During the 4 hours that Micheala and I walked, we met people 4 times, 3 of which were foreigners, and only once was a Chinese. While walking and chatting with her, she said that I was the least Chinese-like Chinese she had ever seen. Because in her eyes, traveling and hiking alone are things that only foreigners do.

I walked up the stairs to the bottom of the mountain, where the road was flat. It wasn't tiring at all, but it still took a long time to walk.

The water of Golden Whip Creek is super clear.

Monkeys are seen near the Golden Whip Stream. There are also some newly born monkeys. They cling to their mothers, and their big eyes are super cute. Some tourists will give them food, and they are not afraid of people anyway, just walk on the side of the road. But it is best not to give them food, because they will snatch the food, which is very scary. And if you give them snacks or something, it feels bad for their health.

The Golden Whip Stream is located in Zhangjiajie. It is named after the Golden Whip Rock that it flows through. It is 5,710 meters long. The Golden Whip Stream is the most beautiful area in Wulingyuan. After entering the gate of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, walk about 300 meters forward to the entrance of the Golden Whip Stream. The main scenic spots include the Drunken Arhat, the Condor Guarding the Whip, the Golden Whip Rock, the Flower and Fruit Mountain, the Water Curtain Cave, Splitting the Mountain to Save the Mother, the Thousand Miles Meeting, Nanmuping, and the Water Surrounding the Four Gates.

In this quiet world between the mountains and the forest, she is like a beautiful girl raised in the boudoir, sometimes gentle and restrained, sometimes lively and dancing, and she has become soft and soft among the mountains. The clear and pure stream water is clear and bright, but not monotonous and transparent. The golden quartz sandstone, colorful pebbles and plants that fall into the water are intertwined and melted in it, rendering the Jinbian Creek colorful. In the gentle part of the stream, small fishes and tadpoles swim happily, enjoying the gentle caress of the Golden Whip Stream; at the fault of the rock pile, the gentle Golden Whip Stream suddenly becomes lively, and the white waves embellish this beautiful girl who is as pure as ice and jade.

The deeper we go, the more lush the forest becomes, blocking out the sun and seeming to turn this land into a paradise. The cool breeze and moist air are refreshing and refreshing, awakening every cell in my body, and I feel that my whole body is re-injected with vitality. "The long road is far, the dream is cold and clear" may describe this scene.

The Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long. We walked slowly and it took us more than 4 hours to get out of the Golden Whip Stream. Along the way, we saw many families, young and old, coming here to play together, and some were mothers and daughters traveling together.

Jinbian Creek is a beautiful stream formed naturally, winding through the mountains and valleys. Tourists describe it as "flowing continuously during a thousand years of drought and flowing green for ten thousand years of continuous rain". Jinbian Creek is one of the earliest developed scenic spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is a must-see attraction for tourists in Zhangjiajie. In addition, you can often see the "baby fish", a national second-class protected animal, in Jinbian Creek.

There is a spot I really like. When we went there it was not the peak season, it was the end of October, there were very few people and it was very quiet. It is a natural oxygen bar corridor, surrounded by mountains on both sides, with a stream in the middle. It is like being in a paradise, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. You can calm down and feel it slowly, which can make your impetuous mood become quiet all of a sudden. When you are under great work pressure or in a bad mood, walking along the stream will make you feel cheerful. It should also be a good place for a summer vacation.

At the entrance of Jinbian Creek, outside the gate of the forest park stands a full-length statue of the painter Wu Guanzhong. It was because he was invited to Hunan in October 1979 to draw a giant landscape draft for the Hunan Hall of the Great Hall of the People that Zhangjiajie, which was hidden in seclusion and unknown to the world, became famous all over the world.

The Golden Whip Stream is 5,700 meters long and is named after the Golden Whip Rock where the stream flows through. The main scenic spots include Drunken Arhat, Eagle Guarding the Whip, Golden Whip Rock, Splitting the Mountain to Save Mother, Meeting at a Thousand Miles, and Water Surrounding Four Gates. Among them, Golden Whip Rock rises more than 380 meters from the ground. When the sun shines, it will reflect a glittering golden light, hence the name Golden Whip Rock. There are two ways to get to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area on the top of the mountain from the Golden Whip Stream. One way is to walk to the Qianli Meeting Point of the Golden Whip Stream and then walk up to Yuanjiajie on the Luancuan Slope, which takes about an hour; the other way is to walk to the end of the Shuirao Simen, then take an eco-friendly car to the Bailong Elevator Station, and then take the elevator to Yuanjiajie. When I visited Zhangjiajie in 2014, I entered the scenic area from here and walked to Yuanjiajie. If you don't go to Yuanjiajie, you can only return the same way.

