 500 meters up.
I ended up driving to a large, regular parking lot, where I was the only car in the lot.
It shows the entrance to the "Caolu Theater" in the ancient Longzhong Scenic Area.
(Later I learned that this entrance is not the main entrance of the scenic area)
The entrance fee to the Gulongzhong scenic area is 87 (in whole and in decimal).
After buying the ticket, I walked into the gate in a panic and followed the instructions of the ticket seller to walk inside to find the sightseeing station. It was a gloomy day with a low temperature. There was no one in sight, whether it was a tourist or a staff member, which made me feel a little depressed.
I waited for more than 10 minutes in the cold wind, but there didn't seem to be any sightseeing buses? So I went to the "Caolu Theater" next door to take a look.
After passing the stone archway with the three characters "Gu Longzhong", there is a neat stone road under your feet. After walking less than 100 meters, turn right and you will reach the "Gonggengtian" scenic spot.
After passing the "Little Hongqiao", there is no longer a flat road, but an upward road all the way.
The stairs in the scenic area are relatively flat, and it is not very tiring to walk up them leisurely.
After climbing up this set of steps without any difficulty, you will reach the core attraction of the core scenic area, "Sangutang".
The story of Liu Bei visiting Zhuge Liang three times at his thatched cottage to invite him to come out of seclusion is, of course, a household name.
There is a big screen in the Sangu Hall, which plays the clip of "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage" from "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" in a loop. So from a long distance you can hear Zhang Fei's gnashing teeth and lines like "This guy is so rude", haha.
Outside the back door of Sangu Hall is a staircase, and at the end of the staircase is the "Caolu Pavilion".
Coming out of "San Gu Tang", continue walking up the steps and you will arrive in front of a courtyard with a plaque marked "Deep in Sleeping Dragon".
This courtyard looked to be quite large, and very much like the "Wuhou Temple", but for some reason the gate was locked and closed.
This "Tenglong Pavilion" is the tower on the top of the mountain that I looked up at from the sightseeing station.
It looks far from the bottom of the mountain, but it actually doesn't take that long to walk, not to mention I was walking and taking photos.
First of all, this tower is also closed. You can see a spiral staircase through the glass, but you can forget about climbing up to see the view.
Secondly, standing on the platform at the base of the tower, whether looking down or looking far away, I couldn’t see anything, which was very disappointing!
In the morning, take bus No. 512 and get off at the east gate of the tourist center in about 50 minutes. Then the scenic area has a shuttle bus to the tourist center. Ancient Longzhong is now launching an event. Those who can recite Longzhong are free of charge. Elderly people and children under 18 years old are free of charge. Train tickets to Xiangyang Railway Station are half-price, which saved us a lot of ticket money. Now Xiangyang and Nanyang have been arguing about the location of ancient Longzhong. In fact, Nanyang at that time referred to Nanyang County, and the real location is now Xiangyang. After getting the route map at the tourist center, check the ticket and get on the bus. The bus will take you to the stone archway of Zhuge's former residence scenic area to start the tour. The tour order is: Stone Archway-Longzhong Academy-Wuhou Temple-Six-Cornered Well-Sangu Hall-Zhuge Thatched Cottage-Laolong Cave-Three Kingdoms Ancient Village-Return-Gonggengtian-Exit. It takes about 2 hours to complete the tour. For details, please refer to the guide map below. We didn't go up the mountain to Tenglong Pavilion because we were a little tired. If you want to save energy, you can take the round-trip slide in front of Zhuge Thatched Cottage to visit Tenglong Pavilion. The round-trip slide fee is 80 yuan. The ticket for Gulongzhong also includes Yueying Flower Valley, Caolu Theater, Guangde Temple and several other scenic spots, which are almost not visited by anyone. Gulongzhong is basically man-made attractions, but it is still good for understanding the Three Kingdoms culture. There is a facial comparison with the Three Kingdoms characters, which is a bit interesting. My wife and Diao Chan have a similarity of 88, haha. After the visit, we continued to take the shuttle bus to Gude Temple and took bus No. 512 for the return trip. We didn't hear the driver's reminder, so we took the bus back to the tourist center and transferred to bus No. 6 to return to the city.
A scenic spot to learn about Zhuge Kongming. It is impossible to verify whether Longzhong is here now, but friends who are interested in the Three Kingdoms can still come and play. There is a bus from the train station to here. The distance is long, but it is relatively convenient.
