It was formerly the Ziqiang Academy founded by Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang in the late Qing Dynasty, and later renamed "National Wuhan University". It is adjacent to East Lake and surrounded by Luojia Mountain, with green trees on the campus.
The cherry blossoms are well-known. There are many major cherry blossom viewing spots on campus, including the Cherry Blossom Castle, Cherry Blossom Avenue, Cherry Peak, and Luojia Square. Among them, the "Cherry Blossom Avenue" in front of the "Old Dormitory" is a good place to view cherry blossoms in Wuhan University.
In addition to cherry blossoms, what is more worth seeing are the old buildings; the residential complex for teachers and staff in the southeast of Luojia Mountain adopts the British country villa style as the overall architectural style, and each building has its own characteristics.

There are two types of Wuhan University archways🆕. For a rookie who is traveling with a baby for the first time and has not done a thorough guide, we first took Metro Line 2 to the old archway🤣🤣. Friends who come later should pay attention to the Wuhan University archway that is usually referred to as the new one! Remember~
Unfortunately, today is Monday, so the young lady also experienced the difficulties of migrant workers - the morning rush hour in Wuhan.
Later, I took a 10-yuan taxi with my sister to the main gate of Wuhan University. Then I followed the cherry blossom map app to visit Wuhan University, and walked out of Lingbo Gate along the tree-lined path with cherry trees, maple trees, and camphor trees with tender green leaves. Outside Lingbo Gate is East Lake (unfortunately my phone was out of battery 😩), which is also a great place for taking photos. Walking on the stone bridge less than one meter wide (I can't swim, my legs are weak), facing East Lake, I feel relaxed and happy.
I recommend you to follow Wuhan University’s WeChat public account, which has a “Cherry Blossom Viewing with Audio 🌸). You can listen to Wuhan University’s introduction while walking without a guide…
First of all, let me talk about the reservation. There were too many people making reservations and the server was terrible. I fought for 3 or 4 days before I got one. It was like fighting for a ticket to go home for the Chinese New Year. I wanted to go on the 25th, but I didn’t go until April 1st. The cherry blossoms had basically fallen, so I just visited the "most beautiful university". Then I felt a little disappointed. It was not as shocking as I imagined. If you want to take a big picture here, you can only rely on post-production. Maybe I came at the wrong time. The locals who were traveling with me kept telling me that there was nothing to visit in Wuhan University. I don’t know why you like to come here. The playground is not that big, but it still feels like a scholarly culture. There are also many pieces of grass under the classrooms. Many couples learn to fly kites here. It feels comfortable to study here. But compared to the title of the most beautiful university, I still feel a little disappointed.
Wuhan University's cherry blossoms are well-known throughout the country. We came here because of their reputation, but we didn't expect that a spring rain the night before had knocked down many cherry blossoms, so we couldn't see the beautiful spring scenery. Entering from the National Wuhan University archway, we saw a sign marked "Cherry Blossom Viewing". There are many cherry blossom trees in Kunpeng Square and Cherry Blossom Avenue. If the flowers are in bloom, they will definitely fall in a riot of colors.
The cherry blossoms at Wuhan University originated from Japan. There are more than 1,000 cherry trees on campus, of which Japanese cherry blossoms, mountain cherry blossoms, weeping cherry blossoms and red-flowered high-pot cherry blossoms are the most famous. Among them, the Cherry Garden is the best place to appreciate cherry blossoms at Wuhan University. The Cherry Blossom Avenue has long been famous. The Star Lake cherry blossoms are hidden among pavilions and towers like a fairyland, and the cherry blossoms on Renwen Road, Kunpeng Square and Luojia Villa are layered like a pink world.
Abbreviated as "Wuhan University", it is a vice-ministerial national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is one of the first batch of key universities in the national "985 Project", "211 Project" and "2011 Plan". It is one of the "most outstanding universities in China" listed by the world's authoritative journal "Science". The origin of Wuhan University can be traced back to the Self-Strengthening Academy founded by Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang, at the request of the Qing government in 1893 in the late Qing Dynasty. In 1928, it was named National Wuhan University and was one of the four famous universities in the Republic of China. In 1949, it was renamed Wuhan University. As one of the oldest universities in China, Wuhan University has inherited nearly a hundred years of excellent historical buildings and unique cultural style, and is known as "the most beautiful university campus in China".