The air quality of Jinbian Creek is 100% good, and the negative oxygen ion content in each cubic centimeter of air is more than 100,000. It is known as China's largest "oxygen bar club". Some medical professionals say that the negative oxygen ions in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park can cure diseases, especially for hypertension, sleep, asthma and other diseases. It is said that Nancy Dick, the former female governor of Colorado, once exclaimed that "every breath here is worth $5".

The Golden Whip Stream is six or seven kilometers long, connecting the landmark gate and the South Gate. Few tour groups complete the entire journey, so there are many people at both ends and relatively few in the middle. There are also many monkeys in the Golden Whip Stream, so be careful not to feed them. There are many plum blossom piles in the second half of the Golden Whip Stream, and children love to play with them. The end of the Golden Whip Stream is the South Gate. After exiting the South Gate, take a 10-yuan shuttle bus to the landmark gate. There are several types of shuttle buses. Remember to ask clearly whether it is going to the landmark gate. You can also get off at the hotel entrance halfway.

It takes about two hours to walk along the water's edge. All the way you look up at the various mountains. There are very few tourists on this section of the road. In this natural green, with the drizzle, you will forget about the world and feel relaxed and happy.

Jinbian Creek has excellent air quality and is also my favorite place.

If you travel with children, you must go to Jinbian Creek, because there is water all the way, which is super suitable for children to play.

The Golden Whip Stream is less than 8 kilometers long and it takes about two to three hours to walk and play along it.

There are so many monkeys along the way, they are not afraid of people at all, and they are even a little fierce. Be sure not to leave snacks or fruits out, because the monkeys will snatch them from your hands in a minute. I saw a child's ear scratched by a monkey on the road, so parents should pay attention to their children.

To get to Jinbianxi, you take the free shuttle bus to Shuiraosimen, but this bus also goes to Yuanjiajie. The driver will ask in the car whether you want to get off. The person in the front can't answer, and we sitting in the back can't hear clearly. Fortunately, I saw that we had arrived and told the driver. We had already been to the mountain, so we walked from Shuirao Simen to the Oxygen Bar Square. The whole journey was about 7 kilometers. There were fewer people after 2-3 kilometers, so we could take photos and play in the water. But the latter part was actually better. We heard the monkey king call and all the monkeys climbed up the mountain. The scene was spectacular. It was the first time we saw so many monkeys. We almost came to Monkey Mountain but were busy taking photos of monkeys and forgot to take photos at the Oxygen Bar. It was quite tiring to walk these 7 kilometers in the hot weather. We were going to Zhangjiajie city in the afternoon. If you come by yourself, you can walk one kilometer here at the Oxygen Bar Square to see the monkeys playing in the water and then turn back to Huangshizhai. You can't see any monkeys at Shuirao Simen. There was a car going to the sign gate opposite the railing after you go out. We asked the driver if he could take us to the hotel. The driver said as long as it was on the way, it would be 10 yuan per person, and you could pay by scanning the QR code on WeChat.

The Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area is a prime tourist area in Zhangjiajie. It is 5.7 kilometers long and takes two hours to hike. The stream originates from Tudiya and runs from the Zhangjiajie Forest Farm to Shuiraosimen. It is winding and extremely quiet. After visiting Huangshizhai, we went to visit Jinbian Creek, walked along the creek and admired the hills of different shapes, and walked all the way to the Shuirao Simen and then exited the scenic area.

Because we were in a hurry, we only walked to Qianli Xianghui and then turned back, which was just over one-third of the way. I felt that the scenery along the whole way was similar and did not attract us to walk further. I felt that the Golden Whip Stream section was about the same length as the descent of Tianzi Mountain. I personally felt that it was not necessary to walk the entire way.

It runs through the entire Zhangjiajie Forest Park from west to east. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, moving with the mountains, passing through peaks, valleys and clouds, and extending among the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers.