Ancient Longzhong is located in the arch of Xishan Mountain, 13 kilometers west of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province. According to the Records of Geography, "Longzhong means in the air. When you walk above it, you can hear a sound." Longzhong was named after this.
The famous historical event of Liu Bei's three visits to Zhuge Liang's thatched cottage and the "Longzhong Strategy", a blueprint for the revival of the Han Dynasty, both took place here.
Not only has the area of the scenic spot been expanded, but tourists are still required to take the scenic shuttle bus, which is really annoying.
The place where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion, a landmark scenic spot in Xiangyang
Longzhong has a total area of 209 square kilometers. It was the place where Zhuge Liang and his uncle, an outstanding politician, military strategist and thinker during the Three Kingdoms period, lived in seclusion.
Came here with my girlfriend, it was good.
A must-visit for those who love the Three Kingdoms, this is the place where Wolong lived in seclusion and where the story of the Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage took place. A situational drama is performed at 14:00 every afternoon. The scenery is very good, and there is a Huang Yueying Garden next to it, with many beautiful flowers. When they bloom in March and April, they are colorful and dazzling.
Prime Minister of Shu
(Du Fu)
Where is the Prime Minister’s Temple? There are dense cypresses outside Jinguan City.
The green grass on the steps is from the spring, and the orioles sing beautifully through the leaves.
He visited the emperor three times to seek advice for the country, and helped the old ministers of the two dynasties.
To die before accomplishing the mission will make the hero cry for a long time.
The scenic area has expanded since the last visit. The visitor center has been built far away from the scenic area. You must take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan per person.
I went there during the Spring Festival. It was the place where Liu Bei visited Zhuge Liang three times. The biggest impression I had was the many straight bamboos. Living in the north, I was a little overwhelmed to see the green everywhere in winter.
Longzhong is where Zhuge Liang studied and farmed before he left the mountains (the dispute between Nanyang and Xiangyang before Zhuge Liang left the mountains was finally confirmed in historical records. Longzhong is now the northwest of Xiangyang City. Here he quietly reads, visits friends, and observes the changes in the situation. I read the Romance of the Three Kingdoms in elementary school. Later, I listened to storytelling, watched TV dramas, played games, etc., and I knew each character very well. This time, I gave Zhuge Liang a special bonus. The existing buildings are mainly rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The gate is a memorial archway with Du Fu's poems on it (Baidu, the foundation of ancient poetry is too poor...) I walked under the ancient Longzhong memorial archway and first visited the Longzhong Academy. I thought it was not very interesting because it was not built for a long time. However, through the introduction of pictures and online learning, I have a deeper understanding of Zhuge Liang. His loyalty and self-discipline have greatly influenced many people around him and the times at that time. We have all learned "The Book of Exhortations to My Son" and we know that he invented the wooden ox and the flowing horse, the Kongming lantern, the steamed bun, the Zhuge crossbow, etc. These have made later generations admire him. Since the Jin Dynasty, many people have written poems and erected monuments to commemorate him in modern times. There are countless couplets and inscriptions of all sizes in the Wuhou Temple. I feel that the main attractions to see in Longzhong are in the Wuhou Temple. The "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage" performed in front of the Three Visits Hall is quite interesting. It is a copy of the TV series "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Others such as the "Ten Scenic Spots of Longzhong": Caolu Pavilion, Gonggengtian, Sangu Hall, Liujiaojing, Banyue Creek, Laolong Cave, etc., are not attractive to an old driver like me. It's a pity that the slide on the mountain was too crowded and I missed it. I complained that the Tenglong Pavilion on the mountain was too hard to climb up and there was nothing to see; some tourists in the scenic area smoked and spit casually, cut in line, and took pictures on the cultural relic Bixi.
It was enough for a 5-hour visit. Overall, it was quite good, especially the many inscriptions on the monument, which were probably the highest respect for the ancient scholars.
The place where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion is now a series of memorial buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is located in a valley with a very pleasant environment. Because a vassal king in the Ming Dynasty destroyed this place to build a tomb, all the earlier buildings are gone. There are many different opinions about where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion, and there is a lot of debate in China. This place in Xiangyang has been used to build memorial buildings since the Jin Dynasty. The historical documents are relatively clear. It is also very close to the political center of Jingzhou at that time, so it is very likely to be the real place of seclusion.