Wuhan University is not ordinary, it is called National Wuhan University. There is Luojia Mountain on campus and East Lake outside the campus. There is a shuttle bus at the school gate that can take you to the East Lake. Riding a bike on campus is really a physical challenge, the slope is long and steep. But it is still worth it, I saw the earliest buildings of Wuhan University. This season is not the season for cherry blossoms to bloom, so there is no admission fee and no crowds. There is an art gallery next to the museum in the school, but it is closed on Mondays.
I went straight to Wuhan University, a famous 985 university, and took my children to feel the atmosphere of the ivory tower. I passed by the sports field and sat in the stands and watched quietly for a while. Looking at the young college students, I really want to go to college again. I think the old dormitory of Wuhan University is very special. It is not the season for cherry blossoms to bloom, so I can only take some iconic photos. By the way, I came to Wuhan twice in November, and I didn’t see the most beautiful cherry blossoms in Wuhan University.
▲Coordinates: Wuhan University is very close to the Provincial Museum, so I took a taxi from the museum to the East Lake Gate. I got off at the East Gate, only to find that there was no delicious food there. I was so panicked. I walked for a long time but couldn’t find a good restaurant. I walked from the East Gate to the main gate on an empty stomach. It really took me a lot of time to get to the gate, which is also the archway. It was already dark when I arrived at the gate. I walked from the gate to the subway entrance. I can only say that this university is really big and the environment is very good. It is close to the lake and there are mountains. If it is compared with Xiamen University... I still think Xiamen University is more beautiful because of the weather. That’s all I can say.
National Wuhan University, as a must-visit place when you come to Wuhan, put it on the last day of the trip, because I want to spend a whole day slowly walking around the campus and slowly experience the daily life of Wuhan University students, rather than just taking a quick look and taking pictures of the scenic spots. Take Metro Line 2 to Guangfutun Station, walk out, and walk along a long and quiet alley full of market atmosphere. Wuhan University has no access control and is open to the public. I never know which door to go in. I walked around the faculty and staff apartments and walked forward aimlessly. If you ask me what is the most profound impression of Wuhan University, I will answer: the fallen leaves all over the ground, the golden color everywhere, watching flowers in spring and enjoying leaves in autumn, seems to have become the signboard of Wuhan University. Passing by the library of Wuhan University, watching the students carrying schoolbags in and out, I ignited a desire to study in my heart. Unknowingly, I walked to the main gate archway of Wuhan University. There were only a few individual tourists in front of the archway. Compared with the peak tourist season in March during the cherry blossom season, it was much quieter, but it was just what I wanted. I could take a tourist photo I wanted without crowding. Enter from the main gate and climb up the mountain along Luojia Mountain Road. There are tall sycamore trees standing quietly on both sides of the road, towering like a canopy and extending into the distance.
Wuhan University is so beautiful and so big. You must enter from Luojia Gate, otherwise you won't see the archway. I didn't see it because my friend was too tired to walk through. I think it must be a headache for students living in Yingyuan, after all, so many people walk around on the roof of the dormitory every day. The dormitory is very clean. There is an orange tree outside a dormitory building. I want to eat it. The loquats are all in bloom, I don't know when they will bear fruit
As one of the most beautiful universities in China, Wuhan University's cherry blossom season perfectly combines the cultural heritage of the century-old institution with the romance of spring. Every March, Wuhan University becomes synonymous with romance, with cherry blossoms in full bloom on campus, attracting countless tourists to check in.

Every year during the cherry blossom season, you can see a sea of cherry blossoms when you open the window of the old dormitory. This superior geographical location can be said to have gathered most of the beautiful scenery of Wuhan University. Although the cherry blossoms are not in full bloom now, standing in the old dormitory, you can still clearly feel the beautiful scenery here, and the charm of the Republic of China period still exists.
Wuhan University, referred to as "Wuhan University", is the earliest national university in modern China. Its origin can be traced back to the Self-Strengthening Academy founded by Zhang Zhidong, the Governor-General of Huguang, in 1893 in the late Qing Dynasty. In 1913, it was the National Wuchang Normal School, one of the six national normal schools. In 1926, it was renamed the National Second Sun Yat-sen University. In 1928, it was named National Wuhan University. It is one of the four famous universities in the Republic of China. In 1949, it was renamed Wuhan University and has been used ever since. It is one of the first batch of "Double First-Class" Class A universities in the country, and is a key construction university of the "985 Project", "211 Project" and "2011 Plan". At the same time, Wuhan University is also a famous scenic spot in China and a part of the East Lake Scenic Area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction. The palace-style buildings that combine Western and Eastern styles are simple, elegant, majestic and spectacular. The cherry blossom festival in late March every year attracts thousands of tourists, so it is known as the most beautiful university campus in China.
