As a local who grew up in Wuhan, I have never been to the scenic spots near Mulan Mountain. I took the opportunity of getting an annual pass to go there and have some fun.

Mulan Tianchi is a national forest park and a 5a-level scenic spot, but I personally feel that it does not live up to its reputation. 4a is still acceptable.

The so-called Tianchi is a small pit between the Mulan Mountains. It has accumulated water over time and has become a reservoir. The environment is OK, but the air is not very good. Maybe it will be better in summer.

Drive from downtown Wuhan via Wuhan Avenue and Daihuang Expressway, and finally drive a short distance on the Loess Road to reach the destination. The entire journey is over 70km.

The loess road was dusty, there were road construction all the way, and there were occasional traffic jams, making driving efficiency extremely low.



Gameplay

After following the Gaode Map navigation and turning left from the Loess Highway into the Shimendao County Road, you will soon arrive at the entrance of the scenic area. There is a large parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area. Because we arrived very early, the parking lot was still empty, so we can continue driving forward and enter a small parking lot next to the scenic spot ticket center. However, there is a fee of 5 yuan per time.

You don’t need to go to the ticket exchange center to exchange your annual tourist pass. You can enter the park by scanning the QR code at the entrance. Very convenient.

In early March, everything is beginning to come back to life. The leaves have not started to grow yet, and it feels a bit withered. But this did not affect our good mood. We entered the park at about 9:30 in the morning, and it took us about 50 minutes to reach the top. After reaching the top, we can see Tianchi. The area of Tianchi is not large. But there is a turn, and I don't know what the scenery will be like after the turn.

While sitting on a chair next to Tianchi Lake, I watched with interest the tourists shouting at the fountain. The so-called shouting at the fountain means holding a microphone and shouting non-stop. The higher the pitch, the higher the fountain will spray. It can be regarded as an entertainment project. I sat there for almost an hour, and on the way back I tried grass skiing, which was quite interesting.

The descent was quite fast, probably took about 10 to 20 minutes. But my calves and knees were a bit uncomfortable. You can choose the ropeway or slide on the way down.

It feels good to climb up from the bottom of the valley. Although it is a bit tiring, the scenery along the way is really unforgettable.



It was almost 12:00 when we left the park. At this time, a large group of tour groups arrived. Fortunately, we didn't meet them.



FOOD

There are rest areas and food supplies for tourists in the Mulan Tianchi Scenic Area. Three skewers of Northwest barbecued meat are 10 yuan, which is really a reasonable price.



Time

The entire scenic area can be visited in about an hour.



On the way back, I wanted to go to the Flower Sea Park, but my friend told me that none of the flowers had bloomed and it was all bare, so I had to give up.



On the way back, the loess road was even more congested. But since we arrived early, it didn't matter if we wasted a little time.



Personally, I prefer East Lake.

April 5. I woke up early the next morning and it was still drizzling outside the window. I checked the weather forecast and it said that Huangpi was basically drizzling. But it seemed to have a break from 9 to 12 o'clock. So I decided to go according to the plan and visit the Mulan Tianchi Scenic Area.

Mulan Tianchi Scenic Area is a national 5A-level scenic area and a national forest park. It is precisely because of this that I chose this place as the starting point of this self-driving tour. The scenic area is mainly composed of three theme gardens, "Romantic Landscape", "High Gorge Family" and "Forest Park", which are linked into a north-south forest landscape canyon that is more than ten kilometers long. The scenic area is mainly for viewing waterfalls, streams, pools, strange rocks and other landscapes. It is said that there is a scene every ten steps and a unique scene every hundred steps. In particular, the water of Tianchi, surrounded by high mountains, is like a mirror, clear to the bottom. The cruise ship rides on the waves and sails through the pool water reflecting the green mountains and white clouds, as if you have come to a fairyland on earth.

The planning of the scenic area is quite good. There are mountains and water along the way. There are many scenic spots. It is very convenient to eat. There are places to eat at the foot of the mountain and on the mountain.

Mulan Tianchi not only has beautiful scenery, but also has many recreational facilities, such as glass bridges, glass slides, zip lines, wire rope bridges, etc., which are enough for a happy day. Go there in the morning and play until dark before going down the mountain. There are also many farmhouses in the Mulan Tianchi scenic area where you can eat. Although the taste is homely, the ingredients are absolutely fresh and worth a try.