Just as Luo Guanzhong described it, "The mountains are not high but elegant; the water is not deep but clear; the land is not wide but flat; the forest is not big but lush; cranes are close to each other, and the pines and bamboos are green." It is a quiet and peaceful place full of ancient charm. From time to time, you can see high-quality reality shows that take tourists back to the Three Kingdoms period. As I walked and watched, I couldn't help wondering, why could the literati in ancient times find these elegant places to cultivate themselves? Did people change the environment, or did the environment create people?
After reading many people's comments, they all felt that the 100 yuan was not worth the facilities and services of the scenic spot. As an outsider, I think the 100 yuan is very worthwhile. The heritage is not something that can be formed in a day or two.
I went to Gulongzhong this afternoon. The scenic spot and the ticket center are about 7.8 kilometers apart. You need to take a scenic bus for 20 yuan per person, which is really expensive. After entering, there are man-made attractions inside, which can be seen, but not worth the ticket price. Some facilities inside are not well maintained. If you are a citizen for leisure, you can get an annual pass and play. If you are a foreigner, it is recommended not to come.
The environment is good and it is worth a visit. I learned about Zhuge Liang's life and understood the thoughts and feelings of Longzhong. The bus is air-conditioned and very cool. The environment in the mountains and forests is very good, just like the Jiangnan water town. There are electronic screens at various scenic spots, and the overall feeling is good.
The place is picturesque with clear water and peaceful environment. If Zhuge Liang had really lived in seclusion here, his life must have been very comfortable.
The “Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage” performance is held at San Gu Hall every day.
Located in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, a famous historical and cultural city in China, about 20 miles west of Xiangyang City, in the Longzhong Scenic Spot at the junction of three districts and counties (Xiangcheng District, Nanzhang County, and Gucheng County) surrounded by the West Mountain. "The mountains are not high but elegant; the water is not deep but clear; the land is not wide but flat; the forest is not large but lush; monkeys and cranes are close to each other, and pines and bamboos are intertwined and green", this is the description of Longzhong in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms".
It should be the most popular scenic spot in Xiangyang. The scenic spot is about 1 hour by bus from the city center. The scenic spot is still very large, and the entire service and facilities are also OK. The ticket includes a shuttle bus from the entrance of the scenic spot to the three scenic spots. There is still a little distance from the entrance of the scenic spot to the core scenic spot, so friends who are short of time should pay attention. Due to time reasons, I only visited the core scenic spot, which is most of the Ten Scenic Spots in Longzhong. Note that it is very necessary to climb a mountain road from the depths of Wolong to Tenglong Pavilion, especially if you want to return by the original route, you must pay attention to the time. However, friends who have time can take their time to visit slowly.
Ancient Longzhong has a history of more than 1,800 years. Because Zhuge Liang "tilled the fields" and Liu Bei "visited the thatched cottage three times", the "Longzhong Plan" was triggered, and it is known as the cradle of wise men and the source of the strategy of dividing the world into three parts. Among the rolling mountains, there is a mountain "rising in the middle", with the Han River to the north, deep forests and springs, and beautiful scenery. This place is ancient Longzhong. Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu during the Three Kingdoms, once lived and cultivated here, and ended his secluded life here, and came out to assist Liu Bei in achieving a career of conquering the world. The place was named after the person, and Ancient Longzhong became a place of "eternal tranquility" and "eternal peace". When you visit here, you will feel that there is such a quiet and peaceful residence in the bustling city. No wonder Zhuge Kongming was reluctant to come out of the mountain, haha.
The ticket price for Gulongzhong is 100 yuan. After buying the ticket, you can take the shuttle bus back to the gate of the scenic area. (The back and forth trip may be the intention of the landscape developers to let tourists feel the care of their landscape construction).
Entering the gate of the scenic area, I have to praise the developers of Gulongzhong Scenic Area, the quiet environment, the exquisite archway, the clear stream, the quaint thatched cottage, and the wide area. I have been to Wolonggang in Nanyang before, and I have to say that there is still a certain gap. If Mr. Zhuge chooses a homestead, he should also choose Gulongzhong.
Going up the trail, we just caught up with the live performance of "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage". The performance of more than ten minutes, combined with the landscape of the thatched cottage, the wonderful performance of the actors, and the high-quality sound effects, can make tourists better understand the 27-year-old Wolong's desire to repay Liu Bei with his talents. On the right side of the thatched cottage are Zhuge Liannu (tourists can try it here) and Wuhou Temple (Wuhou Temple was under renovation when I went there). It is said that the original site of Zhuge Caolu was later favored by King Xiangjian of the Ming Dynasty, so he destroyed the thatched cottage and built his own tomb. After a rest in Zhuge Qintang, looking at the Tenglong Pavilion on the top of the mountain, I made up my mind to climb its Lingjueding. With sore thighs, it took more than an hour to finally climb to the top of the Tenglong Pavilion Tower. I felt a little bit worthless when I saw the scenery below. Because the slip was not opened, I could only go down the mountain the same way. The Eight Diagrams in Longzhong Scenic Area is worth a try. You can't get out without being careful.