Wuhan University, sitting on Luojia Mountain and surrounded by East Lake, is known as "one of the most beautiful universities in China". With a history of 126 years, it evolved from the "Self-Strengthening Academy" founded by Zhang Zhidong, the Governor of Huguang, and is the earliest national university in modern China.
The most typical style of architecture in the Republic of China is the combination of Chinese and Western styles. The most beautiful building in the entire Wuhan University is the old library located next to Cherry Blossom Avenue. This building, built in 1935, has the appearance of a traditional Chinese palace, with flying eaves, painted corners, dragons, phoenixes and rolling clouds, which fully embodies the majesty and solemnity of Chinese palace-style architecture.
Another building worth seeing is the Wanlin Art Museum. This building has a very "modern" appearance, resembling a "flying stone" and the bow of a ship. It was designed by the famous contemporary designer Zhu Pei and cost 100 million yuan. Visitors can visit it for free with an ID card.
I don't know when it started, but Wuhan University has become one of the must-see attractions in Wuhan. And Wuhan University is indeed one of the key universities in my country. Wuhan University, referred to as "Wuhan University", is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is one of the first batch of "Double First-Class" construction universities in the country, a key construction university of the 985 Project and the 211 Project; the first batch of first-class network security college construction demonstration project universities, and the first batch of degree authorization independent review units.
Wuhan University traces its origins back to the Ziqiang Academy founded by Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang, in Wuchang in 1893. After a series of changes, it was renamed National Wuhan University in 1928 and changed to its current name in 1949. It can be said to be a century-old institution. In recent years, Wuhan University has become more famous for its cherry blossoms.
There are more than 1,000 cherry trees on the campus of Wuhan University, mainly Japanese cherry trees, mountain cherry trees, weeping big-leaf early cherry trees and red-flowered high-pot cherry trees. From 28 flowers of national humiliation to 1,000 flowers of humanities, they not only witness the changes in the relationship between China and Japan, but also carry the historical heritage of Wuhan University. In mid-March every year, the cherry blossoms of Wuhan University will enter their peak flowering period, and tourists will block the entrance of Wuhan University.
Wuhan University is definitely a leader among Chinese universities. It is worth seeing in terms of the campus' architectural style, infrastructure, academic status, etc. I didn't plan to visit Wuhan University all at once. This time I looked at Xiaohongshu in advance and went to several places that caught my eye: basketball court, football field, outdoor theater, Lingbo Gate, etc. I look forward to seeing you next time.
Wuhan University is a famous university with a history of 100 years. It not only has a strong academic atmosphere, but also has a beautiful campus, which is well-known and known as the most beautiful university campus in the country. The cherry blossoms in Wuhan University are the most beautiful scene!
National Wuhan University, there is no need to introduce too much about this kind of attractions. People who go to Wuhan have nothing to miss. The school is very large, so you still have to choose where to visit. Sakura Garden is the first choice, the oldest campus of the school.
Wuhan University. Wuhan University is most famous for its cherry blossoms, but it is impossible to have cherry blossoms in the hot summer. This is also good, saving the crowds during the cherry blossom season, and you can slowly stroll around Wuhan University. There is no place where you can't enjoy cherry blossoms. Several check-in points of Wuhan University are naturally planned. According to the route, they are Wuhan University Archway, Wanlin Art Museum, Old Zhaishe, 912 Playground and Lingbo Gate.
The blue-gray buildings on the Wuhan campus, paired with peach-colored and white cherry blossoms and yellow rapeseed flowers, are particularly beautiful. The colorful fallen petals and the century-old prestigious university are a perfect place for the development of Roman's story. I really envy the students of Wuhan University, who have the most beautiful university in China.
I have always admired Wuhan University and its famous cherry blossoms.
Wuhan University is so huge, and my sightseeing goals were very clear: the archway - Wanlin Art Museum - Laozhaishe Gate - Lingbo Gate.
There is a car rental service on campus. If you want to travel more, just rent a car. It is best to rent a tram because there are many slopes and it is really difficult to ride.