Since it takes about three hours to walk along the entire Golden Whip Stream, and the road from Zhangjiajie Forest Park Station to the landmark gate is under repair, the return trip is very inconvenient, so we walked along the Golden Whip Stream for a short distance and then returned to Shuirao Simen. But this short one-hour journey gave us many surprises. The Golden Whip Stream is clear, winding, sometimes turbulent, sometimes gentle, with strange peaks on both sides and shaded by ancient trees. "If the immortals walk in the painting, they look into the sky with every step", just like a "landscape gallery". There are also golden whip monkeys around, sometimes playing in the water, sometimes welcoming us, and sometimes chasing and playing, bringing a bit of noise to the quiet canyon.

Then, if you want to leave from the Forest Park exit, it is recommended that you do not arrange the Jinbianxi itinerary at the end, otherwise you will have to walk 15 kilometers back and forth. However, if you live near the Wujiayu exit, you can arrange it at the end of the itinerary, provided that you are willing to walk from beginning to end for two hours before you can leave.

When walking along the plank road of Jinbian Creek, you may encounter wild monkeys at any time, which will snatch food from people.

There are a lot of monkeys, and you can often see a large group of them walking around. They like to play by the stream, and some even perform diving performances.

The water of Jinbian Creek is very clear and cool, and many tourists go there to play in the water. If you want to go to Yuanjiajie, you can go straight into the mountain from Jinbian Creek. It is really beautiful with clear water and mountains. There are a lot of fish in the water, and many people go to fish. Haha, every corner is picturesque.

It was midsummer when I went there, and the water level in the stream was relatively low. The scenic area is not large, but the climate is comfortable. There is nothing memorable.

This section is worth walking. Go there in the morning when the dew has not yet dissipated. It is especially beautiful in the morning light before the sun rises. I was afraid that there would be too many tour groups, so I entered the area at 7 o'clock and went directly to Jinbian Creek from Wulingyuan District. There were not many people along the way and the scenery was very good.

Jinbian Creek is a long stream. You can walk along the stream from Zhangjiajie to Suoxiyu. It flows slowly through Zhicaotan, Tiaoyutan, Nanmuping and Tianzizhou, and finally flows into Lishui River from Suoxiyu. The canyons on both sides face each other, and the red rocks and green trees are reflected in the stream. Walking on the trail beside the stream, you will feel cool and refreshing. The whole journey is 7.5 kilometers. We walked for more than 3 hours. It can be said that we were looking at the stone pillars at the foot of the mountain. It was really amazing. The air was great. From Shuirao Simen to Yangba Square, the scenery was good and the air was beautiful. The 11-year-old child was a little interested in playing in the water at the beginning, but then he lost interest. Thanks to the 3 places where wild 🐵 appeared along the way, we finally took him to the end. Bees, please note that there are not many toilets along the way, so don't miss them. The whole journey was clean and tidy. I am grateful to the sanitation master for the timely cleaning. It is also a bonus shared by all tourists for civilized travel.

Golden Whip Stream is also in Wulingyuan like Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie. Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie are on the mountain, while Golden Whip Stream and Shilihualang are at the foot of the mountain. You can still enter from the landmark gate and take the scenic bus to Golden Whip Stream and get off.

I really like Jinbian Creek, or I especially like the gurgling water in the mountains. Mountains without water are a bit monotonous, and water without mountains lacks three-dimensionality. Jinbian Creek flows in the valley, with dense forests on both sides. It is fresh, quiet and very pleasing. There are many tourists at the entrance of Jinbian Creek, but there are not many people after walking inside for 20 minutes. Walking in the mountains and forests with a backpack, accompanied by the stream, isolating from the noise of the crowd, as if you can hear the whispers of elves in the wind and water, and people's little thoughts are also aroused. In such a good place, you always want to walk hand in hand with someone.

After all, traveling with a tour group is not free. Not long after I walked, the tour guide reminded me that it was time to gather. I hurriedly took a few photos and rushed back. The best place to take pictures of Jinbian Creek is the stone in the middle of the creek. Climbing the stone is time-consuming and a bit dangerous. I reluctantly gave up. Friends who like the creek can spend more time here and will not be disappointed.

There are many monkeys in Jinbianxi and Shilihualang. The big monkeys sit on the high branches to sleep, and the small monkeys swing on the branches. Occasionally, one or two run down to eat the food given by people. They are quite arrogant.