On the morning of January 30, 2018, the whole family took a bus to visit the ancient Longzhong in Xiangyang to experience the atmosphere of the Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage; there is a lot of historical and cultural heritage here;
The scenic spot manager had a bad idea. Asking my mother to write a letter of guarantee.
In November 2017, we took our companion dog to the Gulongzhong Scenic Area. The person in charge said that dogs were not allowed to enter the scenic area. The reason was that our scenic area was applying for 5A level and was afraid of complaints from tourists. My mother said: There is a dog license, it has been specially trained, it is very docile, the dog can wear a muzzle, and it will be led all the time and will not be allowed to run around. She also emphasized that we came from a long way and drove by ourselves. If the companion dog was left in the car for a few hours, it would be suffocated. We have also been to many 5A-level scenic spots. Most of the outdoor areas allow pets. But pets are not allowed to enter the scenic area, and there are also special places for pets in the scenic area. Tourists who drive with pets are by no means unprecedented. You will encounter them in the future. There will be more and more. Will they all be turned away? Does applying for 5A-level scenic spots have to sacrifice the interests of tourists with dogs? I suggest you learn more about how other 5A-level scenic spots deal with the relationship between tourists and pets. The person in charge heard that what my mother said was very reasonable, and it was difficult to refute it, so he came up with a bad idea. They said, "Let my mother write a letter of guarantee to ensure that the dog will not bite anyone." Then they found a dog cage and put the dog in it. My mother was very angry. She said, "This is the first time I've heard of a scenic spot writing a letter of guarantee. This is the original rule of your scenic spot to ask tourists to write a letter of guarantee. Your scenic spot does not have a good reputation among tourists. I personally experienced it and it is really well-deserved. Not only is the ticket price expensive, the cost-effectiveness is low, and there is a bundled sales, but there is also a weird thing that asks tourists to write a letter of guarantee. I have no objection to putting the dog in a cage. It is hard to accept that I have to write a letter of guarantee. After returning to Beijing from the trip, I wanted to post the fact that the scenic spot asked my mother to write a letter of guarantee on the Internet. Please comment on it. But then I thought that in this way, netizens who didn't know about this scenic spot before would also know about it. Isn't this promoting the scenic spot? I won't be stupid enough to give them free advertising. I would like to give them some advice. This does not take tourists into consideration, the ticket price is expensive, the cost-effectiveness is low, the bundled sales, and there is only one old building and the rest are new buildings that make up the number. It is not worth tourists to support them and give them money.
Ancient Longzhong was the place where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion, the origin of the story of Zhuge Liang's three visits to the thatched cottage, and the source of the Three Kingdoms. Now it is mainly a scenic spot with Zhuge Liang's former residence as the theme. The scenic area is relatively large, and it takes about a whole day to visit all the attractions.
On the day of March 24, 2018, the ticket checking method was changed to be unified at the visitor center, and the direct ticket checking method for entering the core scenic area was cancelled. Many scenic spots are under maintenance. If you have an annual pass, it is still suitable to go recently. If you come here specifically, it is recommended to postpone it for a few months to half a year or a year. It will be very good after it is completed. It is recommended to leave a day and walk slowly. Although the sightseeing bus is convenient, the best scenery is on the road after all. The core scenic area can be visited in any month. If you want to see the flowers in the botanical garden, you need to come according to the flowering period. The plum blossoms were already in bloom that day, the peach blossoms were just right (you can see them in the sightseeing bus, but there is no special setting in the botanical garden), the tulips were in bud, and the peonies had just budded. If you have time, watching a drama is also a very good experience.
The environment is quiet and elegant, with few tourists, and it is worth visiting.
I went there a few years ago. The other attractions were average, but I had a deep memory of the Bagua formation. If you don't think about it carefully, you really can't get out of it.
