The Golden Palace is located on the top of Tianzhu Peak, the highest peak of Wudang Mountain. It was built by Emperor Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty.
The Golden Temple is the symbol of Wudang Mountain and also a sign that Wudang Taoism reached its peak with the support of the Ming Dynasty royal family.
The Golden Hall adopted the highest level of architectural design in China at that time – a double-eaved hip roof, which was of the same level as the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City in Beijing.
Standing in front of the Golden Palace, you can have a panoramic view of the scenery of Wudang Mountain.

2024.3.13 After 4 and a half hours of intense mountaineering, we finally got to see the treasure of Wudang Mountain - the Golden Temple; 360 kilograms of gold were used to build the incense peak that has lasted for 700 years. It was worth the trip.
Only the Golden Summit of Wudang Mountain is truly a golden palace. It is the largest bronze-gilded palace in my country. Under the sunlight, it looks like a "Jade Terrace and Golden Palace", and visitors are flocking to it.
The Golden Hall was built by the order of Emperor Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty. This royal building adopted the highest level of Chinese architectural standards at that time. It was cast in Beijing with 200,000 kilograms of copper and 300 kilograms of gold, and then sent to Wudang Mountain for assembly. The castings fit together perfectly and look natural. There is a bronze statue of "Zhenwu" in the Golden Hall, weighing ten tons.
The Golden Hall is the symbol of Wudang Mountain and also a symbol of the prosperity of Wudang Taoism under the support of the Ming Dynasty royal family. The pillars and caissons in the hall are decorated with delicate patterns. A gilded pearl is hung on the caisson, known as the "wind-proof fairy pearl". Legend has it that this pearl can suppress the mountain wind from blowing into the hall door, so as to ensure that the magic lamp in the hall will always be lit.
The Golden Hall, located at the top of Tianzhu Peak, the main peak of Wudang Mountain, was built in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1416). It is the largest bronze-cast gilded hall in my country and the treasure of Wudang Mountain.
The roof of the Golden Palace adopts the double-eaved hipped roof style used exclusively by the royal family. Such a high specification is rare.
The Golden Temple was built six hundred years ago and it still stands proudly after experiencing several lightning strikes.
It is said that the eternal lamp in the hall has never been extinguished for hundreds of years, even in violent storms.
Many tourists go to the Golden Temple to pay homage to the Great Emperor Zhenwu and pray for blessings.
Because the venue was too small and there were too many people, staff members maintained order and urged people to leave as soon as possible.
The Golden Palace, made of copper and gilded with gold, is so golden and priceless that there is even a pure gold brick on the left pillar of the Golden Palace.
Tourists are shocked by the luxury of the Golden Temple, but ignore the base which is more valuable than it.
The stone base under the Golden Palace, the stone underfoot and the handrail, is not an ordinary stone. It is said to be a special stone brought from Shennongjia, Hubei, or a fossil, which contains very old trilobite fossils.
Compared with the Golden Palace, this fossil is more precious and is truly a priceless treasure.
Tickets cost 130 yuan, scenic area bus 100 yuan, insurance 5 yuan, cable car up the mountain 90 yuan, climb to the gate of the Golden Palace (sorry, you have to pay 27 yuan to enter), since you are here, just pay, walk down the mountain and feel that the scenery is really average, come to the Purple Cloud Palace (sorry, you have to pay another 15 yuan to enter), since you are here, just pay, it’s past 16 o’clock when you leave the Purple Cloud Palace, and the bus driver warned us that there will be no cars at 17 o’clock, so we just go back to the hotel. The ticket price of Wudang Mountain is a bit of a rip-off, a gentleman loves money and earns it in a proper way, the ticket price is high, no problem! The problem is that you have to let me appreciate the things!
The infinite scenery is on the dangerous peaks. When I went there during the Qingming Festival, Wudang Mountain received nearly 40,000 people that day. You know. The cable car up is 90 yuan per person. I had to queue up to buy the cable car ticket and queue up to take the cable car. The waiting time was especially long. I stood on the steps for 5 hours. In the end, I could only look at the Golden Palace 20 meters away for 3 hours. I decided to give up and spend 80 yuan per person to go down. Here are some photos for your reference.