It was a pure hike. Once the arrow is shot, there is no turning back. It was probably about 5 or 6 kilometers, I can’t remember exactly, but it was just walking along the stream in the mountains. The scenery was pretty good.

We started walking along the six-kilometer Golden Whip Stream. We didn't savor this section of the road carefully because we were in a hurry. However, the main scenery is the mountains, trees, streams and individual monkeys along the way. In fact, walking all the way is like feeling the scenery. We walked at a normal and slightly faster speed, rushing for time and exercising at the same time, and it was also within my mother's physical tolerance. It should have taken about an hour and a half, and we took some photos along the way. The overall feeling is that the air is very good, the road is easy to walk, but it is a bit wet, basically flat, suitable for hiking. The scenery is also OK. It passes the filming location of Journey to the West. It seems that ordinary teams will not take hiking. You can go to the Luanchuanpo to climb the mountain at the Qianli Meeting in the middle.

Along the way, you can say that "strange mountains and rivers are unique in the world". It was raining from time to time that day, and the stream was full of water. Walking along the stream, the sound of water was endless. It was less quiet than before, and more of the sound of rushing rocks. The gentle Jin'e Creek in the past became roaring. This place is known as the oxygen bar of nature. You can feel the abundant negative ions when you breathe. There are also cute monkeys, which are much more obedient than the monkeys in Mount Emei, and seem to be a different species.

Walk about 500 meters from the gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, turn left at the intersection to Huangshizhai, and turn right across the small bridge to enter Jinbian Creek. The whole journey is about 5 kilometers, and it takes about 2 hours to walk. The road is relatively flat, with few steps up and down, and the end point is Shuirao Simen.

The round trip was 14 kilometers, and it took about two hours one way. There were many little monkeys here, unlike the monkeys in Mount Emei who searched bags for food. The little monkeys here were more reserved and only took things from tourists.

Coming out of Jinbian Creek is the Oxygen Bar Square, which has a very high concentration of negative oxygen ions. Take a few breaths.

There are many wild monkeys in Jinbian Creek. Don't think monkeys are cute. When you see a monkey, you should rush up to hug it and touch it. The monkeys in it are very wild. Be careful not to be scratched by them. It is recommended that girls do not wear skirts. Some monkeys will lift girls' skirts when they are naughty. Don't hold snacks in your hands. At the beginning of April every year, Jinbian Creek has already presented a green world. Jinbian Creek got its name because of the abundance of golden sandstone. Under the sunshine, the creek looks golden and sparkling, which is so beautiful that it makes people intoxicated. The dense forests in the Jinbian Creek area have also become a world for monkeys. There are many monkeys in groups here. Many tourists will feed them the food they bring, but they must be careful, because they sometimes snatch things from tourists' hands or even bags.

Walking along the Golden Whip Stream, surrounded by green trees and flowers, strange peaks and rocks, and groups of monkeys, one feels relaxed and comfortable.

Many tourists even take off their shoes and socks and play in the stream here. Walking in the stone corridor can also stimulate the acupuncture points on the soles of the feet and make people feel comfortable.

The Golden Whip Stream is 6 kilometers long and has water flowing all year round. It is said that there is a creature in the river of the Golden Whip Stream that has existed for 400 million years - the giant salamander (baby fish).

Walking along this peaceful and Zen-like stream brings a sense of tranquility and coolness. The clear water, swimming fish, and beautiful flowers and plants here make people's hearts transparent.

The Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area is a prime tourist area in Zhangjiajie, with a total length of 5,700 meters. The stream originates from Tudiya, and runs from the Zhangjiajie Forest Farm to Shuiraosimen. It is winding and extremely quiet, moving with the mountains, passing through the peaks, valleys and clouds, and extending among the birdsong and flowers. It is named after the stream flowing through the Golden Whip Rock.

The area where the Golden Whip Stream passes through is known as "the most beautiful canyon in the world". The main scenic spots include Drunken Arhat, Eagle Protecting the Whip, Golden Whip Rock, Flower and Fruit Mountain, Water Curtain Cave, Splitting the Mountain to Save Mother, Meeting at a Thousand Miles, Nanmuping, Water Surrounding Four Gates, etc. The water is gurgling, and the bottom is transparent and spotless. Fish swim happily, and red, green, and white pebbles shine in the water. The sunlight shines through the gaps in the forest, casting mottled shadows on the water, giving people a sense of the tranquility and beauty of nature.