The service management of the scenic spot can be described as a capital negative. First, the road signs were unclear. Sometimes they pointed here, sometimes they pointed there. I asked all the way and finally stumbled to the top of the mountain. There was a parking lot at the top of the mountain and I could buy tickets to enter. The ticket includes the tour ticket and a sightseeing bus ticket. Just after entering the gate, there was no one on a well-maintained main road. I jumped and ran down a big downhill. It was beautiful. Then I saw: Caolu Theater, a very impressive theater. Let's just say it's a theater. We won't go in. The problem came when we walked forward. I didn't know how far to go. The sightseeing bus was nowhere to be seen. The station signs were unclear. There were no road signs, staff, or anything. So I had to go back and call the service hotline. I was told that the ticket we bought did not include the car, so we were told to go forward. At this time, the clouds in my heart had come up, and I had no choice but to go forward. I didn't walk far, and I came to a small gate. This small gate looked so familiar. I looked carefully and I went there. It was the halfway up the mountain where I just drove up the mountain! What's even more annoying is that three or four groups of tourists gathered at the small gate, all arguing, and had been waiting for the bus for more than half an hour or an hour. Only then did we realize that there was no sightseeing bus, and the service center was just talking nonsense, and we had to get on the bus from this small gate halfway up the mountain. Well, after waiting for a long time, the bus finally arrived when the tourists and service staff were about to fight, and everyone got on the bus. As a result, the bus drove back along our mountain road to the bottom of the mountain, the first place marked "Gu Longzhong", and we got off the bus and asked, and we were told to go forward and go up the mountain. I cursed in my heart! ! Do you understand? It means that this attraction is at the foot of the mountain, but the gate and parking lot are set up on the mountain, so that you can visit the decent "Caolu Theater"! And you must take the sightseeing bus! ! ! It's so bad! ! !
Ancient Longzhong is the place where Zhuge Liang, a famous figure in the Three Kingdoms period, worked as a farmer. It has a quiet environment and beautiful scenery. The ticket includes ancient Longzhong and Longzhong Botanical Garden. The Tenglong Pavilion on the mountain was built later, and you can overlook the entire scenery of ancient Longzhong. There are discounts for online booking.
Trap! Trap! Trap! I totally agree with the viewpoint below. They cheat tourists like this and still claim to be a 5A scenic spot. Haha. I planned to arrive at 8:00 and play for two hours and return to take the 12:00 train. As a result, I arrived at the bus terminal at 8:20, which was about 100 meters away from the scenic spot. When I walked to the door (Picture 1), they said they didn't sell tickets here and asked me to go back to the bus station (Picture 2). I went to the tourist center to buy a ticket. I returned to the bus station at 8:30 and took the scenic spot bus. The bus didn't leave until 8:45. I was surprised to find that it was the same route that the bus had taken before. It took about 15 minutes to get to the tourist center under construction (Picture 3). When I bought the ticket, I was inexplicably charged two yuan for insurance. I didn't know where the entrance to the scenic spot was at the time, but I could accept it. After all, it was for your safety. We were asked to take the bus again and see the scenery along the way. The more we saw, the more familiar it became. We actually went back to where we took the bus (Figure 2) and drove all the way to the place in Figure 1. The other tourists on the bus were also crazy, and I was also drunk about the insurance. I had already arrived safely, why did you take me around and let me buy insurance myself? It was exactly 9:20 at that time, and I wasted an hour in vain. I had to change my train ticket again. For the sake of the 5A scenic spot, the Xiangyang Municipal Government also made a great effort. They built a so-called tourist center a few kilometers away from the scenic spot, closed the ticket office at the entrance of the scenic spot, and fooled the tourists around. It was great.
It has both cultural and scenic features and is also suitable for leisure. The best time to visit is in late autumn when you can enjoy the colors of maple leaves and ginkgo trees.
There are serious traces of human processing, and it is a man-made scenic spot.
The scenic spot is moving towards 5A status, but I disagreed at first. The newly built sightseeing bus route did not overlap with the original mountain road and had no signs. We wasted too much time walking back and forth. We chose a Bell Route on the return trip, which was so deserted that we were almost eaten by bugs.
I went there yesterday. It was so beautiful. I didn't expect that there was such an attraction in Xiangyang. It's not big, but you can spend an afternoon there, climb the mountain, and it's a natural oxygen bar.
Ancient Longzhong, April 5, 2011, Xiangyang.