A Taoist holy place, a Yongzheng historical site, the Golden Temple is located on the top of the mountain, like entering a fairyland.
We finally arrived at Zhongguan at 8 o'clock and started queuing for the cable car. It took 3 hours. After getting off the cable car, we started queuing up to the Golden Summit again. It took several minutes to climb one or two steps. At 4 o'clock, the staff said it would take another 2 hours to get to the Golden Summit.
Gold is glittering, on the top of the mountain, admiring the ingenuity of the craftsmen.
Reaching the top requires some strength and luck, as the top is often shrouded in mist.
The Golden Temple is located on the highest peak of Wudang Mountain, Tianzhu Peak, which is 1,612 meters above sea level. It is a wooden imitation copper-cast gilded building built in the Ming Dynasty. Xuantian God is enshrined in the temple. It is also said that the Golden Temple is used to avoid lightning.
There are two ancient sacred roads to Jinding, one from the Ming Dynasty and the other from the Qing Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty has gentle steps and good road conditions; the Ming Dynasty has steep steps and poor road conditions. The natural landscapes of the two roads are similar, but the Ming Dynasty road has a more historical feel. To watch the sunrise, it takes at least 2.5 to 3 hours for people with average physical strength to start from Nanyan. If you are short on time, you can choose the Qing Dynasty Ancient Sacred Road.
I don't recommend going there at all, the service is poor, it's just a golden house! Not worth the ticket price!
1. Game strategy:
There are many scenic spots to visit in Wudang Mountain. Here are the four best ones:
First: Tianzhu Peak of Wudang Mountain is also known as Jinding, the highest peak in the local area. It is said that it was the place where the emperor of the Ming Dynasty wanted to cultivate immortality.
Second: Nanyan, there is a dragon head incense inside, which is particularly memorable. It is said that burning incense here is very effective
Third: Zixiao Palace, which is said to be the best place for feng shui in Wudang Mountain and was called Zixiao Blessed Land by Emperor Mingle
Fourth: Taizipo. It is said that a prince in ancient times studied here, hence the name. Families with children can pray here to bless their children to go to high school.
PS: There are so many scenic spots, and the ancient buildings are so big that there are scenic spots all the way, but the most worthwhile places are these four. Find a tour guide to help you plan your time and itinerary, otherwise you will take a lot of detours and waste a lot of time. Secondly, the prayers in each place are different, so don't make a mistake
Jinding is one of the must-see attractions in Wudang Mountain. On Jinding Mountain, you can see all the other mountains, and you can also ride on the clouds. The broad vision, fresh air, and fairyland-like beauty make all your worries disappear. Of course, there is also a saying that if you are in the official career, you should not climb Jinding, in the name of leaving yourself some room for improvement. It is recommended to go to Wudang on a rainy day, so that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of raining at the foot of the mountain, the bright sun on the mountain, and the clouds and mist, which is a special feeling in your heart.
The top of Wudang Mountain is also the highest-level temple in the Wudang Mountain Taoist complex. It is made entirely of gilded copper and is the largest copper temple in the country. It was cast in Beijing and transported to Wudang Mountain. The Zhenwu Emperor is enshrined in this copper temple.
The entrance fee does not include the Golden Summit. It feels like a trap. Is this money used solely for the maintenance and operation of the Golden Summit? Of course, it can also be said to be very humane. If tourists really can't climb up, isn't it a saving?
There is no public toilet sign at the entrance to the pilgrimage gate, and you can't see where there is one. There is an emergency toilet upstairs next to it, but unfortunately only two are open.
On the platform behind the Golden Temple (lower than the ground of the Golden Temple), there stands "Dayue Wudang". In the triangle area under a lower railing, there stands "Wudang Peak". Because it is on the way down the mountain, it is difficult to see this monument without looking back. I thought it should be at the top of Wudang, but the area around the Golden Temple is too narrow to accommodate it. The picture below is a screenshot from the Internet, and it is no longer in that position. In addition, I thought there should be words like "Tianzhu Peak" to mark the altitude, but there is none. A staff member (not a Taoist) pointed to a circle with a diameter of two centimeters on the ground and said that this is it. Look carefully, it is printed with the words "Hubei Wuhan... Surveying and Mapping". But what is being surveyed and mapped?