It took four hours to get to the bottom of the mountain. There are two roads up the mountain. The near one was closed, and the far one was blocked like pig liver according to Baidu Map. I didn't want to follow the traffic jam, so I just listened to the staff and took two Wuling cars to go up the mountain from the closed road. The total cost of 3.5 kilometers was 80 yuan. The scenic area can only be described as dirty and messy. There is no hot water in the visitor center, and the route design is unreasonable. I was exhausted all the way. I had to walk a long way if I wanted to be lazy and take the cable car. I was tired, but there was no highlight and it was dirty and messy. I climbed for almost two or three hours to the top of the mountain and saw Tianchi. It was extremely disappointing. The whole thing was just a rural playground plus a big pond. If you don't want to walk, you can go down the mountain and take the cable car, but after taking the cable car, you still have to walk a long way to get out of the scenic spot. You can't find a black car after leaving the scenic area, and there is no public transportation, so you can only walk down the mountain. It is absolutely not an exaggeration to describe it as adding fuel to the fire and adding insult to injury. In one sentence, it is "paying for trouble"

During the National Day holiday, I went to visit Mulan Tianchi in Huangpi, Wuhan, but booking a room was a problem.

Our group arrived at the scenic spot early in the morning on October 3rd, and in the two days before that, we changed our itinerary twice due to hotel reservation issues.

The reason is that there are not many houses available around the scenic area. Most of the remaining ones are single-family villas, with a starting price of two to three thousand. There is only three of us, so we don’t need to consider them. Moreover, some farmhouses are also within the scenic area.

It should be ideal to be in the scenic area, right? Unfortunately, if you arrive at the scenic area in the evening, the scenic area is closed (buses, cable cars, and cruise ships are not running). Even if you can enter the gate, how can you walk to the farmhouse an hour and a half away?

Then the solution is to go to the scenic spot early in the morning, leave immediately after the tour, and do not stay nearby.

The ticket price for Mulan Tianchi is 80 yuan per person. The visitor center at the parking lot only sells the first entrance ticket. Any other consumption needs to be purchased inside, such as cable car cruise or other recreational projects.

After checking your ticket and passing the gate, just walk along the tree-lined avenue. It's quite comfortable if there aren't many people.

After walking a few steps, we came across the first attraction in the scenic area: the "Nine-Curve Bridge".

There is nothing special about this "Nine-Curve Bridge". From the bridge you can see the statue of "Mulan" on the lawn opposite. This has attracted many tourists who come to take photos and crowd together.

After crossing the "Nine-Curve Bridge" and "Longyin Lake", you have basically reached the cable car station.

We bought a round trip ticket, which cost 130 yuan per person, which is not cheap. However, the cable car ride to Mulan Tianchi is very long, definitely more than half an hour. The cable car cabins are also very new, and each cabin can accommodate 8 people.

The cable car finally arrived at the station, and when we got off, we saw an entertainment area.

Everyone is familiar with the "grass sliding" activity in this entertainment area (20 yuan per person); but the "shouting fountain" is the first time I have seen it: 20 yuan per person, within one minute (basically shout twice), the height of the fountain will rise differently depending on the pitch of your voice. It is quite interesting. Of course, you have to hold a microphone when shouting.

The boat fare is 30 yuan per person, which is not expensive. We took a boat full of tourists to the far end of the lake.

The boat trip took about 10 minutes. After we got off the boat at the pier, we saw a name "Zhujia Village".

The "Zhujia Village" in the center of the scenic area is like a hub, a town, a market, etc. It is bustling and sells everything. Since we have no shortage of supplies, we didn't ask about the prices of food and just walked forward.

In front of us is the natural scenery area "Gaoxia Fengqing" of the "Mulan Tianchi" scenic area.

It's really average. I walked for more than three hours from Wuhan, but I still can't enter the scenic area! I ordered a few dishes at a restaurant called Wutong Courtyard at the entrance of the scenic area. Not only did they only serve two dishes in half a day, but the bighead carp hotpot was fishy. She also said that we only ordered small dishes and didn't make money. The boss lady is a particularly unreasonable person. People who come to Mulan Tianchi in the future should never come to this restaurant for dinner. It's really a rip-off!

Shimen Mountain in the northern part of Huangpi District, Wuhan City, is 55 kilometers from the center of Wuhan City and 45 kilometers from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.

It is worth recommending. You can walk slowly up the canyon, accompanied by clear and transparent streams along the way. The cool air blows on your face constantly, and you can breathe the air rich in negative ions, which makes you feel relaxed and happy.

Mulan Tianchi Scenic Area is located in Shimen Mountain, Changxuanling Town, Huangpi District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is located in the west of Mulan Ecological Tourism Area and is adjacent to Mulan Mountain and Mulan Lake in the east. It is a national 5A-level scenic spot and a national forest park.

Mulan Tianchi Scenic Area is only 55 kilometers away from the center of Wuhan City and 45 kilometers away from Tianhe Airport. The entire scenic area covers an area of 4,800 acres and is divided into a scenic area and a leisure resort area. Its main peak is 520.6 meters above sea level and belongs to the southern foot of Dabie Mountain.