Ancient Longzhong is located in the southwest suburbs of Xiangyang City. It is said to be the place where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion during the Three Kingdoms period. Perhaps the "Longzhong Dialogue" is evidence that Zhuge Liang worked in Xiangyang. The ticket price for the 4A scenic spot is 80 yuan/person in the peak season (60 yuan/person in the off-season), which is very low in cost performance. You can take buses 512 and 543 from Xiangyang Railway Station to get there directly. Although Ancient Longzhong should be a must-see attraction for tourists to Xiangyang, the scale and quality of the scenic spot are not worth the high ticket price of 80 yuan/person. The Tenglong Pavilion at the highest point is very messy. The core attractions of the scenic spot are concentrated in the small valley from the gate to the peony garden. The content is similar to Nanyang Wolonggang (60 yuan/person), but the layout is more scattered. There is basically nothing to see in the botanical garden attractions. It is not bad to come and see the peonies when they are in full bloom in April and May, but the tickets are too expensive and the cost performance is too low.
I went there once 20 years ago organized by the school. This time I went with my family. I didn't feel good. The whole scenic spot was renovated in a specious way. It was no different from an ordinary park. 1. It didn't have the characteristics of the former residence of a legendary wise man that everyone in China knows. 2. The speed of the vehicles whizzing back and forth was very fast and scary. There was only one asphalt road to go up the mountain, and we had to give way to the cars from time to time. There was basically no way to walk up. Our family walked up the mountain, and we were so hot that we were smoking. 3. The archway was newly built, small and lacked weight. 4. The first picture was an ashtray. I sat down to smoke a cigarette, and ended up sitting on a piece of chewing gum, which I couldn't wash off.
It is said that Gu Longzhong was where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion before he came out of the mountains. The scenery is quite good and worth a visit.
Ancient Longzhong was the place where Zhuge Liang, an outstanding politician, military strategist, inventor, and writer during the Three Kingdoms period, lived in seclusion in his youth (17-27 years old). Later, Liu Bei visited him three times at his thatched cottage, and Zhuge Liang made a comprehensive analysis of the situation of warlords fighting for power in the world, and proposed a strategy of dividing the world into three parts and then unifying it, which is the famous "Longzhong Plan".
After half a day, I felt that the natural and cultural landscapes were over-modified and had a strong decorative nature. It is recommended to start the tour after lunch. The Zhuge Restaurant inside is too expensive. The set meal is not enough for 20 or 30 yuan. It is recommended to eat outside or bring some snacks. There are three routes after entering. I took the middle straight line and then turned right back to the starting point. I had high expectations for Gu Longzhong at the beginning, but after seeing the archway, eating in the canteen, and seeing the Laolong Cave, I was a little disappointed. The so-called Laolong Cave is an artificial dragon head spraying at the mouth of the pool... The green water and green mountains next to the white statue of Zhuge in the middle are good, and it is refreshing to look at. This is the scenery I want. After turning right at Laolong Cave, there is a very long pavilion, and you will see Zhuge's former residence, Sangu Hall, etc. There are not many people in the ancestral hall, you can go deeper and there will be unexpected surprises. The exhibition of works by calligraphy masters of various ages is the spiritual gathering point of the entire scenic area for me. The scenery later is more or less the same. After leaving the scenic area, you can take a shuttle bus to see Caolu Theater. The costume performances are too flashy. I feel that many places are just for visual effects and do not respect history and tradition. The traditional Chinese clothing is Hanfu, and what they wear is just a costume. The Three Kingdoms Fun Games are well received, and I won two lollipops hahahaha.
A must-visit place for those who like the Three Kingdoms. Although it is all covered in the back, the bad reviews are tied to the botanical garden.
The scenery is okay, it's worth a visit, but the ticket price is a bit expensive.
The mountains in Longzhong are not high but elegant, the water is not deep but clear, the land is not wide but flat, and the forest is not big but luxuriant. Since the Tang Dynasty, there has been a custom of viewing peonies in Longzhong on March 3rd of the lunar calendar. It is the largest wild peony base in my country.
Ancient Longzhong became famous throughout the world because of Zhuge Liang's tilling of the fields in Longzhong and Liu Bei's three visits to Chang Lu. One can learn about the affairs of the Three Kingdoms in just one day of traveling in Longzhong.
You can climb the highest peak in Xiangyang. There is a university at the foot of the mountain and many beautiful girls.
Recommended. The colors here are the colors of nature, which cannot be reflected by a drawing board. The spring here can only be kept in the heart, because the camera cannot truly show that kind of green.
I joked with my friends that this piece of land might be where Mr. Zhuge worked with his back to the sun and his face to the soil. Hahaha, climb all the way up to the highest point and you can see all the mountains. When you come down, you can take the slide, which is really fun! !