The trails in Wudang Mountain are so well built. Salute to the craftsmen of all dynasties!
Jinding is a must-visit. To go to Jinding, it is best to stay in Nanyan the night before and go hiking early the next morning. It takes about three hours to reach the top of the mountain. If you take the cable car, you have to go to the Qiongtai one. If you go early in the morning, you can watch the sunrise, which is also a beautiful sight. The only difference is that there are a lot of people. I took the cable car to Taihe Palace, and then hiked to Jinding. You have to buy a ticket, which costs 27 yuan per person. There are many people during the Golden Week, so it is not suitable to go.
We hiked up to Jinding from Wuyaling. We could stay there if we passed Qixingshu (half an hour). We had to climb for another 2 hours the next day. The accommodation was OK and we could take a hot shower. Halfway up, we reached Chaotian Palace, which split into two sides. We took the road on the left, which had a smaller slope. We could stay at Jinling on the left side. It cost about 50-60 yuan per person. The conditions were just average and we couldn't take a shower. But the next day, we only had to climb for another hour to reach Jinding. The next step was the Jinding VIP Building, where the conditions were naturally better. Breakfast was 15 yuan per person.
We stayed at Fenjinling and got up at 4:30 in the morning, just in time to catch the sunrise
It's so beautiful, the sunrise cleanses the soul
You only need to see the paid part once, and you don’t need to climb to the top the second time.
Wudang Mountain originated from history, and now we look at the people living at the foot of Wudang Mountain, and the responsibility and willfulness of the managers. On June 13, I arrived at Yinjie Holiday Hotel 600 kilometers from Ankang City. I asked how much it cost to rent the Wudang Museum. The introduction said it would cost ten yuan. When I asked the No. 39 car parked on the roadside, it would cost 20 yuan, but I was refused. After I complained, the company said! I will ask again later, but there is no follow-up. I think refusing to pick up is a small matter. It reflects the management level of a place, the recognition of a place to develop historical culture and respect historical culture, and the basic respect and attention to tourists. On the contrary, it is disrespectful to the majority of tourists.
The Golden Temple of Wudang Mountain is located in the Wudang Mountain Tourism and Economic Special Zone in Shiyan City, Hubei Province. It was built in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1416). The temple houses a bronze gilded statue of the Great Emperor Zhenwu, which is a rare treasure in ancient Chinese architecture and casting technology. You must visit the Golden Summit when you climb Wudang Mountain.
Beautiful
Because I was particularly eager to watch "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", I finally went there. I suggest that you don't take the cable car when going up the mountain because there are many steps and it is easy to hurt your knees when going down the mountain.
My dog and I climbed up in less than two hours. The snacks in the scenic area, such as millet and peanuts, are especially delicious next to the cableway coming down from the Golden Summit.
The temperature on the mountain is a little different. If you are going to climb a mountain, remember to bring an extra layer.
Friends who suffer from motion sickness can take motion sickness medicine in advance. The mountain road is rugged and winding. My family and I felt like vomiting and felt motion sick, so we didn't see the scenery of Nanyan.
Pay attention. I strongly recommend that you go to Nanyan first and then climb Jinding. Otherwise, it will be very tiring. Remember that it is easy to go up the mountain but difficult to go down. The steps are particularly steep.
I got up at 4am and started to climb the Golden Summit to watch the sunrise. I was lucky and the sunrise was spectacular.
If you want to know what fairyland looks like, you must go to see the Golden Summit covered with snow and watch the sunrise and sea of clouds on the Golden Summit after the snow.
Roofs covered with snow, red walls set off by frost, the sun rising from the sea of clouds, the magnificent buildings are no longer words of imagination, but real existence.
In the human world, it seems like heaven, even a mortal body can give rise to a hint of immortal spirit.