The scenic area has nice scenery, with winding paths leading to secluded and beautiful scenery, as well as open and transparent views, which makes people feel comfortable.

In my eyes, all mountains are the same. When you reach the top of the mountain, there is only a pool of water... It's not fun at all.

Before coming to Mulan Tianchi Scenic Area, some people said: "If Wuhan people don't visit Mulan Tianchi, they are unworthy of being Wuhan people", "If you visit Wuhan and don't visit Mulan Tianchi, you are unworthy of visiting Wuhan". Only when you really come here, you will know what it means to have a scene every ten steps and a unique scene every hundred steps. Walking around Tianchi, you can always encounter a scenery. In the canyon and mountain stream, the waterfall rushes down, splashing layers of waves on the rocks, and the mountain breeze blows on your face, making you feel cool. Occasionally, you can hear a few crisp bird calls, as if urging us to go up the mountain earlier.

Mulan Tianchi is a national forest park with beautiful scenery. It is an important part of the Mulan Cultural Ecological Tourism Area. The entire scenic area is divided into a scenic area and a leisure resort area. Since the temperature in summer is lower than that in the urban area, it is suitable for summer vacation.

The stairs to the Tianchi Lake are very steep, and everyone feels very tired after climbing up... Mulan Tianchi Lake has grass skiing, slides, zip lines, cruise ships, etc., which are not included in the ticket price and need to be paid separately. Mulan Tianchi Lake is crystal clear. The cruise ship rides on the waves and sails through the pool water where the green mountains and white clouds are reflected, as if you have come to a fairyland on earth... The stone steps down the mountain are quite steep.

There are many straw figures of cartoon characters in the small garden at the entrance of the scenic spot, and many wind chimes are hung on the pavilion. It is quite interesting.

Mulan Tianchi is the back garden of Wuhan. It is very large, with lush trees and fresh air. It is a natural oxygen bar. The lake on the mountain is Mulan Tianchi. Tianchi means the lake on the top of the mountain. The glass sky bridge, cruise ship and slide in the scenic area are all good. It is worth a visit.

Mulan Tianchi Lake has a lot of water. There were more people going there during the May Day holiday. There was a traffic jam on the way back. The most impressive thing was the cableway across the lake. It was so long.

It's worth a visit, and it's best to go there in summer to escape the heat!

It's better than I thought. There is a bus from Huangpi Bus Station that goes directly to the scenic spot. The journey takes about 40 minutes. The last bus is at 3 pm. It was drizzling when I went there, and the mountain was even more hazy and beautiful. If you want to climb the mountain and relax, this place is pretty good! !

I am so tired. It was my first time climbing a mountain and my legs were weak. I thought Mulan Mountain was just a grassland with camping and horses, but it turned out to be like this. I went straight home after climbing Mulan Mountain. I was so tired.

Mulan Tianchi is a national 5A-level scenic spot with beautiful scenery. A glass sky bridge has recently opened. The ticket to Mulan Tianchi is 80 yuan, and the ticket to the glass sky bridge is 30 yuan. You can visit for free with a Tencent Travel e-card.

After much effort, we finally arrived at the Mulan Tianchi Scenic Area. When we got off the car, we found that the sky was very blue and green, as if it had never been polluted. It was very pure, so beautiful, and a very sunny day.

Mulan Tianchi is the most beautiful scenic spot in this trip. There is no temple or place to worship Buddha from beginning to end. It is a completely natural scenic spot with lush trees, many streams, a natural oxygen bar, and a pure sky. This place is so beautiful that it is breathtaking.

Mulan Tianchi and Changbai Mountain Tianchi are the only places I have visited that do not have temples to worship Buddha and burn incense. The beauty is so unnatural and unreal. Pictures cannot fully express the beauty seen by the eyes.

Mulan Tianchi is the best scenic spot in Huangpi. Climb the mountain to Mulan Tianchi, and the scenic area is still under construction at the end. There is a place where Mulan's grandmother lives on it, as well as recreational facilities. Mulan Tianchi has grass skiing, slides, zip lines, cruise ships, etc., all of which require payment. Mulan Tianchi "Food Village" integrates leisure, shopping and dining, and mainly sells Huangpi local specialty dishes, "Huangpi Sanhe" meat cake, meatballs and fish balls; dry pot wild boar meat, braised pork with wheat sauce, Huangpi sugar steamed meat, etc.