The valley has lush vegetation and the stream water is clear all year round. It is known as a "landscape gallery" and a "paradise on earth".

I particularly like this scenic spot, which is located in a stream in the Zhangjiajie mountain area. The water is clear. The entire scenic spot is located in the forest. It takes about 7 kilometers to hike upstream along the stream. There are tall trees, fresh air, and gurgling water along the way, just like entering a fairy tale kingdom. There are many wild monkeys on the way, and they avoid tourists when they see them. If you are tired, you can also take a slide.

The water from the tap was very cold. Someone was drinking water from the tap, but I didn't dare to drink it because I was afraid of diarrhea. After all, it was such a long way, and it would be difficult to get an emergency here.

Jinbian Creek is also known as the Jinbian Creek Grand Canyon. "People walk in the canyon, and mountains pass by on both sides." There are beautiful scenery on both sides of the canyon. The two ends of Jinbian Creek are the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Ticket Station and the Shuiraosimen Ticket Station. The entire walk is about 7.5 kilometers. The whole hike takes about 2.5 hours. The road beside Jinbian Creek is built along the stream. There are not many people in the early morning, and the air is very good. It is very pleasant to walk all the way like this. The stream water is clear and you can see many small fish swimming happily in the water. This is the unique Jinbian Creek fish of Jinbian Creek. They will make a unique Xiangxi specialty snack according to the method here.

Tips:

1. There is a singing stage during the tour of Jinbianxi. Pay ten yuan for a Tujia girl to perform ethnic songs for you.

2. It is best to go into the mountains after the rain has stopped, when the Jinbian Creek is flooded and the scenery is particularly beautiful. It is very cold along the creek, so it is best to wear an extra layer of clothing.

3. There is a "Monkey Forest" section in Jinbian Creek where there are many monkeys on the road. Do not take out food in front of the monkeys to avoid being scratched.

The road is flat, so you don't have to climb up and down. Walking for a while will also exercise your body. You can look up at the scenery above your head to treat your cervical spondylosis. You can play in the water and see butterflies drinking water by the river. There is a trail along the Golden Whip Stream, which is very spacious and flat, and there are plum blossom piles. There will be a path beside the trail for you to come to the stream to watch the stream. There are not many people, and walking in it is refreshing! The sun shines on the stream, and the stones in the stream reflect the golden light. I think this is how the Golden Whip Stream came about. Unfortunately, the sun was not very big that day, and the golden light was not dazzling enough.

Because we had to catch the bus back to downtown Zhangjiajie, we walked along the Golden Whip Stream without the time or mood to stop and appreciate the deep forest and the flowers all over the mountain. At that time, my mind was filled with the words "Walking along the creek, forgetting how far the road is. Suddenly, I came across a peach blossom forest, which stretched for hundreds of steps along the banks. There were no other trees in the forest, and the grass was fresh and beautiful, with fallen petals scattered all over the place." I was still in the painting.

I had already wanted to go back, but the Golden Whip Stream was so beautiful that I couldn’t help but walk a few steps in to take a look. Unexpectedly, I met a lot of monkeys. This trip was completely perfect!

Originally the stream water was clear and very beautiful, but unfortunately it rained two days before I arrived, which caused a flash flood. It was said that the stream water overflowed the tourist trail the day before we arrived and the scenic area was closed. So although the water receded that day and the tourist trail was opened, the stream water was a bit turbid.

But Golden Whip Stream is still so beautiful, showing off the mountains and waters of Zhangjiajie to the fullest.

It was late and it was getting dark, but I could still see the clear water.

The scenery of Jinbian Creek is nice, but it is not special compared with other mountain streams. The biggest highlight is the stone pillars that can be seen rising from the ground from time to time on the shore. Because the stone pillars are shaped like the ancient weapon - whip, Jinbian Creek got its name. Think about the door god Yuchi Gong posted during the Chinese New Year. The whip in his hand and the stone pillar are really similar.

The trip to Jinbianxi was indeed a bit slow at first and then fast. It took 2 hours to get halfway through. After the Qianli Meeting, there was not much scenery in the second half.

Hike along the Golden Whip Stream, walk along the winding and deep canyon, watch the monkeys, wade in the creek, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