On the first day, I went to Wuhan University in my free time in the afternoon. Wuhan University is famous for its cherry blossoms. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the campus will attract millions of tourists to enjoy the flowers. We arrived at the end of April, and the cherry blossoms had already withered, so we couldn't see the full bloom.
Going to Wuhan University to see the cherry blossoms was an idea I had wanted to do a long time ago. I had agreed with others to go to Wuhan University to see the cherry blossoms, but for various reasons, we were never able to go. This year, when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, I fulfilled my promise to myself and went to Wuhan alone to see the cherry blossoms I had always dreamed of at Wuhan University. I underestimated the flow of people at Wuhan University. There were a lot of people when I went there... I have seen the cherry blossoms at Wuhan University...
Wuhan University is a higher education institution in the central and southern regions. In the early years, the philosophy department of Wuhan University was very famous. Now, it has become a comprehensive university. Wuhan University is built on Luojia Mountain, with the East Lake Scenic Area behind it. The mountains and forests are dense and the scenery is charming. The famous Cherry Blossom Avenue is even more eye-catching when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Entering the school and passing the memorial archway, you can see a campus bus station. The bus costs 2 yuan per person and can take the bus to the library and other old buildings of Wuhan University and Cherry Blossom Avenue.
Wuhan University, abbreviated as "Wuda", is a famous comprehensive research university in China. It is also the earliest national university established in modern China. In addition, Wuhan University is also a part of the East Lake Scenic Area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Of course, this trip to Wuhan was also to enjoy the cherry blossoms with the arrival of the Qingming Festival. Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms are gone at this time, which is quite a pity. However, it is still very pleasant to walk around the university while the weather is still good.
Although I missed the cherry blossom season, Wuhan University is still worth a visit. The ridge beasts on the eaves of the old dormitory are so cute, five of them lined up in a row, the first one looked back... The peacock blue glazed tiles are very beautiful...
I only passed by the swimming pool at the back door, because the cherry blossom season at the front door was a little over, so I was too lazy to go there. Sitting here and reading the travel guide for the front door also counts as a visit, haha
This is a famous university. Even if it is not cherry blossom season, you can still go to the campus to experience it.
No. It's better during the cherry blossom season. Make an appointment in advance.
The most beautiful university, bar none. This is not a school, it's a park.
Wuhan University is surrounded by East Lake and sits on Luojia Mountain. It is simple and elegant. For more than a hundred years, the East Lake has been surging and the Luojia Mountain has been blowing.
Generally, when visiting Wuhan University, one enters from the main gate (also known as the South Gate), where the "National Wuhan University" archway is located.
My personal tour order: Main Gate - Wanlin Art Museum - Old Gymnasium - Old Dormitory - Old Library - Lingbo Gate. I also visited some buildings whose names I don't know.
The entire campus is very large, especially Lingbo Gate, which is far away. If you don’t want to walk, you can ride a bicycle, but there are many uphill roads.
If you have little time, it is recommended to only visit the Wanlin Art Museum, the old residence, the old library, and Lingbo Gate.
Ancient buildings from the Republic of China and blooming cherry blossoms in spring are must-sees in Wuhan, which has a variety of scenery.
It is more suitable to go to Wuhan University during the cherry blossom season. There is a cherry blossom avenue inside, which is considered a good place to enjoy cherry blossoms in China.
I often come here to take photos. The cherry blossoms are very beautiful when they are in bloom, but it is really difficult to book tickets now.
I went to Wuhan University in 2017. I took the high-speed train from Guangzhou on a good day. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom at this time.
After coming to Wuhan University, I want to take the college entrance examination again. It's really beautiful.
I came here at the end of May. There were no cherry blossoms on Cherry Blossom Avenue, and Wuhan University was too big, so I was tired from walking there. However, the wind in East Lake was excellent.
The front of the main gate archway reads "National Wuhan University", and the back is in seal script "Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, and Medicine", which is hard to read. Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms had already withered when we arrived.
After climbing Luojia Mountain, there was no guide and we turned around hastily. The school cafeteria is delicious and cheap, and supports Cloud QuickPass scanning~
It was my first time visiting Wuhan University, and I was a little disappointed that I didn’t see the cherry blossoms. However, the scenery was still good and worth a visit.
A beautiful university. There will be more people during the cherry blossom festival. The East Lake is right outside Lingbo Gate, and the scenery is beautiful.