I stayed in Wuhan for a week during the Chinese New Year. I chose a remote scenic spot to see. First of all, I started with transportation. After checking and comparing, I decided to take the subway to Hankou Railway Station and transfer to bus 292. There is a bus every 10 minutes. The fare is 4 yuan. I also took the highway. After 7 stops, I arrived at Huangpi New Station in an hour. There are shuttle buses to different scenic spots. It costs 10 yuan and arrives at the entrance of the scenic spot in an hour. This is the fastest and best choice. As for the scenery, probably due to seasonal issues, the mountain is still withered and yellow, and the scenery is not very beautiful. It takes an hour from the foot of the mountain to Tianchi. It is not difficult to climb and quiet. Tianchi is just a big lake on the mountain. It is beautiful, but the air quality is very good! It’s just that you have to go back to the gate before 3 pm, otherwise the car going back will be gone. The chartered car costs 200 yuan. There are really not many people going there. The ticket is 80 yuan, and the student ID is 40 yuan. The road is indeed a bit far! The slide is 30 yuan, worth a try!

The scenery is OK, it's best to go with friends. Zip line, grass skiing, slide, these are more impressive.

I even think it is slightly steeper than the downhill road of famous mountains such as Lushan. However, the mountain is not high overall, so if you don't walk in a hurry, you won't be so tired. One day is enough to visit Mulan Tianchi. There are also places to eat and stay on the mountain. There are also many farmhouses around the scenic area for food and accommodation.

Mulan Grassland is located in Huangpi District, Wuhan City. There are many cultural and ecological tourist areas of Mulan, such as Mulan Mountain, Mulan Tianchi, Mulan Grassland, Mulan Yunwu Mountain, etc. The store price is 80 yuan, and there are discounts for online booking. You can take a transfer bus at Wuhan Port to get there directly. I personally feel that the reputation is greater than the reality. The natural landscape can be given 3 stars at most, and there are many man-made attractions. Many colleges and universities or units will choose this place to organize activities. It can be regarded as the back garden of Wuhan.

Mulan Tianchi is one of the most beautiful and mature scenic spots in Huangpi. I have been there many times, but only found these few photos. I will add more when I find them later. It is a tourist attraction worth visiting.

Self-driving

(1) Take the Wuhan Outer Ring Road from the Wuhuang Expressway, Hanyi Expressway, or Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway to Huangpi Mulan Tianchi.

(2) Take the Daihuang Expressway from Zhuye Mountain to Qianchuan, Huangpi, and take the Loess First-Class Highway. After passing Changxuanling, turn left at Shikesong, and then go forward for six kilometers to arrive.

Public Transportation:

(1) Take bus No. 292 from Hankou Railway Station to Huangpi Passenger Transport Station and transfer to the special bus to Mulan Tianchi.

(2) You can take a special bus from Xinhua Road or Zhuye Mountain in Hankou to Mulan Lake in Huangpi.

There were really a lot of people going with my family on the National Day. The scenery on the way up the mountain was pretty good. The farm food there was not particularly delicious. What I remember most vividly was that it was recommended to take the cable car down the mountain! There were so many people when we were going down the mountain, and the way down the mountain was not the way up the mountain, so you wouldn't see the scenery up the mountain (so if you want to take pictures, take them when you go up the mountain, there will be no scenery when you go down the mountain, and you won't have time to take pictures when you go down the mountain). The way down the mountain is long, narrow, and steep, and there is only one side with an iron lock that you can hold on to. Walking down the whole way, my legs are shaking. It's really easy to go up the mountain, but it's hard to go down the mountain (on the way down the mountain, you will meet old people carrying cable car mats up the mountain. It's really hard for them to carry the mats for tourists to take the cable car down the mountain, and they will walk on the side without handrails. It looks really dangerous. I'm worried for them)

The distance is relatively short, just like sliding on a slide, but you have to control the speed yourself. There is a certain degree of danger. You need to be careful when riding, and then you will return to the starting point soon.

I got up early in the morning and had a bowl of hot dry noodles at a snack bar near the hotel. The taste was okay, but a little dry. Then we took a taxi to the entrance of New World Department Store. Wuhan was really congested, and construction was going on everywhere. From the roads to the houses, everything was gray. We drove for an hour but still hadn't left the city. It took us three hours to finally reach Mulan Tianchi. We were able to catch the high-speed train back to Guangzhou, haha. But there were many bird nests along the way, which was very interesting. My son was counting them. There were at least a hundred, and the most had 4 bird nests nearby at the same time.

Next is grass sliding. You know, I was attracted by the blue and green slide at first. Because I didn't look carefully at that time, I thought it was a terraced field. I thought such a beautiful scenery, how could I not see it? Later, I looked carefully and found out that it was alpine grass sliding. But it was also very attractive. Just imagine sliding down from a height of more than 100 meters. It feels really thrilling and exciting. It is true. I screamed all the way down. LG screamed even more than me, coward! Seeing that there was only more than an hour left before the agreed time to take the bus, I had to go down the mountain reluctantly. First, I felt that the time was too tight, and second, I was too tired. So I decided to go down the slide. The slide is much gentler than grass sliding.