The hard work I had done the day before, climbing the mountain for three hours in the snow, was wiped out.
Jinding is the highest point of Wudang Mountain. It was not easy to build pavilions and towers on the steep cliff of Tianzhu Peak in that era when there were no large-scale construction machinery. Standing on the Jinding and overlooking the endless mountains and peaks below is really moving and amazing.
To go up to the Golden Summit, you must first buy a ticket in front of the Taihe Palace, which costs 27 yuan, in both small and large amounts.
You need to imagine this picture as three-dimensional. The Golden Palace is the highest point. Enter from the South Gate of Taihe Palace, walk to the right and climb up the Jiuliandeng, then go down from the left side of the Golden Palace. If you don't have enough time, you don't need to go around the North Gate.
We were the first group of tourists to climb the Golden Summit that day. Usually, there are many people in the photos of Wudang Mountain tourism. But that day, there were only a few people, as if it was a special event organized for us. At the Golden Summit, we looked at different parts of the mountain. The clouds were very thick in the morning and the scenery below the mountain was not clear. We stayed at the Golden Summit for more than ten minutes and then walked down the stairs.
The buildings on the Golden Summit are very compact and there is not much room for activities. If you come here during the peak tourist season, you will probably have to wait in line.
Going down is to go down from the side of the Parents Hall behind the Golden Temple. The stairs to the Golden Summit are in the opposite direction. The stairs are also very steep. When we get down to the Palace of Supreme Harmony, people all go to the Transfer Hall. My father and I waited for my mother at the bottom of the stairs. My mother walked around the Transfer Hall on behalf of our whole family. Then we went down to the Golden Summit Vegetarian Hall. There is a small courtyard there. Some tourists were sitting in the courtyard waiting for lunch. Vegetarian meals in the vegetarian hall are available to tourists for 15 yuan per person. It is said that the vegetarian noodles there are delicious. The meal is served from 11:15 to 12:15.
The Golden Temple of Wudang Mountain was built in the 14th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1416) and is the largest existing copper-cast building in China. The alloy copper temple, which is made of nine kinds of metals, is commonly known as the Nine-Flower Copper. It is the most magnificent and skillfully crafted of the existing copper-cast temples in China during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and has extremely high scientific and artistic value. The copper-cast roof of the Golden Temple sparkles in the sun, shining with golden light.
Wudang Golden Summit is a must-see when visiting Wudang. However, if you walk up the mountain from Nanyan Palace, you must be prepared. The stairs along the way are daunting. Stairs going up and down the mountain... Stairs... All stairs...
The Golden Summit is built on the mountain and rises with the flow, which gives people a sense of grandeur and majesty, demonstrating the Taoist spirit of the unity of man and nature and reflecting the psychological implications of religious architecture.
I went there during the National Day holiday in 2017. Wudang Mountain has a typical high mountain climate. The mountainside is full of mist, and the top of the mountain is clear. It is a rare sunny day after rain in a year. There is plenty of water vapor in the middle of the mountain. I was lucky to see the 360-degree sea of clouds at the top of Wudang Mountain. Even the kittens living on the top of the mountain came out to see it. So, don't be shaken by the rainy and foggy weather halfway up the mountain. This may be the best time to see the sea of clouds!
Record the stunning sunrise at Wudang Mountain, October 8, 2017.
At 4:15 in the morning, on the hillside of Qixingshu Mountain, it was foggy, rainy and cold, but we set out without hesitation.
Reached the summit at 5:45 am.
6:34 am, God always favors those who are persistent
I went there today and saw termites flying everywhere. It was disgusting. Wudang Mountain needs to be cleaned up. It's a bit messy.
The Jinding platform is very small and it feels crowded even when there are not many people.
The roof looks golden and is said to be made of gilded copper.
The Golden Summit is located at the top of Tianzhu Peak, the main peak of Wudang Mountain, with an altitude of 1,612 meters. The ticket to visit the Golden Temple is 27 yuan. As the top of Wudang Mountain, only by climbing the Golden Summit can you be considered to have been to Wudang Mountain in the true sense.
