On one side of the Yellow Crane Tower, at the foot of Snake Mountain, there is a building made mainly of red bricks. This is the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the 1911 Revolution. More than 100 years ago, the first uprising in the Red Tower fired the most important shot that ended the Qing government. Since then, the revolutionary storm has spread across the country, and provinces have declared independence one after another. The memorial hall is free, and tickets can be exchanged with ID. It contains a large number of cultural relics and photos, which reproduce the turbulent era chapter by chapter. Fans of the Republic of China and history must come here.

The former site of the Wuchang Military Government is located under the Yellow Crane Tower. A statue of Mr. Sun Yat-sen stands at the entrance, and the red building of the Governor's Office is particularly eye-catching. The park is very clean and the buildings are well preserved. Two or three buildings are open to the public. Not only are there many historical relics before and after the Revolution of 1911, but there are also exhibitions about the modernization process of Hubei. I personally think that the exhibits are very complete and the eras covered are also very meaningful. It is a scenic spot with Wuhan characteristics.

The former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government closes early, at 5 o'clock, and entry is prohibited at 4 o'clock, so between the Yellow Crane Tower and this place, we chose to come here first and then go to the Yellow Crane Tower. You don't need to buy a ticket to come in here, just swipe your ID card. Fortunately, a four-person group that came in before us hired a guide. It is quite expensive to hire a guide alone, so we were very happy to take advantage of their guide. It turns out that there are still quite a lot of people who take advantage of the guide. I watched the four-person group at the beginning gradually develop into a group of more than 20 people. The brother's explanation was quite detailed, and he said more than the female guide next to him.

I wanted to go here after visiting the Xinhai Revolution Museum, but I didn't get to see it because the museum was closed at 16:00. The two names are similar, so I wanted to see what the difference is between the two places. There was a security guard checking ID cards and bags at the entrance. I was wearing sandals, so I looked and they said that sandals were not allowed to enter.

The Wuchang Uprising was an important event in the development of Chinese history, also known as the Wuchang Uprising, which took the lead in launching a revolution to overthrow the feudal monarchy. All Chinese people will remember October 10, 1911. The Red Mansion is a milestone in history.

A few steps after exiting the Yellow Crane Tower is the former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government, also known as the Red Building. It is a brick-concrete Western-style building that has witnessed the turbulence of history and is quite spectacular. Tourists who have time can go and have a look. There is no ticket required for the Red Building. You can enter for free with your ID card, but the inspection is quite strict and you cannot bring dangerous items such as lighters.

The former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government is also called the Red Building. On October 10, 1911, the Wuchang Uprising of the Xinhai Revolution was successful. It overthrew the Qing Dynasty, which was like an old man in his twilight years, and swept away the feudal system of two thousand years. This is a great progress! The guide was very professional and detailed. During the period, he patiently answered many of my puzzles. After a round of explanations, the museum was about to close. I was so fascinated that I only took two photos after leaving the museum. What touched me most was that although we are now in a peaceful era, looking back at the struggles and sacrifices of our ancestors a hundred years ago to change the face of China, they are indeed a valuable resource to inspire us to move forward. Never forget the national humiliation, remember history, and let go of hatred! ! ! Opposite the former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government is the Xinhai Revolution Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall

There are free lectures available, which last about half an hour, and I gained a lot from listening to them.

The former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government, also the former Hubei Military Governor's Office, is a famous cultural relic building from the Xinhai Revolution period.

The main body is a series of two-story buildings with red bricks and red tiles, commonly known as the Red Building. During the Republic of China period, it was the office space for important government officials.

There are two theme exhibitions: one is the "Restoration Exhibition of the Former Site of the Hubei Military Governor's Office", and the other is the "Exhibition of Historical Relics of the Wuchang Uprising of the 1911 Revolution".

The former uses the Red Mansion as a carrier to restore and reproduce the scenes and appearance of the early days of the establishment of the Governor's Office.

The latter is arranged in the Gray Building, located behind the Red Building, and is named because the building is mostly made of gray bricks.

This is a very historic place. It was originally the Governor's Office of Huguang. After the Xinhai Revolution, it became the seat of the temporary government.

Travel suggestions: The former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government and the Xinhai Revolution Museum stand opposite each other, and the two attractions can be visited together.

There is a gray building behind the main building. The main building is mostly a restoration of the old scene.

Bathed in the evening sunshine, I went up to the second floor and thought to myself: I hope I can work here. The buildings on both sides of the main building are all red.

The entire old site is not large, and it won’t take too long to visit the entire site. If you get tired, you can take a rest in the garden in front of the main building.

The temporary government location after the Wuchang Uprising. Many offices have restored the scenes of that year, allowing you to understand how the government operated and the power structure after the successful uprising. The building itself is also very beautiful.