Regardless of whether there is a cherry blossom festival or not, you should go to the Wuhan University campus. The traditional Chinese architecture has a great feel. I just hope it doesn't affect the students' daily lives. I envy you.
Wuhan University is still crowded with people even without cherry blossoms in full bloom. You can imagine how crowded it must have been when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Wuhan University is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and its buildings are simple and elegant. It is indeed a very beautiful university.
As someone who came here every year to see the flowers ten years ago, the huge crowds during the cherry blossom season are naturally not a good experience. However, the combination of ancient buildings and cherry blossoms is also a rare beauty, and what you see is actually the weight of history. However, I also recommend the cherry blossoms next to the Xinghu Lake of the School of Information Science, which are also very beautiful.
Very beautiful Republican-era buildings, but for a university campus, the number of tourists seems to be a bit too much. (Although I am also a tourist)
Very good, I recommend you to go there if you have time.
This is a good attraction in the city, because I personally prefer places with a scholarly atmosphere. If you are visiting Wuhan for the first time, you can still come and have a look. Other parks are not very special. You can learn about the 5A attractions in Mulan Township.
It is no exaggeration to say that Wuhan University is known as the most beautiful university in China. Not only does it have romantic cherry blossoms in the spring, but it also has golden ginkgo trees in the autumn, making the autumn scenery even more charming!
I was lucky to see the cherry blossoms in the evening when I went to Wuhan in early November. It was a special experience to visit Wuhan University in the rain.
It was a bit too big, so I just walked randomly and ended up at the main entrance.
It's quite big inside, so walking is not recommended. It's recommended to ride a shared bicycle.
When you come here, it is best to rent a 🛵 to go around and have a campus lunch in the canteen. However, Donghu does not allow 🛵 to enter, there is a Mobike inside
The only thing is that there are no road signs, and I don’t know which one is which. I can’t find the way up Luojia Mountain, and I feel dizzy when I walk around.
The cherry blossoms had already withered when we went there, but they were still beautiful.
Wuhan University is still worth a visit. It may be more comfortable in summer, and you can see cherry blossoms in spring. East Lake is a 5A-level scenic spot, and Wuhan University is also part of it. I will go there next time if I have the chance. It is still too cold in winter!
Wuhan University is half mountain and half water. The elegant Republican-era buildings, the winding paths, and even the grass, trees, bricks, and tiles all make people stop and linger. Students struggle and grow here, and I hope my jump did not disturb them.
Wuhan University… As the top university in South Central China, it is definitely worth a visit. The cherry blossoms in East Lake have been famous for a long time. The campus is large, the greenery is well done, and the academic atmosphere is quite strong. It is suitable for a leisurely stroll.
I went there because of its reputation. The archway of Wuhan University and the Internet celebrity dormitory are beautiful pictures. However, it is too big. I couldn't turn around even on a shared bicycle. And going up and down the slopes is extremely exhausting.
Wuhan University is so beautiful. I feel like I am attending a fake university.
Enter from the main gate archway, walk to Wanlin Museum, then walk through the cherry blossom avenue to Wanzhaishe, and finally go out from Lingbo Gate to see the curved bridge, perfect! 😎
Super big oxygen bar!! I like it very much. It's just too big. There are campus buses on campus... You can find the recommended tour map of Wuhan University on the Internet. Just follow the map after entering.
The legendary "Learn from the Han Wu Liguo", the question is, who is Wu Liguo? Why should we learn from him?
Haha, the old buildings inside are so beautiful
The cherry blossoms at Wuhan University are beautiful, but you need to make an appointment in advance
Although the weather is not very good when I come to Wuhan University in winter, the scenery is still beautiful. The scenery in the drizzle is very special.
Although it's not the cherry blossom season, it's still ok to feel the atmosphere
I heard that the cherry blossom garden in Wuhan University is very beautiful, but I couldn't see it in October. However, Lingbo Gate did not disappoint. It is a good place to relax and chat while looking at the mountains and water.
The sun is so nice, it’s finally here.
Be virtuous and be willing to endure all difficulties, and strive for self-improvement.
Although there are no cherry blossoms and everything is green, I am happy to take a photo of a road sign. The students of Wuhan University are so lucky. Wuhan University is so beautiful.
Beautiful scenery and distinctive features! One of the oldest universities in China, known as the most beautiful university campus in China!