Located at the top of Tianzhu Peak, the main peak of Wudang Mountain, it was built in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1416) and is the largest existing bronze-cast building in China. The Golden Hall is three rooms wide and three rooms deep, 5.54 meters high, 4.40 meters wide and 3.15 meters deep. It is a bronze-cast gilded, imitation wooden structure with double eaves and ridges, flying wing corners, and the ridges of the hall are decorated with immortals and animals, with vivid and lifelike shapes. There are twelve columns, lotus column bases, brackets and eaves rafters, and the structure is clever and exquisite. On the lintels and ceilings, there are carved decorative patterns such as flowing clouds and spirals, with soft and smooth lines. The base of the hall is a stone platform built of granite, surrounded by stone railings, which is more solemn and dignified.
After getting off the cable car, we climbed up the steps. The reason why we say "climbing up" is because the steps are very steep, but when we climbed up to the Golden Summit and looked at the mountains in the clouds, we felt satisfied. It was really a paradise on earth.
I climbed up to Jinding from Nanyan at 7:30 in the morning and reached the top at 10:30. I have to admire the willpower of the ancients. The cultural relics on the mountain are well protected and the air is fresh.
The tallest bronze-gilded hall in Zijin City is crowded with tourists.
Climbing up the steps of Zijin City, you can reach the Golden Summit directly. The steps to the Golden Summit are narrow and steep, and there are many people, so we were very careful when climbing up, fearing that we would accidentally step on the stairs and give ourselves to the Zhenwu Emperor.
The Golden Summit is located on the Tianfeng Pillar, the main peak of Wudang Mountain. It is the largest copper-cast gilded hall in my country. It was built in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1416). The hall is 5.5 meters high, 5.8 meters wide and 4.2 meters deep. The pillars and caissons in the hall are decorated with delicate patterns. A gilded pearl is hung on the caisson, known as the "wind-proof fairy pearl". Legend has it that this pearl can suppress the mountain wind and prevent it from blowing into the hall door to ensure that the magic lamp in the hall will always be lit. In fact, the mountain wind cannot blow in because the various castings of the hall walls and doors are very strict and precise. There is a bronze statue of "Zhenwu" in the Golden Hall, weighing 10 tons. Outside the hall is a white jade railing platform, and below the platform is the Purple Gold City, which is about 1,500 meters long. The city wall is built of huge rectangular stones according to the mountain terrain. This Golden Hall was built on the Tianzhu Peak, the most majestic and steep peak among the peaks of Wudang Mountain, and has the effect of "the golden palace in the sky".
11:31 Rush to the top of the Golden Summit and worship the Golden Temple! Squeeze into the crowd and see the six hundred year old magic lamp, full of admiration!
They are all part of Wudang Mountain. I went there with my old friends on a snowy day and it felt great.
Jinding is the highest peak among the Wudang Mountains. Most people want to climb to the highest point and see the distant view, so they must go to Jinding. There is an additional 27 yuan ticket here. It is a good place to watch the sunrise. The highest point of the cableway on the mountain is actually at Taihe Palace. It takes about 10 minutes to climb to Jinding after getting off the cableway. There is also accommodation at Taihe Palace. If you go up the mountain too late and miss the cableway time, you can stay nearby for one night because the cableway stops operating quite early and go down the mountain the next day.