Here you can see the office and meeting place of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government, and many authentic relics from that time. The Wuchang Uprising was the beginning of the Xinhai Revolution, which has an indelible and great significance in the long history of China. Although we can only witness the past venues and objects now, we can still feel the urgency of the situation at that time and the danger and excitement of the uprising.

The memorial is free. You can exchange your valid ID for an admission ticket at the ticket office, pass the security check, and easily enter the memorial. Although the queue is very long, it is fast and you can enter in a few minutes.

The main building of the memorial is a two-story red building, so it is also called the "Red Building".

I suggest you come in and take a look. Whether it is the architectural style or the exhibits, including authentic cultural relics, historical pictures, works of art, charts, models and scenes, it is eye-opening. Even though there are not many open rooms, most of them are office areas.

I always think that the Red Building is beautifully designed, with red bricks, green tiles, and green grass, it has a bit of the flavor of an American university campus.

The Red Building in Wuhan was the office of the Hubei Military Governor's Office after the Wuchang Uprising. It is called the "Red Building" because the main body is made of red bricks. It is a beautiful building, free to visit, and there are few exhibition halls available for visit.

Boys who like modern Chinese history may like to go there and learn who fired the first shot in the Wuchang Uprising. :) I personally think it is a good idea to take your children there. After all, it is a patriotism education base and you can visit for free with your ID card.

Coming out of the Yellow Crane Tower, cross the road and walk a few hundred meters to the Red Building, the former site of the Wuchang Uprising of the 1911 Revolution, which was also the location of the Hubei Military Governor's Office at that time. The red building has the characteristics of southern architecture, and there are some old site displays and historical introductions in the building.

The main building of the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the 1911 Revolution is the former site of the Hubei Military Governor's Office (that is, the former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government). It was built in 1910 and was formerly the Hubei Provincial Advisory Council in the late Qing Dynasty.

Another important reason to come to Wuhan is also the landmark event of Wuhan: the first uprising of the Xinhai Revolution. The feudal social system that had lasted for thousands of years was broken here.

By Deep and Quiet |

Exit the west gate of the Yellow Crane Tower Scenic Area and you can walk directly to the former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government, which is the Red Tower. The Red Tower is free to visit with your ID card, and its tickets are quite nice. Speaking of the Wuchang Uprising, the first sentence that flashes in my mind is: The Wuchang Uprising fired the first shot to overthrow the feudal monarchy that ruled China for more than 2,000 years... Across the road to the south of the Red Tower is the Xinhai Revolution Museum, which is also free to visit. If you are interested, you can visit it together.

No tickets are required here, you can enter with your ID card. There were not too many people when I came on the sixth day of the Chinese New Year. When I entered the scenic area, it looked very solemn and mysterious from a distance. This is the place where the Xinhai Revolution took place. I learned about it and saw it in history textbooks when I was young. I saw it with my own eyes today, and I felt different and excited. The scenic area is not big, and it is called the "Red Building".

Because I wanted to take my children to participate in the activity of "Entering the Patriotism Education Base for Primary and Secondary School Students", I chose the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall and the Museum of the Revolution of 1911. These two places are relatively close, with convenient transportation, well-built venues, rich collections of literature and materials, and great educational significance. My children like them very much. If I have enough time in the future, I will consider bringing the whole family to have a look!

On a sunny morning, it is best to come here to appreciate and recall history, walk around and stop, and feel the changes of time. There are both historical buildings and cultural relics exhibitions that are updated from time to time, which are both educational and entertaining. It is close to the Yellow Crane Tower and the Yangtze River Bridge, but it is not as crowded and noisy as other attractions. It is worth a visit

A short walk from the Yellow Crane Tower is the "Red Building". Although the Red Building is not very large, it has many names. For convenience, I will just call it "Red Building"! Having many names is not a big deal, as long as you remember one thing. This is the iconic turning point of China's transition from feudal monarchy to democratic republic. To be more precise, the "year number" that is still used on the other side of the strait started from here, and October 10th is celebrated every year. When will this family be reunited...

Highly recommended. This is the site of the military government of the Wuchang Uprising. The original house layout has been preserved as much as possible. If there had not been the first shot of the Wuchang Uprising, there would probably not be our modern life today. I think this is a very historically significant site. It takes about 40 minutes to visit.

The former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government is also called the Xinhai Revolution Museum. In the hot weather, I didn't climb the Yellow Crane Tower, so I went all the way to the Xinhai Revolution Museum. It was less than half an hour's walk from the Yellow Crane Tower. Because I was not familiar with the road, I took a long detour. The museum is not big and can be visited in less than an hour. There is no ticket. The staircase building is mainly a Western-style building, mainly orange-red. The plane of the building is similar to the shape of the word "mountain". In the middle is a hall, with a wide view and a magnificent overall view.