An institution of higher learning surrounded by beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, with buildings dating back to the Republic of China period.
A good place to see girls, but don't go during the Cherry Blossom Festival because there will be too many people.
The architecture of the Republic of China is worth seeing even if it is not cherry blossom season. There are buses on campus, 2 yuan per person for non-campus people, with fixed stops. The whole campus is very large. I got off at Cherry Blossom Avenue. It is mainly dormitory buildings. The old buildings are still on the hillside a few stops behind, which feels like an old campus.
When thinking of seeing cherry blossoms, the first thing that comes to mind is Wuhan University. In fact, there are not many cherry blossoms in Wuhan University. The ones in Moshan Cherry Blossom Garden are more numerous. The cherry blossoms in Wuhan University only grow on both sides of the road, and some grow in the garden, which is difficult to touch. The cherry blossoms inside Wuhan University are quite large.
Wuhan University is located on a small hill with large ups and downs. You can practice climbing by riding a bike on campus. When you come here, you will reach the halfway point of Lion Mountain of Wuhan University. There is a road on the halfway point, which is the famous Cherry Blossom Avenue. Every spring, young people from all over the world gather here. On the north side of Cherry Blossom Avenue, there is a magnificent building that combines Chinese and Western styles, built on the south slope of Lion Mountain. The roof adopts a Chinese eaves structure, and there are three Roman arches on the main body of the building, and the arches run through the main body of the building. There are multiple stairs in the arches leading directly to the top of Lion Mountain.
A benevolent man loves mountains, a wise man loves water.
【Wuhan University】
Wuhan University is the most beautiful campus beside East Lake. It is located on the high Luojia Mountain, surrounded by mountains and water, and the scenery is very beautiful.
~Predecessor
Wuhan University was founded in 1893 by Zhang Zhidong, then the Governor-General of Huguang. It was originally named Ziqiang Academy, and its major was foreign languages. It was designed to train a group of diplomats proficient in various languages for China. It was the earliest national university in China. This year was exactly the year before the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895.
Here we see the name Zhang Zhidong again, a representative of the Westernization Movement in the late Qing Dynasty, who advocated "Chinese learning as the basis, Western learning for practical use" in politics. He founded and reorganized many academies and schools in Hubei, Jiangsu and other places, including the Self-Strengthening School, the predecessor of Wuhan University, and the Sanjiang Normal School, the predecessor of Nanjing University.
~School Establishment
In July 1928, the National Government decided to build a national institution of higher learning in Wuhan based on Zhang Zhidong's Self-Strengthening Academy. Minister of Education Cai Yuanpei appointed the establishment of the National Wuhan University Architectural Committee. After surveys by geologist Li Siguang and forester Ye Ya, they believed that the area around Wuchang East Lake was the most suitable site for the university.
The committee, represented by Li Siguang, unanimously agreed that "natural scenery is not only unique to domestic universities, but also rare in foreign universities." This is in line with the traditional Chinese concept of "the benevolent enjoy mountains, and the wise enjoy water" in selecting a location.
After several years of construction, Wuhan University officially moved in in 1930. The campus is surrounded by East Lake and sits on Luojia Mountain. The early palace-style buildings that combine Chinese and Western styles are simple and elegant, majestic and spectacular, and breathtaking. At that time, it was regarded as "a masterpiece and model of modern Chinese university campus architecture."
Highlights
Nowadays, when you come to Wuhan University, you will not only see the large fields of cherry blossoms on campus every spring, but more importantly, you will appreciate the famous buildings from the Republic of China period, including the Songqing Gymnasium, the old dormitory in the Sakura Garden, the administrative building, the old library, the Science Building, Banshanlu, Building 18, etc. Each building reflects that in that chaotic and turbulent era, the Chinese people were full of hope and spared no effort in cultivating the next generation of talents.
Now, the trees on the campus have become pillars of the country. Among the lush forests, there are more new buildings. The iconic buildings such as the Law Building, Business Administration Building, and Foreign Language Building of Wuhan University are equally majestic. The old and new buildings complement each other. While praising this unparalleled campus building, we must also praise the backbone of the motherland that has been cultivated here.
~Wish
East Lake Luojia, the mountains and the water allow every student who enters Wuhan University to fully enjoy this garden-like campus, the beautiful palace-like buildings and the rippling blue water. All of these are where their dreams begin. Come in and let the dream begin, go out and make the dream come true.