I felt new and interesting everywhere I went (I went there on February 22. I heard that it was the site of the "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage", but my colleague in Xiangyang said it was not.)
It rained heavily during the Qingming Festival, and pedestrians on the road were almost dead! I was soaked! The whole scenic area was in the clouds and fog. There are not many attractions, but the vegetation is rich and the environment is quiet. The focus is on feeling. It is really refreshing to learn more about Zhuge Liang's deeds in combination with the actual situation. Even in modern times, if it is not a scenic spot, it is still a treasure place for seclusion!
Come and experience this beautiful scenery.
If Zhuge had not come out of Longzhong, where would the Three Kingdoms be performed?
I am a commoner, working as a farmer in Nanyang, trying to survive in the troubled times. I do not seek fame and fortune among the princes. The late emperor did not regard me as humble and mean, and visited me three times in my thatched cottage. Liu Bei visited Zhuge Liang three times in his thatched cottage to invite him to come out. The thatched cottage is located in the ancient Longzhong, but the thatched cottage has been destroyed. Now, only a small mound of ruins remains.
I have to say, this is my childhood memory. At that time, my parents often took me there with a camera, and I don’t know how many times I have been there. There are many scenic spots there, including Zhuge Liang’s retreat and many stone statues. If you go to Xiangyang, you must go to Gulongzhong to take a look. By the way, I will post a few records of my childhood trip 😉.
The most convenient and larger scenic spot from downtown Xiangyang. If you come from other places by train, get off at Xiangyang Station and take bus 512 to the end of the bus station opposite. The ticket seems to be 81. There are cableways, mountain climbing mazes, and CS, which is quite fun. You can visit the place where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion and play the entertainment projects inside. It's very good. I think it's a must-go place when you come to Xiangyang.
It's just a park, but the scenery is nice and you can visit it if you have free time.
It's a big scenic spot, you can spend half a day there, walking around, climbing mountains, and the cultural atmosphere of Zhuge is everywhere. Don't go to the highest tower, there is nothing exciting there. The leftover lunch boxes on the top of the tower are still littered everywhere, it's very dirty. It's not worth it to go up to take a look at the scenery below and be exhausted.
Haha, it was just before the Spring Festival, and the three silly girls were determined to go there. Fortunately, there were local colleagues as tour guides ~ the air there was fresh and the environment was quiet. Because it was close to the festival, it was deserted at that time, and the four of us reserved the place!
The scenery is just okay, but the service is good, and scanning the code to see the details of the plants is a highlight.
The misty ancient city wall, the wide and clear moat and the green willows along the river give off an elegant and ancient atmosphere.
Ancient Longzhong is located deep in the hills. Its long history and legends add to the mystery of Longzhong! Ponds, stone mountains, strange trees, characteristic ancient buildings, Three Kingdoms sculptures and various inscriptions are worth seeing! However, the 80 yuan ticket is a bit expensive!
The historical culture in Gulongzhong is relatively well preserved.
When I went home for the Spring Festival, I passed by Xiangyang and spent half a day in Gu Longzhong. It has beautiful scenery and is a good place for peace and tranquility!
In Xiangyang's ancient Longzhong, Kong Ming lived in Wolong. The rural scenery is beautiful, and he worked in the fields and hugged his knees.
Gulongzhong is a few kilometers away from Xiangyang city. You can quickly reach the scenic spot after getting off the highway. The whole scenic spot is in a lush forest, and the thatched cottage, Wuhou Temple, Sangu Hall and other attractions are very distinctive.
As a temporary travel destination, we went directly to Gu Longzhong when we arrived in Xiangyang. The guide information was relatively clear. It took about 2-3 hours to visit, and the transportation was relatively convenient. It has a strong cultural heritage and you can ask a tour guide to tell some stories, which is very helpful for the tour. We just took advantage of the tour guide at that time because we had other things to do and just took a quick look.
It is indeed a great attraction worth visiting, very beautiful!!!
The weather was nice that day, the sun was warm, and there was still some snow in the scenic area from the heavy snowfall a while ago, which looked so beautiful under the sun. This place is mainly for the feelings and atmosphere, the scenery is great, and it is really pleasant to walk around and chat with like-minded people about their stories.
The scenic spot opens at 8 a.m. Opposite it is the Hubei University of Arts and Sciences. If you get up early and catch the lunch time, you can go to the school cafeteria for a meal. The ticket to Gu Longzhong is 63 yuan.