The Golden Palace is a gilded bronze pavilion. It was cast in the 14th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1416) and is a large casting in ancient China. There is a 10-ton bronze statue of Zhenwu inside. The Golden Palace has a magnificent shape, elaborate patterns, and a gilded pearl hanging inside. The design is exquisite, just like a wood carving. The expansion coefficient of the components seems to have been considered during casting, and the components are assembled tightly. The tons of castings were cast using the lost wax casting method, and the castings weighing a hundred tons were transported to the top of the mountain for assembly. According to legend, when Zhu Yuanzhang was conquering the world, he once fought against the Yuan army and the whole army was defeated. He desperately fled to a small thatched hut at the foot of Wudang Mountain and begged the Taoist priest inside for help. The Taoist priest said: "If I save you, the pursuers will burn my thatched hut. Where can I live?" Zhu Yuanzhang said: "I will compensate you with a golden palace in the future." So the Taoist priest asked Zhu Yuanzhang to stand under a cypress tree and cast an invisible spell on him. When the Yuan army came after him and couldn't find Zhu Yuanzhang, they set fire to the thatched hut. After Zhu Yuanzhang and the Yuan soldiers left, they found that the Taoist priest had also disappeared. After Zhu Yuanzhang won the world, he ordered his fourth son Zhu Di to build a magnificent golden palace for the God of Zhenwu on Tianzhu Peak of Wudang Mountain. It is located at the top of Tianzhu Peak, the main peak of Wudang Mountain. It was built in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1416) and is the largest existing copper-cast building in China. The Golden Palace is three rooms wide and three rooms deep, 5.54 meters high, 4.40 meters wide and 3.15 meters deep. It is a copper-cast gilded, imitation wood structure building with double eaves and ridges, flying wing corners, and the ridge of the palace is decorated with immortals and animals, with vivid and lifelike shapes. There are twelve round columns, lotus column bases, brackets and eaves rafters, and the structure is clever and exquisite. On the lintels and ceilings, decorative patterns such as flowing clouds and swirls are carved and cast, with soft and smooth lines. The base of the temple is a stone platform built of granite, surrounded by stone railings, which makes it more solemn and dignified. The Golden Temple of Wudang Mountain is an alloy copper temple made of nine kinds of metals, commonly known as Jiuhua Copper. It is the most gorgeous and most skillfully made of several existing copper temples in China from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and has extremely high scientific and artistic value. What is more worth mentioning is the wonder of "Thunder and Fire Refining Temple". Because the copper-cast temple itself is a good conductor, every time there is lightning and thunder, the light ball rolls around the Golden Temple, but the thunderbolt cannot hit the Golden Temple. After the Golden Temple is struck by lightning, it is not only undamaged, without any trace, but the smoke, dust and rust on it are burned off, and after being washed by rain, it is as brilliant as before. This wonder is called "Thunder and Fire Refining Temple". The Golden Temple has been built for six or seven hundred years, but it is still intact and dazzling. At the top of Tianzhu Peak, 1,612 meters above sea level, the temperature difference is large, and metal components will experience serious thermal expansion and contraction. How did the craftsmen of the Ming Dynasty complete these technical problems of making the metal fit tightly without leaving any welding marks? It is still a mystery, which can only reflect the superb casting skills of my country in the Ming Dynasty. Behind the Golden Temple, there is a Parents Temple, and in front of the temple there is a large copper vat. On both sides of the Golden Temple, there are two Taoist token sales points and two fortune-telling places. The Taoist token sales point sells metaphysical tokens such as ancestor amulets, ancestor statues, and zodiac items. The sales staff are all professional and will recommend corresponding tokens based on the seller's zodiac three-combination and six-combination and demands.
The Golden Temple of Wudang Mountain, commonly known as the "Golden Summit", is located at the top of Tianzhu Peak, the main peak of Wudang Mountain. It was built in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1416) and is the largest existing copper-casting building in China. The Golden Temple of Wudang Mountain is an alloy copper temple made of nine kinds of metals, commonly known as Jiuhua Copper. It is the most gorgeous and most skillfully crafted of the existing copper-casting temples in China from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and has extremely high scientific and artistic value. Climbing to the Golden Summit, you can see the surrounding mountains, which are as green as a screen, and the Danjiang Reservoir, which is as blue as a mirror; overlooking the nearby palaces and temples, you can see the beautiful scenery. It is the essence of Wudang Mountain and is worth a visit!
The ticket is 27 yuan, and the price/performance ratio is average. The copper temple is OK to see, but the whole golden roof is very small. Therefore, it would be uneconomical to go to the golden roof, but it would be a pity not to go, which is really useless.
The Golden Hall is a Ming Dynasty copper-cast imitation wood structure palace-style building, located at the top of Tianzhu Peak, the highest peak of Wudang Mountain. There are 12 pillars around it, and the stacked frames, lintels, beams and double-curved and double-raised brackets on the pillars support the upper and lower eaves respectively, forming a double-eaved bottom palace-style roof. On the outer eaves of the hall, there is a gilded plaque with a coiled dragon and a bracket, with the words "Golden Hall" cast on it.
Good, good ...
It is a famous Taoist mountain. People like me are not very fond of it and cannot appreciate it very much, so I only give it four stars.
The Thunder and Fire Refining Palace, it would be a real blessing if you could see it.
This is the Golden Summit, the highest point, you must go! The bronze temple, accompanied by cranes, is a great place to overlook the scenery.
The Golden Temple represents the soul of Wudang Mountain, and its overall design is breathtaking.
About the route to Jinding: 1. Walking up the mountain from Nanyan Palace to Jinding is a regular route, which requires climbing over several mountains along the way and takes about 3 hours. 2. From Qiongtai to Jinding, you need to go directly up the mountain through a valley, which is more intense, about 1 hour and 40 minutes to go up the mountain and about 1 hour and 20 minutes to go down the mountain.
Legends about the Golden Dome: 1. It is true that the Golden Temple glows red during thunderstorms, and the locals have seen it when they were young; 2. When the Golden Dome was built, there were several hundred kilograms of gold left, and the craftsmen did not dare to take it, so they cast it on a stone pillar in the Golden Temple. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to visit the temple; 3. The long-burning lamp in the temple has been burning for 600 years, because the skilled craftsmen of the time used gold to create a special craft, so that the air in the temple does not circulate even when it is windy or rainy, and the lamp will not be blown out. The above is told by the locals themselves. We see a small temple, but we don’t know that there is such an exquisite story inside. It really increases our knowledge~
Bunny, when you are thirsty, LOL League of Legends
It is not very tiring to climb up. I sang folk songs with my good friends along the way. Just a reminder, you must get up early to climb up comfortably~~
Wudang is a must-visit tourist attraction, but eleven people are really too many.
Standing on the high golden roof, you can enjoy the panoramic view.
The Golden Summit is obviously the top of Wudang Mountain, the place with the highest altitude. I think Zhang Sanfeng realized the truth here. "Wipe off the sweat, look at the sea of clouds, and continue to practice Tai Chi." Haha... The road is really rugged when going up, basically with an 80-degree slope, and there are so many people, and people squeeze up. I think it loses its fairyland with so many people, and there are only crowds. In fact, I think it should be very shocking to watch the sunrise from there! It's a pity that I didn't find the right time. I missed its beauty.
Well-known tourist attractions, the experience is not good, a bit dirty and messy.
The highest point of Wudang Mountain is particularly spectacular, and I admire the creativity of the ancients.
The scenery is picturesque and the public facilities are also very good. Going there after snowing in winter should be the best view
In the midst of clouds and mist, I climbed up to the Wudang Golden Palace, expecting thunder and lightning, but there was no thunder and lightning...
After reading other people's travel notes, I realized that what I took was nothing but a quick tour. I can't give others fair advice. Sorry~ But the scenery of Wudang Mountain is still very beautiful, but I feel carsick when I enter the mountain. Wudang Mountain is the most beautiful after snow, but the road is more dangerous. As a girl studying in Shiyan, I don't know much about Wudang Mountain. I am ashamed!
There were too many people, so if I wanted to take a picture without anyone in it, I could only take a close-up of my son on the golden roof.
It was raining a bit when we climbed the Golden Summit, but the foggy scenery was great
It was really cold at the top of the mountain. The scenery along the way was not clear because I took it with my mobile phone. I am embarrassed to upload it. A trip for the entire sales department!
Wudang Mountain Golden Summit is the highlight of Wudang Mountain!
The Golden Summit is the core of Wudang Mountain, surrounded by red walls and green tiles, and the Golden Palace is glittering. All the mountains are in sight.
300 tons of refined copper is produced. Standing dignified on the top of the mountains, you must give unconditional praise
It's okay. Once you get to the top of the mountain, you have to take a look.