There will be a scenic map when you enter the scenic area. It is recommended to take a photo. Then turn right and go up the stairs. (The description here is quoted from others)
No.1: Longzhong Academy. From the age of 17 to 27, Zhuge Long studied and met guests in the academy for ten years.
No.2: Wuhou Temple. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty and is one of the main buildings. The existing one was rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. It mainly contains the statue of Zhuge Liang, the statue of his wife, the Sanyi Hall, etc.
No.3: Baoxi Pavilion and Sangu Hall. Built in the 58th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1719 AD), it is the place where later generations pay tribute to Zhuge Liang while hugging his knees and chanting. Sangu Hall is located in front of Zhuge's thatched cottage. It is an antique building and memorial hall commemorating Liu Bei's three visits to his thatched cottage.
No.4: Thatched Cottage and Thatched Cottage Stele. Zhuge Liang’s thatched cottage was designed in the style of the residence of Kong Ming in the past. It was simply furnished with a zither, a sword, and a few scrolls. However, Zhuge Liang was able to understand the world and discuss the world in this small space.
No.5: Tenglong Pavilion. A memorial tower built at the highest point of the scenic area, with a total height of ten floors, can be reached by climbing the stairs behind Sangu Hall. Inside the tower is a picture of Crouching Dragon coming out of the mountain and related cultural allusions of the Three Kingdoms. Climbing up and looking far, you can not only see the panoramic view of Longzhong Mountain, Hubei University of Arts and Sciences, and Wolong Town, but also overlook the Han River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, and the exquisite beauty of Xiangyang City. It happened to be sunny after the rain, with blue sky and white clouds, which filled my heart. (Because Tenglong Pavilion is very high, I didn't climb it at that time)
Public transportation: 2 yuan. Opening hours of Gulongzhong: 8:00-17:00
Ticket price: 60 yuan, half price for students. Duration: about three hours.
Baoxi Pavilion is my favorite building, no doubt about it! The symmetrical and harmonious beauty, and the bells hanging on the corners are my favorite...
This is where Zhuge Liang worked as a farmer when he was young. It is also the place where the story of the Three Kingdoms, "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage", took place. The scenic area has recreated the story scenes of the Three Kingdoms, such as "Longzhong Discussion", through the reconstruction of thatched cottages and statues. This place is beautiful with clear water and mountains, full of pastoral scenery, and is suitable for outings. It is the best place to visit during the Qingming Festival.
Ancient Longzhong is very beautiful, with a blue sky. Climb to the top of the mountain, overlook the hills and the Han River in the distance, and reminisce about the past!
There are many places in ancient Longzhong that mention Xi Zaochi. This man may be a strong witness to the "Xiangyang Theory" that Zhuge Liang worked as a farmer himself.
Longzhong should be a must-visit place in Xiangyang. Take bus No. 512 from Xiangyang Railway Station. This place and Nanyang Wolonggang should be considered sister attractions. If you have enough time, it is recommended to visit the two places together.
The scenic area has Longzhong Academy, which introduces Zhuge Liang's life, and is also a patriotism education base for a certain artillery unit. There are Zhuge Hou Temple, Caolu Monument, Ancient Longzhong Stone Archway, Well, Caolu Reappearance and other landscapes. The scenic area is full of towering ancient trees and tourists, making it a good place for weekend leisure and entertainment.
This is where Liu Bei visited Wolong three times, and the strategy of dividing the world into three parts was decided here. It is hard to imagine that Liu Bei was like a fish in water and Zhuge Liang was so disappointed that he had met his master earlier. The ticket for the scenic spot is 80 yuan, and it is free with an annual tourist pass.
Ancient Longzhong was the place where Zhuge Liang, an outstanding politician, military strategist, inventor, and writer during the Three Kingdoms period, lived in seclusion in his youth (17-27 years old). Zhuge Liang spent 10 years in seclusion, chanting and tilling the fields. Zhuge Liang was originally from Langya, Shandong. He lost his parents when he was young, and later followed his uncle to Jingzhou. When he was 17 years old, his uncle died. He came to Longzhong, Xiangyang, where he worked hard and studied, paying attention to worldly affairs. He often compared himself to Guan Zhong and Yue Yi, and was known as the "Wolong" [2]. Later, Liu Bei visited Zhuge Liang three times at his thatched cottage. Zhuge Liang made a comprehensive analysis of the situation of warlords in the world and proposed a strategy of dividing the world into three parts and then unifying it. This is the famous "Longzhong Plan".