The Golden Summit, also known as the Palace of Supreme Harmony, requires an additional 27 yuan ticket. It is located on the top of Tianzhu Peak, the highest peak of Wudang Mountain, which is surrounded by many peaks and reaches the sky. In the tenth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di, the Emperor of Ming Dynasty, ordered the construction. It took four years to build this magnificent complex on the steep peak. After completion, Emperor Chengzu of Ming Dynasty named it "Dayue Taihe Mountain" and named this royal building built on the top as "Dayue Taihe Palace". The overall architectural layout of the palace is based on the natural dangers and the terrain of the mountain, making full use of the natural ups and downs of the mountain shape; in terms of construction, it is solemn and majestic, so as to achieve a solemn and magnificent artistic effect. It is the highest scenic spot in Wudang Mountain. Whether it is a believer, a pilgrim, or a tourist, only by climbing to the top and entering the Palace of Supreme Harmony can you truly reach Wudang Mountain. The Golden Palace is built on the top platform. All the components of the Golden Palace were cast in Beijing, transported by the canal through Nanjing and up the Yangtze River to Wudang Mountain, and assembled and riveted. When the morning sun shines on the top of the mountain, the Golden Palace sparkles in the sunlight, dazzling and spectacular, which further enhances the brilliant color of the "Golden Summit". The palace complex and the sculptures inside are the brilliant pearls of ancient Chinese architecture and casting technology, the historical witness of the wisdom of the Chinese nation and the level of ancient science and technology, and are priceless treasures. Standing here, looking in all directions, the beautiful scenery of 800 miles of Wudang is in full view, and the peaks rise and fall like the waves of the sea. In the moment of stillness, the peaks are surrounded by each other, and there will be an invisible shock that makes people thrilling, and a heart of reverence and piety arises spontaneously.
Among the famous Taoist mountains, only Wudang has the Golden Temple! The Golden Temple is located on the top of the mountain. The top of the temple is made of brass, and it is really golden in the sun! It is hard to imagine how it was built on the top of the mountain. In addition to worshipping the Emperor Xuanwu in the Golden Temple, you can also buy a copper lock in the side temple and engrave the name of you and your loved one on it, and lock it on the mountains forever! Of course, there are many similar practices in other mountains. As the saying goes, if you believe it, it exists, and if you don't believe it, it doesn't exist.
I felt that I was completely fulfilled when I climbed to the top of the Golden Summit.
The Golden Temple is located at the top of Wudang Mountain and is one of the most famous attractions in Wudang Mountain. After climbing Wudang Mountain, I found that the Golden Temple still needs a 27 yuan ticket. Since I have already reached the top, I naturally have to buy a ticket to enter. You still need to climb several steps to the Golden Summit. There are some old religious buildings, and the paint on the pillars has almost fallen off. Climbing to the Golden Summit is a golden temple painted with gold paint, but the Golden Temple is not as big as imagined. Many people are bowing and a little Taoist priest is watching over it. There is nothing special, but the Wudang scenery at the top is really good. The whole tour time of the Golden Temple is about half an hour.
I went to Wudang Mountain with my girlfriend at the end of February 2015. Since we were here, we definitely had to climb to the top. My girlfriend wanted to go to the Zhuanyun Pavilion to say goodbye to the bad luck of the past year. It happened to be the winter off-season when it was not crowded to go to Jinding, so we went. We took the cable car to go up. From the top, you can overlook the whole Wudang Mountain, which is quite good. There seems to be a place on the Jinding to pray for the safety of parents. You can worship for good luck. By the way, you can't take pictures of the statues of gods. There is a saying that it is easier to invite gods than to send them away.
The Golden Summit is the most important attraction in Wudang Mountain. Standing on the top of the first peak, Tianzhu Peak, it is the essence of Wudang Mountain.
Looking into the distance, you can see the beautiful scenery of Wudang surrounded by mountains.
In front of you is a small pavilion of golden bronze. This is a golden palace made of pure copper, which houses a bronze and gilded statue of Zhenwu Emperor.
Standing in front of the Golden Palace, you can see the beautiful scenery of Wudang Mountain, which is 800 miles long.
This is the most popular filming location in Wudang Mountain.
